Survivor, Ep. 25.7

The tribes are merging! What, already? I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing. Now we don't get to see how having no rice was going to affect Kalabaw.

Time to set up the new camp. The men work on the shelter. Lisa thought she would do a good deed by laying out everyone's wet clothes so they could dry. And what did she find? MALCOLM'S IDOL! Yikes! Once he saw the clothes laying out, he knew that she now knew his secret. Time for some damage control. I love that he called her the Church Lady...haha! She really was innocent, but boy it didn't look good.

There's so many deals going on right now, my head is spinning! Who's with who? Who knows about who's idol?

Individual Immunity up for grabs for one man and one woman...here we go!

Skupin is casualty #1 followed by Pete. Come on Pete...you can do better than that! And, Penner is out! And Malcolm basically gave up...what's up with that. Did he not want to look too strong since he's been winning a lot of things lately? Denise wins immunity for the women (not a surprise at all). 3 men left: Artis, Carter and Jeff. Artis is out and it's down to Jeff and Carter. And a little deal-making begins. Jeff decides to drop out and give it to Carter. I hope that was a good idea. Yay for Denise, who can finally take a breather at Tribal.

According to Artis, the plan is as follows. They will split the votes between Penner and RC. If Penner doesn't play the idol, he'll go home. If he plays the idol, RC will go home.

RC thinks that she and Skupin are with the Kalabaw 4. Jeff's not so sure he wants to align with 2 veterans. Penner is so trusting...has he learned nothing in the 3 times he's played this game?

It's so unreal that they are at the merge, there is a whole tribe that has never been to Tribal! And poor Denise has been to every single one.

Time for the votes and I'm wondering where in the world Pete's name came up. Oh no! That's not good. Time to reveal and Penner's idol is flushed out!

Penner received the most votes, but they didn't count. Pete somehow received 2 votes from RC and Penner....not sure where that came from. However, RC received more votes and got her torch snuffed. It was time, she was annoying and created drama.

Next week's preview: Penner is on the warpath because he was severly betrayed...should be great TV!

The Voice, Ep. 3.16

Team Christina: Devyn vs Laura

Devyn's good and she definitely hit all the big notes in that Whitney song. However, it's a song that's been done so many times and sounded exactly like that.

Laura is different, and I love the Marc Anthony song and I think she killed it! I love that she threw in some Spanish. She won that battle hands down!

Winner: Devyn (Well, Christina made her first wrong choice of the night.)

Team Christina: Adriana vs Celica

I love Adriana's choice of Kelly Clarkson's "Already Gone". I think she'll do really well. Whoa that note at the end was crazy! I think she did very well, but I still think it could have been better.

Celica also made a great choice with the Justin Bieber song. Wow, she has a unique voice! I really, really like it! Soooo good! She's definitely my pick, which means Christina will go with Adriana because she apparently wants her whole team to sound exactly the same.

Winner: Adriana (I knew it! Christina is 0-2.)

Team Christina: Alessandra vs Dez
I'm Team Dez all the way! But...he's a guy, so he doesn't fit Christina's "girls only" club she's forming.

Alessandra really needs to work on her low notes. She is just ok...nothing special at all. Boring!

Totally not crazy about Dez's Lionel Richie song choice, that's probably going to be his downfall...that and the fact that he's a guy. Oh why didn't he choose a better song? He could have made it a no-brainer for Christina, but with this, I don't think he did enough. Also, very boring.

Winner: Dez (I'm absolutely shocked!)

Team Christina: Chevonne vs De'borah
Darn it, I want both of these gone, but since they are going against each other, one of them has to stay. I'm so torn, who can I tolerate? Don't know. They both annoy me so greatly!

Chevonne's voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I hate her look and her style. Nothing positive about her obnoxious performance for me. Anyone can scream and jump around like she just did.

De'borah at least has a decent voice. Her look annoys me, but this is The Voice, so she would have to be my choice. You know what that means...Christina will go with Chevonne, because she's been in love with her from the beginning.

Winner: De'borah (What?! Shocked again! Shocked, but happy Chevonne is finally gone!)

Team Christina: Aquile vs Sylvia
Go Aquile!

Aquile chose an awesome song. He's amazing and I know this is the perfect song for him to have a big moment. I absolutely love his voice, he's so good!

Sylvia was very risky by choosing a Christina song. Wow, she sounds a lot like Christina on this! She's very good, but a little pitchy, and she started to run out of air at the end. I sure hope Christina isn't swayed by the fact that she's singing her song.

Winner: Sylvia (I'm so bummed that we are losing Aquile! Come on Christina, geez!)

Team Blake: Gracia vs Liz
I had a feeling he would pair these 2. I really can't stand Liz and I like Gracia, so fingers crossed that Blake does the right thing!

I like that Gracia is taking a risk and doing something different. I'm afraid that because it's a much slower song than Liz's that it will be too boring. She did have some pitch issues, but she isn't near as annoying or stuck up as Liz.

Oh my gosh Liz, "Gun Powder and Lead" by Miranda Lambert? How totally typical, obvious and sneaky, singing Blake's wife's song. Don't fall for it Blake...she's not that good! I think she has a huge personality on stage and that's going to be hard for Blake to say no to. Unfortunately she did outsing Gracia. This was probably her best performance so far.

Winner: Liz (No big surprise there.)

Team Blake: Rudy vs Terry
Go Terry!!!

Rudy made an interesting choice with Chris Brown's "Forever". I really like his voice, but his song choice could hurt him. He's a rocker and this is R&B. I'm not sure the whole thing worked, it was just kind of odd.

Terry, man his voice is just something else. He is amazing. I love him! If Blake wants a rocker, he's your guy no doubt about it.

Winner: Terry (Woohoo!!!)

Team Blake: Colin vs Michaela
What an interesting pairing. I've been a fan of both of them.

I think The Script is a perfect choice for Colin. He sounds great on this song. He's got a really unique voice and he's got a few different sounds.

Of course Michaela's going to be great on a song like "Love is a Battlefield". She didn't do anything original with it, but it was still good.

Winner: Michaela

Team Blake: Julio vs MarissaAnn

Julio and a Justin Bieber song? I don't know if it's going to work. I hope it's not the reason he goes home. It actually sounded really good. A couple of iffy parts, but he's got such a good voice any way.

MarissaAnn is going all out on "Lady Marmalade" That ending was killer! I think she just killed Julio.

Winner: Julio (Whoa, shocker! I really thought she deserved the win with that performance.)

Team Blake: Cassadee vs. Suzanna
Can I just ask why Cassadee has to be last in every round? She was on one of the last audition round episodes, and the last battle round episode (and we didn't even get to see the whole song :/), and now she's in the last group and the last performance of the knockouts. I love her and hate having to wait to see her every time. Go Cassadee!!! Everyone loves Suzanna so much...I'm really worried!

I couldn't be happier with Cassadee's song choice: "Payphone" by Maroon 5=awesome! Her voice is something I've never heard before, it is just so clean and powerful. She actually sounded nervous at the beginning...oh no! But, once she hit that chorus, look out! I love how she made some slight changes to the song. It sounded so amazing, and what better feedback than to have the song's original singer (Adam Levine), say that he was impressed.

I have to hope that Suzanna's Bob Marley is just too boring. Her voice is so unique, and the song was so risky, I can see Blake wanting to keep her.

Winner: Cassadee (I'm such a happy girl right now!!!! Thank you Blake for seeing just how amazing she is. Suzanna would have been my pick next to just about anyone else, so I am a little sad to see her go, but I would like to thank her for her risky song choice, otherwise, things could have ended differently.)

The Voice, Ep. 3.15

The Knockout Rounds start tonight, and I think they could be brutal! No more steals!

Here's how it works: the singers choose their own songs. On the performance night, their coach will put them up against another singer from their team. This time they won't be singing together. After both have performed, the coach must pick one.

Team Adam: Joselyn vs Kayla
I've loved Kayla since the beginning, so I'm hoping she comes away with the win.

Joselyn is up first. Don't like her song choice, but she's singing it pretty good, but there are some definite pitch issues.

I don't like Kayla's song either. I think she performed better than Joselyn, but it definitely wasn't her best.

Winner: Joselyn

Team Adam: Joe vs Bryan
I love Joe!!!!

Joe is singing Taylor Swift...oh boy...but I bet he's gonna kill it. I just love his voice. Guess what, he just made me like a Taylor Swift song!

Bryan's going a totally different way with a slow Bryan Adams song. He's also so good! How is Adam going to choose, they both should go through!!!

Winner: Bryan (I'm so sad to lose Joe, we need a punk rocker in the competition. If Bryan wasn't so good, I'd really be bummed.)

Team Adam: Amanda vs Michelle
I'm not a huge fan of either, so I can finally breathe easy for this one. They are both very talented, so it should be a good battle. I'm leaning towards Amanda though.

