After
the last Couples Ceremony, the couples are still reeling from the
choices that were made. Ben is upset that he was separated from
Michelle by Ali. Michelle said she wasn't going to step aside even
though her and Ben aren't teammates any more. Ben is just completely
shocked that Ali chose him. Ali told him not to be gone the whole
night. “I've got a curfew already, like I'm grounded.”
If
looks could kill, Jesse would be dead, because Ken has some real
daggers for him. Like children, Ken and Jesse just can't get along.
“Don't follow me.” “Is that a threat.” Oh dear, just let it
go dude!
Challenge:
Ben and
Ali: The pairing is not going how Ali had envisioned. She thought it
would be a lot of fun to be Ben's partner and that he would make her
laugh the whole time, but instead, it's like someone died. Because
neither of them can row, they are in last. Ali's afraid of heights,
and Ben's mad because it's her fault that he might not get to spend
more time with Michelle. Not only did she split them up, but now they
are losing the challenge because of her. Let's just say, Ben's not a
big Ali fan right now, and it doesn't seem like that's going to
change any time soon. To quote Ali: “Ben was frustrated with how I
performed in the challenge, and I was just frustrated with him as a
human.” Apparently, not a match made in Heaven.
Chase
and Summer: They make excellent teammates. They never argue. Not much
more to say...they're just kind of boring.
Ryan
and Jenna: Ryan's sick, but he wants to keep moving. Jenna is very
supportive. But even being sick, they are ahead of Ben and Ali.
Jesse
and Michelle: He gets frustrated because she isn't as fast as him,
they tend to argue quite a bit. This relationship doesn't stand a
chance because Michelle only has eyes for Ben.
Ken and
Yanina: Could there be some trouble in paradise with the most
lovey-dovey couple? All of a sudden, Ken realizes how bossy Yanina is
being during the challenge, and he starts to question whether or not
he could handle her. But, by the end, he still thinks her Latin
temper is good for him.

Before
the Couples Ceremony
At the
Oasis, Chase wants to see where things are going with Summer. During
the challenge, Summer said she's starting to get a crush on Chase.
Ben and
Michelle spend some more quality time together. Ben gave her a cute
little wooden turtle, because he's “a man of many tricks.”
Jesse
says that he still has feelings for Ali. I think he realized that
he's in big trouble, so he goes crawling back to the only person who
could save him. The conversation turns into an argument quickly, and
it's obvious it's not going to happen.
Jenna
confides in Ben that she's not really having romantic feelings for
Ryan. She thinks he's a great guy, but she doesn't want to lead him
on. She's not sure if he's the right partner for her.
Ben
thinks Ali's a black widow. She thinks that one day, “Fun Bags”
(Michelle) will take her brown bag off and he'll see she's a man. Ha!

Summer
and Chase: No surprises, they're going to stay together.
Jesse
and Michelle: Jesse wants to stay with Michelle, but Michelle wants
to switch...SHOCKER! Not! Looks like Ben and Michelle got their wish.
Jesse goes to the Unmatched Area.
Ken and
Yanina:They both decide to stay, as expected.
Ryan
and Jenna: Ryan thinks things are progressing well, albeit a little
slow, he wants to stay. Jenna tells Ryan about her doubts...or
something...the cable went out for a few seconds, so I missed Jenna's
speech. Basically, the gist is that she thinks he is a great guy, and
everything she is looking for, but she doesn't think she has romantic
feelings for him. Ultimately, they both choose to go to the
Unmatched Area (instead of choosing someone else)...risky move.
Ali now
gets to choose (since Ben was picked earlier). She says that she
didn't think it was a good idea for her and Jesse to get back
together because one of them might leave in a body bag. I
agree...that relationship is toxic! However, she doesn't have
romantic feelings for Ryan. So now there are 4 unmatched people,
which means THEY ALL GO HOME! Wow! Didn't see that one coming at all.

couples, we're now down to 3, all of which are pretty strong. I'd
love to see Ben and Michelle win it all!
