Big Brother, Ep. 18.17

Nomination Fallout
Bridgette is still a mess because James lied to her. I think she must not have watched this show before. Everyone lies! Frank thinks he has no backbone because he caved and did what the house wanted him to.

Frank tried to talk to James. James said he doesn't know why when there's a fight his name always comes up. Frank said the drama never started with him, it was the blackjack dealer. James wasn't falling for it, and he didn't want to be on Frank's sinking ship.

Veto Comp
Players: James, Frank, Bridgette, Michelle, Da'Vonne, Nicole
Comp: OTEV! This year's annoying repeated phrase: D-d-d-d-d-d-ope! At least it wasn't quite as annoying at "Buttahhhhh!"

Round 1: James is out (he threw it)
Round 2: Da'Vonne is out
Round 3: Nicole is out
Round 4: Frank is out
Round 5; Bridgette is out, and Michelle wins the Veto

Wow, could the house have been more obvious in wanting Frank and Bridgette out? They were screaming for Michelle the entire comp, and when she found the last clue and beat Bridgette up the ramp, they LOST it - screaming and jumping up and down like crazy people.

What did we learn from this comp? Apparently, Michelle's nickname is "Meech". Paul kept yelling it incessantly, as did everyone else. Who knew?

Strategizing
Frank tells Michelle that she should use the Veto because people love to see it used. She doesn't want to use it. She said he needs to start throwing Bridgette under the bus. He said he wouldn't do that. He said her better play is to use it so they can backdoor Da'Vonne. Frank said she should want to have someone like him and Bridgette on her side. She said at the beginning of the game, she really wanted to play with him. She actually had a little crush on him...and then he paired up with Bridgette. That let her "salty". She wonders if she can get Bridgette out of the way, she could take her place and be his ride or die.

Frank and Michelle have been talking too long, and James, Paul, and Da'Vonne do not like seeing the Veto winner and the person they want gone talking. They know Frank talks a good game and can be persuasive, so they have to put a stop to it. They barge in and Frank begs for time to plead his case. Paul didn't appreciate getting thrown out of the room. He starts to stew and he looks like he could blow any second. Da'Vonne wants him to and she said she has his back. Paulie tried to calm him down so he didn't do something stupid. Paul said he wanted to call Frank out on all of his crap. He confronts him in the kitchen and wonders what his end game is if he comes off the block. Paul said he didn't want to go up if he comes off. Frank said he doesn't have the power to nominate anyone because he's on the block! Paul thinks that Frank is trying to backdoor him but Frank said his name has never come up. Paul is really making a mountain out of a mole hill...I'm not sure what he's trying to accomplish, other than just making people annoyed at Frank?

Oh great...James calls a house meeting to decide what should be done with the Veto. Paul leads the meeting and said they should decide what's going to happen. Frank said he wants it used and he wants Da'Vonne put up in his place. Paulie said he doesn't like the way things are going down, and he would have liked to pull Frank aside and tell him the votes weren't going to be there for him, sorry, and he hates to see him trying to make something happen when it's not going to. One of them is going home. That's all Paulie wanted to say and left.

Bridgette tried to talk to Michelle and it was awkward because they just don't ever talk. Bridgette feels attacked by Michelle because she avoids her and refuses to talk to her. Michelle said she's nice to her sometimes. She said she doesn't like how she acts when she's around Frank. Michelle said Bridgette is a threat to her and it's a game move. She used to be close to Frank and then she swooped and she got jealous. Bridgette said she tried to be nice to her, but Michelle is taking things personally when it's all just a game and she's holding a grudge over something personal. Michelle wonders if she should use the Veto on Frank so she can get Bridgette out of the way.

Veto Ceremony
Michelle decides not to use the Veto.
