Survivor, Ep. 27.7

Redemption Island
Kat talks about her mistakes and she is so worried that Hayden is going to be embarrassed and disappointed in her and that he's going to dump her.

Redemption Island Duel
Awe Kat! She called Hayden down to hug her and she said she was so sorry! Part of me wants to say "suck it up you baby", but part of me feels so sorry for her and thinks that their relationship is so cute. Hayden said that their relationship is much more important than the game of Survivor. Awe! I love him! Jeff puts Hayden's love for Kat to the test and asks if he wants to swap with her. Oh, please, Hayden....DOOOOONNNNTTTT!!! They talk it out, and Hayden says he thinks he's good on his tribe (I don't think it's good to be doing so much talking in front of everyone!), and they talk about who has the better chance to win and they both agree that he does. She said she would switch because she's afraid she won't win the puzzle. She said she is going to play because she knows it means a lot to him to play the game. Awe, he's in tears...she's in tears! I hope she can focus after that emotional decision! It was so nice to see Hayden's tribe comforting him, because they could see it was hard for him.

The challenge is to chop a rope to release a bag of puzzle pieces. John is out quickly and Laura is close behind. Kat can't get her pieces out and Hayden yells down to her to open the bag more...duh Kat! Get your head in the game! The puzzle is the same puzzle Cochran did to win immunity. It's a 3-D puzzle...these are always tough! John is doing amazing! Laura keeps looking at John's puzzle because she doesn't get it. Kat actually is getting it...with some help from Hayden. And John is done, and has win #4! Kat didn't want to cheat by looking at the other puzzles. Everyone is helping Kat, even Gervase! I'm surprised they are helping her so much. People from both tribes in the stands are rooting for her and helping her. Still, she is falling behind, and it's over. Laura stays with John and Kat is out.

Kat hugs Hayden on her way out and says "you're not going to break up with me are you?" Oh my...
I hope that Hayden is as safe as he thinks he is, and I hope that by not having Kat in the game will help him out.

John gives the clue to Monica, and of course...it goes right into the fire. For the love of Pete...just give it to someone else already! This routine is just getting ridiculous...I bet the producers didn't predict this happening.

Galang

X Factor, Ep. 3.11

In this next round, the top 4 acts from each group will perform live. Their mentor will then choose 1 act to go home.

Girls - Demi

Ellona Santiago
I don't know if it was the song choice, or what, but I was not impressed with her performance at all. She got so winded by doing all the dance moves. It really took away from the performance because you could hear her straining for air. It also affected her pitch.

Danie Geimer
I like her song choice, but wow, her pitch was awful at the beginning. I don't know if it was nerves or what, but she was really pitchy and was really quiet. Then when it came for the powerful section, she got a little better, but the whole thing was just a little weird for me. Not sure exactly what it was, but it didn't work. She didn't have a whole lot of energy, and it was really boring...and it wasn't a boring song...she should have been able to have done something with it.

Rion Paige
Finally a good performance! She really has an amazing voice and she's always consistent. She is lightyears ahead of the other girls in her category. And she took a risk singing one of Demi's songs. She sang with a lot of emotion, and it was really beautiful.

Khaya Cohen
She also picked a really good song! She killed it! She showed a lot of personality and she gave a really good performance. She had great pitch, and sounded amazing!

My choice would definitely either be Elonna or Danie. I had liked Danie a lot before tonight, but she was really bad.

Demi's Choice To Go Home: Danie

Boys - Paulina

Josh Levi
Normally, he is really solid, but he kind of sounded like he was all over the place. I didn't think it was that great. I don't know if it was all the production and the dancing or what. It was kind of awkward.

Carlos Guevara
Wow, this was just really bad. The song choice was VERY wrong for him, and I do not like what he did with it at all. His pitch was REALLY bad! I liked him before this, I don't know what happened...maybe the nerves?

Carlito Olivero
He picked a very good song! He gave a really good performance. His pitch wasn't there 100%, but it was 100x better than both Josh and Carlos. I really like his voice, and I like the Spanish flavor.

Tim Olstad
I like his song choice a lot. It suited him very well. I like that there weren't a lot of theatrics and it was just him singing. I really like his voice a lot and I think he can get even better. I really enjoyed his performance and the emotion he gave was just right. Very solid and technically good.

I would definitely send Josh or Carlos home based on those performances. I think Josh needs the most work, so I think maybe he should go.

Paulina's Choice To Go Home: Josh

Over 25s - Kelly

The Voice, Ep, 5.12

The Knockout Round continues, and ends tonight. Adam and Christina each have one save to use.

Team Adam
Lina Gaudenzi vs. Preston Pohl
Lina seems very polished and it feels like she's been performing for a long time. Her runs are crazy good and not overdone.
Preston has such an interesting voice. For some reason every time he performs, I think he sounds different. Or maybe I'm just not remembering him. I didn't remember that his voice was so deep. I think he did a good job with this reggae song.
For me, it's Lina all the way, but Adam loves Preston, so I could definitely see him picking him.
WINNER: Preston

James Wolpert vs. Juhi
James has been a favorite. He always blows me away, because I always forget how good he is and I forget that he sounds like that! I think he did a great job with such a classic song. Who knew he could rock like that?! He had some screamin' goin' on! That was incredible!
Juhi was a save and I was so mad at Adam for saving her. She had overdone her quirky sounds and it was annoying. Adam helped her to tone that down and she was much more tolerable to listen to. She still isn't really my cup o' tea, though.
I would definitely go with James on this one, but we know how obsessed Adam gets with girls like her, and I totally wouldn't be surprised if he continued to go with her.
WINNER: James

Team Blake
E.G. Daily vs. Ray Boudreaux
E.G. picked a good song for her voice, but it's not a song I like. She has a really good voice, but the way she pronounces some of her words bothers me. She messed up the end of the song when her voice cracked and she didn't really hit the high notes.
Ray has been one of my favorites. I really enjoy listening to his voice.
For some reason the coaches have been obsessed with E.G., but I really hope Blake picks Ray! I think Ray will do better on the live shows and he is more versatile. Plus, I think he fits better on Blake's team. His voice is just amazing!
WINNER: Ray

Austin Jenckes vs. Brandon Chase
Austin picked one of my all-time most annoying and over-sung songs: "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain. He didn't do anything to make me like the song. He has a decent voice, but he doesn't stand out amongst the AMAZING other singers in the competition. The song isn't really that challenging, and it was pretty boring, with the exception of the loud, high notes at the end.
Brandon, on the other hand, is so enjoyable to listen to. He started out a little too low, but once he got going, it was really good. Unfortunately, he didn't hit all his notes like I think he can. It still sounded good though.
I would go with Brandon, but I think Blake might hold some of his shakiness and missed notes against him and go with the more consistent Austin.
WINNER: Austin

Team Christina

The Voice, Ep. 5.11

The Knockout Rounds begin! The difference between the Battle Round and Knockout Round is that singers are choosing their own song and singing it solo, instead of singing the same song as a duet with their competitor. This season the judges get 1 steal each in this round.

Team Christina
Amber Nicole vs. Josh Logan
Nicole came out with all guns blazing. She had a lot of sass, and gave a really good performance.
Josh didn't pick the best song, but sounds good singing just about anything. He did a really good, solid job.
I would go with Josh, but I think Christina will go back to her girl-supporting choices and go with Amber.
WINNER: Josh (Holy crap! Christina is not messing around this season! She is picking the best people!)
STEAL: CeeLo steals Amber

Destinee Quinn vs. Olivia Henken
Destinee has always had pitch problems for me. She has good moments, but she just isn't very consistent. Her voice cracked and was strained on more the one occasion, and it just was not that good. She was pretty flat throughout the whole song.
Olivia was very solid. She listened to Christina's critiques and picked her moments.
Olivia is the obvious choice here, and it's not even close. If Christina messes this up, she is absolutely crazy.
WINNER: Olivia

Team CeeLo
Kat Robichaud vs. Monika Leigh
Kat picked the perfect song for her voice. She has so much rock and grit in her voice. Sometimes it's too much.
Monica picked an absolutely awful song. It might have shown her soulful side, but it didn't really let her show her vocal skills. I wasn't impressed by this or what she's done so far on the show (which is why she didn't win her battle). It definitely was better toward the end...until the last note.
I would pick Kat because she is more versatile and is just a better singer.
WINNER: Kat