I love Amanda's song choice...so different for her, but I think she can rock it. She's a little too screechy in places, but overall very good.

I hate Michelle's song choice...not a fan of Jennifer Hudson. So, she's pretty much killing the song, and I'm guessing Adam will pick her.

Winner: Amanda (wow)

Team Adam: Loren vs Nicole

Loren is going all out with an Amy Winehouse song. Even though we really haven't seen her yet, I'm rooting for her! She's got a very interesting voice. It's so clean and sharp, I love it! That ending was ridiculous! Don't even bother singing Nicole.

Nicole picks one of my all-time hated songs. Can't stand it. Such a boring song. Adam already has Amanda, he doesn't need Nicole. She didn't do anything spectacular with that.

Winner: Loren (woohoo!)

Team Adam: Melanie vs Sam
Go Sam!!! Let's be rid of Melanie already! It's been all about Melanie for so long, Sam's going to really have to be good and she would really have to suck.

Melanie picked a great song, let's see if she can deliver anything different than what we've heard so far. Love "Bulletproof" from La Roux. I think she's basically a one-trick pony. It's pretty good, but not great...I was hoping for more.

Walking in Memphis, really? Might as well just give Melanie the win. He's got such a great voice, it doesn't matter if the song sucks.

Winner: Melanie (yuck!)

Team Cee Lo: Avery vs Cody
I love them both, I don't want to lise either! If I had to choose, I think I would choose Cody because he is so funny and different.

I don't know that Avery's song choice is very risky, it's pretty safe. I think his dancing is making him a little pitchy. Kid can dance, though.

I absolutely love Cody's song choice of "Jolene". He starts out so haunting, I love it! He is absolutely nailing it! I will be devastated if he doesn't continue.

Winner: Cody (yes!)

Team Cee Lo: Mackenzie vs Daniel
Not even a choice on this one...Daniel stinks! Cee Lo is dumb and I'm afraid he's going to make the wrong choice on this one.

Mackenzie: love, love, love this kid! He. Must. Win. No doubt about it, he must beat Daniel. Mackenzie is so different, he needs to stick around. I love the way he arranges his songs and makes them into sonething new.

I do not know how Daniel made it past the blinds and he never should have beaten Alexis in the Battle Rounds. He's not good! And then he picks Taylor Swift...yeah, that will make me like you...not! It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Definitely his best performance, but he's not in the same league as Mackenzie.

Winner: Mackenzie (yes!!!!)

Team Adam: Terisa vs Trevin
This one will be a tough one. They should both be pretty evenly matched. I like Trevin better though, I gotta say. I like his story and he's just so talented for an 18 year old.

Not a shocker that Terisa picks a Whitney song. When you pick a song like that, you don't really make anyone that excited to see what you are going to do next. The song was just so boring!

Again, another boring song, but at least he did something with it and made it a little more exciting. I would pick Trevin. For his age, this dude can sing like it's nobody's business. And he made Cee Lo cry!

Winner: Trevin (Another right choice by Cee Lo...he's on a roll!)

Team Cee Lo: Mycle vs Nicholas
Obviously my choice is Mycle. Not a fan of the old-fashioned Nicholas. However, Cee Lo is in love with him, so Mycle has an uphill battle.

Very interesting and modern song choice for Nicholas, "Put Your Records On" by Corinne Bailey Rae. I have such a hard time watching him sing. I enjoy it a lot better when I close my eyes. It was a very interesting performance of that song...it actually kind if worked...I hate to admit it. He's still not my kind of music though.

Great song choice for Mycle's voice. I absolutely love his voice. He performed that song so beautifully.

Winner: Nicholas (I was afraid of that, I'm gonna miss Mycle.)

Team Cee Lo: Diego vs Caitlin
Tough choice. Diego's gonna have to kill it, he's been a little inconsistent.

Love Caitlin's Evanescence song choice, it's perfect for her. She performed it very well. It wasn't much different than the original, but she sang the heck out of it.

I'm not loving Diego's song at all. I know he can sing, but this was not the right song for him at all. I think it's time for him to go. Not only was the song horrible, but his vocals were not good at all.

Winner: Diego (Are you kidding me? I don't get that choice at all.)

The Amazing Race, Ep. 21.5

Roadblock: make a scale to balance rocks and wood

NN ended up passing up AR, who happened to misinterpret the clue that said "lightweight" so Abbie thought she could do it. I can't count how many times Ryan said "I should have done this". I love how Jaymes was having fun talking to locals while he was putting his scale together. He made up some good time because his dad's a carpenter.

Trey did an awesome job and team TL passed up RK by just a little and left JB in the dust. Brent just couldn't figure it out, and then started to feel sick.

Detour: Straw Dogs or Bamboo Jungle
That had to be so hard to maneuver those long bamboo poles in such tight areas, and the poles were so long! I wonder how many people they killed with those things.

In the midst of trying to tie their load, JJ tossed a couple poles to the ground, which then got mixed up with TL's poles. JJ pedaled away while the camera shows 3 poles on the ground...oh no!!! Upon arriving and being told about their mistake, the guys are exhausted. Now we just have to hope that JB struggle and/or get lost.

The standings at Pitstop #5:
1. James & Abba
2. Abbie & Ryan
3. Natalie & Nadiya
4. Rob & Kelley
5. Trey & Lexi
6. Jaymes & James
7. Josh & Brent

Josh and Brent get lucky, and it's a non-elimination, which I was afraid of. Speed bump ahead for those 2.

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 15.10

I can't wait for the "Gangnam Style" group freestyle, I think it's going to be awesome!

Melissa & Tony-Tango
Interesting mad scientist theme for their Britney Spears "Toxic" routine. I hate her wig! It made her look like a different person dancing, and I don't really like it for some reason. She danced it well, of course, though.
27

Shawn & Derek-Rumba
Titanic! OH. MY. GOSH!!! Derek, you made me cry! First his very sweet heart-to-heart with Shawn about opening up, being vulnerable and showing emotion, and then he's dressed as Jack and disappears into the fog at the end. Wow! Interesting that they danced on an elevated stage that looked maybe like a black iceberg? I thought maybe they would get in trouble for not using the entire, normal dancefloor. But no, instead, Carrie Ann considered the big, dramatic, romantic run/catch a lift. And then Len said there was no hip action and he didn't think it was a rumba. Geesh! That dance was epic...appreciate it!
27 (10 from Bruno!)

Apolo & Karina-Samba
So hot! Nailed the samba rolls! That was awesome, loved it. The song and the dancing just made me smile. I don't know what Carrie Ann was watching, I can't believe she didn't like it.
27

Sabrina & Louis-Waltz
She looks like Cinderella, but boy is that the most boring song ever? Yuck! It was nice to see her do something different for a change, but I don't think it's winning any votes. And neither is Carrie Ann with all her harsh comments tonight!
29 (a 10 from Carrie Ann...seriously??? It wasn't that good)

Team "Gangnam Style": Emmitt, Gilles, Kirstie, Kelly

This group has a lot of different opinions! Not really getting along too well. But it's still going to be awesome. I love the outfits! Emmitt's hips are so funny in this dance. "It's so wild, we're all going to end up in an institution" ha Kirstie!

AAAAAAH! That was hilarious! Gilles, oh my! That's all I can say. The solos all left much to be desired. There wasn't much dancing. Gille's was good and I loved Emmitt's homage to Drew's "Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy". It was sooo entertaining, but dance-wise, they got whooped by Team "Call Me Maybe".
27 I agree with the score, it should not have been as high as the other team and it wasn't.

X Factor: Top 16

Who's in and who's out of the Top 16?

The Teens-Britney Spears

In: Diamond White, Carly Rose Soneclar,
Arin Ray, Beatrice Miller

Out: James Tanner and Reed Deming

My Thoughts: I'm ecstatic that Carly and Diamond are through. I'm also really excited for Beatrice, because shez.s really grown on me the ladt couple weeks. I could go either way on Arin. I'm not sure why the judges love him so much. I'm not really surprised that Reed didn't make it, I just don't think he's quite ready. James didn't surprise me at all, he wasn't that good. So, overall, I think Britney did a great job with her choices...but they weren't that difficult to decide.

The Over 25s-L.A. Reid

In: David Correy, Jason Brock, Tate Stevens, Vino Allen

Out: Daryl Black and Tara Simon

My Thoughts: I am so, so, so happy that Vino and David made it!!! They were so far out of the rest of this group's league, that it isn't even funny. I think Jason has a really good voice, I just hope that he doesn't get annoying. Tate really just sounds like any other Country singer out there...nothing special, so I would not have picked him. Daryl isn't outstanding, but I think he'd better than Tate. And then there's Tara. How excited am I that she is GONE!!!! She never should have made it past the audition round, let alone to the judges house. She took a valuable spot that should have belonged to the awesome Jeffrey Gutt. Overall, I'm pretty happy with L.A.'s choices. Vino and David were must-haves and Tara was a must-not, so I'm happy.

