Survivor, Ep. 31.2

Ta Keo Camp
Spencer says that New School won over Old School at last Tribal. Terry, Woo, Kelly, etc. missed the boat. Kelly is surprised that Jeff flipped and voted with New School. Jeff is with New School, but he doesn't want to cut ties with Old School. He thinks Spencer and Shirin are playing too hard, too fast. Jeff tells Terry he wants to get them out. He tells Terry he doesn't want to go to the end with them. He better be careful, because Terry sees what kind of game he is playing, and he might just want to take Jeff out!

Proving Jeff has watched previous seasons, he tells Terry he's looking for a spyshack! LOL!

Abi is so weird! Spencer asks Peih-Gee how they made a fire chimney in China. She starts talking and Abi butts in with "What's going on Peih-Gee?" Hello, she was talking! That was just so awkward. Her eyes are just creeping me out...she's like possessed! I don't remember her eyes being like that the last time she played. Spencer can't believe he has to trust someone like her. He said she is all about the drama. Jeff said she was their very own little soap opera. He is so right! The problem is that everyone hates her, which means everyone is going to want to keep her around to take to the end.

Peih-Gee and Shirin compare notes about babysitting Abi. Clearly they aren't observant because she was right there and heard everything. Peih-Gee actually got really defensive and started going at Abi. Shirin just walked away and let them fight. Abi remained calm but in a really passive-aggressive way. Peih-Gee felt better after her little outburst. Abi went off and cried by herself because she really wanted to work with Peih-Gee and now she was being laughed at. She thought her and Peih-Gee would get along because Peih-Gee was on the outs of her tribe in China, so they have a lot in common.

Terry felt really bad that she was all alone and being laughed at. He decided to go talk to her and ended up bonding with her on a personal and game level. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not to be aligned/associated with her. In the morning, she talked to Jeff and she told him what Terry did for her and they both agreed that they would like to work with Terry. His target is Spencer....noooooooooo!

Bayon Camp
Please tell me Joe is going to start talking some game with some people...he needs alliances! Well, the first we see of him tonight, he's building hammocks. Fishbach called him Survivor MacGyver! Oh no...stop Joe! You're doing the opposite of what you wanted to do! You're not laying low, you're not taking yourself down a notch in competitions. Looks like he is public enemy #1 at this point. Not good!

Savage shared a very sad, personal story about his wife and got the whole tribe emotional. Even Kass was a little emotional and showed that maybe she does have a heart after all. Jeremy needed some time away and they wondered if he was off looking for the idol. He was just emotional because his wife is pregnant and he wants to see her belly. Savage went and found Jeremy and told him that Fishbach was wondering if he was looking for an idol, and that's where his head is at right now.

Immunity Challenge
Challenge: race up an A-frames with a coil of rope that will pull a crate to finish. The crate has puzzle pieces. First one to finish the puzzle wins.
Reward: Survivor toolkit with hammer, axe, chisel, saw, bamboo nails
Ciera sits out for Bayon

There's a lot of skids going down those A-frames! Both tribes are about neck-and-neck. Jeff pretty much just rolls and flops the whole way down.

Bayon gets the crate over first, but Ta Keo isn't too far behind.

Kimmi and Kass working on the puzzle for Bayon. Kelley Wentworth and Peih-Gee doing the puzzle for Ta Keo.

Spencer takes over for Kelley. Shirin is screaming and finally jumps in with Spencer.

Jeremy takes over for Kass. Joe comes in and takes over with Jeremy.

Spencer and Shirin are making progress. Ta Keo was sure they had it...Jeff says it's wrong! Bayon thinks they have it...and they're right!

Bayon wins again and Ta Keo goes back to Tribal Council. Oh no, Spencer is in trouble :(

Ta Keo Pre-Tribal
I'm not liking the way the tides have turned on this tribe. First Vytas, now they're gunning for my Spencer. It's way too early to lose one of my 2 favorites (the other being Joe...and the way things are going, the first time their tribe loses, he's gone).

Jeff is scared of Spencer because he's so smart. He's scared of Shirin because she is just as smart as Spencer and she's emotional.

Peih-Gee would like to vote out Abi, but she wants to side with the majority.

How do Spencer and Shirin not know that they are all by themselves. Kelley and Woo are young and New School, why aren't they aligning with Spencer and Shirin? Shirin thinks she is safe and has numbers with Abi and Varner.

Shirin talked to Abi about what happened. Abi said she was disappointed that Shirin didn't come talk to her or stand up for her. She said she is loyal and if they would have done something, she would be loyal to her. She couldn't believe that she would just watch her get yelled at and not stand up for her. Abi then makes the comment about everyone wanting to vote out Spencer and her. Shirin is shocked and immediately goes to tell Spencer that they are in big trouble. I don't know how they are going to get themselves out of this one.

Shirin tries to get Woo on their side by telling him that he will be taken to merge and then he will be the first to go because he is a physical threat. Woo isn't buying this and doesn't want to leave his place in a majority alliance. He isn't really hearing anything she has to say. He said she's never talked to him until this point, so her begging isn't going to do anything now.

Poor Spencer! He got so emotional! He couldn't believe how quickly the game has changed for him and now his only chance of survival is to go against his one and only ally and friend in the game.

Tribal Council
Shirin says people don't trust her after what happened and she know thinks she is at the bottom. She hopes to dig herself out. Abi said Terry was the only one who rescued her. Probst points out that the same thing happened to Shirin on her season and Mike was her savior. Here she is and she didn't do the same thing her tribe didn't do for her. Very interesting!

Spencer says he is concerned and he's afraid that his talk about strategy is the reason. He said he knows he needs to connect with each member of the tribe. Spencer told the tribe that if he stays he will make that change. Unfortunately, that's the same problem he had his first time around. This is Second Chances, and the same things are going to take people out.

Ugh! I hate this! I don't want to see Spencer go!

Whoa!!!! I fully expected it to be Spencer! He's safe for another couple days at least! He's got some work to do, but I'm not giving up on him yet!

Next week:
1. Drop your buffs - Tribe switch
2. Three tribes!

What?! This is just what Spencer and Joe need! A switch-up! Their current tribes are gunning for them, maybe a switch in scenery will flip the targets elsewhere!

Update: I just read some interesting things that were left out of this episode. Read the full article here. Basically 2 things key to Shirin's exit were not shown.

1. She says the reason she was voted out was because she got caught going after Varner. She said that when she found out the other side wanted Spencer out, she went to Terry and his group and said that Varner wasn't with them and was going to screw them over. This didn't work. Instead, they told Varner what she said and he basically said that if she was coming after him, he was going to take her out.

2. Right before Shirin's torch was snuffed, she told the group that Terry had the hidden immunity idol. She made up a lie about seeing him looking and then burying something. She said everyone freaked out! Why were we not shown this?!

