Big Brother, Ep. 16.14

Cody is a Mess
Cody really let putting Donny on the block get to him. He really didn't want to do it, but he felt he had to go with what his alliance wanted, even if it's not what he wanted to do. He's going to have to man-up if he wants to make it far in this game.

Cody tries to reassure Donny that he isn't going home. Derrick reassures him that he isn't going home. Donny knows better, and he knows it's not a sure thing. He knows pawns go home. Donny tried to fish information out of Cody about the "big alliance" that might be telling him what to do...but Cody wasn't giving up any info.

Poor Frankie
This week, Frankie was given some very sad news from home. His grandfather passed away. He was devastated. Zach was devastated for his friend. It was really nice to see the whole house support him and comfort him during this hard time. The letter from his family told him to not even think of coming home. His family wanted him to continue living out his dream. They were still all supportive of him. The letter also said that even though his grandfather watched the show and the live feeds just for him...even though he had no idea what was going on. His grandfather's name was Frank, and he was 90. He lost his battle with cancer.

The Have-Nots
The 4 laziest players, determined by the trackers they are wearing, will be the Have-Nots this week.

Nicole
Caleb
Christine
Derrick

The only way out of being a Have-Not is to win HOH.

The Votes
Brittany gave a very nice speech, and it was very heartfelt and considerate of Donny. She thanked him for always standing by her. Donny thanked just about everyone, including the other houseguests, who will always have a special place in his heart.

Jacosta -- Brittany
Nicole -- Brittany
Hayden -- Brittany
Amber -- Brittany
Derrick -- Brittany
Caleb -- Brittany
Christine -- Brittany
Victoria -- Brittany
Zach -- Brittany
Frankie -- Brittany

Wow, 2 unanimous votes in a row. I'm sure glad no one voted for Donny! Brittany actually looked a little surprised. Not sure if that's because she was evicted or the fact that she got all 10 votes.

HOH Competition
Head-to-head picking the competition (Battle of the Block, Veto or POV) based on a country song.

Hayden vs. Christine -- Christine
Donny vs. Jacosta -- Donny
Frankie vs. Caleb -- Frankie
Amber vs. Victoria -- Amber
Donny vs. Derrick -- Derrick
Zach vs. Nicole -- Zach
Amber vs. Christine -- Christine
Frankie vs. Derrick -- Frankie -- 1st HOH
Christine vs. Zach -- Zach -- 2nd HOH

Before Derrick and Frankie faced off, Derrick asked Frankie if he wanted to see pics of his grandfather, and he then threw the comp to Frankie, not even trying to answer. Not only was that nice of him, he knows he doesn't need to win, because only his alliance members were left to compete. Another smart move by Derrick.

How much fun are Frankie and Zach going to have as co-HOHs?! They are going to have a blast. It's gonna be another good week for the Detonators.

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 11.9

 Top 16

Valerie & Ricky - Bollywood
Always love me some Bollywood! And this did not disappoint. As always there were some really tricky parts of the choreography. It was fast and crazy. Loved it! And Ricky's split at the end? Ridiculous!

Bridget & Emilio - Contemporary
Yes, Travis Wall! An empty bed frame...interesting prop. They did a great job with the lifts. There was so much stopping and holding poses. That had to be really difficult. That takes such strength and control. Some of it looked like they were in slow motion. What a tough piece, and they nailed the emotion. Very nice!

Tanesha & Rudy - Hip-Hop
Tanesha's outfit=ridiculous! Lots of leather (or make that a little bit of leather). I think they both showed a lot of swagger, and they were really smooth, flowing and in sync. I didn't love the song or the choreography, but they did a good job considering the normal styles they are coming from.

Jessica & Marcquet - Foxtrot

Big Brother, Ep. 16.13

More Creepy Caleb
So, instead of going #BeastModeCowboy, today we see Caleb going #StealthModeCowboy. He sneaks around and sneaks up to the HOH room, hoping to spy on people. Low and behold, he walks into the room with a bunch of people sharing the HOH bed, and then in the corner is Amber and Cody pretty much all over each other. Caleb's eyes just about popped out of his head. He sat down and just stared at them. Everyone else felt really awkward. Then Caleb picks up a fake sword and continues to stare at them. So, question: why is there a sword in the HOH room...or the BB house for that matter? After a lot of staring, he gets up and just walks out. So awkward and creepy. I am worried for Amber after this is all over.

Veto Player Draw
Cody draws Zach
Victoria draws Nicole
Brittany draws Houseguest Choice and she chooses Caleb

Brittany whispered to Caleb that the only reason she picked him is because he looked yummy in that shirt. To everyone else, they saw it as very sketchy. She talked with Caleb the night before and he told her that he didn't want her to go. So, she thinks he's an ally for her.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 10.10 (Men Tell All)

It's "The Men Tell All", but first we get a visit from Ashley and JP. As we all know, Ashley is pregnant. The baby is due October 7.

And in a Bachelor/Bachelorette first...we're going to do a live ultra sound to find out the sex of their baby! As if we don't see into these people's lives enough already, now we see everything up on the big screen. As a joke, Chris Harrison's face popped up. Oh the suspense, and the suspenseful music...and the result: IT'S A BOY!

Then we get a very extended preview of Bachelor in Paradise. In short...it's going to be pure craziness and a TON of drama! Blood and handcuffs...I can't wait. The show will premiere on August 4.

The Guys
Everybody showed up! And as a gag that ran for the entire season...they ALL had a scarf on! Hilarious! Chris Harrison was also wearing one, and he said it was easily the "scarviest season". No kidding!

Another great gag...Marquel is wearing a chocolate chip cookie pin! You go Marquel...always good for a laugh.

Rising Star, Ep. 1.5

The Duel round continues.

They flip a coin to see who goes first. The public is voting live, and the singer with the most votes wins. The west coast can still vote someone through just like in the auditions.

Gabrielle vs. Macy

Gabrielle
She started out on like Volume 12 and just kept going up from there. I thought she was way over the top. Vocally it was decent, but I think her attitude is out of control and she thinks she's better than she really is. I think the attitude that she showed after her original audition turned people off because they did not vote for her. The judges' scores put her much higher than the public vote.
-She got yeses from all 3 judges
-Score was 49%

Macy
I really like Macy. I like that she tackled this big and difficult song, and played the piano. She shouldn't have to do much to score higher than 49%. I think she killed it! It's climbing and it's climbing, and there goes the wall!
-She got yeses from Ludacris and Kesha, but Brad said no (is he crazy?)
-Score was 80%

Winner: Macy

Sonnet vs. April

Sonnet

She started out really strong. I like her different interpretation of the song, but I didn't care for some of the high note choices. I don't think she nailed all of the high notes she attempted. Parts of it were really good, parts of it were just OK. I'm kind of on the fence. The high notes just didn't do it for me. I'm shocked her % was as high as it was.
-She got yeses from all 3 judges
-Score was 73%

April
Her voice is so unique, and this is an interesting song choice...but one that actually suits her pretty well. I wish she was playing the guitar like in her audition. Some of her low notes aren't quite there. I think she did a good job, but I think she could have brought a little more fun energy at the beginning. It took her too long to get into it. That was a very close battle, and she got it just right at the end.
-She got yeses from all 3 judges
-Score was 76%

Winner: April

Austin vs. Adam

Austin
I love this song, and it's perfect for him. He did an awesome job on this song. It's actually a hard song to sing, and not many people who try to do it, actually do it well. He did. He nailed every part of it. I loved his riffs...they were spot on.
-He got yeses from all 3 judges
-Score was 81%

Adam
He had some pitch problems as the song began. This was just OK for me. I wasn't really blown away. I think a different song might have been better for him. He didn't really bring it the way that Austin did.
-He got yeses from Brad and Kesha, but a no from Ludacris
-Score was 53%!

