Survivor, Ep. 32.11

Days 30-32

Dara Camp - After Tribal
Haha Mark is in the hammock! Such a domesticated chicken!

Tai said he almost played his idol and he told the group that he asked Aubry if he should play it or not.

Jason said that now is the time to make some changes. Tai and Aubry are going to be hard to beat. He has no allegiance to anyone and he would be someone good to stick around.

Michele wanted to show her loyalty by voting out her closest ally in the game to further her game.

Tai tells the group that he has an extra vote and they should use it at the next Tribal. Then at the following Tribal, he will use his idol. He thinks they are all tight and Aubry and Joe are his final 3.

Dara Camp

Tai found a humungous grub. He said they might have to eat something like this in a challenge. He wondered if maybe Mark would like it. Mark grabbed it and took off like a shot! He ate the whole thing in one bite! They all had a good laugh, and Jason said he's given up all hope on eating him because everyone loves him. He said he is guaranteed to make it to day 39.

Jason said to Joe that no one is playing the game anymore. He said everyone has accepted where they are in the game and that makes him mad. Joe said he is just mad because things aren't going his way. He said his play in the game now is to be lazy. He doesn't help with firewood or water and just eats their food.

Reward Challenge
Challenge:2 teams of 3 go through water obstacles to a floating maze; maneuver 3 balls through the maze
Reward: Wild Life Alliance that rescues animals from poachers and traders - they will visit and interact with the animals along with a picnic (Um...this would be the perfect reward for me!)

Teams: Blue: Jason/Michele/Tai  Yellow: Joe/Cydney/Aubry

Jason left Joe in the dirt. Michele passed him up as well. Joe, as usual, was very, very, slow (he is 71 after all)

Blue is all there and they are working on maneuvering the balls. Meanwhile, Aubry is bringing up the rear for yellow.

Jason took the lead for blue and they worked together nicely to get the first ball in. Yellow is working on their ball and no one is listening to Joe...they are making no progress.

Jason gets ball #2, and still not much happening for yellow. Blue is working like a machine.

Yellow finally gets ball #1 in, while Blue is close to getting #3. They are hopping up and down trying to work the last ball in, and it finally drops.

That was a really cool challenge!

Dara Camp
Joe, Cydney, and Aubry are back at camp. Joe said he was embarrassed by his performance - it was like a 6-month old.

Cydney was not too happy that Joe asked her to go get firewood while she was trying to eat. Aubry kept asking Joe what she could do to help. She asked him over and over what he wanted her to do.

Aubry wants to keep the peace, but she's afraid that Cydney is going to blow up at Joe and blow the alliance, or Joe is going to burn down the camp with the huge fire he insists on keeping going.

Reward
They start to feast, and in walks an elephant. Her name is Lucky. She was found alone wandering without her mother. She made quick friends with Tai, naturally. Jason bonded with her as well and he thought his daughter would have loved to do that.

Later, Jason got attacked by a monkey! The monkey flew at him and landed on his shoulder. Then a monkey started crawling all over Tai. That looks like so much fun!

Tai thinks that Michele should go next. Michele thinks that Jason is trying to show off a softer side of himself. She hasn't forgotten the evil side that hid the machete. She thinks he needs to go next.

Immunity Challenge
Challenge: balance wooden blocks on a wobbly table that they hold by a rope - similar challenge to season's previous - always a good one! They have to spell "immunity" with the blocks, one at a time, which means they are doing it backwards.

Joe is the first to place his 2nd block. Whoa, Joe in the lead for the first time ever! Cydney is dead last, and moving at a snail's pace.

Joe has #5, followed by Cydney, and then Tai. Tai's was close to falling, but he saved it. And just as Jeff said that one slip could dump everything...Joe's dumps! Michele was in 2nd and HERS drops! Tai's in the lead...and HIS drops! Jason is now in the lead.

Joe starts over and his first block he put an I! Luckily he caught it in time.

Jason was doing well, but his drops! Oh no! And lo and behold, Cydney who was in dead last is now in the lead.

Joe now places the Y and then the I - and he figures is out...again. Oh my... and now he has the wrong letter again!

Michele loses everything and now Tai and Aubry both drop. Cydney now has 6 blocks in the lead. Jason is the only one who can catch her now. Come on Jason!

Cydney can sense Jason catching her and she is finally picking up the pace a little bit. Jason now only has 1 block left, too. Cydney can't reach her 8th block. Jason has his 8th! He placed and is on his way back and so does Cydney. Oh my, it's close. Noooooooo! Jason's dumps! He was so close! And it's Cydney with the win. Dang it! I really wanted Jason to win that!

Dara Camp - Pre-Tribal
Tai thinks that Michele is a bigger threat than Jason, so he's going to try to convince the group to vote for her. Joe looks at him like he's crazy. Joe would rather get rid of Jason. And just with that, Michele joined them. Tai makes small talk and said the 5 should stay strong, and he thinks Jason has given up.

Later, Aubry tells Tai that she agrees that Michele is the bigger threat. He said he's going to use his extra vote for Michele. Tai tells Jason he should vote for Michele. He isn't sure what he wants to do because he wanted to vote for Joe.

Cydney tells Joe that Jason needs to go. She doesn't want Tai dictating what the group should do. Cydney told Michele that Tai was pushing for her to go. She said she would do what she can to get them off of Michele's back. Michele knows she has to do some damage control at Tribal.

Cydney talks to Aubry and said she didn't want Tai dictating what they should do. Aubry agrees with Tai because Michele has not made anyone mad and everyone likes her. Cydney asked her which side she was going to choose. She said Tai was her core alliance, but she isn't sure what she wants to do. She thinks Tribal will be "alive" and she might be someone who is going to wake it up. Meaning - she hasn't made her mind up and what is said at Tribal will dictate which way she goes.

Tribal Council
Cydney said some people felt more comfortable than others. Michele said she would clear it up and said it was Tai who clearly felt more comfortable and tried to sway how things would go. Cydney said other's voices were not being heard, and it was his way or the highway.

Tai said he wanted more time to talk to Cydney but they didn't have time. Aubry seemed confused because she thought the whole group had an understanding so she is wondering why he needed more time with her. Michele also wondered the same thing and she feels on the outs. He said there is a big group and a smaller group. Michele thinks she knows where she sits in his group. She said she has proved her loyalty over and over, while Tai has screwed his alliances time and time again. She said you can't keep doing things the same and expecting different results. Tai just needs to stop talking! This is just getting worse, which is just what Michele is trying to do.

Aubry said she can't control what Tai says and it's clear that Cydney and Michele don't trust him.

Jeff asks Jason if it excites him that there are so many conversations that are not including him. He said that's exactly why he is not saying anything.

Oh dear...what is Tai going to do.

The Votes
As Jeff is going to tally the votes, Tai announces that he wants to use his advantage. The looks on everyone's faces were priceless. Shock. Disbelief. Paranoia. He goes and casts his 2nd vote, also for Michele.

Jason
Michele
Michele
Jason
Joe
Jason
Jason

Crap! Tai's vote didn't help! Well, that's a bummer. He was betrayed by his "alliance" and he was the only one who voted for Michele.
