Joe & Samantha...& Juelia
Juelia is devastated by how Joe is treating her. Confronting him did no good. He thinks he's done nothing wrong. Well, he's gonna have to do some major damage control because Juelia and Jade tell Samantha everything that has happened. Samantha stopped Juelia and said that this part of the conversation shouldn't take place without him in the conversation because it's all one-sided. She thinks it will be more honest in a group setting with everyone who is involved. Samantha thinks she is just causing drama. She said she is on Cloud 9 right now with Joe. Juelia thinks it's fishy that Samantha wants Joe in on the conversation. She thinks she should trust a friend over some guy. The girls are all rallying behind Juelia and they can't believe what Samantha did to her.
Samantha went and told Joe what they said to her. He told her that he is only there for her and she knew that even before they came to paradise.
Tanner tells Jared that Joe sent him a text that was from Samantha before the show. She told him to do anything at all costs to stay in paradise until she gets there. So...the scandal is that Samantha was in on this the whole time and her part in this was completely shady! The guys confront both Sam and Joe. Sam tries to push the guys out the door. Tanner knows they both have a battle plan. Whoa...now there's "hidden" cameras showing Sam talking to Joe. She told him what she said in her interview and that she said they hadn't talked and there was no plot. She basically wanted him to say the same thing so their stories would match up. He said he's already interviewed and she told him what he could say to basically cover it up. She tells the cameras in the interview that they are telling the truth and there was no conspiracy, but...the cameras shooting in between the bunk beds clearly show us that they are both LYING!!! She told him not to come across defensive, and then she notices the camera that was filming them and she goes and shuts the door. TOO LATE!!!
Amber Arrives
Amber is hoping that Dan is here. Funny how that worked out...he just broke up with Ashley S. last night! She asked if it was bad if she didn't want to ask the 411 before asking someone out. Samantha said, no, she did it. So, she asks Dan. Dan said he wanted to talk to her. Meanwhile, Ashley S. is sad/happy to see Amber. She is crying but she says she is so happy to see her because she just makes her smile. I'm so confused.
Dan fills Amber in on where he's at with Ashley S. He said they hit it off early on, but recently he's had some questions. He told her that she told him that she's there for him and doesn't want to be there if she's not with him. He said he wanted to talk to her before he accepts her offer.
He talks to Ashley and he apologized for not coming to talk to her all day. He said he deals with things by pulling back. He wanted to clear the air, but she is mad at him because he can't be a man to her all day. He couldn't just tell her that he didn't like her and not lead her on. He said he still has feelings for her and what happened the night before didn't change that. Well, that's kind of something confusing to say.
Later Ashley has a breakdown and she says Dan is basically a horrible person. He led her on and doesn't even care. She then goes off to flirt with some of the parrots. Jade said crazy Ashley is back. Kirk thinks her eyes are empty and she is out of her mind...as she is talking to the birds and letting them climb all over her head and then she smiled as it pooped in her hand. Later, "the onion girl" starts to come out...as Tanner said, and she is now talking to the crabs and saying how they smile. Tanner pitties Dan because breaking up with Ashley has made her crazy. I actually think she was bonkers way before this.
Megan & JJ's Date
Oh yeah, almost forgot about these 2! Feels like she asked him on a date days ago!
They go for a boat ride and then a ride on a jet ski. JJ says he finally feels a connection with someone in paradise.
Amber & Dan's Date
She's so nervous because he's so good looking.
They go for an evening walk around town. Randomly the crowd starts yelling "beso, beso, beso" (which means kiss)...so they did.
She goofily tells him that when her and her friends watch The Bachelorette they write down the guys' names when they get out of the limo and give them a star or no star. He got 2 stars.
She told him she was having fun, and then wasted no time just going for a kiss. She said she completely forgot about Ashley.
JJ Confronts Joe
JJ decides it's his turn to take a shot at Joe. JJ asks him "Were you here for one person, and one person only?" Joe's answer: "No. I was here to meet Samantha." Um? Joe asks JJ if he gave producers a list of people he would like to meet. He said he gave about 8 names and didn't have any bias toward any of them. Joe asked how that was different from him going on a date with Juelia and having a great time, and then the next day going on a better date and having a better connection with Samantha. He's missing the entire point of him using Juelia in order to stay to meet Sam. JJ said he lied and misled Jonathan and Jared said that Joe also told him that he didn't talk to Sam beforehand. He played the semantics game on whether or not he had "met" Sam before or "talked to" her before. Joe said if JJ was really there for love he wouldn't care about this. Joe said the whole thing doesn't affect him. You know things are bad when JJ is in the right here. Never in a million years did I imagine that JJ would come out of paradise looking better than Joe. Right now, it's not even a close comparison. Holy crap...Jared just said the exact same thing...literally seconds after I typed it. Scary! True and kind of scary! Jared said, "What planet am I on, where I would have came into paradise thinking that I would have liked JJ better than Joe right now. Like, what?! What's going on? Joe Bailey from America's sweetheart to America's Most Wanted in one week flat."
And it's at this point that they both stand up in each other's faces and almost come to blows. I love that JJ just called him Joseph. Ha!
So, there's just so much drama that we don't even get to any part of the Rose Ceremony. At least it isn't a 2-parter Rose Ceremony. I'd much rather them show it all next week then show part of it now and the rest next week. Can't wait to see what happens. Too bad it's the girls going home this week. I'm so ready to see Joe go!