Winner: Austin

Big Brother, Ep. 16.12

HOH Competition
We join this week's HOH competition in progress.

Zach and Amber are so cute and funny working together. Cody and Frankie try to play catch-up, so they put 2 eggs into play at the same time. That's risky! I hope it pays off.

Derrick was coaching Frankie and Cody and telling them to put their hands one over the other and not side by side. Donny didn't appreciate his TeamAmerica buddy helping Frankie but not him.

Victoria and Brittany are dropping eggs left and right. You would think they would be good at this because they have smaller fingers...apparently not.

It's close with Zach and Amber, and Frankie and Cody with 11. I like both of these teams, so I don't really care who wins! And it's Frankie and Cody!!

The New Bomb Squad
And then there were 5. Devin is gone. Caleb and Amber are too much drama. So, Cody, Zach, Frankie, Derrick and Christine decide to stick together because they like working together and 5 people are so much easier to work with than 8.

Now it's time for the new name. They tossed around a couple of very stupid ideas, and they finally settled on...drum roll please...The Detonators. Umm...OK, I'm not digging that one...maybe it will grown on me. I actually thought Bomb Squad was pretty good.

TeamAmerica Challenge #2
America was stupid this week, and they now have to try to get someone who is a physical threat, put on the block. I really wish they would have picked to target floaters.

Frankie could be in trouble because he is aligned with a lot of physical players. He and Derrick are thinking of going after Amber, the biggest physical threat of the girls.

Frankie talks to Caleb to see where he stands with her this week. He's says he's "over that"...mainly because Cody and Amber were talking and shut the door, with him on the other side. He said if they were all in the same alliance, why are they closing the door.

Frankie then needs to talk to Amber to try to play if off like she will be the pawn, so if she were to come off the block, she wouldn't be mad at him.

No One Likes Victoria
Apparently one of the reasons why we aren't seeing much of Victoria is because no one wants to sleep with her. There was a fight over who was going to sleep with who, and none of the girls wanted to sleep with her because she is high maintenance and keeps them awake.

Nominations
Cody nominates: Victoria and Brittany
Frankie nominates: Jocasta and Amber

I could not be happier with these nominations! Get these floaters out of there!

Brittany is pissed! She can't stand being paired with, and compared to Victoria. Cody's reason for nominating them was because of what's happened in the last few days and that he doesn't really know where each of them stands.

Amber is mad that she has to be the pawn every week, and is tired of the guys stepping up. She wants to work with Nicole and Christine to try to get the guys out of the house. Good luck with that since none of you are HOHs this week.

Battle of the Block: Knight Moves
It's a big game of chess! Move like a knight (an "L" shape. They remove the block they land on, and that block is out of play. When you're out of moves, you're out.

Brittany has to coach Victoria step by step...she just doesn't get it.

Jocasta is the first one out! Big surprise! Brittany is the next one out. It's down to Victoria and Amber.

Amber wins, which means she and Jocasta are safe for the week, and Frankie is dethroned. His punishment is hat he is tarred and feathered.

Side note...what in the HECK was wrong with Jocasta on the sidelines??!!?? She started crying frantically and speaking in tongues or gibberish or something! She was freaking out because it was up to Amber to save them...which she did...and then Jocasta started her gibberish again, even after they won! I do not get that woman, and I really wish she was still on the block.

BBUK 15: Week 6 Recap

Week 6 in the BBUK house...

60 Second Challenges
Winston has to eat as many hot chili peppers as he can. Mark has to attach as many clips to his face as he can, and Helen has to fish out falls out of gunge with her mouth. Big Brother then informs them that that is not the real task. They have now set personal bests. In order to pass the task is to beat their personal bests! Oh man, that's rough!

Winston needs to eat more than 4 peppers. He stuffs his face full and starts to gag a little, but he got 5 down.
Mark needs to get more than 13 clips on his face. He did it, painfully, but he did it.
Helen needs to get more than 7 balls. She also passed.

The whole house gets a hamper of sweet treats.

Armageddon
Apparently, everything we know about the BBUK house is about to change. A surprise eviction, and 3 new housemates!

Big Brother, Ep. 16.11

Tonight, I'm sure we're in for some craziness. The goal of the week...by everyone..has been to get Devin out. Now that it's down to the final hours, I just KNOW they are going to start double guessing themselves and will probably decide to get the bigger threat...Caleb, out. And...the Caleb eviction talks are already starting less than 10 minutes in...

Caleb is still creeping around and walking in on Cody and Amber...all the time. This is not helping Caleb's game at all. He is so blinded, he has no idea the detriment this is having. He's not even going to see this coming.

And, wouldn't you know...now all of a sudden, Devin is looking completely sane now! The HOH power totally went to his head and he played a HORRIBLE game. Now, he's come to his senses, and now they kind of want him to stay. They think they can now work with Devin, and if they get Caleb out this week, they can deal with Devin next week.

WHAT DID I TELL YOU?! Saw this scenario coming from a mile away.

Final Speeches
Caleb says they are the biggest beasts and competitors in the game. He said he has not backstabbed anyone. He said they all know what Devin's done. He's a great guy, but did things no one agreed with. Of course he had to throw in his famous catch phrase of "beast mode cowboy" in there.

Devin says he would do things differently if he could have. He said Caleb made a final 2 pact with Amber. Do you want someone like that in the game, who has already proven he'd go on the block and throw competitions for her? He said he's proven himself physical and mental, and he will go to the final with anyone, and not eat all their food.

The Votes
Jocasta -- Devin (someone please tell Jocasta it is really tacky and annoying to do shout-outs before or after you cast your vote...just stop!)
Donny -- Devin
Nicole -- Devin
Hayden -- Devin
Zach -- Devin
Cody -- Devin
Victoria -- Devin
Frankie -- Devin
Amber -- Devin
Christine -- Devin
Brittany -- Devin

Eviction
11-0 Devin is evicted!! Wow, I'm actually kind of shocked. These players are all talk and no game. While, I'm kind of happy to see the crazy Devin gone, I might actually miss the more normal Devin, that he showed in his last hours. Caleb was/is the bigger threat...they might regret that. And it was completely unanimous for the first time. So, the leader of the Bomb Squad is the first member to go.

HOH Competition
They will compete in pairs of 2, with the winning pair becoming the 2 HOHs. They all drew random numbers earlier, and were randomly paired together. This should be really interesting.

