BBUK 15: Week 5 Recap

Week 5 Highlights in the BBUK House

Before They Were Housemates
Mark and Christopher are in the Diary Room. They will be shown pictures of the housemates, and they have to guess who they are. The other housemates are watching from the living room.

They correctly guessed Steven, Helen, Ash, Matthew, Mark. They got a reward of treats and photos from home.

Early Christmas
Apparently one of Christopher's nicknames in the house is Christmas. Big Brother tells him he will be bringing Christmas early to the other housemates. Big Brother is going to treat them to a Christmas feast, but only those who have not been naughty can partake. Chris's job is to figure out who's been naughty and who's been nice. He asks Ashleigh, Chris, Mark, Helen, Danielle and Marlon to come to the DR to find out who's been naughty and nice.

Father Christmas decides who will get the feast. They each get a present to open, and they either get a candycane or a lump of coal.

Ash--candycane
Mark--candycane
Marlon--lump of coal
Ashleigh--candycane
Danielle--lump of coal
Kimberly--candycane
Jale--candycane
Steven--candycane
Chris--candycane
Helen--lump of coal
Winston--candycane

Helen was not happy to be on the naughty list. Marlon actually said others deserved it more than him, so that's why he didn't get to go. Christopher said that Danielle and Helen didn't open up about their experience as much as the other ones did, and weren't as excited to visit Santa in the Grotto.

While Helen has a pity party for herself, the others are treated to a feast and some Christmas songs...which they sang along too...very horribly, I might add. But, they were having fun, and that's all that mattered. Mark's night was made when Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas" came on.

The New Matthew

Mark's best friend in the house was Matthew. Since he's been evicted, he has adopted Christopher as his new Matthew. He couldn't find him (he was in the Diary Room), and he was yelling "Christopher! Christopher!" all over the house. He then went up to the DR and told him to come out because Matthew would have stayed with him.Oh my goodness Mark!

Shopping Task
The house is going to be running on battery power. The housemates are going to be tempted to use "apps" that will drain the battery. They have to have a charge left by the end of the task in order to earn their luxury shopping budget.

First up are Steven and Ashleigh. They are tempted by messages from their moms. They decide to do it, and the rest of the house sees the battery start to get drained. It's now down to 75%. Both of them got very emotional watching their videos.

Danielle is up next. She is offered a pet app, which would let her spend time with her dog Cocoa. She cried a lot, and she finally decided to do it. The battery then went down to 55%. Her dog is so cute, and she was so excited to see her! She was jumping and climbing all over her. She couldn't hold still!

Helen, Kimberly and Jale are next. They are tempted with a gossip app. They choose to do it. They showed a lot of stuff with Ashleigh and Danielle. Just what Helen needed to see to dislike them even more. Kim was upset with what she saw about Danielle. Jale saw Chris say something not so nice about her, so she gave him the silent treatment. They all kind of agreed to not say anything about what they saw, but Helen couldn't help herself and she had it out with Ashleigh in front of everyone.

The housemates are allowed to feed the generator by donating some valuable items. Mark gave up his grooming products, Winston gave up his hair products, Marlon gave up his snap pack (not sure if I got that right...don't know what that is), and Ashleigh gave up her dressing gown. Because of these sacrifices, the battery is now showing 55%.

Christopher and Winston are tempted next. Before Big Brother even tells them what the app is, they decide to do it...whatever it is. Nice, guys...way to take it for the team. Their app is a social media app. The app wil allow them to ask a question on social media, and then Big Brother will read them some of the responses. The battery is now down to 35%.  They want to know what the public thinks about the arguments between Kim, Helen, Danielle and Ashleigh. They thought by throwing all of their names in their together, they might get some good info. That question was Christopher's. Then when it came to Winston's question, he asked "Are you gorgeous girls out there feeling the Wins-meister, what are you saying, what?" Oh dear...

Mark is offered the beauty app, which will drain the battery down to 15%. He takes it, and he gets pampered with a spray tan, and gets his eyebrows waxed.