Cole Vosbury vs. Jonny Gray
Cole picked one of my absolute favorite songs right now: "Let Her Go" by Passenger. Darn it, I didn't want to like this/him...but it sounds so good! And I didn't expect those high notes at the end!
Jonny has been one of my favorites, I just love his voice. I wish he would have picked a better song though. I don't think the song did him any justice at all. In a knock out, win-or-go-home, do or die battle, that is not the song that's gonna do it.
I would still pick Jonny because I just think he's awesome. Who knows what CeeLo will do. He had Nicholas David, and I feel like Cole is very similar. Adam says he will steal whoever CeeLo doesn't pick, so in that case, I kind of hope CeeLo picks Cole so Adam can take Jonny. I think Jonny would be a great fit for Adam's team.
WINNER: Jonny (Wow! I'm shocked! I can't believe CeeLo actually picked him!)
STEAL: Blake steals Cole

Team Blake

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 17.7

Elizabeth & Val - Quickstep
Wow, it took forever for this dance to get started! That whole intro was completely unnecessary, and I don't think it added anything to the piece. I didn't get that at all. I do love Val in nerdy glasses, though. Elizabeth actually showed some personality in her face with this dance. That was nice to see. She did very well...once the dance actually started.
Score: 27

Brant & Peta - Jive
How cute is he in those suspenders?! I think this dance is going to suit his personality and his strengths very well. He can definitely pull off the fun character. His hard work has really been worth it because his kicks and flicks are awesome! He is completely in sync with Peta on every step. He better get some high scores!
Score: 27

Leah & Tony - Salsa
Leah is looking better every week. And not just her dancing, I think she is losing a lot of weight and she is feeling so much more confident. Those lifts were crazy! She had so much hip action going on! I can't believe how much she has improved in the last couple weeks! I really, really enjoyed this routine! I haven't loved her dances other weeks, but this one was so enjoyable, and the content was really difficult! Way to go Leah!
Score: 26

Jack & Cheryl - Jive
Look at Jack go! He had a rough week in rehearsals, but it doesn't show on dance night! His feet were really moving, and it had really good form. Cheryl wasn't easy on him and put together a really challenging routine. Good for you, Jack! And to throw in a run all the way up all those stairs at the end of that routine had to be exhausting.
Score: 27 (a 10 from Carrie Ann!)

Amber & Derek - Paso Doble

Amazing Race, Ep. 23.5

Leg 5: Norway -> Poland

The continuation of last week's episode, where we see how the teams finished in Leg 4, while continuing racing right into Leg 5.

We also see the continuation of whether or not Tim & Marie accept Nicole & Travis's help in finding the next location in exchange for the Fast Pass. After Marie couldn't make a decision, Tim decides for her and Nicole tells them where to go.

Pitstop #4
1. Brandon & Adam
2. Jason & Amy
3. Nicole & Travis
4. Leo & Jamal
5. Tim & Marie
6. Tim & Danny
7. Ally & Ashley
8. Nicky & Kim

All the teams will be catching up to each other, as the next task doesn't open until 8:30 PM.

Tim & Marie quietly pass the Express Pass to Nicole & Travis and they tell them not to tell anyone, because they want everyone to think that they haven't given it to anyone yet.

Detour: Pose or Polka
In "Pose" they have to pose like a statue to earn donations. In "Polka" they have to learn a dance and an instructor will tell them when they get it correct. I'm surprised so many of them chose the dancing. It seems like being a statue would be much easier than learning a dance.

Tim & Danny were hilarious trying to decide who should be the girl in the dance! "You're a better looking girl than me!" "I don't want to look good in dress!" haha! They looked so funny! And whichever one was the girl was hysterical! The sad part was that they kept messing up and having to start over. Jason & Amy show up and pass the task before them. Nicole & Travis struggle too, but they also pass up Tim & Danny. Finally, on what they say will be their last time trying, they get it! I was starting to feel really bad for them.

Nicky & Kim did well and earned money very quickly.

Meanwhile Tim & Marie, Ally & Ashley and Leo & Jamal were lost trying to find the Detour.

Brandon & Adam stumble upon Nicky & Kim doing the Detour, so they decide to do that one. They had a much harder time than the girls and they decide to switch to the other Detour.

Leo & Jamal were also hilarious doing the dancing! They were all over the place! I think it's going to take them awhile to get this. They finally get it and leave Brandon & Adam as the last team there.

Tim & Marie decide to use their Express Pass since they were so far behind and they were also afraid they would be U-Turned and then have to do both Detours.

Double U-Turn
Tim & Danny decide to U-Turn Leo & Jamal, because they knew they were behind them.
Leo & Jamal U-Turn Brandon & Adam.

Road Block
They go to the longest apartment building in Poland that houses over 6,000 people. They get a list of addresses and have to go to different apartments and test donuts until they find a certain flavor.

Travis played a funny trick and took the stairs and pressed the elevator button on every floor so it would open for Kim, who he saw take the elevator. Very clever!

Ashley and Leo (or was it Jamal?) decided to work together and try to stay in front of "The Beards".

Pitstop #5:
1. Tim & Marie
2. Jason & Amy
3. Nicole & Travis
4. Nicky & Kim
5. Tim & Danny
6. Leo & Jamal
7. Ally & Ashley
8. Brandon & Adam--ELIMINATED

Wow...they went from 1st place in Leg 4, clear down to last place and being eliminated...bummer!

Big Brother Australia 10, Week 13 Recap

No More Gym - Art Studio
Big Brother takes away all of their gym equipment and replaces it with art supplies. Tim Drew a really good picture of Mr. Clooney! Tim then poses in the nude ("I'm not naked, I'm nude There's a difference.") by holding a bowl of fruit to "cover himself" for others to draw him. Madaline's drawing turned out a little better than Tahan's.

Housemate of the Week
One person a week is going to be nominated and they will be able to eat anything from the Executive Fridge. That person will also get hot water whenever they want it and access to the Parlor whenever they want. They get to pick who can share this with. Each of them go into the DR and tell Big Brother why they should be the Housemate of the Week. I like Drew's the best: "I keep Tim under control". lol!

Big Brother selects Drew as the 1st Housemate of the Week! Way to go Drew! He chooses Boog to share the perks with. Unfortunately for Tim, he doesn't know how Drew could win. And to make things worse, the fridge is right out where everyone can see it, but only Drew has the key.

Drew sneaks out some chocolates for Tim and hides them next to his pillow. The lights go out and Tim secretly munches on his chocolates. But...Big Brother catches him! Big Brother tells Drew to get to of the 4 remaining tuna cans out of the pantry and put them in his Executive Fridge. Bummer!!! Tim hid the last piece of chocolate in the pillow and he threw it at Ed. Big Brother told Ed to show what was in it and then told Drew to take another can of tuna! The boys were so afraid of what the girls were going to say.

Drew starts to feel bad about all the food he is getting. Tim and Tahan decided they were going to go on a hunger strike and Drew said he would do it with them, saying he wouldn't eat until they could eat. He also felt bad about causing them to lose their tuna. Tahan didn't last very long on her hunger strike. However, Drew went another route. He offered Big Brother a comfort...his right arm, in order to win back the tuna he lost. So, he pulled his arm out of his shirt and kept it tucked in his pants, leaving him only his left arm to do everything with.

Big Brother asks Tim to be Drew's right-hand-man. If he does things to help Drew, he will be able to eat out of the fridge and go to the parlor with him, along with win back the cans of tuna. He agrees, but he tells Drew that he's not happy with how Drew and Boog have been with the food around him and he said it's like being a third wheel like with Tully. This doesn't go over well with the other housemates, because Tim gets rewarded for his bad behavior, while they are all still on staples. Luckily, Big Brother was happy with Tim and Drew's sacrifice and they won back the tuna, plus a bonus prize of another can of tuna!

Western Theme Party - KFC
The housemates get to dress up in fun western outfits and they are treated with KFC even though they are on staples. Tim is so happy he cries!

They finish off the night with some line dancing and riding around on fake horses!

Survivor, Ep. 27.6

Galang
Aras realizes that he is in fact the person in charge, as Laura M. was sent packing, and that is not a good place to be. Meanwhile, his fears are right, because Tyson and Gervase talk about the problem if Aras and Vytas get together. They are both on the same page in being OK with him for the moment, but they may have to "dethrone King Aras". Uh-oh! Me no likey!

Redemption Island Duel
Laura M. was VERY confident in saying that she was coming back and she wouldn't even hear of Ciera even thinking about swapping with her.

This challenge is almost exactly the same as one of the earlier ones. They have to walk on a balance beam and untie bags of puzzle pieces, and then complete the puzzle. The difference was that the puzzle pieces were numbers that they just had to put in order. Other than the balance beam, how difficult was this, really? Putting numbers in order? Probably the easiest challenge ever!

