The Bachelorette, Ep. 12.3

It's the guys vs. Chad. The house is a wreck after the Rose Ceremony and everyone is on edge because Chad and Daniel are both still there. They hate everything about them. They hate how much food they eat, how much they talk about their bodies and working out, pretty much just them breathing. Evan laughs as Chad and Daniel communicate by grunts as they are working out together.

1-on-1 Date: Chase - "Let's get physical."
A similar date to one in the past - hot yoga. She wanted the date with him because he didn't get a date last week. This date will be a first for both of them. They walk in and it is literally 100°F. The instructor asks them how long they've been intimate. And...already super awkward. They get started, and the gyrating and vocal moaning...yeah, super awkward. None of what they are doing looks anything like yoga. They are having an "anger-gasm" by shaking and screaming. JoJo said she wants to die because she is so embarrassed. They finally get to some yoga poses. And now it gets super "intimate" as she is sitting on top of him, looking deeply into his eyes. He looks like he wants to kiss her. And there it is! He went for it.

Later, she talked about how much fun he made the day for her. She said she felt connected to him during their yoga session. She said he made her feel safe and protected and very comfortable even though it was uncomfortable at times. He opened up about his parents divorcing when he was younger. This has helped him to realize that getting married, to him, is a "one and done" situation. She wondered if this situation is too fast for him. He said initially he thought it might be, but if everything feels right and they have enough love to overcome the fear, then why not. He's got some really good answers, and he seems really well-spoken. She told him that she is excited about him, and she offers him the rose.

One last surprise...let me guess...a private concert? Wow, how in the world did I guess that? No clue who this is. Oh, it's Charles Kelley from Lady Antebellum, or as I know him - Josh Kelley's brother.

Group Date: Nick, Chad, James F., Evan, Christian, Daniel, Vinny, Ali, Grant, Jordan, Wells, Alex - "Love has no secrets." Chad wants the rest of them to go. 12 is too many for a group and he would rather not be in the group. Of course, this rubs all the guys the wrong way. The other guys would all rather go on a group date then have no date at all. He yelled at Evan to stop talking when he asked if there is a sharpie they could cross his name off since he didn't want to go. Then they started talking about if it was a team challenge they hoped it is a bench pressing contest and not a spelling challenge. Ooh, the gloves are coming off now! Jordan is getting involved, so he says that Jordan is just a 27-year-old failed football player who has done nothing with his life but throw a piece of leather. Alex said they can all see there's a giant piece of s*** smelling over there, and Chad comes back with that Alex is a 25-year-old **** sitting right there. It's getting heated and they are pretty much ready to take it outside.

JoJo tells them they are there for a show and she doesn't want to tell them what it is just yet. A very weird lady comes to the stage and starts breathing heavily, and yeah, it's about what you are thinking. She then goes into telling stories. So, yep, you guessed it. The guys are going to have to do the same thing...on stage...in front of a ton of people. The show is called "Sex Talks" where they are going to talk about their deepest, darkest, sex stories. They're supposed to get up on a stage and talk about something sexual. From what RealitySteve reported, they won't be able to even air most of what the guys and JoJo shared, as it is disgusting nd VERY inappropriate. RealitySteve went into great detail about what each one shared...and I can tell you that none of it is worth repeating. I'm sure you can find the video somewhere if you really want to see it.

Chad doesn't want to do it because his life is personal and her life is personal. They aren't at a place where they should be sharing those kinds of things. Whoa...who would have thought that Chad would be the voice of reason here. Shocked. Evan wants to refer to Chad somehow in his story.

JoJo is excited because she thinks sex in a relationship is important, and how a guy can communicate about it says a lot about them. Let's just say that JoJo found all of the guys absolutely hysterical and she was about on the floor in tears from laughing.