Young Adults-Demi Lovato

In: Jennel Garcia, Willie Jones, CeCe Frey, Paige Thomas

Out: Jillian Jenson and Nick Youngerman

My Thoughts: I love Jennel, I'm so happy for her! I have to say I'm a little surprised and disappointed that Jillian didn't make it. I would have maybe picked her over Willie or maybe even Paige. I think Paige is an amazing singer, but she's a little too boring. Nick was not a surprise.

The Groups-Simon Cowell

In: Emblem3, Lyric 145, Sister C, Lylas

Out: Playback and Dope Crisis

My Thoughts: I'm definitely excited about Lylas. I think they are absolutely amazing. Emblem3 is pretty good, but I think they are being overrated...they're not THAT good. Lyric 145 is okay, but not my cup-o-tea. Sister C had a good audition, but I've been underwhelmed by them ever since. My pick would have absolutely been Playback! I can't believe Simon didn't stand behind them. He's had so much success with the stereotypical boyband in the past. Saying that Emblem3 fills that niche is a joke! They are NOT a boyband! The people who would vote for Emblem3 are not the same people who would vote for Playback. I think they deserved a shot. Dope Crisis? Not even worth mentioning...who were they?

Survivor, Ep. 25.6

Paranoia is running rampant on Kalabaw. The cause? Penner suspiciously taking his bag to Tribal...now they all think he has the idol.

On Tandang, Skupin is eating the tribe out of house and home. He is their main target.

Reward Challenge:
Messy, muddy challenge! Yuck! Teams of 3 try to roll a huge ball to score 3 pts.

Lisa took down Denise! You go girl!

Penner and Skupin end up in a very strange, uncomfortable, awkward position! Immediately, flashes of Steve Martin and John Candy in Planes, Trains and Automobiles appear in my mind..."Those aren't pillows!".

The first round lasted over an hour! The people on the sidelines just sit and wait. Wow...this is crazy! Since nothing is happening, they start to negotiate a deal. If Kalabaw is allowed to win the food reward, Tandang will get all of Kalabaw's rice. Unprecidented! Absolutely crazy!

I'm happy for Denise, she finally gets a reward!

Will this be a momentum shift for Kalabaw? Or will the loss of the rice be too detrimental?

As another part of the reward, they also get letters from home.

Back on Tandang, Artis is sooo not Ok with Skupin's decision to concede the challenge (even though everyone essentially agreed). I really like Artis, it's too bad we haven't seen more of him. He's really funny.

Penner thought he would be able to catch fish to make up for the rice they gave up. He almost catches a stingray, but only comes up with 2 puny fish. Carter is afraid he's going to waste away to nothing.

Immunity Challenge:
By Rock, Paper, Scissors, it's decided that Skupin will sit out, and big surprise, Abi sits out AGAIN.

Jeff is catching everything! Again, Katie is "completely ineffective", in Jeff's words.

Malcolm makes an AWESOME catch!! And then gets the winning catch against Jeff!

Kalabaw is now off to Tribal. If they want any chance of winning, Katie has got to go. Carter might have been out-matched by Malcolm, but Katie was awful. Unfortunately, Penner's name is also on the chopping block. Jeff is sneaky and thinks they need to pull the "Penner Punch". Carter asks Penner what he thinks, but he just about blows the whole thing! Carter said "What do you think Penner? Katie or Penner...I mean...Katie or Denise". Haha...that was a close one Carter!

At Tribal, Jeff asks Penner why he didn't raise his hand that he was worried about going home tonight. He says it's because he doesn't want to offer the impression that he's worried, because everyone might think that they should vote him out. Doesn't him explaining that do exactly the same thing? Haha!

Biggest blindside of the game coming up? It looks like it might just happen. If so, Penner will be doing exactly what he didn't want to do: go home with the idol in his pocket.

Whew! Penner dodged a bullet! The tribe votes out Katie. He sure did get quite the surprise when his name was read once.

The Voice, Ep. 3.14

Adriana vs Jordan-Team Christina
I don't really agree with Christina's directions to them about really taking liberties amd trying to make it their own. It was just vocal runs all over the place! Way too over-done in my opinion. Half the time they were screaming and way pitchy. I don't think either of them had the edge. I am not impressed with either of them to be honest. The Winner: Adriana

Kelly vs Michaela-Team Blake
I really like Michaela's voice. Kelly surprised me, because I don't think I cared much for her audition. She really brought it! I expected it from Michaela, but Kelly, wow! She really brought the attitude. I think I might have to give it to Kelly, but I have a feeling that he will pick Michaela. The Winner: Michaela

Avery vs Chevonne-Team Cee Lo
Can I just say how much I love Avery? And, can I say how much I can't stand Chevonne? She's really, really annoying. Judging by the time left in this episode, we know that this will be the last battle and we know that Christina will steal the loser, so we know that both of them are going to continue. Avery's voice is so smooth and silky, I love it. Chevonne's voice...it's like nails on a chalkboard and it really bothers me. I never thought she should have made it out of the blind auditions in the first place. She does a LOT of screaming and when she screams she goes way off key. I'm so glad both Adam and Blake liked Avery more. And of course Christina liked Chevonne more...duh! Cee Lo should absolutely pick Avery, because obviously the lesser Chevonne belongs on Christina's team of mediocre women. The Winner: Avery! Woohoo! And as expected, Christina picks Chevonne.

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 15.9

Can I get a "HALLELUJAH"? Bristol is gone! All is right with the world again! Thankfully, neither of the teams will have to suffer listening to her nad attitude.

Going into tonight's show, I'm wondering if Melissa will be able to perform. Just like her last time on the show, she got hurt in rehearsals.

This week's theme: Guilty Pleasures

Kelly & Val-Samba
Great song, fun dance. She is so good! Her and Val are quite the hot couple.
24.5

Gilles & Peta-Rumba
Gilles cracks me up! I wish the crowd would shut up, their constant yelling is ruining the beautiful moments. For a guy, he is such a pretty dancer! He is just phenomenal, that's all there is to it. Oh my gosh Carrie Ann was so carried away she flew off her chair! Yikes!
29.5

Kirstie & Maks-Quickstep
Mrs. Robinson? Ugh...couldn't have picked a worse song...but it is kind of fitting for her I guess. For a fast dance, she handled it really well.
25.5

Emmitt & Cheryl-Samba
Emmitt is such a character, I love him! I'm convinced there isn't any dance that he doesn't look good doing. Not only does he perform the moves, but he has fun doing them.
29 (10 from Bruno!)

Team "Call Me Maybe" Freestyle : Apolo, Shawn, Melissa, Sabrina

Brutal rehearsal...lots of bumps and falls. I'm a little surprised Derek is struggling with the song. It's poppy and fun and he can choreograph anything.

Despite having to go to the hospital with a herniated disc in her nevk, Melissa is cleared to dance!

Cool, cool, cool!!! Loved every single second of that! I loved the theme of high school/cheerleaders. The stunts were so amazing and so fun to watch. Individually they were awesome and as a team they were amazing. I'm guessing Melissa's doctors did not know what she would be doing in this dance when they cleared her...yikes! She was being flung all over the place! Simply amazing routine and it should have gotten the perfect 30.
29.5 (2 10s!)

I can't wait to see the other group's "Gangnam Style". It's going to be hilarious.

The Voice, Episode, 3.13

More Battle Rounds!

Alexis vs Daniel: Team Cee Lo
I do NOT think Daniel was good in his audition at all. I thought he did better his first time around. I think Alexis much better...at least before hearing them sing. Love the Adam Lambert song choice. Daniel's low confidence and unwillingness to try because he might sound bad is just pathetic. It's now or never dude, pull yourself together or go home! It would be nice if he didn't slur his words so much that you could actually understand him. I really like her approach to the song and I really hate his. Go Alexis all the way! I can't believe the judges connect with him! The Winner: Daniel...boo! I don't think he deserved it at all! And this is why Cee Lo has not won...he picks the wrong people!

Brandon vs Nicole: Team Adam
Ugh..."Ain't No Mountain High Enough"? Really? What year is this, 1967? Let's sing a current, relevant song, please. Let's face it, they are both amazing singers. I hate the song, so it's hard for me to get excited by the performance, but they are talented. Tough call. The Winner: Nicole. I'm surprised there was no steal...of course Christina wouldn't steal...the "specific team" she is building is all female.

2 of the singers I have most been dying to see: Cassadee Pope and Joe Kirkland, both only received half-second blips! What?!?!?! I'm ticked! I wanted to see their complete performances. At least they both won.

Devyn vs Marissann: Team Christina
I think these girls are gonna totally rock "Free Your Mind". This is going to be a tough battle, they sound exactly alike. Great performance! The Winner: Devyn. Marissann gets stolen by Blake!

