Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.10

Attack of the Jellyfish
Juelia and Tenley were going into the ocean, and immediately, Juelia is stung by a jellyfish. She forced Tenley to pee on her foot. She put her foot over the toilet, and Tenley did her business. It apparently worked, as they both laughed and giggled the whole time.

Chelsie & Nick
Carly is so stoked that Chelsie is talking to Dan. She really wants her to take him on the date. Jared is also hoping for the same thing, so Samantha will go home. She then pulls Nick aside..."dang it", says Carly.

So she goes on the date with Nick, and their date is on a huge yacht. They of course did the obligatory Titanic reference. They're having a great time, but Nick doesn't think that they are having a romantic connection.

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.9

Joe & Samantha & Justin
Joe can't believe that Sam would agree to go on a date with someone after what they had. Basically, he doesn't see that she did the same thing to him that he did to Juelia. Sam came to talk to him and she said she was thinking about him a lot and decided it wasn't fair to go on a date with someone when she was thinking about him. He was ecstatic!

Justin decides to ask Amber out instead. She said Dan has been moving slowly after their date, so she decides to accept his offer, to see if it makes Dan jealous.

Before asking her out, he said he didn't have Plan B., so I wonder what he's going to do. Joshua asked Chris if he was going to ask anyone else, and if not, rather than let it go to waste, he would like to use it with Tenley. Ha! Chris told him to make good use of it.

Nick asks Chris what he's going to do now. Chris says he might as well go home. He took off (or stumbled off, I should say), and took off his mic, and just wandered into the distance.

Justin & Amber's Date

Big Brother, Ep. 17.30

HOH Comp, continued
We last left the comp with all 4 jurors still hanging on, and only a couple regular houseguests. Meg, Julia, and Steve had fallen off before the live show ended on Thursday. We actually see their falls, and both Julia and then Steve, fell off before Meg...shocking!

Next off is surprisingly James. Or not so surprising, as his techniques for holding on were pretty wild and reckless. Liz is next off, after slipping into an unfortunate position with the foot disc.

Jackie is the first jury member down. We're down to Vanessa as the only regular houseguest left, along with 3 jury members. How awesome would it be for one of them to be the last one remaining?! And with that Becky fell and soon after Shelli was off. That means Johnny Mac is back in the game! Woohoo! Way to go Johnny Mac! This would be such a sweet win for him after being ousted only about 1/2 hour before this.

It's funny that they are making this endurance comp seem like it lasted for hours. When in reality, the whole thing was done in about 15 minutes.

Vanessa tells John that he is safe. He doesn't want to drop, but part of him believes that they made up and decided to work together before the eviction. She told him she really wanted to hear from her girlfriend, and he said he wanted a letter, too. She said she could go another hour and a half. Finally, John, *knowing* that he is safe, and he is in a lot of pain...he decides to let go. He wanted it to look like he didn't really think he was safe so they wouldn't think that they are working together.

Comp and John's Return...the Aftermath

Big Brother, Ep. 17.29

I've been watching the blogs that watch the feeds, and while it's been back and forth, it unfortunately looks like our dear Johnny Mac is going to be going tonight. The Austwins are dumb and they just want him out, badly. Meg and James  (aka The Goblins) were close to coming around, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. Who would have thought that the only person truly in his corner would be Vanessa? She campaigned and campaigned hard to both sides to keep him, but it doesn't appear that either side is budging. Usually what Vanessa wants, happens, so I thought that might be good for him, but it looks like she fails this week. The good news is that someone from jury comes back tonight, and we know that John is a great competitor. He will have his work cut out for him with Shelli, though. Becky could be tough, too. I don't think he has to worry too much about Jackie, though, However, even if he is lucky enough to come back, he's right back where he started, and next week, he might find himself right out the door again (unless the returnee is awarded immunity). But we have to think positively, and hope he's coming back. I can't imagine the game without him! Our only comedic relief will be James.

Side note: why is the alliance name "The Goblins" used all over the feeds, but we have never once heard it mentioned on the tv episodes?

There will be a boat with supplies and each tribe has to try to gather as many supplies as they can. The twist is that there is another boat 100 yards out that has a big bag of rice. So, they have to decide how much time to spend gathering for supplies before racing out to ge the bag of rice before the other tribe.

Update: 8/25/15
Today there were tons of posts online with spoilers for some of the new twists for this season of returning players. I'd love to recap it all, but this Xfinity post sums it all up very nicely. Check out that article to find out more about: (1) different looking idols (2) idols hidden inside the challenges instead of at camp (3) redos of previous challenges that the contestants did on their season (4) going from 2 tribes and switching it up to try to break up alliances, and (5) possible return of the "extra vote" reward.

Original Post Date: 5/26/15
As voted by the public, here are our 20 Survivors who are all getting a second chance to play the game. We're going all the way back to Season 1, which took place 15 years ago!

The game has changed tremendously over the years. Will some of these players who played so long ago be able to adapt to the newer strategies and playing styles? Will their bodies be able to handle the game now that they have aged? All will be revealed soon!

For the first time ever, this cast was totally voted on by the public. The cast found out live on the Season 30 Reunion show that they would be competing in Season 31, and they immediately took off for Cambodia that night! Filming starts on May 29th and will run through July 5th. In a first for the show, seasons will be airing out of order. The cast for Season 32 was selected awhile ago and already filmed the season, however, it will actually air after Season 31 (even though it filmed before). Those poor Survivors are going to have to wait a long time to find out who their winner is, and what a long time to keep hush-hush about their time on the show.

I'm sure I will be updating this post with more information as the season gets closer to airing, so check back for the latest!

Big Brother, Ep. 17.28

Nomination Aftermath
Austin thinks putting Steve and John on the block was the least risk to his game. Nice move, buddy.

Steve is fuming! He wasn't supposed to be on the block with John. Steve appreciates that Vanessa is working some special magic for her to not be nominated yet again.

John and Steve are trying to decide if either of them are really the target. John is sure that no one will use the Veto, so they say they have to win it. No duh!

Austin told Steve that if the noms stay the same, Steve will be safe. Their deal with John was the last deal that was made, so he's out. He told Steve if the Veto is used, he thinks he has to put Vanessa up.

