Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 1.6: Finale

Date #1: Marcus & Lacy
Does Marcus really need another date? We all know he's obviously choosing Lacy. I don't think they really need any more time to get to know each other...they're practically married already.

Their date takes them to a huge hole in the ground with a ladder. Lacy makes Marcus goes first. Lacy gets a tutorial from someone off camera on how to say stalactites and stalagmites. I don't think she ever got it.

Later, they get to a pool of water and then are swarmed by...bats! Now that's romantic!

After they make it out alive, they talk about facing fears, and how they went through a whole cave under the ground. Lacy said it was so natural, and then they sit down on a totally "natural" nature sofa in the middle of the jungle. It is here that Lacy finally tells Marcus that she loves him...as the monkeys watch their every move.

Cody & Michelle

Michelle is still freaking out that Cody told her that he loved her and that he wants his next girlfriend to be his wife. She told Jesse that she is worried that Cody is going to smother her. She doesn't it find it attractive when guys just want to hang all over her. She is freaking out because they've only known each other for a week and she doesn't know if he even knows anything about her.

Michelle talks to Cody and she's thinking that she might have to break up with him. He said he knows he's scaring her by saying that he wants her to meet his family. He said he just wants her to know what he's feeling, but he's willing to be patient and go at her pace. She said she loves his honesty and she wants him to always be honest, because she doesn't want to play games.

New Arrival: Brooks
Brooks (from Des's season) enters. Sarah has always found him attractive, and she wanted him to be there. But...she is loving her relationship with Robert. She and Robert have done a lot of kissing right up until Brooks arrived. Now she's really confused. Brooks said he's met Sarah once before and in coming here, she was the one that caught his eye. Right away, Robert came and put his arms around Sarah, to kind of "claim" her. Robert wants to talk to Brooks and he said "if you ask her I will kill you'. Wow! Zack was also in on the conversation, and he didn't say quite the same thing to Brooks about Jackie. So, he asks Jackie if she would like to go on the date, and she immediately said yes. Zack is now upset with himself that he didn't make the same comment to Brooks to make Jackie "off-limits" as well.

Date #2: Brooks & Jackie
They go to the Casa Banana in the downtown area. They don't even get their own private area in the restaurant, there are other people all around. Brooks impresses Jackie with speaking fluent Spanish to the waiter.

They are really cute as they are deciding what to order. After a few minutes, he was really mesmerized by how cute she is. He admitted to looking at her and not even listening to what she was saying.

This restaurant has a foosball table (which is kind of weird). They decide to play, and Brooks says if he wins, she has to give him a kiss. She said she doesn't really kiss on the first date, and he said, OK, just on the lips. Ha! She ended up beating him, and he gave her a kiss on the cheek as prompted by the cheering crowd that was watching them.

I actually think they're really cute together.

Back at the house, Zack is upset because he hasn't gotten a date with Jackie yet, and he's still wishing he would have tried to claim her so Brooks wouldn't have asked her out on the date.

Sarah & Robert
Sarah can think of nothing but Brooks. Brooks Brooks Brooks. Oh yeah, and Brooks. She wanted him to be there so badly, and now he's here, but she's with Robert. She decided that the way she is feeling about Brooks, she has to break up with Robert.

She goes to her bed and finds a note from Robert and he wanted her to meet him on the beach. He had set up a little area for them, and she was blown away that he would do something so sweet.

She asked him what he wanted for after the show was over. He said he wants to take her out and see where things go. She now thinks that Brooks being there has shown that Robert is the guy for her. Funny...just a little while ago, she was going to break up with him, and now she's pretty sure she's in love with Robert.

Jesse & Christy
Christy still thinks Jese is such a great guy...until Michelle tells her that Jesse is telling the other guys about the sexual things he has been doing with Lucy and with Christy. It didn't take long for her to change her tune and call him a complete douchebag.

Christy now thinks she might want to go home because there isn't anyone there for her. That is until the next arrival comes...

New Arrival: Tasos
Tasos (from Andi's seasson) arrives. He of course has a date card. Cody is happy to see his friend arrive, and he has nothing bad to say about him. Until...Tasos immediately asks to talk to Michelle. The guys are all thinking that Cody is going to turn into the Hulk and maybe even eat Tasos. But, it doesn't look like it will come down to that because Michelle said he should totally ask Christy on the date because they would get along very well and it's exactly what she needs right now. Tasos told Michelle that she couldn't go wrong with Cody, and that he was a great guy. Michelle was glad to hear that from someone who knows Cody.

Tasos nervously asks Christy on the date, and she said yes. She's really excited to go with him.

Jesse is nervous that Christy is going on the date with Tasos, and he's hoping he can convince her to keep him around. Good luck with that buddy!