I will mention what Evan talked about since it is relevant to the drama of the episode. Evan talks about owning erectile dysfunction clinics, and he said his story is a cautionary tale about using steroids. Yup....that would be Chad. Chad already looks like he wants to kill Evan. Evan goes on to say that some of the side effects of steroid use are irritability and withdrawal from people. Saying things like "the girl I'm trying to date is nagging me". Ouch. Most of the guys are laughing, some are uncomfortable, and Chad and Daniel are literally fuming. Wells, as another one of the small guys in the house applauded Evan for having the balls to get up and take a stand. Grant thinks that Evan went too far and when Chad takes Evan out, no one will be surprised. So, Evan goes to take his seat and he climbs over some of the guys, including Chad, next thing he knows, he's being pulled backward by his shirt! The ripping sound definitely sounded like a sound effect, but his shirt was definitely pulled way out of place and he was jerked backward. JoJo witnessed it and was immediately alarmed, saying that violence is never the answer. Chad just happens to be up next, and he says he needs a volunteer. He asks JoJo to come up. Great, as if this can't get any more awkward. She checked with Evan to make sure he was OK before she went up. Chad tells her that no one knows about their relationship and it's between them. He then pulls her in for a kiss, which she seemed to resist and shyly moved her head to the side to rebuff him. He angrily tried to put the mic back in the holder as she asked, "Is that it?". When he couldn't get the mic back in the stand, he literally (and loudly) dropped the mic, and walked off the stage. That was epic!

The guys leave and they all congratulate Evan. Chad is walking around like a meathead. He walks ver to Evan and pushes him hard and said "you're going to die". Evan said it was all in fun and they are there to have a good time. Even Daniel was kind of sticking up for Evan and said that Chad should give him props for going up there and doing what he did. Well, that's probably the end of the Chad/Daniel bromance. Jordan asks what happened to Chad's hand which is all skinned up and bloody. He said the door got in the way of his hand and if he can't lift he's "going to murder someone". That's a quote. Geez, 'roid rage much?! Jordan starts to get worried for everyone's safety.

So, we still have the cocktail portion of the date to get to. I'm sure the drama is just getting started. JoJo tells them all that she was so impressed with all their performances. Jordan is the first to talk to her. He talks about the serious girlfriend he had a few years ago and how he let his career get in the way. RealitySteve says that's not entirely accurate. He said he's feeling things he hasn't felt in awhile. He said that he has only told 1 girl that he loves her, and that's a meaningful word for him, so he doesn't say it when he doesn't mean it.

She talks to a few guys, and then Chad interrupts. JoJo shoos him away and says that Nick just sat down and could he give them a few minutes. He walks away and goes to pout, and as he pouts, he decides to very loudly scoot a chair across the floor and be a total distraction. Wow. If this is really him and not initiated by the production, this guy needs some serious help and a timeout. She tells Nick to ignore him, but then he starts to whistle loudly, so they decide to go back inside.

Chad joins the rest of the guys inside, and in what seemed like a very staged interrogation, Vinny starts to ask Chad questions as if he's trying to remember the words he was told to memorize. He asks him how he thought his performance went, how he felt when she turned away from his kiss, and what happened when Evan came to sit back down. He said he thought his performance went pretty well, but not as good as he had hoped. He said the reason she turned away is because she didn't want to kiss him in front of the other guys and if he was in her shoes he would have turned him down, too. At least he tried. Then he said that the thing with Evan was that he wasn't so much mad about what he said because he can say whatever he wants, but when he came to sit back down he wanted him to let him come out first, but Evan plowed his way through and tried to push HIM down. Yeah, not quite, but good try. He thinks Evan is just following him around the house and he wants to stand up to him because he's been bullied his whole life. Chad said he doesn't start things for no reason, he only reacts to things that happen to him. He said he only stands up for himself and he's not a bad or mean guy.