The Voice, Ep. 9.4

The Battle Rounds: Part 4

Team Adam

Chance Peña, 15
15 years old...get out of town! He sings like he's much older! I love his tone. He has a great vibrato, but not too much that it's annoying. He is really smart and talented. I love this song ("I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran, from The Hobbit). The more he sang, the better it got! Wow! Loved it! I love that Adam got him hands down! Adam is going to have fun with him!
Chair Turns: 1

Victor Kiraly, 31
He looks so familiar - I feel like I've seen him before. Another interesting song choice that came very unexpected. Definitely not a song I am very fond of...that's a shame if that's the kind of music he wants to sing, because he has a really nice voice. I want to like him, but I hate that song! I'm hoping for some better song choices for him in the next rounds. At least he changed it up and it was pretty different from the original.
Chair Turns: 4

Andi & Alex, 23
Whoa...."Thank You" by Dido...as a duet...a country duet...with twin girls! That's about as unexpected as you can get! Perfect harmony, and beautiful voices. That was really cool. Very unique and original.
Chair Turns: 4

Team Blake

Krista Hughes, 22
Yet another country singer...I've lost count how many there have been so far this season. I didn't care for the way she sings her words. Too country for me.
Chair Turns: 4

Cole Criske, 16
He looks kind of like a younger version of Matt McAndrew, without all the tattoos and glasses. I love this song. I think he did a good job with it. He definitely sounds his age. I think in a couple of years he will really develop a great sound. Once he hit the chorus, he turned into a different singer! The chorus was really good!
Chair Turns: 3 (Blake, Gwen, Pharrell)

Team Gwen

Korin Bukowski, 20
Wow, she's interesting! I like her unique voice. It took me a really long time to figure out what song she was singing. She has a quirky voice that might get annoying the further she makes it in the competition, but I did really like this performance.
Chair Turns: 1

Alex Kandel, 22
Great song choice. It really suits her voice. She actually kind of sounds like the girl who sings it. She tends to overpronounce some of her words, which is kind of annoying. If she can get that under control, she could be really good.
Chair Turns: 2 (Adam and Gwen)

Team Pharrell

Darius Scott, 23

I didn't like it at the beginning, but it kind of grew on me a little bit. We don't hear too many people like him on this show. He made some unexpected note changes at the end, and it was really interesting. He's pretty talented.
Chair Turns: 3 (Adam, Gwen, Pharrell)

Celeste Betton, 27
Hate the song, and didn't love the performance. Not a fan.

The Voice, Ep. 9.3

The Battle Rounds: Part 3

Team Adam

Amanda Ayala, 17
I don't really care for her tone...it seemed kind of one-note to me. She rocked it out at the end, but I wouldn't have been sad if no one turned around.
Chair Turns: 3 (Adam, Blake, Pharrell)

Manny Cabo, 45
Great, great song choice! Adam turned around right away, and with good reason! This guy's voice is awesome!!! That tone on a rock song was so good! He has so much power and control and yet he didn't scream. And then he gave me goosebumps with that ending! The notes he chose were unexpected, and he hit some high notes there. Wow...blown away! Absolutely loved this performance! I'm so glad he ended up on Adam's team. Adam wanted him so badly!
Chair Turns: 4

Cassandra Robertson
Strong, deep soulful voice.

Team Blake

Morgan Frazier, 22
Well, what do you know...yet another country singer. I like her interesting take on "I Want You To Want Me". I've never heard a version like that before. I actually really liked it. She sang it so beautifully.
Chair Turns: 2 (Gwen and Blake)

Chris Crump, 31
He's so cute! Plus, he plays guitar, so bonus! Interesting voice! He has a very unique and different sound. He seems really original. I loved this performance! Loved, loved, loved it! I love the song, and I love the way he sang it. A definite favorite right here!
Chair Turns: 4

Tyler Dickerson, 21
That hair is out of this world! Another really surprising, yet very awesome performance! He also took it old-school, and he killed it! He had alittle bit of country twang in his voice. The chorus was awesome, and those long held out high notes were so strong! Great performance style and very engaging. He reminds me a little bit of Caleb Johnson, who won American Idol a couple seasons ago. I literally cannot believe that Blake was the only person to turn around for him! Adam - what is wrong with you?!
Chair Turns: 1

Team Gwen

Jeffery Austin, 24
Whoa, I did not expect him to sound exactly like Sam Smith! That was very surprising! He has a really great voice, and such a nice and clear tone. He totally blew me away with the chorus. He has a really strong range...very impressive.
Chair Turns: 1 (Gwen)

Lyndsey Elm, 22
What an interesting version of this song. The judges quickly saw her talent and quickly turned around. I think she has a nice voice, and the arrangement was interesting, but I can't say I was totally blown away.
Chair Turns: 4

Team Pharrell

Madi Davis, 16
Yuck! I hate that song, and I don't care for how she sang it at all. I can see why they liked her, but not my style at all.
Chair Turns: 2 (Gwen and Pharrell)

Riley Biederer
We didn't see much of her, but I really liked her voice! Maybe a little bit too much vibrato though...hopefully it was just the nerves.

Daria Jazmin
Didn't really see enough to form much of an opinion. What I did see sounded kind of over-the-top.

Jubal and Amanda
We haven't seen a duo in a long time on this show! Their voices blend very well. Very nice performance. Big night for them, as Jubal proposed to Amanda, and of course, she said yes.
Chair Turns: 2 (Gwen, Pharrell)

Dancing with the Stars, Ep. 21.4

Theme: TV Theme Songs
Guest Judge: Alfonso Ribeiro
4 judges = 40 points possible this week

Carlos & Witney - Jazz
"Thank You for Being a Friend" from The Golden Girls

Look at them so old! Haha!!! They look so different, you would never know it was them. It's just so cute! It's really weird to see "old" folks dancing like that! It reminds me of the routine that Val did a few seasons ago with the walkers.
Score: 31

Paula & Louis - Samba
Theme from Gilligan's Island

Of course she would be Lovey...but she really thought she should be Mary Ann (who happened to be in the audience)...um...no. The best thing about this dance was the visual effects! There was a storm and rain and lightning..it was really cool! They even had other dancers dressed up to play the parts of the rest of the characters. I didn't really see any Samba, and I was too in awe of the fun visual effects to even notice her dancing.
Score: 20

Big Brother, Ep. 17.40: Finale

Tonight we will find out who the winner of Big Brother 17 is. It will be either Vanessa, Steve, or Liz. We have the final 3-part HOH, which will determine who gets to make the decision of who to bring with them to the final 2. Then the jury will get to ask some questions and then they will decide who should win the $500,000.

Of course I wanted Johnny Mac to win, just because he's been the most entertaining player. I'm hoping that he will easily win the Fan Favorite award. So, who should win? Well, Vanessa has played the "best" game - she's won a lot of competitions, and she has manipulated everyone in order for her plans to be carried out...and no one had the guts to stop her! For that, I think she deserves to win. However, her constant whining, crying, and playing the victim made her a rather unlikable player. If the jury respects gameplay, she will win easily. If they are at all bitter for the way they were treated and played, it could very well go to someone else. I actually would kind of like to see Vanessa win just to make Austin mad. Steve has played an OK game. He's won some competitions, but he's also made some really stupid moves and decisions (e.g., the double eviction nomination fiasco, putting up his alliance member Johnny Mac, etc.). I'm not sure what he's done is worthy of the win. As for Liz, she was a part of a really strong alliance, and she won some key competitions. I don't know that she did anything outstanding that is deserving of the win.

Where we stand now, Vanessa and Steve have promised each other to choose the other to go to the finals over Liz. Secretly, neither of them plan to honor this Day 2 alliance, and both in fact, plan to take Liz to the final 2, because she will be easier to beat.

