Survivor, Ep. 33.12

Vinaka Camp
I still can't believe they drew rocks at last Tribal.

Hannah feels very guilty that Jessica went home instead of her. David can't believe he burned his idol for no reason, and he's now in the minority. He thinks he will be the first to go.

Zeke thanked everyone for doing what they did to save him. Bret and Jay said David seriously needs to go. Zeke is so sure that he won the battle against David. He feels like he has a very strong alliance of 5 and that they will easily pick the others off until they are the last 5 standing.

Ken receives his legacy advantage that was left for him by Jess. I'm so glad she kept her word. I hope he gets to use it!

Reward Challenge

Challenge: they're attached to a rope that is wound through obstacles - first to finish wins
Reward: Family visits and a barbecue
--Adam told his brother about his advantage but he said he can't use it and he wouldn't take away someone else's chance to be with their family. Wow, that was incredible. His brother told him that their mom was OK. (Sad note: Adam's mom passed away 2 days after the show was done filming, back in May.)

Family Members:
Sunday - her husband, Jeff
Bret - his dad, Don
Jay - his sister, Melanie
Hannah - her mom, Liz
Adam - his brother, Evan
David - his dad, Doug
Ken - his brother, William
Zeke - his dad, Sam
Will - his mom, Irene

Ken is flying! Jay is right behind him as they make their way to the 2nd half of the course. Ken and Jay are neck-and-neck. Zeke and Hannah are catching up. Sunday can't figure it out and is way behind. For some reason, Will is also having problems.

Ken can't dig a big enough hole to get himself under the log and he's stuck. Adam is now stuck, too! Jay made it through and is in the lead. Adam is screaming in pain but can't get out. Ken finally made it, but he's behind Jay and Zeke. Adam is still stuck :(

Zeke takes a big fall around his ropes on the pole!

Jay wins! And he proves yet again, that he is a challenge beast to be reckoned with.

Jay now has to pick someone else to join him. He chose Will because he said he made a promise to him early on. Jay then gets to pick again, and he picked Sunday because of an earlier promise. And yet again, Jay gets to pick one last person, and he picked Adam! Jay was in tears when he picked him...wow! Jay said that Adam could have used his advantage and he didn't and even though they've been "brawlin'" this whole time, he was going to let him have the reward. (I wonder if Jeff would have kept telling him to pick someone until he picked Adam.)

Adam's brother filled Adam in on their mom's health. He said she's been having reactions to some of the pills. He said they took her off the treatments and she's been doing better and getting stronger. He said she wanted him to know that she was getting so much of her strength from him being there and living out his dream.

Adam was so thankful to Jay for doing what he did, and he didn't know if there was any way to truly repay him for what he did. He gave him his advantage! With no strings attached, he wanted Jay to have it. Wow! He said he's playing for so much more than that. I can't even handle all of these sweet, emotional moments! How incredible!

Will is ready to start playing the game. He realizes the moves he's made haven't gained him the respect he deserves. He told David that Zeke is going to win and they need to get him out tonight. He knows it's risky, but he didn't play this game to be a goat, he wants to play to win. David couldn't be happier. With one vote, the numbers would swing to the other alliance.

Immunity Challenge
Challenge: use 2 handles to keep tension on a steel bar, if the bar falls, you're out

Order of Exit:
1. David (seconds into the challenge)
2. Hannah
3. Will
4. Bret
5. Sunday
6. Zeke (David pats Hannah on the shoulder in celebration)

It's only been 4 minutes...

7. Ken
8. Jay

Adam wins immunity! Wow, way to go, Adam! That was some sheer willpower right there.

Vinaka Camp
No matter what anyone says, they are going to vote Zeke. As long as Will is with them, they're fine.

Jay wonders why David is so calm. Zeke thinks something is amiss. They wonder if David has another idol. They need to throw someone else under the bus, so they decide on Ken. Nooooooooo! Crap! Will, you better do the right thing here.

Will talked to Ken. Ken now feels better about where Will stands. Ken thoroughly vetted him with questions and his motives. Ken said he gives people one chance to be honest. Will said working with Ken is like getting his fingernails and toenails ripped out at the same time. Yikes! Will said it's worth it though. Will tells Ken that they are writing his name down. Ken was surprised and didn't understand it. I hope he doesn't blow up or confront people about it.

Oh no. Ken walks up and asks Jay to go talk. Ken asks Jay why his name came up. He said that Will told him that they were voting for Ken. Will tells Ken that he just blew up his game. Crap! Ken, why did you have to say how you heard about it? Jay is upset, but still needs Will's vote. Ken said he was testing Will's loyalty. Adam's right, that wasn't a test, that was a betrayal. Great, so now Will is ticked at Ken and wants to stick with his 5 and get Ken out. Then they wonder if David would play another idol for Ken, so maybe they vote for Hannah.

So it's basically all up to Will and what he decides to do. Oh, heaven help us all. That was a ton of explosions going off. So many things destroyed.

Tribal Council
Will is strategically sitting between the 2 alliances. Will said that Ken outed his plan to vote out Zeke. He said he's treated like a little kid and he wants to be treated as an adult. He said it was insulting because he wants to play the game seriously and be taken seriously.

Zeke told Will he has always wanted to play with him. He said he actually protected him when he and Taylor, and Jay were being targetted. Jay said he never talked down to Will and they've made moves together.

David said if Will votes with them, his name will be all over this move and it will look good on his resume. Bret said they will just turn on him on the next vote becaue they've done it before.

Hannah thinks the other side just "fluffs" up Will and try to make him feel good. Jay said he's not there to "fluff" him up. Will said Jay is really the only person who has constantly treated him like an adult.

Oh crap, I don't feel good about this at all! I've liked Will up to this point, but if he votes out Ken, I'm going to be very upset with him!

The Votes
Adam stands up...and pulls out his idol...out of his pants (the only place he could hide it). And he plays it for Hannah.

Hannah
Hannah
Hannah
Hannah
Zeke
Zeke
Zeke

Whoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Adam totally read that right!!!!! I was so worried about Ken, and they did go for Hannah after all. Wow, Adam is truly the hero of this episode.

And THIS is why Survivor is still amazing after 33 seasons! Every Tribal is completely unpredictable, and you never know who is going to be completely shocked by the outcome. Oh, and of course we're wondering how Will voted - he voted for Zeke.
