BBCAN 4: International Wildcards!

OK, so I just got SUPER excited for Season 4 of Big Brother Canada (BBCAN)!!! Voting is now taking place to vote 2 international Big Brother stars to enter the house with this season's houseguests!

Girls: I've only started following Big Brother UK (BBUK) the past 3 or 4 seasons, so I'm not very familiar with Nikki Grahame, but I have heard some of the housemates (as they're called in the UK) refer to her. I know absolutely nothing about Veronica because I have not watched any of Big Brother Italy. Based on that, I'll go with what little I know about Nikki and vote for her.

But as for the guys...I know them both well! Jase was on Season 5 and All-Stars Season 7. He is well-known for being a part of the 4 Horsemen alliance. He was also the very first victim of, what is now known as, the backdoor! And Tim. Where do you begin with Tim? I. Love. Tim. He competed on the first season of Big Brother Australia (BBAU) that I watched (back in 2013), and it has by far, been my favorite season of ANY Big Brother. A large part due to Tim. However, the rest of the cast on his season were superb. Love them all! But Tim...Tim is special. I gotta love an American player up for this wildcard, but I would do anything to watch Tim play Big Brother again! He's a legend, that's for sure.

There are 7 days left to vote, so do your part and make sure you vote for Tim. Sorry Jase. You cannot compete with the likes of Tim. Click here to vote! You don't have to be from Canada for your vote to count! You can also vote over and over!

I'm a little bummed because I was really wanting to watch Season 3 of BBCAN before Season 4 starts (I'm a little behind!). I'm so busy that there is no way that's going to happen now. I wasn't planning on blogging this season, but I might just have to now! This is so exciting!

The season premiere of BBCAN is Thursday, March 2 at 9:00 on Global. If you are outside of Canada, you won't be able to watch the videos on Global's website unless you use an app to mask your country of origin. However, I'm guessing all of the videos will be available on YouTube, as they have been in the past.

BBUK 15: Week 10 Recap - Finale Week

Week 10 in the BB house...

Punishment
The night before, Helen, Winston and Ash broke a huge rule: they busted through a door in their bedroom and broke "out of the house". We saw them running around a little bit behind the scenes before being ushered back in by security. Big Brother woke them up early this morning to tell them that not only did they break the rules by breaking out of the house, they also damaged the fixtures on the door. As a result, the whole house is being punished and none of them are allowed back in the bedroom. The hot water has been turned off and food has been removed, so they will be on basic rations. These punishments will be in place until Big Brother determines that they have understood the rules.

Not one of them apologized to the rest of the house for what they did. Helen said "I feel guilty", but that's it.

Ash was the first one to properly apologize, but the others didn't think it was really sincere.

The 3 offenders decided to perform an "I'm sorry" poem to the rest of the house. And then they attempted to "sing" "I'm sorry". It didn't come off too well because they laughed through the whole thing.

The other housemates get their revenge when Big Bother puts each of the offenders in a stockade. Each housemate gets to throw a bucket of slop on each of them and tell them what they think.

Big Brother finally said they had done enough, so the hot water was turned back on and they were allowed back in the bedroom.

BBUK 15: Week 8 Recap

Week 8 Recap

This week the public has all the power. All housemates will nominate, but the public has voted to give someone immunity. The winner is Ashleigh. So Ashleigh and Helen can't be nominated.

Nominations
Ashleigh nominates Pav and Zoe
Christopher nominates Zoe and Pav
Winston nominates Pav and Zoe
Mark nominates Pav and Chris
Mark nominates Chris and Christopher
Chris nominates Pav and Zoe
Pav nominates Ash and Chris
Ash nominates Pav and Christopher
Helen nominates Pav and Zoe

Everyone's reasons for nominating Pav and Zoe were all based on what the messages from the evicted housemates about being careful with them and they were gameplayers. They were also nominated because the remaining housemates want the original housemates to be safe, and think they deserve to stay more than Pav and Zoe, who have only been there for 2 weeks.