Evan continues to poke the bear. He asks Chad why he's here. Chad acts like he has no idea what he's saying. Evan said they had an altercation and Chad acts like nothing happened. He said Evan is trying to bully him and he should leave him alone and do his own thing. He tells him to just stay away from him. That's hilarious! Evan just stares at him in disbelief of what he just said. For some reason, a bunch of the guys, including Chad, just get up one by one and leave. Kind of weird.

Chad again, is just super creepy as he walks behind JoJo talking to numerous guys. He doesn't try to interrupt, but he critiques each of their conversations again. So funny! He thinks that he is saving her from the losers. Chad tells her that when he got to the date, he would have rather just chilled. She asked if he didn't want to come, and he said "not with 12 other dudes". She said maybe he wouldn't have gotten the one-on-one and he said he didn't think that would be the case based on their previous connection. She was like, well, don't be so sure about that. She asked about what happened with Evan. He again said the same story he gave the guys. He said Evan is bullying the bully. She told him not to be the bully. She said she is very confused by him because he seems so different around the guys than he is with her. Evan walks in, and Chad says "Damn it, Evan." He gives in and lets him have his time, but then makes fun of him as he walks away. He's only distracted by seeing himself in the mirror.

Evan tells her that he hasn't been as strong as he should be. He said that Chad has 2 completely different personalities. He said that even if it doesn't work out with them, it's not going to work out with Chad. If Chad stays, he won't stay. She asked if his mind was made up and he said it was. She appreciated him addressing the issue and she has a lot to think about. She wants Evan to be there, but there are things that she likes about Chad so she doesn't want to totally throw him out.

Evan gets the group date rose! Yay for the underdog! Before she gave the rose to him, she wanted to talk to him again outside. Chad thinks Evan knows he's going home and that he's going to be around awhile. Some of the guys wonder if JoJo is thinking about his kids and maybe with the ultimatum, she might just tell him that it's not going to work and send him back to his family. She asked him if he would accept the rose because she really wanted him to be there. He couldn't be happier and was grinning from ear to ear when he came back in. Chad was dumbfounded. She said in front of the group that she gave the rose to Evan because she was proud of him for being honest with her. They are ready to say their goodbyes and she gets the feeling that Chad has a problem and wants to say something. She asks if he's OK, and his response was "Is this real? Is this a real scenario right now? You're actually right now vibing this dude?" She said, "Yes, and I don't appreciate what you're doing right now." You could hear a pin drop...the guys are all so uncomfortable. They tried to tell him that he has a problem for interrupting her when she was trying to talk. He said he was just being curious. He seems drunk again because he seems to be really slurring his words. She told him he was being disrespectful and she doesn't like that side of him. Way to go, JoJo for putting him in his place. Granted, Grant really egged him on by asking him to explain what he was thinking and why he was interrupting her. And that just led to him inserting his foot into his giant mouth.

On the way out, he pouts again and asks where the door is and spits. He leaves with "No girl on planet Earth chooses Evan ever, for anything, other than to come sweep their front yard." Jordan says that Chad is a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off. They all now assume it is clear that Chad is going home. One should know to never assume anything.

At the House
The next day, the guys tell the guys not on the date what happened. Derek said he was scared to go to sleep last night because his bed is right next to Chad and he didn't know what he might do. They all decided they needed to do something before things got out of hand. Cut to a security guard watching Chad sleep. That is a first, for sure.

Chad thinks they are a bunch of sissies and he's never met a bunch of woosies like them. Daniel tries to tell him to use some logic and reasoning and have a cooler head.

Security guard still walking around. Chad just casually eating a sweet potato. Daniel tells him that he's a loose cannon because he punched a door the other day. He said the first couple days it wasn't a big issue, but as the days go on, he gets dragged into his negativity when he hangs out with him. He asks them to compare him to Hitler and Chad said, "Let's not compare me to Hitler." So Daniel says maybe Donald Trump then. If he's like that maybe he needs to dial it down a notch to say, Mussolini or Bush. What?! What are you saying right now, Daniel? Meanwhile, Chad just chomps on his sweet potato and then a weird, random, huge piece of lettuce. This could not be more fake.

