Nikki-Kansas City, MO
Their day consisted of taking in some barbecue. Ribs, ribs and more ribs, and fries. First she stuffed him full of food, and then she puts him on a mechanical bull. He did surprisingly well, and Nikki really enjoyed watching him. After that, she knew that she really wanted to tell him that she was falling in love with him.

JP had a chat with her dad, and he told her dad that he hoped that if he did end up with Nikki that they would also accept him and Camila into their family. Her dad said that he trusts Nikki's judgement, and if he's 100% invested, then they would be accepted whole-heartedly into the family.

When Nikki talked to her dad, he told her that blended families are easy. She said she has a lot of love to give and that her family has given her a great example to follow.

The date ended, and she just didn't feel like it was the right time to tell him she loved him. Did she blow her chance?

I have to say that this is probably the best side of Nikki that we've seen so far. Maybe she's just kind of nasty when she's around the girls, because she seemed kind of like a different person in her hometown and with her family.

Andi-Atlanta, GA

Andi takes him to a gun range to shoot. She was hoping to make him a little uncomfortable, because she felt really out of her element on a lot of the group dates. This is something she is good at, and she really was! JP: "I didn't shoot that well, I guess". Haha! But he did end up with a bullseye, so that was acceptable, and she could take him to meet her family.

Her dad was really tough. They talked about the number of dates that they had been on, and she had to mention that at the point when there were 8 girls left, she had not had a one-on-one yet. Her dad was looking really perturbed. JP saw the look, and he knew he had a lot of work to do. Throughout the dinner, he really didn't look impressed. He said in an ITM that he thinks they are infatuated with each other and are having fun, but he wasn't sure that they were in love. He thinks JP could be feeling infatuated with the other 3 girls as well.

During a talk with her Mom, the topic of dancing came up and so JP and Andi showed her some salsa, which was basically Andi barely moving.

Then it was on to talk to Dad. He asked him why he came on the show. Dad didn't seem too impressed with his reason. JP asked him the same thing he asked Nikki's Dad, and he said he wouldn't answer whether he would accept JP and Camila, simply because there are 3 other girls. He said if he chooses Andi, then they can discuss it further. Can't fault him for telling it how it is and giving an honest answer.

Andi's sister wasn't convinced and she said she wasn't sure he was the one and didn't really see them together. Andi was pretty crushed. She was hoping for reassurance and she really didn't get it from anyone. Her words of "we get along really well" pretty much say it all. She isn't saying she's in love, it's more like just having a good time. And her need for such reassurance makes me think that she is really questioning things. They're not feeling it, she's not really feeling it. She said she's "really close to being in love with him", but she still didn't sound so sure.

Renee-Sarasota, FL
Renee is going to introduce Juan Pablo to her son, Ben. JP seemed like a natural with him and was having fun watching him play baseball.

She told her Mom that she was in love with him, but hasn't told him yet. Her Dad seemed pretty impressed with Juan Pablo.

At the end of the night, she told him that she wouldn't have had him come meet Ben if she didn't feel the way she felt about him. That's not "I love you". He asked her what are you thinking? She said "a lot of things". She blew her chance, just like Nikki did.

Did anyone else think we didn't see near as much of Renee's hometown as the other 3?

Clare-Sacramento, CA
Their day was spent in the park feeding the ducks like she did with her Dad when she was little. I get that her Dad was a big part of her life and she loved him, but I seriously think that there isn't one conversation with Juan Pablo that is not about her Dad. Yes, it's important, but they need to have more of a connection than just discussing her Dad.

The visit at home involved more talk about Dad. She told her sister that this is the first time she's been in love since their Dad died. Her sisters both liked Juan Pablo and they were happy for Clare...except her one sister. She said she didn't think that if Juan Pablo were to ask for their blessing that they would be ready for that. Clare got pretty upset by how her sister reacted, and was "speaking" for their mother who was sitting right there, not saying anything. Her sister said that Clare was manipulating "mama". What is with this sister? I don't get what she's talking about at all. Then her sister gets up and stands away from the conversation, but not...it was just weird.

Laura hadn't had a chance to talk to Juan Pablo yet, and Clare was afraid of her sister saying something bad to Juan Pablo. Finally, Laura leaves and he gets to talk to her Mom, and she can speak! They spoke in Spanish for a little bit, and JP felt right at home. She told him that if he chose Clare that he would be welcomed into their family.

This might be mean, but Clare doesn't look anything like any of her sisters.

Rose Ceremony
The order the roses were handed out: Nikki, Clare, Andi
Going home: Renee

Again, this elimination brought him to tears. She told him she's never felt this way about anyone and she wished she had told him sooner. She said she fell in love with him and he opened up her eyes to a whole new world. He told her that she was so great and he respected her a lot. But that was all he said to her. He didn't say why he was letting her go over the other girls.
