Survivor, Ep. 31.4

Hoping for a good week for Joe and Spencer...but not feeling too good about it. The previews for the challenge look brutal...I sure hope no one gets hurt too badly.

Angkor Camp
Varner can't believe he dodged a bullet...and neither can I! How did he not get a single vote?! He said he is loyal to the group and he will do whatever it takes. Tasha says Peih-Gee shouldn't have gone home, it should have been Varner for what he did. They were in control, so why didn't they make that happen? It's not looking good for Varner if they lose. Abi tells Tasha that she has a problem with what just happened (Tasha talking to Woo). She said he voted for her and she doesn't like that she pulled him aside. Tasha wanted to talk in private, but Abi didn't. Woo said he was sorry he wrote her name down. She said she felt like it was personal because he's voted for her twice. She thinks he should be the next one to go.

After the shock at Tribal, they are left to wallow in the nothingness that is their camp. They have little food and not much of a shelter. There is a little bit of hope when they get Treemail because it sounds like the winners could get a feast. But...they don't know if they are strong enough to get a win.

Bayon Camp
Jeremy is feeling good about snagging the idol at the last challenge. Fishbach asked Jeremy if he had any luck looking for the idol. He said he didn't. He threw him off the trail by telling him that they have to look for it and they have to find it for the good of their alliance. He wants to gain his trust so that if his name comes up, Fishbach will let him know and then he has his "get out of jail free" card to play. He wants to be Fishbach's "JT".

Reward Challenge
Challenge: race into the water to get sand bags, then launch sand bags into a net - first to get all 3 win a barbecue set and all the fixin's, the second to finish get the same, but smaller.

Twist: hero challenge -- they have to select 1 person to run the entire challenge for them! Whoa!

Ta Keo - Terry
Bayon - Jeremy
Angkor - Savage

This is brutal to make the entire challenge fall on one person's shoulders! But this should be a great match!

After the first leg, they all try to conserve some energy. They all get to the launch at about the same time. Terry is first and gets it the first time and he is out in the water again.

Savage launches way long. Jeremy gets it on the 2nd try. Savage keeps missing but finally gets it.

Terry has a lead and is moving kind of slow. His 2nd bag launched way long as Jeremy is coming back. Terry forgot what he did to get it the first time. Savage caught up and passed them all by getting his 2nd bag on the 1st try.

Terry and then Jeremy get theirs and are trying to catch Savage. This would truly be a heroic win for Savage and Angkor if he can pull this off.

Savage and Terry are neck and neck at the launch. Terry missed, but Savage got it and Savage wins!

Terry tries again as Jeremy is coming back. Jeremy misses, but Terry gets it, so Terry gets reward for Ta Keo.

That win is HUGE for Angkor! They needed food so badly, and Savage provided! You have to feel good about that for them!

Angkor Camp
Tribe morale is at an all-time high right now. Strangely, it's dark when they get back to camp to grill up their food. Savage is happy that he gave his tribe hope. By him winning, they can now believe in themselves that they can actually win an immunity challenge against the stronger tribes.

Ta Keo Camp
Kass thinks about what she can do differently with her game this time around since she lost last time. She thinks her game was good last time, but her fault was her social game. She decided to collect some things around camp and she is making some sort of necklace or bracelet. Kelley sees her and wonders what she's doing. She thinks she's making a fake idol, so she approaches her, but Kass tells her to go away. She was actually making something for Kelley for her birthday. Awe! She said she hopes it is a good luck charm. Wow, Kass actually made that look believable.

Bayon Camp
Spencer has some work to do being down 4-2. He knows Kelly voted for him on their old tribe. He thinks he has to throw her under the bus. Monica doesn't think he is being completely truthful about her having a lot of connections on the other side. He said she will always be someone he can't fully trust. Monica makes a fake alliance with Spencer, but really she is holding out hope for an all-girl alliance and wants to keep the guy numbers down.

Immunity Challenge

Challenge: it's the blindfold challenge where a caller calls out to the players on the course and tells them where to move to find huge block-shaped puzzle pieces. When all the pieces are collected, they assemble the puzzle. These pieces are big and very heavy.

