Big Brother, Ep. 17.17

I just want to ask one thing before I get to tonight's recap. Has anyone else noticed the strange, abrupt disappearance of the BB Takeover twist? At the beginning of the season, we were told that there would be a new twist every week. I think the last one was either Gronk or Kathi Griffin and that was several weeks ago. All of a suddent, this twist just died with no explanation. Just wondering what happened there. Can't say that I'm too disappointed though, most of the twists were kind of silly and didn't really add a lot to the game. Maybe the producers realized the same thing and decided to scrap the whole thing mid-season. Just some food for thought. On to the recap, as we will most likely be saying goodbye to the flamboyant Jason tonight.

The Blindside
Jason was blindsided, but so were Meg and Jackie. Meg is all beside herself because she thinks she will be losing her BFF. Jason realizes that everyone is shocked and upset...except for Shelli and Clay. He realizes that they have been behind all of the evictions so far (I don't know if I would go that far. Clay does a pretty awful job of acting like he didn't know Vanessa was going to do that and that he had no idea. Meg begged Clay to tell her if he knew or not and he swore he didn't know and that as far as he knew backdooring Austin was always the plan. Meg then goes to Vanessa and asks if they (Clay and Shelli) knew about the change in plans, and Vanessa said obviously they did and if they say they didn't they are lying. She said it would be stupid of her to make a move alone without someone else helping her. Vanessa said she wouldn't have done this without everyone supporting her, and it's good to know that they are denying their part in this. Great, this is not going to end well. Jackie calls out Shelli in front of Vanessa and Shelli said she doesn't want Jason to go, and she wouldn't confirm that she agreed with Vanessa's plan. Meg and Jackie now also make the connection that Clay and Shelli have had a hand in every eviction. Oh no...

Plan #SaveJason
Jackie says Jason is better for her game than Becky is and she wants him to stay and wants to know how they can get the numbers. They have 3 and they need 2 more. Their options are Clay & Shelli, Austin & Liz, or Johnny Mac & Steve. They think Austin and Liz are dumb and gullible and they might be able to scare them enough to switch sides. Jason tells Clay and Shelli that the plan is to go after them next week in order to scare them. Jason said he can ensure their safety and people like James and Meg will be eternally grateful if they voted to keep him. Wow, some compelling arguments that I didn't expect. I wonder what's going to happen!

Johnny Mac Attack!
We are privileged to get lots of Johnny Mac in a video package that featured his family, coworkers, and even a patient. They said we are seeing a very different side of him than what they normally see. What I loved was getting to see some funny moments that weren't shown before...like his sexy flossing, and the kissing move he put on Becky. Classic Johnny Mac...loved it!

Big Brother, Ep. 17.16

Perfect Plan Blown to Bits
I still can't believe that Clay and Becky choked and lost by literally milliseconds. Vanessa is devastated because she wanted Jackie to remain HOH so that backdooring Austin wouldn't be on her hands.

James tells Becky and Clay that he did everything he could and really did try to throw the comp. He said Liz figured out the whole thing.

Johnny Mac thinks it's funny that Clay is still on the block and has to actually fight for the Veto like he's had to do every week. He laughed and said "maybe someone will come up to you and ask YOU not to use it!". "You could be stuck on there until eviction, man! It's not fun is it?!" Oh, Johnny...

Liz thinks something's up because James wasn't very happy that they won. She thinks he threw it. Austin is freaked out because he doesn't think that Steve is the ultimate target and that it's actually Liz. He's worried that people aren't being honest with him.

Liz is in a Pickle
Liz loves hanging out with Austin and always being around him. But now it's clear that he's really starting to like her and she doesn't see anything romantic with him. He was getting so cuddly and tickly with her and she was really getting annoyed that he wouldn't leave her alone. He did a sneak attack kiss on her and totally caught her off guard. Unfortunately, her shyness and playing hard to get...I think it's actually making him like her more.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.15

Mission: Save the Twins aka "Operation Jason"
Austin wants to make sure the twins are safe with his alliance and with the rest of the house this week. They only need to survive one more eviction for them both to get to be in the house at the same time. Austin's plan is to basically pull Jason in. He knows Jason has known about the twins since the beginning and he wants to confide in Jason...something about being worried the twins are going to stick together and him needing to have someone else on his side? Honestly, I did not understand what he was saying about this plan.