HOH Comp: Part 1

Survivor, Ep. 31.1

I'm so excited for Survivor!!! I think this is going to be a great season! This time around, it's all about 2nd chances. Each are playing for their 2nd time, and we will revisit challenges some of them have faced in the past. Will there be a Redemption Island, since this is kind of all about "redemption"? What other twists will we see? I can't wait to find out! And we're off to Cambodia!

The survivors arrive and there is no clear-cut color scheme to their clothes, so how will they be split into tribes? Jeff meets them and they are split into 4 boats. The first 2 boats are one tribe, and the other tribe is the 2nd 2 boats. I was kind of hoping for a schoolyard pick to see who wanted who.

Tribes:

Bayon
Ciera Eastin
Kass McQuillen
Kimmi Kappenberg
Monica Padilla
Tasha Fox
Andrew Savage
Jeremy Collins
Joe Anglim
Keith Nale
Stephen Fishbach
Ta Keo
Abi-Maria Gomes
Kelley Wentworth
Kelly Wiglesorth
Peih-Gee Law
Shirin Oskooi
Jeff Varner
Spencer Bledsoe
Terry Dietz
Vytas Baskauskas
Woo Hwang

Race for Supplies
They have to gather as many supplies as they can from one boat. There is a 2nd boat that has a large bag of rice, and the first person to reach it wins it for their tribe.

Spencer makes it to the boat first, followed by Joe and everyone else scrambling like mad to climb into the boat. Spencer got a bunch of chickens. Joe went for fruit .Probst is in the wrong place and is getting hit in the head and pushed around. Get out of there Jeff!

Ta Keo is on the boat and releases and heads to the rice. The 2nd boat is not far behind. Kelly Wiglesworth, like in the 1st season is swimming ahead of the boat! She is going faster than the raft. Joe takes off after her to try to beat her...he just passed her up! But where did Woo come from?! Woo makes it first and he wins the rice for Ta Keo.

Dancing with the Stars, Ep. 21.3

This week, we have 2 nights of dancing! Last night we (thankfully) said goodbye to Chaka Khan. Someone else will be leaving tonight. Who will it be? Gary Busey was in jeopardy last night, but somehow, I don't think he will be going anywhere. People love his soundbites, so I'm sure we'll be seeing more of his craziness. I'm guessing they only had him in jeopardy last night because his scores the week before were pretty low.

I have to say that I think it's really unfair to make them learn 2 dances this week...it's still so early and they are really just learning, so forcing them to learn 2 is just really ridiculous.

Tonight's theme is: "Hometown Glory", just like last night, but this time it is the pros' hometowns. As much as we know of some of these pros, it's nice to get to see a little bit more about their personal lives and where they come from. Yes, it's about the celebs, but the pros deserve some love and attention sometimes, too!

Hayes & Emma - Quickstep
Tamworth, England

I love this song! It's so peppy and perfect for the Quickstep. I'm so glad they played the original track and didn't have the band butcher it. Hayes is proving that he can do everything really well. He didn't seem to struggle with this at all. That was a very quick Quickstep, and he didn't miss a beat. He looked so happy, like he was loving every minute. What a great routine!
Score: 23

Carlos & Witney - Cha Cha
American Fork, UT

Nice routine. Strangely, I forgot I was supposed to be watching Carlos and was watching Witney most of the time (maybe because this is about her hometown). What I saw was well done.
Score: 21

Gary & Anna - Paso Doble
Chelyabinsk, Russia

Oh my, Gary trying to be some kind of knight or king or something! Totally not convincing. This was...well...interesting. I saw pretty much nothing in that dance that looked like Paso Doble! Glad Carrie Ann agreed. Yes, he had some stomping, but wow, there wasn't much else.
Score: 15

Andy & Allison - Contemporary
Los Angeles, CA (originally from Utah)

Allison is right at home doing a Contemporary piece, so I think this is going to be amazing. I'm disappointed they didn't use the original track of this song...kind of ruined it for me. There were some really great lifts. I think he really held his own in this dance. The hop over her was a little flat, but other than that, it was a really good performance.
Score: 23

The Voice, Ep. 9.2

Night 2 of the Battle Rounds

Team Adam

Regina Love, 51
She's your classic big-voiced diva. She doesn't bring anything new to the table that we haven't seen hundreds of time. Sure, she can sing, but beyond the loudness of her voice, I didn't hear anything outstanding. It was just mediocre for me. And of course, she picks Adam.
Chair Turns: 2 (Adam, Blake)

James Dupré, 30
Another country singer, seriously?! This is getting a bit old. But OK, he has a really good voice. His voice is not what you would expect. His upper register was especially beautiful. That was a really nice performance! ...even if it was country.
Chair Turns: 4

Team Blake

Blind Joe, 32
I didn't expect that voice. It's country, but he's good. His nerves might have gotten to him a little bit, as it was shaky in some spots. I'm not sure why he sat with the guitar, because I don't think he played it at all.
Chair Turns: 4 (Pharrell and Gwen waited until the very last second)

Zach Seabaugh, 16
OK, so this guy does not look 16! His deep speaking voice doesn't sound 16 either. Good-looking kid...too bad he sings country. I do like the song he picked, though - it's one of the few country songs I like. Boy, he has a beautiful voice! This is a hard song to sing and sound good on, and he sounds extremely close to the original. I can't believe no one is turning around! Come on! Finally...whew! This guy was too good to not turn around!
Chair Turns: 3 (Adam, Blake, Pharrell)

Emily Ann Roberts, 16
What is with all the country singers already this season?! And of course she does a song we hear ALL the time "I Hope You Dance". She has a beautiful voice, and she had a nice high falsetto at the end. She's so cute!
Chair Turns: 2 (Adam, Blake)

Team Gwen

Ellie Lawrence, 26
I do not care for her pukey green/blue hair at all. I will say that I am surprised by her voice. I actually liked her voice a lot. She sounds like someone I should know, but I can't quite put my finger on it.  I think it's a combination of Lorde and Tove Lo. She is really interesting and I think she could be fun to watch.
Chair Turns: 3 (Adam, Gwen, Pharrell)

Noah Jackson
I really wish we would have gotten to hear his whole audition, because it sounds like he did a really cool version of Sia's "Elastic Heart".

Tim Atlas
I would have loved to see his audition, too.

Hannah Ashbrook

Team Pharrell

Ivonne Acero, 17
She tried out last season and didn't get any chairs to turn. I remember thinking she would get a chair last time. This season she only had to sing a few words of a Taylor Swift song and Gwen and Pharrell turned around. This was a very interesting version of "Style". It was a little too overdramatic, but she has a great voice.
Chair Turns: 2 (Gwen, Pharrell)

Evan McKeel, 20
I don't know what to think about him. I didn't know the song he sang, and I just kept expecting it to go somewhere. I don't really think it was super good, so I'm really surprised that he got all 4 to turn around. I don't know, I didn't hear what they heard apparently.
Chair Turns: 4

Dancing with the Stars, Ep. 21.2

The theme this week is "Hometown Glory" - an ode to the celebrity's hometowns. Not only are they all dancing Monday night, but Tuesday night too! There is also an elimination after the first dance.