The Amaxing Race, Ep. 21.4

Road Block: fix a bus

There is a Fast Forward in play this leg. To get it they must collect rats...yuck! No thank you! Team JA decide to go for the Fast Forward, and they are the only team to do so. They successfully complete the rat task and arrive at the Pit Stop first.

The Road Block challenge was crazy because there were several stages that had to be completed. Many of the teams struggled.

Rob sailed through the challenge because he's used to fixing his monster trucks. Poor James was really struggling...he had to start all over! Then Gary and Trey had to start over too!

Natalie (aka Twinnie) was kicking butt. I can't decide if I like NN or if they are just really annoying. The constant yelling of "come on twinnie" and "you're the only girl here" was getting to be just a bit much.

AR are the first to finish, followed by NN. Bringing up the rear again is GW, but they are only behind TL by a little bit...until TL's taxi breaks down.

Detour: pound the metal or pound the cotton

Chippendales "why did we pick a sewing task?" I was wondering the same thing! 2 big guys like them should have been pounding the metal. JB who apparently sew their own drag clothes (tmi), end up passing JJ. Now GW is there too...don't let them beat you JJ! Sew like the wind!

Rob and Kelley arrive at the Pit Stop in 4th but they missed a stop so they have to go back and complete it. Trey and Lexie did the same thing, oh no! JB were nice enough to tell them what they did wrong. And now GW did it too!

The standings at Pit Stop #4
1. James & Abba
2. Abbie & Ryan
3. Natalie & Nadiya
4. Josh & Brent
5. Rob & Kelley
6. Jaymes & James
7. Trey & Lexie
8. -eliminated Gary & Will

Finally the team with 9 lives is gone.

Project Runway, Ep. 10.14: The Finale

The finale is here! As long as Fabio doesn't win, I'll be happy.

The final runway show...

Chris
Overall, I like most of the pieces in his collection. But, they all seem really different and I'm not sure how they all fit into the same collection.

Melissa
Love her stuff. That last red dress was amazing! Way to represent as the only female in the top 4!

Dmitry
I've continually been impressed with his stuff, so I'm most excited to see his collection. A couple of questionable pieces (and I hated the girls' eyebrows!), but overall, it's a really nice collection.

Fabio
I don't really care for all the washed out pastel colors. They all kind of look the same to me. There isn't really any piece that I could see myself wearing. Just not my taste at all.

It's really hard to tell from the judges comments who is going to win...except, I don't think it's Chris. I hope it's Dmitry, but it's worrying me that it sounds like it's going to be between Dmitry and Fabio.

The Results
4th place: Chris
3rd place: Melissa
2nd place: Fabio

The winner of Project Runway Season 10 is...DMITRY!!!!!!!

Woohoo!

Survivor, Ep. 25.5

So what will the fate of poor Matsing be this week? Me thinks they will be no more and some sort of merge/tribe mix-up is bound to occur. I only hope that Malcolm and Denise can stay together somehow or they are in big, big trouble.

How totally awesome would it be if they can find the idol without a clue. Good luck guys! They are so close, it's not even funny....OMG they found it!!!! But...if they are split, who gets it?

So now, the inevitable has happened, Malcolm and Denise are now split up. Malcolm goes to Tandang and Denise goes to Kalabaw. Malcolm had the idol in his posession, good for him...total bummer for Denise.

The reward challenge is the first really physical one of the season. Malcolm wins it for his new tribe Tandang! I'm so happy he got to finally win something. Things are really looking up for him, yay! I hope he can work himself into a tight alliance, preferably with Pete.

My plan is working...Pete wants Malcolm and he just told him that he has their idol. 2 idols between them, not too shabby. I just hope they can play smart.

Injury/illness alert: Dana is not doing so good. Having seen the commercials for this episode, I know that she is the reason Jeff pays them a visit. I feel bad for her, she looks like she's in a lot of pain. Penner was being so sweet to her, letting her rest on his lap and trying to comfort her. That's a side I've never seen from him.

They decide that she's not in a life or death situation...yet. However, she decides she can't make it, so she's going to leave the game.

And just like that, Kalabaw's potential women's alliance of 4 that could have had the upperhand on the 3 guys, now becomes even.

Immunity Challenge: holy crap was that close! Tandang comes away with the win! Katie lost Kalabaw A LOT of time, as Jeff kept mentioning throughout thr challenge. She was lagging behind at every part of the challenge. If she was just a couple seconds faster on any section of the challenge, they would have won. She seems to be the very apparent weakest link on their tribe. We haven't seen her perform too much because they always had to sit people out in the challenges. If they want to win, they need to lose the weakest link, and I hope they see that that is not Denise.

Katie seemed like the easiest target, but it's Dawson who gets her torch snuffed.

The Voice, Ep. 3.12

Liz vs Nicole: Team Blake
One would think Liz has the advantage, as the winner of a singing reality show a couple years ago. "She's had a rough road"...yeah, winning a show and being signed to P. Diddy's record label is really rough. I'm not really a fan of Liz's voice, so I'd pick Nicole. The winner: Liz (big surprise...I really, really don't want to see her win a 2nd show)

Alessandra vs Kayla: Team Adam
I really like Kayla's voice, not so crazy about Alessandra. Alessandra just sounds like she's trying too hard. Ooh, she really cracked on those high notes...yikes! The winner: Kayla! Yay! Christina pulled a sneaky steal of Alessandra. I really don't think she was good enough to be worthy of a steal, but whatever.

Emily vs Mackenzie: Team Cee Lo
I really like the song choice for these 2. They're both so good! I really love Mackenzie's quirky voice, it's so unique. Emily was really flat and jumping seemed to make her lose her breath. Mackenzie really looked comfortable and you wouldn't really know that he is more used to playing an instrument. The winner: Mackenzie! Yes! Thank you Cee Lo! That was the right choice despite what the other judges said.

The Voice, Ep. 3.11

Julio vs Terisa: Team Blake
Very interesting duo, but I think it could work. I don't think Julio stands a chance, to be honest because she's such a powethouse, even though the song might suit him better. She starts out a little out of control and all over the place...vocally and physically. Julio is very solid. I actually liked Julio better, she was just too wild! The winner: Julio!!! Wow! Yay, Julio! Cee Lo steals Terisa.

Dez vs Paulina: Team Christina
Paulina's audition was really poor, so let's see if she gets better. I love Dez, so I'm rooting for him all the way. Thank you Christina and Billie for telling her to chill out with the vocal acrobats...less is more. The more she sings, the less I like her...which means Christina will probably pick her. You can't understand a word she's singing and her voice is just super annoying. The winner: Dez! Woohoo! Props to Christina for getting it right!

Benji vs Sam: Team Adam
I can't wait for this matchup, it's going to be epic! They are both so fantastic, it's going to be so close. I love each of their voices so much! I'm really hoping someone steals the loser, because neither of them deserve to be the loser. You can't get much more perfect than this performance! The winner: Sam! Wow, gotta say I'm surprised, but not disappointed because he's very good. I am disappointed that after all the positive feedback for Benji, no one stole him.

Nicholas vs Todd: Team Cee Lo
These two...not really a fan of either. I just can't really stand Nicholas or his voice. Todd has a decent voice, so he would have to be my pick. Todd actually ended the song really strong. Why they are so blown away with Nicholas, I just don't know...don't get it. The winner: Nicholas (darn it Cee Lo!)

Lelia vs Suzanna: Team Blake
This should be a really good pairing. Ugh...until I heard that Blake picked the song "Dog Days Are Over" by Florence and the Machine. Anyone who knows me, knows that I hate their music with a passion! Can't stand it, it's painful! I think they both have very good voices, despite the horrendous song choice. The winner: Suzanna

Joselyn vs Sylvia: Team Christina
These two seem very evenly-matched. I like them both. They are two gorgeous, talented women, there's no denying that. I feel a steal coming on this one. The winner: Sylvia. Adam and Blake for the steal! And Joselyn chooses Adam. I'm ok with that but I was kind of hoping Adam would have one spot left, just in case Blake does something stupid and doesn't choose Cassadee Pope.

The Amazing Race, Ep. 21.3

Road Block: balance 20 plates of food at once

Jaymes's serving background served him well and he put the Chippendales in first.

Most of the teams did better than I thought they would.

Detour: Egg Head or Lion's Head

The Chippendales are a hoot! First they're smooshed together on the rickshaw looking like they were on their honeymoon, then they get to show off some of their moves wearing a huge lion's head...quite the comedy duo, I must say.

JB chose to do the burning egg on their head. One of them said "my head is getting hot". Really? Gee, I wouldn't know why.

Caution: double U-turn ahead. Uh oh, those are never good.

Because of the long 3-hour wait in between trains, 5 teams make it to the pitstop before the rest of the teams even start the detour.