Nominated: Pav (7), Zoe (5), Chris (3)

Letters from Home
Each housemate has gotten letters from home. However, not everyone will get to read their letter. Winston is chosen to make decisions on who's letters get deleted.
Round 1: Helen or Mark -- he chooses to delete Mark's
Round 2: Ash or Chris -- he chooses to delete Chris's
Round 3: Pav or Zoe -- he chooses to delete Zoe's
Round 4: Ashleigh vs. Christopher -- he chooses to delete Christopher's

The housemates all got to watch as Winston made his choices. Winston was so smart about it. He really thought about what each person would want him to do and how much a letter would mean to them. In each case, everyone thought he made the right decision, and each person who didn't get a letter was really OK with his decision...and even were pleading with him to choose the other person. Well done Winston! Christopher was impressed that he has really listened to everyone in the house and gotten to know them so well. On a side note...it's kind of interesting that in each case, he chose to delete the letter of the person on the right (or the 2nd of the 2 options).

Everyone had been crying and hugging during and after the letters were read. And then...in a very beautiful moment between all of the housemates, there was a rainbow outside, and they all formed a line with their arms around each other. So sweet!

Shopping Task
There's a clue in the living room. It's a laptop. The task is the Housemates vs. the Internet in a number of online challenges.

Task #1: create an viral video, and it has to get at least 1000 hits on the BB website.
Helen is up first, and she is dressed up like a dinosaur, doing exercises. Chris said he was going to teach everything he knew about football...and he just stared at the ball. Ash wore just about nothing and danced around...oh my! Winston played the guitar and sang...and then went nuts!

Task #2: Christopher, Winston and Pav have to be web cam boys on the Big Boy webpage, and former housemate Luisa tells them what to do, and they have to do whatever she says. Christopher had to dress up like a pig and be a naughty piggy. Winston had to worship Luisa and had to take off his shirt in his mouth and roar like a lion. Pav had to cover himself in peanut butter jelly and bread. They earned 3,000 points toward their total.

Task #3: Mark, Ash, Zoe and Chris have to become a human search engine and answer viewer questions. If they answer honestly, they will earn a number of hits toward their total.

Task #4: On HousemateCompare.com, they need to guess how the public ranked them.
Categories:
Most Stuck Up--Zoe-correct
Most Creepy--Pav-incorrect (answer was Chris)
Most Two-Faced--Chris-incorrect (answer was Helen)
Most Boring--Ash-incorrect (answer was Pav)
Sits on the Fence the Most--Christopher-correct
Most Unhygenic--Christopher-incorrect (answer was Winston)
Most Plays Up To The Camera--Mark-incorrect (answer was Mark, but they got the "least" part wrong, which was Christopher and not Chris)
Most Lazy--Ash-incorrect (answer was Ash, but they got the "least" part wrong, which was Ashleigh instead of Mark)
Most Manipulative--Ashleigh-incorrect (answer was Helen)
Most False--Mark-incorrect (answer was Mark, but "Least" was Christopher and not Winston)
Most Interesting--Ashleigh-correct

They only got 3 correct and did not earn any hits toward their total.

Results: they got 5,000 hits total over all tasks. The number is revealed that they needed to get 10,000, which means they failed the task. They will be on basic rations for the week.

Evicted
Zoe is evicted! Kind of surprised it was her before Pav. She had so many cheers early on, I guess a few things that happened this week caused people to see her differently.

BBUK 15: Week 7 Recap

Week 7 in the BBUK house...

Kim
Eviction night, Kim wasn't feeling very well. Big Brother allowed her to leave to see a doctor. And then the biggest shocker of the 2-night eviction...KIM IS NOT COMING BACK! Whoa! Never expected that! Or...maybe we shouldn't be that surprised. I think she might be running away from Steven...using her illness as an out. I don't think she knows what to do about him and the guy she left back home. Big Brother first tells them that she is not coming back that night, but eventually, she decides not to return at all. Steven was in shock. He put on his shades so people wouldn't see him cry. He felt like he should be with her to comfort her while she is sick.

Big Brother made an exception for Steven and allowed him to talk to Kim in the hospital. He said he almost walked out. She said if he did that, she would slap him.

BBUK 15: Week 6 Recap

Week 6 in the BBUK house...

60 Second Challenges
Winston has to eat as many hot chili peppers as he can. Mark has to attach as many clips to his face as he can, and Helen has to fish out falls out of gunge with her mouth. Big Brother then informs them that that is not the real task. They have now set personal bests. In order to pass the task is to beat their personal bests! Oh man, that's rough!

