BBUK 15: Week 7 Recap

Week 7 in the BBUK house...

Kim
Eviction night, Kim wasn't feeling very well. Big Brother allowed her to leave to see a doctor. And then the biggest shocker of the 2-night eviction...KIM IS NOT COMING BACK! Whoa! Never expected that! Or...maybe we shouldn't be that surprised. I think she might be running away from Steven...using her illness as an out. I don't think she knows what to do about him and the guy she left back home. Big Brother first tells them that she is not coming back that night, but eventually, she decides not to return at all. Steven was in shock. He put on his shades so people wouldn't see him cry. He felt like he should be with her to comfort her while she is sick.

Big Brother made an exception for Steven and allowed him to talk to Kim in the hospital. He said he almost walked out. She said if he did that, she would slap him.

Copy That

Team A vs. Team B

Team A: Zoe, Steven, Helen, Ash, Ashleigh
Team B: Chris, Mark, Pav, Winston
Christopher serves as the umpire

Each team has to attempt something they don't think the other team will attempt.

Round 1--Props: Steven vs. Winston
Winston waxes himself...down there...and his legs and armpits. And then he did the hula hoop.
Steven did his part and copied...painfully. He then took a razor and shaved his head!!! The best part was watching and listening to Ash on the sidelines howling and screaming in a high-pitched voice "Stop!!" lol! But wait...Christopher the umpire says that Steven didn't hula hoop, so he was NOT successful! What a bummer! All that for nothing.

Round 2--Honesty: Helen vs. Pav
They have to say who the most 2-faced person is and try to outdo each other with their honesty.
Helen says Chris. Pav says Chris also, and pretty much just copies Helen's answer. Christopher said that Pav had the opportunity to watch from the outside and should have been more decisive. So, Helen wins Round 2.
\
Round 3--Food: Ash vs. Chris
Ash has to eat mayonnaise, jellied eels, dog food, butter, and more. He bravely tried them all. His eyes were watering and the bucket was used often. The people on the sidelines were cringing and gagging. Chris easily scarfed down the dog food, but had some trouble with the rest.

Christopher declares that Team A is the winner

Later, Helen attempts to fix Steven's hair. It was too bad to save, so they went for it all! Big Brother didn't waste any time calling all of Team B to the Diary Room.

Team A is treated to a banquet, while Team B goes hungry. Team B intruded and stole some of their food.
They all tied to deny it and claim ignorance. Their punishment was to sit on the naughty step! Mark didn't learn his lesson and later snuck some more food and tried to hide from the cameras. He was sent back to the naughty step...but grabbed another bite first. He's too funny! Then he got mad at Christopher because he left him alone on the naughty step. "I'll remember this", he says.

Battle of the Bands
Mark and Zoe are chosen by the group to be the leaders, and they get to choose their bands. They will get an hour to put together their performances.
Mark chooses: Steven, Helen, Winston, Chris
Zoe chooses: Pav, Ash, Ashleigh, Christopher

Mark's team names themselves: The Bitch & The Boys
Zoe's team names themselves: One Big Voice (1BV)

The Bitch & The Boys will be singing: The Killers "Mr. Brightside"
One Big Voice will be singing: Florence and the Machines "You've Got The Love"

Zoe obviously takes charge of her team and all of the choreography since she has the most experience. Chris has a lot of ideas for his team and puts them through some vocal exercises, and Winston shows off what he can do with his voice.

1BV is first. With Zoe doing most of the work, they all seem like her background singers. At least they can all help with the dancing. Christopher seems the most out of his element.

Mark starts off the vocals for The Bitch & The Boys, and he's not doing half bad. This is a tough song for anyone to sing. Helen had the next verse, and she wasn't too bad. Steven followed, and he also did a pretty good job. Then came Chris and then Winston. Oh Winston. He gave it the most, but it didn't sound too good. As a whole, they were actually pretty good. They didn't have a lot of choreography, but they sounded good. I like that they were all featured and had parts, whereas the other group was all Zoe and you couldn't really even hear the others. And they looked like they were having more fun than the other group, too.

