BBUK 15: Week 4 Recap

Week 4 Highlights in the BBUK House

Impressions
Winston, Ashleigh and Chris are given the task of doing impressions of their fellow housemates. They don't know it, but the rest of the house is watching them, and they will be trying to guess who they are impersonating.

Winston does Kimberly
Ashleigh does Ash
Winston does Matthew
Chris does Danielle
Ashleigh does Helen
Winston does Toya

They guessed them all correctly. Based more on what they said than actually sounding like who they were portraying. I think Winston was the best.

Girl Power

Big Brother gave all the girls the power this week. All of them will be safe this week, including Jale. All the guys are up for nomination this week, and the girls have the chance to save some of them from facing the public vote.

Big Brother will be giving tests to the guys to help the girls determine who they want to save.

1st test: the guys have to wear pink aprons and clean the house and give all the girls hand and foot massages, and paint their nails.Helen makes Christopher go stand in the corner and say "I believe in girl power" 50 times. Mark gives Jale a hilarious make-up job.

2nd test: Danielle is put in charge of a finishing school for boys. Winston, Ash and Marlon are given some homework. They were supposed to write a love poem for a girl in the house. Winston wrote his for Danielle. Let's just say it was pretty sexually graphic! At least it rhymed. Ash goes a little more traditional with his poem. He wrote his poem about Jale. OK, that would be the last person I would have thought he was writing about. Marlon wrote to Helen...and it was just strange, especially the way he read it like it was a dramatic reading. Each of them also watched some videos of themselves being rude or offensive to the girls. Danielle offered advice to each of them. Winston seemed the most receptive. Ash was a little defensive, and I don't think he thought his behavior was that bad. While Marlon, just laughed and giggled like a child through the whole thing. What an idiot!

3rd test: The girls are shown some Diary Room videos of the guys answering questions that Big Brother asked them; including questions about the girls.

Big Brother Bootcamp
The girls put the boys through a boot camp, led by Jale and Kimberly. They made them do push-ups and other exercises and drills in the backyard.

Ladies Lunch
The girls are treated to a nice lunch in the backyard, served by the boys. What the boys don't know is the girls all have earpieces and they can hear everything the boys are saying in the kitchen while they are preparing the food. They made them drinks based on their personality, and they gave the drinks names. Danielle got really upset with her drink, a bloody Mary...she didn't know it was a real drink. The guys also said some really offensive things about her being Catholic. They also said things about Kim and Helen that were really offensive.

Ladies Night
The guys serve them dinner, while Winston, Marlon and Ash dress as firefighter strippers and put on a show. Their name was the Strip Squad. I have to say, I rather enjoyed it! They seemed like they were having fun doing it too!

Man Up
The boys have one final chance to impress the girls. Individually, they will plead their case in front of the girls. The common themes among the guys were that they wanted to stay, and that they are learning more about themselves than they thought they would by being here. A couple of them got emotional (Mark, Marlon, Chris).

Winston gave a very impressive speech. I didn't quite expect that from him.

Saved From Eviction
The girls took their task very seriously, and had a lot of discussion on which 3 of the boys to save. They based their decision partly on who they really wanted to stay and who they thought deserved to stay, and partly on who they thought might go home if they were not saved.

They chose to save: Steven, Marlon, Chris

Steven was touched for their reasons for saving him, which were that he is there for everyone in the house. Marlon broke down into tears in Steven's arms when his name was called. I'm really surprised that they wanted to save him so bad. It came down to either Marlon or Ash, and Helen was the only one who wanted to save Ash over Marlon. They came close to saving Matthew, but they didn't think he would go, seeing who else he would be up against.

Dress to Kill
This week's Shopping Task is a murder mystery. Winston is the detective. The rest of the housemates may be assassins, hired to kill their fellow housemates. They have to keep their identities secret, and Winston has to figure out who the assassins are in order win the luxury shopping budget. If he guesses right, the assassins will have to live off of basic rations. The housemates are told to be on the lookout for suspicious activity, and report it to Inspector Winston.

The housemates are given headphones to put on. Everyone is hearing music, except for the assassins...they are hearing instructions from Big Brother. The assassins are: Ash, Jale and Steven. Ash is the leader.

Ash's first task is to set off a smoke bomb to kill Christopher and Helen. He is supposed to discretely put it by the pink sofa when no one is looking. He hid it in his coat, and then acted like he was hot. Then he dropped his coat by the couch. He was able to get Chris to sit next to Helen on the couch and then he left. In his earpiece, Big Brother told him to go to the bathroom to detonate the bomb. It went off without a hitch. Big Brother said that Helen and Christopher have been assassinated. They were then sent to the morgue.

Ash is then told to get Steven to go to the Diary Room through the back door, which was a hidden door in the bathroom in the bedroom. Big Brother will call 2 people into the Diary Room--Kimberly and Marlon. Steven will strike from behind. On Big Brother's cue, Steven threw red paint all over them and they were assassinated.

In the morgue, Helen hid in a body bag and scared the crap out of Marlon and Kimberly! From in the morgue Big Brother let them spy on the other housemates by watching them on the TV screen. Helen and Kimberly witnessed Ashleigh lying about how the whole saving of the guys process went.