Date #3: Tasos & Christy
They go for a boat ride and then the boat drops them off in the water. They sit in some weird tubes and float down the lazy river that's filled with turtles apparently.

They have a little picnic on a dock. How cute are they together?!

Tasos was a real gentleman, and he said he was wanting to kiss her, but didn't want to rush it because he wanted her to feel comfortable. She is realizing that she really rushed things too quickly with Jesse and she's really regretting that.

Date Card: Zack
Zack continues to get jealous when he see Brooks playing basketball with Jackie. Brooks knew that Zack would want to spend some time with her, so he wanted to build on what they started on their date.

Of course, Zack is going to ask Jackie on the date, and Brooks is worried now.

So, Zack's date card totally affects AshLee, in that, she really wanted Graham to get the date card. He totally deserves it, and he hasn't had one...blah blah blah. She made a real hissy fit because he didn't get the date card because he's the best catch there. Let's be honest...SHE wanted the date card and could have cared less if Graham got the date card because he deserved it. It was all about her.

Date #4: Zack & Jackie
They go for a swim in...shocker...a cave. Lots and lots of repeats on these dates. Already, Jackie is saying this was the best date she's been on. Zack says it was his best first date, and loved that it was going so well.

Zack tells Jackie that he was interested in her before the show and Jackie liked hearing that. He said he's glad he's stuck around and gotten the chance to know her.

During the date, she was thinking about Brooks, but she was also very in the moment with Zack and was enjoying their date.

They shared a very passionate first kiss. Uh-oh...it doesn't look too good for Brooks right now.

Cocktail Party
Jesse and Tasos are fighting for Christy's rose. Brooks and Zack are fighting for Jesse's rose. Everyone else is very predictable.

Zack made a bracelet for Jackie. He said that you make a wish on it, and when it falls off, the wish will come true. He now feels like she is going to give him the rose. Brooks is worried because Zack has had more time with Jackie than he has so far. He talks to her and he wants to make sure she knows that she is the best option for him not only in paradise, but anywhere...no pressure. He said they had promised to paint each other's nails, and he brought some nail polish. They talked about doing just pinkies as in a pinkie swear. He paints all her nails on her one hand, and she's pretty impressed with how good he was at it.

Christy tells Tasos that she feels so much better with him than she did with Jesse. She said she wants to spend more time with him. Jesse interrupts and she really doesn't even want to talk to him. Jesse has made it quite clear that he just wants to stay in paradise because he's having fun. He even said to the camera that he didn't want to start a relationship with a "dumb blonde, but Christy has a rose". Yeah, that pretty much says it all right there. She told Jesse that she doesn't want to see things go any further with him. He said maybe he should have said something to make her open up more and she said that Lucy was open, and did he not like that with her? He said he felt something with Lucy but he didn't want to drag things out. By the end of the conversation, she was going to tell him flat out that she wasn't going to give him the rose, but he shocks her and says he's going to leave.

Jesse tells the group that he came and accomplished everything he wanted to. Um...OK. Christy somehow thinks it's her fault he's leaving, and it looks like she feels bad. She said she didn't even have enough guts to tell him that she knows exactly what he did with Lucy. Michelle and Lacy tell her that she deserves so much better than him. They both tell Christy that she needs to tell him exactly what she thinks of him and they will go with her. YOPO! (You Only Paradise Once)

Jesse says he hopes the limo is sweet and has a lot of alcohol.

He thinks he has escaped, but the girls aren't going to let him off that easy. She opens his limo door and she tells him that she knows what he did with Lucy and Jackie. He said he didn't see his relationship progressing so....

She says he's a coward for leaving like he is. He doesn't want to look like an idiot, not getting a rose.

Lacy chimes in and says what he did with talking to the guys was very disrespectful. Michelle said it's not about the rose, it's the way he's spoken about the things he's done with the girls. Michelle said that Christy has been hurt by what he's done, and he doesn't see anything wrong with what he's done.

Lacy and Michelle said they said what they needed to say, and Christy could finish. She said "have a safe flight."

Jesse said he came and had fun. He made friends with everyone except for 3 girls, but he still feels like he won. When he gets home, he'll have 60 emails with names and numbers and invitations to parties. Sounds like he'll be just fine...

Rose Ceremony
Lacy gives her rose to Marcus
AshLee gives her rose to Graham
Sarah gives her rose to Robert
Michelle gives her rose to Cody
Christy gives her rose to Tasos
Jackie gives her rose to Zack

Brooks had just about one of the shortest stays in Paradise I think. He came and now he's leaving. I'm kind of bummed...I like him and Jackie together better than her and Zack. Oh well...she didn't ask me.

Chris comes in and tells everyone that this was the last Rose Ceremony. Next week is the finale, and everything is about to change. Can't wait...but I'm kind of sad to see this all come to an end. I've really enjoyed this!
