Big Brother Australia 10, Week 13 Recap

No More Gym - Art Studio
Big Brother takes away all of their gym equipment and replaces it with art supplies. Tim Drew a really good picture of Mr. Clooney! Tim then poses in the nude ("I'm not naked, I'm nude There's a difference.") by holding a bowl of fruit to "cover himself" for others to draw him. Madaline's drawing turned out a little better than Tahan's.

Housemate of the Week
One person a week is going to be nominated and they will be able to eat anything from the Executive Fridge. That person will also get hot water whenever they want it and access to the Parlor whenever they want. They get to pick who can share this with. Each of them go into the DR and tell Big Brother why they should be the Housemate of the Week. I like Drew's the best: "I keep Tim under control". lol!

Big Brother selects Drew as the 1st Housemate of the Week! Way to go Drew! He chooses Boog to share the perks with. Unfortunately for Tim, he doesn't know how Drew could win. And to make things worse, the fridge is right out where everyone can see it, but only Drew has the key.

Drew sneaks out some chocolates for Tim and hides them next to his pillow. The lights go out and Tim secretly munches on his chocolates. But...Big Brother catches him! Big Brother tells Drew to get to of the 4 remaining tuna cans out of the pantry and put them in his Executive Fridge. Bummer!!! Tim hid the last piece of chocolate in the pillow and he threw it at Ed. Big Brother told Ed to show what was in it and then told Drew to take another can of tuna! The boys were so afraid of what the girls were going to say.

Drew starts to feel bad about all the food he is getting. Tim and Tahan decided they were going to go on a hunger strike and Drew said he would do it with them, saying he wouldn't eat until they could eat. He also felt bad about causing them to lose their tuna. Tahan didn't last very long on her hunger strike. However, Drew went another route. He offered Big Brother a comfort...his right arm, in order to win back the tuna he lost. So, he pulled his arm out of his shirt and kept it tucked in his pants, leaving him only his left arm to do everything with.

Big Brother asks Tim to be Drew's right-hand-man. If he does things to help Drew, he will be able to eat out of the fridge and go to the parlor with him, along with win back the cans of tuna. He agrees, but he tells Drew that he's not happy with how Drew and Boog have been with the food around him and he said it's like being a third wheel like with Tully. This doesn't go over well with the other housemates, because Tim gets rewarded for his bad behavior, while they are all still on staples. Luckily, Big Brother was happy with Tim and Drew's sacrifice and they won back the tuna, plus a bonus prize of another can of tuna!

Western Theme Party - KFC
The housemates get to dress up in fun western outfits and they are treated with KFC even though they are on staples. Tim is so happy he cries!

They finish off the night with some line dancing and riding around on fake horses!

Freeze & Release

When Big Brother says to "freeze" they have to stop what they are doing...no matter what is going on around them. In order to pass the task NO ONE can move until Big Brother says they can. Plus, anyone who moves could possibly be automatically nominated! Yikes!

First freeze: a clown, who hits them in the face with a pie! Some of them got "creamed" really bad!

2nd freeze: Tim, Drew and Boog were told to freeze while under the hot water and Big Brother turned it to cold water!

3rd freeze: a choir comes into the house and starts singing behind them the song that the girls and guys recorded earlier in the season.

4th freeze: Ed and Jade are called to the Garden of Eden. Big Brother says he is feeling generous and is providing them with a picnic. Just as they are ready to eat, Big Brother freezes them and tells Tim and Tahan to go to the Garden. They get to eat the picnic! ...while Ed and Jade continue to be frozen for an extremely long time!

5th freeze: Ed's twin brother Nick enters the backyard! He even kisses Jade on the cheek! He mussed Tim's hair and kicked a football right at Ed, and didn't budge! He also had fun playing with Mr. Clooney. I really thought Ed was going to break for a second!

6th freeze: Tahan is tempted by her mom and her 4-year-old sister. She starts crying and does her best to hold herself together. That had to be so hard!

