The Bachelor, Ep. 19.20: Women Tell All

BachelorNation Party Crashing
Chris H. crashes some fan viewing parties along with this season's bachelor, Chris. Chris (the bachelor) says, "What if they have guns?" Really, Chris? What a stupid thing to say. Who would bring a gun to a Bachelor viewing party. He keeps losing points with me week after week...

Let's just say, the girls at these parties are a lot like Ashley S. and drunk Tara and Jordan.

Recapping the Drama
Random clips from the season, with live facial reactions from the girls. Lots of boos from the crowd after Carly's really hurtful words about Britt. Britt was in tears. She asked Carly why she pretended to be her friend. Carly said it was confusing because she didn't think drama needed to be created where it didn't exist. Carly said it wasn't about her friendship with Britt...and then everyone was shouting.

Britt goes to the hot seat.

Carly points out that on Chris's blog, he pointed out that she was the 3rd person (after Jade and Ashley) to tell Chris about Britt. Jillian chimed in and said that Carly bad-mouthed her to Chris as well for no reason. She got really heated as she came to Britt's defense. Britt didn't understand why the girls would talk about her not wanting kids etc., and then they cut to her talking to Chris telling him she did. I still think the bigger issue here is why Carly felt the need to just say downright mean and degrading things about another person, not only to the girls but to Chris as well. It does not make her come off looking too well. Yes, you don't need to be friends with everyone, and you might not agree with things they are doing/saying, but that doesn't make it right to be cruel. Carly said she likes Britt and doesn't wish her bad things...cue eye rolls. She said her problems came from all of the completely different stories Britt was giving to different people in the house and to Chris.

Ashley I. says she does really like Britt. She clarified that she said that Britt didn't want to get married and have kids right away, not that she didn't ever want that.

Chris H. asks Britt if she honestly would move to Arlington. She said yes, and everyone couldn't believe her answer. She said it reminded her of where she grew up and she knows he doesn't live in the closed down bank in town, but he lives in a beautiful home in the countryside.

Chris H. asks her if Carly wasn't in the picture, if she thinks her and Chris would be together, and she thinks they would. Again the rest of the girls are shocked.

It's obvious these 2 really won't ever be friends. They both have valid points, but I think they both are over-exaggerating their sides of the story.

During the break, Britt breaks down. Chris still questions whether she thinks she could have ended up with him. She still says yes...Chris H. kind of looks on in disbelief.

Kelsey in the hot seat next. Oh boy, here we go. Has she watched herself on TV and has she realized what a fool she made of herself?

As we see the clips, again, it's Carly (along with Ashley I.) who came off looking really mean. The tears start right away, and Kelsey said she it is like grieving all over again. She said she was open to love again and after the experience it brought her back to the despair. She asks for a tissue and Chris H. pulls the silk one out of his suit. She smiles and asks him if he's sure, because it's silk. She kind of blew her nose in it and said she was going to keep it. Creepy! The look on Ashley I.'s face was priceless.

Chris H. asks her why she thinks the girls might not like her. She thinks it might be because she uses big words. The girls all shake their heads. Chris H. asks if she watched herself back and if she can see why she might have been misunderstood by the girls. She said her spending time with Chris could have been misconstrued. She said the panic attack was just a natural reaction to the stress from the day. She said she didn't realize that so many of the girls didn't like her. She wished they would have talked to her rather than talk behind her back. She said she just wanted to be accepted like everyone else. She apologized for the things she said about Ashley I., which were said in anger, in the moment.

Chris H. stopped the girls from chiming in several times, but finally he gave them the chance to speak their minds. Juelia said she is one of the most calculating people she's ever met, and is completely fake. She said she would never use what happened to her to say that she deserved love more than anyone else.

Megan wanted to know why, if she was still grieving, why she would put herself on the show. Kelsey said if you've lost a loved one, you never stop grieving.

Trina said the "amazing story" quote was really what was so shocking. She said that comment hurt a lot of people and she regrets saying it because it wasn't her intention to minimize his death or to be manipulative. She said the amazing thing was finding the love of her life at 19, and they had built a great life together. After losing that and thinking that she wouldn't be able to move on, she did.

Samantha said she feels like the only reason she left that night was because Kelsey got the sympathy rose. Well, Samantha, I'm sorry to say no one remembers anything you ever did or said on the show, so I doubt Chris does either. I don't think you can blame that all on Kelsey. She probably didn't help your case, but you just didn't do anything memorable. Kelsey said she felt like it was her fault that the cocktail party was canceled and she felt so much weight from the previous conversation. Their biggest deal with the whole panic attack was her wanting to see Chris, and going between crying and laughing.

Chris H. asks if there is anything she wanted to ask the girls. She said wanted their forgiveness and she never meant to hurt any of them.  Ashley I. said it was hard to accept her apology because she's said so many harsh things about her and everyone else.

Kelsey said that Ashley I.'s comment about her husband not even existing and her making the whole thing up, that was just so below the belt. Ashley I. said that a lot of people in America were saying the same thing after watching her talk about him. She said she never showed any emotion when she talked about what happened to him...when she was telling the girls about him, that is. Britt stood up for Kelsey and said they should really be sure it's fake before they say something like that.

Ashley S. is up next. Oh, let the train wreck continue.