The Teams:
Victoria & Christine
Caleb & Nicole
Brittany & Jocasta
Amber & Zach
Donny & Hayden
Cody & Frankie

Early predictions: Brittany and Jocasta will be last. Donny & Hayden and Cody & Frankie have the best chance of winning. I would love to see Donny & Hayden win!

The challenge is the egg through the chicken wire task, that's been done at least twice on the US version and BBCanada also did it. Come on Big Brother...be more creative! Whoever has the smallest fingers will win...oh no...that would be Brittany & Jocasta. Grrr! I hope they're slow! Although...I bet Frankie has tiny fingers too. We are left hanging...so we won't know who wins until Sunday.

TeamAmerica
Apparently America is stupid. When given the choice to have Team America target a floater or someone they think is a physical threat, America voted for the physical threat. Are you kidding me?! Floaters need to go!

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 11.8

Top 18

Jacque & Zack - Hip-Hop
I love this song (Sam Smith's "Stay With Me"). I love the beginning part with them laying on the floor. I love hip-hops like this that are sweet, and have a nice flow to them. The choreography was very well done to match the song. I really liked it!

Jourdan & Marcquet - Contemporary
Marcquet is still one of my favorites. I just love everything he does. Jourdan is so flexible! Her legs are ridiculous! The choreography was a bit weird and all over the place. I didn't feel like it really told a story...I didn't really get it. It was still danced really well though.

Jessica & Stanley - Jazz
This seems more like a Bollywood or African Jazz number than a Jazz number. I think they conveyed the illusion of flying on the magic carpet really well. This was such an interesting piece. I didn't care for the music. I'm still not sure how I feel about the piece as a whole.

Bridget & Emilio - Jive
Hello Pasha! Always good to see him on the show again! This is a great song for the Jive. They played their characters really well. They could have had a little more bounce and a little more sharpness in their kicks and flicks. Overall, it was a very fun routine, and they handled the dance moves and choreography really well.

Emily & Teddy - Contemporary
I did not like this music at all? What language was that? It sounded like gibberish. The music was so distracting it was hard to focus on the dancing. I liked their lifts, but honestly, there didn't really seem to be much else to the dance...it was kind of boring.

Brooklyn & Casey - Jazz
This was a very cute dance. There were a lot of really technical parts, and they really nailed them.

Valerie & Ricky - Viennese Waltz
Lacey Schwimmer! I almost didn't recognize her with her hair so blonde! They both danced so gracefully, and floated across the floor like they should for this dance. I think they did a great job. I really liked it!

Carly & Serge - Hip-Hop
Cool costumes! They look like the bad dojo crew on Karate Kid at the Halloween dance. They both were getting down and dirty. They were hitting hard when they needed to, but it was a little too loose at times. Maybe it was supposed to be that way, but it seemed like it could maybe be a little cleaner and more together.

Tanisha & Rudy - Broadway
They did a really good job with their props, the canes. They didn't drop them at all, and they used threm throughout the whole routine. They were in sync pretty much the whole time...canes and all. It was a fast number, and I think they did a really good job.

Bottom 6
Bottome 3 Girls: Bridget, Jourdan, Emily
Bottom 3 Guys: Stanley, Emilio, Teddy

Going Home
Jourdan & Stanley

Nigel said they decided to go with the 2 people who had the least votes from America in last weeks votes.

Big Brother, Ep. 16.10

Nicole Returns!
Last episode, Nicole magically disappeared in a puff of smoke! She showed up back in the house in a green frog costume. She has to wear it for a whole week! Not fun for her, I'm sure, but it could be worse. Nicole might have been dressed in green, but Jocasta was turning green...as in she was ready to puke at the end of the challenge. Caleb walked/ran her to the bathroom very quickly. She really did look horrible.

Caleb Pressures Amber
Caleb will not let Amber alone! She did not ask him to throw the competition for her, but now he's acting like she owes him something. He said "I don't think you know how big of a deal this was." He said the least she could do would be to be his date to the finale. She didn't really want to agree to that. He said if she didn't go with him, he was going to be mad. Come on dude...you can't force someone to like you!

Later, Cody is giving Amber a back rub. Apparently, they are really close friends in the house. She said all they have is a friendship and nothing more. Caleb was laying in bed in the other room...staring at them. You could tell he was fuming! She is not his property. She has every right to talk to and spend time with whoever she wants. He's ticked that someone would put their hands on "my queen".

The "Bomb Squad" (or what's left of it) sees just how incredibly nutso Caleb is and they said they will pull him off the block this week, but next week, they may have to target him before he targets them. He's already ticked at Cody, so that makes him an instant target. But, if Caleb doesn't cool his jets in the next couple days, they might decide to pull the trigger this week. Wouldn't that come back to bite him. He VOLUNTEERS to go on the block, and then THROWS the Battle of the Block, in order to save Amber, and knowing that Devin is the target...and then go home at the end of the week...that would be something.

TeamAmerica
Their task is to spread a rumor about a houseguest being related to a former BB houseguest. They came up with Zach being Amanda Zuckerman (BB15)'s cousin. They are saying that when Paola left, she said that Zach told her that he was Amanda's cousin. They need to get 3 people (other than TeamAmerica players).

Donny is the first to spread the rumor, and he tells Nicole first. The rumor Nicole then tells Christine (of course). So, that's one person.

Derrick tells Caleb, because he knows he will tell Amber. Derrick told him to ask Amber if Paola said anything to her. It worked.

Finally, they tell Zach. Zach immediately goes downstairs and fools everyone by saying that he actually is her cousin. If we didn't know it, we'd think he was a member of TeamAmerica, because he said he's not going to deny it...he's going to make everyone believe it. Ha!

Victoria says she knew it all along. Yeah right.

Pre-Veto Competition
Jacosta is sicker than a dog, so she's not even going to compete...not like she would win any way.

Derrick draws Christine
Caleb draws Devin (of course his name would be drawn, right?)
Derrick (on behalf of Jacosta) draws Donny

Derrick pulls Donny aside to find out what he would do if he wins the Veto. Derrick says that Devin is the target...Donny said that's the first time he's heard of it. He said it's the 3rd week that he's been out of the loop. Donny said he can "go take a hike" (not to his face though). But, he was pretty upset, and Derrick still can't tell if Donny is in an alliance with Donny. Donny doesn't want to show his cards just yet, so he doesn't really say what he would do.

Veto Competition
It's a Vegas game. Task: roll inside a huge die, and they have to land on the number they were assigned and get back in the fastest time. What an interesting challenge!

Christine chooses to face off against Devin. They are going for #4. Devin wins. Yuck! House-0 Devin-1

Derrick chooses to face off against Devin (no surprise). They are going for #2. And Devin wins again. Come on guys! House-0 Devin-2

Donny chooses to face off against Devin. Go Donny! They are going for #6. Donny said he had figured out how to get the 3, 4 and 5. So, naturally, he doesn't get one of them. "Daggone it!" If Donny beats Devin, that would be the best, and funniest thing ever! DONNY WINS!!! Yay Donny! Our hero! The entire house shrieks with excitement! It's like they all won the jackpot in Vegas...they are so happy! Must really suck to be Devin, all alone. I think they were just as happy that Donny, the underdog beat the big Goliath, that they were that Devin was the loser.