Nick & Sharna - Jive
Tampa, FL - "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy", and he dedicated it to his favorite teacher

They were so in sync! All his lines were so sharp and crisp. It was a fun dance with a cool theme to match the song. He started out in pajamas and in a bed, but that quickly changed. Unfortunately, his shoes slipped and he went down a little bit. Because of the camera angle I wasn't quite sure if he meant to do that or not because he went right back into character and the dance. The pajamas and shoes kind of threw off his head a little I think, so I agree with the judges. But the props and slip aside, I thought the actual dance he did well and I thought he nailed the style.
Score: 21

Paula & Louis - Rumba
Savannah, GA - "Midnight Train to Georgia"

She actually looked really pretty in this dance. I was a little bit worried about her doing a pasionate Rumba. For the most part, it was pretty tame, but she actually put her leg up on him, which really surprised me. Her heels were too big, and she lost her balance. If he wasn't holding her, she would have surely gone down because he let her go for a spin and he just kept spinning until he grabbed her. It was better than last week, but obviously, she still has a lot of work to do.
Score: 19

Hayes & Emma - Foxtrot
Mooresville, NC - "This is How We Roll"; this song reminds him of his mom, and let's just say at the end of this, everyone was in tears! His love and connection with his mom is so sweet!

OK, I think the Foxtrot and country music are a complete oxymoron! This was so weird! He rides out on a motorcycle, there's a slow, twangy country song playing, and they are dancing to a proper ballroom Foxtrot. Just weird! He danced it very well, and it was impressive. But wow, that was such a weird combination.
Score: 22

Chaka & Keo - Foxtrot
Chicago, IL - "Chicago"

She again missed some steps and movements. She lagged behind Keo and was just trying to mimic what he was doing. Some of the time, she looked like she was just walking, versus dancing. She's still got a lot of work to do.
Score: 15

The Voice, Ep. 9.1

Season 9 is here! I'm excited for another great season of discovering new talent. Our coaches this season are: Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams.

Let's get to the first round of Blind Auditions, and find out who the coaches pick for their teams.

Team Adam

Keith Semple, 33
Cute Irish guy! Ooh, he's playing guitar, so you know I'm going to love him! Beautiful voice! He sang a classic rock song, and it was awesome. He rocked it and has a really strong vocal range. He's been a part of bands in the past, but it's clear that he can be a very successful solo act.
Chair Turns: 2 (Adam, Gwen)

Jordan Smith
You're brave if you tackle Sia's "Chandelier", and boy did he tackle it! I totally got goosebumps. And get this..we started out like the coaches...only hearing the voice. Without a doubt, I thought this was a black woman. The hugest surprise when they show this white guy with glasses and a flanel shirt! Talk about surprises! Shock aside, his voice was absolutely stunning! He seems to not know exactly how good he is, but he has an amazing message and outlook on life.
Chair Turns: 4

Team Blake

Nadjah Nicole, 23
She had a pretty decent performance. I think she was holding back a little bit at first, but she kind of let loose at the end.
Chair Turns: 2 (Adam, Blake)

Barrett Baber, 35
He's got a great story, and a really strong country voice. Because it was pretty country, he wasn't my favorite, but he does have a good voice. He ended up on the right team, that's for sure.
Chair Turns: 4

Team Gwen

Kota Wade, 23
She has a decent voice, but she sounds pretty ordinary. I did not care for her outfit or her hair color at all.
Chair Turns: 3 (Blake, Pharrell, Gwen)

Braiden Sunshine, 15
Is this the Sawyer Fredericks of this season? He's kind of quirky from a small town, just like Sawyer was. For 15, his voice is so polished. His high notes that he held out were just beautiful! He is a very special kid. I can't believe it took so long for someone to turn around! Gwen and Pharrell waited until the very last second!
Chair Turns: 2 (Gwen, Pharrell)

Team Pharrell

Mark Hood, 24
He has such a fun and energetic personality. It's infectious! He has a very interesting style. It's kind of old school with a new flavor. He had a lot of runs, but I agree with Pharrell that he sold it. It was done very tastefully. He has some mad skills! He originally said he wanted Blake to be his coach, but he ended up picking Pharrell.
Chair Turns; 4

Siahna Im, 15
What a strange, interesting, and cute girl. She's part Korean, but she kind of has a southern accent. She is so meek when she talks, and then she comes out with this deep soulful voice on  "Fever". Talk about two completely different sides to her from the performer side of her to her normal speaking personality. She really showed some attitude as well, which is not how she came across in her video package. I think she could go far.
Chair Turns: 3 (Blake, Pharrell, Gwen)

Big Brother, Ep. 17.39

Final 2 Deals
Vanessa gives her word to Steve that she does not have a final 2 with Liz. She swears she doesn't and those words never came out of her mouth. Lies. Steve told her she would be dumb not to have and he doesn't hold it against her. He's not buying it. Vanessa tells him they need to win it so they can be final 2. Steve knows it would be dumb to go to the finals with a strong player who's won a bunch of comps and made big moves. He knows his only chance to win is to go against Liz. So to break this down: Steve and Vanessa have a final 2 deal. To each other's faces they swear to this deal. Meanwhile, each of them fully intend to bring Liz with them to final 2 should one of them win HOH. This should be interesting!

Season Recap - Trip Down Memory Lane
Nothing to recap here, as the final 3 recap the entire season. My favorite highlight: Steve and John's #Nerdmance. I wish we would have seen more of that this season instead of Liztin. I'm still mad at Steve for putting John on the block...which led to him being evicted. I also loved Clay's mumbling, James chasing Meg, James and his scaring stunts, and the never-before-seen Diary Room segment

HOH - Part 1
Sit and swing on a candy apple. They get dunked in goo and slammed into a wall. Winner moves on to Part 3, losers compete in Part 2.

Too bad they wasted soooo much time on recapping the season, and we only get to see the very beginning of the competition. Basically all 3 parts of the HOH will be crammed into the 90-minute finale on Wednesday...along with the jury voting and catch-up with all the houseguests.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.38

Post Eviction
Shocker! Vanessa is a crying mess! She is sobbing uncontrollably, and Liz is not. She wants everyone to know how hard of a decision it was for her because he was her best friend in the house...wah wah wah.

Vanessa has some damage control to do with Liz. She has to make her see why she did what she did and why she couldn't know about it beforehand. The whole conversation turned into a sobbing mess back and forth between both of them. It was one of the most annoying conversations to watch/listen to. Vanessa tried to explain to her why this was the best move for Liz also. Liz realizes that as much as she hates it, she has to work with Vanessa because she is all she has in the game now.

Vanessa asks John if he thinks they can convince Steve to throw the Veto. She makes a final 2 deal with Liz and with John because she knows she can't go to the final 3 with both of them since Steve won HOH.

Nominations
Steve STUPIDLY nominates John and Vanessa. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. He should have put up the girls. He said he is glad Vanessa has kept him safe in the game, but he still doesn't trust her and he knows he can't beat her in the final 2.

Veto Competition
Let me just say, I know what happens, and I'm so not happy about it!

Look who it is! Beastmode Cowboy! It's Caleb from last season! They are all dressed up in karate outfits. They will be told events from the season and they have to punch or kick their target to move the counter to select the day in the season that the event took place. Last one to get it right in each round gets 1 strike. If they get 2 strikes, they are out.

