The Bachelor, Ep. 17.6

Double dose of The Bachelor this week, I can't wait! Judging from the previews last night, this episode promises to be the best this season, and quite possibly one of the best of any season. I can't wait to see what happens with Tierra. Here we go...

This week they are at Lake Louise in Banff. It's so cool to see these sights again, as Mom and I just vacationed there this summer. They filmed this in October, just a couple months after we were there. How cool would it have been to have been there at the same time?

One-on-One: Catherine

Cathetine gets picked up by Sean driving one of the monster snowcoaches and they head to the Columbia Icefields. I so remember being on that very same glacier...so cool! After their fun in the snow, they have a horse-drawn carriage ride to an ice castle built just for them. Really?

Catherine really opened up to Sean about a traumatic experience she had at 12. A tree fell on a girl who was walking in front of her and killed her. Wow...that would be incredibly difficult.

She gets the rose.

Group Date: Tierra, Sarah, Lindsay, Selma, Lesley, Daniella, AshLee

Daniella is shocked and confused that she didn't get a one-on-one date because she is the only one who hasn't had much time with Sean.

Their date is canoeing on Lake Louise. Lesley was the first to say she wanted in Sean's canoe. You snooze, you lose girls. Judging from last night's episode in the canoes, this could be really interesting. So, awkward ITM (in the moment) video of Selma saying she wanted to dump Lesley's canoe, and then she says she wished a shark would come up and eat their canoe. And then she proceeds to laugh very strangely without making any sounds. Just weird.

As they reach the other side of the lake, Sean said they are going to join the Polar Bear club by jumping into the water. You know this is serious business when they have a lifeguard and EMT standing by to tell them about all the risks. Tierra really doesn't want to do it, but she's going to do it. AshLee is another one with doubts, but she wanted to do it for Sean. Selma decides she isn't going to do it...she tells Sean that she "will die". She was the only one not to do it.

And what followed was a LOT of screaming! They all ran in, dunked themselves and ran out. Poor Sean was so red! And then....Tierra happened. Full on drama mode. She couldn't breathe and was just gasping and thrashing. It's so hard to tell what's real and how much of it she is faking. They wrap her up and carry her to a vehicle to check her out to see if they need to take her to the hospital. They then took her inside, her mascara was running...not a pretty sight. Catherine and Desiree came to see her and she said "we had to jump in the glacier." Um...had to? Selma didn't do it...you didn't HAVE to do it. So, that makes medical emergency #2 for Tierra. Concussion and hypothermia...tough breaks for Tierra.

They actually have her oxygen and Sean came to see her. She told him that in a wheelchair she said "this guy better marry me." Oh my, he said he feels pretty comfortable with his feelings for Tierra, so he didn't think she should go to the party that night. Oh, Sean, did we forget everything we learned from last week? Seriously...one step forward, two steps back. He even told her that she keeps finding ways to get one-on-one time with him. Hello...stalker!

So, classic Tierra...she recovers very quickly and decides, "I'm going to the party." Big surprise. She walks in and you could hear a pin drop...and then "bleep". She walks in and immediately she gets one-on-one time with Sean. It's hilarious listening to all the girls talk about how fake she is and what they think should happen to her. He asks her "if" they fall in love, if she would want a proposal. I hope she heard the word "if", but I doubt she did.

And the date rose goes to...Lesley! Whew! That was close, he seemed like he was going to give it to Tierra because he said she battled hypothermia and still showed up to the party. Tierra: "Lesley gets the rose tonight, and I think I deserve it. I've put up with a lot, and I don't think it's fair." Oh you don't, huh?

During Sarah's one-on-one, she showed Sean a bunch of baby and family pictures. She said that she wants him to meet her family. Later after the date, Sean came to talk to her because he didn't want to wait until the rose ceremony to tell her that he really didn't see a future with her. So, he decides to send her home early. Overall, she seemed to handle it very well. I felt kind of bad for her, but it was nice of him to not make her wait if he knew he wasn't going to keep her. That had to be so hard to walk into that room of girls and tell them that he was sending her home.

One-on-One: Desiree

Desiree is the first one to get a second one-on-one date. Both Daniella and Tierra haven't had one yet...haha!

Sean tells Des that she is going to repel down the 400' mountain (Tunnel Mountain). She was freaked out, to say the least. After their picnic in the meadow, she challenges him at tree-climbing. Really?

They do a lot of talking about what happened in Montana, and they get back on track. She opens up about living in a tent, and I got bored, so I didn't really pay attention to what all she was saying. She gets the rose.

Cocktail Party

Selma decides to shame her family and "bring out the big guns" and give Sean a kiss.

Lindsay does the opposite, and says she's not going to kiss him...because that's pretty much all they ever do when they're alone. She also divulges that she sleeps naked. He asked if she was sleeping naked there and she said "bare minimum". Finally after a ton of sexual tension, they do kiss.

AshLee uses role play...she gives him a scarf to blindfold her to show him that she can trust him. She was abandoned when she was little and now she feels like she has to be in control of everything in her life.

Rose Ceremony

Already have roses: Catherine, Lesley, Desiree

Receive roses: Lindsay, AshLee, Tierra

Going home: Sarah, Daniella, Selma

No, I created this blog using Google Blogger. I really like it, and it's pretty easy to use. It does not require any html coding knowledge, but it has that option (and I do use that sometimes).