Winston needs to eat more than 4 peppers. He stuffs his face full and starts to gag a little, but he got 5 down.
Mark needs to get more than 13 clips on his face. He did it, painfully, but he did it.
Helen needs to get more than 7 balls. She also passed.

The whole house gets a hamper of sweet treats.

Armageddon
Apparently, everything we know about the BBUK house is about to change. A surprise eviction, and 3 new housemates!

BBUK 15: Week 5 Recap

Week 5 Highlights in the BBUK House

Before They Were Housemates
Mark and Christopher are in the Diary Room. They will be shown pictures of the housemates, and they have to guess who they are. The other housemates are watching from the living room.

They correctly guessed Steven, Helen, Ash, Matthew, Mark. They got a reward of treats and photos from home.

Early Christmas
Apparently one of Christopher's nicknames in the house is Christmas. Big Brother tells him he will be bringing Christmas early to the other housemates. Big Brother is going to treat them to a Christmas feast, but only those who have not been naughty can partake. Chris's job is to figure out who's been naughty and who's been nice. He asks Ashleigh, Chris, Mark, Helen, Danielle and Marlon to come to the DR to find out who's been naughty and nice.

Father Christmas decides who will get the feast. They each get a present to open, and they either get a candycane or a lump of coal.

Ash--candycane
Mark--candycane
Marlon--lump of coal
Ashleigh--candycane
Danielle--lump of coal
Kimberly--candycane
Jale--candycane
Steven--candycane
Chris--candycane
Helen--lump of coal
Winston--candycane

Helen was not happy to be on the naughty list. Marlon actually said others deserved it more than him, so that's why he didn't get to go. Christopher said that Danielle and Helen didn't open up about their experience as much as the other ones did, and weren't as excited to visit Santa in the Grotto.

While Helen has a pity party for herself, the others are treated to a feast and some Christmas songs...which they sang along too...very horribly, I might add. But, they were having fun, and that's all that mattered. Mark's night was made when Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas" came on.

BBUK 15: Week 4 Recap

Week 4 Highlights in the BBUK House

Impressions
Winston, Ashleigh and Chris are given the task of doing impressions of their fellow housemates. They don't know it, but the rest of the house is watching them, and they will be trying to guess who they are impersonating.

Winston does Kimberly
Ashleigh does Ash
Winston does Matthew
Chris does Danielle
Ashleigh does Helen
Winston does Toya

They guessed them all correctly. Based more on what they said than actually sounding like who they were portraying. I think Winston was the best.

BBUK 15: Week 3 Recap

Week 3 Recap

Big Brother Prisoners
Mark and Pauline are the Prison Guards. What they don't know is, the prisoners have been told by Big Brother to sneak things past the guards. Some people are in charge of distracting the guards, while the others sneak to the evidence room to steal evidence. Then, they have to hide what they stole around the house. The first job is to  peel potatoes. Finally, Big Brother announced that that wasn't the real task. Pauline and Mark now have to find what was hidden. Whatever is not found, they are allowed to keep. Along with the items, they won some exercise equipment, a takeaway and some massage oils.

Vetos
The Power Couple are given the opportunity to Veto 3 of their housmates' nominations. Their nominations will not count. Toya and Matthew choose Steven, Marlon, and Ash.

Nominations
Christopher -- Chris and Marlon
Winston -- Danielle and Kimberly
Danielle -- Chris and Ash
Kimberly -- Chris and Marlon
Helen -- Danielle and Chris
Mark -- Chris and Danielle
Jale -- Steven and Ash
Chris -- Steven and Winston
Ashleigh -- Ash and Winston

Vetoed Nominations that don't count:
Ash -- Danielle and Chris
Steven -- Danielle and Chris
Marlon -- Ashleigh and Kimberly

Chris = 5 nominations
Danielle and Ash = 3 nominations
Winston, Steven and Marlon = 2 nominations

When Big Brother announced the nominations, he included Kimberly's name...that is because of the vetoed nominations. Big Brother said that Toya and Matthew vetoed Ash, Steven and Marlon. By process of elimination, they can figure out who nominated Kimberly.

As a result of this, a huge fight ensues among all of the housemates. First it's Winston and Toya, then it's Ash and Toya. And then back to Toya and Winston. Helen and Ashleigh physically dragged Toya to the bathroom. Matthew was left to try to rationally defend and explain their decision with the group. I thought he handled himself really well.

