Reality Bites: Bachelor In Paradise Cast Announced

Have you had enough of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette contestants? Me either! Well, guess what. There's a new series coming this summer. In place of Bachelor Pad, where former Bachelors and Bachelorettes competed against each other to be the last couple standing to win some money--instead, we now have Bachelor In Paradise, which is going to be different. There's supposedly no competitions and no eliminations, everyone's there just to find love. Other than that, no one really knows what's going to happen in this series. Even today, when the cast was announced, very little was said about what was actually going to happen in this series. What we do know, is that the "paradise" is in Mexico.

Here's part of the cast list and their original seasons. Don't feel bad if you don't recognize some of these people...not all of them made a lasting impression on their original season. When more people are confirmed, check back here for updates.

Update 7/14/14: The cast list has been confirmed, and updated below. Also confirmed is the premise of the show. Remember the show Paradise Hotel? Well, this is going to be almost EXACTLY like that! I for one, am very excited, because I loved that show!

Here's how it works
8 girls and 6 guys will start out the show. The numbers are intentionally uneven because the guys will each pick a girl to pair up with. The 2 girls not picked are sent home. The next episode, 2 new men will arrive. The girls can then choose to stick with their partner or choose someone else. The 2 guys without a partner will be sent home. And so on, and so forth...you get the gist. Pretty much exactly like Paradise Hotel. It seems like the biggest difference going into the show is that we already know these people (some better than others). And, most of them probably already know each other at least a little bit. They won't be complete strangers like on Paradise Hotel.

Remember: the show premieres on Monday, August 4 at 8:00 PM

The Original Girls

		Clare Crawley, 32 Bachelor Season: Juan Pablo Known For: Runner-up Disliked by many of the girls on her season and got into a big fight with "winner" Nikki Told off Juan Pablo during her exit, saying that she wouldn't want her children to have a father like him (among many other zingers)
		Lacy Faddoul, 25 Bachelor Season: Juan Pablo Known For: Not much...she was eliminated on the first night
		AshLee Frazier, 33 Bachelor Season: Sean Known For: Attacking Sean on the Women Tell All episode, calling him a frat boy and accusing him of telling her he didn't have feelings for the other 2 remaining girls
		Sarah Herron, 27 Bachelor Season: Sean Known For: Being born with only one arm Fan favorite, eliminated in week 6, without getting a one-on-one date
		Michelle Kujawa, 30 Bachelor Season: Jake (and Bachelor Pad 1) Known For: Being extremely creepy and crazy--she had one of the most memorable, awkward kisses in Bachelor history, and being eliminated mid-date Fighting with fan-favorite Tenley
		Daniella McBride, 26 Bachelor Season: Sean Known For: Not much...she made it to week 6 without getting a one-on-one date
		Michelle Money, 32 Bachelor Season: Brad Womack (and Bachelor Pad 2) Known For: So many things..mainly being a villain that all the other girls hated. She often talked about girls behind their backs.
		Elise Mosca, 28 Bachelor Season: Juan Pablo Known For: Refusing to pose nude for a photo shoot, and switching costumes with Lucy

		Graham Bunn, 35 Bachelorette Season: DeAnna (and Bachelor Pad 2) Known For: Choosing to exit the show and leaving DeAnna in tears Teamed up with Michelle Money in Bachelor Pad 2 and lost to Holly Durst and Michael Stagliano
		Robert Graham, 31 Bachelorette Season: Desiree Known For: Being eliminated in week 2 because he had dated someone Des knew