Monica and Ciera sit out.

Callers:
Jeff for Angkor
Kimmi for Bayon
Kass for Ta Keo

Angkor is working well in pairs and they are first to get a piece. Ta Keo and Bayon each get a piece.

Keith is having a very hard time hearing Kass, who is screaming at the top of her lungs. Oh boy...Terry is wandering around like he's lost. This is not looking good for them.

Angkor is in the lead with 4.Somehow, they now have 11. Ta Keo in dead last with 6. Terry still waiting on instruction and Keith still can't hear. Joe, on his own got a piece without any help. There goes Joe with another one!

And then the montage of "Ouch!", "Oh!", "Oooh!"

Ta Keo now has the lead with 15! Way to go Joe! He basically single-handedly did this!

All tribes are now on the last piece. Spencer with a very bad hit! Oh, poor Spencer!

Ta Keo is the first to get 16 pieces. Angkor is right behind them. And then Bayon. Wow..this is close! Oh dear!

All members of the tribe work together. This could either be good or bad.

Varner dropped a piece on himself...ouch!

Ta Keo and Bayon make some progress and Angkor is a little lost. And again, that tribe moving slowly and not really working well together. They are so exhausted. Jeff said it was like they were waiting for Ta Keo to win so it would be over. Ouch! Brutal, but kind of true.

Bayon wins immunity! Woohoo for Spencer!!!

Ta Keo with the last piece, and they come in 2nd! Woohoo for Joe!!

Poor Savage, he said he gave everything he had in that challenge. He said he's ready to fall over and he can't even think straight. It seems like all that food they got didn't really help them at all like it should have. They came out really strong, but when it came to the puzzle, they just shut down completely.

Angkor Camp - Pre-Tribal
I really thought they were coming into this challenge with an incredible high, but it didn't help this dysfunctional crew at all. And now they are on an even lower rock bottom.

Varner said he is not a threat to anyone. He has his foot wrapped and said it's going to be very sore for a few days.

Tasha tells Savage that Jeff needs to go, and the last thing they need is for Abi to talk to him.

Varner is worried it will be either him or Woo, since Abi has turned on them. Varner thinks if Abi is making the calls, he might be OK because he has never voted for her.

Woo talks to Abi and asks her how she feels. She said she makes her feel wanted and that's a good feeling. He said she shouldn't get too comfortable because they are only doing that because they need her. She doesn't think she can trust Woo because he has stabbed her in the back. She said there were no hard feelings for him voting with what he thought was the majority. I don't think he can say anything to sway her at this point. She plays solely on feelings.

Abi tells Tasha that she doesn't trust Woo. Tasha tries to tell her that Varner is a bigger threat and Woo can help them win challenges. Abi said Varner has proven his loyalty to her and has done things to try to protect her. Tasha rolls her eyes as she can't get through to Abi. She says like 50 times, "I'm thinking. I'm thinking. I'm thinking." OK, we get it.

Abi says she hates having to be the decision maker. If they were smart they would make the decision to just vote her out and lose all the cancerous drama.

Tribal Council
Varner comes walking in with a cane. And then he gets attacked as he's talking by...a large insect? What the heck was that thing?!

Woo tries to convince the tribe that he will be a physical asset that Varner is not. He said he will stay loyal for his alliance. Varner said he's only voted against "this" alliance. Varner said he wanted to make a pitch and told Tasha and Savage that he would be loyal to them. He said he adores Abi and will stay loyal until the end of it. Tasha just sighs out loud and rolls her eyes. Woo feels like he can add nothing to that. Woo said he can give loyalty AND the physical. Woo said he's flipped before, so how can they trust him to not do that again. Woo said he was willing to commit and stick to it.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this! Those 2 just won't quit! Even as Jeff said Woo should go vote, he made one last plead to Abi. As he walked to vote, Abi shouts "make sure you don't write Abi!" Yikes!

The Votes
Jeff
Woo
Jeff
Jeff

Whoa! They did it! Tasha could not be more happy right now! Abi felt horrible, and Woo was shocked...again...but this time it was in a good way.
