The Glass House, Ep. 7

I'm really getting bored with this show. The house does nothing but fight! Unlike Big Brother, there is really no one that I relate with or even want to root for at this point. Half the time, I have no idea what they are fighting about or who is on who's side. Since most of the show is arguing, there isn't much to report on.

Besides fighting, their other conversations are just totally boring. 20 minutes into the episode and nothing has happened.

Who's returning from Limbo? Close vote, 51% was what Jeffrey received to come back over Mike. He volunteered to go to Limbo and it just about backfired.

Losers/Team Captains: Joy and Stephanie
Joy received the fewest votes.

Team Stephanie (Kevin, Erica and Jeffrey) wins over Team Joy (Gene, Andrea).

The house votes, and with a vote of 3-3, Joy must vote...so obviously, she chooses Andrea to join her in Limbo.

I'm so sick of Joy and Gene, so I hope Andrea comes back next week.

Bachelor Pad, Ep. 3.2

Therapy session with the twins: "you called me a slut. I cried.", "stop yelling, you're not a slut, I never would have said that if I was sober", "let's talk strategy, we need people to like us"...wah wah wah! Yikes...double the trainwreck, double the wackadoodle.

Challenge: rhythmic gymnastics ( hello salute to the Olympics). Just as expected, the training is ridiculous and painful (for them and for the viewer).  And if the moves weren't bad enough: the outfits are even worse!

I was disappointed in the girls...they should done better. I loved Mike's analogy: it was like a preschool recital, add ribbons and take it down a notch. Some of the guys took it pretty seriously and actually did quite a bit better than the girls plus they did it in skimpy leotards. Way to go guys.

Judges Ashley and JP, and someone I don't know. They vote on the best and worst guy and girl.Worst=Erica Rose, Ed; Best=Blakely, Mike

Can I just say how much I despise Chris? I have no words to describe how annoying, low-down dirty and skeezy he is. He makes my skin crawl every time I see him or hear him talk.

Michael chooses: Rachel, Lindzi and Donna (which makes Erica mad because she wanted him to give her the rose because she has 1 vote against her because she came in last). Donna is a little delusional thinking Michael is taking her (and only her) on a date. They get to see Adelitas Way perform (who I love). They were great, and Mike and Rachel share a pretty romantic kiss in front of everyone, including Donna. Then, later to fulfill a fantasy, he makes out with Donna. I don't think he really likes her, he's basically just throwing her a bone. Mike ends up giving Rachel the rose.

Back at the house, Chris tries to get in good with all the girls....by making out and playing both Blakely and Jamie, and "selling himself". Yuck!!! Guess what...Jamie gets an eyeful and a big wakeup call by catching Chris and Blakely in bed together. Get out now...you're better off.

Blakely chooses Ed, David and Chris. They do a soapbox Derby. Blakely and Chris deserve each other...they are both fake and annoying.
Blakely gives the rose to Chris...yuck!

Shocker: Ed is drunk...and swimming...again! He's drinking out of his winning trophy. Right now, he's the only bigger train wreck than the dippy twins. They literally fight 24/7! They are ridiculous...stop acting like children!

Britney wants to leave, Erica wants to stay because she has a crush on David. Erica can't convince her to stay, so she's forced to go with her. She says goodbye to David and he couldn't have cared less. What an embarassing display of 2 beings that call themselves humans. The next day...David is surprised to find out the twins left. "I wish they had talked to me first". Lol

At the cocktail party, they are told that all the girls are safe since the twins left. Reid convinces Sarah (who hooked up with Ed the night before) and a few girls to vote for Ed, while many others voted for Ryan because they don't trust him. Immediately after voting, Sarah tells Ed she voted for him and he is shocked. Immediately after that, she regrets voting out the one person she has a crush on snd the one person she liked spending time with.

Rose Ceremony: Ryan received the most votes and is sent home.

Big Brother, Ep. 14.8

Wil: "Shane has gone from the hunted to the hunter I'm screwed give me some camoflage folks." Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

Lots of contemplation about who Shane is going to put up. His showmance, Danielle will be safe. The decision lies between which of Janelle's and/or which of Boogie's players to put up. Everyone suggests Frank because he's a threat, but no one knows about Shane's secret alliance with Frank.

Joe does the ultimate butt-kiss: cooks breakfast for Shane.

We're in week 3, and Jenn can speak! It's a miracle! I thought for sure she was mute!

Coaches Competition: Feel the Burn

Shocker: Ian feels uncomfortable in the gym.

Britney goes out in the first round. She chooses a locker and her task is to choose 2 have nots: Ian volunteers again, and she also chooses Joe.

Round 2: Ian: "Boogie looks like he needs a hip replacement". Boogie is out and he wins $10,000 which must be shared-- Boogie chooses to keep the $6000, he gives $3000 to Ian, and $1000 to Jenn. Ian is so thankful, he starts crying!

Round 3: Dan vs Janelle: Dan is not trying to lose because he doesn't want to be traded a loser. Winner: Janelle, in one of the stupidest things ever--moving a switch back and forth with your tongue.
Dan's prize is a cocktail party. He chooses the coaches, Shane and Danielle.

Janelle chooses to save Wil. Uh oh, Shane's target is now safe.

So many things to think about. Shane gets called to the Diary Room and he has no idea what he's going to do.

Nomination Ceremony:
Ashley and Joe are nominated. Joe is out for revenge, and Ashley is all beside herself. She has a real pity party for herself, similar to Danielle last week.
Question: Why aren't Ian and Jenn considered options from Boogie's team? It was like, it was either Frank or just Janelle's players. Are they really that much less of a threat? I would say they are about equal.

They both have a chance to win Veto, but let's face it, Ashley has NO CHANCE of winning. I'm hoping whatever happens, Shane is able to keep the noms the same, so he doesn't have to ruffle.any feathers by putting Frank up. I really think he might have a true, solid alliance, I just hope Frank is being truthful.

Willie Hantz: Arrested!

In completely surprising news today, Willie Hantz was arrested. Never saw that coming!

Police were called to the scene of a fight in a parking lot. When they arrived, Willie took off. They approached his vehicle, and then he ran. Eventually, he was apprehended and then he refused a breathalizer. He was then arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

It's been a rough week for Willie. First, he is expelled from the house for violence, then arrested. What's next? He's doing nothing to better the Hantz name.

