JP and the girls are off to South Korea. What a romantic place...really? I know that's the first place I would think of for a romantic getaway...not! Who's idea was this any way? Wouldn't Latin or South America have been a more appropriate place? JP could have shown the girls more about his culture that way. The guy barely speaks English and they go somewhere where they speak Korean? Doesn't quite make sense to me. I guess it's an adventure and puts both him and the girls outside of their comfort zones together, but still.

Group Date
Chelsie, Cassandra, Elise, Danielle, Kat, Nikki

Nikki is very upset that she did not get a one-on-one date. And she is very upset that she has to spend the date with a bunch of people she doesn't like. This should make for a great time had by all!

For this date, they are going to be dancing to some K-Pop, and with the biggest K-Pop group, 2NE1. JP is the first to show off some of his moves. Kat was in her element. Nikki then pulls out the sprinkler...haha!

The group takes all of them through the moves to their dance, and the girls have to learn it. Kat was very over-confident and was showing the other girls what to do...which annoyed Nikki a lot.

They are told that they will be performing with 2NE1 at their show in Seoul, in front of thousands of people. Everyone was excited...except Nikki...who wanted to crap her pants.

For the performance, you could tell they were all having a good time, except for Nikki, who looked like she wanted to throw up and run off stage...or push some of the girls off of the stage. Juan Pablo was killing it. Kat was really going over-the-top and really trying to put her moves front and center. She was sure that was going to get her the rose.

Later that night, things got real. Nikki shared with the group that she thinks that some people are there just to have fun. She thinks Kat is fake and is different with JP and with the girls. Meanwhile, Kat wanted JP to know that she wasn't just all fun and games and there is more to her than that. She shared about her parent's divorce and how hard that was on her, and her father was an alcoholic and wasn't really a dad to her.

Nikki continues to rub people the wrong way in the group. Everyone thinks she is extremely negative and they are afraid that Juan Pablo isn't seeing that. When she gets to talk to Juan Pablo, she tells him that she really wants to start opening up, but she's nervous and shy around some of the other girls who are bigger personalities than her. She told him that she is really glad that she's there.

Nikki gets the rose, and the other girls are grossed out. They don't think she would be a good role model for Camila because she's so negative.

One-On-One Date: Sharleen

Oh boy...I think this is going to be one of the most awkward dates...ever. She said she's glad to get the one-on-one, but when she says it, it's so hard to believe her. She shows absolutely no emotion whatsoever. I guess maybe that's just her personality...or she just really, really, doesn't want to be there and is totally not believable when she says she wants to be there.

Their date is walking through a marketplace and some shops trying food and some clothes. They both struggled with language, not only with each other, but with the Koreans. Then they went to a teahouse. She is hoping to dig deeper in their connection beyond their chemistry. Surprisingly, she actually smiled a couple times. Again, he said he couldn't wait to hear her sing, and she again, reacted disgustingly. Why doesn't she want him to hear her sing? That's what she has a degree in and does for a living. I could see why Nikki, maybe, wouldn't want him to hear her sing, but come on...what's the deal. In an open courtyard, he begs her to sing and she calls him a brat. Loosen up lady! He told her he would close his eyes. She walked about as far away from him as she could and faced the other way. The good news is, she's really good. The bad news is, she's still very insecure about it. They shared a kiss, and it wasn't totally disgusting like the last one. So at least they are improving their relationship in one area. They still need to work on their boringness though.

Finally, at dinner, they started to have some real conversations and found a connection in the way that they left their home countries and felt a bit lost. She then worries about telling him that she hasn't really thought about having kids, and she didn't know how he would feel about that. She said she dated a guy who had a 4-year-old, and she wasn't ready at that point. I commend her for being honest. If she is anything, she is honest. And for that, she gets the rose. But then, Juan Pablo said that he was glad she was honest, but knows that she knows about Camila, and the fact that she is there. taking time away from her life is because she wants to find someone and have a family. Um...I don't think that's what she said, or what she's thinking...at all!

Back at the house, the girls are thinking that she will not be coming back because they don't understand what kind of a connection they could have. They said that she has told them that she thinks their conversations are boring.

Group Date
Lauren, Clare, Andi, Alli, Kelly, Renee

They do some karaoke, and then do some paddle boats. Clare is bummed because she wants JP all to herself.

They then head to a place with fish swimming in the floor, where they are going to be getting a pedicure. The fish actually eat the dead skin off their feet! Ew! Wow, that's romantic.

Later, Clare tells Juan Pablo, that she hopes they aren't going to eat some octopus. Juan Pablo laughs, and says she just made the biggest mistake, because that's exactly what he was going to make her do.

At dinner, Renee gets the first one-on-one time. She is still waiting for their first kiss. This time, she decides she's going to go for it. He has decided that he's kissed 6 girls already, and even though he wants to kiss her, he's trying not to kiss anyone on tonight's date. Very interesting.

Andi and JP talk about hobbies. He says he likes to dance and she very dryly said he didn't have great moves. He says "scuse me?" Haha! Obviously, she was just playfully joking, and he got it. They have a very weird way of interacting with each other. That could be said for a lot of the girls. So many of them are so different, and he has such a different connection with each of them.

Lauren gets some alone time, and she asks for a kiss, and he said "no" because he has a daughter and doesn't want her to see her dad kissing a lot of girls...which is the same thing he told Renee. Rightfully so, she knows he's kissed lots of other girls, so how could she not think that there was something he wasn't seeing with her. I agree with why he's not kissing anyone tonight, but I think maybe he should have started this philosophy on night 1, and let all of the girls know about it. Just sayin'...it's a little late to start being all responsible. Afterwards, she breaks down crying, and he comforts her. She tries to stay positive, but she thinks she might have blown it.

Clare is very territorial since she had the first date, and everyone notices how she is always trying to be next to him and get time with him. She gets her one-on-one time, finally, and JP broke his rule of no kissing on this date. Better hope Lauren and Renee don't see this.

He offers Andi the rose, and I thought Clare was going to get whiplash! Her head whipped around in shock that it wasn't her! That was kind of funny!

Cocktail Party
The girls decided that those who had roses should let the other girls get their time. Sharleen is very willing to abide by this, but something tells me Nikki won't.

Clare gets one-on-one time briefly, again, and Nikki decides she's going to interrupt and get some time. And so the feud between Clare and Nikki begins. Apparently, throughout the season, they really hate each other.

Nikki explains a "scientific" fact that girls look away when they like a guy, and guys look girls in the eye when they like a girl. The conversation then goes to him mentioning about tension in the house. She thinks that things are fine in the house. Then, she realizes that he had just talked to Clare, and thinks that she must have hinted something to him, since Clare doesn't like her. And so the feud grows...

They end up together in a group conversation, and Nikki hints that Clare might have hinted something to Juan Pablo, but Clare said she didn't. You can see the hatred they each have for each other when the other is talking. Clare comes right out and said that Nikki rubs people the wrong way, and she thinks she acts differently in the house than she does with him. Oh boy...things are going to be pretty catty from here on out. At least between Nikki and Clare.

Rose Ceremony
