The Voice, Ep. 4.12

Team Blake

Savannah Berry vs. Justin Rivers
-Savannah chose a Justin Bieber song...wow! This is going to be interesting. She is definitely putting her spin on it, that's for sure. The music is totally drowning her out, what's going on? I really like her and I really want to like this, but something just isn't working. The best part was the ending that she sang with almost no accompaniment.
-Justin chooses a Miley Cyrus song...also very interesting choice. He started off with some really strange notes. It sounds like he started too high. It got much better when he got to the chorus. He had some very powerful notes at the end.
Winner: Justin

Holly Tucker vs. Luke Edgemon
-Holly chooses a very overdone country song: "Live Like We Were Dying". Very expected and not very original. She struggled on some of the really high notes, but otherwise it was decent.
-Luke chooses "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry...wow! Interesting song choice. He made the song almost unrecognizable, it was so different. I don't think I care for what he did with it. He sounded great, but it was way too slow and boring.
Winner: Holly

Danielle Bradberry vs. Taylor Beckham
-Danielle does Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take The Wheel". This young girl can flat out sing! She is amazing! Very beautiful.
-Taylor started out way too low, and it was very shaky. I really wanted to like it, but her notes were all wrong! It was very, very scattered and all over the place. That's too bad.
Winner: Danielle

Grace Askew vs. The Swon Brothers
-Grace has such a unique voice, but it's too unique, and it's borderline (or not so borderline) just annoying and screechy. I just find myself thinking 'how much longer is this' and 'when will this be over'...just painful.
-The Swon Brothers picked one of my all-time hated songs..."Drift Away". It's sad that these guys are my only hope of getting Grace out. I don't see it happening. Groups don't usually go this far, and she's just way too unique. Their problem is that they don't do anything interesting. They play their guitars and harmonize, but it's nothing special.
Winner: The Swon Brothers (Whoa! I'm shocked!)

Team Usher

Josiah vs. Jess Kelner
-Josiah picked "Back to Black" by Amy Winehouse, which I love! I think he's gonna kill it! He looks so good with that guitar! I love his voice.
-Jess picked "You Give Me Something" by James Morrison, which I also love! Her voice is so different, it's hard to tell if she's missing the notes or if that's just how she sounds. I don't care for her take on this song. She definitely screeched on that high note.
---Side note: I agree with Adam, I think they should have done each other's songs!
Winner: Josiah

Audrey Karrasch vs. Michelle Chamuel
-Audrey started out singing so low, and you couldn't make out any of the words she was saying. What the heck is she singing? It's almost like she didn't know any of the words and was just mumbling through it. Not to mention her pitch was awful.
-Michelle is singing a Pink song, which should be really good. This girl is just so strangely awesome. She always has so much energy, and she really can sing! She also has a lot of character and personality.
Winner: Michelle

C. Perkins vs. Vedo
-C. is the underdog for me on this one. I love Vedo, and C. was already eliminated. I think he's not as good as Vedo. His microphone sounded like it was off at the beginning. He had a lot of stage presence, but the vocals just weren't that good. And his last note really cracked!
-Vedo's voice is just amazing. I don't always love R&B singers, but he is so good! Not sure about his Bryan Adam's song choice. It's gonna be tough to get it right. He was a little shaky, but it was a much better performance than C. There was a lot of feeling and meaning behind the song. It was really beautiful.
Winner: Vedo

Cathia vs Ryan Innes
-Cathia picked a Kelly Clarkson song, this should be interesting with her Spanish accent. She seemed to be chasing the song at the beginning. The second half of the song was better and stronger. She threw in some crazy high notes, but most of it seemed a bit to screechy.
-Ryan is singing a great Gavin DeGraw song, which I love! He just doesn't look like he should have the voice that he does. Very strong performance, but a little too over the top.
Winner: Cathia

The Voice, Ep. 4.11

The Knockout Rounds begin!

Team Adam

Amber Carrington vs Midas Whale
-Amber looks amazing! She continues to surprise me with her vocals. She needs to work on the lower notes a little though.
-Midas Whale, doing what they do best: taking a song and making it folk/bluegrass. I'm not loving the songs they've done the past couple weeks, I think they have a lot more to offer. Jon was a little off tonight. I'm surprised that neither of them played an instrument...I think that hurt them, because that's who they are, and it's a part of their whole vibe.
Winner: Amber

Amy Whitcomb vs Caroline Glaser
-Amy picked kind of an interesting song, but it could be really amazing. She has a very haunting quality to her voice that lends itself well to the song. I love her grit when she hits those high notes. Crazy good! And just when you think she's hit her limit, she takes it even higher, and with even more power. Wow.
-Caroline on the other hand picked one of my favorite songs: "Little Talks" by Of Monsters And Men...but I don't know if I'm going to love the way she sings it. She needs to work on pronouncing her words better, half the time I couldn't understand what she was saying. I really want to like her, but there's just some kind of annoying quality...not sure what it is. I think she sang fine, but not great. She's going to get eaten alive in this competition if she sticks around.
Winner: Caroline (wrong choice Adam, Amy is MUCH stronger)

Judith Hill vs Orlando Dixon
-Judith--I've never been that big of a fan of hers. I don't know why I don't like her more. She obviously has a great voice, but she's lacking in personality or something for me.
-Orlando picked a great song! I love his voice so much. He was really feeling the song, and I think he did a great job. The ending seemed a bit out of sync or something, but I still prefer him to JudithI hate that he's going up against Judith, because I feel like they've all put her in the finals already.
Winner: Judith

Warren Stone vs Sarah Simmons
-Warren picked a great song, I can't wait to see what he does with this classic rock song. He took a risk with this kind of song, but he really made it his own, and it worked. I love his voice. He is the kind of country artist that not only can I tolerate, but I actually enjoy.
-Sarah has been one of my favorites from the beginning. I love everything she is able to do with her voice. She always starts out so soft and by the end of the song, it's amazing where she takes it.
Winner: Sarah

Team Shakira

Garrett Gardner vs Tawyna Reynolds
-Garrett picked the perfect song for his voice. He sounds and looks amazing tonight! That kid is going places. He's so young to have a voice that good. I love what he did with the ending.
-Tawnya is just too twangy for me. And she picks a song that is been done a gazillion times. I don't think she was that amazing. Since that song has been done so many times, I've heard it done better. I don't think she took the song anywhere, it was pretty flat.
Winner: Garrett (absolute right decision, no doubt about it)

Kris Thomas vs Mary Miranda
-Kris picked an absolutely terrible song. Love his voice, but terrible song. Hate that song! At least he changed it so it didn't sound so much like the boring original. I heard him miss a couple notes, which isn't like him, he's usually spot-on 100% of the time.
-Mary didn't pick a song that represents her very well. She should stick with the Latin/Spanish stuff. Her first notes were very wobbly. She sounded pretty flat for most of the song. The whole thing was just really uncomfortable to listen to. I didn't care for it at all.
Winner: Kris

Karina Iglesias vs Monique Abadie
-Karina is so powerful. I don't think this was her best performance, it just didn't seem like it fit her. I really didn't like her song choice at all, it really kept me from liking the performance.
-Monique has such a cool voice. I just love it. So beautiful and crystal clear.
Winner: Karina

Sasha Allen vs Shawna P.
-Sasha picked "At Last" which has only been done a trillion times. It's not a good song to begin with, and the fact that it's been so overdone, is just ridiculous. The song is just so painful for me because I hate it, but she sounds good, and she didn't oversing it like she tends to do.
-Shawna picked an interesting song. She has such an interesting voice, but her facial expressions and what she does with her hands just really bothers me. It was nice to see her somewhat restrained and not so out of control. Other than being a little too on the boring side, it was good.
Winner: Sasha

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 16.13 & 16.14

Latin Night w/ Juanes! I'm so excited!

Jacoby & Karina - Salsa
I can't wait to watch Jacoby do this fun and wacky Salsa. It should suit him very well.

Whoa that was a crazy move! Move those hips Jacoby! Ooh, a little freestyle! Oh my gosh he scared me when he jumped over her because he didn't clear her head! Thank goodness it was intentional! That was fun!
Judges' Scores: 27

Ingo & Kym - Rumba
He started off a little stiff, but it got better when they got to the hip action. Oh my, he almost did a full split!
Judges' Scores: 22 (+3 = 25)

Kellie & Derek - Samba
Yay! Shirtless Derek! OK, this dance, is hot! Kellie has the perfect hip action and bounce for this dance. And she nailed the last move that she was so worried about! Awesome!
Judges' Scores: 29

Andy & Sharna - Rumba
He just cracks me up! He is so much fun to watch! However, the Rumba is probably the only dance where it shouldn't be quite so funny. He really tries, and he looks like he's getting the technique and steps...it just looks awkward and silly. All that said, it could be one of his best dances.
Judges' Scores: 17 (Yikes...guess I was wrong! Carrie Anne sighted a lift as she gave a 5)

Aly & Mark - Salsa
Boy, the way Mark is shimmying, you would never know he was hurt! Ridiculous! He hasn't missed a beat, he's his same, wacky self. Aly was really good too, she looked like she was having fun. That had to be so hard not knowing if she would be able to dance with Mark or not. And I'm always amazed that she can play the characters as well as she does.
Judges' Scores: 29 (+3 = 32)

Sean & Peta - Rumba
We better see some shirtless Sean on this one! I think this should be a good dance for him. He seems to do better on the slower dances. He does have hip action...when it's slower (it's the fast shimmying that he really has trouble with).

So far so good. He's got nice lines and extensions. For the first time he's not smiling! He's got the romantic vibe going on, and it's hot!
Judges' Scores: 24

Zendaya & Val - Paso Doble
I think we'll probably see the first perfect 30. She's been so close the last couple weeks. This dance plays right into her wheelhouse, and I think it's going to be amazing.

She looks so pretty! For such a young girl, she dances with so much power, and she's such a skinny thing! There is not one thing wrong with this dance, it is perfection! Oh my...you think it's done...but they're still going! Seriously...they're picking on her chin being pointed down?
Judges' Scores: 27 (+3 = 30)

Aly & Mark and Kellie & Derek are tied for highest score, since Kellie & Derek have the highest cumulative points are immune for tomorrow night!