Project Runway, Ep. 10.2

Challenge:

Dylan's Candy Bar: Ralph Lauren's daughter's candy store. It's the unconventional challenge: make whatever you want, but you can only use what's in the candy store! Love these challenges. It's always so amazing to see everyone's creativity.

How much is a chocolate boyfriend?” Christopher

It's inevitable, there's always a couple of people to find something with fabric on it. That's always frowned upon people! I saw someone got some pillows and Buffi had an umbrella. Expect there to be some negative comments about that on the runway later.

Tim thinks Andrea's dress is craft-projecty and he is totally underwhelmed. He thinks she's throwing the challenge away. I would tend to agree, it's not that exciting at all. So she decides to cut it up and start over, but wait, no, now she decides she's going to stand by her design. Make up your mind lady!

Some other creations, however, they are insane! I can't believe what some of these people are doing with candy! These outfits look so colorful and pretty! Some of the colorful patterns are simply stunning and the candy looks like fabric!

Gunnar and Christopher really don't like each other do they? Wow, it's so funny to hear each of them talk about the other.

Oh my, Kooan! His cotton candy basically evaporated! Ha!

The Voice: Season 3 Mentors

Over the past few weeks, we've been given a few of the mentors for Season 3 of The Voice. The last remaining mentor, who will join Christina's team, was announced today. Right now, each coach has 1 mentor each. The past 2 seasons, they each had 2 mentors. There is now word on whether there are only going to be 1 mentor per team, or if the remaining mentors will be announced at a later date.

Here are the teams:
Adam Levine – Mary J. Blige
CeeLo Green – Rob Thomas (of Matchbox 20)
Christina Aguilera – Billie Joe Armstrong (of Green Day)
Blake Shelton – Michael Bublรฉ

I am really excited for 3 out of these 4. I'm not psyched about Mary J. Blige. Nothing against her, just not a huge fan. She has been on Idol before, so we'll see if she brings anything different to The Voice. As for the other 3, I'm huge fans of all of them, so I can't wait to see how they do as mentors. I am most surprised and interested to see Billie Joe Armstrong. Doing a show like this just doesn't seem like it would be his thing. I absolutely love Michael and Rob, I think they're both great musicians, but better yet, they are hilarious! I am dying to see Blake and Michael together...it's going to be a hoot!

Season 3 of The Voice begins on September 10.

Big Brother, Ep. 14.7

Synopsis:

Evicted: Jojo
New HOH: Shane

How many people will be leaving the BB house tonight? One or Two? If Danielle is evicted, Dan will be exiting right along with her. That would really be a shame. I'd like to see him stick around a little longer.

Observations that really have nothing to do with the game, but I just have to comment on:

1. Wow, Julie Chen looks about the best that she ever has! She's actually wearing a really pretty dress, and her hair looks great tonight too. Nice look Chenbot!

2. What is up with that white thing crawling down his chin? That looks absolutely ridiculous.

3. Did anyone ever notice how much Frank uses his hands when he talks? He continually alternates them up and down, whenever he's talking.

Ok, now that that's out of the way, let's get to it!

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 9.9

Last week, I lost 2 of my favorites. Hoping for a better week this week.

Tiffany and George
Nappy-Tabs hip-hop routine about babysitting...hmmm...sounds interesting. Lots of really fast moves and they are totally in sync. Tiffany does not look like she should be able to hit the moves as hard as she is. She looks great! George is good as well. Very nice routine. I like Tiffany, but George just doesn't do anything for me; he's not a standout in my eyes.
My Score: 9 out of 10

Amber and Brandon
This is the first time they are dancing together, as they both lost partners last week. I don't know what it is, but I just don't get excited for either of these 2. I don't find myself saying, “I can't wait to see them dance this week, and see what they are doing.” Just like everyone else on the show: they are really good dancers. They did a great contemporary piece, but I was not wowed by any means. I didn't see anything spectacular, I'm not sure why the judges were so over-the-top excited about them.
My Score: 7 out of 10

Janellle and Dareian
I love this couple. And love Pasha! Always good to see him! Like I've said before, the music has such an impact on the dance. Have a fun song, and it will be a fun dance worth getting excited over! Wow, talk about flexibility! This girl over-extends her splits every week. All I can say is “ouch!”. Loved this Latin ballroom routine, Dareian was even able to get those hips moving...good for him! “No chemistry” from Mary? Really? I thought they had great chemistry. The negative comments don't bode well for them for the eliminations coming up later.
My Score: 9 out of 10

Lindsey and Cole
Another of my favorite couples. Based on the rehearsals, I'm sure I'm going to love this dance! Lindsey looks like she just floats, her movements are so graceful and beautiful. I love the no lights and shadows, it really gives the dance a whole different feel. Technique: check! Chemistry: check! Emotion: check! (Note: maybe I do know what I'm talking about...both Cat and Nigel mentioned the lighting and shadows too.) Cole got quite the compliment from Nigel: he's a genious.
My Score: 10 out of 10

Amelia and Will
Can't stand this couple...they just bug me! They are both so annoying! They haven't had one “normal” dance this entire season. I don't know if it's their strange personalities that the choreographers are playing into, or what, but they always have the MOST bizarre music, and the strangest concepts for their dances. Not my cup o' tea. It's so hard to look beyond the craziness and try to block out the annoying music to even see if their dancing is anything worth watching. They do a few tough looking moves, but I don't really see anything worth going crazy over. Thank you Nigel for agreeing with me this week!!! At least I know I'm not totally alone here! OK, have to disagree with Mary that Will is the best partner! Seriously? Um...don't think so! A lot of times, a quirky personality makes a person more likable, but in Will's case, it just makes him annoying and immature. That's all I'll say.
My Score: 7 out of 10

Audrey and Matthew
I love this couple! Can't wait to see what they're doing! Fiery red costumes for what is sure to be a spicy salsa! Well, the music is up-beat, but they seem to be moving a little slowly, hopefully they pick it up a little. It looks like they're doing some really tricky, intricate moves, hopefully they get some credit for that. Not bad, but not as good as I hoped for.
My Score: 8 out of 10

Witney and Cheon
I Will Always Love You” is such an emotional song, so this contemporary piece should be amazing. Witney, like Lindsey earlier, just floats like a feather. They just make it look so easy. WHOA! What throw/lift! Very beautiful piece, and what an amazing lift at the end. Standing ovation from the judges...seems about right!
My Score: 10 out of 10

Eliana and Cyrus
Nappy-Tabs: can't wait to see what they come up with for Cyrus. Can I just say that I love everything about Cyrus. Oh, I love the beginning! She's like a ballerina in a music box, how cool! Great tutting section. Eliana is really holding her own with Cyrus. I love the way that Tabitha and Napoleon combined their two styles! This is just frickin' awesome! LOVED IT! And so did the judges, another standing O. And they're “both on the d*** train!” lol
My Score: 10 out of 10

Time for the Results:

Big Brother, Ep. 14.6

I can't wait to see what chaos ensues now that Willie is gone. It seems that the next obvious target would be Shane. I really hope that's not the case, I like him. He and Jojo have a tough road ahead of them thanks to Willie.