Laura is in the lead as John keeps falling off the beam and dropping his bags. Oh no! Brad and John are neck-and-neck, with Laura pushing ahead even further. And Laura wins! Wow...that was pretty impressive. She talked the talked and then most definitely backed it up. And it's John in 2nd, which means Brad is out!!!! That was a close one, Brad was only a couple pieces behind.

Laura now gets to give the clue to the idol to someone and she chooses to give it to Vytas. Very subtle...going after Aras, in the same way they targeted Brad by giving the clues to Monica. Vytas didn't even hesitate to go throw that clue in the fire. Is anyone going to have enough guts to actually keep the clue? I kind of think they are all taking the easy way out.

Redemption Island Arena-Surprise
Jeff sends John and Laura away, and drops a bomb on everyone else. It's time to switch things up! As viewers, we knew this was coming because of the not-so-subtle previews. I'm just hoping that Aras and Hayden benefit from this swap. And is it too much to ask that they get on the same tribe so that they can form a really cute and awesome alliance? Please, pretty please? Even better would be if Vytas and Kat would also end up with them...that would be totally awesome. Fingers crossed!

Everyone drops their buffs and they draw covered buffs to determine their new tribes. Tyson asks Jeff if he can pick last so that fate can decide what tribe he's on..haha...oh that Tyson. Aras, Gervase, Tyson, Ciera and Vytas switch. Vytas is now the only guy on Galang and Ciera is now the only girl on Tadhana. Yikes! This swap couldn't BE more lopsided! On the plus-side, Aras and Hayden are now on the same tribe, so I am now officially Team Tadhana!

New Tadhana
New tribe: Caleb, Hayden, Ciera, Aras, Gervase, Tyson

Tyson starts to wreak havoc by eating as much food as he can and drinks most of the coconut water in private, before sharing what little is left with the rest of the tribe. He says "I'm going to hit all that food like a one-man wrecking ball"...oh boy. Hayden did not really care for this behavior at all. He felt like he was just coming into their house and touching all their stuff.

Tyson then starts throwing Aras under the bus, hoping that everyone will know that Tyson isn't in charge, and Aras is. I kind of hope Tyson's plan backfires, because he is doing SO MUCH TALKING! That's what got Brad in trouble!

New Galang
New tribe: Monica, Kat, Tina, Laura B. Katie, Vytas

Vytas is worried because he was in control on his old tribe, and now he has to start all over. Not to mention he is the only guy amongst all those women! All of the original Galang girls were "sort of" in an alliance before the swap. Really, it was Monica and Tina, with Kat and Laura assuming they were in the alliance. Now with Katie joining Mom-Tina's group, it seems like the girls would be really dumb if they didn't stick together. That's a real bummer for Vytas. I bet he would feel a lot better if he had a clue to the immunity idol...oh wait...he did. Major bummer! He could have even used that as a way to get in with the girls if he would have shared it with them. Hindsight is 20/20, and I bet he's really kicking himself right now.

Immunity Challenge
Oh no, it's a partial swimming challenge...I hope Aras doesn't have to save Gervase again.

Teams of 2 have to swim out to a cage and untie a trap. Surprisingly, Gervase is doing pretty well as he and Aras bring back the trap first. Tina and Laura open their gate but swim the ENTIRE way back without their trap! Their tribe was screaming at them, but they had no idea what they were talking about. They lost a TON of time! Tadhana quickly was out and back with the next trap. Monica and Vytas made up a little time. Something tells me that even though there is a huge lead, this is going to end up being a close one, and maybe even an upset. No lead is ever safe in this game!

Aras and Tyson start working on the puzzle while Kat and Katie worked on releasing their 3rd trap. Finally, Galang has their third trap and they start working on the puzzle, with Tina working to right the wrong she made at the beginning. They actually catch up! Oh no! Tadhana cannot lose this after that HUGE lead! I almost can't watch. Galang think they have it, and they are celebrating...but they are wrong! They think they have it again, and are celebrating...and they are wrong a 2nd time! In a split second later, Tadhana thinks they have it...and it's right! Woohoo! Oh my gosh, that was way too close!

Pre-Tribal
Tina apologizes for her mistake and says that she understands if they vote her out for it. Everyone seems on board with voting Vytas out. However, Kat would like to take out the person who won't stop talking and strategizing: Monica. Tina questions Kat's loyalty for even bringing up the thought. So what does Tina do? She goes right to Monica with the gossip. Great. Monica then goes back to Kat and asks if she brought up her name to Tina. She denies it and flat-out lies but Monica isn't buying it.

Tribal Council
Monica tells Kat that she wants to trust her, but it looks like she's not going to feel good about her. Vytas tries to tell everyone that he's made relationships with them and hasn't given them any reason not to trust him. He uses their distrust in Kat, and he tries his hardest to get them to keep it. Most of them think they should just stick with the plan which was to take Vytas out.

The votes:
Vytas
Kat
Kat
Kat
Kat

Boo! I was really hoping she would stick around awhile longer to play with Hayden. Her darn mouth got her in trouble again! I think she had the right idea to go after Monica, but she probably should have waited to bring it up until the next time. I REALLY hope Hayden doesn't switch places with her, even though he would have a much better chance at winning the duel. Luckily, they showed Hayden in a preview for next week, so I hope that means he didn't switch.

I really don't like the previews for next week where Tyson and Gervase are sharing their plan with the rest of their new tribe, and it seems like everyone (including my beloved Hayden) is on board with taking down Aras. Boo! My hopes of a really awesome bromance could be in jeopardy.

The Voice, Ep. 5.10

The final night of the Battle Rounds. CeeLo is the only one who has a steal left to use, so there's only 1 chance for the battle losers.

Team Adam

Barry Black vs. Preston Pohl-singing "I Wish it Would Rain" by The Temptations. First of all, it's amazing how much these guys look and sound alike! They look like they could be twins! I don't really like one of them over the other. Adam was smart to pair them up, because the competition really doesn't need both of them (now watch CeeLo steal the loser, and they both end up going through after all). I think it was a great performance, and honestly, I still can't tell them apart, so it really doesn't matter which one goes through. I think Barry's horn noises might give him the edge for me.
WINNER: Preston

Team Blake

Holly Henry and Brandon Chase-winners of battles we didn't see

Team CeeLo

Jonny Gray vs. Shawn Smith-singing "Refugee" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I really like Jonny's voice, and the more I hear of it, the more I like it! He has something really special. Shawn is OK, but he isn't really that memorable, when you compare him to other singers that have made it through already. I'm really, REALLY hoping it's Jonny. I think they both gave a really good performance and sounded really good together. I would have liked to see them interact with each other a little, instead of acting like the other person wasn't even on the stage with them.
WINNER: Jonny

Tamara Chauniece-winner of a battle we didn't see

Team Christina

Olivia Henken vs. Stephanie Anne Johnson-singing "Done" by The Band Perry. Olivia seems like an obvious choice for this country song, but somehow Stephanie managed to also sound really good on the song. They both sounded pretty good together, which surprised me. They continued to get better and stronger the further into the song they got. I think Olivia is really talented, and she might be the best female country singer this season. I think she stole the thunder on this one. Since this is the last battle, whoever loses, will be picked up by CeeLo, so it's really a win-win for both of them.
WINNER: Olivia
STEAL: CeeLo steals Stephanie

The Battle Rounds are finished, and it's onto the Knockouts!

The Voice, Ep. 5.9

The Battle Rounds continue...