Round 1: On what day did Clay win his only competition? - Day 38
-- Liz gets 1 strike

Round 2: On what day did Shelli complete her 2400 swordsman regimen? - Day 46
-- Liz gets her 2nd strike and is out

Round 3: On what day did Zingbot enter the Big Brother house? - Day 66
-- Steve gets 1 strike

Round 4: On what day was Meg put on the block for the 2nd time? - Day 23
-- Steve gets his 2nd strike and is out

Round 5: On what day did Frankie Grande enter the Big Brother house? - Day 86
-- John is last and gets 1 strike

Round 6: On what day was the 6th nomination ceremony? - Day 44
-- John is last and gets his 2nd strike and is out

That means Vanessa won Veto. Barf! Again, Johnny Mac is so close to winning! So, my question is: did Steve throw it? It sure seems like he didn't based on how upset he was and how he really got stuck on that last question. BUT, from the live feeds, Steve had a complete meltdown in the HOH room. He cried to the camera that he couldn't believe that he threw the competition to Vanessa. He thinks he lost the game because he let Vanessa get to him and he chickened out and let her win. He told his mom he was so sorry that he did it, and he just kept saying over and over again how he could have won the game, but he lost it now because he knows he can't beat Vanessa. He said the plan was working perfectly for him to go to final 3 with John and Liz and then from there either he or John were likely to win the final HOH and he knows that he would take John and John would have taken him. Now, that can't happen and he is beyond devastated. So, I'm not really sure what happened there because what we saw, it really didn't look like he threw it at all. And it didn't even come down to him and Vanessa as the last 2, so he couldn't have really thrown it to her because John was still in it. I'm confused.

Veto Ceremony/Eviction
Vanessa obviously uses the Veto to save herself. Liz goes on the block and Vanessa is now the only person to vote someone out. I hate this! John just needed that win so badly. Vanessa would be smart to take him over Liz because Liz has Julia and Austin as votes from the jury. John is not likely to beat any of them, so he would be the perfect person to take to final 3 and final 2. However, the word on the street is that Vanessa is too nervous about having John and Steve as a pair to gang up on her in the final HOH competition. Liz is the only one she can be sure of to take to the final 2.

So, Vanessa votes out Johnny Mac and tells him that she thought about the offers he made her and she can't believe them completely because it means that he would be willing to go back on a game-long alliance with Steve. And if he's willing to do that, how can she trust what he was promising her. Good logic, but I'm still super bummed.

John wasn't too shocked to be out. He knew if he didn't win Veto he was probably gone. He said he didn't really believe he had a final 2 with Vanessa. He said if he had won, he would have sent her packing also. Haha!

I love watching John in interviews...he is so hilarious! #LoveJohnnyMac

So, this game is pretty much all Vanessa's at this point. If she can win the final HOH, she wins this game hands down. If she doesn't, she is going to have to work pretty hard to convince either Steve or Liz to bring her to the final 2. It's a long shot, but Vanessa can convince and manipulate like I've never seen anyone else be able to do. She really is amazing. She turns on the tears and starts talking really fast, and they all believe every word she says and will do anything she tells them to. It's like she puts a spell on them. Deep down, they know exactly what she is doing, but they seem powerless to do anything about it. It really is amazing. I mean Derrick last season was amazing and he was running the show, but his game was more subtle and behind the scenes. Vanessa is in charge and it is completely obvious, yet no one will do anything about it.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.37

I'm so ready to see Austin waking out the door tonight! Oh wait, what's that? You haven't read the spoilers? #SorryNotSorry

Nomination Aftermath
Steve and Johnny Mac can't believe that Vanessa turned on them. Vanessa said that Johnny Mac is her target because he hasn't won competitions. She feels that someone who loses comps will get taken to final 3 over her, who is a strong competitor. Vanessa cried to Steve about her decision...again...making this all about her. She assured him that he wasn't going home this week.

John said he would be fine going to final 3 with Austin and Liz, even if it meant he came in 3rd. It's better than coming in 5th place. He told Austin that he would throw the Veto to him. Austin is blown away - he said "Either Johnny Mac has lost his marbles, or become one with Judas". Austin immediately tells Vanessa and Liz. They can't believe what they are hearing. I'm so glad I know what happens in this competition, or I would be really scared right now!

Dancing with the Stars, Ep. 21.1

I'm so excited for this season! Let's get right to it!

One thing I noticed right away is that for some reason, it seems like all the dances are like 30 seconds long. They are so short! You can barely tell what they can do in that short amount of time. Overall there were quite a few really, really good performances. There were a lot of really, really bad dances...like more than the normal amount.

Victor & Karina - Salsa
Oh my Victor! He's a funny little guy! It's obvious he's not going to have the greatest rhythm and timing, so they decided to go right for the obvious horse racing themed dance. He had some wild hips going! In the video package they talked about his lack of short-term memory, but he remembered the whole dance. This was kind of a wild loosy-goosy performance, but it was entertaining. It did need a little bit more of the salsa though.
Score:15

Tamar & Val - Quickstep
I have a feeling she is really going to get on my nerves this season. Personality aside, she pulled off a very ambitious quickstep on the first week out. That is almost no fair to make her tackle one of the hardest styles on her first week. However, she did a great job and there were a lot of steps and they were done pretty accurately from what I could tell.
Score: 23

Chaka & Keo - Cha Cha
I so enjoy watching Keo dance...Chaka not so much. She looked prety lost getting started. She found her way a little bit, but she got off time and kind of looked at him lost for a few seconds. Basically just picture Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight before her...all on about the same level. I didn't see much of a Cha Cha there.
Score: 13

Hayes & Emma - Cha Cha
I love the school theme...which is pretty obvious for the "Cheerleader" song - which, by the way was really butchered by the DWTS band. What little bit we saw, it looks like he's got a lot of potential. Did we have any doubts? You look at him and you just assume he's probably pretty good at anything he tries.
Score: 21

Andy & Allison - Foxtrot
I love everything about Andy, so I'm so excited to see him this season! I hate that the band butchered the song "Marvin Gaye". He was so classy and it looks like he's going to be really good at the ballroom dances. He seemed very confident. I wish we could see more! The dance is just so short! I like the two of them together - they make a very nice pair.
Score: 21

Paula & Louis - Quickstep
If I hear her say "move your body" one more time, I'm going to go nuts! She burped in his face! Come on Paula, seriously...get serious about this! Of course her first dance would be cooking themed. Louis really has his hands full with her...and that's not just because she grabbed his head and told him to put it on her boobs 5 seconds after meeting him. Surprisingly, she did better than I thought she would. After the dance she said she was scared and she had white underwear before but she's not sure if it's white any more. OK, TMI! I just can't handle her, I'm sorry.
Score: 15

Carlos & Witney - Jive
I hate the hair with a passion, but we've got a contender here! For the first weeek, his footwork was great. He's got a ton of charisma that's going to be fun to watch. His musicality is great and his personality really came through in the dance.
Score: 23

Alexa & Mark - Jive
Same dance as her husband Carlos. I don't think she looked as natural as he did. Her footwork was a little eratic. They seemed to be a little out of sync at times. Overall, I think she definitely has potential, but I I think her husband won this round.
Score: 22

Kim & Tony - Salsa
I will be ready for her to go any time...definitely not a favorite. This was the slowest salsa I think I've ever seen. On the positive side, I liked Tony's costume. Other than that, I didn't see a whole lot of anything in this dance. I'm hoping the scores reflect that.
Score: 12