I think the house is being way to harsh on Shane and Jojo. Jojo was right that everyone else is sticking with their teams and their coach, why should they be criticized for doing the same thing?

I can't believe that Boogie is suggesting a backdoor in week 2! Really?! These people mean business! Jenn is right...the pawns go home! Nothing is a sure thing in this house, especially this early. There's no guarantee their players can win the veto, because there's no guarantee that their players will even BE in the competition.

Nominations:
Frank nominates Shane and Jojo, so no backdooring this week, just a good ol' fashioned “you- aligned-yourself-with-the-wrong-person-so-you're-now-on-the-block” nominations.

Love In The Wild, Ep. 2.8

Tonight is the finale! Who will win? Ken and Yanina or Ben and Michelle? Go Ben and Michelle! If they don't win, at least it wasn't Chase and Summer.

Listening to Jennie McCarthy recap the season, is absolutely excruciating! She ends every sentence in a high-pitched squeeky voice. It is so annoying!

Final Adventure is an overnight challenge. I hope Ben doesn't lose his cool. Should be interesting.

Ben says he'd be happy going to the supermarket to get bread with Michelle, so he's psyched to have a chance to travel around the world with her.

Teams split up: guys look at a map and via walky talky direct the girls to find some items. Ken and Yanina make it look so easy. Previous experience tells us that Ben and Michelle are probably going to struggle...and they do. Somehow Michelle happens upon a box for a clue she wasn't even looking for. Then, frustrated, she sits in the rice patty field crying. Oh dear, this doesn't look good. It's ironic that they have switched roles: Usually Ben is freaking out and Michelle calms him down. This time it's the other way around.

Surprisingly, they aren't too far behind. They assemble their bike quickly, and Ben lightens the mood with a joke: "At least the back comes with air bags" (in the form of his backpack.) It's apparent that even in the worst of times, they manage to balance each other and work as a team.

Ken and Yanina's bike breaks down, so Ben and Michelle are definitely not out of the race.

The couples arrive at the campsite, only 5 minutes apart.  The conditions look miserable, but both couples make the most of it and enjoy some laughs, while enjoying each other's company.

When all is said and done, Ken and Yanina finish first, and win the show. Sad for Ben and Michelle, but Ken and Yanina are definitely a deserving couple.

Both teams are really winners, because they did both found love in the wild.

Both couples are still together after the show and both couples believe they found their soulmates. Awww.

Bachelor Pad, Ep. 3.1

Welcome to Bachelor Pad 3!

Who's in the House?

Guys:
Chris: Emily's season
First impressions: Yuck...don't want to see him again. He wants it to be all girls and him, and he's hoping Lindzi is there.
Reid: Jillian's season
First impressions: I loved Reid, and thought Jillian should have picked him. He doesn't want to lose to Ed again.
Ed: Jillian's season
First impressions: What a douche, never really cared for the guy. What an ugly suit he's wearing. Odd how he's totally avoiding anything to do with Jillian, I wonder why...
Kalon: Emilly's season
First impressions: Do I really even have to say it? He says he needs the money because helicopter fuel is expensive...gag!
Nick: Ashley's season
Ryan (aka “the virgin”): Deana's season
First impressions: Don't remember his face, but kind of remember his story, from way back on Deana's season. Not only is he a virgin, he's also not a drinker. He's just there to win--I think he's on the WRONG show!
Tony: Emily's season
First impressions: All I remember about him is that he's the other guy with a kid, that wasn't Doug. Odd how he missed his son so much on Bachelorette, and now he's left him again, to do another show.
Michael: Jillian's season
First impressions: Michael was the winner of Bachelor Pad 2, and he's looking for love this time. I always liked Michael, hoping he can go far and also find love.

Girls:
Lindzi: Ben's season
First impressions: Ben DEFINITELY should have picked her! She thinks that love would be good, but money would be good too.
Blakely: Ben's season
First impressions: Yuck, never liked her; she's so fake. She hopes Jaclyn will be on because they are friends.
Jaclyn: Ben's season
First impressions: Yet another girl that I can't stand. She says she's frenemies with Blakely. Sounds like their relationship is a little bit one-sided.
Rachel: Brad's season
First impressions: No one seems too excited to see her, especially Lindzi for some reason.
Sarah: Brad's season
First impressions: I have no clue who she is....probably because she was rejected by Brad on the 3rd episode because she couldn't tell the difference between Brad and his twin Chad (totally forgot about that).
Jamie: Ben's season
First impressions: Awkward kisser...that's all we need to know. Again, probably the wrong show to be on.
Erica Rose: Lorenzo's season
First impressions: Finally someone to have fun watching, who will make the show actually watchable. She's hoping for a more positive experience this time around. She doesn't want to see Kalon because she went to the tabloids about him and he wasn't too happy. Drama before entering the house is always a plus.

I'm absolutely hating the twist of having fans on the show. WHAT IS THE POINT? The show is Bachelor Pad, it's for people who were on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, not people who WATCH the show.

Annoying Fans:
David
Chris (aka “SWAT”)
Paige
Donna
Brittany and Erica - twins tied at the hip, playing as 1 person; worst nightmare: waking up next to Kalon, ha!

The Glass House, Ep. 6

Who's coming back, Holly or Andrea? Let's find out! All I have to say is, this episode better be exciting, because I'm getting pretty sleepy.