When Liz switched with Julia she told him of Austin's plan, and Julia immediately said she didn't think it was a good idea.

So, Austin talks to Jason before the eviction. He said he is close with Liz and he said "unfortunately that person isn't able to be here all the time". Jason picked up on his not-so-subtle hint. Jason wonders how Austin telling him this benefits him. Austin said he wanted to open up to someone about the whole thing because he was going to explode. Jason asked if he knew what the other one's name was, and Austin told him. In the DR Jason says "Julia. It has a name, it's not just Liz #2, it's Julia." LOL!

Austin said he really likes Liz, but he only gets to see her every 3 days. He would like to work with the other one, too. Jason said they could both be coming into the house because in Season 5 that's what happened. Austin said ultimately he would like to break up the twins and only keep one because they will always stick together and choose each other over him. Jason said they could take Liz with them to jury and leave Julia. Austin was fine with that, but ultimately he does want to work with the twins for as long as possible, and ultimately his heart belongs to one of them, and that's Liz. So wait, I rewound this several times to listen to what Jason said. He said they would take Liz with them to jury. That makes no sense. So what, they expect none of them are going to make the final and just assume they are all going to jury? So, he just wants to go to jury to be with Liz?

Jason spills the beans to his BFF Meg. He said Austin only likes Liz and was trying to sell Julia out.

Austin's plan backfires and Jason says he now has the needed amo to go after Austin and "the Lizes" because they were going to be targets regardless. He tracks down Shelli to tell her. He said Austin told him because he was trying to build a bridge between them. They all are shocked to find out exactly what Austin is doing -- which is trying to keep Liz safe this week by selling out Julia. Of course Shelli already knew all this and is furious that Austin blew it with only one week to go. They then bring in Vanessa and they told her what Austin told them. Shelli and Vanessa were very good at pretending that this was all brand new and shocking information. So now Vanessa is ticked at Austin, too. The guy is just not very smart, let's face it.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.14

Audrey is Checks Out
No one knows what's going on with Audrey. She was a no-show at the Veto meeting, in which she was named as the replacement nominee. Everyone wondered if she might just leave the game. She stayed in hiding for awhile, then emerged, still covered in blankets, didn't talk to anyone and went to the Diary Room. She flopped on the chair and just laid there. Seriously, grow up, Audrey. She talked such a big game, and she is only where she is because of her mouth. Own it and go out strong...don't just wimp out and play the victim. She has boasted about all of the people she has targeted and gotten out of the game, and now that it's finally happening to her, she runs scared.

James felt bad for her so he made her an omelet and brought her some orange juice. Wow, how nice was that?! Honestly, the way she has behaved she didn't really deserve it, but that was a really nice thing he did. She didn't even acknowledge him in the room as he brought it to her. He left it and she didn't even say anything to him...what a jerk!

She obviously has mentally (and physically) checked out of the game. She clearly is not cut out for this game, and it appears that it could be detrimental to her well-being to stay in the house any longer. I don't know that the game has ever seen a breakdown this bad before. Leave it to Audrey, she is full of firsts this season.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.13

#FightWinLive
Johnny Mac's motto is Fight Win Live! Other weeks he was trying to stay on the block as the pawn. This week he tried and lost and so this is just lame. He has a good streak with winning Vetos, so he's hoping to #FightWinLive.

Audrey Damage Control Continues
Audrey tells James that she is pissed at Shelli for throwing her under the bus to Jason. She said that was a dumb move for her to betray her like that because she's been loyal to "the couple" aka Clay and Shelli. She said they are naive to think that no one is going to try to split them up. James has no idea why Audrey would be telling him all of this. He doesn't know and he doesn't care. What he is going to do though is tell Clay and Shelli so they can "sort this mess out". Ha! Another lie backfire for Audrey. James thinks this is a smart move for him to tell Shelli and Clay because he isn't a threat this week and it will prove that he is on their side. This was the last straw for Clay and Shelli. Clay is right, this kind of stuff has been going on for weeks. It's finally time to do something about it.

