A new round called the 4 Chair Challenge is introduced. Each act performs and their mentor decides whether to give them a seat or if they will go home. If they get a seat, they aren't safe though. As other acts perform, their mentor could bump them for someone else. After all the acts in their category have performed, the last 4 in the chairs will make it to the live shows. There are 10 in each group, which means that 6 people from each group are going home! I think this is going to be brutal, and we are going to lose some really good people.

Rachel Potter - Take a Seat (she sounded pretty awful and blamed it on being sick)
Lorie Moore - Take a Seat -- sending home Kristine
Allison Davis - Go Home (that was one of the worst performances I've ever heard...absolutely atrocious and a joke to the competition that she made it this far)
Jeff Brinkman - Take a Seat -- sending home Victoria (I can't believe it wasn't Rachel, Victoria is so much better!)
Denny Smith - Go Home (thank goodness!)
James Kenney - Take a Seat -- sending home Jeff Brinkman (every person in the audience has had 4 fingers in the air on every switch and she continues to let Rachel Potter...why? when she said "Jeff" my heart sank...if it was Jeff Gutt I would have died!)
Lillie McCloud - Take a Seat -- sending home Lorie (I am in utter shock...how in the heck does she switch her instead of Rachel? The crowd wanted Rachel out so badly)