What is with the extremely long recap about each and every player? This is ridiculous! Is it just because Bachelor Pad 3 started and they are trying to maybe get some new people to stick around that haven't watched it yet?

Do they really have nothing better to do in the house than to have a gay kissing contest with Jeffrey? "Ew", doesn't even come close to describing Erica and Joy making out with Jeffrey. It was just downright uncomfortable to watch them. And what was even more uncomfortable was watching everyone else watching them. There were some great faces! Kevin! Gene! Haha!! And here I thought that Jeffrey was going to be voting the best kisser, but no, the rest of the house was voting. Weird.

Big Brother, Ep. 14.5

Episode Synopsis:

Frank Nominates for Eviction: We don't find out this week!
Coaches Challenge Winner: Janelle
Safe Player this Week: Ashley
Have Nots for the Week: Willie, Shane, Ian and Jojo
Expelled: Willie

There's chaos in the house (shocker!): the coaches don't trust each other, even the ones who had a tight alliance just a few days ago. Willie is public enemy #1.

Poor Willie...time to go pout. It's going to be a tough week for Willie.

I just love Boogie and Frank's partnership: they're a hoot!! Definitely Chilltown 2.0. I know a lot of people don't like Boogie, but I just find him so entertaining.

Willie's head is as thick as a ton of bricks. There is no getting through to him. Hmmm...who else does this sound like? Britney tries to get him to see that everything is his fault for the way that he acted, and that he needs to change the way he's playing. He tells her that he came into the house to play as an individual, not as a team. Well, he got his wish, because NO ONE wants to be on Team Willie. It's Willie vs. the House. Good Luck! It's a little too early in the game to be able to save yourself every week by winning the Veto.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 8.11: The Finale and After the Final Rose

I'm glad to be going into this finale already knowing who she picks. No surprises, just waiting to sit back and enjoy.

Emily's family joins her in Curacao to help her make her big decision.

Jef's up first. He seems so calm and relaxed talking to her Mom. You can tell he means what he says. Talking to her brother, he says the last guy she brought home was Ricky. What about Brad? Hmm... Her brother seems very impressed, so it looks like he has the green light from Mom and brother. What about Dad? Yep, he's got his approval too. Things are looking good for Jef.

Arie's turn to meet the family. He's nervous, and when he's nervous, he talks a lot. They just sit there and listen to him ramble on about fishing. So awkward. He did win some points for pulling out a box with all of his roses in it. Mom approved, and she and Emily's brother are confused. They both like both of the guys. Dad also gives his blessing to Arie. So, they aren't going to be any help to Emily.

Emily's Mom's advice: wait on an engagement. She thinks she should wait and see how they are with Ricki. Emily is still debating whether or not to have the guys meet Ricki, let alone whether or not to accept a proposal.

Project Runway, Ep. 10.1

So glad to have Project Runway back! And soooo glad to have Heidi and Tim Gunn back!!! Last season's All Star season, just wasn't the same without them.

16 designers and a live runway show in Times Square to start off Season 10—here we go! Don't expect a lot of details, because 16 people is a lot to keep track of!

Each designer made a signature look before arriving. They now have to make a companion piece. First trip to Mood: Kooan runs around like a lunatic (imagine that).

Gunnar is proving to be the diva of the group. Boy can that guy complain! He acts like he's so much better than everyone else. Being a self-proclaimed bitch, this could be a very long season...especially if he and Christopher stick around for a long time. Christopher says he's on the wrong show, Gunnar needs to be on Toddlers and Tiaras. Ha!

Big Brother, Ep. 14.4

Synopsis:

Voted Out: Kara
New HOH: Frank

First eviction tonight. Tonight everything gets real. The line will be drawn in the sand.

What the heck is Julie Chen wearing? Yuck! She looks like a circus tent. What is Boogie wearing? Yuck! Where did he get that orange hat? Oh my. (A live tweet later in the episode said: “I vote to evict Boogie's hat.” lol that's a good one.)

Duets, Ep. 1.10

Finale night is here. I have absolutely no idea who is going to win. I like all three. If I had to guess, I think I'd go with J Rome, but we'll see. I could really do without all the extra stuff tonight. I really don't want to see eliminated contestants perform again. Just tell me who wins and be done.

Each of the contestants perform again with their coach. John was great on a song from Wicked, nothing new there. He's always consistent. Jason just rocked Elvis! J Rome was great again, as usual, except at the end, his falsetto was a little off.

Finally, we get to the results. 3rd place is Jason.

Now, if I have to guess the winner, I'm going to say it is 100% a Jennifer Nettles contestant, and it will be someone who's name starts with a J. And the winner is: J Rome!!! And, I was right!

The final 2 are both with Jennifer Nettles's singers, so apparently she did something right.

Will there be a season 2? And if so, will the judges all stay the same? Something to think about. In the mean time, the next singing competition up is X Factor, which will be starting soon.

Big Brother, Ep. 14.3

Tonight's the Veto Competition. Will someone be saved from the chopping block? Frank should have a pretty good shot at winning it. We shall see!

I think Frank is tailor-made for the Big Brother game. He is such a smooth-talker for a newbie. He is an athletic competitor, and he's likeable. That right there is a triple threat. Add to that, Boogie as his coach...look out. Fortunately for the other side, Janelle and Britney are smart as well, and they absolutely see Frank as a threat. Boogie didn't know if they would be smart enough to see that in him, but they totally did. Dan and Boogie have some steep competition. I think they originally thought that as the 2 winners, they would have a cake walk...not so! Dan: “Team Blonde is actually a reality.”

Just when you think Ian can't get any more strange...he shows off his weird talent: he can kick himself in the head. Boogie: “That's my player.” “Hey America, please kick me in the face.” Ha! For the way he acted the first couple of days in the house, Ian should be kicking himself in the face. But good for him, that was the ONLY thing he did this entire episode! Boogie must have had that little talk with him, where he tells him to stop acting like a nut!

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 9.8

Big night ahead. Since there is only 1 episode a week this season, we get to see a group number, all the couples and an elimination. Whew! That's a lot to fit into 2 hours. So who's in jeopardy, and who will go home? We're losing 4 dancers tonight, yikes! Can't wait to see what happens.

The group number was awesome! Totally didn't expect that Marilyn Manson number to be a Nappy-Tabs number! I was expecting it to be a Sonya or maybe a Wade Robson.