Clay asked Audrey why she's been acting weird. She doesn't understand why Shelli would do that to her. Audrey cries that she has no one in the house and everyone else has another person. She continued acting like a child by pulling the blanket over her face the entire time she was talking to him. She is worried that she is going to go up as a replacement nominee. Clay tries to reassure her, but the truth is it's probably going to happen. Shelli is worried that she's going to have to make the decision to put her up as a replacement nominee. She doesn't want to be the one to send Audrey home. She had the opportunity 2 weeks ago and didn't do it and now she is faced with the same situation. She likes Audrey and wants to trust her, but the whole house wants her gone.

Whackstreet Boys

Big Brother, Ep. 17.12

Who Lied?
Austin wants to know who lied to his face and didn't vote out Jeff like they said. There were 4: Liz, Steve, John, and Jackie. Austin is wrong on 2. He thinks it was Becky, John, Jackie and Audrey. The biggest surprise was Liz. She didn't make a connection with James and she did with Jeff so she wanted to keep him. She obviously doesn't want Austin to find out.

Steve Is His Own Worst Enemy
Poor Steve is so hard on himself. He had a little talk with himself in the bedroom and he was so upset that he didn't get the first question in the HOH competition right. He asked himself if he was going to throw the competition and he said yes, and did he throw that question, no. He planned to throw the comp much better than that and at least get the first question right. He said people already suspect he is throwing comps so this isn't good. I thnk he's putting WAY too much thought into it. I don't think that that many people are paying that close attention to him right now.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.11: Finale & After the Final Rose

Let's just get this over with, and watch Nick completely get blindsided for the 2nd time in a row!

Kaitlyn with her Family
Kaitlyn warns her family that her final 2 hate each other. She admits that she messed up and it involved her final 2. She then said that Nick was one of the final 2 and her mom couldn't believe it. Kaitlyn said she has to forget what she thinks about Nick from Andi's season and she didn't know if she could.

Nick - Family Meeting
Kaitlyn told Nick that she told her family about going too far with him in Dublin. He couldn't believe that she told them that. He's got a lot of room to talk...

Her mom's first question to Nick was "Why are you here?". Starting off with the tough ones! He said he could think of a lot of reasons why he shouldn't do it, but he didn't want her to be with someone else. He said last time he went on the show to see if he could find love, but this time he came for Kaitlyn. He told her that she could send him home at any point.

Kaitlyn's mom talked to him alone and she was honest and told him that watching him last season, she thought he was possessive, jealous and even arrogant. He said he didn't come for a second chance on the show, he came specifically for him and he's not surprised to be in the final 2. He said he was in love with Kaitlyn and if she would have him that he would be with her forever. He started crying, her mom started crying. He asked if she would be OK with that and she said before she met him she wouldn't have been. But, now that she's met him, if he makes Kaitlyn happy that would make her happy. Him being emotional showed a completely different side of him for her and she admitted she was wrong to judge him before meeting him.

Nick then talked to Kaitlyn's dad and he shared all of the things he loved about Kaitlyn and he said that he fully expected to propose and was hoping to have his blessing. Her dad said he gets a good feeling about him and he gave him his blessing.

Nick feels confident, but he doesn't know what her relationship is with Shawn. He said it's hard to imagine her having a connection with him like what he has with her.

Shawn - Family Meeting

The Bachelorette, Ep.11.10: Men Tell All

...and I'm back! Sorry about the absence over the last week, I was on vacation and not able to watch any of my shows. I'm trying my best to get caught up, so here's my rather speedy recap of the "Men Tell All" episode. I'm hoping to keep this brief so it doesn't take too long to do because we have the finale and the "After The Final Rose" coming up tonight. It's going to be a long night!

We start out with some video clips from the season. Who could forget Ryan M. and the not-so-good impression he left with everyone on the first night. And then there's the bromance with JJ and Clint. Of course, we recap the entrance of Nick and the fact that everyone hates him and the ego of Ian.