Dance Off
"La Camisa Negra" is one of my all-time favorite Juanes songs!

The rules on this Dance Off is so confusing! 2nd highest scorers get to pick who to challenge, and the challengee gets to pick the style, and so on for the remaining couples. Crazy! The winner of each Dance Off will get bonus 3 points.

Aly & Mark pick to dance against Andy & Sharna, Andy & Sharna pick the style Cha Cha.
Aly looks hot! She's doing amazing! ...and then there's Andy. He started off pretty shaky, but he put in his usual comedy and humor, which made it very fun to watch, nontheless.
Judges' Picks: Aly & Mark

Zendaya & Val pick to dance against Jacoby & Karina, Jacoby & Karina pick the style Jive.
Can't wait to see this!!! Holy crap, Zendaya is flying! And I thought Mark had the fastest most out of control legs of all the pros...but Val will give him a run for his money! So many steps! So good! And here comes wild legs Jacoby! His legs are so out of control! He's all legs! Oh, and then a split-off between Jacoby and Val! I have no idea who the winner of that one is.
Judges' Picks: Zendaya & Val

Sean & Peta are left with Ingo & Kym, and they are left with the style Rumba.
This is going to be another close one I think. Sean got lucky again and got the same dance as his solo dance this week...and so did Ingo! These 2 are like twins...both in all black! They are built the same and everything.  I think Sean had more content and more technique, but we'll see. The judges seem to really have it out for Sean...he just can't seem to do anything right for them, they always find something to pick on him about. He got some positive comments, so I hope he can get the win.
Judges' Picks: Ingo & Kym

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.27

HOH Competition, continued
Recap: Gary-1 dunk and Jillian and Talla-2 dunks

3. all correct
4. all correct
5. Gary and Talla are dunked
6. Jillian and Gary are dunked
7. all correct
8. all correct
9. all correct

All tied up at 3 dunks each. And the winner is: Jillian!!! They had to guess the number of seconds the previous HOH comp lasted. Gary went over, guessing 1800. Jillian guessed 680 and Talla low-balled it at 480.

Jillian and Emmett just keep trading off the HOH. Wow.

The Importance of the POV
Jillian tries to explain how the POV works at this stage of the game. Talla "acts" oblivious, but in the DR said she completely understands...but I'm not so sure. I mean, it is Talla we're talking about.

Jillian and Emmett talk about who should go on the block because she wants to ensure his safety this week. They have a 50/50 chance of one of the 2 of them winning the POV. If neither of them wins, Emmett is in trouble. It doesn't matter who goes on the block, it's all about who wins POV. If Gary or Talla win Veto, Emmett goes on the block (if he's not already on the block). Since there are only 4 people left, there is only 1 person voting to evict this week, and that person is the only one not on the block. Since Jillian is HOH, she doesn't vote. So, if Emmett is on the block, that means it's either Gary or Talla voting, and chances are they will take him out. In order to ensure his safety, he has to win POV so that he is the sole vote.

HOH Room
No one wants to see Jillian's 4th HOH room. They could NOT be less interested about seeing all her stuff AGAIN.

BB Surprise
Big Brother surprises the houseguests with special clothes for a special Big Brother Canada Awards. Canada voted on their favorite moments in the house.

Emmett and Jillian looked so cute! Emmett was really cute in his tux. Gary went as Zoe (his female alter-ego). They walked the runway, and Zoe told what they were wearing. So much fun!

And the award goes to...

1. Best Entrance Into The House
Talla goes down the stairs backwards or Gary says to Danielle "look at those boobies!"
Winner: Talla!

2. Best costume:
Andrew as a French maid or Jillian as "Evil Dead" host
Winner: Andrew

3. Best Freak Out
Suzette freaks out Anneal or Talla freaks out in the maze challenge
Winner: Talla

4. Best Alter-Ego
Gary as Zoe or Alec as Ricardo
Winner: Gary

5. Best Kiss
Emmett and Jillian under the waterfall or Andrew and AJ during spin the bottle
Winner: Andrew and AJ

6. Best Dramatic Cry
Anneal's cry for sympathy or Gary goes on slop
Winner: Gary

After the ceremony, Big Brother showed them some fun clips from their time in the house. Talla came face-to-face with her embarrassing lap dance that she didn't think would be shown on TV--"Sorry Mom".

The final four reflect on their time in the house and they talk about how long they thought they were going to last. Apparently, Emmett interrupted Talla, and she got all upset because she didn't think any of them cared what she thought. So she sat at the table all quiet, and Emmett knew something was wrong with her because she never shuts up. He asked her what was wrong and she said nothing and walked away. Gary told Emmett it was because he cut her off. Emmett thought that was ridiculous because she cuts everyone off, and he said "she hijacks every conversation!"

He decides to apologize because he didn't want to burn any bridges. She said she was upset because she was trying to share her feelings, and that she doesn't ever get to talk. Emmett was going to lose it! If only she could see herself and how much she talks, she would see just how ridiculous that was.

Final 2-Not True
Jillian convinces Talla that she is going to take her to the final 2 over Emmett...and she totally believes it! But then she feels bad about lying right to her face.

Jillian knows if she keeps Gary around, he will take Emmett to the final 2, so keeping Talla is better for her game. But, obviously Emmett wants to keep Gary because he knows she's right...he would take him to the final 2 over her.

I think it's hilarious that Emmett and Jillian have a running joke that when each of them are HOH that they are going to put the other one on the block if they don't do something.

Celebrity Apprentice, Ep. 13.9

The Task:
Make a video for LG about their interactive, smart technology.

Can I just say that these LG products are frickin' amazing! Refrigerator that has wi-fi and you can create a grocery list and send it to your phone! Washer/dryer that can tell you how much longer you have on the cycle! These things are like from the future...something you would see on the Jetsons!

Team Plan B
Project Manager: Gary

What's better than having a PM who is technologically illiterate? Please tell me that this will be Gary Busey's last stand. There's no way he makes it out of this task, right?!

Gary is so disrespectful to the executives. He constantly interrupts to have them repeat everything. He gets up and walks around while they're talking, he's yawning...it's ridiculous! Granted, even if he was paying full attention, he still wasn't going to get it anyway.

Penn threw out 3 ideas like rapid fire and Gary vetoed them all. Lisa tried to give an idea and Gary told her to be quiet. Seriously Gary? Then he throws out the idea of a man who turns into a mechanical dog. It has nothing to do with the product at all. At this point, Lisa and Penn can do nothing. They are at Gary's mercy and will eventually go down on his sinking ship. They tried to throw him a life preserver and a way out, but he did not want to be saved. I really admire Lisa, because she did and said absolutely nothing wrong and Gary took everything as her being hostile and disrespectful. She continued to not raise her voice and talk calmly with him until he finally agreed to move forward. Ridiculous waste of time, and Gary was totally in the wrong.

Gary goes through the insane idea for the video, and then Penn tells him he will type it up. While going through the script, he and Lisa have a breakdown where they just begin laughing at the whole thing because it makes absolutely no sense, and no part of it was anything that they said...it was all Gary. Their only fear is that it will be so out of the box that LG will love it.

The actors show up, and apparently Gary chose 2 women of about the same age to play his wife and daughter. He told them he didn't choose them, the work chose them. He told them that he left his body at one time, and a ton of absolute nonsense. I really pity those people for having to sit through that.

And, it's time for action and he says "If you have to fart, fart quick, but keep your energy up." Oh my gosh, it's so hard to believe what's going on. And then he pushes one of the camera guys. Lisa says something to him, and he yells at her for not saying it to him in private.

Gary then takes on the role of the mechanical dog, and begins barking out of control. Lisa reminds Penn about LG's wholesome family mantra, and everything he's doing is the complete opposite.

Ivanka pays a visit and Penn and Lisa spilled the beans about the disaster they were experiencing. At that point, they had 1/2 hour left and had not really shot anything. I'm a little concerned when Ivanka says that Penn and Lisa had checked out and that was a risky strategy because they would all be in the boardroom. While that's true, there is absolutely no way that either of them are at fault for what is taking place.

After watching the video, all I can say is "Wow".

Team Power
Project Manager: Lil' Jon

This task was made for Lil' Jon. He has become a master at video production. Marilu and Trace are both creative as well, so it's hard to see how they could lose this task. Their biggest advantage is that they don't have Gary.

Over at Team Power, things are moving smoothly like clockwork. We aren't seeing a whole lot of their team because there is so much chaos going on with Team Plan B.

Marilu memorized her lines and Trace took off to start editing while they were still shooting. Each of them had a role on the team that was perfect for them. The 3 of them were like a well-oiled machine.

If there's any negative about their video, I think it will be that it's not overly creative, and there wasn't very much humor in it to make it exciting. The positives were that they really showed each of the products well and what they can do. Let's just hope that's what the execs were looking for!

Boardroom
The executives liked Lil' Jon's video better, and so Team Power won! Woohoo! All is right with the world! Now, if only Trump can see that Gary needs to be fired instead of taking pity on him and saying what a great actor he is.

It really amazes and astonishes me at how delusional Gary is. He lied about being abandoned by his team. He lied about Lisa yelling at him. He lied about not getting ideas and opinions from Penn. Nothing could be further from the truth for all of those things.

Trump tells Gary that this season he is a rock. What?! Trump said last time he played he was a flake...yes he was, but he STILL IS!!!

And, finally, Gary does not escape the boardroom. Gary should have never survived the last time he was PM.

As soon as Trump said, "Gary, you're fired!" He got up, walked out without saying one word to Penn or Lisa. Real classy.

Amazing Race, Ep. 22.10

10th Leg: Germany

Max/Katie lead it off, and the teams are headed to Scotland.

Meghan/Joey and Mona/Beth got a better flight...or so they thought. Bates/Anthony and Caroline/Jennifer found even better flights. Max/Katie thought they were alone on their flight, but Bates/Anthony and Caroline/Jennifer ended up on the same flight. Meghan/Joey and Mona/Beth thought they had the first flight out.

There is a U-Turn on this leg as well as the Speed Bump for Mona/Beth.

Road Block: Play Bag Pipes
One team member had to get dressed up and play a note on the bag pipe and hold it for 2 minutes while marching.

Max/Katie finished first, followed by Bates/Anthony. Smooth sailing for these 2 teams. Caroline struggled because her mouth was getting tired and she had to do it several times, but finally she got through it.

