Big Brother, Ep. 17.15

Mission: Save the Twins aka "Operation Jason"
Austin wants to make sure the twins are safe with his alliance and with the rest of the house this week. They only need to survive one more eviction for them both to get to be in the house at the same time. Austin's plan is to basically pull Jason in. He knows Jason has known about the twins since the beginning and he wants to confide in Jason...something about being worried the twins are going to stick together and him needing to have someone else on his side? Honestly, I did not understand what he was saying about this plan.

When Liz switched with Julia she told him of Austin's plan, and Julia immediately said she didn't think it was a good idea.

So, Austin talks to Jason before the eviction. He said he is close with Liz and he said "unfortunately that person isn't able to be here all the time". Jason picked up on his not-so-subtle hint. Jason wonders how Austin telling him this benefits him. Austin said he wanted to open up to someone about the whole thing because he was going to explode. Jason asked if he knew what the other one's name was, and Austin told him. In the DR Jason says "Julia. It has a name, it's not just Liz #2, it's Julia." LOL!

Austin said he really likes Liz, but he only gets to see her every 3 days. He would like to work with the other one, too. Jason said they could both be coming into the house because in Season 5 that's what happened. Austin said ultimately he would like to break up the twins and only keep one because they will always stick together and choose each other over him. Jason said they could take Liz with them to jury and leave Julia. Austin was fine with that, but ultimately he does want to work with the twins for as long as possible, and ultimately his heart belongs to one of them, and that's Liz. So wait, I rewound this several times to listen to what Jason said. He said they would take Liz with them to jury. That makes no sense. So what, they expect none of them are going to make the final and just assume they are all going to jury? So, he just wants to go to jury to be with Liz?

Jason spills the beans to his BFF Meg. He said Austin only likes Liz and was trying to sell Julia out.

Austin's plan backfires and Jason says he now has the needed amo to go after Austin and "the Lizes" because they were going to be targets regardless. He tracks down Shelli to tell her. He said Austin told him because he was trying to build a bridge between them. They all are shocked to find out exactly what Austin is doing -- which is trying to keep Liz safe this week by selling out Julia. Of course Shelli already knew all this and is furious that Austin blew it with only one week to go. They then bring in Vanessa and they told her what Austin told them. Shelli and Vanessa were very good at pretending that this was all brand new and shocking information. So now Vanessa is ticked at Austin, too. The guy is just not very smart, let's face it.

Shelli fills in Clay on the fiasco. Clay is dumbfounded that Austin would be so stupid. Shelli and Vanessa think that they should tell Liz what Austin has done so that they can prove to the twins that they are looking out for them and are loyal.

Vanessa then talks to Jackie. Jackie said she was thinking of putting up Liz and Steve. Vanessa didn't want to say anything so that it wouldn't seem like she was working with Liz. Vanessa said she took her main pick (Liz). She said she is starting to not trust Liz or Austin. Jackie asked if she would be OK with Liz, Austin, or Steve going home and she said yes. Jackie said she would like to stay HOH and Vanessa said if they could work something out, she could have at it.

Vanessa then confronts Austin. He said that Jason brought up the twins to him and HE said that he doesn't want to target the twins. He said he likes Liz and doesn't like Julia. Um...no...that was YOU who said that! Vanessa isn't buying a word of it and immediately knows he's lying. So many bad liars in this house! Lie and you WILL be caught! Vanessa said he was going to do damage to himself if he keeps talking to people. She also warned him not to ever lie to her. She specifically warned him not to let Jackie know that the two of them were working together. Well, let's see how long it is before he comes up with a dumb reason to justify telling Jackie.

Vanessa talked to Julia and told her that Austin isn't thinking clearly. She wondered if Liz really truly had feelings for Austin and she said she doesn't think so. Vanessa then asked her if she told her something if she would be the type of person to freak out or if she could keep it to herself. Julia said she could be cool about it. So, Vanessa tells her everything that Jason said. Julia couldn't believe what Austin did. Her blood was boiling! She was sick and said "you mess with one sister you mess with both of us, and she doesn't really like you, so joke's on you!". She said "I loathe him." Julia swore that she wouldn't tell Liz because she didn't want her to come in mad at him.

Vanessa filled Clay and Shelli in on Austin's lies to her. He has now been cut out of the circle of trust. Vanessa knew she would eventually have to pick a couple to side with, and she is now #Team Clelli and she is breaking up with #Team Liztin. Clelli has proven to be loyal while time and time again Austin has proven to have loose lips, poor judgment, and be totally untrustworthy.

Nomination Plan
Vanessa, Shelli, Clay, and Jackie talk about who to put up. Jackie is for sure going to put up Liz, but they can't decide who to put her up with. They need someone they can trust to throw the BOB. Oh, gee, I wonder who that might be?! They said it needs to be someone weak. Jackie mentioned Meg, but she couldn't do that to her.