RK choose to U-turn GW. Bummer, but I'm glad they chose them becauss they are really annoying. GW takes a risk, not knowing who's behind them, and choose to U-turn RK. They chose wrong...they should have picked CB, who were actually behind them. The girls got lost and their driver turned the wrong way however, and made it very close and somehow still came in last! GW has 9 lives, I don't think we'll ever be rid of them. Oh well, CB's attitude was starting to get annoying.

The standings at pitstop #3:
1. Abbie & Ryan
2. Trey & Lexie
3. Jaymes & James
4. James & Abba
5. Josh & Brent
6. Natalie & Nadiya
7. Rob & Kelley
8. Gary & Will
9. -eliminated: Caitlin & Brittany

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 15.7

I think it is now safe to say that the show is officially rigged. The ballroom was dealt a low blow, and we've lost 2 former winners, who are truly great dancers and were so much fun to watch. They absolutely deserved to make it through. How, one might ask, could 2 former winners end up going home before the lowest vote-getter, Bristol? How did she avoid the bottom 3 even? The moody, negative Bristol lives to dance again. You can't tell me that the girl getting death threats and getting trashed all over the place, was able to get more votes than 2 previous winners and fan favorites. Nope...don't believe it, and I just don't get it. It makes me mad enough that she should have never been on the show the first time. The show is called "Dancing with the STARS". Having a mom in politics, a star does not one make. So for her to be on the All Star season is just ridiculous. Sorry. With the lowest score AGAIN, how does that justify getting to stay over 2 previous winners? Goodbye Drew and Helio, you will be greatly missed. Moving on, this week's dance styles were picked by other couples. Just looking at the outfits and hair they've picked for these dances makes it obvious that this is going to be a crazy/good show! Kirstie & Maks-Charlston Can Kirstie keep up with this fast dance and flips? Don't know, but it should be interesting! That is...if she can make her way out of that cake! Maks's pants crack me up! Was he really having trouble lifting/flipping her, or was that a joke? I almost don't know. I'm not sure if it worked as a joke or not. I was impressed that she kept up as well as she did, but... 30/40 Bristol & Mark-Rock & Roll "Dumbing down the routine", "making it easier"...yeah, this sounds like someone who is having fun, is excited to be there and wants to win. Hopefully her bad attitude will force those who have been voting for her to STOP! Mark had fun as usual, but she is still so lackluster and boring! At least she smiled a little. She needs to just shut up and let Mark, the professional, do what he does best. 32/40 (8s? Really?) Sabrina & Louis-Disco Kirstie was dumb for choosing thos style for Sabrina...she's gonna kill this! So much fun! Loved every second! Holy cow, the lifts, my goodness! He almost dropped her on the last one...that was close. 35.5/40 Emmitt & Cheryl-Bolero Emmitt, the smooth gentleman! What a sweet dance. We're so used to see him beaming those pearly whites and be-bopping all over the place. This was a nice change and he still performed the heck out of it! 36/40 Gilles & Peta-Bollywood I love Bollywood dance numbers, so I'm super excited to see Gilles perform this! He's got the looks, I hope he's got the moves. I love the song choice...it's perfect! It was a little slow, but he still did an awesome job! "Hotter than curry"...well said Len. 39.5/40 (He got 3 10s!!! Wow!) Melissa & Tony-Jitterbug This was also a dumb choice by Apolo & Karina, because Melissa thrives on the fast up-beat dances. The faster she goes, the better she gets. Those flips and lifts were right in her wheel-house...a couple bobbles, but it didn't slow them down one bit. Great job Melissa! 37/40 Shawn & Derek-Mambo They make such an awesome pair. I could watch him all day long. His choreography just blows me away every week...just simply Phenomenal with a capital P! She is just too cute, I love her...and him! 39.5/40 (3 10s!!) Apolo & Karina-Hip-hop What a dumb choice of dance by Melissa...did they not see him and Julianne do their season winning free-style that was basically all hip-hop? They are going to kick this dance's butt and take names! I'm kind of surprised that Karina doesn't like hip-hop. It seems like something she would be good at. Another classic Apolo dance to be remembered...all except for Karina falling down. Cool, fun and funky! I think he should be in a boyband or something because he's got skills! And I love when he wears a bandanna! 34.5/40 Kelly & Val-Contemporary Great Coldplay song choice, love that song! They have such good chemistry. It's nice to see Val finally get to dance with a good partner. What a steamy, romantic number...just beautiful. And she has a broken toe! And then there's nothing sweeter than seeing Val carry her all the way up the stairs..awww! 37.5/40 Awesome week of dancing, only to be made perfect, if a certain someone goes home.

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 15.5

Last week we said goodbye to Joey...what?! I cannot believe he went home before Bristol. So sad. I'm gonna miss him.

Drew & Anna
Drew is hot! That was a crazy performance! Loved it! It had a little bit of everything. So hot and spicy. I thought it deserved a better score.
24

Gilles & Peta
Great steamy song for Gilles to be flying around on a harness to. I don't think that there's anything that he can't dance well. I loved the character that he was acting out, it definitely added to the dance. And, gotta love the guyliner.
25.5

Melissa & Tony
Tony is really beating her up in rehearsal! Yikes! Can I just say that she has to be one of the most gorgeous women in the world. Awesome routine. I love the energy, it was so much fun! Crazy moves, too. The head drop/lift at the beginning was crazy enough, and that was just the beginning!
27 (highest score of the season so far)

Apolo & Karina
He cracks me up! I love his Gilles impression. Ooh, he's just so cute! Such a good performance. Great technique and drama. Loved it!
25.5

Kelly & Val
Brother rivalry, interesting concept Kelly. She just oozes drama! Very strong performance. Val finally has a partner who can contend for the title.
27

Kirstie & Maks
Carson's "Moves Like Jagger" dance, oh my! Maks in tight pants? Thanks Kirstie! The wig? NO THANK YOU! Yikes, that was just scary! Once you get past all that, it was a great dance!
24

Sabrina & Louis
Love the purple, good choice! That girl is fierce! Very good performance.
25.5

Emmitt & Cheryl
Paso doble is obviously the perfect choice for him. Loved the rehearsal, with him running and sliding across the floor, that was great! He is always so captivating, he really draws you into the dance. And the slide was a success, straight through her legs! If I was Cheryl, I would have been terrified seeing that big football player charging me like that, but she stood firm, good job Cheryl!
25

Helio & Chelsie
You can tell this guy just has so much fun when he dances. Doing the quickstep was a very bold move, because that has to be one of the toughest dances to do. He definitely did a great job with it. It wasn't overly exciting, but it was danced well.
25.5

Bristol & Mark
I'm just so disgusted by Bristol. Sorry Bristol fans, I just don't get her. Her attitude just sucks. I don't know how she can say that Mark wants to go home, because she barely looks like she wants to be there half the time herself. The reason he missed rehearsal? There was a family emergency with his mom. I think that qualifies for a good excuse. Does he probably want to be with Shawn or Sabrina? I would, and not just because they are better dancers. They are clearly more fun to be around and have a more positive attitude. Who wants to be around a sour puss all day? He's a loyal partner, so he's not trying to sabotage her. OK, ranting over. I thought Bristol looked really pretty and was much improved. However, as her score reflects, she's still way out of her league. Nice try, but it's time to go home.
22.5

Shawn & Derek
Cool trampoines! That was an awesome way to enter the dancefloor! I just hope they don't get marked off too many points for doing lifts. It made the routine fantastic, though. Matching splits! Go Derek! Then the fall off the stairs into the orchestra pit! Wow! Loved everything about that routine! In a week of iconic dances, this will be an iconic dance of it's own! Awesome!
26.5 (9.5 from Bruno!)

I am so bummed for Jeffrey Gutt! They picked Tara Simon over him?? First major travesty of the competition! What a loss!  2nd travesty: the fact that LA doesn't want this category and doesn't think there is a stand out in this category...what??? Hello: Vino and David are A.MA.ZING!!! If LA sabotages this group the way he did the guys last year, there will be no forgiving him.

My Favorites: Vino, David (and if I had to choose 2 more: Jason and Daryl)

Survivor, Ep. 25.4

The question remains: can Matsing NOT come in dead last? Part of me really thinks Kalabaw or Tandang will throw the next challenge just so they can vote someone out.

Who knew, sweet little Pete has some Russell (Hantz, that is) tendancies! Creating chaos out of nowhere=sneaky. Risky move "hiding" the idol clue in RC's bag in plain sight for Abi to find. Hopefully his little move won't come back to bite him.

Malcolm continues to amaze me. I love his insights and I love his opinions about Russell. He's dead on!

Russell is such an idiot and he will probably luckily just stumble on the idol. I hope Malcolm and Denise figure it out first!

The Challenge:
Malcolm is the man! He is awesome! Denise is a beast! All 6 other women sat out, she was the only woman in tbe challenge and she kept up with the guys!

Tandang wins and down to the wire...Matsing ALMOST pulled it out. Wow. They had it! Poor Malcolm, he just couldn't pull through at the end. 4 losses in a row!