As soon as the video clips ended, Tanner attacked Ian for calling them all lame and the fact that he didn't associate with the rest of the guys and give them a chance. They said his exit was despicable and he needs to give Kaitlyn an apology. Corey said he didn't agree with the way that Ian approached her, but some of the stuff that he brought up were spot-on. The guys who got to know her more disagreed and said he didn't get to know her well enough. Ian decided to take off his jacket and he got in front of them all and got down on one knee and apologized for things that he said and he regretted the way he left and the way he made Kaitlyn feel. Everyone was really confused as to why he got down on one knee to apologize because that's just so weird? They asked if he was proposing...lol! Several of them came down to shake his hand and accept his apology. I think he seemed sincere, but the getting down on one knee was just weird and over-the-top.

Corey called out Clint for totally changed his tune after his date with Kaitlyn. He (and JJ) got very arrogant and wouldn't even talk to them. Clint made it clear that he is not gay and he was there for Kaitlyn the whole time. He came on the show to find love and he developed a strong friendship with JJ because he wanted to spend time with people he finds interesting. JJ said that everything that was being said about Clint could, and should, also be said about him. That's what I have been saying from the very beginning! I don't know why JJ got off so easy when they both were doing and saying the same things. JJ said that he and Clint were so mutually intellectually curious about each other and they went way beyond surface-level stuff...and for him there was a lot of "meat to that". OK, JJ, just stop talking because the more you talk, the worse things look for you whether you are truly meaning what you are saying or not. He just is not explaining this well at all...it just sounds way too gross. The looks on the guys' faces were priceless. Kupah said they didn't need to know how deep their relationship was ever again. Somehow Kupah used that to segue into Nick coming on the show part way through when some of them were there from the beginning and have lost their jobs. That was a very strange rabbit trail to deviate to based on what they were talking to JJ about. JJ said he thnks it was right for her to let Nick on to give herself a chance to see what things with Nick would be like and he thinks she did the right thing. Clint said that the guys let their hatred for Nick got in the way of their relationship with Kaitlyn. Kupah said she should have left the show to pursue things with Nick if she felt so strongly about him because it wasn't fair to the other guys that she was obviously thinking about Nick and the previous relationship that she had with him. Joshua said her big mistake was telling the guys from the get-go that she saw her husband in that room...and then she lets an outsider come in.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.11

Ok, so this recap is going to be shorter than normal. Forgive me if there are any misspellings. My Internet is down again, even after being "fixed" yesterday. As a result, I have to do this recap on my phone...because I'm that dedicated. Definitely slows down the typing, but I'll give it my best shot.

Rallying the Troops
Austin thinks he might be OK sitting next to Jeff. Jeff tries to find people to be on his side and apologizes for things he's done. He told Clay that he isn't threatened by his relationship with Shelli and hopes they can still work together. Clay believes in second chances but he's not sure if he can trust Jeff. He gets all weepy talking to Shelli and said he knows he's done wrong things. Jeff confessed to Jackie that he played on Shelli's emotions. Jackie said that if he can sway Shelli, she will sway Clay and they might be able to get the numbers.

Clay and Jason think James is much more trustworthy than Jeff. Meg is still undecided. She thinks James is likable and that could take him far in the game.

Love Triangle
Austin has a good relationship with Liz. Steve has also shown some interest in her. Austin gets jealous when she and Steve playfully say they love each other. The triangle becomes a square when Liz starts flirting with Jeff.

Jeff tells Liz that they have similarities in that they are both twins. She asked him to tell her who told him. He didn't want to say. They are whispering in bed and Jeff pulls the covers over their head. Of course, Austin comes in and freaks out. Liz said Jeff looked so,scared that he was going to poop his pants. Jeff did not just won Austin's vote with that move. He was upset and full of rage that Liz would allow Jeff to pull the covers over them like that. She was supposed to be staying away from him. He makes a statement that he would sacrifice himself in the game to fill the emptiness in his heart. Dude needs some help. Liz thinks Austin is trying to manipulate her more than Jeff is.

The Votes
I think Jeff had a really nicely prepared speech...I was a little shocked that it was so coherent.