Vanessa didn't know who to put up because they need 2 strong competitors who can definitely win. Clay says "what about if I go up against Becky". NO CLAY! What are you thinking?! Never, ever, ever volunteer to go on the block! Vanessa said this would be a good week to do be put up because it isn't that risky. It could be a good move to get further in the game because it would throw some suspicion around that they are all working together if she would put up Clay. Shelli could act all mad at her to make it more convincing.

They just need to get Becky on board with the plan. Jackie asked Becky if she would want to go up. Becky said no. Jackie said, what if you were up with Clay? She was like, maybe. Jackie said Clay wanted to go up with her and he was going to be on the winning side and she was like, yeah. Boy, she really came around to that idea rather quickly, didn't she? Jackie told her that everyone was on the same page and everyone was working together. This all sounds great, but competitions are never a sure thing. You can't guarantee a win no matter who is playing and who is on board to throw it. Bad things sometimes happen. If Clay and Becky don't win this, I'm going to be really upset!

Jackie tells the group that Becky is OK with going on the block. So now it's time to get the pawn to go up next to Liz. Vanessa pulls together Jackie, Jason, James, and Meg and tells them that everyone thinks she is working with Austin and Liz, but she isn't anymore because Austin betrayed her. Because of the twin twist, and Austin being their main alliance. It would be best to have Austin go home first and then the twins. Austin is a better backdoor target and he has no idea this is coming. Jason is stressing because he said he would never throw anything. Vanessa said that James put up Jackie so it would be very logical for her to put up James. Immediately Jason is relieved and said "a pawn for a pawn, sir." James said it didn't matter to him and they could do what they want. Vanessa shook hands with all of them to assure them that she was being 100% honest about the plan. They just all need to make sure that no one tells Austin that James is throwing the comp. Everyone has sort of agreed to a final 8 deal. So, those 8 would be: Vanessa, Clay, Shelli, Jackie, James, Jason, Meg, and Becky. And, I guess it's now official because Jason suggests the alliance name of Dark Moon.

Oh wait, I just now realized! Johnny Mac is getting the week off! After 4 weeks of being a pawn, he doesn't have to do it this week! The bad thing is...he's not in this new Top 8 Dark Moon alliance. That's not good! Steve isn't either, but really, who cares...Steve is barely on the show as it is.

Vanessa told Austin that Jackie is not putting him up but she is putting Liz up and there's nothing she can do. She said her backdoor target is Steve (not sure who would believe this, but apparently Austin does and said that's good). She then had to come up with a reason why some of their people were going on the block.  She said either Clay or Shelli had to go up because neither of them have been up yet. She said she is hoping to get one of them to volunteer, and this is a good week for one of them to go up because it's under her reign and she can help control who goes up with him. Austin starts getting suspicious and says that Clay and Becky would most likely win...which obviously wouldn't be good for Liz. Austin asks why Jackie wouldn't just put Steve on the block to begin with. She said because if one of them comes off the block, who's she going to put up? Austin jokes that the hero in him wants to say he will volunteer to go up on the other side against Liz and lose to save her...Vanessa said that's stupid.

Nominations
Jackie nominates: Liz and James -- they each put her on the block so she's returning the favor

Vanessa nominates: Clay and Becky -- she tried to be fair - Clay hasn't won HOH and hasn't been nominated and she hopes Becky is mature enough to take this as the game move that it is

Johnny Mac is ecstatic that he isn't on the block this week! He doesn't know what to do with himself for the week.

Julia hopes she can trust Jackie, who told her that she wasn't the target.

Twin Switch
Julia is not going to tell Liz about what Austin has done because she wants her head to be clear when she plays in the BOB. Liz is devastated to learn that she is on the block with James. And is even more devastated when she finds out she is playing against Clay and Becky, aka "Team America". Julia told her that she should only trust Vanessa because she's the only one who has their backs. Liz said Austin does too. Julia smirked and was like, um yeah. Liz was like, why?! She said she didn't know, she just wasn't getting good vibes from Austin and wanted to move on quickly before she pried for more information.

Battle of the Block Competition
Pictures of last season's houseguests are posted in the BB Newsroom. They will get headlines about former houseguests and they have to figure out which 3 the headline is referring to. They have to splash paint on the walls and their clothing to reveal letters. They will use those letters to unscramble 3 names.

James is determined to make it look like he's trying, but not trying. He said he must look nuttier than a squirrel turd...lol!! Liz quickly realizes that James is not the sharpest crayola in the box and that she is going to have to be the brains of the operation. James is scrambling and saying they need to find more letters and numbers...numbers, ha!

Clay and Becky look like they are making some good progress, but their answer is wrong. They make changes and are wrong again, and again. Come on guys! Oh this is so nervewracking!

Liz and James are wrong. He's worried because Liz is smart and she might just figure this out without his help and there won't be anything he can do about it.

It's a race as Clay and Becky finally realize they are missing Christine's name. They stumble and my worst fear is now a reality...Liz and James win. You've got to be kidding me! See Clay, this is why you don't volunteer!!!!!

James, Liz, and Vanessa win an Outback Steakhouse dinner.
