Big Brother UK 14: Week 5 Recap

Dan's Task
Since Dan is a former policeman, Big Brother gave him the task of being a detective. Big Brother selected Sam to be a secret saboteur, out to ruin Dan's day. It is up to Dan to find out who the saboteur is. All the rest of the housemates are there to assist Sam in burying Dan's toiletries in the veg patch and throwing his clothes in the pool.

In full detective gear, Dan sets out to interview his housemates to get clues of the saboteurs identity, while Sam begins his plan. Dan hides behind beds and behind doors as he listens and watches what people are doing. It's hilarious! At the end of the day, Dan had to make his guess of who the saboteur was and he chose Sam! Good work detective Dan! For failing his task, Sam is sent to jail. Poor Sam. Dan's reward was some fitness equipment.

New Safe House Guests

The public voted, and Daley and Hazel were voted into the safe house. They will now live in luxury and are immune from the next nomination and eviction.

A new feature of the safe house is the Safe House Request Hotline. Daley and Hazel can call into the main house with requests. The first request that Hazel made Daley call in was for pancakes. Dexter answered the phone and said he would gather the chefs immediately. To which Daley replied "tick tock."

They tell Charlie and Sophie to give everyone mud facials. Then they have Jack and Joe give them massages.

Daley calls, and Callum picked up and he requested that Dexter make good on a promise. Dexter promised that if he didn't get voted out, that he would streak in the garden. And he did!!! He sang R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" as he ran.

Daley is Ejected from the Big Brother House!
Following a late night pillow fight with Hazel that went too far, Big Brother decided to eject Daley from the house. Hazel was issued an official warning for her part in it.

Apparently Daley and Hazel had had a bit too much to drink. Hazel was being silly by not giving him back his sheets. He got a little rough with her and slapped her bottom, quite hard. She continued to tease him, and she even pulled down his pants (it was dark in the room, so you couldn't see anything). He continued to get upset and used some threatening language towards her. The final moment that caused Big Brother to call him immediately to the Diary Room was when he got on the bed and put his hands around her throat.

Hazel was also called to the Diary Room later. She admitted that she felt a little threatened and that he was too close to her. She said she didn't know where that came from.

Love Triangle
Dexter professes his love for Charlie. Charlie wants to like him, but she doesn't think she can trust him. She also doesn't really have feelings for Callum any more still due to what her mom viewed on his VT. Callum says there is no love triangle and that Dexter can have her.

Shopping Task
There is a huge remote control in the room and Big Brother can choose to rewind them, pause them or fast forward them. This leads to some hilarious things like sheep entering the house, men being waxed, family members coming in and more. They completed the task by not having too many fails.

Callum's Challenge
He needs to keep the housemates occupied doing the task for 2 hours. If he wants them to pass, he should scratch his head, and if he wants them to fail, he should rub his knee. They had to do things like paint each other, take a bath with some gross things, eat a huge cake and sing/dance. They were told they had to figure out how to pass the task, not knowing that it was an impossible task to pass. He was able to get them to 2 hours, so they passed.

Jail
Callum, Charlie, Gina and Dan were put in jail because they jumped in the Safe House pool, which is against the rules.

Love Dance
Jackie is given the task to choreograph a dance called "The Pursuit of Charlie" to tell the story of Dexter and Callum's relationships with Charlie. The whole house must participate. Callum and Dexter's acting was hilarious! Big Brother gave them a standing ovation and they passed the task.

Safe House: 
The housemates get the chance to decide which 2 housemates will enter the safe house and will therefore, be safe from elimination for this week.

They choose to send Sam and Sophie. However, Big Brother lied and they actually just picked them to be up for elimination!!!! Oh my gosh! Later in the week, Sam and Sophie will pick a 3rd person to join them, and THAT person will also be up for elimination!