I still can't quite comprehend the absolute craziness that came out of that woman's mouth. We see a moment on the camping date where she was using a rather large ax to chop a piece of wood (and it wasn't going too well). Chris makes a statement about wanting to find his wife and not be murdered in his sleep! Ha! I don't remember seeing that before.

She takes the stage, and part of me is really hoping that she reveals that this was all a big dare to be a complete idiot. I would hate to think that this was actually her.

She presents Chris H. a hosting gift of an onion. She said she started growing onions after the show. She said she couldn't believe that the tree was growing things and she thought it was an onion. OK, still crazy.

The "mesa verde"...her family went on a vacation through the mesa verde. The place where they were shooting the zombies looked just like that. OK.

The time she strolled through production and the accounting department...she said "oh is that what you call it." She corrected Chris when he said that she said they were gambling. She said they were "betting". She said she walked around because she was bored. She said she saw all these people and when they told her she couldn't be there, so she thought they were betting.

Apparently she talked to a cat, and Chris H. wanted to know what it said. She said it never replied.

Chris H. said he gets asked all the time if she was a planted actress on the show. He said Meryl Streep couldn't have pulled this off. He asked if this was the real Ashley, and she said she likes to ride bikes and this is her. She said it's hard not to be silly with all the cameras around. She said while the other girls were crying, she was out picking pomegranates.

Chris H. begs her to be on Bachelor in Paradise. She said "it's so weird...that we're all on TV". I'm still so incredibly confused. It has to all be an act! Doesn't it? Nobody can be this much of a spastic idiot, right?! I'm sorry that's mean, but come on, how else do you describe her?

Jade takes the hot seat.

Chris H. asks her if she was falling in love with Chris, and she said she was. It took a lot of courage for her to tell him (and show him) about her past. She didn't expect to go home after their conversation because he was very supportive. She said he made a point of saying it wasn't because of that when he said goodbye.

She said she read his blog and he said that her family's description of her and what he saw of her were so different and that really hurt her. She wondered why he wasn't honest with her about his feelings. She said she was honest with him, and he could have done the same. She said she didn't feel like they had closure. She still doesn't know exactly why she was sent home.

Kaitlyn's turn in the hot seat.

She said it was heartbreaking to watch herself getting her heartbroken. She really felt confident, and maybe the most confident in any Rose Ceremony. She told him she was falling in love with him and he said the same. She didn't come out of their conversation thinking she would go home. She said if he knew she wasn't the one, then she didn't think he would let her go through the Rose Ceremony. She had no clue it was going to be her going home. She said she thinks about that day, every day. Not having answers makes her still so confused about everything. Chris H. said he was shocked that this was the first time that she was so shocked that she had no words.

Time for Chris to come out and face the ladies.

Britt's already in tears. She asks to join him on the stage. She hugged him and gave him another really long hug...just like she did on limo night. And again, it was awkward. She sat down and grabbed his hands. She said she knows why he did what he did and why he believed Carly. She said she left on a really sour note. She said she would never lie to him and she's proud of him. He said her leaving was not because of believing or not believing Carly. It was based on his experience with her and not on what other people told him. She said that made her feel better. She said whoever he ends up with is lucky.

Katilyn said she had 0 reasons to believe that she would be blindsided that day in Bali. She said she got 0 explanations and him stumbling over his words. She just wanted a genuine answer of what happened. He said he wasn't trying to sugar coat things when he said goodbye. He said he was falling in love with 3 women, and he felt like he was throwing a dart blindly at a tdart board. He hoped there would be a moment when he knew which 2 people he wanted to meet his family and that didn't happen. She wanted to know why he didn't just pull her aside and why he made her stand through the Rose Ceremony. He said it was his first time being the Bachelor. He said going into that day, he was still thinking about what to do. He agrees that he could have handled it differently and she definitely deserved that. He said he made mistakes with everyone, but in the moment, he did the best he could.

Jade asks to join him on stage so she can talk with him and not at him. She said when he told her that he wasn't sending her home because of her photos. But when she read his blog and he said it was disturbing that the person he had come to know and the way her family described her were so vastly different. She broke down and wanted to know what he meant by disturbing. He said "caught off guard" would have been a better way to describe it. He said her brother calling her a wild mustang was not the person he saw. She was more conservative and he never saw a wild side to her. She said her secret kind of followed her around and she was more conservative because she was worried about telling him about it. She said that when he said that looking at her photos and videos was awkward. She said she felt like they decided to look at them together and that if he felt at all awkward about it he should have been honest with her about it. I have to agree with her a little bit on that one...although he did seem hesitant and she kind of didn't take the hint, but he really could have been  a little more vocal about it not being necessary. I think he was just so afraid of making her feel bad. However, this was such a big deal to her because it had ruined relationships in the past, so I think he maybe tried to overcompensate and really make it seem like it wasn't going to be a problem for him. She said it would have meant so much more to her for him to say to wait for a more special or private time to look at them. He said she had told him that she wanted him to see them with her before he saw them anywhere else, and for the betterment of their relationship he agreed, but it was still awkward. He apologized for his poor choice of words and she seemed to accept that.

And of course, one of the best parts of any Tell All episode...the bloopers!!! I loved the part with Chris H. showing Jimmy Kimmel how to present.