The glass house

People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!  baah ha ah ha.....  You can't tell me that people don't know about Gene and Joy?  Awww come on....  I'm not sure about this show, it seems some people are not using any type of good strategy, ya think?
The few times I've gotten to actually watch it I'm ready to see Stephanie take a dive.  Everybody says she's so nice, I say so what.  Start stirring up some drama with the "other" side of the house.  Now that would be some GREAT drama.  Come on people in reality tv land!!  You can really mess with these players and you're falling right into what they want and what they want to happen.  MIX IT UP!!  lol

Love In The Wild, Ep. 2.7

Thank goodness, they picked Ben and Michelle!!  Chase and Summer are a nice couple but I didn't actually see any chemistry.  Maybe they are better at hiding their feelings for each other.  It might have made a difference and they might have been chosen to stay?  NAH!!!!!!!!
That's all I've got to say about that for now.

Big Brother

Boogie, the ladies have got you pegged.  Yes your social game worked with Will, but Dan's already a team member down and Janelle and Brittany are onto your no good antics like stink on a skunk!
Brittany better stay on her toes, you know the saying "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!"
I know, I know, things can go haywire in a heartbeat.  Don't let the "boogie man and dan" get into you head, it's not good!  I like all the coaches, they are fun to watch, but boogie man's ego is a little over the top for me.  lol  I guess we need to watch a few more shows to see how the actual players get along or not.
Yes, we need to see some drama, dramas good and when you're cooped up like they are well....no telling what will happen.

Love In The Wild, Ep. 2.7

This week's challenge is huge! Whoever comes in first solidifies their place in the final 2 AND they choose who goes home at the next Couples Choice Ceremony. Go Ben and Michelle!!! They have a 30 second lead from last week's challenge, so hopefully it will give them an edge. Welp...it didn't help them one bit...darn. And just like that, they are in last. Yikes! Poor Ben on his sleepy horse--Michelle left him in the dust. So yeah, still in last. He has proven each week that he isn't that great at any type of competition and to make it worse he panics and then performs even worse when he knows he's losing. They manage to pull ahead of Ken and Yanina who struggle with the cave portion of the adventure. And then, just like that Ken and Yanina somehow jump into first after finding the buried treasure chest before the other 2. What a comeback! That was just ridiculous. Well, I think Ben and Michelle are done. I didn't really see either of the other 2 choosing them to go with them to the final. Their only shot of making it there, I'm afraid, was to win the adventure, which they didn't. Bummer. 30 second lead, and they came in last. Just sad.

Ken and Yanina need to decide who to take to the finals. Ken wants to beat the best of the best: Summer and Chase. Yanina wants the best chance to win: Ben and Michelle.

Seriously? Chase thinks that he and Summer are just as serious as Ben and Michelle? That's just ridiculous! Chase may think he's in a relationship with Summer, but it's pretty obvious that she could care less about being in a relationship with Chase. She barely acts like she likes him. Just because Ben and Michelle are “touchy feely” doesn't mean that they don't have true feelings for each other. It's very obvious that both Ben and Michelle truly want to be with each other and their relationship is more than just physical. Ben said it perfectly when he said that he came to find love, so whether they continue or not, he found Michelle, so he's happy. Aww...

Although the decision was tough, Ken and Yanina choose.....BEN AND MICHELLE!!!!! Way to go Ken and Yanina! They chose them because they most closely resemble what Ken and Yanina have. They got that right! I'm so glad that Summer isn't in the finale. She was a great competitor, but I really disagreed with how she handled relationships with each of her guy partners. She didn't seem to care about any of them, even if she said she did.

BUT, maybe I was wrong...apparently they are still together and she's moving to be closer to him. I'm shocked.

Finale next week, good luck to Ben and Michelle!

The Glass House, Ep. 5

First 10 minutes? Nothing. But. Drama! None of it even dignifies talking about...just plain stupid, drunk fighting about absolutely nothing! Honestly, I have absolutely no idea what the entire house was fighting about, nor do I care. Time to move on. Seriously.

Kevin returns to the house, and Ashley is gone for good this time. She came back twice, but 3rd time sent her packing. I kind of thought maybe Kevin would be gone due to some of his behavior recently. I don't know why Ashley wasn't gettin' the love, there really wasn't anything wrong with her.

Mike and Holly receive the fewest number of votes this week, which means they will be this week's team captains with a chance of going into Limbo.

Can I just say that the longer this season goes, the more and more bored I'm becoming with each episode. It's definitely no Big Brother that's for sure. Maybe it's just because I don't really like any of the people.

Team Mike wins the challenge, and he is safe from Limbo.

Has Hell frozen over? Prime Time 99, aka Alex, came back up the tubes! The viewers voted him back in???? Nope, he's just to deliver the Fanswers (whew!). And just like that, the evil was gone again.

The votes are in, the other housemate going to Limbo this week is: Andrea. Both Stephanie and Kevin received votes as well.

So, who's coming back? That's a tough one. I'm thinking Andrea.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 8.10 "Men Tell All"

Not a huge recap tonight, because it's Men Tell All time!

Let's review:

Ryan's a douche: his famous one-liners: “don't gain weight”, “I will still love you, I just won't love on you as much”, “trophy wife”.

Kalon's a douche: “I love when you talk I just wish you'd let me finish”, “run along”, “baggage”

Doug's clueless: total awkwardness—she gives all the signs that she wants kissed, and nothing. She's breaking up with him, and he kisses her....he didn't see it coming.

Travis and Shelly (the egg): they sing “Twinkle, Twinkle” and tuck in the egg...um...Ok. And boy Emily is a horrible singer!

The guys are introduced, and I absolutely love that the crowd totally erupted when Sean's name was announced. He's just too cute when he blushes.

I love how shocked Ryan was to watch the footage of the guys celebrating when his bags were being picked up, while in the limo he was reminiscing about the friendships that he had built with them. Classic.

Gang up on Kalon time! Big surprise that he says that he's good friends with Chris and Tony...they were all just on Bachelor Pad together. What a sorry excuse for calling Ricki baggage: that after awhile sometimes you just aren't yourself? Umm...no. That's when the REAL YOU shines through.