7th freeze: Drew, Tahan and Madaline are frozen in the bathroom. Tim calls Boog and Ed to come look at them. Tim starts messing with them and he and Ed put towels on Drew and Tahan's heads and he calls them Jedis! Oh my! And then Tim puts a bra on Drew! Poor Madaline was washing her face and had soap in her eyes the whole time.

8th freeze: Big Brother gave them all ice cream cones because it was really hot out. They all tried to eat them really quickly because they had a feeling Big Brother would make them freeze...and they were right. The ice cream starting dripping everywhere. Tim lost a huge clump as it fell off his cone.

9th freeze. Big Brother makes Drew get up to check his fridge and then freezes them. Then...duh duh duh...Tully comes into the house! She goes over to Drew and messes with his hair. She said that before she left the house, there was something she didn't get to do properly...and then she flat out kisses him...like majorly! She then whispers in his ear that "oh, by the way...I'm single." Holy crap! I don't even know what to think. I loved Tim's face during the whole thing, he was about to lose it. When Big Brother releases them, they all fly out of their seats and go to Drew in disbelief.

10th freeze: Ninjas come in during their family dinner and take away their food, right out of their hands! Oh that's just not fair Big Brother! And their food is replaced with the "loser" meal they would have gotten if they would have failed the food challenge. After they are released, Tim throws a fit and starts throwing food. I would have too, he and Madaline had to do a lot for that food they won.

11th freeze: during a workout, they are frozen and ninjas come into the house and a crane enters. The ninjas put Boog into a harness and lift her up! Oh my gosh! I loved the housemates' expressions as they tried not to laugh! And no sooner did she get lifted up and then they put her down and it was all over.

12th freeze: a nudist colony stumbles through the backyard and goes swimming in their pool.  An old man dropped his towel and bent over right in front of them!

13th freeze: the results of the freeze challenge...even though Big Brother heard giggles and saw more than a few bobbles, he tells them that they have passed the challenge! Yay! They deserve it after all Big Brother put them through this week.

Family Dinner Challenge
Tim and Madaline are the competitors this week. It's a kissing challenge. Tim dresses as a groom and Madaline dresses as a bride. 1. They have to catch 5 floating ping pong balls with their mouths (like Caleb and Matt had to do that one time--passed. 2. Madaline has to kiss stinky fish while Tim recites his wedding vows. I loved Tim's fish voices. She also had to kiss a crab and an octopus...as Tim shoved them right in her face! Oh Tim, that's so mean! They passed that challenge. 3. Tim and Madaline have to lift a heart with their mouths and keep it in place until Big Brother tells them to stop. They passed!

Their reward is the gourmet meal for the house, plus they both get to spend the night in the Presidential Suite!

Surley
In the Presidential Suite, Surley shows himself to Tim and Madaline. He asks them if they want to have fun with the other muppets. Of course, Tim is game. Surley says that Tim and Madaline are going to act out some romantic scenes in front of everyone, with Surley directing. They get to do some practicing and then Surley will have Big Brother show the other housemates. The key is that they are not allowed to tell the housemates that they were acting, and the other housemates are not allowed to tell them that they saw them. Oh boy, this should be good! I think they are good actors, but as we saw with the other kissing challenge, they did a lot of laughing, so I don't know if they will be able to pull it off convincingly.

Finally it's time, and in the backyard, the tv screen came on and they all gathered around, and Tim is talking to Madaline about how luscious her lips are and that she's sexy. Boog stands up and says "you said I was sexy!" Boog starts dying when they talk about sharing the bed! Boog says she's going to barf in her mouth. Before it gets too far, the screen goes off. Jade confirms that Tim did the same thing when they were in the Presidential Suite, so I think they all totally bought it.

Surley told them they were very funny. Surley said they were skeptical at first but they really bought it by the end. Surley said it was because of his good directing, but that they also did a good job acting.

Tim and Madaline did a pretty good job with the questions. But, the other housemates decided to make them think that Bindi Irwin came in the house while they were in the Presidential Suite (because Bindi is Tim's favorite celebrity). He didn't buy it for a second.

Self Portraits
All of the housemates were told to make a self portrait in the art studio. Big Brother tells Tahan that she wins for best self portrait. I, however, think Tim's was the best! Their portraits are going to be auctioned off and the proceeds are going to be used for the bush fires. What a good idea!