Team Adam

James Irwin vs. Matt Cermanski-singing "Counting Stars" by OneRepublic. First of all, I LOVE THIS SONG! I can't wait to hear them sing it! And who better to coach it than the guy who wrote it, Ryan Tedder. Something about Matt's voice is so soothing and cool. I think I liked James better on his audition than I do on this song, but they both sound amazing. It started out slow and just continued to build. I really thought I would be rooting for James based on their auditions, but I think I've flipped....I want Matt to take it! Either one is a good choice, though...they killed it! Great performance from both of them. I like how they played off each other and pushed each other. Adam said he was going to pick the one who moved him the most, and I think Matt did that.
WINNER: James

James Wolpert vs. Will Champlin-singing "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons. I am so looking forward to this song and this match-up. Another great choice by Adam again. James surprised me again! He just doesn't look like he should have that good of a voice. Again, I don't know who to root for because I really like them both! This is such an unlikely pair, and an unlikely song for them just by looking at them. But it doesn't take long to realize just how awesome this performance is! James really went for it and killed it! I think Will held back a little bit, up until the end when he broke out the high notes. This is a tough call.
WINNER: James
STEAL: Christina steals Will

Team Blake

Austin Jenckes vs. Brian Pounds-singing "To Love Somebody" by The BeeGees. I'm definitely rooting for Brian in this battle. I really like his voice, and I think he really gave the song a lot of heart. I did like that Austin played the guitar, and I was more impressed with his voice than I thought I would be. Their voices blended very well on this song. I still like Brian more though. I think Blake could go either way on this one, but I have a feeling it's going to be Austin.
WINNER: Austin

Team CeeLo

George Horga, Jr. vs. Juhi-singing "The Best I've Ever Had" by Gavin DeGraw. She is so quirky and different, especially for being 16. For the most part, I like her voice, but I can't stand the high squeaks she puts at the end of every line! Stop it already! I love George, though! The tone of his voice is really good. I don't think their styles blend well together. Separately they are good, but not so much together. Unfortunately, George's voice cracked going up to those high notes at the beginning. I still much prefer him over her. However, I really think CeeLo will go for her quirky style over his solid and more versatile voice. Very unfortunate, because I really like him. Her quirkiness over-powered him and he couldn't shine the way he would have with a different opponent.
WINNER: George (WHOA! I am in total shock! I'm happy, but in such shock! I was really wrong on that one)
STEAL: Adam steals Juhi (Ugh! Adam, shame on you! It didn't work out with Melanie Martinez, the other colored-hair strange, quirky singer...so I don't think it's going to work with her either. There are better singers that deserve to be saved.)

Team Christina

Josh Logan vs. Michael Lynch-singing "Harder to Breathe" by Maroon 5. I can't tell you how excited I am for this pair and this song! I don't know who to root for! There better be a steal on this one or I'm going to be sad. Josh starts off the song very strong and Michael counters just as strong. They are so evenly matched, it's crazy! Adam was definitely pleased with their performance of his song, and rightly so...they did it major justice. They are both singing absolutely flawlessly. Their harmonies are spot-on. I got some major goosebumps!!! If I had to pick, I would go for Josh by the slightest of margins...but not by much.
WINNER: Josh

Destinee Quinn vs. Lina Gaudenzi -singing "I'm Not Ready To Make Nice" by The Dixie Chicks. I love this song, good choice Christina! I'm not really a fan of either of these two. I was surprised that Christina turned around for Destinee, because I didn't think she was that great. She started out much better than I thought she would. I like Lina's voice a lot better though. I think she made the song her own and did more with it than Destinee did. All of Christina's notes helped them both because they did so much better than in their rehearsals.
WINNER: Destinee
STEAL: Adam steals Lina

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 17.6

Round 1

Bill & Emma - Tango
The "Red Neck Tango", as Bill put it...haha! They were right...this music ("Cheeseburgers in Paradise" by Jimmy Buffet) just is not meant for a Tango. It was hard to judge this because the music just didn't make it seem like a Tango. I think he did a good job with what he was given...but it was all just a bit weird.
Score: 23 (+1=24)

Elizabeth & Val - ChaCha
I think there was way too much filler at the beginning with her at the bar. But once she finally joined Val, it was all smokin' hot! Being a taller woman, sometimes the ChaCha just looks awkward, but she pulled it off very well. She had lots of hip action and her chemistry with Val has never been better.
Score: 30! (+2=32) 1st perfect score of the season!

Leah & Tony - Quickstep
I think she really "stepped" it up a notch this week. Tony put in some pretty aggressive choreography that she would not have been able to do even a couple weeks ago. It was very fast the entire way through, and it didn't look like she missed a step.
Score: 27 (+1=28)

Brant & Peta - Tango
Wow, does he look good in all black tonight! Was it just me or did it seem like he was trying to keep up with Peta a little bit, almost to the point where he looked off-balance? I don't think he seemed 100% sure of himself. He looked great, I just hope the judges liked the hold and steps. I think he looked strong, though, so it could be better than I think.
Score: 28 (+3=31) (10 from Len!)

Amber & Derek - Samba
I just gotta say it...Derek looked so hot tonight! Not that he doesn't every week, buy my goodness...hello abs! I think Amber did an amazing job at this extremely hard dance! It was such a fast and hard dance, and she kept up every step of the way. This was so much better than her last couple of dances. Like, SO MUCH BETTER!
Score: 28 (+4=32) (10s from Carrie Ann and Bruno and an 8 from Len...so harsh for being repetitive?!)

Jack & Cheryl - Paso Doble
I think he will do well with the power, but I think he might have to work on the Latin elements. How so appropriate for them to be dancing to "Conquest" by White Stripes. He's always reminded me of Jack White (not to mention the same first name). Jack absolutely killed it! That was so good!
Score: 25 (+2=27)

Nicole & Sasha - Foxtrot
This is one of her first classic ballroom routines and I think she did so good! It was really cute! Because she's so little, she really floated across the floor.
Score: 27 (+3=30)

Corbin & Karina - Viennese Waltz
They are dancing to the theme song of Game of Thrones. To say Corbin is excited, is an understatement! And those costumes! Whoa! That is some makeup Corbin has on! You don't see costumes like that every day for a Waltz. Whoa, and he turned around and he has a ponytail! OK, onto the dancing. It was amazing! Not your normal Waltz, that's for sure. But it was so much more entertaining than most Waltzes! His form was amazing, especially on the last spins they did.
Score: 23 (+4 =27)

Round 2
Switch-up challenge: the dancers have to completely improvise the dance. 4 couples dance on the floor at the same time and the music will keep switching! They won't know what songs will play ahead of time, and there is no set dance style. The last couple standing will get 4 bonus points, 3 points, and so on with 1 point for the first one tapped out.

They all draw paddles with a 1 or a 2 to determine who dances against who.

Group 1:
4 points--Corbin & Karina
3 points--Nicole & Sasha
2 points--Jack & Cheryl
1 point--Bill & Emma

Group 2:
4 points--Amber & Derek
3 points--Brant & Peta
2 points--Elizabeth & Val
1 point--Leah & Tony

Going Home:
Everyone is safe this week! No one is going home...because incorrect phone numbers were shown at the end of last week's show. So to be fair, everyone is safe.

Amazing Race, Ep. 23.4

Leg 4: Lisbon, Portugal -> Norway

Detour: Hang Your Heads or Hammer of the Cods
Leo and Jamal dumped all their fish on the road. Tim and Marie just complained at each other because they kept getting it wrong. People kept passing them up and she didn't understand because she is "nice to everyone"...yeah right!

The hammering challenge looked so hard and it looked like it would take forever! The ones who did that ended up behind the other task.

Roadblock: Arctic Plunge
One person has to jump off a bridge on a bungy cord and then drop and swim to a clue in the freezing Arctic water.

Brandon & Adam were cruising through and the next challenge where they had to pull a huge rock with a truck, was easy for them because it is what they do all the time back home. Once they moved the rock, it uncovered their next clue to the pitstop. Jason & Amy had no trouble, but Tim & Marie, on the other hand...nothing but arguing because neither of them knew what they were doing! Once they moved the rock, they left...with no clue!

Ally & Ashey didn't know how to do a stick shift, but luckily Tim & Danny helped them.

Pitstop #4
1. Brandon & Adam

But they aren't done racing, they have to keep going! On the way to the pitstop, Nicole & Travis see a very confused Tim & Marie, since they had no clue. Nicole said she would tell them where to go if they would give them the Express Pass. Marie, wasted time and just him-hawed around. Nicole asked one more time and got no answer, so they left! Nicole & Travis should have been the winners of the 2 Express Passes, but lost them because of reading the clue wrong. She thought this was an excellent way to make up for that, but obviously Marie wanted no part of it. And it's dumb because so many teams have made her mad and she said she wouldn't give the Express Pass to them. Nicole & Travis were a team that she was actually considering giving it to, so why on earth wouldn't you take them up on that?

Survivor, Ep. 27.5

Redemption Island Duel
Just gotta say it...I'm #TeamCody all the way! I hope they send Brad packing for good.

Brad comes in "waving his white flag", in hopes that John and Candice don't hit him. He says he apologizes for "whatever". Yeah, Brad, that sounded really convincing.

Monica cries seeing Brad enter the arena. She asks Brad if she can take his spot. He says he is going to fight for it.