Big Brother, Ep. 14.2

Second episode of season 14, here we go. Each episode has so much to discuss and dissect, so I think what I'm going to start doing is give a brief synopsis of what happens in the episode, and then cover all the details.

Episode Synopsis
  • Boogie wins the Coaches Challenge and gives Ian immunity
  • Shane, Ashley, Ian and Danielle were chosen as Have-Nots for the week
  • Willie nominates Frank and Kara for eviction

American Idol Judging News

Big news today from American Idol. Steven Tyler said he is not returning as a judge. I'm so bummed, I thought he was great, and he was so entertaining! You never knew what he was going to say/do next. His announcement came on the same day that J.Lo hinted at the same news. She said that she thinks it might be time for her to leave. Nothing official, but that doesn't sound good. I liked her too, and I loved her chemistry with Steven.

So that leaves Randy Jackson...again. When, oh when, will he leave? I am so tired of him! We lose good judges, but continue to be stuck with him. I don't think he's going to leave willingly, so I think they need to fire him. At this point, I think they should go with 3 all new judges.

Rumors have been flying about who could be joining the panel. The most notable, and seemingly legitimate, being Adam Lambert! Oh how wonderful that would be. I'm a huge Adam Lambert fan. I think he would bring a lot of good insight to the panel. He's smart, he's talented, he's funny, he's got a lot of personality, and he's been on the other side of the table. Perfect choice, I say. I hope it works out.

Update 7/13/12: Today, it is official that J. Lo is leaving Idol. Another name I've heard tossed around is Mariah Carey. Someone else told me they heard Charlie Sheen...I really hope they were joking!

Update 7/14/12: Two other names added to the list of potential judges: Celine Dion and Mary J. Blige.

Update 7/23/12: It is OFFICIAL--Mariah Carey will be a judge on the next season.

Big Brother, Ep. 14.1

And we're back baby!! BB14 is finally here!

I can tell it's going to be a great season! Which 4 houseguests will be returning? My guesses are Brittney, Dan, Janelle and Boogie.

The houseguests arrive, and Julie starts sending them into the house. And they're off! Time to find a room!

My first impressions through the chaos:
  • I had no idea just how gay Wil was going to be, it was hard to tell from his picture, but he is gay-gay. Joe said he might accidentally walk up to Wil at a bar, because he's the best looking girl in the house.
  • I love Ian already! I think he will be one to watch. He pegged Willie right away! Ha!!! Boy, that didn't take long at all. And, he's got a crush on Kara. Aw!
  • Can't wait to see what Willie, aka Little Russell, has in store for the house. I just hope he doesn't steal someone's socks and burn them.

Expect the unexpected”: 4 houseguests are returning as coaches—cool twist. Let's see how my guesses are. I'm 1 for 1—Dan is the first returning houseguest. Oh and 2 for 2, with Janelle! 3 for 3 with Brittney! 4 for 4 it's Boogie! I love these 4...couldn't have been much better (at least out of the options they were showing online). Wow, I'm never that right about anything! I am so glad Rachel didn't come back. If you don't believe me that I actually picked the right 4 before they were revealed, just check out my Facebook status before the episode started (or ask Sharon, because I texted her before it started, too)!

The second twist is that the coaches win $100,000 if their contestant wins. Very interesting!

Ian looks terrified when Ian walks in. “Daddy's home” haha Boogie! Ian was 10 when he watched Boogie. He compares him to playing against Alex Rodriguez. I totally forgot that Boogie evicted Janelle...awkward!

Dan nailed Willie too!   I really thought he might have a chance at getting away with not revealing who he is, but apparently just about every houseguest is a huge Survivor fan.  ON Survivor, Brandon thought he could do it, but he ended up caving, so we'll see how long Willie can keep it up. Uh oh, they're all onto him...none of the coaches want to pick him!

Duets, Ep. 1.9

With next week being the finale, tonight's elimination will give us the top 3 finalists. Bridget's song last week was way too boring. My guess is that she will be in the bottom 2. Yep! Jason is through to the finals! Yay! John is the other member of the bottom 2 this week. He should  be safe, but you never know. Yep, I was totally right! That would have been a huge upset if he would have gone, because I think he's been a fan favorite all season. So, we have an all-guy final 3. Jennifer Nettles somehow has both of her contestants left, and Kelly has one, while both John Legend and Robin Thicke have 0.

Hopefully we will have some better, more modern song choices this week. I like the top 3, so I hope they all bring it!

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 9.7

It feels like forever since a new episode, even though we only missed one week! It's FINALLY time for the first live performances! I'm hoping by the end of the show, I'll be able to pick out my favorites. I have to, because my friend Dave and I are competing with our picks. I bested him in Idol, so we'll see if he's got me beat in SYTYCD. I'll be picking my top 2 (1 guy and 1 girl) at the end of this post. Anyone else who wants to weigh in with your picks, I'd love to know!

Here we go!

First number of the night is a group number with all 20 dancers. It's kind of a 60s style, Mad Men sort of dance around a bunch of desks. I wasn't overly impressed...they really didn't do much dancing.

I've always wondered why they waste so much time announcing the dancers individually and having them do a little dance. It's really kind of dumb, and wastes time. It doesn't really show you anything about the dancers. It's not like anyone is going to remember them for their 3-second dance at the very beginning of the show. Can we just get rid of that segment please?

It's time to see who the couples are now, that's always interesting to see how people are paired up.

Big Brother Buzz: Only 1 Day To Go!

I don't know about anyone else, but I am getting so excited for Big Brother to start! Only 1 day and 2 hours to go!

Today on tvguide.com, they shared some juicy info on some of the contestants, so I shall share it with you!

The first bit of information is on Joe Arvin, the 43-year-old chef, wasn't supposed to be on the show. A 23-year-old bartender named Mike was originally cast, but he backed out. Great. I bet he was supposed to be the cute one on the show, but we're stuck with an older guy and a bunch of other losers. We'll see, maybe someone will buzz off Frank's hair in his sleep, and he'll be more manly looking.