Toya addressed everyone and said that her and Matt didn't even get to vote, and they were hoping that people's true colors would come out. And that's exactly what happened. She then blew up in the Diary Room. She said if Ash tries to apologize, she will pack up her bags because she will blow up. And she thinks they are childish? Her biggest complaints were that Ash called her a Prick (which was after she screamed at the group to "calm the f*** down!") and with Winston just being a childish idiot who pees on the toilet seat.

The next day, Toya tells Big Brother that if Marlon stays after eviction, she will leave the house. She said there is no chance of reconciliation between her, Marlon, Winston and Ash; "it's not gonna happen." Meanwhile the guys have had enough of her as well, and they can't even look at her.

Power Couple Save

BBUK 15: Week 2 Recap

It's Week
2 in the BBUK House...

Mystic Mark
Big Brother has Mark uses his psychic powers to predict the future for 3 housemates.
Danielle - he said it could be her to be evicted
Winston - royal blue aura, which means he's loyal; something about a queen who was powerful...she had blonde hair, so Mark said that was Tamara, and thought that was a good sign
Helen - card with 6 cups represents the 6 people around her, then gets card with 5 cups which means one person goes away...she listed Tamara as one of the people in her group, and she was evicted!

A few days later, Mark decides to read tea leaves. He sees a face that looks like Marlon, and there was also the letter M. He, Ashleigh and Toya were there, and they all believe now that he is the Power Housemate.

Chris - Power Housemate

BBUK 15: Week 1 Recap

Power Lunch in the Power Pad
Pauline gets a power lunch in the Power Pad and invites Mark, Danielle and Helen. As a special bonus, they all get to have their luggage.

Challenge
Housemates must line themselves up in order to match a category. Watching from the Diary Room, Christopher and Pauline must guess from 3 options, which category they are ranking. Pauline and Christopher worked really well together and got all but a couple correct.

Later, Pauline gets a party in the Power Pad to have with the 3 she had lunch with and 4 other guests. She invites Christopher, Winston, Steven and Matthew.

Big Brother UK 15: 2014 2-Part Launch

I have been so busy, that I actually, very sadly, missed the entire Big Brother Canada (BBCAN) season 2. I was really looking forward to watching it week by week, but it just didn't happen. I'm going to try to do better with the UK and hopefully catch up with Canada Season 2 at some point.

So, this summer's BBUK theme is: Powertrip. Oh my...here we go! Can I just say, that I didn't think I would miss them so much, but I really miss seeing last season's cast! Callum, Jack and Joe, Sam, and even Dexter and Gina! Hopefully this season's cast will be just as good.

Big Brother Around the World, Next Up: Australia!

Big Brother has something for everyone: comedy, drama, competition, "romance", mystery, and twists...all rolled into 1 show. What more could you want?

And...it has happened again, I have found another version of Big Brother that I am now COMPLETELY obsessed with! This time it is Australia! After one of the worst, if not THE worst season of Big Brother this season, it is so refreshing and so much fun to see how other countries do it. I have to say right now, I would take any of the others over ours...and it kills me to say that, because I have loved Big Brother since Season 1. I have been so surprised just how much I've loved the other versions. I especially love the casts of Canada and Australia.

Canada
After loving Big Brother for the US version alone, for so many years, I heard that Canada was going to have their first season this past winter. I really didn't have any intention of watching it until I found out a bunch of BB alumni were going to watch and their fun tweets got me intrigued. Just one episode in, and I was hooked. For the most part, their version was identical to ours: they had HOHs, Haves/Have Nots, POV comps and they voted to evict their own.

I loved the cast of BBCAN so much, that I follow each of them on Twitter. My favorites are Andrew, Emmett, Jillian, Talla, Alec, Gary, Tom and Liza (so just about all of them!). They are hilarious and are superfans of our American version, so it's fun to hear their reactions and see their Twitter interactions with the BB US alumni.