Russell is losing it! I am so sick of his holier than thou attitude! He tries to talk tbe talk, but he can't walk the walk.

Tribal Council:
All I can say is that I really hope Malcolm and Denise's alliance is true and Russell gets blindsided. Malcolm and Russell's votes for each other cancel each other...it comes down to Denise and she stay's true to Malcolm! See ya Russ!

The Voice, Ep. 3.11

Battle Rounds continue!

Team Cee Lo: Cody vs Domo
Go Cody! Love this guy! Country boy doing Lady Gaga, say what?! Should be interesting. It's definitely geared toward Domo...not really a fair fight. I hope he can pull it out or at least get stolen! I'm loving the performance, they are actually really good together! The Winner: Cody! Woohoo!

Team Christina: Aquile vs Natalie
Go Aquile all the way! Love the James Morrison song she chose for them. Aquile will sound awesome on it! I don't think Natalie is all that talented, but she has improved greatly since her audition. The performance actually ended up being really good. Natalie impressed me, but I still love Aquile! Christina is dumb and is obsessed with choosing girls, so she'll probably pick Natalie. The Winner: Aquile! Yay! I'm glad she made the right choice for once.

Team Adam: Caitlin vs Melanie
Not really looking forward to either of these. If I had to choose, I'd go with Caitlin. I actually like Caitlin's voice now that she's singing a better song. They actually look like they could be related. Melanie is just too creepy. I was not digging this performance at all. The Winner: Melanie (boo!) Cee Lo and Blake want to steal Caitlin. She chooses Cee Lo.

The Voice, Ep. 3.10

The battle is on: Battle Rounds! I'm anxious to see the advisors!

Team Blake: I love Michael Buble!
Casey vs Terry-interesting matchup.
They had a very good unison to start the song! I really like Terry. Casey has really improved since his audition. I think Terry's stronger though, and I think he killed it! The Winner: Terry (woohoo!) I'm 1-1!

Team Adam: Mary J Blige...not really a fan.
Bryan vs Collin
I love the Sublime song choice! Very strange choice for 2 R&B kinda guys, but it's groovy. I love when Adam sings...gosh he's good. Collin seems really off-beat, either too fast or too slow. His voice is good though. Bryan just seems like a natural. He had some really nice moments. I think I like Bryan better. The Winner: Bryan! I'm 2-2! Whoa, Blake and Cee Lo want to steal! Good for Collin, I like him too. And he chooses Blake!

Team Cee Lo: hello Rob Thomas! Love him!
Diego vs JR
I'm not crazy about the song choice for either of them. Diego is in trouble-he's a good singer, but he just doesn't have the experience. The song started way too low for Diego, but it definitely got better. Their unison is very good. I don't think Diego did quite enough, it will be JR I think. The Winner: Diego! Wow, I blew that one, I'm 2-3. I really thought someone might steal JR.

Team Christina: so excited to see what Billie Joe has to offer.
De'borah vs Nelly's Echo
Love Nelly's Echo! So, these 2 look like twins! Scary/creepy!  Christina's dumb, so she'll probably pick De'borah. But...I'm pretty sure someone would steal, so maybe that would be ok! The whole performance seems a little disjointed. Both were good individually, but together it didn't quite sound as good as I thought it would. Wow, De'borah got really carried away at the end! Yikes! The Winner: De'borah (I knew it). Steal, steal, steal people! What, no steal??? Aw, so bummed.

Team Blake:
2Steel Girls vs Gracia
"Sin Wagon"-great song choice! I'm not sure about this matchup, they're both pretty even. I think Gracia might have the edge. The Winner: Gracia (I'm 4-5)

Team Cee Lo:
Amanda vs Trevin
2 powerhouses right here. Their voices are so perfectly matched. The performance is just amazing. Whoa, Trevin's hitting some crazy high notes! Very tough choice, and a steal is a given. The Winner: Trevin. The 3 remaining coaches all vie for the steal, but Adam is victorious.

Great first edition of the battle rounds! Each performance was truly a battle, and there will be a lot more where these came from.

Amazing Race, Ep. 21.2

RK (Rob and Kelley) make a risky move early. Out of all the teams, they are the only ones to take a flight through Hing Kong. It leaves a couple hours earlier, but there is a 4 hr layover, which makes it arrive later.

Long-haired JA (James and Abba) got a jump on everyone by making standby for an earlier flight. They are now in the lead. All the teams arrive shortly, and RK are nowhere to be seen in last...they think they are in first. Surprise!

Bull racing! Looks exciting! Dang, those bulls are fast!

Wow GW (Gary and Will)...well, W, was having some major issues with making those balloons at the Road Block! Chill out dude! It's not rocket science!

TL (Trey and Lexi) were rocking the ice detour. I really like them.

NN (Natalie and Nadiya) were AMAZING in the fish challenge! Their hair was completely in the fish bucket! They ended up coming in first and received the Express Pass which lets them skip tasks and go right to the Pitstop.

RK got a bad driver who had no idea where he was going. That's really gotta suck, because there's nothing you can do. Poor AD (Amy and Daniel) also had trouble and are now in last, even behind GW! Oh no!

The standings at Pitstop #2:
1. Natalie & Nadiya
2. Trey & Lexie
3. Jaymes &James
4. Abbie & Ryan
5. Josh & Brent
6. James & Abba
7. Caitlin & Brittany
8. Rob & Kelley
9. Gary & Will
10.-Eliminated: Amy & Daniel

That's so sad! GW are so annoying, while AD are so inspiring. 2 sad eliminations in a row!

The Next: Finale

Before the actual finale, they have to perform again. Overall, they were pretty underwhelming.

-Ashley-decent
-Ali-just Ok/kind of pitchy
-Krystle-pretty awful...it was kind of painful honestly
-Cori-very good and quite entertaining
-Jordan-awesome and I love that Robin Thicke song "Get You Alone"; he was easily my favorite. If that doesn't earn him a spot in the final 3, I don't know what will.

The last singer is announced, and I was totally right, it's Jordan! He joins Michael Ray and Iliana, who was announced at the beginning of the show.

Final performances:

Michael Ray
He was born to be a country singer, that's for sure. There's not much to say other than, he's good. He's very consistent and is just clearly awesome. Which for me is saying a lot because I hate country.

Iliana
Why on earth would you pick such an old-fashioned song? Everyone knows that most people connect to more fun, up-beat songs...a slow song like that is not going to win you a show like this...sorry. It doesn't matter how good you are.

Jordan Baird
This performance is not nearly as good as "Get You Alone". Not only is it too boring, but he didn't sing it that great.

The only shot Jordan has to win is if enough people liked his first performance, and being hot will help, too. I think Michael will probably win it. He was a very early favorite going back to the first city audition. He was also the highest vote-getter, which made him the first finalist, so I see him carrying it through to the end. And did I mention, he's hot?!

And the winner is: Michael Ray! I picked it...I'm awesome. Actually, it was pretty much a no-brainer.

Project Runway, Ep. 10.12

Last Challenge: Avant-Garde look inspired by a makeup muse created by L'Oreal Paris.

The Runway:

Melissa
Very interesting. I like the dress, but not sure about the vest.
8

Fabio
The top is very interesting with the shredded black over the red. For once, I actually kind of like something he made. I still hope he goes home though.
7

Dmitry
Man, can that guy sew! That suit is done perfectly! The only problem? Tim's right...I don't really think it's avant-garde. Woah! Just saw the back! That zipper is like 5" long and just barely covers her butt! Yikes!
8

Sonjia
I don't quite know what to think. The look as a whole is very interesting. I'm not sure I like the illusion that the top piece isn't connected to the rest of the dress. I do like the bottom though, except for the back. She kind of looks like a mermaid.
7

Chris
Stunning! Love the feathers, they really make the look.
9

Moving on to New York Fashion Week: Chris, Dmitry, Melissa and Fabio

Auf Wiedersehen: Sonjia

I gotta say, I'm surprised. Sonjia had been so strong and I don't think she had any truly bad weeks. On the other hand, Fabio did (at least in my eyes). I'm rooting for Dmitry, but I also like Chris and Melissa, so I will be happy if any of those 3 win.

The Voice, Ep. 3.8

Natalie Hernandez
Wow, she barely sang 2 words and Blake and Christina pushed their buttons. Even though she sang Taylor Swift, I agree with them...she's good! However, towards the end, she got really shaky-probably nerves. And she's 15!

Rod Michael
It is the year of the X-boybanders! He is really good, I can't believe no one turns around! I think if he had auditioned earlier someone would have definitely snatched him up.

Caitlin Michele
She might be good, but I HATE Florence and the Machine, so I really don't care for her audition at all. I'm sure singing anything else, she will be really good...and she better be because she's on Team Adam. And can I just say how creepy the guy with the mustache is?