Bindi & Derek - Jive
How cute is Bindi? She's such an amazing girl and this is going to be so much fun to watch, and being paired with Derek is just so perfect. That cute Australian accent is just so cute, I could listen to it all day. I love Derek trying to get it down. They are just so cute together. I had no doubt that she would be amazing. Her personality just fills the room and her smile is contagious. You have to smile when you see her. She kind of reminds me of Sadie Robertson. It's the same kind of youthful exuberance that is just so undeniable. The dance was just loaded with steps, just like Derek to not hold back anything week 1. She was in sync with him the whole way. She raises the bar way high with that routine. Just great! She is going to win over everyone and she is going to be here for awhile. She was already lucky to have Derek as her partner, but she is so likable and talented, so she has finale written all over her.
Score: 24 (I really thought we might see some 9s there)

Gary & Anna - Cha Cha
I just have to say that my prayers are with Anna this season. I don't know if she knows what she's gotten herself into with him. Gary is a HUGE personality and he is way out there most of the time. She will be doing good just to get through the dance with him. As we've seen on The Apprentice, it idoesn't take much to get him totally distracted. This dance was exactly what I expected from him. A lot of mouthing along with the words in the song (the wrong words), and a lot of pretty slow, stiff movements. It could have been much worse, but it could have been much better. He sure is entertaining though! He also graced us with one of his famous Buseyisms after his dance! How did I forget about his Buseyisms?! "FUN = Finally Understanding Nothing" - classic Busey; "15 = 6 which is double trinity"...he could just keep going with these all day!
Score: 15

Alek & Lindsay - Foxtrot
He is such a likable guy and he's got a great story. He was very smooth and performed the dance really well. I think they make a really nice couple. I enjoyed that!
Score: 22

Nick & Sharna - Cha Cha
And now, the one I've been dying to see! I'm a Backstreet Boys girl til I die, so I'm so excited to have Nick be a part of this season! I'll just say this once right now for any doubters: if you don't think he and the rest of the Backstreet Boys are still relevant and are not still making awesome music, you would be completely wrong! They are still very much together and they are still making great music, while all others have long since spit up and gone their separate ways. There, rant over. I am so incredibly jealous of Sharna right now! I would die! I love the silhoutte at teh beginning! Was there any doubt that he was going to be completely amazing? I didn't doubt if ro one second. The Backstreet Boys do a lot of dancing, so I knew he would bring it! This dancing is way different than what he's used to, but he killed it! He's going to be a lot like his brother Aaron who was on several seasons ago...he's going to be able to add his own little flare to the routines and make the moves his own.
Score: 24

Week 1 Leaderboard

Bindi & Derek - 24
Nick & Sharna - 24
Carlos & Witney - 23
Tamar & Val - 23
Alek & Lindsay - 22
Alexa & Mark - 22
Andy & Allison - 21
Hayes & Emma - 21
Gary & Anna - 15
Paula & Louis - 15
Victor & Karina - 15

Big Brother, Ep. 17.36

HOH Competition, continued
I had really high hopes for Johnny Mac in this competition. Unfortunately, it is Vanessa who comes out with the win. She dropped an egg on her 8th, but she maintained her lead over Johnny Mac, and Austin wasn't too far behind. Liz was so far behind, so she decided to go for the luxury prize.

Nomination Plans...aka "Who is Lying?"

Big Brother, Ep. 17.35

Liz or Julia, who will go? Obviously, Liz is the bigger target, and she is more closely aligned with Austin. So...clearly, Julia should stay and Liz should go. So...most likely the opposite is going to happen. And that's exactly what the recaps of the live feeds is suggesting. Grrr...

Where We Left Off
The twins are both on the block, and they both can't stop crying and sniffing in every room of the house...and even by the pool! Austin was Steve's target, but he feels good about splitting up the pair. Vanessa and John are convinced the best move is to vote out Liz because she's the strongest and would still have Austin if she stayed. With Austin voting to keep Liz, Vanessa is the swing vote.

Austin and Liz are on to Vanessa making final 2 deals with everyone in the house. Julia is willing to give up her game for Liz so that she can stay and fight, because she knows she has a better shot of winning. Austin said he would talk to Vanessa to make it happen.

Vanessa told the twins that they should decide who they want to stay and she would honor their wishes. After the Austwins decide that they want Liz to stay, they tell Vanessa. She says that she will have to see what Steve wants. And because they didn't decide the way she wanted them to...which was to vote out Liz and keep Julia...she now has a list of 3 demands that she wants from them. (1) if either of them wins HOH, she doesn't want to be nominated in the original set of nominations (frontdoor), and if she has to go up as a replacement that she will be safe and will be going to final 4 with them (2) if nominations stay the same, she gets to choose who goes home, Steve or Johnny Mac (3) if she ends up in the final 3 with either of them, she needs to know that they will choose her to go to the finals. Are you kidding me?! Ridiculous demands! She says "seems fair, right?" Wow. Clearly, they will tell her whatever they want to hear, but they have 0% intentions to follow through with those ridiculous demands. Normally, this would just be completely insane to demand, but hey, Vanessa has been able to coerce the twins to do all kinds of things, so why not give it a try.

The Votes
Austin -- Julia
Vanessa -- Julia
Johnny Mac -- Julia (and again, Johnny has me cracking up...the say he said Ju...li...A was hilarious!)

And it is proven yet again, just how dumb these people are!

HOH Competition
Go Johnny Mac!!! Pleeeeeeease!!!!

"Under the Rainbow" - maneuver the eggs through the course and get 10 into their holders. So, yes, this is a repeat comp that's been done several years in a row now. This one is shaped like a rainbow, so they have to go up and over, which could be tricky. There's also a luxury prize that someone will win a trip outside of the BB house.

I like Johnny Mac's odds for this because I think he has tiny fingers! Not to mention he plays bass and he's a dentist, so he should be really good with his hands. Austin will probably be the worst, because I think he would have big hands. And it's Liz who loses 2 eggs right off the bat. Ha! Somehow, Austin is actually doing better than I thought. He's in the lead, followed by Vanessa. Julie mentions the obstacle after they make the arch, and Austin's like "Obstacle??" #clueless

I hate that this is a "to be continued" comp. Luckily there's Twitter to find out what happens in real time :)

UPDATE/SPOILER ALERT:
At 10:40 PM, Vanessa won HOH :( Johnny Mac was a close 2nd. Liz won the luxury reward, because let's face it, she was doing horrible. I think she only ended up with like 5 eggs.

So, what is Vanessa going to do? She has an alliance with everyone. She's a smart girl, I hope she realizes that she has a better shot against Johnny Mac and Steve than she does with Austin and Liz. With Steve and Johnny she has a chance at final 2...she doesn't if both Austin and Liz stay in the game. We'll see.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.34

Nomination Aftermath
The twins are annoying. The twins crying and sobbing and whining "oh woe is me" are 10x more annoying. Make it stop! The second Liz gets on the block, she immediately gives up all hope. She acts like she's dying. It's so ridiculous! And to say she considered Steve a friend, and she would never do that to him? Really?! Are you kidding me?!

Pre-Veto
Austin asks Steve if there is anything he can help him with this week. Ha! Steve can't wait to chop his head off at the end of the week.