Last match-up: Derrick vs. Donny. Donny wins! Donny gives his win a hashtag: #OldManBeatDown. His one-liners are priceless!

He runs inside to tell Jacosta the good news...she won't be going home. Well, I guess he's saving Jacosta then. She cried like someone just died. I get it that you're happy, but geez get a hold of yourself woman. I've never heard someone scream-cry so loudly. Embarrassing. And it was pointed out on Twitter, that what would she do if she was actually the target this week? She is so overreacting for being saved, on a week that she isn't the target. That's even worse!

Veto Ceremony
Donny doesn't even give the nominees a chance to say anything. He saves Jocasta and says all he wants is for her to get better. And she starts to scream-cry...again! Donny take that Veto back...this woman is not cut out for this game! And then she cries and bawls in the Diary Room, oh my gosh! This is the most air time she's had in any episode, and she's done nothing but puke, lay in bed and scream-cry. What an edit for her.

So, in no surprise to anyone, Derrick tells Devin to take a seat as the replacement nominee.

I'm REALLY worried that Devin is not going to go home this week with Caleb sitting next to him. Caleb is ruffling feathers and creeping people out. Something bad could still happen, and they might see Caleb as the bigger threat, and change their minds last minute. Let's hope that doesn't happen! It wouldn't be the first time that a "pawn"...especially a self-volunteering pawn, goes home. Heck, it happened last week! Brittany was the target, Paola was the pawn. Devin changed his mind and saved the "target", and Paola went home.

Bachelor In Paradise Cast Announced

Original Post Date: 6/4/14

Have you had enough of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette contestants? Me either! Well, guess what. There's a new series coming this summer. In place of Bachelor Pad, where former Bachelors and Bachelorettes competed against each other to be the last couple standing to win some money--instead, we now have Bachelor In Paradise, which is going to be different. There's supposedly no competitions and no eliminations, everyone's there just to find love. Other than that, no one really knows what's going to happen in this series. Even today, when the cast was announced, very little was said about what was actually going to happen in this series. What we do know, is that the "paradise" is in Mexico.

Here's part of the cast list and their original seasons. Don't feel bad if you don't recognize some of these people...not all of them made a lasting impression on their original season. When more people are confirmed, check back here for updates.

Update 7/14/14: The cast list has been confirmed, and updated below. Also confirmed is the premise of the show. Remember the show Paradise Hotel? Well, this is going to be almost EXACTLY like that! I for one, am very excited, because I loved that show!

Here's how it works
8 girls and 6 guys will start out the show. The numbers are intentionally uneven because the guys will each pick a girl to pair up with. The 2 girls not picked are sent home. The next episode, 2 new men will arrive. The girls can then choose to stick with their partner or choose someone else. The 2 guys without a partner will be sent home. And so on, and so forth...you get the gist. Pretty much exactly like Paradise Hotel. It seems like the biggest difference going into the show is that we already know these people (some better than others). And, most of them probably already know each other at least a little bit. They won't be complete strangers like on Paradise Hotel.

Remember: the show premieres on Monday, August 4 at 8:00 PM

The Original Girls

The Bachelorette, Ep. 10.9 (Overnights)

Andi and the guys are in the Dominican Republic for their individual overnight dates.

Nick
They take a helicopter ride to a private island.

She is hoping to talk to him about his past relationships. His family said that things have been going in a downward spiral and being very brokenhearted. She said that that is a different story than she's heard from him. She's hoping that he will open up and be honest. He said in his 20s he had a really bad breakup and he didn't want to talk to anyone for 6 months. When he was engaged before, she was the one who broke it off. I'm getting the sense that the women he's dated are maybe trying to get away from him. It seems like they are the ones doing the breaking up and then he's devastated. It doesn't take a genius to notice a pattern. He did start opening up some, but he just started rambling and mumbling. Finally, Andi said "I want to go snorkel".

At dinner, she tries to start conversations about things, and he just really has no answers. She asks for an embarrassing story, and he couldn't think of anything. She asked if he's clumsy, and he said he's quirky.

Then he said he had some time, so he wrote a story. He pulls out a book, and proceeds to read it to her. Now, you can't tell me that he actually put any of this together himself. The book has a hard cover, and it has fairly good illustrations that look professionally done. Now, the story he might have come up with himself because it was so creative: it was about a princess named Andi from the magical kingdom of Atlanta. Now, THAT had to take him forever to come up with! She's blown away..."amazing!". The rest of the story is just his "quest" to meet her. He said that in France he was put under an evil spell that made him act like a baby (the unfortunate mime date where he pouted the whole time). At the end, he left blank pages to finish their story. The last thing he wrote was that Andi had to decide if she wanted to spend the night with him in the magical fantasy suite. On that cue, Andi pulled out the fantasy suite card/key. She asked him his thoughts and he said that he's been hoping for the night where he could just talk her ear off the entire night until she was tired of him talking. That is just such a strange answer. She asked him if that was the long version of "yes", and he said yes, "I'm down" and "I'm longwinded". Yeah, we get it.

As he stands up to lead her somewhere to talk while they're not sitting down (again...weird), I notice the absolutely hideous outfit he's wearing: pink pants and like a grey shirt with light blue sleeves. What a mismatch. He's wanting to finally tell her how he feels. He said he has wanted to tell her since Belgium, that he loves what he knows about her. He lists all the things he loves about her. Still hasn't said it....and there it is...he finally said he's in love with her. He said that she is it for him, and she said she loves hearing that.

Rising Star, Ep. 1.4

The audition rounds are done, and now the finalists are going head to head in the Duel round.

They flip a coin to see who goes first. The public is voting live, and the singer with the most votes wins. The west coast can still vote someone through just like in the auditions.

Alice vs. Lisa

Alice
She did a nice job. I wasn't so sure about her song choice, but she made it work. Some parts sounded a little awkward, but overall, it was a pretty decent performance. But the longer it went, the more strained her voice sounded. She was really forcing it a little too much.
-She got yeses from all 3 judges
-Score was 69%

Lisa
She started out really strong. Right away, I knew she was so much better than Alice. Her performance was really awesome! I really enjoyed it! She really rocked it on the end of the song. Unlike Alice, she didn't sound strained, it sounded so good. I do not know what the public was thinking! If she just would have gotten one more judge to vote yes, she would have gotten it! And what makes me even madder is, I wasn't paying attention and I didn't get checked in in time to vote! Grrr!
-She only got a yes from Kesha
-Score was 66%

Winner: Alice

Megan vs. Sarah

Megan
Megan was saved by the west coast. This time she's ditching the harp for the guitar. I like how she changed up this song! I almost didn't recognize what it was! Her voice sounded amazing tonight! I enjoyed this so much more than the harp performance! This might be my favorite rendition of this song ever. I didn't really care for the high-pitched shriek in the middle, but overall, it was a really good performance.
-She got yeses from all 3 judges
-Score was 71%