Liz wants Vanessa out of the loop. She wants to separate John and Steve. She doesn't trust John because she doesn't know where his head is at. She is really worried because Austin still doesn't know who he wants to target.

Veto Player Draw
Austin draws Vanessa
John draws Meg
Steve draws Julia

John draws Meg's name again, and he's happy because she is a weak competitor and doesn't have a whole lot going on upstairs. Julia finally got picked to play in her first Veto competition and she was so excited.

Zingbot!!!!
I love Zingbot! I'm hoping for some good zings!

James - "I've heard that Meg is going to take you someplace very, very special after the show...the friend zone! Out of your league, zing!"

Julia -  "Liz, I'm confused. Suddenly you're less attractive, less intelligent, and less charming. Oh wait, that's just Julia! Zing!"

Steve - "What's less cool than a trombonist who cries for his mommy? Nothing! Zing!"

Austin - "Will someone please take out the trash. It stinks in here. Oh wait, that's just Austin!"

Meg - "Your New York attitude is very Sex and the City. Too bad your gameplay is more Sucks in the City!"

John - "5 out of 5 dentists agree. The only thing less attractive than your laugh is your back hair! Zing!"

Vanessa - "You have been playing a masterful game. Assuming that game is the crying game! Zing!"

Liz - "You've become such an important part of Austin's life. Are you more excited to meet his mom, his dad, or his girlfriend?! Zing!"

Liz is kind of mad. She knew Austin had a girlfriend (or ex). She started asking a bunch of questions and now Austin's mad because they have a Veto to play.

Veto Competition
It's the face mashups comp. Each Fembot photo will be a combination of 3 houseguests.

Julia is first and her time is 4:45
Steve timed out and didn't beat Julia's time
Austin timed out and didn't beat Julia's time (he messed up thinking part was Liz and he was wrong)
Vanessa's time is 2:51, and has the new time to beat (boo! of course she would be good at this)
John timed out and didn't beat Vanessa's time
Meg timed out and didn't beat Vanessa's time (she got stuck on her own nose)

...which means, the worst possible thing happened...Vanessa won Veto. Booooooooo!

Rampant Paranoia
John knows his life in the BB house is in trouble. Vanessa starts to pump him for information. She asks him if he's over what happened to Becky and Clay. He said he's over it and he's alone in the game. He said they might be the biggest enemies but it's stupid to keep going at each other. He realizes that he is desperate so he has to take what he can get. She said she would like to work with him and she would like him to stay. She said she would talk to Austin to see where his head's at. She would have to get his approval to use the Veto, because she doesn't want him pissed at her.

Vanessa said John's back is against the wall and they could keep him in their back pocket. She said they need to split up Meg and James. Austin said James will be irrational if they go after Meg because James feels for Meg the way he feels for Liz. He is worried about their backlash and on top of that, the not knowing who is coming back from jury. Basically what he's saying is - "I'm a wimp, and I don't want to make any risky moves whatsoever." Vanessa tells John that she tried, but Austin isn't budging. John tells her that he was in a 5-person alliance with them last week in order to get Vanessa out. That alliance included Steve - Steve, whom Vanessa was also trying to work with earlier in the episode. Uh-oh Steve...Vanessa might be coming after you now! She is confused why they would flip the script on her.

Vanessa confronts Liz (or Julia) about the 5-person alliance to get her out. She said it wasn't true. After some more pushing, She confessed it was all Steve's idea and he orchestrated the whole thing. She said he did it because he and Johnny Mac are close and are working together. She thinks Steve played her for a fool.

Vanessa confronts Steve about the alliance. He denies that he had anything to do with it. He starts breathing really, really hard. He is so worried that he's just been found out and he has no idea what to do or say right now. Classic Vanessa move, she keeps pushing and pushing until she was sure she had him caught in his lie. He continued to deny it, but she said she would be breathing heavy too. Man, I thought he was going to hyperventilate and pass out there for a second.

Veto Meeting
Of course Vanessa doesn't use the Veto. This really was no surprise. If she used it, who would go up? Austin was not going to put up Liz or Julia, and he already said he didn't want to go after Meg or James.

Vanessa's speech targeted Steve and his backstabbing ways. At this point, it looks like she wants John to stay. This could be really good for John. Vanessa runs this house and what she says usually goes. So...if she can sway the twins or Meg and James, John has a chance to stay! Everyone cross your fingers!

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.8

Ashley I and Joe
Ashley I thought Joe could commiserate with her because he got broken up with just like she did. He basically told her to suck it up, as she bawled her eyes out in front of him. Which then made her even more upset. But he did ask her who she was going to give her rose to and she said she didn't know. We all know what he was thinking...she could be my chance to get a rose, since all of the other people are coupled up.

She was able to go 3 hours without crying, and she had a heart-to-heart with the bartender Jorge.

Mikey & Juelia's Date
Wow, I totally called it that he was going to get the next date card. He obviously asked Juelia, adn she obviously said yes.

They have barely taken off in the plane and they are already making out. She says Mikey is a man, and Joe is just a boy.

Juelia is sure that they are going to do something romantic. They end up at a lucha libre wrestling match. Afterwards, the crowd cleared out and they had their own wrestling match inside the ring. They fake pushed each other into the ropes and "threw" each other around. Looks like they had a blast.

Mikey seems like a different person when he's around Juelia. He isn't the "meathead" he is around all the other girls. He didn't try to force himself on her like he did on Clare. He actually does have a sweet side and he's not all jokey all the time.

Their date was an overnight date, and they decided to share a room.

Juelia said it's been a long time since she's been so excited about someone and so happy thinking about the future. Sorry Juelia, but I think you said the same thing about Joe just a few days ago. :(

Joe & Samantha

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.7

We pick up with the Joe vs the house drama. There really isn't any more that can be said about this whole situation...so unless something earth shattering happens, I'm just going to leave it with everything that we had last week, and you can read last week's post to fill yourself in (in case you've been living under a rock for the last week).

Cocktail Party
There are 3 more girls than there are guys, so there will be 3 girls going home.

