Big Brother, Ep. 18.20

Nomination Fallout
Da'Vonne doesn't like being in the dark with what's going on. She sets her sights on Bridgette who is now alone in the game. She wants her to push Nicole to help her game.

Paul tells Bridgette that Da'Vonne is shady. He wants her gone. He tells her that she and Paulie are both pawns this week. If Bridgette ends up going home, that's fine with him, too. He's got his bases covered if she stays or if she goes. She starts to feel a little bit relieved.

Paulie & Zakiyah
Zakiyah can't figure out why Paulie is being so distant and cold to her. They used to talk to each other everyday and shared the same bed. He was starting to feel smothered by her and she's got a jealous side to her. He decided he wanted to have the HOH room to himself. She sensed him being distant so she said she would sleep downstairs, and he said he thought that was the plan. He thinks she's being childish and she thinks he's being mean. Womp womp....

She finally had enough and went to talk to him. It turns into an argument and she gets uncomfortable. He thought that was funny because he told Paul that she makes everyone else uncomfortable. He said he wasn't trying to make her feel bad. He doesn't deal with drama so he wanted to leave it be, but she didn't want to go to bed upset. Womp womp...

A day later and they were all cuddly again.

When a Little Fun Goes a Little Wrong
Paul played a joke on Michelle. He sprayed shaving cream in her drink. She FREAKED OUT screaming at the top of her lungs. She gargled and screamed. She grabbed some apples and threw them at him REALLY HARD. It left an apple-sized red welt on his back. Then SHE got really upset because she was afraid she really hurt him. She said it's right where his kidney is and she started bawling her eyes out. It was sad, but it was also hilarious at the same time. He kept saying it didn't hurt, and she was worried that she was an ugly crier.

So this marks the second time that we have seen her flat-out sob over the stupidest thing. The last time it was because she didn't want Frank to leave (when she could have saved him with her Veto) and she cried because she at least wanted to hang out with him in the Jury house.

Strategizing
Da'Vonne asked Paul and Paulie who the backup nominee would be. Paulie told Nicole and Corey that she was pressing for info.

Veto
Players: Paul, Bridgette, Paulie, Corey (drawn by Paul), Victor (Paulie's houseguests' choice), Natalie (drawn by Bridgette)

Challenge: it's the one where they have to hold 3 buttons in a track lane and wait for the monitor to say "Go" and the last one to race to the end of the lane and press the button is out. False starts for going on a word that isn't "Go" and releasing a button are out.

Corey is psyched because he won State in track and couldn't wait to show off his racing skills, so you know what's about to happen, right?

Race 1: Corey false starts! He is out first!

Race 2: Paulie was first (by quite a lot), Bridgette came in last and was eliminated

Race 3: Natalie's head is in the clouds and she comes in last

Race 4: Paul starts singing "Doe, a dear" when "Doe" comes up lol! Paul comes in last by just a little bit and he's out

Race 5: Paulie is the clear winner over a slightly stumbling Victor

Paulie wins the Power of Veto to save himself! Woohoo!

PP
I am really, REALLY starting to LOVE the PP (Paul and Paulie dynamic). They are hilarious! I love when they refer to themselves in the third person, like "PP's gonna get the job done." LOL "The PP Plan has been perfectly executed."

Strategizing
The backdoor plan to get Da'Vonne out seems to be on track. It's a miracle. Usually planning something so specific doesn't work out so well. Let's see if Paul actually follows through. We know he wanted Bridgette out really badly.

Da'Vonne asks Bridgette what Plan B is. She thinks Nicole is the best bet to throw under the bus and campaign for Paul to put her up next to her. Bridgette really didn't want to be a part of anything. She is hoping to lay low and that Paul will keep his word.

Paulie tells Zakiyah the plan to take out Da'Vonne. She doesn't like this idea because she likes Da'Vonne. She tells him that she thinks Bridgette will still go even if Da'Vonne is next to her. Paulie asks who she would like to target next week. She thinks they should take Victor out (because he started out in the whole alliance with Jozea) and then Paul.

Paulie took this info directly to Paul and Victor. This really got on Paul's nerves. He said he would gladly put Zakiyah on the block for stirring this up.

Da'Vonne keeps pushing Paul to put up Nicole because she already volunteered. She wants someone who hasn't been up to go up. Paul doesn't want to put up someone who will freak out. Nicole would freak out, Natalie would freak out. Paul tells her he is 100% positive that Bridgette is going home. She is not comfortable going on the block, but it looks like she's not going to have a choice.

Veto Ceremony
Paulie uses the Veto on himself, of course.

Paul replaces Paulie with...Da'Vonne! Woohoo!

I loved Paul's speech. He said he has made his objective this week very clear. He wants someone he trusts on the block who will remain calm and make the rest of the week go smoothly.

Paul is happy with either Bridgette or Da'Vonne going home, and he will let the house decide. It better be Da'Vonne! I'm so ready for her to be gone.