UK
Then, I found out that the BB UK version was extremely popular, so I thought I'd give that a try this summer. Boy is it different! First of all, their accents just make everything more fun. But beyond that, they have so many other differences! They have NO HOH, NO Have/Have Not, NO POV comps, and instead of the HOH nominating, the housemates ALL nominate, and then the PUBLIC votes each week for who they want to see evicted. They are given random tasks to do, which sometimes involve everyone, and sometimes it is just 1 or 2 housemates. Their food tasks usually involve everyone, and they play for their budget for the week. The current season just ended, and they quickly went into a celebrity version, which over there has also been very popular in the past. I didn't love the cast of this previous season as much as I loved Canada's cast, but I did love Callum, Charlie and Sam.

Australia
So now that the regular BB UK season is over, I have found Australia's Big Brother. I didn't know what to expect because I don't know anyone who has ever watched this version before. From the first episode...again, I was hooked! The cast is so amazing and funny! The differences in this version are that the housemates do the nominating, but it is based on a points system...so weird! Each housemate has 5 points to nominate 2 people. They can assign however many points they want to for each of their nominees. Then, the 6 housemates with the most points are up for eviction. The public votes to SAVE housemates, and the one with the least amount of votes goes home.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to blog about the Australian version, but I'm just having too much fun watching it, that I need to talk about it! I'm pretty behind...about 3 weeks behind...but I'm trying to catch up this weekend. I'm going to follow the same blogging format that I used for the UK version, which was to do a recap of each week. It would be way too hard to do each episode, since there is 1 everyday!

So...if you are just as upset as me that people like David, Nick and Howard were so wrongly evicted way early and have left some really unlikable and despicable human beings to fight for the win in our current BB Season 15, here in the US...I HIGHLY recommend watching any one (OR ALL!) of the versions I've listed above. You will be shocked at the great quality of casts and new/interesting twists. Big Brother is fun again, and I find myself just wanting to watch more and more and more...I can't get enough! Join me in Season 10 of Big Brother Australia...it's not too late to get started!

Here are the YouTube links that I have used for each version:

Australiahttp://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVjFZteJcoRS_Q-icNlYmyg
UKhttp://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9qmtmFPFu2oUNNI8IAJ8Hg
Canada: unfortunately, the link I used has been removed since the season has ended :( and unfortunately, I haven't found a channel that has all of the episodes. If you do some searching you can find a few episodes here and there, so you can probably get them all somewhere, just not on the same channel.

Big Brother UK 14: Week 9 Recap & Finale

Task: Do As Your Told
The normal Big Brother announcer comes over the loud speaker and announces what the housemates are doing, and they have to react and do what he says they are doing. First it was a dance party, next it was a very raucous food fight! Gina gets upset that the boys took it too far. Then Big Brother says that she tells the house that she wants to clean the mess herself (finally she gets a bad task).

Next, Sam and Jack are to hold hands and take a romantic stroll in the garden. How cute. Gina, Jack and Joe are told to go to the garden and discuss Gina's reaction to Hazel leaving. Dexter and Charlie are told to be alone in the treehouse. Charlie is supposed to tell Dexter how she truly feels about him and then he is supposed to tell her the same thing. Then Big Brother tells Charlie to kiss Dexter passionately, and then a second time!

Then it's time for a pillow fight! "Not my head", yells Gina!

Caribbean Party
They get to party with a reggae singer, while they make a Caribbean meal and then they have fun doing the limbo. There was sand for them, so it was like they were at the beach. Later that evening, the twins and Sam were trying to jump over the limbo bar...so funny!

Who Should Go To The Final?

Big Brother UK 14: Week 8 Recap

Dexter The Great
Big Brother tells Dexter that he is going to be a magician, and he's going to be messing with the other housemates. He is supposed to make them believe that he is actually performing magic.

  • He changes Gina's shoe into chocolate treats
  • He turns Charlie's hat into a bottle of wine
  • He turns Sam's flip-flop into a plate of coal
  • With a hidden ear piece, Dexter reads Sophie, Hazel, and Gina's mind to reveal their true thoughts about other housemates
  • For the finale, he chooses to make Sam disappear; however, Big Brother takes him to a secret room where he gets to spy on the rest of the house (Dexter didn't know what was happening)--he got quite an earful, because all of the housemates were talking about him and about how Dexter wants him gone
Gina's Fan Mail Task
Gina is given the task of writing fan letters for the other housemates, as if they were written by fans. She is asked who shouldn't receive any letters, and she chooses Hazel, naturally. Just another mean Big Brother trick!