Jade said a lot of things needed to be said tonight to make things right. They all confronted Joe and Samantha about what was done...yet again. They think that Joe is starting to own up to what he did, but Samantha isn't. Joe is saying that they talked before the show, but she is still denying it. She looks like an idiot right now because she's clearly lying. Joe wouldn't be lying and saying they did if they really didn't, so that makes it pretty darn obvious that she's lying.  Again, not much is accomplished by this conversation.

Since the last cocktail party, Ashley I. hasn't gotten much from Jared. He kissed her then, and now there isn't a whole lot going on between them. But, he does kiss her again and she thinks they have more chemistry than what they started with. She said she is a much better kisser with Jared than she was with Chris's "paper thin lips". Ouch! She thinks they are totally on the same page right now. You know what that means...he's going to probably drop a bomb on her (judging from the previews).

People are trying to convince JJ to give Juelia his rose so she can stay. He's clearly set on giving it to Megan. Juelia doesn't want a sympathy rose, so she goes to Chris and says she wanted a fair chance at love. She wondered if there was any way that Mikey could come back. She said what Joe did to her was unfair and someone who didn't deserve to go home did.

Rose Ceremony

Big Brother, Ep. 17.27

HOH Competition, continued
Round 2: Julia accidentally let go of one of the buttons and was disqualified

Round 3: Vanessa's foot comes off the button and is disqualified

Round 4: John got to the buzzer last and was eliminated (No!!!! He was bummed that Steve beat him)

Round 5: Steve flinched and false started, so he was disqualified

Round 6: James vs. Austin -- Austin beats him to the buzzer by a sliver of a second (James was hilariously trying to fake Austin out and trick him into false starting...I don't know how it didn't work)

So, great. Austin winning is basically like Liz winning. We know that Austin can't think for himself, so he will be doing whatever Liz (or whoever else he let's influence him) wants. Ugh! I'm so over the Austwins alliance! Let's face it...Clay and Shelli were the only part of that alliance that I ever really liked. I never thought I would actually be rooting for James and Meg! I just wish James and Meg would form something solid with Johnny Mac and Steve and take control!

Austin's Alliances with Everyone

Big Brother, Ep. 17.26

Who's Going?
Fingers crossed...the feeds are suggesting that Becky will be going. But...things can turn on a dime in this house, so I won't feel safe until the votes are made.

Johnny's strategy is the "dead fish strategy" - lay out on the table and don't do anything until Thursday!

I still don't like how comfortable John feels. I also don't like that he trusts Steve.

New Alliances
I don't know if I trust Steve. I think it makes sense for John and Steve to be a tight alliance, because they don't really have anyone else. However...Steve has been somewhat of a mystery to me and he's made some weird votes. The feeds suggest that John's trust and "understanding" of his alliance with Steve is kind of one-sided. I think Steve would throw him right under the bus if he needed. to. They talk about joining one of the 2 bigger groups, and which side they would rather join. Obviously they would rather be with Meg and James, but on that side they are the bigger targets than if they join the Austwins.

Liz and Julia talk to Steve and John and tell them they would like to work with them. They know what Vanessa's been up to and everything they have told them about her has been proven true this week.

Becky kind of throws John under the bus in the HOH room by saying he's been the pawn all season. She said if she stays, everyone knows that Vanessa is her target. So now that John and Becky have told them that their target is Vanessa, they just need to figure out who is better for their game.

The Votes
Johnny...your speech...just no! You do NOT tempt the house like this! (but it was funny though)

"This girl (Becky) does nails, highlights hair, cleans and cooks like a machine...and I do none of those things Keeping me would be really, really dumb, but I want to stay, so I would appreciate your vote".

Steve -- Becky
Vanessa -- Becky
Meg -- Becky
Austin -- Becky (...even though her breakfast is made with real fruit)
Julia -- Becky
James -- Becky

Whew! John dodged a bullet on this one...I'm glad they all stuck to their word. I didn't love or hate Becky, but I definitely liked her more than some of the others in the house. I wish she wasn't leaving, because she might be the only person to get Vanessa out, but...I'd much rather it be her than Johnny Mac! I think I would root for her to come back into the game, and hopefully Johnny Mac will still be there to help him out.

John HAS to win HOH, he just HAS to!!! I'm afraid he is in so much trouble if he doesn't. No more throwing the comps Johnny...it's time to win!

HOH Competition
Well, based on the time left in the episode tonight, it looks like it's going to be a continued competition :( Gonna have to keep an eye on the feeds spoilers to find out what happens!

There will be 6 rounds of races. Each round, someone will be out. It's literally a race. They are watching for the word "Go", and when they see "Go" they release 3 buttons and race to the other side of the yard and buzz in. The last person to buzz in is out. There are decoy words, and if they release any of their buttons before "Go" it is a false start and the first false starter is out. This is nuts...it could be a matter of seconds or up to 30 minutes in between...wow! This is going to take some mad concentration.

Round 1: Whoa...Meg is way out! Not even close! Anyone shocked about that?!

...and that's all we get to see :(

And, Julie makes the announcement that everyone's been expecting. There are now 3 jury members, and next week there will be the 4th. At next week's live eviction, someone will be re-entering the house.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.25

Nomination Aftermath
Vanessa tries to convince John that he doesn't have anything to worry about, in order to try to smooth things over with him. He isn't buying it that she is over their little spat. He wants to let the whole house know that he is coming for Vanessa.

Austin gets all bent out of shape because John gave him the "death look". He can't believe he would be mad at him, the twins don't know why he would be either. Austin says he wants to go yell at him.

Steve tells John that he needs to stop going at it with Vanessa. He will do whatever it takes to keep him safe this week, and hopes to smooth things over with the twins. Steve tells him he needs to eat a good breakfast. The twins say that John worries them and that he's volatile. Steve asked them if they ever talk and they said no. Steve reassured the twins, Austin, and Vanessa that if John stays he won't target them.

Time out for a classic hilarious John moment: Becky wakes up and asks John if someone is in the other bed (because the covers are a little mounded up). He walks over to the bed, raises his leg and smashes it down into the covers. Good thing no one was there, or I don't think they would have appreciated that too much. LOL! OK, time back in.

