Eviction Reactions
Everyone is still reeling from Caleb's eviction. He was seen as one of the nicest people in the house and everyone was sad to see him go...especially Matt. What made it worse (in their eyes) was that Tim did NOT go home. Some of the people met together in the kitchen and had a "mutiny meeting", in order to try to get Tim out.
Nominations
This week, they will write their nominations on paper in the Diary Room instead of the chamber. Big Brother also informs them that they will only be allowed to only nominate for strategy.
When Caleb was voted out, he gave Matt this week's superpower. His superpower is the Shreader. He will have the power to shred 2 of the housemates nominations. He will be able to look at all of the votes. The tough part is that people have all written 2 names on 1 paper, so he has to be willing to sacrifice both names on the ballot. His first shred is the one with his name on it, and it also had Katie & Lucy on it (Drew's ballot). His second shred was the one that had his name on it as well as Ed's (Ben's vote).

Because Drew gave Matt 3 points and Ben nominated Ed for 3 points, they should easily be able to figure out that their votes were shredded. Yikes! That one vote for Drew with 4 points did him in! I'm actually surprised that some more people didn't vote for him. There are several strategic reasons they could have: he's such a nice guy, his relationship with Tim and his relationship with Tully, and the fact that he is really flying under the radar. However...I'm glad that most people haven't figured this out and have other targets...for now anyway. I'm hoping people wake up this week and get rid of Tully! Come on Australia...save Tim!
Battle of the Bands
For this week's task, they are broken into 2 groups (guys vs. girls) and they will produce a song and video that the public will vote. The songs have been written for them and all they have to do the vocals.The winning group will perform their winning single live on the eviction show.
The guys' band name is ManDate and the girls' group is Hot Pantz. Big Brother splits them up so they must even sleep in different rooms (guys in the old Half-Way house bedroom and girls in the main bedroom). Tully of course was sad to be losing her cuddle-mate. Like Tim said "It's not like we're moving to another country!" They are split up so they have a private place where they can practice. The guys take it seriously and say "no girls allowed"...at all! They decide to barely talk or "fraternize" with the girls, which makes Tully mad. "So, you can't be my friend this week?"
Big Brother puts a recording studio inside the house. The girls are up first, and the guys do their best to spy while the girls are practicing. None of the girls really stood out as being really good. They are going to have trouble harmonizing, I think.
The guys get to working on their image. They said if they were a real boy band, Drew would be the bad boy, Matt would be the sexy one, Ben would be the nerd one. Just hearing the songs run through once, I think the guys got the better song. Drew is really good! Ed and Matt, not so much. But the biggest surprise is Ben! Ben is really good!
During recording, each housemate got to go into the recording booth and record their vocals.

Heidi wasn't bad, but she kept messing up before she was done
Tully was OK, but she was a little monotone
Jade was really good! I like her voice a lot; she sounded a little like Jessica Simpson
Katie and Lucy got the shaft--they were basically the background "all right" girls; I think they would have been good singing more of the song
Tahan was not so good, she was really flat

Drew did a lot of screaming, when he wasn't shouting it was pretty good
Tim "I missed it!" He was pretty good, but he kept missing his cues
Matt had trouble with the words
Ed was decent but was kind of flat
Ben was so adorable and nervous, but he was so good! He got all the words and was right on pitch!
I think the guys are going to win this, if not for Ben alone.
Battle of the Bands Videos
Big Brother provides outfits for each group as well as styling tips for each of their looks.
Each group is provided a camera to record clips of themselves for the video. They are hilarious! Especially the guys...they are awesome, and I'm definitely a fan.
The guys perform for the girls, and they are totally believable as a boy band! Love it! Then it's the girls' turn. The guys definitely liked their performance, I wasn't as impressed with theirs.
Matt's Birthday
So many birthdays in this house! They are only 30+ days in and there have been like 4, plus Tim's fake birthday. It was Matt's 28th birthday, and all the girls decided to give him a massage at the same time. One lucky boy!
For his birthday, Big Brother threw him a super hero party...how cool! Matt was Super Matt, Drew was the Scorpion, Tim is Broccoli Boy, Jade was the Dark Shadow, Ben was Super Ben (not real original), Ed was Captain Ed, Heidi was Super Fairy, Tahan was Wonder Woman.
Voting History
For the first time ever, an election was called during the Big Brother season. They will be given the opportunity to vote as well as the rest of the country.
Showdown
It came down to Ed and Mikkayla, and it's Mikkayla for the win! As a teacher, she did very well answering the questions. Wow, that is so crazy! She has been nominated every week, and now can save herself for is it the 4th or 5th time now? That is just unheard of. She is really using up all of her 9 lives.
Mikkayla wins a night in the Presidential Suite along with the power to save herself. She picks Heidi to share the night in the Presidential Suite and she chooses Ben as her replacement.
Of course Tully managed to make it about her and was mad at Mikkayla for not thanking her for hitting her ball and making it closest to the pole, which made her the winner.
Day of Firsts
Big Brother calls one person to the Diary Room. Ed decides to go. As a result, he is the winner, in "Day of Firsts". He will get to do everything first for this day only. First to use the bathroom, first to sit in each chair, first to make his bed, etc. He gets to be one of the first people in Australia to try KFC's Zinger Pie.
Hair Dye
Mikkayla helps dye Katie's hair. Somehow, Katie's hair turns green. Lucy assures her that she will do hers too. Mikkayla feels horrible, even though Katie didn't freak out about it. Tahan however, found it hilarious!
Battle of the Bands Voting Results
The cumulative number of hits in 24 hours was 101, 669! They passed the task! The winner was Hot Pantz! I'm a little shocked, I really thought it would be the girls.
Magic Happens!
Drew and Tim put on a magic show for the rest of the housemates. It was hysterical! Tim does the pea under a cup trick..."messes it up" but shows oranges under the other 2 cups! They also did a trick where a big spoon magically appears, and then is replaced by the big fork.
Mr. & Miss Big Brother
They had a pageant complete with swimsuit and question/answer competitions.

Winner - Ed!
Miss Big Brother:
3rd Runner up - Heidi
2nd Runner up - Tully
Winner - Tahan
-Tim wanted them to all pick Tahan because it would make all the other girls mad and they would all get into a cat fight. It worked. Jade, Mikkayla and the Sugar Sisters were upset that she won, because she was the one who wanted to do the pageant, thinking that she would win the whole time.

Heidi is evicted! So close to getting Tully out this week! I'm surprised that Tim and Ben were so close in votes. They said there was only 23 votes between them! Wow, that's close!
The house was socked. Poor Tim was pretty upset, and he went into the bedroom by himself, and there was a tear in his eye. Some real emotion from the jokester. And of course Tully was a sobbing mess. She wasn't even that close to her. And Drew looked like he was crying...but I don't know if it's because Tully almost went or because he is really going to miss Heidi.
Nomination Super Power
Heidi chooses to give the Nomination Super Power to Drew! Yay! That is so awesome of you Heidi! She said Drew is one of her favorite people in there! I wonder why it didn't really seem that way when she was in the house.