We all want more info on Willie Hantz don't we? I just have to say that this golden nugget of information is priceless!! So, Willie is 34. Apparently he has a 17-year-old daughter (which means she was born when he was 17). His 17-year-old daughter is going to have a baby this month, while he's on the show. What does a Hantz brother in this situation say? "I'm going to be the sexiest, 34-year-old grandfather you ever saw!" Holy crap! This guy's going to be a riot! In other Hantz news, he claims he's NOT going to make the same mistakes the other Hantz's have: "Somebody in this family has gotta win something because we're running out of chances." Ha! Russell couldn't have said it better himself. I guess if he doesn't win, he'll be working with Russell and Sean in their house flipping business next season (if there is a next season) of Flipped Off. He says he won't be like Russell on the show. He doesn't want to be mean and kick people when they're down like Russell did, because you have to know your boundaries. He doesn't think that Russell could last a week in the Big Brother house. I don't know about him not surviving, but I don't think anyone else could survive a week with him! Somebody would be coming out in a body bag (my Seinfeld friends will appreciate that reference)!

Love In The Wild, Ep. 2.6

Only 3 couples left, what will happen at tonight's Couple's Choice Ceremony? Hard telling! This season has had a lot of crazy things happen. Go Ben and Michelle!

Let's face it, for the most part there really is no one even remotely interesting on the show other than Ben. Everyone else is so boring! Therefore, I'm mainly going to recap some of Ben's hi-lights.

First Benism of the night: “I've never used a GPS. I'd have done better with a map and a compass.” Oh, Ben...

Ben in the quicksand: “You bastard!” “Being in the mud was like being stuck in peanut butter.”

Ben to the scorpions: “Get out of the way, I've got a job to do.”

The Glass House, Ep. 4

The episode starts with Jeffrey bawling his eyes out like a blubbering fool! Seriously, get a grip dude. It's the 3rd week, if it's getting to you like this already, you don't stand a chance.

I really wanted to like Kevin: he's a police officer from Ohio, kind of cute...but...he's not coming off so good any more after his turn on Erica, and now his fight with Joy.

Gene makes the announcement to the cameras that one year ago today that his best friend died. Joy can see that he's upset and he tells her why. Ever since the beginning, those two have kind of had a thing, not really sure why. They don't really seem like each other's type...Mike agrees.

We see a scene from a webisode on July 4, where the houseguests talked to America about who they wanted America to send home. Somehow, it all comes back to race again and Joy and Mike get into a huge argument. This house goes off on the hottest topics that have absolutely nothing to do with what's going on. I really would have like to have seen more of that!

The house is split down the middle: half desperately hoping that Erica comes back (Jeffrey, Andrea, Stephanie) and the other half hoping for an upset (Kevin, Mike, Ashley, Joy). America has spoken, and it's bye-bye Debbie Downer, aka Robin.

Time for the Bottom 2 announcement, and this week's team captains are: Ashley and Holly. Poor Ashley, she's in the bottom for the 3rd time. I'm not sure what she has to do to gain some votes. Well, a story about surviving Hurricane Katrina, could do it.

Prior to the challenge, some major strategizing going on. Since Ashley and Holly are both on the same side, they can plan who to put on which team, to force the other team to pick off one of their own. How? They will put the other side on Holly's team. They will try to make Holly's team lose, so that one person from the other side will have to go up against Holly in Limbo. Of course, none of this can work if Holly's team wins.

For Team Ashley, everyone suspects Stephanie of cheating, and she admits in her interview that she feels safe either way, so she didn't really care whether they won or lost, so she didn't go out of her way to help improve the communication during the challenge. I think they all should be right to consider her a threat. Team Holly, definitely not looking as smooth as Team Ashley, so it looks like their plan might work. The winners are: Team Holly! Just like in Big Brother, expect the unexpected. All the stars must align to pull off such a strategic move, and they were a little out of whack for Team Ashley.

Obviously, Kevin has put a target on his back, and Erica would love nothing more than to return the favor to him. Gene proves to be the swing vote yet again. The votes are in: Stephanie gets 4 votes and Kevin gets 5, so Kevin joins Ashley in Limbo. Can Ashley come back yet again? I would say her chances are pretty good because of Kevin's behavior in the last couple episodes. Stephanie may not feel so comfy now, time to decide who's side she's really on, because they're coming for her!

The Bachelorette, Ep. 8.9

Going into this episode, I not only know who Emily picks, but I also read who gets the boot tonight. At least now I know what to expect, and I don't have to be surprisingly devastated. I'm looking for some hidden clues tonight to see when Emily knows who she's not picking, and why.

The first thing that I thought was kind of interesting was Emily's summary of her feelings for each of the guys. She says pretty much the same about each of the guys (just has she has every other week, too), however, I think it is interesting that she doesn't ever mention anything about Arie being a good dad. She does say that about the other two. Here are some of the adjectives she uses to describe them:

Sean = jackpot, complete package, best dad ever

Jef = weird, unique, adventure, best husband and best step-dad ever

Arie = youthful, sweet, sensitive, best friend

Based on those descriptions alone, you would think she is leaning towards Sean and Jef, and that Arie would be the odd man out.

Duets, Ep. 1.8 (The Standards)

Singing the Standards (aka “old songs”) ...yuck! Thank goodness it's only an hour show tonight, I don't know if I could make it if it was much longer.

Live Results from Last Week's Vote:
Jason: safe
Olivia: in the bottom 2
J Rome: safe
John: safe
Bridget: in the bottom 2

Going home: Olivia ...America got it right!!!!! It's about time! My vote was right last week. Robin is now the first celebrity to lose both of his partners.

Bridget and John Legend “Unforgettable” (Oh, how I've always hated that song!!)
With the first few words, I'm already bored out of my mind! With a song this terrible, the only good thing I can say about it is that she hit all the notes and blended well with John. Other than that, it was just painful. I kept saying to myself: 'is it over yet?' and 'if they say 'unforgettable' one more time, I'm going to have to cut my ears off. Vocally, it was a good performance, just not my style, AT ALL.

J Rome and Jennifer Nettles, “God Bless the Child”
I think this will be a pretty good song for J Rome. He sings so smoothly and beautifully. It's another great performance. Could someone tell Jennifer to stop singing so low...it's really annoying. Overall, another really good performance.

John and Jennifer Nettles, “Georgia on My Mind”
Both being from the same town in Georgia, this was obviously a perfect choice for them. Another great performance from John. I think he could win the show.

Jason and Kelly Clarkson, “Feeling Good”
This seems like kind of an odd choice for Jason. He's getting so much better each week. He is killing this song! Wow, that was so good! I hope he can get the votes because he's becoming one of my favorites!