Eviction Results
52% - Jade (Seriously?? I cannot believe that Boog didn't get the most votes! You really never can tell with this Australian public, can you?)
37% - Boog
11% - Madaline

I am not surprised at all that Madaline was the one to go. She almost didn't stay, but was saved by Nathan, and she just didn't make very much of an impression. She's a little on the boring side. She's very nice and sweet, but that tends to get lost in a house filled with such big personalities.

I just realized that the 2 groups are now pretty lopsided. The group of Ed, Jade, Mikkayla and Madaline has lost 2 people, and it's just Ed and Jade now. Versus, the group of 4: Tim, Tahan, Drew and Boog is still 4 going strong. It seems that the public really likes the misfits.

Jade & Ed
Before eviction, Jade accidentally told Ed "I love you" just casually in passing. Seconds later, she said "I'm sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. Don't freak out." Then she didn't get evicted and Ed questioned her about it and she got really embarrassed. She said she didn't mean to say it out loud. She admitted she's said it in her head to him a few times. He was reluctant to talk too much about those kinds of things in the house. He doesn't want to say something like that in the house and then have it not happen for them on the outside and have her be crushed. Oh boy...even Mr. Clooney was bored by this "non" conversation.

Final Nominations
OK, there are 6 people left...how can it be the final nominations? Well, Big Brother kind of answered it by saying that next week is the final week. Oh no, I can't believe it's almost over!

This week, the housemates' families will be nominating! The housemates will get 3 points to nominate 1 housemate with. Their family member or friend will get to nominate with the other 2 points.

Nominations--
Tahan's Mom nominates: Jade
Tahan nominates: Drew

Drew's friend/roommate nominates: Tim
Drew nominates: Ed

Tim's Dad (dressed in Tim's skeleton onesie) nominates: Ed
Tim nominates: Tahan

And can I just say...Tim's reaction to his dad wearing his skeleton onesie, was just about the funniest thing ever! Tim just couldn't take it! I think Tim's dad is awesome! This reaction was just so good, that I had to put together a little compilation of Tim's best faces during the nomination process. Enjoy!

Boog's Mom nominates: Ed
Boog nominates: Jade

Jade's cousin nominates: Drew
Jade nominates: Boog

Ed's twin brother nominates: Drew
Ed nominates: Tim

Nomination Results:
7-Drew
7-Ed
5-Jade
5-Tim

Wow...4 original HUGE names are sitting on that nomination bench this week! Tahan and Boog are safe...wow. No one was more shocked than Tahan. Being the most nominated housemate, and then to not get nominated in the final nominations is quite the feat.

I'm sad that Drew got thrown under the bus by so many people. I really wish that we could vote here in the US, because I'm really worried for him this week. I want to think that he'll be fine, because he's done well in the voting before. BUT...you really never know, because Ben went home! I also want to think that Tim will be fine because he is a massive fan favorite, but Jade came away with over 50% of the vote in the last eviction, so what the heck?! It really could be anyone. I REALLY hope it's Jade because I'm kind of tired of her. I think Ed deserves to be there more than she does. I would really like to see him in the house without her to see what would happen.

Oh, and have we seen Ed's "cards" that he said he had to play and was waiting for the right time? Hmm...I really don't think he had anything up his sleeve, to be honest. I would also be OK with him going. JUST AS LONG AS IT'S NOT DREW OR TIM...then I will be totally OK.

Guinness World Record
The housemates really want a movie with chicken wings, so they try to come up with something to do for Big Brother that he would grant their request. They come up with pushing an egg around.  The record was the fastest time to place 6 eggs into 6 egg cups with only one's feet, and the record is 27.42 seconds in Japan. They are very willing to give this a try.

Tim was the fastest with 30.5 seconds (or was that 13.5? I couldn't tell, but they didn't seem too excited, so that's why I think it was 30.5).

Then Big Brother says that the record holder did it with her legs over her head! It was so funny to see them try this! Tahan was quite good.

They didn't beat the world record, but they did set a Big Brother record, so Big Brother is going to let them watch Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