John goes up to the HOH room and Austin wants to know what John was going to tell them when he walked in on Vanessa. John said that Vanessa told him that she was up there to make sure he wasn't going on the block. Liz and Austin were shocked! Yet another Vanessa lie! ...it was a lie, but wouldn't you think that Austin and Liz might be a little skeptical seeing as John could just be lying to try to save himself?...this house believes EVERYTHING that ANYONE tells them! John tells them that he has been going after Vanessa the whole game, he just hasn't told anyone because everyone loves Vanessa. He has been holding onto things that he's known about for quite some time now. They all agree that she is really paranoid and she does nothing but talk and manipulate everything that everyone says. John said that anyone that she has had a blowup with goes home. Well, that is true, and it will be true again this week because she has had a blowup with both John and with Becky.

Time out for another classic James scare move! This week's victim -- Julia. In the dark, Captain Camo stealthily moves through the room and walks creepily up to Julia's bed, lays down next to the bed (keep in mind she can't see anything and doesn't know he's there). She thinks someone is in the room, she thinks it's James and yet he still freaks her out and she leaves the room screaming. Gotta love James. OK, time back in.

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.6

Guess what! It's a dramatic new episode with a new scandal! What?!

Joe & Samantha...& Juelia
Juelia is devastated by how Joe is treating her. Confronting him did no good. He thinks he's done nothing wrong. Well, he's gonna have to do some major damage control because Juelia and Jade tell Samantha everything that has happened. Samantha stopped Juelia and said that this part of the conversation shouldn't take place without him in the conversation because it's all one-sided. She thinks it will be more honest in a group setting with everyone who is involved. Samantha thinks she is just causing drama. She said she is on Cloud 9 right now with Joe. Juelia thinks it's fishy that Samantha wants Joe in on the conversation. She thinks she should trust a friend over some guy. The girls are all rallying behind Juelia and they can't believe what Samantha did to her.

Samantha went and told Joe what they said to her. He told her that he is only there for her and she knew that even before they came to paradise.

Tanner tells Jared that Joe sent him a text that was from Samantha before the show. She told him to do anything at all costs to stay in paradise until she gets there. So...the scandal is that Samantha was in on this the whole time and her part in this was completely shady! The guys confront both Sam and Joe. Sam tries to push the guys out the door. Tanner knows they both have a battle plan. Whoa...now there's "hidden" cameras showing Sam talking to Joe. She told him what she said in her interview and that she said they hadn't talked and there was no plot. She basically wanted him to say the same thing so their stories would match up. He said he's already interviewed and she told him what he could say to basically cover it up. She tells the cameras in the interview that they are telling the truth and there was no conspiracy, but...the cameras shooting in between the bunk beds clearly show us that they are both LYING!!! She told him not to come across defensive, and then she notices the camera that was filming them and she goes and shuts the door. TOO LATE!!!

Amber Arrives
Amber is hoping that Dan is here. Funny how that worked out...he just broke up with Ashley S. last night! She asked if it was bad if she didn't want to ask the 411 before asking someone out. Samantha said, no, she did it. So, she asks Dan. Dan said he wanted to talk to her. Meanwhile, Ashley S. is sad/happy to see Amber. She is crying but she says she is so happy to see her because she just makes her smile. I'm so confused.

Dan fills Amber in on where he's at with Ashley S. He said they hit it off early on, but recently he's had some questions. He told her that she told him that she's there for him and doesn't want to be there if she's not with him. He said he wanted to talk to her before he accepts her offer.

He talks to Ashley and he apologized for not coming to talk to her all day. He said he deals with things by pulling back. He wanted to clear the air, but she is mad at him because he can't be a man to her all day. He couldn't just tell her that he didn't like her and not lead her on. He said he still has feelings for her and what happened the night before didn't change that. Well, that's kind of something confusing to say.

Later Ashley has a breakdown and she says Dan is basically a horrible person. He led her on and doesn't even care. She then goes off to flirt with some of the parrots. Jade said crazy Ashley is back. Kirk thinks her eyes are empty and she is out of her mind...as she is talking to the birds and letting them climb all over her head and then she smiled as it pooped in her hand.  Later, "the onion girl" starts to come out...as Tanner said, and she is now talking to the crabs and saying how they smile. Tanner pitties Dan because breaking up with Ashley has made her crazy. I actually think she was bonkers way before this.

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.5

Clare Drama/Rose Ceremony, continued...
Clare is trying to pull herself together. She's crying so uncontrollably that she can't even talk to Chris. Everyone else can't understand why she's making such a big deal, because she has the rose to give out, not the other way around. They all thought she might leave, but we all knew she would stay (thanks to spoilers).

Ashley I. gives her rose to Jared (and he accepts). Ashley's having a great night (according to herself) -- she kissed the guy she liked and didn't look ridiculous and Clare had a major meltdown.

Clare gives her rose to JJ (he shakes his head, but he accepts; couldn't tell if that was an "oh man, not Clare" head shake, or an "I can't believe I got a rose" shake)

Juelia gives her rose to Joe (did we have any doubt about that one?)

That means that Mikey, Jonathan, and Michael are all going home. Mikey and Jonathan tried to warn Juelia about Joe, but she thinks they are all lying and that Joe can't wait to get to know more about her and spend more time with her. I would hate to be her when she watches all this back. And the guys who thought Joe was their friend? "Rose before bros" couldn't have felt good to hear.

Samantha Arrives

Big Brother, Ep. 17.24

Double Eviction Fallout, aka "The Demise of Steve"
No one knows what Steve was thinking putting up Meg and Jackie. I don't even think Steve knows what just happened. James thinks someone gave Steve some wrong information.

Steve said he didn't want to win HOH. He guessed on the final question and he was the only one who got it right. He said no one would vote out Meg, and Jackie is the only one who he has heard talking negatively about him and trying to get him out. The person who told him that was...none other than Vanessa. He knows Becky would have been a better target, and he knows that he just lost the game.

Meg doesn't feel bad for Steve because he said he didn't need to talk to anyone before making his decision.

