BBAU 11: Week 7 Recap

Week 7 in the BBAU House

Travis Returns
Big Brother tells Lawson it is time for his best trick yet. He is going to be making Travis reappear in the house.

The house thinks a surprise visitor will be coming. They do not expect Travis. Needless to say, Aisha was ecstatic!

New HOH
Priya was chosen as the new Head of House for the week. Priya chooses to take Sandra to the Sanctuary because she is the only who hasn't seen it yet.

Shopping Task

They will create a band, and they will choose 2 lead singers (one male and one female). They will record a single and a music video. They public will decide if they succeed.

First, they will hold auditions to choose their singers. All other housemates will be backup singers.

They all go off into their own little spaces to learn the song and practice their singing.

Travis--he tried, but was a little off, especially on the chorus

Skye--we've heard her sing before, and she is actually really, really good! It's so shocking because her singing voice sounds nothing like her high and squeaky speaking voice

Jason--he got stage fright, but he performed with a lot of passion. He didn't sound anything like Christina Aguilera, lie said he's been told.

Sandra--she came up with kind of a fake voice, but it was actually kind of good.

David--he was surprisingly good!

Marina--really bad, and no pitch whatsoever.

Cat--she was good!

Leo--it's hard to believe he was a rapper, because he was really bad.

Priya--not too bad.

Aisha--she was really good.

Lawson--he was a little shy, but it wasn't too bad.

Ryan--he was cute, and it wasn't the worst.

The group then had to vote.

Skye won for the girls
David won for the guys

At the band meeting, they voted for the Band Manager and the Creative Director. They pick Jason as the Band Manager and Ryan as the Creative Director.

They vote on the name of The Caged Flamingos.

Crossing the Line/Awkwardness
Lawson and Cat officially cross the line...big time. Lawson is on top of Cat on the bed and they are making out. In walks Leo, and out walks Leo, "Wow," he said when he walked back out.

She now has her legs wrapped all around him, and Jason walks in "Oh, excuse me" and walks back out. Ryan also walked in on them.

They each say that they are falling in love with each other. Cat tells Lawson that he doesn't have to face what's going to happen to him on the outside alone.

During an earlier game of Truth or Dare, Lawson was asked to choose between his girlfriend and Cat, and he chose Cat. Cat asked him if he wanted to kiss her and he said yes.

Power Play
Priya recently said that Aisha was the housemate who has had the easiest time in the house. As a result, she is to present Aisha with the choice to leave the house immediately and receive $20,000.

When Priya presents Aisha with the dilemma, she fibs a little bit and tells her that she got to choose the person who she thought could best use $20,000. When in fact, she was to choose the person whos she thought was coasting the most through the game. Remember, Aisha already won $20,000, so it's not quite believable that out of everyone that she needed the money the most.

Aisha chooses not to leave for the money. Priya is then told to send Travis to the Power Room. Since Aisha turned it down, Travis and Aisha are told that after the eviction they will go to the Sanctuary for 24 hours, where they will consider if they want to both leave as a pair with $50,000. That $50,000 will come from the total winnings at the end of the game.

Eviction #1
Sandra is evicted!

Voting:
Ryan 38.3% -- he was saved with the most votes to save
Sandra 8.8%

We don't  know the other percentages yet because there will be another eviction tomorrow.

Live Performance by the Caged Flamingos
They had to perform their song live for the public to vote. They had a whole routine with a lot of choreography. They all did a really good job! They even had a signature flamingo move at the end!

Power Play Results
Aisha was ready to stay right away, but Travis had thoughts of leaving. However, they did have to decide what to do as a couple. Eventually. they both decide to stay.

Eviction #2
Jason is evicted! What?!?! I can't believe he got the 2nd fewest votes. What the heck?! He was so popular, what happened? I know it was tough competition with David and Priya, but I didn't think he would go. The house is not going to be near as fun without him. And it is his birthday even, what a rotten birthday present.

Voting:
David 18.4%
Priya 17.6%
Jason 16.9%

Nominations
Skye -- David 3 pts and Ryan 2 pts
Leo -- Priya 3 pts and Marina 2 pts
Ryan -- Travis 3 pts and Aisha 2 pts
Cat -- Travis 3 pts and Priya 2 pts
Lawson -- Skye 4 pts and Priya 1 pt
David -- Priya 3 pts and Marina 2 pts
Marina -- Leo 3 pts and Lawson 2 pts
Aisha -- Cat 3 pts and Leo 2 pts
Travis -- Leo 3 pts and Cat 2 pts

Power Play--She chose to look at herself, and she sees that she is at the top of the board with the most points. She then looks at Travis, who is 2 spots below her. Her goal is to distribute points out so that she moves down and the other 5 move up.

Travis -1
David - 1
Skye - 1
Skye - 1

After seeing that she wasn't changing her or Travis's positions, she opted to try to get more people nominated. Instead of just 5, she was hoping to get at least 7.

David - 1
Lawson - 1
Leo - 1
Aisha - 1
Marina - 1

For her last point, she wanted to see where Lawson was. She found that he was not one of the 7 in the red zone and she was shocked.

She is happy with this result. Her instinct was on survival since she knew she wouldn't be able to move herself down the leader board that far. Now she has better odds with more people nominated. Very strategic of her

Nominees
Leo - 9
Priya - 9
Travis - 7
Skye - 6
Cat - 5
David - 5
Marina - 5