The last 2 teams arrive and Mona/Beth finish, and it's just Meghan.

Detour: Tasty Puddin' or Whiskey Rollin'
Bates/Anthony decide to do the whiskey challenge and Max/Katie decide to do the pudding challenge because they think Bates/Anthony did the other one and they wanted to separate themselves.

The barrel task looked very physical, and even Bates/Anthony were getting really tired.

The pudding challenge was so gross. They had to take liver, stomach, etc. and stuff it into something gross looking, and then taste it. Max/Katie actually said it was good.

Speed Bump
Mona/Beth have to basically just bowl, and get a strike. But, the balls didn't have holes in them, so it was harder for them to throw/roll the ball. They each had to alternate until they got it. It seemed like they were there a long time. They ended up getting to the Detour at the same time as Meghan/Joey, and they decided to work together.

U-Turn
Bates/Anthony U-Turn Meghan/Joey
Max/Katie U-Turn Mona/Beth

Both teams stuck to the deal that was made at the beginning of the leg: whoever gets there first will U-Turn either Meghan/Joey or Mona/Beth so the bottom 2 teams will have to battle each other. Poor Mona/Beth, they have the Speed Bump and the U-Turn.

Mona/Beth get done with the Puddin' challenge first and move onto the Whiskey challenge. I was impressed with how they were able to move the big barrels! They finished the Whiskey challenge also before Meghan/Joey. But then they go the wrong way to the Pitstop...and get stuck in traffic. Oh dear. I really want Meghan/Joey to go!

Pitstop #10:
#1: Max/Katie
#2: Bates/Anthony
#3: Caroline/Jennifer
#4: Mona/Beth
#5: ELIMINATED--Meghan/Joey

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.26

Things are Boiling
Andrew and Talla are on the block and they both think that they are safe. Emmett talks to Andrew and he wants to let him know that he might be sending him home. Emmett knows that Andrew will be part of the jury and he will need his vote. He says "I'm pretty sure you're fine." Andrew didn't really care for that comment and he's now a little worried.

Andrew is pretty sure he has Jillian's vote, but Gary he isn't so sure about. Gary thinks Andrew needs to come to him with a real deal, otherwise he's voting him out.

Talla goes on the attack, and she goes after Andrew. He thinks it's funny, but she was getting really annoyed by his comments and his attitude. She called him a snake, and that didn't make him too happy. Andrew usually can keep his cool, even though things really bother him, but this time he lost it and screamed at the top of his lungs back at her.

In the midst of the argument, Emmett put his arm around Talla in support of her, and that made Jillian mad because it was fueling Talla's fire. Later Jillian talks to Emmett about possibly keeping Andrew. She doesn't want to take Talla any further in the game because she hasn't done anything. She said that Andrew doesn't deserve to go home, and she wanted to stick up for him in the argument, but she couldn't.

Jury House Update
Topaz is ecstatic that Gary (her other half) is back in the house. She hopes that Gary wins. Alec hopes that Gary doesn't trust Emmett, because that is what got him evicted. His first clue that he wasn't trustworthy was how quickly he "dropped Tom like a sack of rotten tangerines". Topaz said that Emmett is the only person Gary will trust.

Alec talks to the group about he and Peter's alliance called the Shield...except he says they spell it with a "y"...really? He said it's because "why not bro", and he showed them all the symbol. AJ thinks it's hilarious, "the goddess and the geek" and he says to Topaz "this was your showmance." She says the Shields gameplay was not that good, and AJ said that's why Alec is not the emperor of doom but "the emperor of douche", says Topaz. Ugh, she really annoys me.

The next person to join the house is Peter. Peter revealed that Jillian swore on her life that he was safe. Topaz was still really upset with Peter for not saving her.

Alec and Peter, doing their best Will and Boogy: "Weren't we supposed to be 1 and 2?" "Oh well, 6th and 8th are pretty good too."

Emmett's Connections
Emmett seems to be golden with every person in the house. He's going to be very tough to beat. We know that him and Jillian are tight, but he's now convinced Talla that he would rather take her to the final 2 than Jillian because Jillian's won too many HOH's. He also is the only person Gary trusts, so they are good as well. Emmett also tells Jillian that he thinks they should distance themselves for awhile so that the others are more convinced that they aren't a solid final 2, and that there are some holes in their relationship.

Eviction Ceremony
Gary--Andrew
Jillian--Andrew

And with a vote of 2-0, Andrew has been evicted from the house :( He seemed pretty surprised. I'm bummed, I kind of wanted him to stick around and even possibly win it all. As he walked out and said "It hurts the back", as if he had been stabbed in the back.

He seemed to take it pretty well, even considering that he had already voted Gary out of the house. He recognizes that it's just a game, and you know what...it is his first time playing the game...haha!

HOH Competition
Sitting on top of a pool of water...they have to answer questions and if they are wrong, they fall in the freezing cold water. The questions are true or false based on a picture they will be shown. Least amount of dunks in the water wins.

1. Jillian and Talla both were wrong, and Talla lets an f-bomb fly! This isn't the After Dark, this was an actual episode!
2. All 3 were wrong!

...to be continued!

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.25

Emmett Is Connected
Emmett says he is connected to everyone in the house, and he has no enemies.
1. He has been in an alliance with Jillian since Week 1
2. He has been in an alliance with Gary since Night 1
3. He has a Nova Scotia bond with Andrew, and they are part of the East Coast alliance
4. He is connected to Talla through Jillian and he's saved her a couple of times

Damage Control
Emmett reassures Gary and Andrew each individually that they are good. For the time being, it looks like it's working, moreso with Gary than Andrew. Andrew is still really upset. He is like a ticking time bomb. He's been building up a lot of things for the last several weeks, and he's starting to lose it a little bit.

A Visitor
An envelope is slid under their front door and the doorbell rings. The letter says that a visitor is coming for a sleep over. Talla is flipping out! She runs around the house screaming that high pitched scream of hers. She can hardly contain herself.

Finally, the door opens and it's BBUS's Dan Gheesling! "Who's ready to be coached up?' Immediately, Talla jumps on him! Poor Dan, he said he was attacked by a "5 foot wind-up doll that just doesn't stop! I'm 30 seconds into this game and I'm already being attacked. Why am I not surprised?"

Dan then gets up in front of the houseguests and gives a little speech. He says he's not wearing black because of his own funeral, but because of one of theirs. He said Dan has been given the power to evict one of them. BUT, he was just trying to teach them a lesson. He said they have all been "misted" (a term he coined). He said none of them were going any where. The lesson was to never let another houseguest get up and address the group like he just did.

Dan & Gary One-on-One

Gary: "They want me out". Dan thinks that behind all the glitter that there is a gamer inside of Gary, and he's going to try to bring that out. Dan thinks he needs to use the knowledge he gained at the jury house to his advantage. Gary tells Dan that he needs to get Jillian out because of her showmance with Emmett. Dan asks if there is any scenario where that could happen, and Gary said if Talla won the Veto and removed him. So, Dan said, that's what he has to work on. Silly Gary said he never thought to align with Talla. Oh my...Gary, you have to look at every possible scenario in this house.

Veto Competition, Hosted by Dan
It's the Price of Veto "Prize or Punishment" challenge. They bid on different things worth a specific amount of points, and the one with the most points wins. They don't find out what they "won" until the end when everything is tallied up.

1. Cut up the clothes you are wearing for 5 points--Talla (she didn't really think it through, she loved her shirt and her skirt was new)
2. Have-Not for the rest of the season for 6 points--Gary
3. Willing to dress up in a prison suit and carry around a ball and chain for the rest of the week for 7 points--Gary ("it's a fashion crime" for someone who changes his clothes multiple times throughout the day)
4. Slop pass for the rest of the season to give up 5 points--Talla
5. Willing to stay awake for 24 hours for 7 points--Gary
6. Willing to be the house bathroom attendant for the day for 6 points--Andrew
7. Win $1000 by giving up 9 points--Emmett
8. Willing to go the rest of the week (no swimming or hot tub either) to earn 9 points--Gary
9. Willing to accept a haircut of Big Brother's choice for 11 points--Andrew (Dan buzzes him a mohawk)

Winner of the POV: Gary

Emmett was sneaky, he was hitting the table with his hand instead of the buzzer to make it seem like he was trying for the punishments. When, in actuality, he didn't want to win the Veto, he just wanted the money.

Gary & Talla
Talla decides it would benefit her to work with Gary. They make a deal that if they win HOH they won't put each other on the block. Gary is actually telling everyone the same thing, but his true alliance is with Emmett. He just wants everyone to think he is the perfect person to take to the final 2.

Emmett sees them talking from the HOH room and he tells Jillian she is in trouble because those 2 are obviously working together now. He says she hasn't worked hard enough to work with Talla.

Dan's Mist
Dan wants to give out some lucky red headbands like the one he wore on BB. In order to earn their bandanna, they had to do something that Dan said.

He tells Talla if she wants it, she has to jump in the pool.

Dan thinks Jillian is too reserved, so he tells her to pour something (it looked like a big bottle of apple juice or something) all over herself to show she could let loose and have some fun. Talla thought it was absolutely hysterical.

Dan wanted Emmett to feel like the third wheel for once, so he told Andrew to kiss Jillian right in front of Emmett....and he did!

Dan says that Emmett needs to talk more, and be like Gary (because Gary talks a lot). He tells him to impersonate Gary. Dan thinks deep down inside of Emmett, there's a little bit of glitter waiting to come out. I don't think he sounded like him, he just swore like Gary did.

Since Gary has to stay up for 24 hours, Dan tells him to pour water on Talla while she was sleeping on the couch. She was NOT a happy camper! She was going to beat them over the head with that pan. She looked like a drown rat.

Dan & Emmett One-on-One
Emmett is worried that there are so many big personalities in the game who talk all the time, and he is quiet. But, he said because he listens so much, people tell him more stuff than they probably should.

Emmett doesn't think that anyone in the jury house will vote for Gary to win because he got a 2nd chance.

Emmett trusts Jillian but he also thinks he can beat her, and he already has his speech prepared that he can "crush her with."