Jackie -- James
Austin -- Jeff
John -- James
Meg -- Jeff
Clay -- Jeff
Shelli -- Jeff
Steve -- James
Liz -- James
Jason -- Jeff
Becky -- Jeff
Audrey -- Jeff

By a vote of 7-4, Jeff is evicted. Very interesting split. Did anyone else catch in Liz and Julia's goodbye video that they said sorry for voting him out because it was better for their game? They voted for James. Their vote must have changed at the last minute. Jeff was not surprised they were twins, as He said he's really been studying them this week. He said one was more flirty with him and touched his butt and the other one did not.

Austin's video introduced Jeff to his alter ego Judas. He said no one comes between him and his twins. Jeff thought it was funny and openly flirted with Liz in front of Austin just because he knew it made him mad.

HOH Competition
They will watch a dance routine and they will answer true and false statements about what they saw.

Q1 - James, Jason, Steve, and Clay out
Q2 - Austin and Meg out
Q3 - Liz and Shelli are the only 2 to get it right, so they win HOH

Big Brother, Ep. 17.10

The Plan
Vanessa has to decide whether to target James, who is on the block, or go for Jeff, which would mean that they would need to change the nominees. Vanessa decides it will be easier to go with James. Austin thinks Jeff is the bigger threat, but since Vanessa wants to go with James, he will have to go along with it.

Vanessa and Austin assure Audrey that she doesn't have anything to worry about because they want to work with her. They actually hope she gets picked for the Veto, because if she did that would be the best scenario.

Austin works on Jeff and tells him that Vanessa is trustworthy and is talking about nothing but about how to get Audrey out. Jeff says that Shelli is not good for Clay and they should think about getting her out. The more Jeff talks, the more Austin said he is digging his own grave.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.9

The Confrontation Continues
We left off with Shawn confronting Nick. We all know this is not going to end well, right?

Well, that was pretty anti-climactic, wasn't it? We really only saw the same thing as last week. The only new thing was Nick bringing up the Eskimo brother thing. Shawn didn't deny it and just said how horrible he is to bring stuff like that up, and then he left.

Ben's Overnight Date
The go for a horse ride. They both talked to their horses...it was cute! And oh look, donkeys! They're so furry! Now they are chasing them down the hill and attacking Ben, oh my!

They ride to a castle for a picnic.  He said over the last few weeks he's started falling in love with her and he realized that it wasn't just the situation. The more he talks, the more I keep thinking that he is way too good for her and he deserves so much more. It's apparent that I seriously have a thing for him :)

She tells Ben that they are going to be having dinner inside the castle, and if all goes as planned (for her) they will be spending the night in the castle.

Kaitlyn said she can see a future with Ben and she thinks it would be a fun life.

Ben drops a bomb...he said he had a birthday on the show...he turned 26. She was shocked, as she realized that she's older than him (30). She said age wasn't an issue. He told her that she is the hottest older woman he's ever seen.

She looks so happy with him. He makes her smile, she makes him smile.

The Fantasy Suite card comes out. She said this is a big deal for her, but she wants to make sure that he is 100% sure about everything. He said they've never talked about this or any of the other people involved because he's confident in what they have. He said it would be super exciting, and he said it would be the best sleepover ever.

After their night together, she said she's more confused than ever because she had a great time with him. She didn't want to say goodbye to him.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.9

Post HOH Comp
Austin's alter-ego "Judas" has some plans that may or may not include going after Audrey like the rest of the house wants.

Vanessa reveals that Austin is the closest person to her in the house.

Jason is really worried because he has not spoken one word of game to either Austin or Vanessa.

Meg thinks this is going to be an easy week because everyone's agenda is the same: get Audrey out.

Jeff didn't realize that Austin won HOH, he thought Vanessa was HOH...he forgot that there were 2 HOHs. Oh my...get in the game buddy!

James thinks he is in trouble this week because he hasn't talked game with Vanessa.

Possible Targets
Audrey is the most likely target for the week, but Vanessa has other ideas. She thinks Jeff is a real threat in the game. She is also considering putting up James. She said that they will let the house think that they are still targeting Audrey and that will make it easy to backdoor someone else.