The twins went to talk to him and he broke down sobbing...like, really sobbing. They thanked him for keeping them safe when he could have easily turned on them. They tried to reassure him that no one hates him for what happened. Vanessa came in and just cradled him like a baby as he just sobbed on her shoulder. He finally asked everyone to leave because he just wanted to be alone. Then he creepily told the camera that he was 50% acting.

Steve asked if Meg and Becky if they wanted to talk and he said he owed them an explanation. He said he didn't want to win HOH and was not prepared with who he would put up. He said Jackie is the only person he's heard that wanted him to be put up. Meg said Jackie had no intention of ever putting him up. Becky said they know that that idea came directly from Vanessa. Becky and Meg said they blame his HOH mess-up on Vanessa and they aren't mad at him because they see the big picture of what's going on.

Each side of the house is hoping to pull Steve to their side. John thinks Steve will be welcomed by Austin, the twins and Vanessa because he put up people from the other side of the house.

HOH Competition
They will play in head-to-head match-ups to answer questions about a screen full of emojis.

Round 1:
James vs. Meg -- Meg wins
Austin vs. John -- John wins
Vanessa vs. Julia -- Julia wins
Becky vs. Liz -- Liz wins

Round 2:
Meg vs. John -- John wins
Julia vs. Liz -- Liz wins (Julia got it wrong)

Round 3:
John vs. Liz -- Liz wins HOH

Noooo! I really wanted John to win this! He is possibly in trouble this week :( And sadly, even though I knew the outcome, I was still hoping what I heard was wrong...especially since I know the outcome of the nominations.

Target Talk/Alliance Names
IMMEDIATELY after winning HOH, Vanessa cornered the twins and talked about who the target should be. She thinks Becky. Then...John walks in, and he just takes his good old time...lol!!

Liz would like to backdoor Becky, and she would put up John and Meg. Vanessa said Meg is not a threat. John can win comps, but they can work with him. Vanessa thinks it would be better to put up both John and Becky together because even though Becky is a good competitor, John can beat her. Austin said if Becky wins Veto, they can put up Meg and send John home or putting up James and send him home. No one likes the idea of sending John home (whew!), but they do like backdooring James.

Finally, there is a need for a new alliance name since 2 of the 6th Sense have gone home. Vanessa suggests "Austin's Angels". No. Just...no. Austin does nothing in this alliance, it should not be centered around him and his name. It should be something like Vanessa's Minions, since she gets everyone to do dirty deeds for her.

Becky talks to Liz, Julia, and Austin. She tells them just how dangerous Vanessa is. Austin still keeps coming back to the time that Vanessa was HOH and he was potentially going to be put up to be backdoored. He asked Becky if someone was supposed to throw the Veto comp...because this is very important for him to know. Becky said "yes" and she said Vanessa knew about it. That made him so mad. Really, he should have known that Vanessa knew. Duh...she was HOH! The twins' minds are also blown as they find out all this new information about Vanessa.

Liz and Austin talk to James and Steve. James and Steve have been hanging out A LOT! It's turning into quite the little bromance.  Steve likes books. James likes beer. The little video package of them together was absolutely hilarious! They were even wearing matching hats!

Vanessa joins, and thinks they all need to come up with an alliance name. Steve suggests using first letters of their names. They all think that's stupid. Austin suggests Sickos, Weirdos, and Freaks, or the Alternative Lifestyle Group. Oh my gosh...dumbest names ever!! Steve suggests Geek Squad or Freak Squad and then Austin said Freaky Geeks. Liz (or Julia) said HBIC (Hot Bitches in Charge). Wow, these people are so dumb. If they can't even come up with a decent name, they should not be in power. They finally settle on The Scamper Squad. I have no idea what that means. So stupid.

John and Vanessa
John asked Vanessa if he was going on the block. She said she didn't know because Liz makes her own decisions. He knows she talked to Liz, though. She said she knows for a fact that he is not her main target. Vanessa says John is someone she would like to work with, but because of the whole fight with Clay things have been weird between them. So, she wants to get everything between them out on the table. She said she wants to help him, but she's not sure where he's at. She wants to make sure that what she tells him that she's afraid that anything she tells him will go back to Becky. He said he wouldn't say anything. She asks him if he would like to know what she thinks he could do to improve his game (that doesn't sound all holier than thou, does it?). He said "sure". She said she thinks that he has something against her that she thinks is unfounded and she's not sure where it came from. He said that during their fight, he felt like he was being bullied. She didn't understand why he felt that way. He said that he felt like she asking him to throw one of 2 people under the bus and he had no idea what was going on. She said she doesn't think it's fair to say it was all her fault. He laughed and said this is only coming up because she is talking about it. He said in the DR that he was just trying to tell her his feelings and where he was coming from and she didn't like that, and she's afraid if too many people think that she is a bully that she will be in trouble. She asked him if they were on the same page, and he said they were. She said that him using the word "bully" with her is not something you say when you're cool with someone and that worries her. She asked him again if they were on the same page with the incident or if he thinks she could have handled things differently. He was totally honest with her and said that he doesn't like it when she cries and yells at people. She looked shocked. She said in the DR that she was trying her hardest to pull him into an alliance and let him know that he can trust her, but he was doing everything he could to make it seem like she was targetting him. She told him that she is sorry he feels that way and he won't ever have to worry about that happening with him.

What's coming next...I read this on the live feeds and it made me sooooo mad! Vanessa smelled blood and she was out for the kill...

After her talk with John, she could clearly tell that he was skeptical of her and if he shared his thoughts about her with anyone else in the house she would be in trouble, so she went on the offensive. She ran up to the HOH room and said she got some bad info on John. She said after the conversation she just had with him, she's not sure he should just be the pawn anymore. Before she could say anything else, John slinks up to the HOH room. Vanessa asks if she can finish talking to them first. He said it just looks fishy because he and Vanessa were just talking and now she is up there talking. He wanted to make sure they were OK. Vanessa said they were, so he reluctantly left. Vanessa thinks that John is just crazy and he's playing the "dumb" card.

Liz isn't sure if she can believe what Vanessa is telling them after what Becky told them. Liz -- PLEASE DON'T LISTEN TO VANESSA!!!!!!