The challenge is to take planks on a box apart to use as a bridge. The planks are a puzzle and the pieces only work a certain way. Finally, they have to take the plank pieces with an image on the back to make a puzzle. Candice comes out with an early lead. Somehow, Brad is now in the lead and Candice is in last...what happened?! It's neck and neck and they are all in it! Yikes! John finishes first! 2 weeks in a row for him, wow! At the last second, Brad puts in his last piece! Oh no! Poor Candice! That is such a huge bummer!

As the winner, John gives the clue to Monica. She again, throws it in the fire. It was definitely a major statement the last time, but this time she really should have taken the clue and just shared it with everyone. But really, why has NO ONE found an idol yet? Are the producers playing a joke on them and thee is no idol, or are these people just really bad at finding it?

Tadhana
Ciera thinks she can break up the guy alliance because Hayden and Vytas had no idea that Caleb was going to do what he did at the last Tribal to get Brad out. Hayden isn't sure where he stands now with Caleb, because maybe he's working with the girls. Vytas doesn't think that anyone will ever feel safe with Caleb after what he did, because he flipped on a dime.

Caleb thinks he has some power because he could go with the girls or stay with the guys. Anyone else here him say "big kahunas"? Um...I think you mean "big cojones". Not quite the same thing.

Tadhana is looking like a very broken tribe. They all have scrapes all over, Ciera has bug bites all over and Katie is losing a toenail! They've got some problems to say the least.

Galang
Laura B. still feels like an outsider on her tribe of returning players. Meanwhile, Laura M. thinks she is working her way in with Aras by giving him a relaxing massage. Aras is completely aware of what she is doing and says that it won't work.

Immunity Challenge
Big slide time! After sliding, they have to toss a ring on a post to earn a point for their team.

Monica, Laura B. and Laura M. sit out for Galang. I'm not sure this was a smart choice.

On one toss, Caleb connects and it's 1-0 Tadhana. Tyson beats Haden to score for Galang. Katie scores over Kat for Tadhana. Aras vs. Vytas, and it's Vytas with one toss! Tina scores over Ciera. It's 3-2 Tadhana. Caleb scores over Tyson and Tadhana only needs one more. Hayden scores over Gervase for the final point, and Tadhana wins!

First win for Tadhana and they choose steaks over fishing equipment as their reward.

Pre-Tribal
Laura B. tells Kat that Monica and Laura M. were talking about Kat because they wanted to do the challenge. So it looks like she will be the pot stirrer of the group.

Right now it looks like they want to vote out Laura B. because she's an easy vote and it won't ruffle any feathers...plus, she's really annoying. However, Aras thinks the easy vote might not be the best vote. He thinks maybe it should be Laura M. instead. She is on the outside of the 5-member alliance of Aras, Tyson, Gervase, Monica and Tina. As Tyson put it, she has no idea what is going on or what alliances there are.

Tribal Council
Either way this goes, it looks like a Laura will be going home tonight...or to Redemption Island that is.

Votes:
Laura B.
Laura M.
Laura M.
Laura M.
Laura M.
Laura M.

Best part of the night? Kat pulling the strings of her hood to cover her face as Laura walks past her to get her torch snuffed!

The preview for next week shows Tyson and Gervase discussing dethroning "King Aras" --- DISLIKE!!!!
The preview also makes it look like there is going to be a tribe swap. This could be the best thing for him or the worst thing. It could be the best because Tyson and Gervase could be split up from Aras, and therefore their plan would be screwed. But, it could be the worst because if he and Vytas are reunited, everyone has already said that they would be the toughest pair, which makes him a target...and if he's with either Tyson or Gervase, that's just even more reason for them to target him, since they each have lost their partner.

Another thing to think about is: could one or more people be returning from Redemption Island? So many possibilities...can't wait!

The Voice, Ep. 5.8

The Battle Rounds continue...

Team Adam

Battle Winner we didn't see perform: Ashley DuBose

Team Blake

Monika Leigh vs. Ray Boudreax - Singing "Some Kind Of Wonderful" by Grand Funk Railroad. This is a very bluesy duo. I'm a fan of Ray's voice. Monika is also very talented. I loved their chemistry together, and I think they would actually make a really good duo. I think they both have some really cool qualities and I think Blake could really work with them. I think he might like Monika a little more.
WINNER: Ray (Oh no...my streak is broken, I got this one wrong!)
STEAL: CeeLo steals Monika

Battle Winner we didn't see perform: E. G. Daily

Team CeeLo

Kat Robichaud vs. R. Anthony - Singing "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith. This is probably the first battle that I'm not really a fan of either singer. I don't really care for Kat's low voice and I don't really care for R. Anthony's tone, it's just weird to me. Another problem with this battle is that I really don't like this song. As a duet, I don't think they really work together, and it just seems odd. Oh, yikes...Kat went way high and had a really gross, blood curdling scream. I did not care for that really, at all. If I had to pick, I'd go with R. Anthony. I think that CeeLo might think that Kat went all out for the performance, and might go with her.
WINNER: Kat

Battle Winner we didn't see perform: Cole Vosbury

Team Christina

Jacob Poole vs. Matthew Schuler - Singing "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light 'Em Up)" by Fall Out Boy. This is a very interesting choice for these 2. Before even starting, I was such a fan of Matthew from his audition. I think this going to be awesome, because I had chills just from the rehearsal! Right from the top, they were both just amazing. I like the way they are playing off each other. Jacob was better than I expected. I think Matthew might have done a little better with the high notes, but they were both very well matched. Their intensity was at such a high level for the entire song, that was impressive. It's going to be another tough call. I'm still pulling for Matthew though.
WINNER: Matthew

So, last night, I went 6 for 6. Tonight, I guessed the first 2 right. But my streak ended at 8, when I guessed that Blake would pick Monika instead of Ray. I now stand at 8 for 9...still pretty good.

The Voice, Ep. 5.7

It's time for the Battle Rounds!

Team Adam (w/ mentor Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic)

Grey vs. Nic Hawk - Singing "Domino" by Jessie J. She has such a strong and powerful voice. He is just so interesting to listen to. He's a little too gimmicky I think, but his voice is so unique and he really is talented. His stage presence blows her away just because he's so over the top. I think she finished the song very strong, might have gotten the last word on this match-up. Either could win, but if it comes down to voice and consistency, It should be Grey, but if Adam goes with originality and uniqueness, it will be Nic.
WINNER: Grey
STEAL: Blake steals Nic

Donna Allen vs. Tessanne Chin - Singing "Next To Me" by Emeli Sande. This is going to be another powerhouse battle on a great song. They are both so amazing, And their harmonies are spot-on, so much so that it gives me chills! I don't think Adam could go wrong with either. I think I prefer Tessanne. I think his choice will come down to who he thinks he can win with, because honestly, they are both so good, and so evenly matched. I don't think there has ever been a more evenly matched pair...ever!
WINNER: Tessanne

Team Christina (w/ mentor Ed Sheeran)

Amber Nicole vs. Timyra-Joi  - Singing "Listen" by Beyonce. This was definitely a battle of the powerhouses, so it's going to be a tough choice. I prefer Amber's voice, personally. I think she is a little more polished and I like the tone of her voice better. They both gave it all they had and blew the roof off of the building (wow, Carson just said the same thing!). I don't know that there is anything either of them could have done any better. Wow!
WINNER: Amber

Briana Cuoco vs. Jacquie Lee - Singing "House Of The Rising Sun" by The Animals. This is going to be another tough one, I like them both! Jacquie has such a beautiful inflection in her voice. Her opening to the song was really great. Briana is just an overall great singer. Jacquie really stepped it up on the second verse! Who knew she had that in her?! Briana countered with an amazing high note. They went back and forth so effortlessly, and just flat-out battled it out. Christina is right, they both have pushed each other to be even better and go places where they didn't think they would be able to, which is really cool to watch. I really can't pick one, I love them both so much! There better be a steal, that's all I have to say!
WINNER: Jacquie
STEAL: CeeLo AND Blake hit their Steal Button and she chooses Blake

Team Blake (w/ mentor Cher)

Justin Chain vs. Shelbie Z - Singing "Don't You Want To Stay" by Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson. She has such a powerful country voice. As good as his voice is, he seemed a little unsure of himself at the beginning. Their harmonies sounded better tonight than they did in the rehearsals. As far as country singers go, I like her voice and she is very strong. I think this is a pretty easy choice; I don't think he did enough to outshine her.
WINNER: Shelbie

Team CeeLo (w/ mentor Miguel)

Anthony Paul vs. Caroline Pennell - Singing "As Long As You Love Me" by Justin Bieber. Her voice is so unique, I wasn't sure how she would blend with Anthony's R&B style. It actually kind of worked in a weird sort of way. Something about her is so haunting and intriguing...I really like her! She has made some incredible strides since her audition, with her stage presence...she's not so timid any more. Anthony is really good, he kind of sounds a little like Jason Derulo. I like the tone of his voice a lot. He showed a lot of range and control. I don't know if he's enough different to stand out in later rounds of the competition though.Their harmony on the last few notes was really impressive. This is really going to be a tough one. I think if CeeLo picks Anthony, someone will steal Caroline. If it goes the other way, I'm not sure there will be a steal. I think I would like to see Caroline, just because I'd love to see what she does the rest of the season.
WINNER: Caroline
STEAL: Christina steals Anthony

For the record, I was 6 for 6 on my guesses!