Marsha Sees Dan
"Whoa who's the new guy?!" Dan had so much fun messing with Marsha, and he also sweet-talked her a little too, complimenting her gold horns (they're antlers Dan) and pretty eye lashes. Marsha asked if he had seen Peter because she hasn't seen him for awhile.

Dan & Jillian One-on-One
She says she has no doubts about Emmett, but she doesn't think she can beat him. Dan thinks that's crazy that she would go to the finals with someone she knows she can't beat. Dan said it's obvious everyone loves Emmett, including the jury, and even he likes him. But, that means he should be stabbed in the back right now!

Gary's 24 Hours
He starts pacing in the backyard all by himself. He's all alone because everyone else is sleeping. He starts to get a little delusional. When BB tells him he is done, he shouts "Thank you Lord!" and proceeds to go snore in the Have-Not room.

Gary Confronts Emmett
Gary wants to know why the plan has changed since they first talked. They agreed Andrew was going to go, and now it seemed like they wanted him to stay. Emmett says, OK, we'll send him out and I'm doing it for you. He then decides he needs to separate himself from Jillian a little bit, and he says maybe she needs to go up. Oh, boy, that would create some fireworks!

Dan & Andrew One-on-One
Dan says he's been put up 2 weeks in a row by his alliance, when there were other options. He thinks Andrew should be scared and he needs to do something right away before Jillian and Emmett vote him out, because it's clear to him that neither of them are going to save him.

Game Changer
Emmett asks Talla if he would put Jillian up if she would vote to keep her. She was absolutely shocked that Emmett would even consider doing that. She would owe Emmett for saving her by not putting her on the block. He is hoping by having that conversation with her that that will bring her closer and keep her happy.

Veto Ceremony
Gary saves himself...shocker! As a replacement nominee, Emmett nominates Talla

American Idol, Ep. 12.31 & 12.32

Just a note about this week. In case you aren't aware, the judges save is no longer in play. The judges had until the top 5 to use it, which was last week. Since they didn't use it, there is one "extra" week until the finale. The finale is scheduled for May 16. This means that since the save was not used, the finale would be on May 9. They won't change the finale date, so look for them to spring a "surprise non-elimination" on us either this week or next week. Just so you know...

Amber
Song 1: Wow, she sounds amazing on this Celine song. Girl can really sing...not sure why she doesn't get the votes.
My Score: A

Song 2: And, we're back to another boring, old-fashioned ballad. I feel like I say this on every performance except for Angie, but "voice sounds great, but song is awful." I wouldn't even have to watch the show and I could just use that critique for everyone but Angie. Towards the end, it got just a bit too much like a scream instead of singing. (Side note: Nicki TOTALLY called Amber "Angie")
My Score: B-

Candice
Song 1: Crappy song choice! Not digging this at all. We all know she can sing, and that she can do a lot of runs, but she's gonna have to make better song choices and pick a more relevant interpretation. It's just boring and dull. It took me most of the song to figure out what song it was. She definitely changed the song, but not in a good way. She needs to do more fun stuff and not such a melancholy feel. I agree with Nicki that she is old fashioned. And I agree with Randy...cool it with the runs. Wow...don't usually agree with the judges.
My Score: B- (A for vocals, C- for horrible song choice, interpretation and overall old-fashioned boringness)

Song 2: Oh my...I really want to put in my ear plugs...I can't stand the same kind of song over and over and over. All I want to know is when will it be over.
My Score: B

Kree
Song 1: Another ridiculously bad song choice, but at least she makes it interesting.
My Score: A-

Song 2: More boring, boring, boring...another song over 40 years old. It really bugs me when she looks out the corner of her eye. It's like she can't wait to get off the stage or something. She just doesn't connect with the audience or the song at all, and it really bothers me. I agree with Keith...pick songs that aren't safe and in the middle. Songs like that just don't show a personality.
My Score: B

Angie
Song 1: Angie's back at the piano, yay! Classic Angie! She looks amazing, she sounds amazing. In a final 4 of rather boring, predictable singers, there's Angie. She is still my vote to win. I'm glad the judges are behind her.
My Score: A

Song 2: Another song I don't know, and it's not that great. But she's different than the rest...something about her voice and performance still manage to make it interesting, rather than boring. Her high notes at the end were really good.
My Score: B+

Amber & Kree
OK, see, a current song: Adele - Rumor Has It. They both sound incredible and the performance is SO ENJOYABLE! Song choice is everything people! They still showed all of their vocal abilities even though it was a fun and current song. Plus, they both showed some personality, which is usually severely lacking. Again, I agree with Nicki...they need to show the personality!

Candice & Angie
Another current song...thank you! Love this Rihanna song! Angie held her own against the powerful Candice and they sounded really good together. Note to American Idol producers...this is why Idol is going down the crapper...not enough current music. They need to kill the way overdone Beatles week and Motown week, etc. and go with stuff like this. It's so much better!

Survivor, Ep. 26.11

It's 8:00, so here we go! What kind of chaos and mayhem is going to take place tonight! I'm almost afraid to watch...I'm worried for my Three Amigos! Good luck Malcolm, Reynold and Eddie!

A Tribe In Shambles
The tribe is falling apart! Brenda's crying (and in an opposite role, Dawn is the one doing the consoling), Cochran is exhausted, everyone's hungry. Everything Stealth knew was rocked to the core. They thought they had control and had things figured out, but the Three Amigos are still there. They have to figure out where to go from here without their cuckoo leader. Erik said he is now thinking of when might be the right time to vote with the Amigos or whether he should stick with Stealth (although none of them want to refer to themselves as that).

Reward: Food Auction
Everyone is so excited--they are all so hungry. I sure hope that Malcolm can get some food so he has some energy for the Immunity Challenge. But, his thought is that there quite possibly is going to be an advantage in the Immunity Challenge. He's always thinking. Or not...

1. Malcolm bids $20 on the first thing without even seeing it, and it's beer and nuts. Great, beer is the last thing he needs (although he'll tell you it's what he needed most).

2. Blind item goes to Reynold for $180...but he could trade. He sticks with it and got 1 slice of pizza. He could have had the whole pizza or a rotten coconut. Stupid Sherri bids $500 (all she had) for the entire pizza.

3. Dawn bids $500 on a whole roasted chicken and she's out.

4. Next is a piece of information...Malcolm bids $480 and no one else bids, so it's his. He has 60 seconds to read where the hidden immunity idol will be found. Good job Malcolm!

5. Hidden item: Andrea gets it for $280 and she gets a meal or she can trade for rice and beans for the whole tribe (which they desperately need). She chooses the food for the tribe.

6. Help in Immunity: Cochran gets it.

7. Brenda bids $300 on a hidden item and it's PIG BRAIN! Yuck! She actually takes a bite and the rest back to her seat. She said she just remembered she doesn't eat pork. She must be hungry!

8. They all get a chance to buy a letter from a loved one for $20, which means Sherri, Dawn and Malcolm don't have a chance to read a letter.

9. Hidden item: $200 to Eddie for a humungous bowl of peanut butter to be shared with the entire tribe. They have 60 seconds.

Being Sneaky
Reynold talks with Sherri to see if she would consider joining them. She says yes, but can she be trusted? Erik is another one they want to swap over to their "dark side". They want to target Cochran because he's a strong player and without him, they should crumble.

Malcolm goes out in the dark to look for the idol. Fingers crossed for you Malcolm! Uh oh...in the morning, Cochran and Andrea catch him looking for the idol, so of course they decide to just linger around. Of course they aren't going to leave him alone. Oh my gosh...they are still there just sitting! He's waiting for her to leave, she's waiting for him to leave. You know, she could start looking herself, instead of just watching him.

Immunity Challenge
This challenge is similar to one last season. They have to hold a rope with one hand. At regular intervals, they have to move their hand down a notch which makes it harder to hold. They start off with weight at 1/3 their body weight from when they started.

Cochran's advantage in the challenge is that he can move his hand up 2 notches at any point. This will not be of much help to him I'm afraid.

Cochran uses his advantage after the first switch. He should be out in no time at that rate.

Brenda is out first, followed by Erik.

Last round, they have no knot to hold onto, just rope. That's gotta burn.

Sherri is out third.
Malcolm is out fourth. Noooooo!
Dawn is out fifth.
Reynold is out sixth

It's down to Cochran and Eddie. Cochran has a 2 knot advantage over Eddie...oh boy. Hold on Eddie!

Oh no! Cochran wins immunity! That's 2 for him now! Holy crap! He had an advantage, but still...it's Cochran! I NEVER imagined he'd be able to hang on that long. Good for him I guess, but really bad for the Three Amigos.

Now What?
Cochran was going to be the target for the Three Amigos, but that's out the window.

Malcolm can't look for the idol. He decides that he needs to make them believe that they are playing an idol. He thinks they would split their vote. If they have Sherri as a 4th vote, that would be enough. Malcolm lies to Sherri and says he has the idol. He says their target will be Andrea.

Reynold talks to Erik, and he seems to be on board. But Erik's a flipper so nothing is guaranteed.  Erik himself said that he may not know which side is going to vote with until they go to Tribal. Dawn lays down a major guilt trip on Erik saying that she is putting all her hope in him.

Cochran wants to do a straight vote and not split.

Sherri thinks she's in control of the entire game. Really Sherri?

Tribal Council
My heart is already pounding and my hands are shaking. Is there any possible way that the Three Amigos will all make it out of this alive? I sure hope so, but it looks very bleak.

Reynold opens his mouth and admits that he's not so sure that the Stealth 6 are a tight 6 any more. No Reynold! You don't want them to suspicion that anyone has jumped ship!

The Vote:
Reynold-3
Malcolm-3
Andrea-3

3-way tie...REVOTE!
I guarantee every single vote is going to be for Malcolm (with the exception of Eddie). There is no way that they are going to let him get away. No hidden immunity surprises, they have him in their cross-hairs and they are going to take him down.

5 votes shown for Malcolm, and that's it...they are now down to 2 Amigos :(

...wait...Eddie voted for Malcolm???? Why??? It's not like it mattered, but what was the point?