Austin is thrilled to be co-HOH with Vanessa because they are both on the same page and just hopes they can make their plan work. Um...Austin...I think you are on Vanessa's plan, because I seriously don't think you have a clue about anything in this game.

New Alliance
"Liz" told Vanessa that people have been talking about her being a twin. Vanessa asked her if it was true and Julia told her that it was and that her name was Julia. Julia hopes that Vanessa will work with her and Liz. Julia even revealed that the twins have to make it 5 weeks in order for them both to be in the game at the same time, and that they switch places every 3 days.

Vanessa is stoked that she has this information and proceeds to tell Julia what she needs to do to be more like Liz. She told her that Liz is funnier and flirtier and she told her that she has to eat more because she is way skinnier than Liz. They think they can get Shelli on their side. Vanessa approached both Shelli and Clay and told them about the twin twist. Shelli is so excited to "meet" Julia.

Vanessa then asks Austin if he's heard the rumors about Liz...he got a funny look on his face. She said the twin thing..he goes "huh?". Man, he wasn't kidding when he told Julie that he didn't have any idea what was going on in the house. He may want to start paying more attention if he hopes to make it in this game. He can't just rely on Vanessa to tell him everything. Austin then asks why it matters that she's a twin. Obviously he is not putting 2 and 2 together that they have actually both been playing the game as one person. He apparently just thought "oh, so she has a twin on the outside, big whoop".  At least he admitted in the DR that he's an idiot.

Finally, Austin thinks about things and realized that Liz and Julia did have some differences. He said he has a different connection with both of them. He kind of has a thing for Liz and now he wants to keep her safe more than ever.

...oh, and all of this happened BEFORE last Thursday's eviction. Not sure why they are showing us this out of order.

So, Julia switches out, and Liz comes back in. Everyone is so excited!! They come up with a name for their new alliance, and it is Sixth Sense. It is kind of interesting that they are kind of 3 sets of 2: Austin & Vanessa, Shelli & Clay, and Liz & Julia.

I have to say that I wasn't so crazy about Liz/Julia, but I think I am kind of liking this alliance of 6. I think they could be very strong...mostly because of Vanessa...we all know that Clay and Shelli haven't been the brightest so far in this game, even though they did manage to get out a big threat, which was Da'Vonne. Now, how can we get John in on this? That would be a perfect 7!

Detective Dentist and Doofus
John is talking to Jeff and Jackie and he said he asked "Liz" about the crown that she had on #9. She said "what crown?". He thought maybe she was just sensitive about it and didn't want to talk about it. John said he could tell because when she smiled (the other one) that the one tooth was slightly a different color than the others. Then, brilliant Jeff said, "So you're saying that there's just one Liz?". Oh my gosh Jeff, you idiot! John said "No, I'm saying maybe there's two." John said if he can get a good look at her teeth he could show him because that's not something that you can switch in and out. So, they decide to go talk to her.

He decides to make an imaginary camera with his hands and goes around to everyone snapping fake pictures. He tells Liz to smile...nothing. She said he was acting weird, John just kept staring at her weird, not able to get a good enough look.

Jeff decided to go talk to Austin about his suspicions. Jeff asked him if he noticed that sometimes Liz likes to work out with him and then sometimes she doesn't at all. He said he thinks she could be a twin and Austin pulled off the fakest surprised face ever. Jeff thought he was doing him a big favor by telling him this. Austin told him that he was so glad he told him because he isn't very good at this kind of thing. Jeff told him that one of them has a crush on him (Austin) and the other one has a crush on him (Jeff)...lol! Austin was like "yeah, I noticed that!". Jeff said they can use this as an advantage. He told Austin about John trying to figure out by looking at her teeth. Austin thinks that if Jeff keeps pressing this that he may need to go.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.8

Post Veto
Jason is devastated that his one and only in the house, Da'Vonne was nominated. Meg is upset because Da'Vonne is so nice.

Shelli is totally upset...not quite sure I understand why.

Last Laugh Twist
A British telephone booth shows up in the house. Kathi Griffin will be calling with 15 tips and only one of them will have the clue for how to win. We all know that it is call #7.