The last test is for the 5 nominees: Ashleigh, Chris, Christopher, Jale and Marlon. Big Brother offers safety to the first person to push their buzzer. If anyone chooses this, it will use up the rest of the battery. That means that if anyone chooses to use the safety app, the house will have to be on staples for the week. Uh oh...this isn't going to go well. They have 1 minute to decide.I think Ashleigh will do it. She was booed last week and that really bothered her and she knew she would be nominated this week. I think she's really afraid of going home. But wait...it's Marlon who presses the button! Ashleigh said she wanted to prove she wasn't a gameplayer by not pushing the button. Jale said she would rather have the public decide her fate. He sat there and didn't say anything.  The other housemates who were watching were all very upset...especially Mark. He said it was the coward's way of doing things. Mark said he would never force 11 other people to suffer for a week. They couldn't believe he did that, because he complains about food more than anyone. Steven said that the stupid thing is, that he wouldn't have gone anyway this week. But now, they are pretty sure by him doing that, that he will go next week because of it. Mark was also disgusted because he and some of the other housemates gave up things to help them win the task, and then he does something so selfish, which means they did it all for nothing. After all ganging up on him, everyone just left the room, and left him by himself. Later, Winston continues to blow up at Marlon, and he told him he doesn't want to spend another week with him. Danielle was the only person to talk calmly and rationally with him.

Steven & Kimberly
Steven got a warning about things going on in the house, and that had Kimberly very worried. He wouldn't talk to her about it until he went to the DR. Big Brother wouldn't tell him when his mom filmed the video. Basically, his mom said that Kim had a 2-year relationship before coming into the house. After he confronted her, she finally confessed that she was in a long-term relationship that ended only a couple weeks before she came in the house. He was kind of upset because he's falling in love with her, and she hasn't been totally hones with him. Up until a couple weeks ago, she was intimately involved with someone else. She's upset with herself for not being more honest up front. And now, she's worried that she's going to lose him because of his mom warning him about her. She does her best to tell Steven that they "were on a break". Oh my where have we heard that before?! Friends! Ross & Rachel! Ha!

He makes her promise that this won't happen again, and she does. Looks like he's giving her another chance.

Compatibility Test
Before entering the house, the housemates took a test. Bog Bother is now pairing them up with their most compatible partner. They will compete against other couples and the winner will get a feast. The pairs:

Danielle and Steven
Jale and Winston
Kimberly and Marlon
Ashleigh and Chris
Mark and Christopher
Helen and Ash

1st task was to see how creative and comfortable the pairs could be with each other. One person will cover themselves in paint. Then, they have to cover their partner without using their hands or arms. The recipient then has to paint themselves on a canvas and get as much paint on it as they can. This could get really interesting! The couple with the least amount of paint on the canvas won't get to go to the party.Let's just say it was a lot of gyrating and wiggling, and it was really funny! The least compatible couple was Christopher and Mark.

2nd task was questions about their partners. The ones with the least correct answers won't get to go to the party. Ashleigh and Chris got 2/3. Jale and Winston got 2/3. Kimberly and Marlon got 2/3. Helen and Ash got 1/3. Danielle and Steven got 1/3. That means that Danielle and Steven don't get to go to the party.

Jale and Winston were considered the most compatible, so they got private access to the love pod.

Steven's Task
He gets a series of secret tasks. The house are in on it and will be told each of his tasks. They have to guess who he will pick for each task. Ashleigh will be wearing an earpiece and she will be told what each task is before Steven does it.

Task 1: Perform a sexy dance for the person in the house he thinks is the sexiest. Of course they all think he will pick Kim. They were right.

Task 2: He will give an annoyingly long hug to the person he thinks is the most annoying. They think he will pick Christopher. They were right. Christophers' face was priceless was the hug was going on.

Task 3: He will pick the biggest gameplayer and he will play Rock, Paper, Scissors with that person. They pick Marlon. They were right.

Task 4: He will pick the person he thinks will be evicted and tell them that they are safe this week. They pick Ashleigh. They were right.

They got them all right, so they passed the task, and they will get a party. It's a fun disco party and they all get to dress up with fun costumes and wigs.

Eviction
It's down to Ashleigh and Jale. And the person evicted is Jale! What?! I'm shocked! Ashleigh was booed so badly last week, and this week. But for some reason Jale was booed a lot this week too. I don't think she did anything to make people turn on her. She was so well-liked by the public, I don't know what happened. Ashleigh's mouth dropped to the ground in shock. Figures...I was really starting to like her.
