Love In The Wild, Ep. 2.6

Only 3 couples left, what will happen at tonight's Couple's Choice Ceremony? Hard telling! This season has had a lot of crazy things happen. Go Ben and Michelle!

Let's face it, for the most part there really is no one even remotely interesting on the show other than Ben. Everyone else is so boring! Therefore, I'm mainly going to recap some of Ben's hi-lights.

First Benism of the night: “I've never used a GPS. I'd have done better with a map and a compass.” Oh, Ben...

Ben in the quicksand: “You bastard!” “Being in the mud was like being stuck in peanut butter.”

Ben to the scorpions: “Get out of the way, I've got a job to do.”

Ken and Yanina are quite the force to be reckoned with, as they win the challenge without any major problems. Ben and Michelle did enough to stay ahead of Chase and Summer all the way. I think there may be some trouble in competitive paradise: Chase and Summer did not work too well as a team today. Being the competitive person that Summer is, she pretty much blamed Chase for the loss. She is such a sore loser! I really don't think she has any feelings for Chase whatsoever, because if she did, she wouldn't be able to stay so upset with him. I think she just wants to win the show, I don't think that she really cares about falling in love with someone. All she talks about is winning, winning, winning. So, upset Summer goes to bed early and leaves Chase alone and confused about what's going on. Chase put it well when he said he was there to build a relationship, not a first place team.

Ben: “I'm not a picnic sort of fella. Twist my arm and I'll go do the picnic thing.” Aw...sweet Ben doesn't really like picnics, but managed to stumble his way down by the ocean to surprise Michelle.

In an attempt to be romantic, Chase sends Summer on a scavenger hunt to all of the places where they've shared special moments. She says it pulled her out of her funk, but her appreciation of his gesture is a little lackluster.

Contemplating the upcoming twist at the ceremony, Ben and Michelle kind of call Chase and Summer out for being all competitive and no romance. Summer isn't too happy about it...big surprise, seeing as they are in the supposedly worst spot: last place.

The twist for the ceremony: matching questions and answers, a la the Honeymoon Game. Good luck Ben and Michelle! Ken and Yanina automatically get one point for coming in first. The first point earned, goes to Ben and Michelle for Michelle correctly saying that Ben liked her jugs (exact word he used!). Ha!! Shocking discovery: Ben and Ken have a man-crush on each other. Just realized their names rhyme.

And the winner is: Ben and Michelle!!! Yay! They get a 30 second head start in the next challenge, woohoo! Another twist: no one is going home tonight...darn.

Next week looks pretty intense: the winner gets to choose who goes home and ultimately who they will be going up against in the final. Oh dear! Go Ben and Michelle! (Have I mentioned I want Ben and Michelle to win?)