Call #1 - Jason - "be way less annoying"
Call #2 - Meg - "lose 10 lb"
Call #3 - Liz - "breath mints, lots of them"
Call #4 - John - "a little less suck you look like a suitcase" (I listened to this one a couple times, and I'm still not sure exactly what she said because his response was that he's one of the whitest people in the house. I thought she said either "suck" or "sock" and neither one makes sense.)
Call #5 - Vanessa - "try not sucking in competitions"
Call #6 - Jeff - "showers are supposed to be daily"
Call #7 - Da'Vonne - "start thinking about eviction night because you just won the power of the last laugh"...OK, so Clay wanted #7 because that's his lucky number, but Da'Vonne camped out in front of the door because 7 is her number too
Call #10 - Shelli - "burn your wardrobe because it's ugly"
Call #13 - Becky - "you may want to get more beauty sleep"
Call #15 - Clay - "deodorant was invented for a reason, ew"

Da'Vonne was ecstatic to tell Jason that she got it. This is the disaster that no one wanted to happen. She went on a mission to talk to everyone and get them to vote to keep her. Surprisingly, a lot of them said they would...but I'm hoping that they are all lying. Clay noticed how happy she was all of a sudden and he's pretty sure that she won the advantage. He knows his vote will be cut because she hates him. He knows she only said she wanted #7 because he said he wanted it.

Twin Twist

Big Brother, Ep. 17.7

Post-BOB Comp
Da'Vonne is ticked because she is sure that John threw the comp. She dragged him along and he didn't help at all. Meanwhile, John was stoked that he "did nothing!"...he said her strategy was just terrible.

Becky is OK with being dethroned because she had hoped to make new relationships as HOH and she felt like she did that. Now, she thinks Shelli is on board to continue with their plan of back-dooring Audrey. Little does she know, but Shelli actually wants Da'Vonne out instead.

Audrey eavesdrops on Vanessa, Jason, and James. No one was talking game with her, so she had to do what she had to do. She overheard them talking about whether Audrey or Da'Vonne was going to be the target.

Twin Twist, Switch #6
Julia is coming out, Liz is going in. Julia fills in Liz with who won the compettion and who is nominated.

Veto Player Draw

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.8

So, last week, we said goodbye to Chris (aka Cupcake). There are still 5 guys left: Shawn, Nick, Ben H., Joe, and Jared. By the end of the night, we should have the final 3, who will then go on overnight dates with Kaitlyn. And who knows, we might even be down to the final 2...their weird continued episodes have really thrown the normal schedule out of whack.

1-on-1 Date: Ben
Yay, Ben! Can't wait to see more of him :) He is just too adorable! I would love to see him as the next Bachelor...just sayin'. He can tell that she's still upset about letting Chris go on her last date.

They go for a paddle boat ride and then play hide-and-seek in some ancient ruins. She is the most horrible liar ever because she started laughing. So now we know that she makes a horrible dead person and a horrible liar.

She told him that he seems like husband material. She said being with him just feels good and feels right. He also thinks something good is happening between them, so he wants to be open and vulnerable, even though he feels he could get hurt. He tells her about being in love with his last girlfriend, and after that ended, his biggest fear is not being loved back and being unlovable. She said that blows her mind because she thinks he is totally a lovable person. She said she could be, and is, falling in love with him. He said he has zero doubts that he's falling in love with her too. He said she reinforces the fact that she would be there for him and be supportive of him.

She asked him what his thoughts were about the overnight date. He said he knows the emphasis is always on the physical, and that's not what it's about for him (yay Ben...I knew I loved you!). He said he respects her views on it, but he can't wait to spend more time with her and more time getting to know her. Needless to say (knowing Kaitlyn's history on the show thus far) she was surprised to hear this. She now wonders if he's a virgin and flat-out just asks him. They had a big laugh over his reaction, but he said, no, he's not, but he appreciates that she sees him as sweet and innocent. They kiss, and then she really ruins the moment and asks him about when he lost his virginity. Man, she is really obsessed with sex, isn't she?

3-on-1 Date: Joe, Nick, Shawn

Big Brother, Ep. 17.6

Power Duo
Shelli and Becky couldn't be a better matched duo-HOH combo. They are so similar and I think they get along really well. Let's hope they can pull off something big this week (aka get Audrey or Da'Vonne out).