Sarah
This song has been done so many times. I wish she would have done something else. She sounded pretty much like the original. So, unlike Megan...she wasn't very original herself. She sang it beautifully, but I love people who can change up a song.
-She only got a yes from Brad
-Score was 69%

Winner: Megan

Will vs. Jesse

Will
"Wrecking Ball"...very interesting, but I think I'm gonna love it. I love somebody who takes a chance with a very ironic song choice and totally makes it awesome. I wouldn't say he changed the song a lot, but he sang it really well and he really rocked it out. I liked it! Knowing he's going against Jesse, this is going to be a tough one because I really like them both.
-Kesha and Brad said yes, but Ludacris voted no
-Score was 57%

Jesse
I'm really liking Jesse's chances with only having to beat 57%. He was one of my favorites in the early round. I think his voice is absolutely amazing. That bar started rising so fast, it was ridiculous! Will is good, but this really was no competition at all! I think we are looking at the winner right here! No one can compete with that!
-He got yeses from all three judges
-Score was 90%! -- Highest score of the night, and the most deserved of all 6

Winner: Jesse!!!!!!

Big Brother, Ep. 16.9

More Spilling of the Beans
Devin said he's out of the Bomb Squad, and he tells Brittany, Jacosta and Donny EVERYTHING!!! He's hoping by being the first one to expose this alliance, they will side with him. So, basically him saying he was going on a solo mission, actually means he's just dumping his alliance and switching to the other side of the house.

Christine knows the Bomb Squad is caput, so she fills Nicole in on all the details. Nicole thought the name was ridiculous. She was a little hurt that Christine didn't tell her about it sooner, but she knows she has to stick with her.

Nomination Discussion
Devin wants Derrick to put him up from the beginning so he will have 2 chances of getting off the block. Derrick's like "yeah, right".

Derrick and Nicole discuss who to put up. Nicole tells him she doesn't really want to talk strategy with him. Their target is obviously Devin. In order to come up with who to nominate, they went down through a list of people they didn't want to put up...which didn't leave too many people left.

If Nicole puts up Amber, she can use the reason that Amber put her up. Jocasta is a possibility because she might be a vote for Devin to stay. The hope is that Derrick's nominees would win the Battle of the Block, leaving him as HOH to go after Devin. Derrick says he will put up Caleb and Jocasta, and Nicole will put up Amber. She doesn't know who should be the 4th nominee. She said "where's Paola when you need her?" lol!

Derrick tells Caleb that Nicole was going to put up Amber because he thinks he will offer to be put up because he wants to protect her by throwing the comp. He thinks his actions will speak louder than words and she will be impressed by his move to save her. Derrick was 100% right...that's exactly what Caleb said.

Caleb talks to Amber and tells her what's probably going to happen. She doesn't really want him to sacrifice himself for her. She is probably worried that he will expect something back from her.

Nicole doesn't know what to do, so she consults the all-wise Donny. He asks how close she is to Christine. She said close enough not to put her up. He said she was part of the 8 person alliance that had 2 girls. He said if that alliance isn't dealt with, it's going to cause problems. Donny said that even though they are friends, she might not be as good of a friend as she thinks she is. If she would put her up, it would definitely hide their alliance. But...I'm sure pretty much assumes they are in an alliance based on all the time they spend together.

Nominations
Nicole nominates: Amber and Donny
Derrick nominates: Jocasta and Caleb

I love Jocasta's face. Derrick makes it known that Caleb volunteered to go on the block and he was honoring his wishes.

Devin was upset that they are trying to backdoor him. He sounded all proud of making a joke "I came in the front door, and they're trying to send me out the backdoor." Crickets.

Nicole immediately regretted putting Donny up, but she was mad that he suggested putting up Christine and then was caught talking smack to some other people after she was done talking with him. She talked to Donny and said she felt horrible. She wants to now form a secret alliance with him...that is legit...from here on out.

Devin thinks if he makes amends that Derrick will throw him a bone. Yeah right! Keep dreaming buddy.

BBUK 15: Week 5 Recap

Week 5 Highlights in the BBUK House

Before They Were Housemates
Mark and Christopher are in the Diary Room. They will be shown pictures of the housemates, and they have to guess who they are. The other housemates are watching from the living room.

They correctly guessed Steven, Helen, Ash, Matthew, Mark. They got a reward of treats and photos from home.

Early Christmas
Apparently one of Christopher's nicknames in the house is Christmas. Big Brother tells him he will be bringing Christmas early to the other housemates. Big Brother is going to treat them to a Christmas feast, but only those who have not been naughty can partake. Chris's job is to figure out who's been naughty and who's been nice. He asks Ashleigh, Chris, Mark, Helen, Danielle and Marlon to come to the DR to find out who's been naughty and nice.

Father Christmas decides who will get the feast. They each get a present to open, and they either get a candycane or a lump of coal.

Ash--candycane
Mark--candycane
Marlon--lump of coal
Ashleigh--candycane
Danielle--lump of coal
Kimberly--candycane
Jale--candycane
Steven--candycane
Chris--candycane
Helen--lump of coal
Winston--candycane

Helen was not happy to be on the naughty list. Marlon actually said others deserved it more than him, so that's why he didn't get to go. Christopher said that Danielle and Helen didn't open up about their experience as much as the other ones did, and weren't as excited to visit Santa in the Grotto.

While Helen has a pity party for herself, the others are treated to a feast and some Christmas songs...which they sang along too...very horribly, I might add. But, they were having fun, and that's all that mattered. Mark's night was made when Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas" came on.

Big Brother, Ep. 16.8

The Blowout and then the Fallout
FINALLY, we get to see what happened as the Veto Ceremony concluded. This explosion was so hyped....it better not disappoint!

I hope I can cover everything...I'll try not to leave anything out...

Here we go...Brittany had one final thing to say to the group. Zach said I'll be next". Oh boy, if they're taking numbers, this could take awhile.

Brittany said she hopes this doesn't affect her game, but she wants to explain why she said what she said about someone whom she thought was her friend. She calls out Paola for lying to her face. She said she had a feeling she was going to throw the POV because of the way Paola was acting around her, and she didn't have her glasses on, and she NEVER goes without her glasses. Paola's response: "We all know how he is" (Devin). Oh snap! She said that Devin was a horrible person and she'd rather put her head on a toilet bowl and drown than live with him. Whoa! The biggest surprise (or non-surprise)--she said she did NOT throw the POV, but Devin asked her to. He said that he had conversations with Brittany and decided he realized she's here for her kids. Paola screams "YOU'RE SUCH A FREAKING LIAR!!!!" to Devin. She said his daughter is going to watch this and laugh at him. It's at this point, that Frankie covers his ears like a little kid! Donny said he was glad to have a front row seat, and he was loving every minute of it.

Devin said he told Nicole and Hayden they were safe. Nicole was loving this entertainment...except when her name comes up. She didn't want to be associated with anything that was going on. I don't blame her!

