Big Brother 15 Houseguests Mouthing Off

To anyone who reads this blog for Big Brother recaps and updates, I feel it is my duty to report on what is going on in the BB15 house that not everyone is seeing--but believe me, LOTS of people are talking about.

In case you have only watched the regular broadcast episodes on CBS, and have not watched any of the Big Brother After Dark episodes or the live feeds, and have not read or watched any entertainment news since Big Brother started just a week ago--let me fill you in on what everyone is talking about.

Everyone knows that cameras are filming the houseguests in the Big Brother house 24/7. Everyone knows that what make it onto the 3 episodes on CBS every week are censored, and only show what the producers want us to see. Right now, there is outrage that viewers aren't getting to see who some of these people truly are.

The game is just a little over a week old, and 2 people (2!!) have lost their jobs on the outside because of things they've said inside the house. Mind you, these things were only shown on the After Dark shows and the live feeds...not even on the mainstream CBS episodes. Still, Aaryn and GinaMarie's employers felt that what they said was so wrong that they got fired for it. Aaryn's modeling agency was the first to cut her loose, and GinaMarie's pageant job employers soon followed suit. Aaryn has lost 2 modeling contracts, one with Zephyr Talent and the other with Bella Petite. This is part of the statement from Zephyr Talent:

"Aaryn, season 15 cast member of Big Brother, revealed prejudices and other beliefs that we (Zephyr Talent) do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by Aaryn on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by Aaryn, either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are hers alone and do not represent the views or opinions of Zephyr Talent. Upon much consideration, we have decided to release Aaryn from her contract with Zephyr Talent."

As for GinaMarie, her employer, East Coast USA Pageant Inc., made this statement about her future with them:

“We have never known this side of Ginamarie or have ever witnessed such acts of racism in the past. We are actually thankful that this show let us see Ginamarie for who she truly is as we would never want her to be a role model to our future contestants.”

Who will be next? Well, it could be Spencer. He works for the Union Pacific railroad, and they made the following statement about Spencer's comments on the show:

"The values represented by Spencer Clawson's comments during the Big Brother show do not at all align with Union Pacific's values. Mr. Clawson is on unpaid leave of absence while participating on Big Brother. Union Pacific does not condone his comments."

They ended their statement by saying they are "acting in accordance with Collective Bargaining Agreement terms regarding Mr. Clawson" ... which sounds like they are preparing to have his termination papers ready for him when he gets out of the house.

His "joke" about child pornography prompted his employers to notify the police, who then searched his residence. They didn't find anything, however.
So what exactly has been said that could be so awful, and who else is guilty of being not who they appear to be? Here's a recap of some of the worst comments that have been made up to this point in the game (I will update this as things continue to happen; last update 8/6):
Aaryn
  • To Helen (an Asian American): "Shut up and go make some rice."
  • About Candice (an African American): "Be careful what you say in the dark, you might not see the b****."
  • Referred to Andy (a gay man) as "queer," and said that America would vote for him because America "loves the queers."
  • Referring to the fish in the fish tank: "Why do the black ones stay on the bottom and the white ones go on the top? 'Cause they're segregated?"
  • To Candice: "Whatcha gonna do, girl? Whatcha gonna do?" ... "I wouldn't get in your bed anyway with all them crabs." ... "Where's your class, girl? Where's your class?"
  • She flipped Candice AND Howard's beds and dumped everything on the ground, forcing Candice and Howard to spend the night sleeping on the floor in the Have-Not room
Amanda
  • Called Andy, "Faggoty Ann."
  • Called herself the "Fag Hag Queen."
  • About Candice wearing her headband without asking: "She freaking took it off of your head and put it on her freaking nappy head."
  • About Candice using her tweezers earlier: "I hope you f***ing slip and fall with the f***ing tweezers in your hand and knocks her eye out."
  • To Candice: "That's the Chaniqua coming out of your, right? Am I racist now? I'm racist."
  • About Candice (who was adopted), she called her "orphan girl".
  • About Candice going on the block: "Spencer has to go up or the monkey will not go home."
David
  • About Candice: said his bed sheets smelled because of "black Candice."
GinaMarie
  • Described welfare as "n***** insurance."
  • About Helen: suggested that someone hit her in the head to make her eyes straight.
  • About Candice: "Candice is on the dark side because she's already dark."
  • About Candice: "Her blackness is showing now that she's not on the block."
  • About Helen: "She should be kissing our a** and serving us f***ing rice.
  • Said that the way Candice talks is fake because it is "too white."
  • To Candice: "You want the black to come out?! ... "You want the whites this way and the blacks this way?!"
  • To Candice, who is adopted: "At least my Mom likes me, unlike your Mom."
  • She said that Candice was a crack baby and said "she's white and black, so you know [her mom] was definitely whorin'".
  • Imitating Candice: "I'm so white, I'm so black, I don't know what to be."
  • About Candice being adopted: "She's like a black Annie...'Blannie'"
  • About Candice: "She's such a degenerate, her own mom didn't even want her."
  • About Elissa's son: "That kid looks like a f***ing Spanish Puerto Rican little dirt monkey. There's no way a f***ing white guy is that..." (couldn't really make out what she said at the end)
Jeremy
  • Often refers to women in the house as b****es.
  • About Elissa: said he'd cut a b****.
  • Made a really disgusting remark about Kaitlin, that I don't even want to begin to repeat...let's just say it refers to her vajayjay.
  • Not something he said, but something he did: he took Elissa's had, shoved it down the back of his pants and rubbed it on his butt crack. (Rumor has it that BB forced him to appologize to her.)
Kaitlin
  • Said that Candice's black side was starting to come out.
  • "Wooo! Gonna see the black girl come out of you!"
Spencer
  • Called Andy, "Kermit the Fag."
  • Said that medical torture conducted by Nazi doctors was beneficial and praised Hitler's speaking abilities, and even acknowledged that he'd be criticized for saying it.
  • Has referred to the women in the house as c***s.
  • To Candice, as she was going to lay her head on his shoulder: "Sure, you're gonna get my shirt greasy?"
  • Called Helen, Kim Jong Un
  • Said "B****, get your a** cooking!"
  • Said this about watching child pornography: "I like to beat off to child porn. Did I ever tell y'all about that?...I love it. Beating off to child porn is my favorite thing there is...I love it when they're around 3 or 4 years old. My favorite ones are when you can tell they're in a basement." (Many assume he was joking because they were talking about McCrae in the shower right before this, and Spencer said it into McCrae's microphone. Regardless, a joke or not, it's still disgusting and despicable.)
  • About Candice: "She doesn't have any merits to be here. They had to have a black chick."
Pretty bad, right? It's not like things like this have never been said in the BB house before, but it's never been this bad and with so many people taking part. Keep in mind, it isn't the whole house. McCrae told Amanda not to say those kinds of things, and Elissa has said that some of the things being said have made her uncomfortable.

CBS issued a statement about what has been going on:

"Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 — and seeing every moment of their lives. At times, the Houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by several of the Houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a Houseguest appearing on Big Brother, either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program."

I think some of these houseguests are going to be pretty shocked when they hear how they are being seen by America. Obviously, these people say just as bad of things in their real lives and probably worse. People who have played the game before said that they never really forgot that the cameras were there. So one has to think that they just don't care or think that what they are saying is wrong. Aaryn said at one point that she hoped that she wasn't the one on the show that everyone hated. Well, sorry, but you are. She's going to be pretty surprised to find out about all the hate directed towards her at the moment. Not to mention coming out of the house and finding out that you don't have a job any more.

Well done...way to keep it classy houseguests.