The rest of the house was allowed to celebrate Matthew's birthday. The live housemates are allowed to party to some Lady Gaga. Meanwhile in the morgue, the dead are only allowed to watch, and they are only given something to drink, that is supposed to give their bodies what they need.

As part of the festivities, Mystic Mark does a séance to talk to the dead housemates. The housemates will ask questions, and the dead housemates are supposed to answer "yes" or "no". A bell will ring once for no and many times for yes. Many questions were asked of Kimberly and Helen, and no questions were asked of Marlon and Christopher. Other than the basic yes/no questions (mostly about if they liked someone in the house or would go on a date with Steven/Ash), they were asked who the biggest liar and gameplayer was. Both answers were Ashleigh. Ashleigh got defensive and said that Steven could do so much better. Kimberly was very upset that Steven didn't say anything in her defense.

Ash's next hit: he is to pour "blood" on Mark's head while he is sleeping. Ash will get night vision goggles to complete the task. He gets up in the middle of the night and slowly creeps over to Mark's bed with the bucket. He pours it quickly and mark makes no sound, but Danielle screams. That woke Mark up, and then he screamed. He couldn't figure out what had happened. Luckily, Ash was able to get back to his bed before the lights came on.

Mark joins the other dead in the morgue and they talk about being able to see what was going on. They said they felt like they didn't have any friends in the house because no one seemed to care that any of them were missing. Especially Helen. The housemates all said they could have more fun without her there.

Winston has a brunch with Matthew, Chris and Jale. Jale is told that she has to assassinate Matthew. There's a bucket of blood hidden under the table. Big Brother tells her that Winston will be called to the DR (Big Brother will tell him that his microphone isn't working), and then she will strike. Then when Winston comes back, she has to make him think that Chris is the assassin. Chris said he has Matthew's blood on him, so he couldn't be the assassin. They both tell identical stories about it being the other person. Jale did a great job of turning it all on Chris. She even said that Chris had nervous laughter, and the fact that he is an actor against him. She kept such a straight face. Winston was seriously confused. Until...he found some blood on her hat. Winston ultimately chose her, and took her to jail. Nice job Winston!

Winston is then asked to name the other 2 assassins. He actually guesses Ash and Steven! Wow, he was 3 for 3!!! That's amazing! He was so confused and wasn't sure who to pick. Ash and Steven really didn't do anything to make him think it could be them. That was brilliant! I feel bad for them having to be on staples now.

Romance in the House
This week there's been a lot of time focused on the romantic relationships in the house. One is new, one is moving forward, but at the same time is stalling, and the other is about the same.

Ash/Helen: They are still hanging out all the time, chatting and sharing a bed. Not much new happening.

Steven/Kimberly: Kimberly was upset with Steven for not standing up for her. Marlon told Steven that Kimberly was upset, and why. Steven was really upset that she ignored him after coming out of the morgue and that she was upset with him, without even talking to him about what happened. They finally talked, and made up. For the first time, they made out in their bed when the lights were off. Ash saw them, and nudged Helen, and then there was laughter. Kimberly told Danielle about their first kiss and she said she liked it. Things progressed further when Steven asked her if she was committed to someone on the outside, proving that he was serious about his relationship with him. However, things hit the pause button when she wouldn't answer him. He said it wasn't a hard question...either she's committed to someone or she's not. She said on the outside, she would take off her mic and they would go chat. She seemed afraid of someone on the outside hearing something. This concerned him, and rightly so. She told him that she broke up with someone right before the show and it's complicated, and she said that she didn't expect to meet someone like him in the house. She was afraid that by her telling him that that he would back off because of things being complicated. He asked her point blank: do you want to be with him? She said, no. He asked her, do you want to be with me? She said, yes. That was all he needed to know.

Winston/Danielle: The new relationship that is forming is with Winston and Danielle. Ever since the finishing school, and him writing the poem for her, the two have been doing a little bit of flirting. Winston seems to genuinely like her. She's not quite sure how she fells about him just yet, but she does want to get to know him more. She asked him if he would date someone like her on the outside, and he said that he would. Later, she talked to Ashleigh about there being a little bit of footsie going on under the table. Ashleigh said she didn't think she should be doing that unless she genuinely liked him. Later, Danielle told Winston that she thinks she might have been reading his signs wrong, and she didn't think she should be showing him any kind of affection just yet. He said she wasn't reading things wrong and that he liked her showing him affection. They seem like complete opposites in a lot of ways, but I actually kind of like them as a couple. It will be interesting to watch this relationship develop.

Eviction
And this week, it's poor Matthew to be evicted. I really thought it would be Ash. He's still getting a lot of boos...I think only because of his relationship with Helen. That is going to be his downfall I think. He needs to separate himself from her. On the same token, Matthew's girlfriend said he should stay because he was the only one to stand up to Helen. Other than that, he hasn't really done anything negative (or positive) in the house. So, we have to assume people just think he's boring.

For the first time, Mark got to hear the public react to his name. He got A LOT of cheers. He got really emotional when he heard them cheer for him. Poor Mark though, he lost his best friend. I think the house was surprised that it was him to go and not Ash.