Brittany seemed like she was done. Zach: "Alright, it's my turn!" He bolted out of his chair like their was a giant spring under his butt! As he flies by Frankie, Frankie, Jacosta and Victoria are on the couch holding hands. Jacosta looks terrified, and Frankie has this scared look on his face like he's afraid he's going to be hit in the face with a pie or something.  He goes into full beast mode! It's so serious, he goes to the head of the room and just lets it ALL out!

He said Devin hit him with the first blow, and now, he's coming back with an uppercut, and he's going to go below the belt. He said he hasn't liked Devin from the beginning. Look out, here it comes!

He said he's sorry this might ruin some people's games, and he said "Frankie, don't be threatened". Zach said Paola sucks at everything. Then to Devin, he said "there isn't an ounce of truth in your body". The look on Jacosta's face and everyone else for that matter was so priceless.  He told Paola that he knows that everyone is going to vote for him, so he's not worried. The only people he was worried about not getting their votes were Frankie and Caleb. I think he's a little too positive. After his little outburst, he's made himself a liability and he's kind of a wildcard. He said that Devin's personality changes with the blow of the wind. Ain't that the truth! I've never seen somebody change their mind so often! He said he's coming after him (no surprise). He said that no one would vote for him on the jury because all he does is smile with his fake smile...and Devin was pleased to give an example of said smile. He concludes with "I'm pretty much just ranting on how much I hate Devin"...cue shocked face by Christine. He fakes crying like Devin and said what he did in the house meeting about how he wanted to play with honesty and integrity for his daughter. But he does that pretty much every single day. Zach: "What's your response to that?" Devin: "Uhhhhh...best of luck to ya bud." And with that, he RUNS up to the HOH room like a little kid. Every time they show him in the room, he's standing there with that big, fake smile on his face, just staring off into space. What is he looking at? He's acting very creepy.

Everyone is shaken up. Cody is mad that on week 2 Devin went against the alliance pact of not putting anyone from the alliance up. He said that just proves that he's not loyal. The person who seems to have taken it the hardest was Frankie. I'm still not exactly sure why. Frankie said by Zach calling him out, he was saying that he was untrustworthy and in the middle of everything. OK, did we not see everything, because I didn't get that at all from what Zach said. Frankie said that what he did ruined his game. Frankie was crying and said that no one is going to trust him now because of what he said. Zach said he thinks Frankie is making a little too much out of it, but he admits that he probably took it too far. I still don't get it! Zach said he didn't mean anything by it and he didn't mean it. Frankie said that he (Zach) has to work twice as hard to keep him (Frankie) safe this week. Wait, what?!

Devin said it's pretty clear that Zach isn't a member of the Bomb Squad any more. They only need 6 votes and Devin would go in as the tie-breaker. Devin did the math, and he counted 8 people. He wants to bring Hayden in as Zach's replacement on the Bomb Squad. What is Devin's obsession with numbers? 12 people are voting. If they need 6, they don't need another member. Just because they are "losing" a member, he doesn't waste more than 5 minutes trying to replace him. At this rate, every single person in the house is going to be a member of the Bomb Squad at some point. So, he calls Hayden to the HOH and gives the entire Bomb Squad spiel. Hayden looks like he's been through a tornado...so many details flying at him left and right, and now he's being "asked" to be a member. He felt like Devin was forcing him into being in the Bomb Squad. It was like "join or die". So, he said "yes"...to his face, but his ultimate goal is to blow up the Bomb Squad. Wow...just...wow. Devin promises to "never, never, never" put up another Bomb Squad member. Whoa, Devin! Never is such a big word...especially for someone who changes his mind ALL the time! And with so many people in your alliance, do you not think that something might happen with one of them that would make you want to get them out? Wait, who am I kidding, you're never going to have the opportunity to be HOH again, so it doesn't really matter what you promise.

Derrick warns Zach that he can't let what happened in there happen again. One time was OK, but if he goes off like that again...he would be seen as a loose cannon.

Frankie, Donny and Derrick (Team America) have a talk, and they weigh out the pros and cons of keeping Zach. They said if he stays, he's a bigger target than any of them. Frankie thinks Devin and Caleb are stronger allies than Zach. Wait, what?! Frankie, Zach is your BFF, don't drop him just yet! They know that Devin is Zach's target and it won't be any of them, but Paola's target is also Devin. Donny said "she's my best little friend." It is pretty far fetched to think he's going to vote her out, even though he said he could do that. They say that if they can convince the others that Zach won't come after them, and they could get Paola out, they wouldn't have any blood on their hands.

Derrick talks to Caleb. Caleb says if they keep Paola, they can use her. However, Derrick said that if someone else wins HOH, they will use her, because she will flop right to them. And then, they will put her up with one of them on the block, and then they're screwed.

Frankie has to break some news to Devin. He thinks that by him telling him, that he can diffuse the situation so it doesn't get out of control. So, what's the news? Zach is staying. Devin: "How so?" Frankie says that Caleb said that Zach had the numbers, so "we are now the Bomb Squad plus 1." Devin's face was priceless. His response: "I'm not in this squad no more, bro. This is a solo game for me from here on out. The only thing I can do now is win competitions." He said the house is going to have to stop a father's love for his daughter. So dramatic. He said he now knows why his favorite players always said not to get blood on your hands early. He was just too competitive and wanted to win everything. Now, he just wants to pick everyone in the house off one by one.

Pre-Eviction Speeches

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 11.7

So...I'm totally bummed. I didn't realize it until an hour into the 2-hour show, that for some reason, my DVR was not recording the show! I started it recording at 9:00, but that means I missed the whole first half. And, thanks to FOX, they don't make the show available OnDemand, and my cable provider isn't on their list...so I can't watch the episode online or on the FOX app. Thanks a lot. So, until the episode becomes available, I won't be able to watch what I missed. As a result, I'm only able to recap the dances I was able to record. I do have the list of all the new pairings. So, with that out of the way...

Last week, the Top 20 were paired up with someone else from their style of dance. No one was eliminated last week, so all 20 will be dancing again. They have now been paired randomly with another dancer.

The New Top 20 Pairs:
Brooklyn Fullmer and Casey Askew
Malene Ostergaard and Stanley Glover
Jacque LeWarne and Zack Everhart
Bridget Whitman and Emilio Dosal
Jourdan Epstein and Marcquet Hill
Valerie Rockey and Ricky Ubeda
Carly Blaney and Serge Onik
Emily James and Teddy Coffey
Jessica Richens and Nick Garcia
Tanisha Belnap and Rudy Abreu

Dance Recap of Half the Dances
Note: if/when I get to watch the other half, I will update this post with recaps of those dances as well.

UPDATE 8/17: I finally am able to watch the first half of this episode, so I'm now adding the recaps I didn't get to watch, which were the first 5 couples.

Tanisha & Rudy - Jazz
Look at Rudy's hair! Not a bad look. This piece is so intense! I love all of the strong and sharp movements. That split lip into his arms was really cool, and I loved the fallout back to the floor.

Valerie & Ricky - Contemporary
They did so much laughing and giggling in rehearsals, I didn't know if they would be able to pull it together for the performance, but they did. That backwards slow fall from her standing on his legs...was...RIDICULOUS! How is that even humanly possible?! The strength that had to take...holy crap! Ricky did an amazing job, and his extensions are so great.