Nominations
Liz nominates John and Becky.

I don't like this. I don't like this one bit. All I can hope for is that Johnny wins Veto and Vanessa goes up as a backdoor.

SPOILER ALERT: Liz won the Veto and the word on the feeds suggests that she is leaning toward NOT using the Veto. Even though none of them can trust Vanessa, they all think that she is a huge target for the other side of the house, and as long as she is still there, she will be targeted before them. They also would like to keep her until at least 4 people are in the Jury. The reason: they usually bring someone back in the game when there are 4 in Jury. They don't want any chance of Vanessa coming back in the game.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.23

We're in for a full night...it's a double eviction! And the 2 evictees will be this season's first jury members.

Veto Aftermath
Needless to say, Vanessa is ticked, upset, and emotional. She kind of pulls an Audrey - she pulls her hat over her face and goes and hides in bed. When she emerged, she confronted Becky in the backyard. She said what Becky said was harsh. Vanessa felt betrayed because supposedly Becky and 7 others all agreed not to put each other on the block or vote to evict. Vanessa went around the room and basically forced everyone to say they agreed. What they showed, Becky looked like she didn't answer. Vanessa said she went back on her word and was cold-hearted, and Becky responded by saying she was basically put in a room, pointed at, and forced to do what Vanessa said.

Vanessa then makes the rounds to secure votes. She first went to Steve. He said she had his vote, but secretly he said he was going to stick with the person who was staying in the house, and that was Shelli. She played James using her emotions. She said Becky was dangerous and she told James that Becky said he was her target before she was HOH. She said that every conversation he had with her went back to Clay and Shelli. James suspected there was a rat in their group, and now he knows who it is. He takes the info back to Meg and Jackie. They think Shelli has a better chance to keep winning challenges.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.22

Steve, Steve, Steve
What can you say about Steve? He's just so weird! He talks to himself/the cameras more than anyone we've seen. He said that Becky's speech was entirely accurate. He doesn't get along with her on a strategic level and he would like nothing more than to win Veto to basically throw it in Becky's face so she can become his target next week.

What's this? Steve is talking to another human being? He actually approached Vanessa. She wanted to make a deal with him. She wants him to pick her to play Veto if he would draw Houseguest's Choice. She would play hard for him and would try to take him off. She said she also made the same deal with Shelli.

Shelli & John
They decide to catch up and make sure they are both on the same page. Shelli asked him if the plan really was to backdoor Vanessa. He said "I think so?"...kind of as a question. She said if she gets Houseguests Choice, she wonders what she should do. She told Vanessa she would pick her. She wondered if she should pick John. She's worried that if she picks him that Vanessa will think something's up. They are both worried that if Steve wins Veto and Shelli stays on the block with her that the plan could easily flip and she would be in trouble. John said he would talk to Steve and he said he was going to Veto her. John seems like he really does want to work with Shelli. She really needs him this week. He's done so much for her and Clay already though...will he continue to put himself in jeopardy?

John told Steve the plan to backdoor Vanessa. Steve is upset. He wants to tell Vanessa what they are doing, but by doing that, he's only shifting the target from her to himself. John wants Steve to pick him if he gets Houseguest Choice. Then John told him the even worse news: if John plays and wins Veto, he won't be saving him, he will be saving Shelli (in order to ensure that Vanessa would be going home). Steve said he was basically asking him to volunteer to go on the block. John was like "yeah". Oh my how the tables have turned! For weeks, it was everyone coming to Johnny Mac and saying will you please do this for us? And he would sheepishly agree. Now he's doing the same thing to Steve! Steve asked if he thinks he is safe, and John said he was. Steve asked why. John said "because you haven't won anything!". John said he really wants to work with him and Shelli because they don't really have anyone else. He said he was really trusting him with a lot of stuff.

John leaves, and Steve is alone with his thoughts (and the cameras). He says "my 2 closest allies hate each other...I have no idea what to do...I have no idea what to do. Mom, I need you right now". Wow...

Liz & Austin
Liz admits that her relationship with Austin started out purely strategic. She said the more she hangs out with him, the more she likes him. Her relationship with him could be turning into something more. She said his personality has won her over. She hopes that one day, she will be able to convince him to chop off his ponytail beard. Yes, please!

Veto Player Draw
Becky draws Austin
Shelli draws Houseguest's Choice and she chose Vanessa (of course, the one thing she didn't want)
Steve draws Meg

John is FREAKING OUT! He thinks she is going to ruin the whole plan. Shelli told John that she didn't know what to do. She said if she didn't pick Vanessa, Vanessa would be blowing up right now. John thinks if Vanessa doesn't get picked to play, she doesn't have a chance to fight for herself, and she goes home, so it doesn't matter. Shelli thinks that was the only move to save herself because she is sure that Vanessa will play hard and that she will save her if she wins.

Veto Competition
It's a one-at-a-time competition, where they have to match up the comic book covers and put them in the correct order. They will zip on a zipline to look at the wall and then line up the comics. To make it harder, each cover has a decoy. This comp would be cool if it wasn't a complete copy of one they did last year. I mean it is a complete copy in the zipline and the superheroes on the comics.

Meg is up first. She isn't seeing too many differnces...she's never ziplined before, and she keeps clumsily falling all over the place. She decides to put them in order first and then decide what the differences are. She gets very distracted by how funny the psters are. Ooh, they reveal her mistakes and she has like 5. She gets it down to one mistake and it's Clay.

Becky has a weird strategy. She decides to work on all the guys' pictures first and figure out the differences, and then work on the girls. The problem is that she swears that some of the posters don't have any differences. She seems to be moving quickly, and has just one mistake,

Shelli's strategy is to memorize 4 at a time. She thinks since she has good attention to detail that she should have no problem with this. They reveal her errors and she had like 8 or more. She realized that she was so worried about the order that she wasn't paying attention to the differences.

Austin's strategy is to use his athleticism to move quickly. He seems very out of breath for someone who works out all the time and wrestles for a living. He is quickly distracted by Liz's poster and starts daydreaming about a vineyard.

