Season 15 Twists:
Yesterday, CBS revealed the 2 major twists for this season:
1) Instead of 2 people being nominated each week, there will be 3!
2) America will vote each week for an MVP, who will then have a special power that isn't being revealed until the first episode.
Anyone familiar with Big Brother UK will notice the similarity of the 3 nominees. The producers note that the MVP twist will help to eliminate floaters. Since the MVP is supposed to be who America thinks is playing the best game, this will force people to change their strategies. Floaters who do nothing in the house will not likely win America's vote. Since we don't know what the MVP's "secret power" is, judging by how much the producers think this will affect gameplay, I'm betting that the MVP might be able to save themselves if they find themselves on the block that week.
House Changes/Updates:
Also changing this season is the house. The BB house got a MAJOR makeover. Lots of changes in look and style, but a change that might be a little more subtle, but has a lot to do with twist #1--the 2 nomination chairs in the living room have been replaced by a small couch instead, that would seat...about 3. Season 15 houseguests:
Now, what we've all been waiting for...today the cast was announced! BB alums have been tweeting rumors for days, and today we get to see which of those rumors are true. I think only one of them: BB13 winner Rachel Reilly's sister is a houseguest. Love her or hate her, the female half of "Brenchel" was definitely a character. I for one, am hoping that Elissa is a lot quieter than her sister. This world only needs one Rachel. One way that Elissa will be entering the house differently than her sister, is that she is married. So, we can only hope that that means that she won't be going around the house yelling "No one's gonna come between me and MY man!"
And without further ado, let's meet them, shall we? Following the bios, look for my first impressions.

 | Aaryn Gries Age: 22 Occupation: College student Hometown: San Angelo, TX Current City: San Marcos, TX My First Impression: She's gorgeous and looks like she would be really sweet. I would say she might be like Jordan, and being from the south she probably has a cute accent, too. She's also the youngest in the house. Her Intro Video: She is studying psychology. She will do a lot to win, but she won't jeopardize her morals or values. She might be too nice to take it all. She started out wanting to come for the experience but now she wants to win to be a part of the Big Brother family. |
 | Amanda Zuckerman Age: 28 Occupation: Real estate agent Hometown: Long Island, NY Current City: Boynton Beach, FL My First Impressions: She looks like she would be someone who would use her looks to her advantage and might be a little devious. Her Intro Video: She's ready to use her charm and looks to get her far in the game. Jeff thinks she has all the skills it takes to win this game. |
 | Candice Stewart Age: 29 Occupation: Pediatric speech therapist Hometown: New Orleans, LA Current City: Houston, TX My First Impressions: I literally can't think of anything to say about her. Not a great first impression. Her Intro Video: I didn't expect her to have a southern accent. She has a very sweet and soft-spoken voice. She was an NFL cheerleader but she says she isn't very athletic. She also competed in the Miss USA pageant. She says she is OK with lying in the game and she's very open to a showmance. |
 | Elissa Slater Age: 27 Occupation: Nutritionist Hometown: Concord, NC Current City: Kannapolis, NC My First Impressions: Obviously, since she is Rachel's sister, we can assume that she has a similar personality: loud and annoying. I'm hoping she's the opposite. Let's see if she can do a better job of hiding her relation than Willie Her Intro Video: She does a very good impression of her sister's laugh and her common phrases. Unfortunately, her "real" laugh sounds pretty much the same. That could be a dead giveaway on her identity. |

Her Intro Video: She has a very big personality, and boy is she loud! You can definitely tell she's from New York with that accent. She says she wants to be liked by everyone, so hopefully that means she'll take it down a couple notches. |

This season 37 makes her the oldest in the house...wow! I wonder if that means she will take on the "motherly" role. Her Intro Video: She is married and has 2 kids. She has worked on political campaigns...which she likes to talk about a lot. She seems like she could be more on the serious side, and yes, I could see her taking the motherly role based on what I saw in her video. |
 | Jessie Kowalski Age: 25 Occupation: Unemployed Hometown: Beaumont, TX Current City: San Antonio, TX My First Impressions: Nothing really stands out about her. She looks like the girl next door. Her Intro Video: She used to be in sales, but is unemployed now. Jeff was not buying what she was trying to sell. She seems way too nice. I'm not sure if she will be able to go all out and do what is needed to win the game. And she said her downfall might be that she's very emotional. |
 | Kaitlin Barnaby Age: 23 Occupation: Bartender Hometown: Vadnais Heights, MN Current City: Minneapolis, MN My First Impressions: As the resident bartender, she looks like she'll be the edgy girl who likes to speak her mind. Her Intro Video: She said she isn't afraid to play on people's weaknesses and mess with their minds. She doesn't like whiny people and she tends to not trust people. That might help her or it could hurt her. |
 | Andy Herren Age: 26 Occupation: Professor Hometown: Aurora, IL Current City: Chicago, IL My First Impressions: He is this season's gay houseguest. Judging by his photo, he looks like he's very quirky. He looks a little like an "Opie". His Intro Video: He said he's not very religious, so he doesn't have a problem swearing on the Bible. He said he is a happy crier and can be emotional. He has a Master's in communication, so he thinks that will help him. |
 | David Girton Age: 25 Occupation: Lifeguard Hometown: San Diego, CA Current City: San Diego, CA My First Impressions:He has the "Frank" role down to a tee. From the lifeguard profession, to the blonde, messy hair. He's also got a little bit of Owen/Luke Wilson going on. His Intro Video: He is definitely the typical surfer dude.He even says "dude" in like every sentence. He thinks his strengths in the house will be his looks and his competitive vibe. He says his downfall might be that he doesn't take a shower every day or wash his hair. The pool is good enough for him. He seems like he's going to be fun to watch. |

He reminds me of a basketball player, but I can't think which one. His Intro Video: He seems like a really nice guy and he's doing a lot of good work with youth in his community. He's a big guy with a big heart. I really got him pegged: he says he's an introvert and a deep thinker. |

I could definitely see him being involved in a showmance or two. His Intro Video: He's a lot cuter in his video than in his picture, I must say. He's very athletic, and does a lot of sports. He likes to tread the line between cocky and confident and doesn't really think he'll have any downfalls other than women. Did I guess that or what? He definitely seems to have his eyes on the prize and isn't afraid to take out his girl or his friends if they get in his way. |

He seems to be the Ian of this season. He's a super fan of the show. He is more than proud to be a pizza boy. Wow. He says he may be interested in a showmance, and his tagline is "know your role, shut your hole". |
 | Nick Uhas Age: 28 Occupation: Entrepreneur Hometown: Columbus, OH Current City: New York, NY My First Impressions: I think he's the best looking guy in the house this season. I think he's my hottie crush to root for. His Intro Video: Before I watched his video, I had no idea he would be so energetic! He was talking so fast! He loves to rollerblade and travels all over, and he knows that being single and liking girls is going to be a problem for him in the house. |
 | Spencer Clawson Age: 31 Occupation: Railroad conductor Hometown: Conway, AR Current City: Conway, AR My First Impressions: This guy totally looks like he is related to Matt the bearded guy from Survivor. His Intro Video: In his video, he said he isn't very clean and he doesn't like to do dishes, but that he's going to try to be a better version of himself in the house: Spencer 2.0. He doesn't really sound like he's got much of a strategy. He's just happy to be there, and that it's going to be like a vacation. |