Bridget & Emilio - Hip-Hop
Bridget had the moves, but she wasn't really hitting it. She was a little too soft, mostly in the arms. Emilio was great.

Jessica & Nick - West Coast Swing
So great to see Benji Schwimmer again! Jessica injured her shoulder in rehearsals, but she didn't seem to show any signs of it during the performance. The lifts in this routine were crazy...and totally Benji. I've never seem some of the stuff that they not only attempted, but executed. Very cool.

Carly & Serge - Contemporary
Beautiful dance. I loved their chemistry together. Not much else to say about it...just great.

Emily & Teddy - Hip-Hop
Their moves are really in sync. I liked their characters and their playfulness with each other. The smooth and funky style of this hip-hop suited them really well.

Malene & Stanley - Broadway
I did not care for the music at all. The phones with extremely long cords was an interesting prop. But, it allowed them to do some really cool things with their bodies. That part was pretty cool. I think they did a a really good job with it.

Jourdan & Marcquet - Jazz
I don't know what it is with me and table routines, but I ALWAYS get excited when I see that there is a table on stage. Every table routine that I've ever seen on this show, or even on Dancing With The Stars..it's always been really fun. I'm also excited that Marcquet is getting to do this one. He's one of my early favorites. Unfortunately for this routine, they didn't actually use the table all that much. I loved the split she did and then he flipped her around, that was crazy! There was a lot going on in this dance. It was almost more like a hip-hop dance than a jazz number. They did an amazing job.

Brooklyn & Casey - Argentine Tango
This is one of my favorite ballroom dances. I love the footwork in this dance. Her legs were perfect for this dance. Her leg hooks were so sharp and fast. The lifts were very well done as well.

Jacque & Zack - African Jazz
This is visually stunning and confusing! They are all painted in swirly colors from head to toe, and they are dancing in front of a wall with the same colors and designs. It reminds me a lot of Gotye's music video for "Somebody That I Used To Know". Very cool, but could give you a headache if they keep twirling like that in front of it. The choreography in this is really cool, and they are going all out. They are very together in all of the movements. Very cool!

Big Brother, Ep. 16.7

Battle of the Block Fallout
Devin actually still believes, and is sticking to the story, that Paola threw the competition. He really is delusional isn't he? She actually made the statement that she "could have dominated" that competition. Are you serious?! Great quote.

Devin gives Hayden a creepy man-hug and continues to tell him that Paola threw the competition like they said she would in order to keep him and Nicole safe.

Caleb takes the opportunity to hug Amber when she is dethroned. He said he wanted to hug her...not because she lost. Translation: he wants to hug her.

Bomb Squad Divided
Half of the Bomb Squad realizes Devin is an idiot, while the other half continue to follow him blindly. Zach's had enough, and he forces his hand. Zach's supporters (Cody and Derrick) want Brittany to stay and Paola to go. Devin, of course wants Brittany gone because of her "threatening move". Caleb will probably do whatever Devin wants, just to keep the peace.

Devin is worried about Caleb's flirtmance with Amber. She's actually doing a little reciprocating on the flirting, and Devin thinks that's dangerous to their alliance. He thinks Caleb would side with Amber over him.

OK, maybe I was wrong about Caleb. He doesn't like the way Devin talks to Amber, and he said their going to get into it pretty soon. He said Devin is his boy, but he protects his queens. He won't let him talk to Amber, Christine, or any other girls in the house.

Caleb and Frankie talk to Devin and they say that the rest of the house, and members of their alliance want Paola gone over Brittany. He blows it way out of proportion and says he only thinks that because he's been talking to Amber. Caleb said that Christine and some of the girls are afraid to talk to Devin, so now he wants to confront them. Frankie is freaking out because the Bomb Squad is about to blow up in front of everyone. Seriously, Devin...chill out!!!! Now, he's telling Caleb that there is no more alliance and he's done with it all. Caleb's like "that's fine, you're going home next week then." I cannot believe this is seriously happening. Where did they find this idiot! I've never seen a more stupid gameplayer than Devin.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 10.8 (Hometowns)

We're at that point in the season, where the final 4 visit their hometowns.

Nick - Milwaukee, WI
I'm glad Nick is up first...get him out of the way so we don't have to see him again until the Rose Ceremony.

They meet at his favorite spot: the market. Strange favorite place. Next up is a brewery...also a fine choice...not. Then there is some dancing and bubbles...also weird. And I haven't addressed this yet (and I should have), but WHAT is with Nick and all of the scarves?! I mean, seriously, dude, enough with the scarves.

Finally, it's time to meet the fam. 10 siblings...yikes! That would be so overwhelming to walk into, and being the center of attention.

I just realized I was so bored, I wasn't even paying attention to him talking to his sister. Something about being intense...he's falling in love with her, because of the connection they have. His sister asks if she makes him laugh, and he says she makes him smile. His sister thinks she's his type. Blah blah blah...let's move on.

Andi talks to his sister, who breaks down saying that he's been hurt.

His youngest sister Bella grilled Andi with a list of questions that she had written down. I loved how Andi was talking to her. It was really cute, but I don't know how much she actually understood...but it was so cute. Then she casually threw out the "are you in love with my brother", which caught Andi off-guard a little bit. She said she could definitely see a future with him. Then Bella talked to Nick, and she forgot the questions she asked Andi, and what her answers were, so she was no help. She did remember that she asked if she truly loved him, and Bella said that she said "yes" (which wasn't true). Nick paused and said "hmm", like he was confused. Then Bella said that maybe she asked if she truly liked him.

Nick told his mom that if she didn't propose, he would question if he's being true to himself. His mom told him to be prepared, and he said "I think I'm a favorite". Who says that? I don't think I've ever heard anyone actually admit to anyone that they thought they were actually a favorite or that they didn't think they were going home.

By the end of the night, Andi was able to correctly name all of the siblings. Wow, that's impressive.

He says he's pretty sure Andi knows that he loves her, but he's waiting for the right moment to tell her. Well, buddy, seeing as everyone else has, you might want to get on that before it's too late.

Chris - Arlington, IA
Population: 758. Looks a lot like Kidron, OH..just a little flatter and drier.

Rising Star, Ep. 1.3

Audition 3 Results

Tonight is, apparently, the last night of auditions. Next week will be a round called "Duels". It sounds similar to The Voice.

Remember, if they get a percentage of yeses above 70% they make it through. The tallies below are for the East Coast. If the West Coast votes 70% yeses, they can still make it through if they don't get it on the first showing on the East Coast.

My Thoughts:

Big Brother, Ep. 16.6

Devin will have a paranoia meltdown in 3, 2, 1...

Devin Comes Clean
Devin's head is getting to him. After seeing his HOH room, seeing pictures of his daughter and getting a letter from his mom, his head starting messing with him. He felt so badly for judging Donny, so he decided to go to him and confess that he thought he was lying and that he went to others in the house and told them that he thought Donny was a threat. Donny said he was glad he came and talked to him. He won't be able to trust him completely, but he doesn't hold it against him.