Nicole Johnson
Country version of Kelly Clarkson's "Mr. Know It All"? Not a fan. I don't think she's a great country singer at all. I thought it was average at best. Not sure why Blake turned around, he's got plenty of better singers. Cee Lo thought she had a perfect voice...really? I thought she was shaky and pitchy through the whole song. Of course she chooses Blake. Grrr.

Kameron Corvet
It took me quite awhile to recognize the song...he really made it sound different. He's got a different sound, and he's decent, but I'm not blown away. When you compare him to the talent we've seen, he just doesn't stand out. Therefore, no one turns around.

Chevonne
She has sung background on tour with Lady Gaga, so you know she's not quite normal. She actually looks like she could be related to her. She really, really needs a makeover! I hate her look: her hair, her clothes, everything. I am not impressed with her singing either...nothing special. Not a fan. She belongs with Cee Lo, and that's who she chooses, thank goodness.

Kayla Nevarez
I really like this girl! Her song choice was very unexpected, but she rocked it! I didn't expect het voice to sound the way it does. So glad she ended up on Team Adam!

Celica Westbrook
She has a very sweet, yet powerful voice. I like her. I don't know if she's memorable, but she was definitely good.

Jessica Cayne
She was good until she got to the chorus. She got really pitchy. It got even worse when she started jumping up and down. Blake almost turned around, but thank goodness he didn't.

Rudy Parris
What an interesting guy. I don't care for the long hair, but at least it looks nice. Very interesting song choice, but it was good. He will make an interesting addition to Team Blake.

Cody Belew
This guy is a hoot! Most intersting guy award, right there! He's a farmboy who sings soul. He says in a past life he must have been an old black woman...ha! Out of all the judges he wants Cee Lo. It just so happens Cee Lo is the only one who has just one spot to fill. It's like fate! He comes out and immediately blows me away! That skinny little farmboy can rock! I'm going to enjoy watching him in the competition! He has an amazing voice and he's crazy funny. I was so scared because Cee Lo didn't hit his button until the last freakin' second! Cody had turned around and didn't see Cee Lo hit his button. That was great! He totally lost it when he realized what happened. The perfectness of Cee Lo being the one he wanted and thrn for him to turn aroubd at the last second to make him the last member of Cee Lo's team...loved it!

X Factor, Ep. 2.7

Bootcamp, pt. 2: The 60 remaining acts get paired up and must duet against each other. They get to decide on the song. Both could make it, neither could make it or only 1 might make it.

Jennel vs Tara
Jennel lets Tara bully her into a song she wasn't comfortable with. I'm rooting for Jennel all the way! Jennel's nerves started to show at the beginning, but I still thought it was pretty. Tara does way too many runs, and gets overly emotional. Simon rightly says the song wasn't right for either of them and even said he felt sorry for Jennel. This better not get her eliminated.

Carly Rose vs Beatrice
They are just so cute! Beatrice has a really quirky voice that matches the song. Carly is just so special, she completely stole the show with her originality at the end. Love her!

Vino vs David
I like both of these guys a lot, especially Vino. Both were really good. For some reason Vino felt like he really messed up, but he didn't! He shouldn't be so hard on himself.

Diamond vs Dinah
Why do they keep putting all my favorites up against each other? A very odd choice to slow down Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger". It started out a little too low for Dinah. But in the end, they are both great.

Jeffrey vs ?
Can I just say how much I love Jeffrey! That guy is amazing! Apparently he outshined his partner, because they didn't even show his part of his song...whoever he was. And they sang "If I Die Young"...very interesting choice, but it was really amazing.

Willie vs Tate
The country boys. Don't know why, but I love Willie. Oh no! He completely forgot the lyrics! That's a big no-no, especially at this stage. That's a shame, because he's really good. For country, Tate is good as well.

Arin vs Normani
I don't remember Normani from before, but she's good. I've never been totally impressed with Arin. I definitely don't think they should have slowed down the song like that. Unlucky for Arin, Simon still wants to put him in a group like ladt year.

Latasha vs Jillian
I don't remember Latasha, but of course remember Jillian the girl who was bullied. Oops, Latasha has another case of "forgot-the-lyrics". But not Jillian, she rocks it! Then Latasha continues to embarass herself by having a meltdown.

Freddie, Jessie, Nick, One4five, Jordan--they all forgot the words! Apparently it's going to come down to whether or not you can just get through a song. I guess it really proves who's ready to handle the pressure and who's not!

Paige vs Cece
My question about Cece is answered! She was filmed drawing hundreds of leopard spots all over her leg! What is up with that? She might as well get tattooed if she is going to look like that for every performance. Paige backed down and let Cece pick the song. Risky move. And it pays off for Cece, as Paige goes first, starts way too low and messes up the lyrics. However, Cece is a little shakier thsn she normally is, but ends the song strong. Unfortunately, the singer who ends the song has the most opportunity to wow.

Can't wait to see which ones make it, which ones don't, and which groups the judges are going to coach. Please let Simon do the guys this year! LA really screwed the pooch on the guys group last year. He picked all the right guys up until the last cut, and then he chose all the wrong ones. He cut so many of my favorites, that I will never forgive him!

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 15.3

Week 2
Pamela rightly went home in Week 1. This week should be Bristol's turn.

Melissa & Tony-Jive
Really fun routine! She was with him every kick and flick. I hope Carrie Ann doesn't count the over-the-back flip a lift!
23.5

Bristol & Mark-Quick Step
Wow, it seemed like she had quite a few missed steps. I didn't see much quick step...it was almost all line dancing. On a fun song like "Redneck Woman", she made it very boring.
18

Helio & Chelsie-Jive
He always seems to do well with fast-pace dances. His kicks and flicks were right on.
23.5

Apolo & Karina-Quick Step
Now that's what a quick step looks like! Tons of really quick steps...unlike Bristol and Mark.
24.5

Sabrina & Louis-Quick Step
That was quite a scary fall/drop in rehearsal! I think in this routine, the Sabrina from several years ago showed up. She was very good and she looked great too.
26

Kirstie & Maks-Jive
Sorry, I know she's old. And while she did very well, it just isn't up to the quality of the younger dancers. It's all about technique, not who tries the hardest.
21

Emmitt & Cheryl-Quick Step
I just love Emmitt. He always looks like he's having so much fun. Not to mention, he's got such smooth moves.
22.5

Drew & Ana-Jive
I still can't believe he was im the bottom 2! Cool move on the pole, Drew! Shout out to the singers...you murdered yet another song. Can the show not afford to play the original songs? I've always wondered. Back to the dance...it was awesome...as usual. Go Drew!
22.5

Joey & Kym-Quick Step
Oh my gosh, I can't believe what they did to Radiohead's "Creep". No words. Nice character acting Joey. Of course, he is good as well.
22.5

Shawn & Derek-Jive
They are just so cute! Great job, technically good, and very entertaining.
25

Kelly & Val-Quick Step
I think, along with Melissa, she is one of the most graceful dancers. It's just beautiful to watch.
22

Gilles & Peta-Jive
Crazy outfits, crazy routine. Loved it! Way to shake it Gilles! He really is the complete package. Watch out everyone!
25.5

If the judges scores are any indication, Bristol should be going home with her pitiful 18. Fingers crossed!

X Factor, Ep. 2.6

Auditions are over, and it's now time for boot camp. It's time to weed out the good and the bad, to get to the best of the best. Half will be going home. That's crazy!

Diamond White
This Whitney song has been done way too many times. She starts off kind of boring, but she definitely picks it up and it ends up being really good.

Austin Carini
He sings Adele, wow! He's going to have to make it a little more interesting if he wants to make it.

David Correy
I love this dude! He's awesome! And he sang "Mercy" by Duffy...so unexpected!

Jessica Espinoza
She has such a big voice! I'm surpised that they didn't think she was as good as the first time.

Jennel Garcia
I remember that I loved her first performance, so I hope she does really good. Oh, I love her song choice of Gavin DeGraw's "Sweeter". She has something really special. I love her to death!

Vino Alan
He's so talented. I think he might just be one of my early favorites. Britney wasn't that impressed? Really? Who was she listening to?

Johnny Maxwell
Uh oh, forgotten lyrics, the kiss of death. I think he sounded good, though.

And now for the bad...and let me just go on the record and say that I wasn't impressed with any of these the first time, and they totally proved me right tonight, thank you very much. Sorry, I know they are really young. They might just need more experience. The prize for this show is huge, so you need to be really good, because there are some truly talented people.

Jordyn Foley
If we wondered if she could sing a pop song instead of something broadway-we now know that SHE CAN'T! Wow, it was just so nasally, it was painful (again)! Someone needs to teach her how to sing from her stomach and not directly out her nose. She was all over the place! Yikes!

Trevor Moran
Best known for his ridiculous dance moves done to LMFAO. This time, he kills us with an incredibly corny version of Nicki Minaj's "Starships" (with the same dance moves). This time his singing was just as horrible as his dancing.