She did a very good job writing the letters, and did a good job not laughing as they read the letters out loud. She even wrote a letter to herself! She put some really hilarious things in those letters...quite a good job, Gina! Very convincing.

As her reward, she receives some of her favorite Japanese foods. She is told that the housemates will never know that she wrote the letters, unless she tells them. She said she probably would because she has a guilty conscience. She walks downstairs moaning and groaning because she ate too much, and she tells everyone that the letters were fake.

Nominations

Big Brother UK 14: Week 7 Recap

Task: Paint pictures about their time in the house. Then they have to present their paintings to the house. For passing the task, they all receive letters from home.

The Pickle Incident
Everyone was having fun with pickles and Charlie got out of hand and was poking Hazel way too hard and she got her in the eye. Obviously she had a bit too much to drink. Hazel didn't want to make a big deal about it, but her eye did hurt. Big Brother called her to the Diary Room and she said she was fine. Then an argument started downstairs when Charlie thought she heard Callum say that she was being aggressive. She explained that she was only doing what was being done to her and she accidentally hit Hazel's eye. When Hazel returned downstairs, they all speculated why she was called to the DR. Charlie then made an off-handed remark about how it was like what happened with Daley. Hazel took a great offense to that. Once again, Charlie has opened her mouth without thinking first. Hazel got really upset.

Follow The Leader Task
Dexter is given the task of following Sophie around and go everywhere she goes. Then Hazel is told to follow Dexter wherever he goes. Then Gina is told to follow Hazel wherever she goes. Callum is told to follow Gina. Charlie is told to follow Callum. Sam is told to follow Charlie. Jack/Joe are told to follow Sam. Then finally, Sophie is told she has to follow Jack/Joe around. They finally catch on!

Big Brother UK 14: Week 6 Recap

Trash For Treats: Selfish vs. Selfless
The housemates are paired up with boxes. If both smash the box, no one wins. If they both don't smash the box, they win something for the house. If one does and one doesn't, the one who breaks their box selfishly, wins the reward. The pairs:
  • Gina vs. Hazel-both smash
  • Jack vs. Sam-Jack smashes and Sam lets him have it because the reward was a birthday bash
  • Sophie vs. Charlie-both don't smash and earn 6 eggs for the house
  • Dan vs. Joe-Joe smashes and Dan lets him have it to share in the birthday bash with Jack
  • Callum vs. Dexter-the reward was a romantic dinner with the guest of their choice; Callum doesn't smash his and Dexter waits until the last minute and breaks his. Then, like a smug little prick, he chooses DAN for his romantic dinner. He broke the box only because he didn't want Callum to win. How ridiculous! He makes a huge point to say that winning wasn't about winning the romantic dinner, it was ONLY about beating Callum. Ugh! Makes me hate him even more!
Because Sam, Sophie, Charlie, Dan and Callum were selfless, they are rewarded with a VIP party later.

Sam & Sophie's Choice
Sam and Sophie are to choose a third person to join them in the Safe House, and who would be immune from the public vote (we all know this is a lie). They are to choose 3 housemates whom they would like to ask questions to, and those people will answer them in the Diary Room and Sam and Sophie will get to watch. Dan is so smart. He figured it out pretty quickly that Sam ans Sophie were going to get to watch their Diary Room sessions. After seeing the videos, they choose to "save" Dan, and bring him into the Safe House with them. Little do they know that they have just put him up for eviction with them. They chose him because Sam's bff is Callum and Sophie's bff is Jack/Joe, so Dan was someone whom they both like and thought he might not be as safe as the others.

Big Brother UK 14: Week 5 Recap

Dan's Task
Since Dan is a former policeman, Big Brother gave him the task of being a detective. Big Brother selected Sam to be a secret saboteur, out to ruin Dan's day. It is up to Dan to find out who the saboteur is. All the rest of the housemates are there to assist Sam in burying Dan's toiletries in the veg patch and throwing his clothes in the pool.

In full detective gear, Dan sets out to interview his housemates to get clues of the saboteurs identity, while Sam begins his plan. Dan hides behind beds and behind doors as he listens and watches what people are doing. It's hilarious! At the end of the day, Dan had to make his guess of who the saboteur was and he chose Sam! Good work detective Dan! For failing his task, Sam is sent to jail. Poor Sam. Dan's reward was some fitness equipment.

