Survivor, Ep. 28.13: Finale

I can't believe it's time for the Finale already! This has been such an awesome season, and I'm sad it's ending. I'm excited to see how these last 3 Tribal Council's play out. Everyone cross your fingers for Spencer! It's going to take a miracle, I think, for him to make it to the Final 2. If he makes it there, I think he wins easily against Kass or Woo. The battle with Tony would be a lot closer. I think the likelihood that both Spencer and Tony, the most deserving 2, actually make it to the Final 2 is very, very slim. The first person to lose immunity, I'm sure will be out. Will they believe Tony's lie about being able to still use his Special Idol?

Here we go! (And...I apologize right now if this post is extremely long, and if I get either really upset or get really excited...depending on how things go. I just hope it kind of makes sense, because I don't have time to go through and re-proofread, and re-watch the jury question section...I'm just going to do the best I can to type fast and catch as much of what happens as possible).

After Tribal
Tony is outed for voting for Trish. Tony said he didn't feel good about it because she did nothing wrong. He had to do it because she played such a clean game, and it wasn't safe to go against her in the end. Spencer is worried about Tony's Special Idol. He refuses to tell them anything about the special powers. He's basically saying he is guaranteed the Final 3.

Solarrion Camp
More whining, Kass...really? Kass is always the victim. Tony says that she got the last laugh, and she should basically just let it go. Why waste energy worrying about someone who isn't there any more.

A boat pulls up to their beach, and it's their family members! Bet you didn't think they were going to bring loved ones this season! Spencer's sister, Kass's husband, Woo's cousin and Tony's best friend. Tony was sad his wife couldn't be there. She couldn't leave their 4-month-old. He was so sad when his friend was telling him about how much his baby has grown. That was kind of nice to see such an emotional side from him. Even Kass broke her stern face and shed a few tears upon seeing her husband.

Kass tells her husband that she has played like a man. Ha!

Woo can envision himself winning the million, and then proposing to his girlfriend...with her mom and dad's permission, of course. Such a gentleman...I think!

Immunity Challenge

The loved ones will be watching them participate in the challenge, instead of participating.

Challenge: stand on a perch in the water, pull buckets of water up and pour them down a narrow shoot to raise a key to unlock puzzle pieces

"Jeff this is no joke", says Tony! The wind is so strong!

Kass is in last...no surprise. Tony is very calm and is getting a lot of water in his shoot each time. Spencer an Tony are both very close. Tony is the first one to get the key. Jeff told him to jump in, and Tony said he couldn't because he didn't know how to swim. What?!

One final pour and Spencer inched and inched to get his key, and just barely got it. Even though Tony was first, he had to climb down and somehow Spencer caught up and passed him at the beach! Whoa! Woo is now in it, and Kass is still pouring.

My heart is pounding for Spencer...come on Spencer! Tony is now trying to copy Spencer's puzzle.

Kass was so far out, but she makes it to the puzzle and what the heck, she's putting a bunch of pieces in, and she's right back in it. Oh no! It's now between Kass and Spencer. Do not let her win this Spencer!

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kass. just. won. immunity. What the heck just happened? She was so far out of it. Spencer choked and he is now dead. I am in absolute shock. He lost to a "braindead weasel like Kass". Ha! Classic Spencer. Can he possibly manage to make it out of another dead end?

Before Tribal
Spencer tells Tony that it's going to be a Final 2. He knows because of what Probst said about Kass making the Final 3...he didn't say "and a chance to plead your case for $1 million". Spencer says that Kass will take Woo and Woo will take Kass. He wants to make Tony see that it makes the most sense to keep Spencer around. Spencer knows that the vote at Final 4, if it's a tie, is a fire-making challenge. Cut to Woo, trying to figure out what happens at the Final 4...he can't remember if they draw rocks or if it's the jury? What?

This is going to be an absolutely crazy Tribal!

Tribal Council
Oh great, Kass showing some human emotion. Jeff asked about her comeback, and she said she was afraid to jump off the pole, but heard her husband...sniff, sniff. What a show for the jury.

Oh man, I wish that Spencer wouldn't be talking about a Final 2 in front of Woo and Kass.

Spencer says in front of everyone, that he will take Tony to the end and he would tell the jury not to vote for him in the end if he goes against his word.

Woo tries to say that he's been an instrumental part of the big moves that have happened. Really? Not sure about that.

Kass comes right out and says that she thinks that she has a better chance taking Woo to the Final 2...prompting Tony to say "oh shnap! oh shnap!"

Right before Jeff reads the votes, Tony says "this idol can be played after the votes are read....but only at the final 5", so he played his idol, by wearing it around his neck because it's absolutely worthless.

