Big Brother, Ep. 17.7

Post-BOB Comp
Da'Vonne is ticked because she is sure that John threw the comp. She dragged him along and he didn't help at all. Meanwhile, John was stoked that he "did nothing!"...he said her strategy was just terrible.

Becky is OK with being dethroned because she had hoped to make new relationships as HOH and she felt like she did that. Now, she thinks Shelli is on board to continue with their plan of back-dooring Audrey. Little does she know, but Shelli actually wants Da'Vonne out instead.

Audrey eavesdrops on Vanessa, Jason, and James. No one was talking game with her, so she had to do what she had to do. She overheard them talking about whether Audrey or Da'Vonne was going to be the target.

Twin Twist, Switch #6
Julia is coming out, Liz is going in. Julia fills in Liz with who won the compettion and who is nominated.

Veto Player Draw
Shelli draws Houseguest Choice and she picked Clay (big surprise)
John draws Meg
Da'Vonne draws Steve (she was less than thrilled with her pick)

Veto Comp: High Maintenance

5 rounds of head-to-head competition. Kathi Griffin (not present) is in her dressing room and is demanding 7 items from her assistant. The assistant will show up missing 1 item. They have to figure out what item is missing, run to the prop room and grab the missing item and be the first one to hit their button. If they are wrong, the other person wins. Each round, she lists different items...this could be really hard!

Round 1: John vs. Da'Vonne -- John wins! Woohoo!

Round 2: Steve vs. Clay -- Clay wins! Woohoo! This one was close. Steve said he actually didn't want to win because he is already tied for the most competition wins so he didn't want to bring any more attention to himself.

Round 3: Meg vs. Shelli -- Meg wins...womp womp. Meg was planning to throw the competition because she knows she was safe, however Shelli quickly buzzed in with the wrong item.

Round 4: John vs. Meg -- John wins easily! ...but again, Meg was throwing it.

Round 5: John vs. Clay -- Clay wins easily!

John wins POV! That means he can save himself. If Shelli is smart, she will put up Audrey as the replacement. That way it's a win/win! She can keep Becky and the others happy by looking like she is going with their plan. Whoever goes home, it doesn't matter...they both need to go. However, somehow, I feel like Shelli is going to do something stupid to try to ensure that it is Da'Vonne who goes.

Pre-Veto Ceremony
Clay and Shelli talk to Shelli and try to push their idea to go for Da'Vonne instead of Audrey. They said they feel about Da'Vonne the way she feels about Audrey. Shelli said that Becky has a chance to win HOH next week to be safe and she doesn't. Becky said she trusted them and is OK with whatever they want to do. I hope she isn't just saying that.

I can't believe that they are seriously trying to convince John not to use the POV. That poor guy...they keep asking him for EVERYTHING. First he has to throw it, now he has to NOT use the POV to save himself. The look on his face as they are pitching the idea to him is hilarious. It's almost like he doesn't believe what they are asking him to do. He's a smart guy, he knows that pawns go home...especially pawns WHO DON'T SAVE THEMSELVES! I'm sorry, I love you Clay, but let the man have this, he earned it! Clay told him that if he felt uncomfortable about it at all that he should just say no. SAY NO JOHN!!!! Clay swears he can list the votes that they have that will keep him safe. HOWEVER, they are all forgetting about Kathi Griffin's "Last Laugh" twist this week. They don't know what it is, but we all know that it gives someone the power to knock 3 people out of the vote this week. They are going to be so screwed and feel so horrible if he listens to them and then goes home.

John basically said no (I hope he sticks with that), and he didn't care who went up. He thinks Da'Vonne would go next to anyone. Shelli thinks Liz would be a good option. Liz was shocked that she wanted to use her. She said she would take one for the team. Austin doesn't want to lose Liz, so he's hoping to keep her safe.

At 5 a.m., Meg, Jason, James, and Jeff for some reason all cram into one bed and start giggling. Austin sees this and decides to plant some seeds to get Meg on the block instead of Liz. I'm totally OK with that. But I'm also OK with it being Liz, so either one will work. Austin tells Vanessa that he heard that group talking about flipping on Clay and Shelli. Austin then tells Clay and Shelli that if they would put up "sweet" Meg, there's no way anyone would vote her out over Da'Vonne because their group would have to choose between 2 of their own.

Audrey whines to Clay about having no one and being abandoned. He basically told her she brought it all on herself. She wanted to make sure that they didn't put her up as the replacement because she felt like she was the target. Clay said that she is staying because of them and because they are trusting her. She said he was being condescending and that he was telling her that she could stay in the house if she did what they want. He told her not to put words in his mouth. He said if she starts to second guess him and Shelli then they would come after her. She said "Are you fu***** kidding me?" He said the whole house wants her gone.

Clay went and talked to Shelli and he said that he doesn't trust Audrey at all. Shelli said she could talk to her and tell her that she is being pressured to put her up.

Veto Ceremony
Whew! John saved himself! Way to go Johnny boy! Smart, smart, smart!

Shelli puts up Meg as the replacement nominee.

I would have been happier with Audrey, but Meg will do. I guess this way, hopefully Audrey will stay loyal to Clay and Shelli...but I'm not holding my breath.
