Survivor, Ep. 29.5

After Tribal - Hunahpu
Jon did NOT see it coming that Drew was going to go home. Jon said that if they would have have told him about it, he would have gone along with it (yeah right). He apologizes to Jeremy and tries to reassure him that he's with them.

Arena
Alec is SHOCKED to see Drew gone. He had just gotten done telling his tribe that he didn't see Drew being the first one gone on the tribe because they would obviously want to keep winning. Alec said the only thing he could think of is that he was seen as a threat. They all thought he was "Mr. Popular" on that tribe...and Hunahpu laughs out loud.

Then it's...surprise..."drop your buffs" time! Time to mix it up!

New Tribes

New Hunahpu:
Pairs--Josh & Reed
Still Separated--Wes (from dad Keith)
Single--Alec, Natalie, Julie, Jeremy

New Coyopa:
Pairs--Missy & Baylor, Dale & Kelley, Jon & Jaclyn
Still Separated--Keith (from son Wes)

Hunahpu Camp
New to Hunahpu: Josh, Wes, Alec, Jeremy
Wes is shocked to see how little rice is left. They are going to be in some trouble because that's not going to last them very long.

Josh & Reed are seen as a threat because they are the only couple on the tribe. People may want to get them split up as soon as possible. Jeremy is pretty sure that Reed is going to jump ship and join Josh's group. Jeremy wants to get Alec to come with them because it makes more sense because they are all singles. Jeremy thinks Alec is just like his brother...he's hoping he can get through to him.

Alec is kind of happy to not be in his big brother's shadow, and he can say that he lasted longer in the game than he did.

Reed is lethargic, and they are all wondering what they are going to do for food because they only have a cup or so of rice, and the same for the beans. Immediately Alec thinks they might have to trade reward for food. Oh dear...didn't he see how far that got his brother?

Coyopa Camp
New to Coyopa: Missy, Kelley, Jon and Keith

Jon & Jaclyn are psyched to be back together. They immediately start to spill the dirt about what's been going on. And there's so much PDA! That's going to get annoying for people I think.

Poor Keith is all by himself. Right off the bat, that doesn't look good for him. He would be an easy target to go after first. However, he does have his idol, so if played correctly, that could give him an extra few days.

Missy starts making rice and Baylor keeps telling her to put in more and more and more. They all thought it was too much, and she was getting mad that Dale was monitoring the rice situation so much, because that's not how they did it at her camp. And that's why they have NO RICE left on Hunahpu. Kelley talks to her dad about not coming off so bossy. He does his best to bite his tongue (literally), and also to not throw a rock at her...that's how upset he was getting over her coming in and taking over their rice!

Immunity Challenge
Challenge: dig through sand to find a bag with a key, then crawl through mud to get to a lock, that key will release a gate; then they have to shake a pole to get 20 bags to fly out, and then they will try to get 10 bags onto a platform.

What a yucky, messy challenge! Hunahpu has a huge lead, as Coyopa can't find their bag.

Hunahpu has 6 bags, while Coyopa is still shaking their basket. Jeff had to yell at them to shake harder and to tell them that the pole bends because they were barely shaking it.

And just like that, not even close, Hunahpu wins immunity!

And before everyone leaves, Reed asks to speak to Jeff. He proposes that they need to trade for a bag of rice because they have basically nothing. Josh said that they were only eating once a day while Hunahpu was eating larger portions TWICE a day. Jeff tells them to enjoy the little rice that they have because he had a Tribal Council to get to. He said he will come to their camp tomorrow and they will figure something out, but the price is going to be steep. Wow...29 seasons in, and they continue to have a lot of firsts on this one.

Side note; They all look disgusting! They are completely black from head to toe.

Pre-Tribal: Coyopa
Keith realizes the position he's in. He sees a possible "in" in that Dale and Missy don't get along. Dale doesn't care for the way Baylor has been playing the game--she says she's voting one way, and then votes another way. He thinks his best bet is for he and Kelley to work with Jon & Jaclyn. It looks like they have a solid 4 alliance. Now, if Keith can just get in good with that group, I would be really happy. I don't care for either Missy or Baylor, so either one of them can go!

Baylor tries to express her position to Jon & Jaclyn. Missy tries to convince Jon & Jaclyn that Dale & Kelley could be big threats.

Both Missy & Baylor and Dale & Kelley think they have Jon & Jaclyn on their side. They can go whichever way they want. So, it seems that Keith is safe for now. I just wish he was in on some of these conversations, because sooner or later, he will be the target.

Tribal Council
Keith said his situation could be good or bad. Good, because he still has some of his old tribe with him, but bad because he's the odd man out.

Jeff points out that Jon & Jaclyn are the "go to" couple since Dale and Baylor haven't gotten along from the start.

Missy can't get past Dale trying to go after Baylor from the beginning. They all point out that she was gunning for him first.

The Votes

Oh man! We just can't get rid of Baylor! I thought for sure it was going to be her tonight! What are Jon & Jaclyn thinking?