The Votes
Spencer
Woo
Spencer
Spencer

Nooooooooo! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Tony is so screwed if he doesn't win immunity. My fear of a Kass/Woo Final 2 is looking like more of a reality. And that reality sucks the big one!

After Tribal
They finally realize that one of them is going home next. Duh! Kass is sure that either Woo or Tony will take her to the Final 2 because they think they can beat her. I'm sure she's right. But if Tony wins immunity, he beats either of them hands down. Woo said he'd be the stupidest Survivor player ever if he took Tony to the end...but he would also be the most brave :)

Final Immunity
Challenge: collect 4 medallions while going through a maze, the medallions open a chest that have cogs that they have to put together so they turn to raise the flag.

Go Tony...do NOT screw this up! Thank goodness it's not a sliding puzzle!

Woo follows Tony wherever he goes. Kass is now on her 2nd medallion. Oh crap...this is not good.

Tony and Woo are completely lost. I give up...this is hopeless. Why now...of all times...does she have to start to get good?

Everybody has 2 medallions. Kass gets her 3rd and Tony whispers "how'd she get 3 already?" Oh...no...this is looking worse and worse all the time. Kass is now on the one that was giving Tony and Woo trouble at the beginning.

Woo has #4, and Woo has separated and left Tony in the dust. Kass can't get to her 4th. Tony gets #4 and he and Tony are both looking for the way out.

Woo gets to the chest first, and Tony is close behind. Kass is now at her chest.

I seriously can't watch this right now. Tony cannot lose this! Please...he has to make the Final 2! It's not a good place to be because Tony has never won an individual immunity. Woo is down to only 2 pieces, and so is Kass. Tony is so screwed.

Woo wins! Kass was just seconds behind. You've got to be kidding me. Bye bye Tony.

Before Tribal
OK, time for Tony to work some voodoo magic on his little gullible buddy Woo.

Tony says he wants to be subtle and plant some seeds, and hope that something catches. He talks about Woo's been loyal to Tony, which is what he did well. If he takes Kass, he's no longer loyal, and he can't use that as an argument. He said Kass has stories and she can talk a good game because of the "moves" she made. If he takes her, he loses.

Kass says that everyone has been saying that they can beat her...even Tony. She asked him why he would change his story now. Kass said that if she goes to Jury, she will vote for Tony because he played the better game.

Gotta hand it to both Tony and Kass because they both talk an extremely good and convincing game!

Kass hates that someone who hasn't had to make a decision this whole game, is now deciding her fate.

Woo tells them both of them that he would think about what they said. He would like to go to the end with Tony because he started the game with him. Being loyal is very important to who he is, and if he goes against that now, he's a big hypocrite. I sure hope he sticks with that logic.

Tribal Council
Lots of talk about final strategy and final pitches.

Woo "You mind if I go off subject?" Ha! He doesn't want to answer Jeff's question and he doesn't want to hear any more from either Tony or Kass. Wow!

Woo casts the only vote and it is for......KASS!!! I was really worried that Woo was actually going to make the "smart" move (for himself) and take Kass. Whew! Dodged a bullet there! Classic Woo! But seriously, his only argument in this game is loyalty, and Tony was 100% right, if he didn't take Tony, his only argument was shot. He now can also say that he chose to play against the stronger player and not take the easy way out by bringing Kass. I'm extremely sad about a Final 2 that doesn't include Spencer...however...Tony being there salvages the season. Tony deserves to be in that final. I totally respect him for choosing to go against the best and also keep true to his loyalty to Tony. So proud of you Woo! You might not win the $1 million, but at least you can feel good about yourself.

After Tribal
They get a feast, and neither of them know how to cook very well. Ha!

Tony! Even now, he's still playing the game, and he sees a note and he discretely puts it in his pocket. He sneaks off and reads it and it tells him to go to the back of the camp. There is a mirror and a scale. What? This is a first! He weighs himself and he lost 21 pounds.

Woo's reaction: "Damn, I look good! Look at my mustache!" Haha! Another classic Woo moment!

Final Tribal
Bring it on! There are some disgruntled, blindsided jury members who I'm sure can't wait to let Tony have it (even though they will vote for him in the end).

Opening Statements
Tony: He knows he's got a lot of explaining to do, and he will answer their questions truthfully. Everything he did was based on strategy and wasn't personal. He also thanked Woo for taking a chance on taking him.

Woo: He put forth an effort to honor the 5 codes of conduct of tai kwon do. He never gave up, and used his mom's illness as strength to keep going.

Juror Questions

Sarah: Tony--"What does your badge mean to you?" She doesn't know if she can write his name down. She asks Woo if she played the same game, who would he vote for? He said he would vote for her.