The Voice, Ep. 4.10

Team Adam

Duncan Kamakana vs Sarah Simmons
I was a huge fan of Sarah during the auditions, she was amazing. I wasn't really impressed with Duncan in the little bit that we saw of his audition, but man, he won me over (what can I say...cute guy playing a guitar). This is such a tough battle...I want them both to stay very badly! There better be a steal. I think in terms of a battle though, I think Sarah blew him away. She changes her voice so much in one performance, it's really cool.
Winner: Sarah

Amy Whitcomb vs Agina Alvarez
Winner: Amy

Team Blake

Justin Rivers vs The Morgan Twins
Winner: Justin

Team Shakira

Brandon Roush vs Shawna P.
This song is really good for both of them. It's going to be a tough battle.I like this song as a duet between a guy and a girl...it really works. They are both really good, but Shawna is just overpowering him I think. As much as I like Brandon, I think Shawna will come away with the win.
Winner: Shawna

Cathia vs Mary Miranda
These girls are too cute! As both Latina girls, Shakira picked one of her own songs for them to sing. This could end up in a cat fight...Mary doesn't know her part and Cathia is not holding back telling her about it. Then during rehearsals, she said Mary was messing her up because she was singing her part. It's really hard to pick, I think they both have some really good qualities. The harmony at the end was very beautiful.
Winner: Mary
Steal: Usher uses his last steal at the very last second as she's leaving the stage!

Team Usher

Michelle Shamuel vs Chelsie M.
Winner: Michelle

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 16.11 & 16.12

This week, Stevie Wonder is live to perform with the dancers. I'm sorry to anyone who likes Stevie, but this is going to be a painful 2 hours. I just don't like his music. And we have to hear it on every single performance. Ugh! But, apparently, according to Zendaya, something must be wrong with me, because I don't like Stevie, and apparently everyone else loves him. Yeah, OK...

Zendaya & Val - ChaCha
Let's just say it now: Zendaya is amazing. It's just not fair how easy she makes everything look. She doesn't miss a step or a hand movement or a hip shake, and Val doesn't go easy on the choreo either.
Judges' Scores: 29 (+22 = 51)

Andy & Sharna - Samba
Look at Andy move those hips! He is just so much fun to watch! And like I've said so many times, I see technique and not just humor. I wish he'd get some higher scores, because I think he deserves them. Someone like DL, who used humor but had no technique essentially got the same scores as Andy in weeks past. Not fair!
Judges' Scores: 18 (+25 = 43)

Sean & Peta - Samba
Love to watch Sean shimmy! And we get to see a little bit of shirtless Sean, which is always a good thing! He was a little bit out of control, but I don't care, he's hot!
Judges' Scores: 21 (+25 = 46)

Aly & Mark - Foxtrot
Not much to say, except that it was beautiful and flowing. She's total class.
Judges' Scores: 27 (+25 = 52)

Ingo & Kym - Tango
Looks like Ingo is back! He seemed to have a couple of bobbles, but overall, I think he did a good job. And it's his birthday, so he better get some good scores!
Judges' Scores: 24 (+22 =46)

Kellie & Derek - Quickstep
Kellie looks like such a different person with long hair. Quickstep can be one of the most difficult dances because it's so fast and there are so many steps, but I had no doubt that her quick legs would have no trouble. It was amazing. Not a missed step to be found.
Judges' Scores: 29 (+25 = 54)

Victor & Lindsay - Rumba
He really wasn't doing a whole lot of dancing if you ask me. He looked pretty lost and just kept doing the same moves over and over. I don't really think he got the romantic feel of the Rumba at all. Nice try, but it didn't quite cut it.
Judges' Scores: 18 (+22 = 40)

Jacoby & Karina - Quickstep
Poor guy, he just can't get those pigeon toes to turn out! A quick football guy like him should excel at the Quickstep. Karina used some good technique by having them dance in the aisle, very far away from the judges so they can't see his toes! I don't care what dance he's doing, he's just fun to watch. And he's so fast!
Judges' Scores: 23 (+22 = 45)

Team Dances

Team Paso: Victor, Ingo, Zendaya, Jacoby
Hot, shirtless guys...thank you! I love the girls' dresses...so cool! Victor is the obvious, and self-appointed, weakest link. Ingo was amazing! And then there's Jacoby! He jumped over Karina's body lengthwise, what?! Zendaya was incredible as usual. This style of dance suits her just as good as any. Great group dance!
Judges' Scores: 22

Team Samba: Kellie, Sean, Andy, Aly
LOVE the disco outfits! With Mark and Derek, you know there's going to be some great choreo. Sean starts it off, and he's a little off, just like his individual dance (how did he manage to get the same dance for his solo and the group dance?). Mark and Aly are next, and what the heck is on Mark's face-that is a crazy moustache! Andy looks ridiculous, but he can dance people! Kellie ends it and Derek has a sunglasses malfunction. I love their group stuff, classic Mark and Derek stuff right there. That was so much more fun than Team Paso!
Judges' Scores: 25

The Results:

The Voice, Ep. 4.9

Team Adam

Midas Whale vs Patrick Dodd
Huge fan of Midas Whale, and former American Idol contestant Jon Peter Lewis. I hope they win! Patrick has too much grit in his voice for me. It's a little uncomfortable to listen to at times. Midas Whale is just so much fun to watch and listen to. I'm not crazy about this song choice. I don't think any of them sounded particularly great on it. At times you couldn't really hear any of them singing. Adam sure was enjoying it, though.
Winner: Midas Whale

Team Blake

Jacqui Sandell vs Savannah Berry
I really liked Savannah in her audition and she's killing it again! Love this girl! But Jacqui is really good too. This song was a really good choice for both of them. They harmonize really well. I don't even like country, but I loved this! I think I would still go with Savannah.
Winner: Savannah

Team Shakira

Luke Edgemon vs Monique Adadie
I'm really surprised that Luke sounds this good on a Lady Gaga song. The song really suits Monique very well. I love their interaction with each other. He looks like he's having a blast. Wow, they are both so good! Whoa, he just hit a crazy high falsetto note! I don't know who to choose. I guess if I had to, I would pick Monique.
Winner: Monique (interesting strategy, she chose her because the other coaches seemed very excited about Luke and she's hoping someone will steal him)
-Blake for the steal...but wait...Usher also comes in with his button, but he ends up choosing Team Blake.

C. Perkins vs Kris Thomas
These 2 seem pretty evenly matched. I think this song is great for both of them. C. seems to be a little nasally. Even though C.'s voice is good, I think I prefer Kris's voice.
Winner: Kris
Steal: Shocker! C. was on his way out, got to Usher's chair and THEN he pushed his button, just to make him sweat a little.

Team Usher

Jessica Childress vs Vedo
I'm really excited for this battle, it is going to be so close because they are both really good, and in rehearsals are sounding really good together. I don't think I've been this torn in the Battle Rounds as I am with these 2! They are both so incredibly good. I would be shocked if there isn't a steal on this one. I think if I had to choose, I would probably take Jessica.
Winner: Vedo (what?! no steal?!)

Orlando Dixon vs Ryan Innes
Orlando's voice is just insane. The runs he does are out of this world! I really like Ryan's voice though, too. He's really good, and it's kind of surprising coming from him. Orlando was really feeling the song. I'm surprised these 2 actually sound so good together. They look like a very unlikely pair. Whoa, and out of nowhere, Ryan lays it out! Orlando is my pick, but I fully expect a steal.
Winner: Ryan
Steal: Adam! woohoo! I'm so glad he got saved!

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.24

HOH Competition
Continued from last episode, who will win?

Talla was so completely lost. Is there anything that she's good at? The only thing that she ever has a chance of winning are endurance competitions. Gary seemed to be just as lost, just putting random pieces up.

Emmett and Andrew are making some headway with their puzzles. Emmett says that he likes to take things apart at home and see how they go back together, so that seems to be helping him.

Emmett is finished and Jillian is hoping that he's not dq'd. Ha! I would be worried, too.

Discussing the Twist
Andrew is really mad that Gary came back because he was the HOH that got him out of the house, so he knows he's going to be a target. He feels like his HOH didn't mean anything.

Gary is hoping that he is still good with Emmett, because he's his only chance at an ally. Emmett is kind of the only person in the game who thinks having Gary back in the house is a good thing. He makes a good point that if Emmett and Jillian align with him, they have the numbers to go to final 3, if they go together in getting in Andrew and Talla.

Sneaky Gary
Gary tells them that the jury house loves Andrew, when really he only has AJ's vote. Then when Jillian leaves the room, he tells Emmett that he really thinks they need to get Jillian out! Really Gary? You think that's going to make Emmett want to work with you? Not only that, but she was right around the corner and he's talking all kinds of crap about her. Not cool Gary, not cool. Emmett tells him he's being like a baby. Emmett says that he would go to final 2 with Gary because he thinks he could beat him, not because he likes him.

Gary says that the jury house hates Jillian, but he tells her that they all respect her. Jillian was worried that the jury hates her because of how many people she lied to and put on the block. She also thinks that because of the threats that Peter made to her if she got him out of the house.

I think Gary did an excellent job of telling them all what they wanted to hear about how the jury was feeling. He also did a very good job of making it believable and coming up with valid reasons for the jury thinking certain things.

Marsha's Challenge for Talla
Haha! Talla and Marsha, oh my. She has to do a one hour talk show called "Talking with Talla!" and she has to start with a 2-minute monologue and then interview each of the houseguests individually and find out one fact about them that she didn't already know. So, can we just talk about the fact that she didn't know what a monologue is? And how funny is it that Marsha doesn't have much faith in her: "Get ready for our first fail everyone." lol

Gary is first up. She spends like a 5 minute rambling sentence trying to ask him 1 question! Wow, that was painful. But, she does get him to say that he got really good grades in school and got a scholarship.

Emmett wasn't a very willing participant. She asked him how far he's traveled in Canada, and he says he's driven all the way across Canada. She asks what the best thing he stopped to see was and he said a dinosaur museum. Apparently, this is in Alberta and "I should really know that."

She asks Jillian about her teaching degree, which Jillian said was in the sciences, including earth science. Talla asks "what is earth science" and, shocker, she didn't know what that was!

She asks Andrew about traveling and she said she didn't think there was such a thing as a traveling visa and Andrew said that there was, but it wasn't a credit card. And, guess what...she didn't know that!

She then reports back to Marsha and she informs Talla that she passed and she starts rolling around on the floor! Oh my! Marsha says: "That girl is a handful, and I don't even have hands!" The reward was a festive night of Talla-tinis. Oh no...more alcohol...this is not good!

