Dancing With The Stars, Ep. 19.3 & 19.4

Week 2 Theme: My Jam Monday

Randy & Karina -- ChaCha
Randy's Jam: "Satisfaction"
He might not be a one-trick pony...he's got some Latin swivel hips! His smooth moves were kind of a surprise in the Foxtrot last week, and this week, I thought he might be more stiff, but sure enough, he pulled out some good stuff.
Score: 28

Janel & Val -- Foxtrot
Janel's Jam: "Call Me Maybe"
I love this funky and upbeat kind of song for what is usually such a boring and old style. Val made it really cute and fun. I loved it! And of course, she was fabulous. I don't think she will have a bad routine for as long as she's in the competition.
Score: 34

Lea & Artem -- Jive
Lea's Jam: "Land of 1000 Dances"
Look at her go! I can't believe she was able to move that fast! That was actually really good.
Score: 35

Michael & Emma -- Samba
Michael's Jam: "Girls in Bikinis"
Not surprisingly, he is building on his comedy factor. He's in trouble if he thinks he's as good as Bill Engvall. Bill was funny, but he could also dance. Michael's got a long way to go. There wasn't a whole lot of content to the dance, and I don't think I saw any truly Samba-like moves (as Carrie Ann also pointed out).
Score: 24

Tavis & Sharna -- ChaCha
Tavis's Jam: "Boogie Wonderland"
This wasn't too bad actually. The big afro wig was kind of scary though. She went pretty easy on the choreography since he had so much going on this week and didn't have time to rehearse it very much. Unfortunately, that's just an excuse, and others are putting in the time with less whining than he did.
Score: 28

Alfonso & Witney -- Samba
Alfonso's Jam: "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It"
A Will Smith song! Awesome! I don't know what he was so worried about in rehearsals, because he totally nailed this! He is just so amazing! I love watching him move! Can't say anything else...just awesome. Bruno said it best, he has so much charisma! He has his own style, and no one moves quite like him.
Score: 32

Bethany & Derek -- Foxtrot
Bethany's Jam: "All About That Bass"
Great song choice! This suits her personality very well. Of course Derek brings out a bass as a prop, and dances with it! So THAT's why he had an Instagram picture with a bass in the rehearsal. This dance was so cute, and so creative. Another fun Foxtrot because of a modern song.
Score: 33

Betsey & Tony -- Foxtrot
Betsey's Jam: "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"
Another perfect song choice for her. She looks so pretty tonight! Tony was right, he made her look polished and professional instead of like the ugly duckling. She had some beautiful moves, and that leg grab at the end was ridiculous! She is 72, how does she move like that! What an inspiration! I haven't seen Tony so happy or so proud in a long time.
Score: 28

Antonio & Cheryl -- Rumba
Antonio's Jam: "Adorn"
Who didn't think he was going to look amazing doing the Rumba? Seriously. Those 2 are hot, hot, hot. It was super sexy, and he didn't even have to take his shirt off.
Score: 31

Tommy & Peta -- Salsa
Tommy's Jam: "Higher"
How can you not have fun watching Tommy? He just has so much fun out there. And he's got moves to back up the comedy. He's a true double threat. And then he pulls out the big guns...or abs...that is! Impressive! I continue to be impressed with him.
Score: 28

Jonathan & Allison -- ChaCha
Jonathan's Jam: "Sing"
Love this song! He definitely brought the sexy for this one! It was so good! I loved his little solo bit. Great choreography for such a fun routine. I sort of agree with the judges that there maybe wasn't a whole lot of ChaCha content.
Score: 30

Sadie & Mark -- Jazz
Sadie's Jam: "She's Country"
Everyone knows my feeling about country, but I LOVED this routine! Mark was a genius to be able to put together that country song with the jazz style. Holy crap! How cool was that?! This girl has got something special. She has so much personality, and it totally comes through. I love how she is so comfortable with herself, and she just goes for it. So incredible.
Score: 31