My Ranking This Week:
The Top 3 guys with a 'J' are too close to call I think. They all were really good, so they could end up in any order.
1. John
2. Jason
3. J Rome
4. Bridget – going home

Not only was Bridget in the bottom 2, but she sang the slowest, most boring song and performed first. That's 3 strikes, so I think she's out!

Big Brother 14, Meet The Players

Very ironically, just today, I was scoping out the CBS website to see if the cast had been revealed for the next season of Big Brother, because the premiere is July 12. I found nothing. However, just a couple hours later, on my Facebook newsfeed, you guessed it, CBS announced that the new cast was being revealed! It totally made my day! As I began reading, the most exciting news of all was Season 14 will feature a Hantz!!! No, not Russell. No, not his older brother Sean. No, not Sean's son, Brandon. We will now get to meet another member of the Hantz family, Russell and Sean's younger brother Willie.

Just as last year, there will be some returning houseguests, who haven't been revealed yet. None of the four appeared last year, so it will be fun to see who comes back! But, in Big Brother fashion, there's a twist: the returning players are playing a separate game, for separate money.

My first impressions of the cast:
  • I can't wait to meet Willie Hantz! He looks a lot like Russell, with that very sneaky, manipulative looking grin. Which family member will he be the most like: Russell? Sean? Brandon? Only time will tell, but to the question of which Big Brother contestant you liked or disliked the most, he said: "My least favorite was Rachel because I would have shot myself if I was in that house with her. There is nobody I really respected who ever played the game." Who does that sound like? On his bio, he also said the hardest part of living in the House will be eating slop, because he is used to his roommate's (his Mom's) cooking. Ha!
  • There are lots of pretty girls (no big surprise), but where are all the hot guys? Seriously?! Shane is probably the best looking of the group. I guess we'll have to hope for some good-looking returning players.
  • OK, so what's up with Wil? I seriously thought he was a girl at first glance! Come on, admit it, you thought the same thing! What guy wears their hair like that? He looks like he could be Fabio's son. He also looks quite a bit like "Fabio" from Survivor, only that Fabio had much better looking hair.
  • This is mean, but I can't stop laughing at Ian's picture! Wow...that poor guy! Someone needs to give him a pair of glasses from this century, or even better, contacts. That would help him tremendously. Being an engineer, he looks like he belongs on a different "Big" show: The Big Bang Theory, not Big Brother! That was a good one, if I do say so myself! Ha!
So, let's meet the cast! I'd love to know what everyone else thinks, so leave a comment with your first impressions!

So You Think You Can Dance, Top 20

Happy July 4th everyone! There is no new episode of SYTYCD this week, but it should be back next week. So this week, I thought I would post some information about the Top 20 to help us get to know them better. TV Guide published all of these fun tidbits about each of the dancers:

Love In The Wild, Ep. 2.5

After the last Couples Ceremony, the couples are still reeling from the choices that were made. Ben is upset that he was separated from Michelle by Ali. Michelle said she wasn't going to step aside even though her and Ben aren't teammates any more. Ben is just completely shocked that Ali chose him. Ali told him not to be gone the whole night. “I've got a curfew already, like I'm grounded.”

If looks could kill, Jesse would be dead, because Ken has some real daggers for him. Like children, Ken and Jesse just can't get along. “Don't follow me.” “Is that a threat.” Oh dear, just let it go dude!

Challenge:
Ben and Ali: The pairing is not going how Ali had envisioned. She thought it would be a lot of fun to be Ben's partner and that he would make her laugh the whole time, but instead, it's like someone died. Because neither of them can row, they are in last. Ali's afraid of heights, and Ben's mad because it's her fault that he might not get to spend more time with Michelle. Not only did she split them up, but now they are losing the challenge because of her. Let's just say, Ben's not a big Ali fan right now, and it doesn't seem like that's going to change any time soon. To quote Ali: “Ben was frustrated with how I performed in the challenge, and I was just frustrated with him as a human.” Apparently, not a match made in Heaven.

Chase and Summer: They make excellent teammates. They never argue. Not much more to say...they're just kind of boring.

Ryan and Jenna: Ryan's sick, but he wants to keep moving. Jenna is very supportive. But even being sick, they are ahead of Ben and Ali.

Jesse and Michelle: He gets frustrated because she isn't as fast as him, they tend to argue quite a bit. This relationship doesn't stand a chance because Michelle only has eyes for Ben.

Ken and Yanina: Could there be some trouble in paradise with the most lovey-dovey couple? All of a sudden, Ken realizes how bossy Yanina is being during the challenge, and he starts to question whether or not he could handle her. But, by the end, he still thinks her Latin temper is good for him.

1st: Chase and Summer
2nd: Jesse and Michelle
3rd: Ken and Yanina
4th: Ryan and Jenna
5th: Ben and Ali

The Bachelorette Finale Spoiler

We are only a few weeks away from the season finale, where we will see who Emily chooses.

Personally, if I was Emily, I would choose Sean. If I could choose for Emily, I would probably pick Sean as well. I think that Jef might not be ready to be a Dad quite yet. I think he will be a really great Dad someday, but I don't know if he's ready to jump right into being the father of a 6-year-old. As for Arie, with his racing, how much will he be around? It seems like he wouldn't be able to offer as much support as Emily is wanting for her and Ricki. If the choice was between Jef and Arie, I would definitely go with Jef. He's a lot more fun, and I think he genuinely cares for Emily. Not that Arie doesn't, but I just don't get the same vibes from him as with Jef when he is with Emily. Sean, on the other hand, he just seems like the complete package. He's extremely sweet and caring, he's got a funny, quirky side, not to mention he's extremely good looking. His family seems very welcoming and loving. Out of all the families, I think she fit in the best with Sean's family. Obviously Arie's family wasn't the best fit. She got along well with Jef's siblings, but let's remember, she hasn't met his parents yet.

So who did she choose, and are they still together? Reality Steve has broken the news of who the last man standing is. Thanks to Sharon, I've become obsessed with Reality Steve's blog. I love his recaps, and the way he writes. Part of what he does is investigates and reports spoilers. So, if you can't wait until Sunday, July 22nd, continue reading. But if you want to be surprised, stop reading NOW!