Big Brother UK 14: Week 4 Recap

Dexter and Gina are in the safe house, living the life of luxury, while watching and listening to everything the other housemates are doing.

Jackie hurts her arm and has to go to the hospital for x-rays. I'm not sure what she was doing, but it looks like she was just walking in the backyard and fell on her wrist. She returns from the hospital with her arm in a sling and she said that she fractured a bone in her hand.

The housemates are told that viewers are voting for them to do different tasks...however, it is actually Dexter and Gina who are choosing what they do.
1. Who to send to jail: Daley and Wolfy
2. Who to clean the house from top to bottom: Hazel
3. What to give the housemates in jail: Nice lunch (cheese sandwich and chips)=Daley, Awful lunch (stinky cheese sandwich, grasshoppers, bird spittle and fungal juice)=Wolfy
4. Who to have a private conversation in the treehouse answering questions chosen by Dexter and Gina: Sophie, Jack and Joe
5. Who should share cake and wine: Dan and Sam
Everyone completed their task, so the house won a reward of Chinese takeaway.

Dan thinks that Dexter and Gina might have been voted into a secret house! How clever of you Dan!

Nominations:
Jack/Joe - Charlie and Wolfy
Callum - Wolfy and Hazel
Dan - Wolfy and Callum
Sam - Wolfy and Sophie
Jackie - Wolfy and Callum
Hazel - Callum and Wolfy
Daley - Callum and Wolfy
Charlie - Wolfy and Callum
Wolfy - Charlie and Dan
Sophie - Sam and Hazel

Nominated: Wolfy got 8 votes, Callum got 5 votes and Hazel and Charlie both got 2 votes.

Sam, Sophie, and Jackie were put in jail for talking about nominations. The other housemates earn a treat of water guns!

Gina and Dexter get to save one of the nominees and replace them with another housemate. Oh my! They have been given so much power! And then they are told that whoever they save will be joining them in the safe house. The other housemates will learn tat they are still in the game and therefore, will be able to go back into the house, but they will still be staying in the safe house.

Gina and Dexter get to go to the backyard, where there is a new pool. The rest of the housemates are told to go outside, where they see them for the first time.

Gina and Dexter choose to save Charlie. They replace her with Jackie.

Gina, Dexter and Charlie are designated as the Treasury. They have to make decisions for the house in order to impose taxes on the housemates to raise money for their shopping budget. Wolfy has a hard time with not being able to smoke.

On eviction night, the housemates get to watch all of the nomination videos to see who nominated who.

The first housemate safe, with the fewest votes is Callum!!! Woohoo!
And the evicted housemate is Wolfy!

Gina, Dexter and Charlie's time in the safe house is over. 2 new people will move into the safe house and will have immunity in the next eviction. I can't wait to find out who it will be! Unfortunately, it's up to the public, and they have to vote on specific couples...it's not individuals who get the most votes.

Big Brother UK 14: Week 3 Recap

Task 1: unlock 3 secrets about the housemates by getting to view their audition footage.
Big Brother asks a question, if a housemate wants to answer, they get to pick a key and try it in one of 3 locks. The questions are personal and awkward, so they must choose if it's worth divulging information. The winners were: Jackie, Wolfy and Gina.

Task 2: Boys vs. Girls
3 boys and 3 girls are timed as they have to do a task where they listen to Big Brother calling out the words: Shock, Splat, Munch, Dunk, Honk. Each word matched up to a station. As time goes on, Big Brother says them faster, and when they miss one, they are out and the next person goes. The time for each team is added up and the team that goes the longest wins.

The Shock station gave them a shock. The Splat station they had to crush an egg on their head. The Munch station they had to eat a bite of pie. The Dunk station they had to stick their head in a box full of feathers. The Honk station they had to squeeze a horn.

The Girls team of Gina, Sophie and Hazel had a time of 5:45.
The Guys team of Callum, Daley and Dexter had a time of 5:51, so they won.
Their reward was a girls night in...lots of girly stuff...pink pajamas, face masks, lipstick, finger nail polish, etc. They danced to "It's Raining Men" and put on a show for the girls. It was so hilarious, I have to share a few screen caps. Callum and Dan were the best!