Chess
Emmett teaches Jillian how to play chess and he likens the BB game to chess. And just as they are talking about pawns, Andrew walks in the room. Jillian and Emmett decide that Andrew has to go on the block as the pawn. Later, Andrew comes back and jokes about who Emmett was going to put on the block, thinking that it would for sure be Gary and Talla. However, Emmett informs him that he was trying to avoid a scenario where someone gets taken off the block and he's forced to put up Jillian as a replacement and he would never  be able to forgive himself if she would go home because of him. Now Andrew is really worried. He doesn't know why Emmett is doubting his loyalty to the alliance. Andrew flat out calls him a prick to his face. And THEN Emmett makes the BIG mistake of telling him that he was doing the same thing that Jillian did last week. He tried to cover himself by saying he thought Jillian told him the plan. Andrew is PISSED to find out that both Emmett and Jillian are putting him on the block to cover themselves. Emmett knew as soon as he said it that he should not have told him that. Emmett then tries to cover again by saying that by putting him on the block, the rest of them will really not suspect that they have a final 3 deal.

Jillian felt so badly that Andrew was upset that she said she was almost willing to chance going on the block if it meant that they could win Andrew's trust back.

Nomination Ceremony
Andrew nominates Andrew and Gary

Emmett says he nominated Andrew because he's the only one who stands between him and winning and that he's a huge comp threat. His reason for nominating Gary is that everyone in the house only has 1 life, but Gary has been given 2 lives, so he wants to see how long this life lasts.

That was kind of a risky move, because Andrew is not happy about this at all. It would be better to make Talla mad at you for being the pawn than someone who is in your alliance.

Emmett still hasn't decided who he wants to leave this week, so he's letting both Gary and Andrew think that they are the pawn.

Celebrity Apprentice, Ep. 13.8

The Task
Interactive South Africa tourism travel expo

Team Power
Project Manager: Brande

After a coin flip win, they choose the Adventure package.

For lack of any other ideas for a slogan, Trace comes up with "You + South Africa = Adventure".

They struggled with how to bring huge adventures into a very small space. The themes were golfing, ziplining, shark cage diving, glamping and surfing.

A couple of their good ideas were:
Shark cage = a fake cage and someone dressed up as a shark taunting the person in the cage
Ziplining = being pushed across the room in a desk chair

Trace shows us the art of shopping quickly. He also continues to struggle with the ideas that his team is coming up with. He doesn't think they are all that great, and he spends most of the time just sulking in his chair.

They put together a really nice pamphlet that described each of the experiences, and the executives seemed to really like that. And, they even enjoyed the "zip line". I can't believe that they even got George to do it!

Team Plan B
Project Manager: Penn

They get stuck with the Romance package, which was not their first choice.

Their themes were: spa, art, wine, food and dance.

Gary is proving to be less than useless on this task. He doesn't have any idea how to use a phone! He can't multi-task at all. It's definitely like they are working as a 2-person team right now vs a 4-person team of true "all stars".

Penn used his connections to get some zulu dancers and a South African drummer that played with Paul Simon. Plus he got some authentic South African chefs. He made that look way too easy. And Gary did...nothing.

Watching Gary do his thing was like watching his own circus. Lisa said it was like working with a 3-year-old and that he was more focused on eating his chicken. He was so much in his own world. At times he seemed like he was having a seizure. He was so out of control...more than we've seen before. It was incredible, and I feel so sorry for Penn and Lisa.

I could not stop laughing as Penn and Lisa breakdown and have some laughs at Gary's expense. He's off drumming a candle and kind of spinning around. Penn tells Lisa that maybe the judges will say that zulu dancers are not romantic and they should have just had people making out. Lisa said she will not make out with Gary, because she's got to draw the line somewhere. Then, Penn laughs and says that he wonders if it's possible to French kiss Gary because he has like 4" of teeth to go through. Oh, my.

The Boardroom
Somehow the team of 2 with the severe handicap of Gary, managed to out-do the team of "all stars". Team Plan B wins! I'm shocked! And Gary lives another week...

My guess is, that as a 2nd time losing PM, Brande will be fired.

Trump is going after Lil' Jon because he really wanted Adventure over Romance. Oh come on Trump! Someone was going to end up with it, you can't blame him for thinking it might be easier.

Brande brings back Trace and Marilu. That was the right choice, you don't want to lose a good player like Lil' Jon. Although Trace is so tough too. As long as Brande or Marilu go, it will be the right decision.

And just as expected, "Brande, you're fired."

Right before they were dismissed, Trace spoke up for her and asked Trump to give some money to her charity since she wasn't able to earn any. Trump decided to give $20,000 to her charity. That was really nice of him, and nice of Trace to speak up.

Amazing Race, Ep. 22.9

9th Leg: Switzerland

Bates/Anthony lead it off again.

The teams are on their way to Germany. They are taking a train, and oh no...Bates's bag got stolen on the train! Luckily, he had his passport. Caroline/Jennifer offered him some of their girly underwear...haha!

Max/Katie get to the first clue first.

Before they could drive away, they have to answer 3 questions about their next destination. Somehow, Bates/Anthony are now in 4th and Mona/Beth, who were in 2nd, are now in last. Bates/Anthony catch up to Caroline/Jennifer, their traveling buddies and they continue to work together to figure out where they are going next. After getting some directions from a local, Bates/Anthony take the lead, but somehow Caroline/Jennifer lose them...uh oh!

The next task is to base dive off of the Park Inn. Basically a free-fall face first, yikes!

Detour: Train Trials or Font Follies
Putting together a train track or carrying giant letters to a museum.

The carrying of the letters proved to be pretty easy (except it was kind of a long way to walk and the letters were heavy) and it was pretty close to where they already were.

Meghan/Joey decided to do the train detour. Once they found where to go, they had a lot of fun playing with the train, but were having trouble keeping the train on the tracks.

Oh no, Bates/Anthony have to go back because his letter V got broken! Great! I finally have a team to root for, and they are going down on a sinking ship this leg! I sure hope this is a non-elimination leg, because they are in a lot of trouble right now.So, instead of going back, they decide to complete the train task instead. Oh dear, it took them 9 attempts to get it right!

Roadblock: Search Labyrinth
They have to go through a maze to get to a white room. They have to answer who said a famous quote in order to get into the maze.

Katie was the first to try it, and she was successful. That place was seriously freaky, like a haunted/fun house!

Mona/Beth got really lost, and that gave Bates/Anthony time to catch up. They are running neck-and-neck, and they actually started helping each other just to get through it. They finish and now it's going to be a foot-race! The guys decide to follow the girls hoping they can beat them in a race.

They were right and they make it to the mat just in front of Mona/Beth! I knew, it non-elimination! Only, since Bates/Anthony weren't last, I would have been TOTALLY fine with it NOT being a non-elimination! Oh well..

Pitstop #9
#1: Max/Katie
#2: Meghan/Joey
#3: Caroline/Jennifer
#4: Bates/Anthony
#5: Mona/Beth

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.23

Talla Starts to Lose It
Talla just can't handle being on the block! She even gets Andrew ticked at her. Peter uses this opportunity to say that Talla doesn't deserve to go to the final 4, and try to say that he does. For some reason, Emmett tells Peter that he isn't safe, because Jillian is having second thoughts about bringing him to the final 4. Peter says that he's been loyal to them, and didn't vote to evict Andrew because that's what they wanted.

Emmett tries to tell Jillian that he thinks they have a better chance by bringing Peter instead of Talla. He said that Talla and Andrew are too close. Jillian thinks this move would benefit Emmett more than it would her. She thinks taking Talla would help her more.

Peter Decides to Create Some Chaos
He decides that he only has 24 hours to save himself, and he's going to go out with a bang. Peter manipulates Talla to get her to say what he wanted, so he could take that info back to Jillian. He knows she isn't good at thinking and talking very fast. So, he quickly asks her who she would target to position herself better in the end. She hesitates, but he says that she should go after Jillian, and she agreed. Success! Now, all he has to do is go tell Jillian that Talla said she would go after her, and he should be golden, right?

The Vote
It's crazy that only Emmett and Andrew are voting tonight. I can't believe that we are only down to 5!

Andrew-Peter (and he throws up the Shield sign...lol!)
Emmett-Peter

And with a vote of 2-0, Peter is evicted. I'm kinda sad to see him go. But, wait...hold up...something's going on here...

Before Arisa even announces who's leaving, Peter stands up and goes and sits on the top step. Arisa says that he's been evicted, and he proceeds to make a speech. He says "There's an idea of Peter Brown that was not real. This confession has meant nothing. This is not an exit. Disappear, here." What the heck does that mean? He doesn't say goodbye, he just takes his bag and leaves.

Then he makes his way outside, and he sets his bag down and writes something with his finger on the doorstep. What the heck is he up to? Who is Peter? Is he OK?

Then he starts acting like a maniac, walking around the stage and getting the crowd all amped up.

Arisa asks him what he wrote, and he said the same thing he's been writing all season "Fate." He said "I believe in me, I believe in the Shield. But, I guess this is when I was supposed to go."

He had some very strong words when asked about what he said yesterday about really only trusting Emmett. He said that it's hard playing with idiots, and he hopes that Emmett wins because all "the others are largely useless."

He doesn't think that there is any one thing he did wrong, he thinks he die everything was wrong because he is sitting there.

His final thoughts on the remaining houseguests:
Talla: "Talla doesn't know what game she's playing, unfortunately."
Andrew: "Andrew's lucky to be there."
Jillian: "Jillian thinks that winning HOH's means that she wins, that's not true at all, she also doesn't have a clue what she's doing."
Emmett: "Emmett understands the game, and I believe that he will win."

Jury House
Alec is determined to throw everyone under the bus except for Peter. He tells them all what Jillian did, and now AJ and Gary have changed their feelings about Jillian.

Topaz totally blames Alec for her being evicted and couldn't believe that Peter didn't use the veto to save her. Alec tries to keep the peace because he knows he has to live with these people for a couple weeks.

Yikes! I would NOT want to be there that long with a bitter Topaz!

Twist-Power Shift #3
The jury members all join Arisa in the studio, and all are excited to find out who gets to go back in the house.