Jefra: Wants Tony to own up and admit to all the bad things he did.He threw it back at her for wanting to backstab him first. He says he owns up to it, but he's half-villain and half-strategic to save his game.

Morgan: She talks about knowing she's young and beautiful and she wants to know how he got the men to follow him without boobs. He said he tried to get better all the time, and that's why they stuck with him. She tells Woo that she respects his decision to not bring a goat to the final 2.

Jeremiah: He wants to know if he really has a wife and kid that he keeps swearing on. Tony said he does and Jeremiah said where he's from that you don't do that.

Tasha: She wanted to know how he kept his alliance even though he lied to them and didn't keep them in the loop. He said Trish is the only one he broke a promise to first. She asks Woo what he did to stay in the game, and he said he had to adapt because he wasn't in the original alliance with Tony.

LJ: He wants to know who Tony is. Tony said he was petrified of LJ, so he looked for any reason he could to get him out.

Kass: Woo as the boss, why didn't he cut the head off the dragon. She said he didn't make the move that could have won him the money. He said he was trying to be honorable and bring someone who deserved to be there. He said that he didn't think Kass deserved to sit there next to him as much as Tony did.

Trish: She asked who's idea it was to blindside her. Woo said it was his and he said he didn't think any of them had a chance to win against her. She told Tony that the only reason he was there was because of her. She put out little flames for him because no one trusted him...they trusted her. She constantly stuck up for him and he swore on his father's grave to her. She got so emotional saying she would never go back on a swear on her brother's graves. She asked if it was worth it to sacrifice his own father. She said "I don't want excuses!" Whoa! I didn't think Trish would be that emotional! His answer was..."yes".

Spencer: Woo was a good dog and was loyal to his owner. Ha! Spencer said as a student of the game, he would expect him to take a goat like Kass to the end. Spencer addresses the jury and says Tony was behind all of the strategic moves. He was the puppet master and he played with the ferocity that the game rarely sees. He implores them to vote for the only player there who actually played the game. You go Spencer! Nice speech! If any of them were wavering...they have to consider what he just said, because he is 100% right. I sure hope this isn't a bitter jury and they do the right thing.

The Votes For The Win
Tony
Woo
Tony
Tony
Tony
Tony

Woohoo! Tony is so deserving of this win. If it couldn't be the comeback kid, Spencer, then it absolutely HAD to be Tony! I have to give it up for Woo, though. Not only did he honor his commitment to Tony, but he did so knowing it might cost him the money. He was more articulate than we have heard him all season, and he actually had a somewhat legitimate argument, that with some juries might have gotten him the win. Before tonight I didn't think he had a prayer, but he did well for himself, he should be proud.

Reunion Show Hi-lights
We find out that Tony's wife couldn't be there because she is on bed rest and is pregnant with their 2nd child. Whoa! They don't waste any time do they?

Tony said he lost 45 pounds! He said the Survivor scale was wrong. He said after he got home, it was in some pretty bad shape.

Relationship recap: Tony and Trish are fine. Tony and Kass are fine. Sarah forgave Tony, but they aren't talking any more

We even got to hear Tony speak llama to Kass again!

Jeff asks him about lying and swearing on his badge. His fellow cops know why he was on the show, and they don't take any offense to what he did. Then we find out that Tony saved his neighbor's life when he collapsed and they did CPR and he's fine now. Way to go Tony!

Informal Poll: If Woo takes Kass, who votes for Woo? Just about all of them (if not all of them)

Spencer--how cute does he look tonight? He said that if he would have showed Jefra his immunity idol, she might have joined their side, and things could have turned out differently.

Public Apology to Spencer: Jeff told him at casting that he had no chance of winning. He said it was so unlikely that he would win, that the only way he could win is if he was sitting next to a clone of himself at the end. Spencer told him in casting that if he won, he would have to write him a letter and read it on the live finale show. Well, Spencer obviously didn't win, but Jeff wrote him a letter on Day 15 and mailed it back to the US. He then presented Spencer with the unopened envelope. Jeff said he has never been so wrong about anyone on the show before.

Cliff says Survivor is harder than basketball, and he would definitely play again.

Garrett was shocked how he fell apart physically and mentally.

J'Tia-she would still dump your rice

LJ-yay...he looks cute again! I was starting to worry about him. When he got voted out and we saw what was underneath that hat...let's just say, it was not cute. Even once he got cleaned up...he looked so old! But tonight? It looks like he got hair plugs, because where his hair was thinning very weirdly...now he's got nice beautiful hair!

Season 29: Blood vs. Water San Juan Del Sur...but (even though they didn't say it), reputable sources are saying that it's an all new cast...not previous Survivors and their loved ones.
