This season's "expect the unexpected" twist is...a season full of twists! Each week a surprise guest will show up and present a new twist. Talk about blowing everyone's game plan right out of the water...over and over and over.
Rumor has it that on the 2-night premiere, someone will be evicted on the second episode! The fun starts next Wednesday, June 24 at 8:00 EST.
The Cast
Right away I noticed that there are only 14 houseguests. That is not as many as there normally are. So, the question is: who else is going to be joining the cast? Returning players? The season is going to be 97 days as usual, so the number of eliminations doesn't figure out for the number of weeks.
Other observations:
- This is a first, there is no one over the age of 33 (so far).
- What's up with all the blondes? 4 super blondes and 1 light brown/blonde out of 7 girls.
- Does anyone else think that Austin looks like an extremely hairy former houseguest, Dan Gheesling?
- Da'Vonne's father is a pastor -- please don't let her be ANYTHING like Jacosta!
- Let's just get this out of the way: Clay is totes adorbs! Classic handsome Texan.
Everyone is talking about the spoiler that one of the houseguests is the first transgender houseguest. Apparently this was not going to be disclosed until the show aired, but TMZ leaked it. You could look at all of the photos below and try to guess who it might be, but I'll save you the trouble, because it is pretty darn near impossible! I know I was shocked to learn which one it was. The transgender houseguest is...Audrey! You would never know it to look at her or listen to her. We don't know much about her story, or just exactly how far she is in her transition, however, we may know more in the first episode. She says she plans on sharing her story with her fellow houseguests when she meets them on the first night.
