After Tribal
Katie realizes that she is in big trouble. Laura and Ciera are the only couple left in the game. They think that they have the power in the game. Ciera seems to have taken on the leadership role over her mom. As someone who's never played the game, to be telling Laura, her mother, what to do...that's pretty interesting. Ciera also recognizes that she has a better chance of winning than her mother, so she may have to turn on her sooner rather than later.
Redemption Island Duel
I am so incredibly nervous for this duel. Aras and Vytas should have a huge advantage, but watch Tina go and do really well. If she knocks either Aras or Vytas out, I'm going to be VERY upset! Whoever loses will become the first jury member. I can't believe it's time for the jury already. You know what that means: PONDEROSA!
The challenge is a repeat of previous seasons where they have to throw a grappling hook to grab bags. Tina is killing it and getting a bag with each throw. Tina is the first to get all 4 bags. After the bags they take a ball and get it through on a table maze. Aaah! I'm so nervous! Oh no! Ara's ball falls through a hole! It's Tina vs. Vytas. She's at the final spot and needs it to go into the center hole, and Yes!...it falls in a hole and she has to start over! Vytas gets it in and he wins! Go Aras! Oh no, Tina is getting close again. I can't watch! This is killing me! Noooooo! Tina beat him! I am so bummed! I can't believe Aras is out! If it had to be one of them, I wish it would have been Vytas. At least Aras is a class act and handled it like a pro. He knew he got beat and he had no hard feelings. The only positive, is that we get to see Aras's beautiful face at every Tribal Council, and there's always the Ponderosa episodes!
As the winner, Vytas, gives the immunity clue to Katie because he thinks she needs it. For once, she keeps it and it doesn't get thrown into the fire. It's not going to do her much good since Tyson has the idol.
Kasama Camp
Katie reads her clue and she knows exactly where it is. Back at camp, they decide to hide all the sharp tools so she can't dig. They will wait to see where she goes, and then they will start digging there.
Tyson wants him, Caleb, Hayden and Gervase to vote for Laura M. That way Ciera doesn't have to vote for her mom. Tyson thinks they should strike now before she suspects anything. Ciera, however, already suspects that in her alliance of 7, there are 4 boys who can pick off the 3 girls very easily. Ciera talks with her mom about how she doesn't have as good of a chance of winning as she does. Ciera says that Laura will have to win every immunity to stay alive, and just wouldn't happen. She thinks that if she votes Laura out, that she will make the final 3. I don't know about that, but she is right that the best thing for her game, as hard as it is, is to get rid of her mom. Emotions are running wild right now...Ciera doesn't want to have to vote her mom out and it was hard for her to tell her mom that the reality was that she needed to go in order for her to move further in the game. Laura was impressed that Ciera was able to bring this up with her and she was proud of her for doing it, even though it pretty much sealed her own fate in the game.
Katie gets up before the sun rises to look for the idol...but she's not alone...Laura followed her. Ciera started digging in all the wrong places to throw her off.
Tyson goes to Ciera and he says that she might not like what he's going to say. She says "you're voting my mom out?" Tyson says "no, I'm not voting her out. Hayden and Caleb are." Oh nice one Tyson...just throw them under the bus. The funny part was that Ciera immediately tells him that she is ok with voting her mom out.
Immunity Challenge
This is always a tough one. They have to hold onto a rope while leaning backwards over the water. All I have to say is, none of the girls better win this! Go Hayden! I thought, and so did Hayden, that he was in a good spot, and he trusts Tyson. Obviously, that's not a sure thing, so he might need this immunity just so one of the girls doesn't get it and throw a monkey wrench in their plans.
And just like that Hayden is the first one out! What is up with that???? That should not have been so hard for him. I know he has a lot more upper body weight that would be pulling him down, but come on Hayden!
Caleb is out next followed by Gervase and Ciera. Katie is out, and then Laura. It comes down to Tyson and Monica. Tyson falls and Monica wins her 2nd individual immunity. They need to watch out for her.
Monica was given the choice to pick one other person to share hamburgers, hotdogs, fries and coke. Instead, she chooses to give up her share to give it to everyone else. Wow, that was crazy.
Pre-Tribal
Ciera tells Katie that Tyson wants her to vote out her mom and that he and Gervase are voting for her. Katie says, "I'm still going to play the idol". Ciera says "you found it:?" And Katie said "yes". Ciera doesn't believe her and says "no you didn't, because I found it". Katie fell right into her trap and said "you did?" Wow, this is craziness! Ciera said that no one else can know "they" have it. Katie says Ciera stole it from her. Whoa, Ciera! Look who's finally starting to play this game. Either Ciera is a really smart and good actress, or Katie is just that stupid to fall for it.
Ciera thinks she can go to Tyson and tell him that she doesn't have the idol, and they can take that opportunity to get her out. She tells the group what she found out, and they think that if they give Laura one vote and the rest of them vote for Katie. If by some chance that Katie did have the idol, it would be a tie and then they could vote her mom out. They sort of agreed, but then Tyson said that Ciera is really starting to play the game and is much smarter than they gave her credit for, so they need to break up Laura and Ciera right away. Caleb, in a confessional, said he would rather vote out Katie because she doesn't have the idol. I think he's a loose cannon...you just never know what he's going to do, and when he's going to just go rogue and do his own thing.
Tribal Council
Side Note: yay, we get to see Aras again :) ...I just wish he was on the other side of the Tribal Council area.

Ciera's parchment had "Mom" in parentheses...wow...that was a tough moment. Gotta give Ciera credit for having the guts to make a big move, and to Laura for taking it like a champ.