Dancing With the Stars, Ep. 17.5

Christina & Mark - ChaCha
I was having so much fun watching, that I wasn't typing anything during the performance. I think she killed it! She had the hip action down and she really shined on the extended solo parts that she had.
Score: 28 Len gave a 10 and it's the first 10 of the season!

Jack & Cheryl - Waltz
His frame in hold always amazes me. Other than the song being really boring and slow, it was danced very well. I would have liked to have seen a little more connection with Cheryl.
Score: 27

Leah & Tony - Contemporary
Tony's first contemporary routine. She came up with the idea of being a puppet and Tony is pulling her strings, until she breaks free. I really like her playing a character...as an actress, of course, it comes easy for her. It wasn't the best contemporary in the world, but the story was amazing and she really owned it, and I think it was very freeing for her. The lifts were a little clunky and kind of distracted from the dance.
Score: 22

Corbin & Karina - Foxtrot
Foxtrots are always boring, but he can make a foxtrot actually fun to watch. He did a good job with the hold, and their spin lift was amazing...and fast!
Score: 28 Bruno gives a 10, and Carrie Ann gave a 9 because she thought she thought she saw a lift

Bill & Emma - Viennese Waltz
He tries so hard, and always does better than I think he will. Somehow it always looks a bit silly, which I guess is natural because he's a comedian. I think he did a very nice job, and it was a very cute and sweet dance dedicated to his wife.
Score: 24

Nicole & Sasha - Jazz
I love the opening coming down the stairs. So much power and energy in this routine, it's crazy! They had a lot of stand-alone parts and they were so in sync! I love when she throws the gymnastics into the routine. That was just so much fun! Great choreography by Sasha!
Score: 27

Brant & Peta - Contemporary
Such an emotional story, and it was danced with such passion and emotion. You could feel everything he was feeling. The lifts were elegant and so well done! He made them look so easy, especially considering his shoulder makes it difficult for him to do some lifts.
Score: 27

Amber & Derek - Foxtrot
I'm not really a fan of this dance. She danced it well as usual, but I just didn't get anything out of it. I didn't really get a connection between her story and the dance. It just didn't really make sense to me.
Score: 26 Bruno gave a 10, and Len gave a 7 because there wasn't enough Foxtrot...quite the difference in opinion there!

Elizabeth & Val - Jive
First of all, how cute was Val dancing with her son in rehearsals?!

She is dancing to "I'm So Excited", which Saved By The Bell fans will recognize as the song she sang after taking some pills to try to stay awake to study and then ended up collapsing (if I remember correctly...I didn't look it up, I'm just going by memory).

I love that they had some dialog at the beginning and she recreated the moment from the show, and then there was the bell, just like on the show! How cool! As for the actual dancing, it was really good. However, I'm afraid they will point out that her kicks and flicks actually didn't look that strong. I thought her long legs would help, but it was actually maybe a hindrance instead. She also looked like she was spinning out of control and went too fast and spun out of them.
Score: 26

In Jeopardy: Elizabeth & Val, Leah & Tony, Christina & Mark
Elizabeth & Val were saved, leaving Leah & Tony (lowest judges' scores this week) and Christina & Mark (tied for the highest judges' scores for this week)
Going Home: Christina & Mark
What?!?! What the heck happened?! I guess Leah maybe has a bigger fan base, but to get the first 10 in the competition and to get voted out...that sucks! The boos that erupted in the ballroom said it all.

Amazing Race, Ep. 23.3

Leg 3: Santiago, Chile -> Lisbon, Portugal

There were many different flight options, which caused for a lot of shuffling to get on the first flight and then to get on stand-by. Some people took some risks...some panned out and some backfired.

Ally & Ashley and Leo & Jamal end up on later flights, as well as Tim & Marie and Chester & Ephraim. Chester & Ephraim, kept getting delayed and ended up very far behind.

Detour: Tiles or Miles
"Tiles" is putting together a puzzle and "Miles" is figuring out Magellan's route and how many miles he traveled on a large map. Nicole & Travis and Jason & Amy arrive at "Miles" first and they work together to complete the task. Nicky & Kim arrive at the "Tiles" task first.

Brandon & Adam and Tim & Danny arrive at the Detour next, and they end up each doing a different task.

Road Block: Slings & Arrows
They have to hit a shield that is 150 feet away with a bow and arrow, but not just any bow and arrow, it was kind of like a mechanical cannon that shoots the arrow.

Pitstop #3
1.Nicole & Travis
2. Jason & Amy
3. Nicky & Kim
4. Tim & Danny
5. Brandon & Adam
6. Leo & Jamal
7. Ally & Ashley
8. Tim & Marie
9. Chester & Ephraim -- ELIMINATED

Phil met them at the airport to eliminate them, because they arrived after every other team had completed all of the tasks. What a bummer.

Survivor, Ep. 27.4

Redemption Island
Candice does not hide her feelings of hatred for Brad. She enters the arena with her middle finger in the air, pointed right at him. John didn't hold back either. He said that he trusted Brad and every person voted out was Brad's idea. Maybe just maybe, it will sink in for Tadhana....

Duel: one of the most complicated puzzles I've ever seen. John and Marissa make it across their ladder bridges first. John finishes first! Oh my gosh! I did not expect that! Brad even helped him with one of his pieces...too little too late. Gervase tried to help a very frustrated Marissa. Candice pulled it out and Marissa is out. A little sad to see her go...she fought hard and was dealt an ugly hand.

John won the challenge, so he can give the clue to whoever he wants. Candice thinks they should give the clue to Monica and John goes with it. Brad tells her to throw it in the fire, and she does. It was a great strategy by Candice and John to target Brad's better half. She smartly listened to Brad (don't know if she would have thought to do it if he hadn't suggested it) and threw it in the fire. She's right...she's in a pretty good spot on her tribe right now, she doesn't need a target put on her back.

Tadhana
Brad thinks they need to keep people around who have a loved one on the other tribe so that they can have more numbers. John went because Candice was gone, and now Caleb is afraid he's next because he doesn't have someone. Brad seems to be thinking the same thing, because he would be able to go to the arena because no one will be screaming at him for voting out their loved one.

Caleb, Hayden and Vytas realize that Brad is running the show and that makes him a target. They seem like a tight group of 3 and Caleb said that Brad is at the bottom. Wouldn't that be something if they could pull off that blindside?

Galang
Love the Gervase and Tyson bromance! They sneak off and drink some coconut water before they bring it back to camp. "Operation Coconut" was almost blown by Laura, but Monica said it could have been crabs. People on Twitter are calling them the Coconut Bandit alliance...love it!

Immunity Challenge
Oh no, it's another boat/paddle challenge. Hopefully without Colton, maybe this time they will at least be able to paddle straight.

Tina and Kat sit out...why not Tyson? Wow, that's a bold move. But like Tyson said, he's stronger than most of his tribe with just one arm.

And it's just like the first challenge! Tadhana is out very strong, as Galang can't paddle straight...again! Galang finally starts to make up some ground. Tadhana retrieves all 5 of their heavy crates first. But, their boat tips and they lose some of their crates. Bummer! That was enough for Galang to take over the lead. Tadhana really needs to learn how to finish a challenge. They always start out so strong, but Galang passes them every single time.

Tadhana stacks their crates first with Galang close behind. Last stage, is a puzzle. Tyson and Laura for Galang and Ciera and Vytas for Tadhana. Mother vs. daughter again. We know how it went last time. And so it is again! 4 straight wins for Galang!

The prize was either tea and coffee or fishing gear.

Pre-Tribal
Poor Hayden, he's right...they suck! He said "we lost to a one-armed dude and 3 moms". It's really sad when you really think about it. I'd really like to see him win one!