Austin thinks they should throw the Veto to Julia, that way she will be safe, and can take one of them off the block and force Steve to put up either John or Vanessa.

Steve wants anyone but Julia to win.

Veto Competition
No draws for players this week because we are at the final 6, so everyone is playing. Steve points out that this competition is the same one played in Season 15 that split up McCrae and Amanda. And now Liz and Austin are in the same spot.

It is the return of everyone's least favorite houseguest that will NEVER go away: Jesse, aka "Mr. Pectacular". Of course Liz and Julia would think he's hot and be drooling all over him. Yuck!!

And did I mention everyone is in tutus? Oh Johnny Mac! Lol!

The competition is to spin around really fast, and then try to knock down 4 pins. They have 15 seconds. If their time runs out, they have to spin again.

Match 1: Steve vs. Liz -- Liz wins

Julia's name was drawn next. The plan was for her to challenge John. Vanessa whispers to her to pick Austin. She picks Austin, and everyone is like "What?!" She is eliminating one of her own. Austin couldn't believe it. He asked if this was a setup. He thinks he is being played by his girlfriend and her sister. He thinks it could be a whole-house conspiracy with him as the target this week. He is bamboozled! John said Vanessa would be a genius for this to work and it did! Vanessa told Liz this was her best-case scenario, because her worst-case scenario would be for Austin to win.

Match 2: Julia vs. Austin -- Austin wins
He went into Judas mode to kick her butt.

John chooses to go up against Liz. His strategy is to spin slower so he doesn't get as dizzy.

Match 3: John vs. Liz -- John wins
In one time out, John gets his 4 pins!!!

Vanessa chooses to go against Austin. He sees nothing but red and he says he is going to destroy her....as he starts crawling on his hands and knees like an ape. Ha!

Match 4: Vanessa vs. Austin -- Austin wins

Match 5 - Final: John vs. Austin -- Austin wins

Austin struts around saying "Judas is here! You should be afraid!" Go sit down, you big buffoon.

Veto Aftermath
Liz confronts Julia about her stupid move. She couldn't believe what she did. Next came Austin yelling at her. Their plan was perfect because they were going to throw it to her. She said she doesn't know why she did it, and she wished she wouldn't have listened to Vanessa.

Vanessa did damage control to tell the twins that Julia going against Austin was the best plan. Liz said if she would have picked John, he would have had to go twice in a row and would have been eliminated. Vanessa wasn't getting anywhere, so she resorted to tears and sobbing. She would never go against them or try to trick them because she's not an evil person. She said Austin may have said he was going to throw the comp to Julia, but Vanessa doesn't think he would have done that because it wasn't in his best interest.

Vanessa told Julia that Austin has talked about splitting up the twins to further himself in the game. She said she has so much stuff on Austin that she could say.

Austin confronted Julia again and Julia told him what Vanessa said about Austin. He is fed up with Vanessa's games. He accused her of knowing the plan to pick him from the beginning. He tells Julia that she sealed her own fate. She sobs and leaves the room. She said she's done with everything and she is going to leave with integrity and her head held high. Yeah, you look pretty down in the dumps right now, Miss Debbie Downer.

Austin confronts Vanessa. She tells him she thinks he's a piece of shit right now. She doesn't think that he would have thrown the Veto. She said it took everything she had not to divulge all the info she has on him. Austin said he did what he could to save all 3 girls. He was really mad at her, but he was trying to play nice. Austin said he hates being the one who is ultimately going to be putting Julia up against Liz, by taking himself off the block. Vanessa jokes that he wouldn't have to use the Veto. Sorry, Vanessa, your tomfoolery may have bamboozled a twin, but even Austin is smart enough not to fall for that.

Austin talks to Liz and all she can do is sob. He says he sacrificed his game away for her because he fell in love with her. He says he gave up a girl back at home for her. She said she thought they were on the rocks and he was going to break up with her anyway, not just for her. He said she was the reason that he officially made that decision. She was seriously mad at him and he couldn't believe that she could be mad at him after all he's done for her. She thinks he was gloating in the bathroom about winning Veto. Julia was mad that he was wearing the Veto around the house, as if he was just rubbing it in their faces.

Julia decided to take Austin's stuff and throw it across the room. She said he's disgusting, ugly and not that cute. Liz said without the ponytail beard, he's kind of cute. Ha! I'm with Julia on that one!

Veto Meeting
I really thought Austin might use the Veto to save Liz...he's just that stupid. But, he didn't, he saved himself.

Steve hated to do it, but he put up Julia next to her sister. FINALLY!!! One of the twins will be going home this week! Woohoo!!!

Austin was Steve's target, but splitting up the twins is huge at this point in the game.

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 5.12: Finale

Carly/Kirk Devastation Fallout
The entire cast of paradise is still reeling from the event of Carly and Kirk's breakup. The girls are all sticking by Carly and saying that Kirk shouldn't have done what he did. They are all emotional. All of the guys think that this could get in the girls' heads and affect each of their own dates. They might all wonder if that could happen to them.

Tonight, the roses mean that they are committed to a relationship on the outside. It's going to be tense, and there will most likely be some broken hearts.

Nick & Samantha
Nick thinks Samantha is sexy. He stares at her a lot. He's worried that the same thing that happened to Joe could happen to him. She reassures him that she is here sincerely for him. Um...the same way she was with Joe?

Nick's plan was to: meet Sam, date Sam, and leave with Sam. Wow, his plan was the exact same as Joe's...imagine that!

Outcome: Nick offers the rose and she accepts, she offers the rose and he accepts - they are both very happy and each think the other person is amazing and perfect

Justin & Cassandra
They haven't had a lot of time to spend with each other so far. Justin wants to get to know her more, and he's hoping she will accept the offer for the fantasy suite. She seems to want things to move a little more slowly, especially since she has her son to consider. She thinks that the fantasy suite at this point might not be appropriate.

Outcome: Justin offers the rose and she accepts, she offers the rose and he accepts - they are both looking forward to seeing where this goes

Joshua & Tenley
Tenley tells Joshua that she wants to be real with him. She doesn't want to make the same mistakes with him that she has in the past. Her history makes her very protective of her heart as well as his. She feels adored by him and wants to give him a chance to see where this can go.

Their only problem is that they live in different states. Tenley tells Joshua that there is maybe only one weekend that she will be able to go see him in September, and that's not a great way to start their relationship on the outside.

Outcome: Joshua says he would love to see what would happen with her after paradise (but didn't offer the rose). However, as much as she adores him, she hates that he lives in Idaho. That is such a huge part of his life. If they tried to make it work, they would eventually either just break up or one of them would have to decide to move. She was so conflicted and emotional. Such a sad ending for such a sweet girl! Ultimately, it came down to different lifestyles. We saw early on the questionable partying he tends to like, and that just isn't her.

Tanner & Jade
They are basically married already. They are so comfortable with each other. Jade does have some doubts, but basically only because of what happened to Carly so unexpectedly. Tanner tells her that he loves her and his feelings are real. She said that she often feels misunderstood, but he totally gets her and that blows her mind. She told him that she loves him too.

Outcome: Jade is the first to offer the rose, and he accepts. Tanner does NOT offer her a rose...but he actually proposes! (Shouldn't come as a shock to any of us who have read the spoilers.) After she says yes, he then also gives her the rose.

