The 159 dancers who made it through the audition round, now move on to Vegas...
I don't think it's worth recapping every dance we saw, so I will just recap notable eliminations.
Round 1: Solos
The dancers perform solos in hopes of getting a room key to advance to the next stage.
Right off the bat, they eliminated 53 dancers, including some of the dancers I liked the most and that I thought had a really good chance of going far:
Donovan Gibbs
Caleb Brauner (one of my absolute favorites!)
Kaitlyn Rodriguez
Shane Garcia
Round 2: Choreography
In this round the following memorable dancers were eliminated:
Toshihiko Nakazawa (casualty of the hip-hop round)
Shanshan Qiao-Rothlisberger (casualty of the jazz round)
Tommy Tibball (casualty of the ballroom round)
Round 3: Groups
A few cuts were made, but no one memorable from the audition round.
Round 4: Choreography
Eliminated:
Jennifer Jones
Misha Smagen
Final Cuts
Armen Way
*There were obviously a lot of other cuts made, but if they didn't say/show their name, I don't remember their faces enough to know who they were, or if they were someone we saw in the auditions.
33 dancers are left and will face the Green Mile next week, and the top 20 will be announced.