Steve's strategy is to get the order right first, then he will look at the differences and get the right poster. That seems to be the most logical way to approach this comp. I would expect nothing less fro the self-called superfan. He gets stuck on Becky's posters. He can't see the difference. It was obvous, right in front of his face, it was the thing on her chest. He was upset that Becky continues to mess up his game!

Vanessa's strategy is the same as Steve's. Again, another smart person with a smart strategy. I have a feeling this is going to come down to seconds between her and Steve.

The Results
Meg - 15:30
Becky - 17:02
Shelli - 25:31
Austin - 21:20
Steve - 13:57
Vanessa - 21:44

Steve wins Veto! He actually won something! OK, so there's quite a few surprises on this one. Meg looked like she was not moving that quickly and she ended up with the 2nd best time. Shelli had a really horrible time which was surprising. I also thought Vanessa would have been a lot closer to Steve's time.

Paranoid Vanessa
Vanessa calls out James for lying. She said she can see right through him. She asked if Becky was sticking to the plan because she hasn't come right out and told her that. James tried to say that he didn't know and that Becky hadn't talked to him about the plan. She saw right through it and suspected that she was the target. James told her to just talk to Becky because he wanted out of there as fast as he could go. He told Meg that he was under heavy fire and that Vanessa was throwing grenades at him. He said he didn't know what to do because she just kept coming at him.

Vanessa goes to talk to Becky. She said she was in Becky's place and did a lot of dirty work to keep her safe the week she was up. Becky thinks she doesn't owe Vanessa anything. Becky told Vanessa she wasn't putting her up and that she has been telling her that but she still is paranoid.

Vanessa then went to Jackie, Meg, Austin, and James. She said she suspects that Becky might not stick with the plan. She asked if they all wanted to make a deal. Meg said she thought they already did that. She is definitely poking around to see if anyone will budge. Jackie said something like "you never know" and Vanessa picked up on that and was like "exactly". I'm telling you, she disects everything everyone says...and she is spot on every time.

Veto Meeting
Steve opts to use the Veto on himself, as expected.

Becky stays true to her plan...but was there any doubt that she would waiver? Not based on the last couple of conversations that we saw her have.

So, Vanessa is put up as the replacement nominee, and I think it's about to hit the fan.

In Becky's speech, she said that she doesn't know who Vanessa is with in the game and who she's against. She said that she is so influential in the house and she can spin amazing deals with people and make HOH deals. She said she's seen her, when people need her the most, drop them like that, if it doesn't benefit her game (but wouldn't anyone do that?). Those are the reasons she thins she deserves to be sitting in that spot.

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.4

Where We Left Off
Clare and Mikey had a big fight. Mikey thinks Clare is horrible and was so vague when she said she wanted to keep things open. He took that as her wanting to take things slow, not going on a date with someone else. I don't know what his definition of "open" is, but it is obviously not the same as any other human. He is so mad at Clare that he shaved his facial hair, that he nicknamed Clare. Also, he has a ridiculously hideous tiny ponytail on the top of his head. He looks absolutely ridiculous.

Juelia continues to feel good about her date with Joe. Joe continues to hope that Sam shows up. Mikey realizes that he could be going home, so he is looking for other possibilities. He thinks that he might be a good fit for Juelia. She wanted to go for a walk and he thought she was trying to get away and he said he just wanted to kiss her. She pulled away big time...as he moves way too fast, yet again. Rejection #2 for Mikey.

Ashley I. can't imagine losing the only guy she likes to a cougar like Clare. She thinks she will use her sexuality on Jared because that's all she has.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.21

HOH Competition...continued
James is hoping either Meg, Jackie, or Becky win and he of course, doesn't want Shelli to win since he just sent her man home. We all know that "hell hath no furry like a woman scorned". Yes, you read that right, he said "furry" not "fury". LOL! Well, I think we can safely say that we can count Meg out of this one. Everyone is laughing at Meg and how slow she is. They say she is like an old grandma in the carpool lane that you just can't get get around.

I'm gonna be sick...Austin sees Liz fall and he says that he hopes she's falling just as hard for him. Gag!

Johnny is trying to keep pace with Jackie, Julia, Shelli, and Becky...just in case one of them gets hit by lightning or something. Oh, Johnny,

Becky's jar is now getting very full and it doesn't look like anyone else is going to be able to catch her. She has the HOH, but she wants to try for the other 2 prizes. She gets the ball for the Never Not, then she gets the $5,000, and finally she gets the HOH.

This is not good for Steve. He thinks she will target him because she is intimidated by him. But, well, let's face it...if she knows how much he despises her, she might just target him.

Johnny Mac: Floater to Target

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.3

Oh...my...goodness...that new opening with the song "Almost Paradise" from Footloose! And those uber cheesy credits...wow...just wow. Way too many things to comment on there.

After the Rose Ceremony
Lauren wants to go home, she hates everyone and everything. I guess she was hoping Joshua from Kaitlyn's season would show up. Gee...won't that be a big twist when he eventually does show up...what are the odds?

Ashley told Lauren to stop embarrassing her. Lauren said she is in hell, not paradise and she wants to leave. This is really ridiculous.

Here's Where Things Stand...
Jade and Tanner are solid. Carly and Kirk are joined at the hip. JJ and Tenley have something brewing, and he can't figure out why the heck she likes him. Dan and Ashley S. totally get each other, so I guess they deserve each other. Mikey is still really, really into Clare...but she does not reciprocate...at all.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.20

My Thoughts Heading into this Live Eviction
So, according to the live feeds (which I don't watch, but I follow sites that do), it seems that this week's decision has been, and continues to be a difficult one. At times the house is split, then they lean toward Shelli, and then to Clay, and back to Shelli. It seems that either Steve alone could have the deciding vote, or him, Becky, and Johnny Mac could sway it handily in one direction or the other.

