The Bachelorette, Ep. 10.2

19 Bachelors left...

1 on 1 Date: Eric
Andi picks Eric up at the mansion, and they take a drive to the beach. They have fun building sand castles and fly a kite. Eric is very smitten with her. He said his face hurts from smiling so much.

Suddenly, a helicopter lands on the beach and picks them up. They fly around and take in the views, and then land on Bear Mountain. They went from the beach, to a snow-covered mountain. Of course, the obligatory snowball fight ensues.

They get treated to a show by snowboarder Louie Vito (aka, the guy who also was on Dancing with the Stars). He gave them some lessons. Lets just say Andi could use a little more one-on-one. She learned that the best way to stop was to just run into Eric. They looked really cute holding hands and going down the mountain together.

Andi's convinced that he can do everything. He pulled off some sweet moves, and she was very impressed.

The date ended at a cabin for a private dinner. She asked him to name 3 things he was bad at, because she didn't think he would be able to. He did name a couple (playing piano and skiing), but she didn't really believe him. She asked him about his travels and he talked about being in Syria and how scary it was. It got so bad that he wrote a text to his parents because he didn't know if he would make it or not, because they thought he was a spy. Holy crap!

She asked him if he would put aside his quest to visit every country, and he said he would. His ultimate goal in life is to have a family. He knows that his goals that he has right now, he has to do now before he settles down and has a family. He goes on to say that all of his siblings (4) are all married with 3 kids, except one of them has 4. How weird is that?!

I just find him really interesting (much like Andi does). His travels and what he's done, just sound like it's from a movie. I still can't rap my head around the fact that he has passed away.

Obviously, Andi offered him the rose at the end of the night. They followed that with roasting marshmallows in the fireplace.

Did anyone count the number of times Andi said that Eric was hot? Or, how many times during him telling a story about something crazy that's happened to, that she tells him to "stop". I know it was a lot...and it was a little annoying. I mean...can't you come up with anything better to say?

Group Date: Bradley, Brett, Brian, Carl, Cody, Craig, Dylan, Josh, Marcus, Marquel, Nick S., Patrick, Ron, Tasos

Creepiest guy in the group award goes to Craig...what is wrong with that dude?

Andi's date card said "Let's bare our souls". Of course this means that they will be stripping down for charity...oh yeah...and in front of a live audience! They first have to do a little audition, where they did some dancing. Some of them were pretty good.

3 groups will perform along with 2 solo acts:

Firemen: Carl, Brett, Brian, Dylan
Army: Tasos, Ron, Craig, Cody
Cowboys: Craig, Bradley, Marquel, Josh
Robot: Nick
Aviator: Marcus

Creepy Craig thinks Josh has some moves and the whole package. Add him to the "gay" list with Patrick and Andrew. Oh dear no...now he's "stuffing" his um...package. He wants the crowd to go nuts when they get naked.

Cowboys perform first. They all seemed to be having fun. Craig said he doesn't mind taking his shirt off, except for next to Josh, because his body is incredible.

Nick's robot showed Andi a little more than she wanted.

Firemen were up next. Chris Harrison got in on the action and smacked Dylan on the butt. I feel bad for Carl, who actually is a fireman. He's going to be made fun of so badly when he gets home.

Army men are up next, and we really don't see too much of them.

Marcus is up at the aviator. He was really nervous, but he put on a great show and Andi loved it. She was very impressed.

Overall, they all did a great job and didn't hold back. It looks like they made a lot of money for charity.

After the main event, they went to a mansion to hang out. Craig speaks up and wants to make the toast. Shut up Craig!

Brian was the first to pull her away for some alone time. She told him she was impressed by his moves, and she thought he was going to be really nervous. He was a little worried being a teacher, but he did it because it was for charity.

Josh is up next. He wants her to know that she doesn't stereotype him as being just an athlete. She said she's dated a lot of athletes in the past. He said he hasn't gone out with a girl in 5 years, so he is not like the typical stereotype. He tried to convince her that he is shy.

Craig continues to talk, talk and talk. He can't stop talking about Marcus. He now appears to be VERY drunk. This is NOT going to end well...at all. Thank goodness he's going to make this a very easy decision for Andi to get rid of him. At this point, he could go home before the rose ceremony. He might not even make it back to their mansion.