Tanner and Jade are engaged!!! They couldn't be a more cute couple.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.33

Double Eviction Aftermath
The house is officially split in half. Austin, Liz, and Julia on one side, and John, Steve, and Vanessa on the other.

Of course Vanessa is an emotional mess following James's eviction. She doesn't know what just happened. Really Vanessa? Tone it down drama queen.

John is glad that they decided to evict someone who was not aligned with anyone in order to save him, who is working with Steve and Vanessa.

Liz is a mess after almost losing her sister, and Austin comforts her. Austin tells her they must target Steve.

Austin asks Steve what he should do if he wins HOH. He says he doesn't want to put Steve up as a pawn, so he might have to put up Julia as a pawn. He's torn on what to do.

Vanessa told Austin that she can control Johnny Mac's vote to keep Austin if he would go up. Austin doesn't seem too worried because he says he has an alliance with every person in the house.

Vanessa tells Steve that now would be the time to go after the Austwins. Steve tells the camera that they are IDIOTS for keeping John and that they made the biggest mistakes of their lives.

HOH Competition

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.11

Ashley I.  & Jared
We left off with Ashley I. and Jared heading off to their overnight date. Will they or won't they? Well, I'm guessing they won't. Jared is not that into her.

Ashley pulls out the fantasy suite card. He was pretty quick to say that he would check it out with her. I still can't imagine that anything is going to happen.

So, they come back after the date, and the verdict is? They all think she is probably still a virgin. Carly thinks she might be even more of a virgin, if that's even possible.

Later, Jared said he was hoping that a night away with her would give him more clarity and he would feel something more. It just wasn't there, and he knows he has to have "that" conversation with her again. This just after Ashley says again, just how much in love she is with him. He knows this conversation isn't going to go well, and he is dreading having it. He said he hoped to come to paradise to find love. Even though he had a great time with her, and as much as they both want it to be there, he just doesn't think their connection is strong enough. She asked if he was going to leave tomorrow, and he said he thinks he's going to leave right now because it isn't right for him to stay here. Cue the overdramatic waterworks. She bawls and sobs again about how she didn't think she would find anyone there, and the one guy she fell in love with doesn't feel the same. He was sorry he made her cry, and she told him she was glad to find out that the whole package exists. She doesn't care about leaving there alone, she cares that she is leaving there without Jared, who is the most perfect guy she's ever met. She doesn't think anyone else like him exists.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.32

Double Eviction tonight!!! Eek! Let's all say a little prayer and cross our fingers that Johnny Mac wins HOH tonight! ...and that one or more members of the Austwins head to jury! Let's just hope that the Double Eviction is worthwhile this week, and not a total flop like last time (ahem...Steve).

#SaveMeg
James and Meg try to figure out how to flip the vote to Julia. Meg obviously has James's vote. They need 3 votes. Obviously Austin and Liz will vote Meg out, so it comes down to Johnny Mac and Steve. Vanessa wants Meg out, so that's a problem for John since he's working with her. So, they really need to also convince Vanessa that it's the right thing to do. Steve is so confused and wishy washy. One minute he thinks they should make the move, the next he thinks it's too risky. He was so distraught that he actually was physically sick. According to the feeds, he spent a LOT of time pacing alone and talking to himself and the cameras trying to decide what is best for his game. If they don't make a big move now, then when? You're almost out of time!

Big Brother, Ep. 17.31

Meg & James
Meg is a mess after being nominated. James tries his best to comfort her. Meg says "it's funny that we kept her", referring to Vanessa. Who didn't see that one coming?!

Veto Player Draw
Vanessa draws Julia
James draws Liz
Meg draws Austin

Veto Competition
First of all...what in the world is John wearing! LOL! That is hilarious! Can't wait to hear him hosting this game!

Each player is separated and will individually go into the house to hide veto cards. Then they will go back into the house and search for veto cards, and they have 2 minutes. They won't know whose cards they bring out because they all look the same. The person who hides their veto cards the best wins.

James thinks this is the perfect competition for him, Captain Camo, because he's so good at hiding himself in the house.

There are lots of people unzipping things like pillows, couch cushions, and duvet.

Round 1:
Meg is very close to the one hidden in the pillow cushion, but she doesn't unzip anything. - No Veto

Austin -- he tears apart everything and makes an absolute mess! - No Veto

James -- he also makes a very big mess; he gets close to the veto card hidden in the pizza box in the fridge. -- No Veto

Julia -- she is close to the one Vanessa hid in the couch cushion -- No Veto

Liz -- No Veto

Vanessa -- she finds the veto card that was hidden in the pizza box

Round 2:
Julia finds the veto hidden in the couch cushion hidden by Vanessa

Round 3:
Liz has OCD and hates messes. She seriously starts freaking out at how dirty the house is.

Meg  finds the veto card hidden in one of the cushions.

Round 4:
Austin tries to keep his card hidden (if it hasn't been found yet), so he tries to bunch up the duvet.

James tries to keep his veto a little more hidden, and then he manages to find a veto card.

Round 5:
At this point, the house is absolutely destroyed. What a mess!

Vanessa finds the last veto card, and it was Austin's.

That means that James's veto card was not found, and he wins the POV!

The cards are revealed:
Vanessa eliminated Liz
Julia eliminated Vanessa
Meg eliminated Julia
James eliminated Meg
Vanessa eliminated Austin

James is hilarious, he said he always ends up next to Austin in competitions, and he's tired of being next to Sasquatch. Ha!

Replacement Nominee
Vanessa is devastated that James won Veto. Anyone she puts up next to Meg will most likely go home. She doesn't know what to do now. Liz (or Julia) tried to ensure Vanessa that they would still vote out Meg no matter who she puts up there against her.

Vanessa spills her logic on putting up Julia. She says there is no way she would go. Austin and Liz are too big of targets and they would for sure go. They think Steve will get flipped if he goes up (not sure what that means.

Liz asks who Vanessa is more worried about winning HOH next, Johnny Mac or Meg. She said obviously Johnny Mac, because Meg is terrible. They would target Johnny Mac, but Vanessa has to throw off the shade from Johnny since she is now in an alliance.

James reluctantly goes to talk to Vanessa to try to save Meg. He hated having to talk to her, but he was doing it for his girl. He wants to know where they stand. Vanessa said they could have worked together, but now it's too late and there are too few people left. She said she was upset to hear that he was throwing her name around as who he would target. James said she plays the game too hard and remembers everything. She got way upset at him because he was criticizing her game. He meant it as a compliment and she flipped out and took it the wrong way and asked him to leave. She said the more he pisses her off the more he is ruining Meg's game. Basically, she'll take her anger out on Meg for anything that he says and does now since he's safe.

Vanessa, just so you know: last season's winner, Derrick, and Season 15's winner, Andy, BOTH tweeted that you ARE playing the game too hard! So, take that! She made a joke saying that James must have won last season or something because he is talking like he is playing the game perfectly and the way she is playing is wrong. Well, if former winners are saying you're doing it wrong, I would tend to believe them.

Veto Meeting
James obviously uses the Veto on himself.

Vanessa decides to replace James with Julia!

Well, it wasn't the disgusting duo of Liz or Austin, but at least it was one of the Austwins and not John or Steve, because that just would have been plain idiotic. Here's to hoping that the house gets half as nasally tomorrow by losing one of the twins.