Nick Perrelli
Anyone remember his joke of an audition that I thought was absolutely horrible and the judges liked? Look who was totally right! Me! He stunk! No LA...it was not his nerves, and yes you were crazy for thinking he had talent.

Jake Garza
I don't remember seeing his audition. The judges said he was really good, but this time, he can't remember any of the lyrics and barely sings 2 words. I feel really bad for him.

Emblem3
They are pretty good, but right before them were a few other really good guy groups, who I think might have done better than them.

Tara Simon
She is so annoying! I wish that they wouldn't like her. I don't really care that she might sing well, she's just thay annoying!

Willie Jones
What country song will he wow us with? Haha. I still can't believe he sings country, and it's good!

Paige Thomas
She's really good, but she probably could have put a little more into it.

Cece Frey
Singing the same song as Paige. Meow! Cat fight! I really want to know if the leopard prints on her face are a tattoo or if she paints them on. Unfortunately, the diva is amazing, and she might have gotten the better of Paige.

Results:

Group A had a lot of good people who I'm glad made it!

Group B had a lot that I am so happy to see go. I am surprised that Jessica Espinoza didn't make it. I thought she was good enough to go through.

Group C also had a few of my favorites, so that's good news.

Since we couldn't see everyone, I'm hoping all my favorites made it.

Survivor, Ep. 25.3

Can Matsing break out of their slump and finally not end up last? Only time will tell...but it doesn't look good as long as Russell is leading (or not leading, according to him).

Meanwhile, on Tandang: hello Pete, nice to finally meet you! I'm glad he's trying to come up with a plan to save Lisa. He wants to blindside Mike; I would rather see Abi or RC go. I think they're both shady. You know it's going to hit the fan when RC finds out Abi told Pete about the clue to the idol.

On Kalabaw, clever Jeff realizes the emblem on top of the rice is gone and figures out that it was the idol, and that Penner most likely has it. Possible blindside #2 is in the works. Neither tribe will get to execute their blindside if Matsing continues their horrendous performances in the immunity challenge.

Immunity/Reward Challenge, key observations:

-Russell sucks! He slipped more than once trying to get out of the water, losing valuable time. Then he comes up empty, again losing time. Wasn't the main reason they were hanging onto him because he's a physical player who could help them win challenges? It's time to face the facts, you idiots: YOU ARE 0-3! CUT HIM LOOSE ALREADY! Russell is a poor leader and although he looks strong, he is incredibly weak! UNLESS...his plan is to come off as weak so he's not seen as a threat (despite his speech last week)...then he is definitely succeeding.

-Denise embarrassed the heck out of Russell! She was a machine!

-Angie is pretty much worthless. She couldn't untie the first float that was only a couple feet under water.

-Jeff is surprisingly good in water.

-Skupin is going to leave the show in a body bag! He is cursed! Every show he injures something to the point where he is bleeding. This week, his goggles explode in his face?? What?! How does that happen?

Kalabaw comes in first, and...SHOCKER...Matsing comes in dead last. They are 0-3 and will now be down 3 members.

After the challenge, Abi discovers the hidden immunity idol, and then stupidly screams, "I found it!" Way to be stealth. On Kalabaw, Penner decides to share with Jeff that he has the idol, which helped to ease Jeff's concerns that he couldn't be trusted. That leaves the lowly Matsing tribe as the only ones not to find their idol. The only reason for that? Russell is the only one who has the clue, and he's not too bright.

Poor Malcolm. It looks like Angie is beginning to annoy him. He likes her, but she never stops talking! I loved that he called his tribe a bunch of goons. He's right! Definitely rooting for him and Denise to survive the plague, that is their tribe.

Tribal Council
Whoa, reality check: Malcolm was 12 when Survivor first aired!

Russell can now add 'delusional' to his list of problems. He thinks he was being strategic when he gave up furing the challenge, ha!

Props to Malcolm for sticking up for Angie when Russell was trying to throw her under the bus. "You can't hold a candle to what I'm going to be able to bring." If that were true, you might have just won a challenge or 2. You might have wanted to show whatever that is, a little sooner.

I'm a little surprised their sticking with Russell again! Honestly, I think Angie and Russell have contributed an equal amount in the challenges and I think she would be more loyal. So, they might not have made the smartest decision. Props again to Malcolm though, for not being completely booty-blinded. I do think that this move will make him even stronger and more focused, so look out Kalabaw and Tandang!

The Next: Semi-Finals Round 2

The results from the vote of last week's semi-finals:

Moving on to the finals is Michael Ray, which means he doesn't need to perform until Thursday.

Jordan Baird
He sings a Tyler Hilton song, which is awesome! I was beginning to think no one knew who Tyler Hilton was...which is sad, because Tyler is awesome. He performed it very well. It's too bad his voice cracked a little on the last note. Otherwise it was really, really good.

Ashley Kimbrae
She sings Rihanna's "California King Bed". The low notes at the beginning were a little weak, but it got a little better. I didn't care for the overdone vibrato. I don't know that it was one of her best performances, but she ended it strong.

Ali Brustofski
She sings Bruno Mars's "The Way You Are". I liked the way she ended the song, I thought it was really good.

Krystle Cruz
She sings "Skyscraper" by Demi Lovato. I definitely think this was her best performance. She didn't overdo it, it was very subtle, yet powerful. Very nicely done Krystle.

Cori Yarckin
She sings "Everybody Talks" by Neon Trees. Very strange song choice for her, I think (even though I like the song). It started off very odd, but it did get better. I thought her weird acting during the song was just a bit much (sorry to disagree John Rich).

Iliana
She sings Maroon 5's "One More Night", which I love! She was great! One of my favorites of the night!

Amazing Race, Ep. 21.1

My first impressions of the 11 teams:

Trey & Lexi-dating
They are super cute! I like that they are open about not wanting to live together before getting married.

Natalie & Nadiya-twins
I just hate when you can't tell people apart! They look like they could be tough girls.

James & Abba-friends
Those dudes are really creepy with that long hair. Yikes! Grow up and get a hair cut!

Josh & Brent-life partners/goat farmers
Such an unexpected story for these guys. Definitely not your typical gays. The goats are cute!

Amy & Daniel-dating
Amy is a double amputee who is also a snowboarder. She is amazing, what a story.

Caitlin & Brittany-best friends
They are the typical "pretty" team of friends who also look like they could be sisters or even twins. They talk tough, let's see if they race tough.

Rob & Sheila-engaged
Pretty boring and forgettable, not much to say about them.

Gary & Will-friends/substitute teachers
They look like an unlikely pair of friends. Will is a very strange little dude. Next to Gary, Will looks like he would be shorter than 5'1".

Abbie & Ryan-dating divorcees
Very competitive couple. They're also cute together.

Jaymes & James-Chippendales dancers
I don't think there's ever been a team with the same names. They are cute, snd cute accents! Go team Jaymes (James)!

Rob & Kelly-married monster truckers
Very interesting couple.

Aaaaand, they're off!

New twist, if the couple who wins the 1st leg, and also wins the final leg, they can win $2 million!

First destination: Shanghai, China

Just a note: I'm only going to use initials when referring to the teams, just because it's easier to type :)

ROADBLOCK: score a point against a child Chinese table tennis champ.

First team to succeed was AR, which was surprising because NN said they grew up playing table tennis. As Natalie continues to fail, it gets more and more embarassing as the child switches out the paddle for a clipboard, frying pan and a tambourine.

Trey rocked it and got it on the first try. Nice!

ROADBLOCK #2: eat frog fallopian tubes, a Chinese delicacy. Twist: whoever did not complete the first Roadblock, must complete this one.

Wow, it looked absolutely disgusting looking. Jaymes (of team JJ) was a beast on that task! Amy was very good as well.

Oops, RK didn't read the whole clue...you can't use your hands. Guess who has to eat a double helping of fallopian tubes? Bummer.

Abbie & Ryan reach the mat first! If they win the final leg, they will win $2 million. Amy & Daniel were a very close 2nd. Unfortunately, the kind-hearted AD, told AR where the clue was and it ended up costing them.

The standings at Pitstop #1:
1. Abbie & Ryan
2. Amy & Daniel
3. Caitlin & Brittany
4. Natalie & Nadiya
5. Rob & Kelly
6. James & Abba
7. Josh & Brent
8. Gary & Will
9. Trey & Lexi
10. Jaymes & James
11.-Eliminated: Rob & Sheila

JJ scared me when they were having trouble finding the woman using an abacus. They were close, but kept getting further and further away. GW lied to JJ about not finding the clue. Luckily TL told them where it was. JJ actually found the clue last, but out-legged RS by a nose!

I don't know that there has ever been a closer first leg. Too bad for Rob & Sheila, they seemed like a nice couple. Unlike Gary & Will, who are already on my annoying list, with Josh & Brent in a close 2nd.