Big Brother informs them that The Bitch & The Boys were the winners! As their reward, they get VIP passes to the after party. There are 2 extra passes that they get to give to the other team.  They choose Zoe and Ash.

Ashleigh In Power
The public has chosen her to have the power. She can't believe why she got picked. She is also told that she will be immune from the vote. She has to choose 1 other player, in secret, to form an alliance with her and will also be immune. She chose to work with Chris because he is her closest friend in the house and they share the same views about the other housemates. After choosing Chris, Big Brother tells her to consult with Chris, about adding another housemate to their alliance. They choose Mark. The funny thing is that Mark was reading his tea leaves earlier and he thought he saw his face in the tea leaves, as being in power.

To help with nominations, they get to talk to Bianca, Danielle and Matthew.

Nominations:
Steven
Ash
Pav
Zoe

They knew they wanted to keep Christopher safe because he has been up so many times, and he's a loyal friend to all of them. That didn't leave too many others left. Bianca, Danielle and Matthew told them to really watch out for Pav and Zoe, saying they were real gameplayers. That's why they chose them.

The house had speculated all week who was nominating, and if it was the house or the public. After all nominations were revealed...so was the Power Alliance. Needless to say, the house was shocked.

The Nominees were then told to choose amongst themselves someone to save. Then they would pick someone from the Power Alliance to take their place.

They choose to save Ash, and they replace her with Ashleigh. All of the Power Alliance volunteered to go up in Ash's place. They all agreed that Ash would probably be going this week and Zoe shouldn't have to worry because she has gotten a lot of cheers.

The Power Alliance had to answer A LOT of questions to defend their choices.

Shopping Task
Red Team: Winston, Mark, Helen, Ash, Ashleigh
Blue Team: Steven, Pav, Zoe, Christopher, Chris

The Red Team is told the real game...it will be rigged for them to win every time. The last head-to-head challenge will not be rigged. The thought is that they will be so upset from losing every time that they will really want to win the last task. If the Blue Team loses the last task, the whole house will win a luxury budget. for the week.

Challenge 1: connect pipes to get the water flowing the whole way through
--Red doesn't have to do anything, the pipes are already connected for them. They shout like they are completing the task, but aren't actually doing anything. They did have to make themselves dirty to make it more believable. They then get to watch on the monitor to see them trying. Big Brother has made it impossible for their pipes to connect.

The Red Team earns a pampering reward for "winning".

Challenge 2: crack the code
--The Blue Team doesn't have a correct code, and the Red Team arranges theirs and are immediately told theirs is correct. The same thing went for each word they were given.

I really feel bad for the Blue team!

Challenge 3: Ashleigh (red) vs. Christopher (blue)
They are given a series of quotes, and they have to guess who said them. Ashleigh will be given the correct answer in a secret earpiece.

Red Team won 5-4 and they won a special birthday party for Pav. Helen is upset because she claims she didn't say any of the things she was accused of (even though we are shown clips of her saying each thing). She and Mark think that Ashleigh was wearing an earpiece and that they were given false answers.

Challenge 4: Keeping Cool
The housemate who's heart rate raises faster loses. Again it's rigged so only the Red Team can win.

The challenges included being scared, aroused, getting personal.

Final Challenge
Colored water/goo is rigged above each person. They have to plug it with their hand. The last one dry will win it for their team. This is the challenge that is not rigged.

Steven is the first one out, followed by Helen and Ashleigh. Blue now has more still in it. Chris is out, then Christopher, Mark, Zoe and Ash, and then Pav. Leaving Winston (red) the last one left. Pav basically left Winston win. I'm not sure why. Either way, that means the whole house wins the luxury budget.

Eviction
The 9th eviction of the season is Steven. Was anyone surprised? He's gotten the most boos of anyone left, so I think everyone knew he would be next. I think secretly, he's happy to be out because he just hasn't been the same since Kimberly left.