Brad tells the girls that he is going to be voting out Caleb. Brad was late to the bro-meeting. They were talking about voting out Ciera because she has blown 2 puzzle challenges. Brad is on board with that because they need to be strong in challenges.

Tribal Council
Shocker...Caleb just blurts out...out of nowhere "I'm voting Brad out and you guys can do what you want"?! WHAT?! That's a gutsy move! Brad asks Vytas what he's going to do and he said "I'm not going to do that".  Can't wait to see what happens.

Votes:
Brad
Ciera
Ciera
Brad
Ciera
Brad

We have a tie people! Holy crap! It's a revote for either Brad or Ciera and they can't vote.

Revotes:

Brad

Whoa! And Brad is gone! On his way out, he tells Caleb that he's not mad at him and he's not bitter. Classy move? Maybe. But it's Brad, so he's probably just trying to look good in the event he makes it back into the game.

Monica was right...she didn't think he would stand a chance making it to the merge. Brad is walking into the lion's den as he heads to Redemption Island. He'll be lucky if he makes it to the arena for the next duel, Candice and John might just attack him as he sets foot onto their camp. He says "Before you hit me, I'm waving a white flag". Haha!

Big Brother Australia 10, Week 10 Recap

New Intruders
Boog and Madaline get a letter from Big Brother and they are to decide who is to open it and read it in front of the rest of the housemates. They choose Madaline, and the letter said she can pick 2 housemates to join her in the Garden of Eden. She chooses Tahan and Drew. They talk to her about some of the housemates. Meanwhile, the other housemates ponder whether Ed will go for Madaline. Tim likes them both but thinks Madaline and Ed will get together. He jokes that maybe then he can get Jade back (but he never had her!)

Midnight Family Feast
Mikkayla and Boog are up for this task. If they win, they get a fondue set, if they lose, they win 1 M&M for each housemate. They will be playing the Brain Invaders game like Tim and Justynn did. They will be answering questions about Boog, and Mikkayla must guess what Boog answers. They answered the same for 2 of the 3 questions, so they win!

Eviction Results
24.2% - Tim
17.6% - Jade
17.1% - Drew
14.4% - Ed
14.4% - Mikkayla
12.3% - Katie and Lucy

I am so shocked! It was only a few weeks ago that they were at the top of the list with a surprisingly high percentage, and now they're gone! I really thought it would be Ed. I really like seeing Tim at the top with Drew and Jade not too far behind. But I'm scared because...just because they are at the top week after week, doesn't mean they could end up going next week. I'm not too sad to see Katie and Lucy go because they were kind of getting annoying. I do think they are great girls and I love their positivity, but it's time to move on. Guess who is going to be the happiest person in the world right now? TAHAN! She got her wish.

Nomination Super Power

The Voice, Ep. 5.5

More Blind Auditions...

All of the teams are full with 12 singers each. The next round is the famous Battle Rounds.

Team Adam

Matt Cermanski - Light years better than his audition last year! His voice has improved so much it's crazy! Great song choice! And again...I'm a sucker for a guy and a guitar. This time around he got 3 chairs and a standing ovation...quite an improvement.

Grey - She's got something. We haven't heard too many people like her this season. I felt like she was behind the music a little bit, but her voice sounded really good.

Team Blake

Brandon Chase - He sang Hunter Hayes's "Wanted" and he sounded a lot like him. I think Blake will be able to work with him and help him improve. He wasn't perfect, but he has a lot of potential.

Brian Pounds - Totally country. He's got a nice voice, but sounds like any male country singer out there.

Team CeeLo

Tamara Chauniece - Hate the song...what is that? She has a decent voice, but I'm not impressed. It seems like she's singing all the same note. Finally at the end, we hear some different notes.

Lupe Carroll - He doesn't sound anything like I thought he would. Pleasantly surprised!

Shawn Smith - Another country guy...do we really need another one? Again, nothing special.

Team Christina

Michael Lynch - Not to be confused with the Michael Lynche who was on American Idol. This guy is way better! He sang Enrique Iglesias's "Bailamos". Love this song, and he did an amazing job with it! Love this guy! His voice is really, really clean and clear. It's so funny that he loves to sing in Spanish and he is 100% Irish! Whoa, he picks Christina and then she duets with him in perfect harmony...nice!

Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 17.4

Jack & Cheryl - Quickstep
Look at little Jack go! His frame seems a little sloppy, but his feet are keeping up quite nicely.
Score: 24

Elizabeth & Val - Argentine Tango
So mysterious! This is so much better than last week. She actually showed some passion, and it definitely matched the mood of the dance. Her movements were quick and sharp...very well done! I think this was her best dance by far.
Score: 27

Brant & Peta - Salsa
I hate that Brant is hurt! I really hope he can stick around despite the injury. The rehearsals look so scary...he's dropping her all over the place! Yikes! A previous injury to his shoulder prevents him from doing lifts above his head. Yay...the shirt came off! This dance was just FUN! It had the right amount of shimmy and shake and the right amount of fun lifts that he was able to do. Just really cool!
Score: 21

Valerie & Tristan - Viennese Waltz
Well, this dance is more her speed...slow! But yet she still forgets where she is and looks lost, as she basically walks from place to place. Sorry Valerie, it's time for you to go. Enough pity votes, it's time to get serious. We can't afford to lose better dancers because of her story.
Score: 18

Leah & Tony - ChaCha
Every week, she comes more and more out of her shell. She definitely had the shakes down, but she needs to work a little on her hands. Overall it was really impressive.
Score: 24

Corbin & Karina - Paso Doble
I'm really looking forward to this one! I think he (and his abs) are going to kill it! The beginning was good, but boy did he kick it up a notch when that vest came off! Whoa! Pure passion and power! He was hitting it so hard and in Carrie Ann's words it was "smoldering".
Score: 27

Nicole & Sasha - Jive
I love the cheerleader theme. No wonder she's such a good dancer, she was a cheerleader. I love that they threw in some tumbling....she did a great job! This dance was so fast it's no wonder she was sick this week! So much fun!
Score: 24

Christina & Mark - Foxtrot
Not your typical Foxtrot, that's for sure. It felt more like a Jazz routine until they got to the hold. Mark made that about as fun as you can make a Foxtrot...it was definitely unique.
Score: 24

Amber & Derek - Tango
Another injury! She had to have fluid drained off her knees and she didn't dance until Friday! She did a good job for not getting to practice very much. It was pretty good, but I wasn't blown away by it.
Score: 27

Bill & Emma - Samba
This should be fun! Back to his goofy style after the more serious Paso last week. He was a little all over the place with this one, but at least he was having fun. It's quite obvious now that the more rigid dances he performs more technically, and the Latin, fun, shaky dances are fun, but he just isn't as crisp and precise.
Score: 21

Results:
In Jeopardy: Valerie & Tristan, Brant & Peta, Nicole & Sasha
Eliminated: Valerie & Tristan

Thank you America!

Amazing Race, Ep. 23.2

Leg #2: Iquique Chile -> Santiago, Chile

Detour: Brining or Mining
Both tasks have to do with salt mining. In "Brining" they have to strip down to their bathing suits and carry big bags of salt to a tub full of water. They have to put in enough salt in to float. In "Mining" they have to use sledge hammers to break up big chunks of salt.

Bike riding to the task site proved to be very difficult for Nicole, she was wobbling to and fro and even crashed. Yikes! About half of the teams choose "Mining" and the other half choose "Brining". Shocker: Tim & Marie do nothing but yell at each other through the entire task. These 2 are going to kill each other before this race is over...one of them is leaving in a body bag.

Brandon & Adam emerged first from the Detour, moving from last to first. Nicky & Kim are in last.

The bus going to Santiago is 24 hours...bummer! 5 teams leave on the first bus, some others leave on the 2nd. Rowan & Shane figured out that the bus the other 4 teams are on is making a lot of stops and is going to take a lot longer than 24 hours. The ticket agents tell them another bus leaves at 4 PM...they think they said they would ARRIVE at 4 PM, which they think is going to give them a couple hour lead on the 2nd bus. They act like they are getting on the bus with everyone else, but at the last minute don't get on. They then find out that they don't arrive at 4 PM, they will arrive at 10 PM...uh oh! That totally backfired! There is another bus that will leave in an hour that will get them there around 7/8 PM.

On the bus ride, Nicky & Kim make a connection with Tim & Marie. It just so happens that Kim's husband played minor league baseball with Tim! Tim & Marie say they would like to align with them since everyone else hates them. It looks like Nicky & Kin will be getting the 2nd Express Pass.