1-on-1 Date: James T. - "Let's kick it old school."
We don't see how or when, but JoJo and James are dressed up in old-fashioned clothes, driving in an old-fashioned car. They are going swing dancing. They walk in on an old couple dancing. She told them they make a cute couple and that she has been dancing for over 45 years. She fell in love with her dance partner years and years ago.

James is terrified because he's a horrible dancer. He was not getting it at all, but he was having fun with it. Eventually, he does start to pick up some steps...it's a miracle!

They walk outside after their lesson to find a flash mob of sorts. People were swing dancing all over the place, so they just joined right in with their own moves. They had no idea what they were doing, but they were having a blast.

Later, they're outside under the big moon and James just can't believe that he's there. He wonders what her favorite thing from the day was. She said seeing how happy he was and that made her happy. She likes James, but she's not sure they have that romantic connection. She talks again about falling in love with Ben and thinking that she was going to get engaged because he told her he loved her, too. She said she came out of that knowing that she wants someone who is honest and genuine. She thinks he is so positive and would be a great life partner. He said he's not perfect. He said he was made fun of in school because of his big ears and long neck. He said he's always considered himself an underdog and he let that affect him probably longer than it should have. Because of that, he always thinks he is not deserving of pretty girls. She told him that he needs to know that he's the full package. She thinks he is good looking and is sweet. She offered him the rose, and of course, he accepted. This has helped him to feel more confident and think better of himself.

He surprised her by bringing his guitar and playing a song for her. She was super excited and blown away.

At the House
There is an episode tomorrow, so if you think we are ending with a normal Rose Ceremony tonight, you would be wrong. It's going to be one of those awful cliffhangers.

Chris greets the guys and he tells them that she decided there was not going to be a cocktail party. He said when she shows up, they will go right into the Rose Ceremony. But, instead of the cocktail party, she was going to spend the day with them and having a pool party. Chad doesn't know why the guys are so excited to see JoJo in a swimsuit. He said he would rather NOT see her in a bathing suit just so the other guys could NOT see her in a bathing suit. He said he can probably figure out what she looks like because he can tell through her dress. OK, creepy. He just can't be happy with anything, can he?!

Evan got up right away and left the room to follow Chris. He asked if they could chat. The guys wonder what in the world he could be doing because he has a rose. Really guys? You can't think of anything he might want to talk to Chris about? And no, it's not for advice, like one guy suggested. He said some things have happened and he thought Chris should be aware of. He talked about Chad ripping his shirt, pushing him and he punched a door. He said Derek left the room because he was afraid to be in the room with him. Chris asked if it was just testosterone and a lot of guys all together, because that's happened before. Evan said he doesn't think that's it, and that there is just something with this guy. Having security guards around is great, but they can't be there all the time. Chris said he takes things like this seriously, so he would step in.

Chris comes in and asks Chad to come outside. Chris tells him that there has been talk of violence and threats of violence and that some of the guys don't feel comfortable. Chad just thinks it's ridiculous. Chad said he has just been trying to defend himself and that Evan tried to push him. Of course, Chris is like, um...Evan is saying that you pushed him! Chris said that Evan told him that it wasn't so much about Chad pulling his shirt, it was about him making comments about him being on steroids, and in fact some of the other guys have said that, too. Chad said there was no way he could have brought them with him. Everything is all about the guys and not with him. Chris said he has to draw the line, this is his chance to settle things. Chris told him he wasn't going to tell him he was leaving, but Chad should go inside and say some things that will go over well. He seems less than thrilled to do so. His ITM as he's walking in, he's talking about wanting to cut all the guys' arms and legs off and there will just be a bunch of torsos lying around. Yeah, this probably isn't going to end well.

Just so you know, all the promos with all the blood is NOT because Chad actually beat the guys up. They were injuries from horsing around in the pool. To be continued, tomorrow....