Only 5% separated Alec and Gary, and Gary is voted back into the house!

Inside the house, they hear everyone in the audience screaming, and then Gary walks through the door!

HOH Competition
Challenge: put together a puzzle in the shape of the BB house. This actually looks really hard because the pieces are all really crazy shapes. Oh man! Another "To be continued"...

Another twist: Dan Gheesling is going to be joining the house for a sleepover!

Big Brother Canada, Ep. 1.22

After the Nomination
Peter and Andrew are on the block. Peter thinks Andrew's the target. Andrew thinks Peter's the target. Someone is clueless and someone's going to be shocked.

Emmett wants Jillian to tell Talla that if she wins Veto, she can't save Andrew, because that would mean that Emmett would get put up.

POV Competition
All the houseguests get to participate. They have to clean a big set of teeth, solve a puzzle, and then search through tons of sheep to look for one that has a star. The first one to tuck themselves in the big bed, wins. They also win a $10,000 shopping spree at The Brick.

The teeth part of the challenge proved to be very difficult, because that green stuff would not come off! They were all getting pooped. Talla was too short to reach. Peter got frustrated and he hit the teeth and the brush broke! Andrew found that hitting it did loosen the plaque up and it began to come off easier. Emmett then copied what Andrew was doing. Andrew finished first and Emmett was close behind, and they move on to the next round.

Emmett then tells Jillian to bang the brush. Uh oh...Talla realizes that he's helping her, and helping is not allowed! Then Jillian finished, and Peter is ticked! He threw the brush at the teeth and it burst into a ton of little pieces. Then Big Brother announces that they are reviewing the tapes because of a possible infraction. Oh no...we know what that means. Yep, he assisted Jillian, and he's disqualified. Jillian quickly says that she didn't even hear him or use the technique he was telling her to use (and she didn't). Emmett gets very upset and starts screaming at Big Brother, and he pretty much just threw a little temper tantrum. How embarrassing.

Because of Emmett being disqualified, they go again, and it's down to Peter and Talla. Peter then finishes and he gets to move on.

Time for the puzzle round. Andrew did it in no time and Jillian finished 2nd! Peter is out. That was amazing because she said she never understood how to do those types of puzzles. She was so funny as she was describing herself doing the puzzle. She was like "I'm gettin' it, I'm gettin' it, and I'm figuring it out. Just move this 3 times and get rid of this." So funny! Peter wasn't so happy and he threw a temper tantrum of his own, and dumped the puzzle table.

Last round, Andrew vs. Jillian. Andrew got the sheep, and tucked himself in and Peter said he "crushes my dream." He won the Veto, and obviously plans to take himself off the block.

Poor Peter was really taking the loss hard. He feels like he's never mattered before and he really wanted to come out as a winner in this game. He's afraid that the loss at one puzzle has cost him the entire game.

Phone Challenge
Jillian answers and receives a mission for the entire house. They all must freeze. They can't move or talk or anything. If one person fails, they all face a punishment. But if they succeed, they will all get a surprise that will bring them "closer to home."

At one point when the froze, a big sumo wrestler came into the house. He walks right up to Jillian, who was carrying Jillian's laundry, and he just stares at him. He lays down right next to Emmett on the ground. Challenge successful.

Another time freezing, and cheerleaders enter the house and begin cheering around Andrew.

The next time, low and behold, Andrew's twin Pete comes in, and Andrew just about loses it! Pete hugs him and shows him video of his nieces, and Andrew's crying! Pete tells him how proud he is of him and that he'll get to come home soon. That has to be torture for him! He tries not to smile, wow...that was crazy!

They are finally told that they have succeeded and they will get video calls from their families.

New Deal
Jillian begins to think about who's in the jury house and how Emmett hasn't made anyone mad. She talks to Andrew and they decide it might be best to work together. They shake on a final 2 deal, but Jillian reveals in the DR, that she's LYING!

Veto Ceremony
No surprise, Andrew uses the veto on himself. She obviously won't be putting Emmett on the block. Poor Talla, as much as Jillian doesn't want to have to put her up, that's what happens.

Survivor, Ep. 26.10

All over Twitter for the past week and especially today, I keep reading that tonight's episode is epic and that the Tribal Council is one of the most absolute craziest Tribals ever. Ever. And as they keep saying, there has been 404 of them. So, unless everyone is way over-hyping this, I think it's going to be a game-changing douzy. Can't wait...

Back from Tribal
Malcolm, Reynold and Eddie are left behind, as Stealth-R-Us decides to go talk after returning from Tribal.. Eddie: "We don't have anything to be afraid of." Malcolm: "Everything I tried went wrong."  No one knows about Malcolm's idol, and they all vow to look for the idol in the morning, because they think Reynold's will be rehidden. Can he pull a 3rd-time bit of magic? Phillip: "They have no idol". Hopefully they aren't even considering that another idol might come into play.

Dawn's Meltdown
Dawn lets out a blood curdling scream and she yells to Brenda to come right away. Everyone wonders what's going on. Brenda comes running, and Dawn bursts into tears. The reason for the meltdown: she lost a retainer with her bottom teeth. Yes. You read that right. She said it came out when she was swimming and she has to have them. She was physically shaking, she was that upset. She is so embarrassed and won't go to Tribal without them and she will pull herself out of the game without them. Are...you...kidding...me? I think that could be the single dumbest thing I've ever seen. She literally lost her mind over this retainer. Brenda came and used a snorkel to go in the water and retrieved it for her. Her life is not over and she can continue.

Does anyone else wonder how she can possibly put that back in her mouth after being at the bottom of that nasty lagoon? That's just nasty! Not to mention also very, very unsanitary. I guess you could probably stick it in some boiling water, but wouldn't it melt?

Reward Challenge
Malcolm is first on the course for the Purple team. He uses a unique strategy and looks for all the bags in the mud while Erik only gets one and goes to the rice. Reynold was the 2nd one out for the Orange team and copied Malcolm, and found all the bags for his side. By looking for all the bags in the mud first, the ones that followed only had to pick up the bag and go to the rice. Sherri for Orange took forever on the balance beam...she was SLOW! Phillip just about got stuck going under the beams before the slide! Eddie is the last one on the course for Orange.

Purple starting throwing their balls into the tubes and they just kept nailing one after another before Orange even starts shooting. It wasn't even close. The Purple team wins Reward.

At the reward, they get to take a nice shower and get cleaned off and there's a nice pool to swim in. What does Phillip do? He goes into the nice clean pool with his muddy body, strips down naked and proceeds to make the clean water completely disgusting! Thanks a lot Phillip! Nice to see he's back to his antics of annoying everyone.

Paranoia Sets In-Dawn Freaks Out Again!
Dawn's worried about a blindside. Andrea has been talking with Malcolm, so she thinks they are coming after her. She runs to Phillip and Phillip thinks she's acting like a lunatic. Cochran is suspicious of Dawn for even thinking that if they would blindside anyone, that it would be her.

And then Dawn goes into freakout #2. Phillip says "she's going out of control." It's like the Brandon effect. She even says she feels like she is unstable. She says she needs some time and that she's stronger than this. Cochran said they already had a cuckoo fly over the nest and that was Brandon, and now he thinks Dawn might be a little hummingbird zipping over the cuckoo's nest. Ha! I don't know what happened all of a sudden, but she is definitely not doing OK and they need to get rid of her ASAP.

The next day, she thinks she is completely back to normal.

Stealth-R-Us goes for another walk. They decide they want to target Reynold. Andrea: "Tonight nothing can really go wrong." Oh, the famous last words. I guarantee those words will come into play when all of this is said and done. Their plan is to split votes again like last time--4 girls vote for Reynold and the 3 guys vote for Malcolm.

Immunity Challenge
1st Heat: Reynold is first to move on, followed by Andrea
2nd Heat: Malcolm is first to move on, followed by Brenda (Eddie would have moved on, but he missed putting his ring on the pole!)
-Phillip chose to sit out the challenge because he had a traumatic experience in water as a child. Wow.

Final Round: It's down to Malcolm and Reynold and Reynold wins! Malcolm really struggled on his last ring...he was pooped! That was a great challenge.

I'm worried about Malcolm, he just isn't looking as strong as he did last season (and for good reason, he only had a 2 week break from playing the last time, so he didn't get to build his muscle back up). Reynold is proving to be extremely strong and tough to beat. For now that's OK, but if it should get down to the nitty gritty, Malcolm is going to have a tough time beating him in physical challenges. But for today, this is great because it completely screws up Stealth-R-Us' plan, but it's also bad because the target goes back to Malcolm.

Final Scramble
Phillip talks to Andrea and Dawn. Phillip feels confident because he thinks Malcolm thinks he's safe and that they will be targeting Eddie.

Malcolm, Reynold and Eddie go looking for the idol. Andrea and Dawn decide to go look for the idol as well, while Phillip and Brenda discuss what happened to him as a child.

Somehow Andrea and Dawn end up in the same place as Malcolm and Reynold. Dawn tells Malcolm to tell her if he sees something. I'm like, yeah right, why would he do that. But, she obviously thought he might find something because she kept hanging around him. And just as Dawn says "Can we get a clue or something?", Malcolm puts his hand in this hole in a rock and finds an idol!!!!! The question is, is that his original to make them think he found it, or is that a 2nd idol?

Tribal Council
I'm dying to know how this is going to go down. Does Malcolm or Reynold give up their immunity? Does Malcolm go home with 2 idols in his pocket? Does Malcolm use an idol on himself and the 2nd one on Eddie  and they vote out Phillip? That would be the craziest scenario that I can think of...so maybe, just maybe that's what happens.

Almost immediately, Andrea outs Malcolm for finding an idol, so he's forced to show it. I love the way his face just perked up with this huge smile, like 'yep, I found it and I'm so happy right now.' He then pulls it out of his pocket like it's show-and-tell. But he wasn't done, the fun Malcolm was here to play. The surprise comes when he whips out his 2nd idol! He used his quick wit to throw out some zingers. He casually says "I've had this one for awhile." Boy the looks on their faces were classic! They were absolutely shocked! I actually think that Eddie and Reynold were the most surprised out of all of them! I don't think Malcolm clued them in before Tribal about what he was going to do, because they had a giddy look of excitement, along with quite a bit of surprise when Malcolm handed over his 2nd idol to Eddie. Eddie kind of puffed out his chest and I've never seen someone with a bigger smile than he had, his smile was all teeth, literally grinning from ear to ear.