Next, Devin thinks he needs to come clean to the house. He calls a house meeting (bad...so bad). House meetings are never good. He said he told his family that he was going to play an honest game. He said it was weighing heavy on his heart. He said he forced Caleb to put up Donny because he didn't think he was who he said he was. He now feels horrible about it and he had to come clean that Caleb didn't want to do it. Keep in mind, Donny is the only one not included in this house meeting. So now, Devin is saying what a wonderful person he is. He said if he (Devin) doesn't win, that's fine, he's not looking for anything, he just wants to play an honest game for his daughter.

Everything seems all innocent, but then Brittany thinks back to what the nominees last week were told. They were all told that they were put up  because they fell first in the HOH competitions. Devin is now saying that he campaigned to Caleb to get Donny up. She now wonders how many of the other nominees were because of Devin and for other reasons other than the competition. Uh oh...he just opened up a huge can of worms that's not only going to affect his game, but the game of the other Bomb Squad members....again. Every decision he has made so far in this game...for himself...has ended up impacting his alliance HUGE!

Devin just can't believe how his words are being so misconstrued. Now he says he's going to go after Brittany because of her questioning them. Yes, Devin, she figured it out! It wasn't that hard. You served it up on a silver platter.

New Alliance/New Shomance
Hayden likes Nicole. Nicole kind of likes Hayden. After a little flirting, Nicole asked Christine if they should ask him about working together. Christine was a little reluctant, but he is a challenge beast. They approach him in the supply room, and it was umm...interesting. They just crack me up. I'm liking Christine more and more. She's so funny. She has now just stumbled into another alliance.

Nomination Discussion

BBUK 15: Week 4 Recap

Week 4 Highlights in the BBUK House

Impressions
Winston, Ashleigh and Chris are given the task of doing impressions of their fellow housemates. They don't know it, but the rest of the house is watching them, and they will be trying to guess who they are impersonating.

Winston does Kimberly
Ashleigh does Ash
Winston does Matthew
Chris does Danielle
Ashleigh does Helen
Winston does Toya

They guessed them all correctly. Based more on what they said than actually sounding like who they were portraying. I think Winston was the best.

Big Brother, Ep. 16.5

It's the first elimination of the season, who's it gonna be? I really, really, really, really want it to be Paola...but...all signs are pointing to Joey, and her horrible game-play.

Joey's Ship is Sinking Fast
Joey is scrambling to try to persuade people to keep her. Devin is campaigning for a unanimous vote to evict Joey. Dude, take a chill pill! Like Frankie said, it doesn't have to be unanimous as long as the person you want out goes. He is like seriously freaking out. "It has to be unanimous. It has to be unanimous." People are not digging him being so pushy.

Joey tells Zach that she will try to keep him safe. He says he's going to vote with the house, but he does want her to be safe.

She now thinks she has to do something crazy to get the votes to stay. Her idea: create a male alter ego, Alex. She runs around the house, with a bulge, and a 5:00 shadow, and yelling that she's a man and you should be afraid. It was just ridiculous. She is totally losing it. Losing it. It's so laughable. Just when you thought she couldn't be any worse of a player. This act is not going to convince anyone...it will do the opposite. I don't see how this makes the point that you should be voting the way you want to, not the way everyone else is voting.

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 11.6

Everyone gets to dance in their own dance styles for this first week of competition. That means, everyone should do very well.

Brooklyn & Serge -- ChaCha
It's so nice to see Dmitry again! The choreography is hot, like usual, from Dmitry. That last lift/flip was crazy! Very fun routine.

Emily & Casey -- Contemporary
Yay for Travis Wall! You know when he's the choreographer, you're going to get an epic routine, with killer music to go with it. And...yep...John Legend's "All of Me". I loved the yellow/orange lighting. They were beautiful together, and it was very romantic. I could have done without all the audience screams throughout the whole routine. Was it just me or did the audience seem louder than normal? It kind of drowned out the music at times...kind of ruined the moment. But, it was danced beautifully, and I loved the ending.

Valerie & Zack -- Tap
I've never really been a fan of tap. I did like the staircase--that added a little bit more to make it interesting. But I still find tap just kind of distracting.  The great song choice also helped (Ed Sheeran's "Sing").

Bridget & Stanley -- Contemporary
Love this routine! It flowed so beautifully. They were so in sync on the parts that they were separated.

Jacque & Jourdan -- Ballet
They went for a very traditional ballet. Not my cup o' tea at all. As far as ballerina's go, they were really good.

Malene & Marcquet -- Samba
Hello Louis van Amstel! This was a really fast Samba! Marcquet's legs are crazy fast! Their Samba rolls were really good. Great routine, a lot of fun to watch.

Carly & Rudy -- Contemporary
This contemporary was more powerful than the other 2 tonight. I liked it just as much as the other 2. It was very good.

Emilio & Teddy -- Hip-Hop
Love Christopher Scott! Interesting choice of prop: the mop. I liked the use of the mop. I was kind of confused by the music choice with that prop though...until they said "night shift"...then I got it. It was a little bit of an odd combination. And kind of weird for 2 guys dancing it together. I think the choreography could have been a little more difficult, but it was clever.

Jessica & Ricky -- Contemporary
Sonya! Love her choreography! I'm glad she's back again this season. The slow movements they did and hand to hold were crazy! I think this might have been the hardest routine of the night just for that alone. This was just amazing! Wow!

Tanisha & Nick -- ChaCha
Can't go wrong with Enrique Iglesias. The choreography to this fun, upbeat song was great. The flip and her splits were absolutely ridiculous! She grabbed her leg, pulled it up to her head and then did a death spiral to the floor! Nuts! So much fun!

Big Brother, Ep. 16.4

In case you missed what happened last week...

Frankie and Caleb became the first to HOHs. Frankie nominated Donny and Paola, and Caleb nominated Brittany and Victoria. Brittany and Victoria were victorious in the Battle of the Block, saving themselves and dethroning Frankie.

So, where it stands now: Caleb is the HOH and Donny and Paola are still on the block. Tonight: The Power of Veto comp. If one of the nominees wins, will Frankie get backdoored? We shall see! (I hope not.)

Donny's in Trouble
The Bomb Squad is scared of little old Donny. He's proven himself as a competitor. They all know he's way nice and fun to be around...that equals a threat. Devin is also skeptical of his job and what he does. Caleb thinks that Donny is ex-military based on how he pulled his boots on. These guys are so paranoid, so early in the game!

Paola felt so sorry for losing the competition for him. He got very emotional because everyone was consoling him and caring about him. He couldn't believe that they all liked him so much.

Devin on the other hand, thinks his crying is all fake and that he's only making a scene to get his sympathy. Then, Devin brings his suspicions right to Donny. He told him that he thought he was lying and that he was in the military. Donny said that he was telling the honest truth and he never was. Donny was hurt that he didn't trust him, and he felt like he had done something wrong to make him not trust him. In the DR, Devin broke down and cried and said he was going to feel really bad if Donny really is telling the truth.