Clay has apparently sacrificed himself hoping that Shelli stays. I'm guessing that he is doing it because (1) he is blinded by love and not thinking clearly, and (2) he realizes that of the 2 of them, Shelli is a better player strategically, socially, and at times...even physically. I for one, would like to see Clay stay, not only because he's cute, but I would like to see what he can do without being chained at the hip to someone (although that drunken display by Meg could mean that he would just substitute Shelli with Meg...who knows). I had such high hopes for him at the beginning of the season, but it didn't take him long to become way too close to Shelli, way too fast (like from the second they each introduced themselves to the house...it was all over for both of them).

I think if the house was smart, they would easily vote out Shelli because she has been a beast in competitions and she is the brains behind the Clelli duo. They would be dumb to keep her.

Clay vs. Shelli

Big Brother, Ep. 17.19

Nominations Aftermath
James is here to play! He made a big move, let's see how this plays out! If either Shelli or Clay go home this week, the other is going to be absolutely  devastated.

Clay immediately lashed out at James and Shelli had to pull him away. She said that would make them target him. She thinks she is the bigger target this week. She also feels terrible because she knows she could have held onto the wall longer and shouldn't have given up because she just threw it away to James. Shelli can't figure out why they are the targets and why not Liz, Austin, or Vanessa.

Vanessa is making this all about her because she tried to hug Shelli and Shelli acted like she was mad at Vanessa. She then got into a fight with both of them because Clay said it was HER decision last week that got them where they are. James said that is why they are on the block, because they aren't taking any responsibility for their actions. Shelli apologized for blowing up at Vanessa because it was all just emotions. Shelli broke down crying saying she needs Vanessa, and then she bawls about "why this week, of all weeks?" She said she knew they would eventually probably be on the block with each other, but why this week? She thinks this is the worst week. I'm not really sure why? Is it just because she could have won HOH? I don't see any other significance of this week versus any other week. She said she wished they could have made it one more week. Oh, is next week the first member of the jury? I bet that's it. Yikes...didn't think about that! If one of them goes, they won't get to be together at the jury house. (Austin sees this and realizes...YES! I get to be on jury with Liz! lol)

Clay apologized to James for blowing up at him. He said they were going to have his back and hadn't betrayed him. James doesn't believe it because he was on the block both weeks that Shelli was in power, so she had to have had something to do with it. James knew that they are a pair and in any alliance they come first to each other and everyone else loses, so they had to be split up.

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 2.2

Date Card: Clare
Clare gets the scoop of who is paired up with whom. The girls tell her that she should meet Dan, he's like Hugh Jackman, they say. I don't see it. It's just about that time when Dan comes back from the ER with Ashley S. She seems perfectly fine, and heads to the food table for some fries. Clare is kind of bummed that Dan is now close with Ashley. Ashley said she had a great first date and that Dan got an IV with her. So, with Dan out of the picture, Kirk practically married to Carly already, Tanner and Jade being cozy, Jared and Ashley I - who went on a date; she thinks they're together, he could probably care less...pretty much leaves Clare to choose between Mikey and JJ. Cue the wah, wah and thumbs down. She decides to talk out loud to a crab. She starts winking at it and wishing that she could communicate to it what she is really saying. We're creeping very close to Ashley S. crazy town right now. Be careful Clare...slippery slope.

So, Mikey approached her to talk, but sadly she isn't normally attracted to beefy guys like him. He stumbled over his words and said it would be awesome to go on a date with her. She was speechless. She finally said that she would love go on a date with him. He then admitted that he has had a crush on her for the longest time.

Their date is in a beautiful place, but the actual date is some couple's tantric yoga. And let's just say they are going to be getting VERY close. She said she hopes they don't have to touch "privies" on their first date. It reminds me a lot of Sean's weird date with Carly (I think). Mikey being a big perve, said he felt everything and everything feels good on Clare.

After their session, they went for a swim. Mikey said he found her very attractive. She responded by telling him that she wanted to be honest that she appreciated him saying those things but she also wants to stay very open. She hasn't even talked to any of the other guys yet. He said he wanted to kiss her and she basically pushed him away. He came away thinking that they are on the same page and that it's great that she wants to get to know him more.

Date Card: Ashley S.

The Cast Shows Up

Big Brother, Ep. 17.18

HOH Competition Continued
Everyone seems to be doing pretty well. They are getting rained on, birds are flying at them....and now there's bird poop!

Before the comp started, Liz told Austin she would give him a kiss if he won. Yeah, so he's pretty determined to win...but...I'm sure she's betting that he won't win and she has nothing to worry about. She's in luck because he's huge, so he pretty much has no chance to win this one...he will most likely be the first one down. He keeps leaning way far forward and staring creepily down at Liz.

James keeps asking if anyone wants to make any deals. When he gets no answer, he says "OK, I'll just go back to my wall then."

Steve goes and next goes Austin (big surprise). Julia is down followed closely by Meg. After 1 hour, Jackie falls and James feels like all the pressure is on him to win. Liz goes next.

James decides to squat down acting like his back and legs are starting to hurt. He is playing mind games with Clay hoping that it will make Clay start to doubt himself. Shelli keeps telling Clay to stop moving around so much and she begged him not to fall, but he can't hold on any longer.

Becky falls, and the final 3 are: Shelli, James, and John.

All of the pressure is now on Shelli's shoulders for the Sixth Sense. Vanessa said anyone but James looked like a safe bet for them. James doesn't trust either John or Shelli at this point.

James is hoping to seek some revenge this week and he's sure that if he would fall that he would be the next target and he's not going to give them that satisfaction.

Shelli isn't sure that winning HOH for a 3rd time is really in her best interest. She asked for James's and John's words that she and Clay, and even Johnny Mac (who isn't even technically in her alliance) would be safe this week...no nominations and no backdoors. Of course he says what she wants to hear. He said she and Clay are safe and yells down to Johnny Mac that he is safe and doesn't have anything to worry about. Johnny Mac was like "OK?". He didn't even ask for offer anything up to James, so he was like, I'll take it. He falls off the wall in a rather silly fashion (we should expect nothing less from him). Shelli takes James's word and she also falls down, giving James the HOH win. She feels OK with her deal with James and thinks he will keep his word since he made the deal in front of the whole house. She thinks it would be bad for his game to back on his word. In the DR, James said he will "bounce checks" and doesn't seem to think much of making promises.

Twin Catch-Up
