Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 19.7

This week it's the switch-up! The public has voted, and each will now be paired up with a new pro. For 1 week only, these are the new pairs. Also, there will be no elimination this week, and their scores from last week will be added to this week, when someone will be eliminated next week.

Antonio & Allison - Bollywood
I love me some Bollywood! Hoping to see some abs in this one! Yep, there they are...hello abs! There is so much technique to this style, and so many fast, intricate movements, so these dances are always so much fun to watch, but seriously have to be like the hardest to perform. He looks so cute in his Aladdin pants. He's getting the moves, but he's like half a second behind her the whole time. He looks like he's watching her to keep from messing up instead of just letting go and having fun. No major mess-ups, so it still looked clean....just not as clean and precise as it could have been. Part of that could be that he is just not as used to dancing with her, and they haven't quite developed their chemistry yet. Love the ending with him being hoisted up in the air...very cool.
Score: 28 (57 total)

Bethany & Mark - Hip-Hop
How cute are they together?! It's an interesting match-up because Mark and Derek swapped partners. I can't wait to see what Mark puts together for Hip-Hop! I love her hair! Oh man, they're almost making out! I love how he incorporated some ballroom moves, and parts of it were smooth, and then they break out into some really cool hard-hitting moves. I think it was awesome! You could tell she was really feeling the music and having a good time with it.
Score: 32 (65 total)

Jonathan & Peta - Jitterbug
This dance was so fast! I wasn't sure he was going to keep up, but he totally did! They had a little bobble on one of the lifts, and then the last lift/spin was a little out of control. The whole thing was a little bit hectic and there was so much going on. I know Peta really wanted to get him good scores this week, and I think maybe she threw just a little bit too much at him to try to accomplish that.
Score: 24 (48 total)

Alfonso & Cheryl - Flamenco

Cheryl warned him that this was a full-out professional routine. I'm sure she knows what she's doing, and she knows that he can totally live up to the challenge. This should be cool because we haven't seen him do anything like this so far. I actually love the Flamenco, and I don't know why they don't do it more on the show. They are so in sync! Arms and everything, right on point. We definitely saw a serious side to him this week, and he just proved that he can do anything, and he's not just a one-trick pony with all the fast, fun dances. He was awesome again!
Score: 34 (74 total)

Janel & Artem - Burlesque
This is going to be smokin' hot! I think they are going to make an awesome couple. Artem looks amazing...and so does Janel. As expected, this was an amazing and sizzling routine! Great choreography, and she danced it so perfectly.  The flips at the end were ridiculous! She can do anything, and she does it all so well. I think Artem was a little bit smitten with Janel, it was so cute!
Score: 33 (69 total)

Michael & Witney - Disco
That fake mustache is just too much! He looks like a really creepy 70s dude. Let's be honest here...there wasn't a whole lot of content here. He did some lifts, which drew attention to Witney. There were a few recognizable Disco arm moves, but other than that, it just wasn't up to the standards he needs to be at at this stage. His time should be up, he needs to be the next one to go. Jonathan's been getting straight 6s, and he's not as bad as Michael, so his scores need to start reflecting that.
Score: 20 (45 total)

Tommy & Emma - Mambo
Please tell me they are dancing to "Mambo No. 5"! Please, please, please! Darn...it's not. Oh well. It's always amazing to see him nail all his steps when he looks so lost in his rehearsals. I wouldn't say this was his best dance. He had a couple moments where he didn't pick up the move right away, but he was able to find it and keep going without it messing up the rest of the dance. I wish they would have gotten a more fun song to dance with..this was kind of dull. It's interesting that Carrie Ann mentioned the same thing.
Score: 23 (51 total)

Sadie & Derek - Charleston
I love these 2 together! Another really cool match-up. Mark is so jealous that Sadie took Derek to her home and he got to do some really cool stuff with her family. There was no doubt that this was going to be a super cool, and super fun routine. I loved the modern elements that Derek threw in. I love Derek and Bethany, but I wish Sadie was with Derek and Bethany was with Mark full time. They complimented each other so well, and after only being with each other for a week. Great routine, and she totally killed it! She nailed every single move. I just love her personal, funky style. She puts her stamp on every dance she does.
Score: 36 (73 total)

Lea & Val - Broadway
Oh my gosh, Val is an old man with a walker! Can't wait to see this! Lea totally lived up to Janel's standards. Val did not hold anything back with this routine. It was fast, precise, and so much content! It was clear Val was trying to keep up with Artem and Janel. Very fun routine! And the kiss!
Score: 34 (73 total)