For Bradley's one-on-one, he serenades her with some of his opera. That's not my style at all. Give me a guy with a guitar any day.

Craig decides to track down Andi. He searches the house yelling her name. He finally finds her. First thing he asks her is what she's thought of the other guys so far. She politely jokes "you don't want to know about the other guys." He then asks "who's your favorite". OK dude, that's enough. She jokes and says "you", and he freaks out..."let me give you a hug!" If I was Andi, I would be calling for security at this point, to take this crazy guy away. She tells him he can ask her anything because she's an open book, and he asks "what's the worst thing about your parents?" Seriously?! Who does that? A drunk guy who doesn't know how/when to shut up, that's who.

Nobody can stop him...he just keeps drinking. And then, he interrupts someone who's talking to her. Then he proceeds to jump into the pool with his clothes on. Someone was with him (but in swim trunks), but I couldn't tell who it was. It might have been Nick.

Let's just say that this guy is now ruining the whole evening, for everyone. The Producers actually stepped in and took him home. Andi is now wondering how something like that happened, and whether she's doing the right thing by being there. She is hoping that they are doing things for the right reasons.

Marcus swoops in and takes her mind off of the Craig craziness. She told him that he is someone who is in the background, but she definitely notices him.

Marquel realized that by letting some of the other guys have their time, and then the whole Craig craziness...that he didn't get to have any one-on-one time with her. Oops.

Group date rose goes to: Marcus, for stepping up and handling the pressure with a lot of humility

1 on 1 Date: Chris
This means that Andrew, JJ and Nick V do not get to go on any dates this week

They're off to the races...the horse races that is. This should be a good date for him, being a farmer and all. She is dressed like she's from the 40s (on purpose, I guess). Meanwhile, Chris is a little underdressed, but she takes him to get some other clothes.

They preview the horses and decide which ones they want to bet on. Her horse ended up winning.

At the race, an older couple strikes up conversation with them. They ask how long they've been together, and Andi said it was their first date. The couple has been together for 55 years. They get some advice on how to know someone is the right one, and how to make the relationship last.

In the evening, they go somewhere to talk. She told him that the date was refreshing, especially after last night's date. He talks about being engaged once, and how it didn't work out. He proposed, but didn't really feel it in his gut. He was thinking with his head instead of his heart. He knows better now...after talking to the old couple, apparently.

She is really impressed with him opening up, and she loves his attitude throughout the date, so she offers him a rose.

She has one more surprise for him, and it is a private concert by This Wild Life...never heard of them. During the performance, Andi shares her first kiss with not only Chris, but with anyone.

Cocktail Party
She meets up with Nick V., who didn't have a date this week. He brought her a date card that said "let's get things poppin'". They popped open some champagne and he wanted to ask her about what she hasn't found yet and what she's looking for. They found that they both share the same philosophy of holding out until you find someone who is right for them and not just good.

Marquel gets some time with Andi. First of all, what is he wearing? Striped socks and a checkered shirt with a flowered/camo tie? Weird combo.

Andi and Josh talk, and he goes overboard telling her how nervous she makes him, and how he feels something for her that he's never felt for anyone else. He literally can't talk, but he has diarrhea of the mouth and just can't stop talking. He's blushing so much! He weirdly put his hand over her face, hoping that would make him less nervous. The only thing to shut him up was for her to kiss him.

Andi comes into the room with several guys, including Craig. She hugs a guy, and he says "I want a hug too!" He asks to talk to her alone, and he apologizes for the other night, and along with the apology, he pulls out a guitar and starts to sing a song about how he messed up the other night and had too much to drink, yada yada yada. "I hope it's alright Andi. Please let me stay..." Oh boy...and he's so excited to hopefully get a rose! Yeah, I don't think that's happening.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations: Carl, Craig, Nick S.
Remaining Guys (16): Andrew, Bradley, Brett, Brian, Chris, Cody, Dylan, Eric, JJ, Josh, Marcus, Marquel, Nick V., Patrick, Ron, Tasos

Note: looks like it might have been Nick who was in the pool after all, with Craig...judging by the fact that he got eliminated also.