Immediately, Stealth-R-Us begin whispering to each other. Probst is trying to talk to Malcolm and Probst interrupts because he can't believe they are all still talking to each other. they were whispering "What are we going to do?" Someone mouthed "Andrea". Malcolm, Reynold and Eddie had the biggest smiles on their faces. It was too cute.

Eddie labels them The 3 Amigos, and they are sitting pretty and the rest continue to frantically whisper back and forth. Michael over on the jury couldn't contain his laughter.

Malcolm then announces they are voting for Phillip--I was right on that as well! So many things running through everyone's mind. What if the guys don't actually play the idols? Are they really targeting Phillip? So much craziness!

Phillip addresses the group and says he feels like they should all vote the way they were going to when they came. He even said he was OK if that meant that he would go home.

On one hand, I almost hope they keep their idols because would they really think they would not use them? Then they would still have 2 idols. On the other hand, that is WAY too risky.

The Vote
Eddie stands up to play his idol and Malcolm remains sitting. Oh boy, what do they have up their sleeve. Then after a short fake out, Malcolm also stand and then plays his as well.  That was intense. My heart is pounding. I love their little fist bump on their way back to their seats...nice. That means Reynold is safe, and all votes for Malcolm and Eddie DO NOT COUNT!

Malcolm-2--didn't count
Eddie-4--didn't count
Phillip-3 (Note: the 3 Amigos, plus Erik, Jeff only showed 3 of the votes)

PHILLIP GOES HOME! That was absolutely nuts! I can't believe that they ALL thought that neither of them would play their idol. They must think they are really cocky and wouldn't go through with it. Wow. Or, they wanted to continue to show their loyalty to Phillip and be able to say they never voted for him. True cult members. By sticking to their original plan, they also don't risk ruffling each other's feathers by throwing other votes out. But, I forgot, and only realized this upon watching it again, that Phillip announced that they should vote the way they had planned and he was OK if that meant he went home. Those people were completely loyal and followed his instructions to his own demise. Wow.

And to make things even crazier...for like the first time in Survivor history, someone CHOOSES to sit out an individual immunity challenge for a reason other than a bribe. It just so happens that that person ended up being voted out in the end. Absolute craziness!

American Idol, Ep. 12.29 & 12.30

Candice
Song 1:Very strange take on this song. I don't know if I like it or not. I don't really care for the jazzy vibe she has been putting into her songs recently. They definitely show off her vocal talents, it's just not that pleasant to listen to for my taste.
My Score: B+

Song 2: Her 2nd song is more the style that I like from her. It's more pop ballad than old fashioned jazz/blues. I think she sounds at her best when she sings songs like this. I find her voice so much more tolerable and pretty to listen to. This one got a much deserved 4 judge standing ovation.
My Score: A+

Janelle
Song 1: Boring, boring, boring is Janelle. I keep asking myself if it's ever going to end. I don't like country, so a song like this is pretty much like torture. Going beyond the song, her voice is nice, but it's still torture.
My Score: B

Song 2: I definitely think her upbeat songs are much better than her slow ones. She at least shows a little personality and doesn't put you to sleep. Her vocals just aren't that great. So the verdict is that this is better than the first one, but it's still not great.
My Score: B+

Kree
Song 1: I think this is a good song for Kree. I think I like this performance from her, better than any of her other ones (or at least anything she's done recently). She actually looked like she was having fun for the first time. Her vocals were amazingk and she didn't overdo the country.
My Score: A

Song 2: Kree is on fire tonight. I haven't been that big of a fan of hers up to this point, but she's kind of winning me over tonight. She sounded so great on this song. I didn't even know this Celine song. I wasn't totally crazy about the song, but she sang it beautifully.
My Score: A

Angie
Song 1: I'm glad she's back at the piano. I love this song. She sounded amazing! I don't know why people have started doubting her and keep putting her in the 3rd spot behind Candice and Kree. I think she's as good or better than both of them and wins in the personality department...hands down. I love the power that she sang with in this song. This was her best performance in weeks, and got a much-deserved standing ovation from 3 judges (minus Nicki...boo!).
My Score: A+

Song 2: Ooh, I love this song for her! She is killing it! Her voice is sounding so amazing on this song! She is hitting every note! Wow. Angie is back people! This time all 4 judges stand...that's right!
My Score: A+

Amber
Song 1: She picked a good song. The 2nd half of the song was so strong. She really killed it. Tough to take on a Mariah song, but she killed it. I didn't agree with Nicki saying that she didn't like it and that she sounded scared. Didn't hear that at all. I thought it was really good.
My Score: A

Song 2: Really crappy song choice. That is not going to help her at all. Nowhere near as good as her first song. She might have sang it well, but it was a horrible song. It was classy and showed off her voice, but it was boring. And tell me why all 4 judges stood up for that? Yuck. Following the plea for votes from the judges, that will probably be enough to save her.
My Score: B

The Voice, Ep. 4.8

Team Adam

Michael Austin vs Warren Stone
I'm gonna say it right now, go Warren! Adam should have never picked Michael. He's Adam's weakest pick. How funny is it that it's also police (Michael) vs firefighters (Warren). I must say Michael sounded better tonight than in his audition. They were pretty evenly matched, I'd say. Warren is just so smooth, and more versatile I think.
Winner: Warren (and how interesting that Adam mentions his diversity as a reason for picking him...I must know what I'm talking about)

Team Blake

Grace Askew vs Trevor Davis
Winner: Grace

Caroline Glaser vs Danielle Bradbery
My vote definitely goes to Danielle in this battle. I just don't think I care for Caroline's voice. Danielle is the youngest in the competition and she is so amazing! I can't believe she is that young and has never had a singing lesson and she's that good! I did really like their harmony at the end.
Winner: Danielle
Adam and Usher push their buttons to steal, and she chooses Adam's team

Team Shakira

Tanya Reynolds vs Mark Andrew
Winner: Tawnya

Team Usher

Jeff Lewis vs Josiah Hawley
These guys look very evenly matched and their looks are also very similar, like they could be brothers. They both have such a cool laid back vibe. I honestly could close my eyes and not know which one is singing...they are that similar. I honestly can't make a pick with these 2. I think maybe I'd lean toward Josiah.
Winner: Josiah

Audrey Karrash vs Jamila Thompson
Winner: Audrey

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 16.9 & 16.10

This week, the couples have to dance side-by-side with a pro couple. Whoa, the pressure is on!

Ingo & Kym vs Tony & Emma - Cha Cha
OK, so Ingo and Tony are hot! Ingo was a little slower than Tony in the side-by-side, but he still looked good. The judges will probably say he needed more hip action, but I always enjoy Ingo no matter what he's doing.
Judges' Scores: 21

Jacoby & Karina vs Maks & Ana - Jive
I can't wait to see him do the Jive with his crazy legs! Look at Maks go! I really miss him this season. Jacoby was with Maks every step of the way, he didn't miss one step. His legs just crack me up. He has the perfect personality for the Jive. Oh my gosh, he did a split! I don't know if I've ever seen a guy kick so high. Add in the unassisted and barely running start leap OVER Karina. This was just plain AWESOME! Poor guy was so out of breath and with good reason, that thing was loaded!
Judges' Scores: 26

Victor & Lindsay vs Tristan & Emma - Viennese Waltz
I love the setup for this dance, and I love the song ("Never Tear Us Apart" by INXS). The side-by-side was really good. He was able to pull off the smoothness of the dance. I think he looked better than he has the past couple weeks. I'm still not overly impressed and I just don't really care for his whole attitude. I'm ready for him to go.
Judges' Scores: 21

Mark & Aly vs Tony & Whitney - Samba
I can't wait for this dance, I think it's going to be really good! She kept up the sexy with Whitney and their moves were matched up exactly the whole time! She really looked like she was having fun this week. It was so good! She really got those hips moving!
Judges' Scores: 25

Sean & Peta vs Tristan and Chelsie - Quickstep
I love Tristan and Sean together...so cute! Whoa Chelsie and Trstan are flying! That is a real Quickstep! Sean did pretty good matching up with Tristan! He always looks like he's on the verge of losing it in every dance, but somehow he holds it all together. Peta did not take it easy on him with this choreography, she threw it all in there for a true Quickstep and I think he did well. I hope he can get some 8s to separate him from the middle of the pack just a tad.
Judges' Scores: 24

Kellie & Derek vs Henry & Ana - Foxtrot
Oh no, awful, awful song! On the plus side, Kellie looks like a graceful angel. You would never know that she struggled so much in rehearsals. I loved the penguin walk, that was hilarious! I also really loved the ending, how they both ended up laying on the floor...it was really cute.
Judges' Scores: 27

DL & Cheryl vs Sasha & Chelsie - Tango
Sasha & Chelsie were hot, hot, hot! Well, the side-by-side was in synch, but I would MUCH rather look at Sasha. I gotta say, he took more steps in this dance than he has in the past, but he just isn't pleasing to watch. He's just kind of a joke, but in a bad way. He did better than I thought he would, and he even got the tone of the dance...a little (although he looked like he was acting and not really feeling it), but blah... It is time for him to go please.
Judges' Scores: 18

Zendaya & Val vs Ana & Maks - Argentine Tango
Ooh, brother vs brother...this should be a good battle! How has Val never danced an Argentine Tango before? That's surprising. Zendaya looks amazing! The side-by-side was really good. She was so into this dance and really looked the part. Her legs were amazing with all the intricate movements. The lift was really cool. I can't believe how well she acted it out with her face. She so looked like a pro! Wow!
Judges' Scores: 29

Andy & Sharna vs Sasha & Emma - Paso Doble
This should be very interesting: Andy as Zorro. Wow Andy! He came flying in on that zip line a la Apolo from last season! He definitely held his own in the side-by-side. At times he looks like he's channeling Barney Fife, but he's got technique under that funny exterior. I wish the judges would reward him instead of pick on him. I want him to outlast Victor and DL and I think he deserves to. For someone who looks so physically weak, he was able to channel quite a bit of power at the end and made it rather believable.