They are both nervous about keeping Audrey in the game. They want to do 4 pawns in order to backdoor her. Other than that, they aren't really sure what to do. Shelli said she doesn't want Clay to go up. Becky said she could see putting Steve up because he kind of makes people uneasy by just showing up in different rooms when people are talking. The girls decide to gather some information from everyone and meet individually with all the houseguests.

Jason told Becky that he would be OK with her putting him up since he put her up last week. Austin told Becky that with Jace gone he feels like that is it for him and his biggest fear is being backdoored like he was. I'm sorry, but Austin has barely shown up on anyone's radar at this point. I don't think he has to worry about being backdoored, which is exactly what Becky told him. James told her to try to keep him safe. She said she likes him...she can't promise him anything, but he isn't a target. She told John they have a target and they are working on the 4 people to use as pawns. With most of the people she talked to, she didn't specifically name Audrey as the target, she just implied that they should know who the target is...as the "elephant in the house". With Steve, she did mention Audrey and told him to keep it quiet.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.5

Jace Freaks Out
Jace was definitely blindsided and caught off-guard by being backdoored. He was so visibly upset to the point he was almost crying. He had to put on his sunglasses to cover his eyes.

He clears the HOH Room to talk one-on-one to James. He said he thought they were good. He said he takes it personal because they talked and made deals. James tried to tell him that he didn't want to go up against him in competitions.

Audrey lied right to Jace's face and said she had no part in him ending up on the block. He didn't believe her for one second because he knows that she has bugs in everyone's ears. He knows that she is totally manipulative. He said if he goes home, he hopes the house catches on to her and sends her packing next.

Jace is not going down without a fight. He thinks he can rally enough support to keep him. He was telling this to Austin, and ended the convo with "I'll love you till forever." OK, that's just creepy.

Jace's biggest reason for staying was that he will always be a bigger target than everyone else. He got Liz and Vanessa to say that they would back him. Steve was super excited to give his support to Jace because he needs him. He made a big speech to about half the house and told them if they would support him that he would be indebted to them.

Audrey then decides to say that the entire house knew about the plan to backdoor him because he made them all uncomfortable. He said he doesn't believe that for a second and he knows he is up because of her. They got into a huge argument as he kept calling her a liar and she kept back-pedaling. He said if he stays he will be gunning for her, but she told him "you're going home."

I would love it if he could pull this off. The poor guy really was targeted for no reason. Yeah, he's a big physical threat to win competitions, but so far, his social and strategic gameplay has been non-existent. Like Jace said, Jackie doesn't really bring anything to the game. I would much rather watch someone who is unpredictable. James really missed an opportunity by backdooring Audrey instead of Jace. She would have been totally blindsided! Now she knows people will be coming for and they no longer have the element of surprise. She is a much bigger game threat than Jace. Opportunity totally blown on that one James. I think you will regret it. She already has rubbed everyone the wrong way because she's too involved, she's been caught in some lies, and on her own, decided to bring more people into the alliance.

Twin Twist

Big Brother, Ep. 17.4

New Power Alliance and Sub-Alliance
James forms an alliance with Meg. He then goes after Clay because he's from Texas and is a country boy. In the supply room, James confirms the alliance with Audrey and Clay. They then meet up in the HOH room as a group of 6 (James, Jason, Audrey, Clay, Da'Vonne, Meg).

The Cloud Town alliance was formed between James and Audrey, and Jace and Austin. Jace assured James that he was on his side and would do whatever he wanted to do.

Bro Talk
Jace decides to bring some laughs by streaking in the backyard. No one really batted an eye or paid him any attention. They were actually a little annoyed. Austin was worried that he was annoying people and drawing unnecessary attention to himself. How people perceive Jace reflects on him as well because they are friends. Austin kindly sat him down and basically told him to chill out.

Veto Picks
James draws Becky
Jackie draws John
Steve draws Houseguest Choice and chooses Jason (because he hasn't spent too much time bonding with him and he hopes to use this as a reason later on)
