Survivor, Ep. 29.7

Coyopa Camp
Missy & Baylor voted for Keith at the last Tribal Council. The next day, Missy explains to him that they were trying to flush out the idol. He said they could have let him know ahead of time. He said if Dale had also voted for him, that would have made it a tie. They said they would have voted for Dale if that would have happened. Keith says it doesn't sit well with him, and he says he's done with them and ready to leave them high and dry.

Hunahpu Camp
Josh is worried that they didn't get rid of Jeremy when they could have. They wanted him gone before the merge. Well...they just got treemail that says they are merging.

MERGE!

Let's see who's smart enough to look for a clue to the idol in the provided feast. Looks like no one.

They all partake in the food. Julie says she's going to take some food with her, and she dumps it in her bag. It doesn't look like she was deliberately trying to hide what she is doing (more on this later).

They all head back to Coyopa's camp.

Jeremy's ready to start playing the game. Julie tells him that she is with him...he sees her as just a number and nothing more. His plan is to talk to as many couples as he can. First on his list is Jon. Jeremy tells Jon that Josh is running the show. Jon agrees. By his count, they have 7: himself, Missy, Baylor, Jon, Jaclyn, Julie and Natalie.

New tribe name: Huyopa (real original)

Josh wishes Wes a happy birthday. Wes jokes that he was the first one to tell him that...even before his dad! Keith woke up and totally forgot!

Josh can't believe that people don't see what Jeremy is doing. He thinks that the 8 people who are coupled should stick together and take out the singles. That way they can all stay with their loved ones for longer.

Josh is sure that he can keep Baylor on his side because he's saved her. And with Baylor, would come Missy. He tells her that he is still with her and they have the numbers, and she's like "Oh!", like she's shocked. She's not sure what to do because her mom has a lot more alliances than she did. He told her not to side with any single people because she will end up being targeted because she's a part of a pair.

Baylor goes to talk to her mom, and she said that she's going to have to talk to Josh before the vote because she can't lie to him, and she doesn't want him to resent her for voting him out. Missy basically told her that she needed to suck it up and put on her big girl panties. Missy said she's going to have to be phony. Baylor was set on talking to him, so Missy told her she better talk to Jeremy first.

Josh sees Missy and Baylor talking a lot, and he thinks that Baylor has been away from him too long and her mom has tried to sway her to go against him. He talks to Jon and Jaclyn and said he wants to work with them. He said that in the end, who would get the money: 2 gay, successful Broadway guys or a fireman with 2 kids (Jeremy). Again, Jon and Jaclyn are kind of caught in the middle as the swing votes.

Everyone is talking about some extra trail mix that they thought someone brought back from the feast. It was Julie. She is hoarding it for herself and she said she's only going to share it with the people she likes. Everyone brought stuff back, but everyone else finished what they brought, so that's their own fault. She was off by herself, and they all decided to search people's bag. Guess what they found! And they all decided to share it amongst themselves and eat it ALL. They couldn't believe that she could be so selfish. She comes back, and she knows that they know. Ruh roh.

Immunity Challenge
Since we've merged, it's every man and woman for himself or herself: Individual Immunity

Challenge: using 2 ropes, they will balance a circular disc with a ball on it. In regular intervals they will move further away.

Round 1
First out -- Jeremy...boy that was fast! Missy is out, Julie is out

Round 2 (6 feet away now)
Reed is out, Baylor is out, Alec is out, Jaclyn is out, Natalie is out

The final 4 are all really steady. Keith, Wes, Josh and Jon are left and they are 35 minutes in.

Round 3 (a 2nd ball is added)
Josh is out right away, Jon is out and it is Father vs. Son!

Wes's balls are moving toward opposite edges, and they fall! It's Keith for the win!!! He's now got 2 immunities!

Before Tribal
Jeremy can't believe that he was the first one out, before an old guy, a mom, and Julie. He thought he would kill these challenges. That said, he's pretty sure that he is safe.

Alec decides to mess with Julie and loudly says "I sure would like some trail mix". She doesn't know what she should do. She talks to Missy and she says she can't get her head in the game. She sounds like she's hinting at quitting. Missy tells her to stick it out. Missy's mad that she was selfish about the trail mix, but she needs her to stay for their numbers. If she would leave that would really mess things up. Julie realizes that they are only using her for the numbers and that they think they can beat her. She still doesn't sound convincing that she is going to stay.

Jeremy and Jon talk, and they say that Josh is the only one on that side playing the game, and if they get rid of him, the other side will be lost. Josh realizes that Jeremy is playing the game on the other side.

The couples talk, and they realize that Jeremy is set on getting the couples out. Jon changes his mind again, and he now thinks that the best thing for his and Jaclyn's game is to stick with the couples instead of sticking with Jeremy. Somehow, Alec as a single person is also in this couple alliance.

Uh oh...Julie is visiting with Probst. That is never a good sign. She tells him that losing John was hard, and now she has to see all the loved ones together. She can't get her head in the game. Facing so many days left that she will still be away from him, is hard for her to think about. She thinks she's already out of the game. Missy telling her she wants her to stay isn't enough, because she knows it's only to further their game. By her staying, she's compromising her well-being and what she needs right now. She does feel guilty about people that she is in an alliance with and that she's letting them down, but she doesn't want to compromise herself.

Most of the tribe is really upset when Probst fills them in. They took care of her, and she didn't have to do anything. Add to that the fact that she had all the trail mix and didn't share with everyone. And add the fact that she was an important number for an alliance.

Because of Julie leaving, there is no Tribal Council.

In Julie's goodbye message, she says "me" and "I" way too many times to count. She said only SHE knows how difficult it was...SHE was the one close to dehydration, SHE was the one in the heat, SHE was the one not seeing her loved one for 3 weeks. Ummmm....no, she was not the ONLY one, there are 11 other people still left there with her. They were all living under the same conditions. And Jeremy, Alec and Natalie were all out there without their loved ones. So, no, she was not the ONLY one.