Road Block: Shoeshine Carts
They have to shine some shoes and then put together the shoeshine cart and then wheel it through the town to get their clue.

All of the teams just piled everything up, but when they arrived were told they had to actually put it together first.

Chester & Ephraim finish first with Leo & Jamal close behind.

By the time the 2nd bus of racers arrives, it is completely dark. Somehow, Rowan & Shane actually caught up to everyone else. Rowan bothers a guy who was working and made him come with him, only to find out that he had done it wrong and had to start over. Nicky was also having problems and had to start over. She tried to get Marie to give her the Express Pass, but she said she couldn't give it to her there and that she could beat Bingo (aka Rowan & Shane)

Pitstop #2
Leo & Jamal arrived first but didn't completely settle their cab bill, so they had to go back. When they come back to the mat, they start yelling at each other placing blame on each other.

1. Chester & Ephraim
2. Leo & Jamal
3. Brandon & Adam
4. Nicole & Travis
5. Jason & Amy
6. Tim & Danny
7. Ally & Ashley
8. Tim & Marie
9. Nicky & Kim
10. Rowan & Shane -- ELIMINATED

Danie Geimer - Take a Seat -- sending Simone home
Rylie Brown - Go Home
Primrose Martin - Go Home (that was seriously awful...not 1 note was in tune)

X Factor, Ep. 3.7

A new round called the 4 Chair Challenge is introduced. Each act performs and their mentor decides whether to give them a seat or if they will go home. If they get a seat, they aren't safe though. As other acts perform, their mentor could bump them for someone else. After all the acts in their category have performed, the last 4 in the chairs will make it to the live shows. There are 10 in each group, which means that 6 people from each group are going home! I think this is going to be brutal, and we are going to lose some really good people.

Over 25s - Kelly
Victoria Carriger - Take a Seat
Kristine Mirelle - Take a Seat
Jeff Gutt - Take a Seat
Rachel Potter - Take a Seat (she sounded pretty awful and blamed it on being sick)
Lorie Moore - Take a Seat -- sending home Kristine
Allison Davis - Go Home (that was one of the worst performances I've ever heard...absolutely atrocious and a joke to the competition that she made it this far)
Jeff Brinkman - Take a Seat -- sending home Victoria (I can't believe it wasn't Rachel, Victoria is so much better!)
Denny Smith - Go Home (thank goodness!)
James Kenney - Take a Seat -- sending home Jeff Brinkman (every person in the audience has had 4 fingers in the air on every switch and she continues to let Rachel Potter...why? when she said "Jeff" my heart sank...if it was Jeff Gutt I would have died!)
Lillie McCloud - Take a Seat -- sending home Lorie (I am in utter shock...how in the heck does she switch her instead of Rachel? The crowd wanted Rachel out so badly)

FINAL 4: Jeff Gutt, James Kenney, Rachel Potter, Lillie McCloud

Girls - Demi
Bree Randall - Take a Seat
Khaya Cohen - Take a Seat
Jamie Pineda - Take a Seat
Ashly Williams - Take a Seat

To be continued...

Survivor, Ep. 27.3

Redemption Island Duel
Tyson asks Rachel if he should take her place. She tells him that he has a better chance in the game than she does and that he should stay. He then stands up and starts laying down the smack talk to her former tribe and says they better watch their backs because he's coming after them at the next challenge. That sets off a chain reaction and everyone starts getting heated. Brad retaliates and then Marissa shouts at him from the arena floor. Next Gervase is telling her to shut up. And then...Colton bursts into tears. Probst asks him why he's crying and he says he doesn't want to be there any more. Oh the drama! Probst says if he quits it is a selfish move. And then out of nowhere, Probst says that he would be quitting for the second time. Shocker! Colton apparently faked an appendicitis the first time around and was really only treated for a bacterial infection! He didn't really admit to it, but it's an interesting claim by Probst. He confirms that he is quitting the game this time, and then he runs into Caleb's arms and sits on his lap. Whoa! What an idiot! Guess he never grew up.

It's Candice, Marissa and Rachel going head to head (to head). The first 2 to finish stay alive, the loser goes home. The challenge is to stack wooden blocks as dominoes over boards going up and down, while having to maneuver around trip wires. Candice is the first to get her course set up and she releases her ball and it goes the whole way through and she wins again! Marissa and Rachel go back and forth with parts of their blocks getting knocked over or something going wrong with their placement. There are only a few seconds between them, how nerve-wracking! Rachel's block stops short and Marissa's keeps going...Marissa is in, Rachel is out! Aw...I feel bad for Rachel. I thought she would have a good shot in this game. Unfortunately, her tribe wanted to go after Tyson, and she was the casualty. It was really sweet to see him say goodbye to her. He asked her if she had fun, and she said she did. Aw!

As the winner, Candice again gives the clue to the idol to her husband John. I sure hope he starts sharing, because if he doesn't find it, he's in trouble with his alliance.

Galang
Colton is moping as usual. But good-guy Aras is there to reassure him and build him up. I just love Aras! He is calm, cool and collected. He is smart, strategic and oh yeah, he's pretty hot, too! Did I mention, I love Aras? Too bad his positive vibes didn't rub off on Colton and he still decided to just give up.

Tadhana
Brad got a very rude awakening by Tyson and Marissa calling him out as a tyrant. Maybe, just maybe, he'll start to keep his mouth shut. Nah...I don't think he can do it.

Well, John still hadn't found the idol, because he's trying to use his second clue. He finally decided it would be best to share his clue, so he talks to Brad about it. He hopes that this will ease his thoughts about him not being loyal to the alliance. But, he said they shouldn't look for it together because it might look suspicious. Brad sees that as, maybe he doesn't want me with him when he finds it, which is still a bit shady.

Immunity/Reward Challenge
As the tribes read their tree mail, they know they will be physically battling their loved ones. Aras is looking forward to going against his bullying big brother Aras. Vytas is looking forward to going against Aras because he has always been more athletic than him. Vytas and Brad discuss some techniques, while Hayden just laughs at them. This should be good.

Brad vs. Gervase--Brad wins (Tadhana 1)
Laura B vs. Katie--Laura wins (Galang 1)
John vs. Aras--John wins (Tadhana 2)
Ciera vs. Kat--Kat wins...not even close! (Galang 2)
Hayden vs. Tyson--Hayden...not even close! Tyson popped his shoulder out on the hit. Oh no! I sure hope he's going to be OK. He isn't taken out of the game, only the challenge. (Tadhana 3)
Katie vs. Tina--Tina wins! That was crazy, daughter vs. mother and neither was giving in! (Galang 3)
Vytas vs. Aras--Aras wins! That was brutal! I love seeing the raw emotion from both of the brothers. And at the end, they still love each other...awesome. (Galang 4)
Ciera vs. Laura M.--Laura wins! She was crying before they started, but Ciera gave her permission to go after her. (Galang 5)

Galang wins 3 in a row! Their reward is comfort items.

Tadhana After the Loss

The Voice, Ep. 5.4

More Blind Auditions...

Team Adam

Will Champlin - His dad was in the group Chicago. Not many people can pull of a Gavin DeGraw song, but he did a really good job. I think he could do some really good things in the competition. I really like his style and his voice doesn't sound like many others in the competition or anywhere for that matter.

James Irwin - He tried out last year and got no chair turns. I definitely think he is so much better this year! He got 4 chairs this time. Maybe it was the better song choice, but I think his extra work paid off. He gave a really great performance. I never would have expected him to sing an R.E.M. song.

Ashley DuBose - Wow, what a surprise. I didn't expect her to sound like that or be that good. I like her rendition of Rihanna's "Diamonds". Her voice is very sharp and piercing and like Adam said, it cuts like a knife.

Team Blake

Sam Cerniglia - He has such a unique voice. He's kind of a crooner, but also has a growl when he goes down low. But he also can hit some higher notes as well. He started off a little rocky and I wasn't sure where he was going with the song, but by the end, it was really, really good.

Emily Randolph

Justin Chain - This guy is pure country, there is no mistaking that accent. He is much better than the guy Adam picked last night.

Team CeeLo

R. Anthony - He's really interesting. I think he might be limited on what songs he will sound good singing. He definitely had a lot of passion behind his singing.

Keara Lashae

Team Christina

Stephanie Anne Johnson -  I did not expect "Black Horse and a Cherry Tree" from her. It was surprisingly really good.

Olivia Henken - She looks a lot like Carrie Underwood, she sounds a lot like her, and she sang a Carrie song. Tall order, but she killed it.

Amber Nicole
