BBUK 15: Week 10 Recap - Finale Week

Week 10 in the BB house...

Punishment
The night before, Helen, Winston and Ash broke a huge rule: they busted through a door in their bedroom and broke "out of the house". We saw them running around a little bit behind the scenes before being ushered back in by security. Big Brother woke them up early this morning to tell them that not only did they break the rules by breaking out of the house, they also damaged the fixtures on the door. As a result, the whole house is being punished and none of them are allowed back in the bedroom. The hot water has been turned off and food has been removed, so they will be on basic rations. These punishments will be in place until Big Brother determines that they have understood the rules.

Not one of them apologized to the rest of the house for what they did. Helen said "I feel guilty", but that's it.

Ash was the first one to properly apologize, but the others didn't think it was really sincere.

The 3 offenders decided to perform an "I'm sorry" poem to the rest of the house. And then they attempted to "sing" "I'm sorry". It didn't come off too well because they laughed through the whole thing.

The other housemates get their revenge when Big Bother puts each of the offenders in a stockade. Each housemate gets to throw a bucket of slop on each of them and tell them what they think.

Big Brother finally said they had done enough, so the hot water was turned back on and they were allowed back in the bedroom.

Testing the Finalists

First, each housemate is told to write about why they think they deserve to be in the finals.

Then they must run the ultimate task gauntlet to prove they are good competitors.
Round 1: chili eating
Round 2: performance
Round 3: mystery box
Round 4: hair removal
Round 5: gunge
Round 6: face-to-face nomination

Big Brother will judge each of them and is looking for tasks completed, effort and entertainment.

Chris chose hilariously not to do any of them.

3rd place: Helen
2nd place: Christopher
1st place: Ash

Trial
There is a trial to determine who is responsible for the divide in the house: Ashleigh or Helen. Judge Judy James makes a ruling after hearing both sides, and she rules that Helen was the one responsible. It came down to her own friends using the word "aggressive" in their testimony.

Ashleigh's lawyer was Christopher, and her witnesses were Chris Matthew and Danielle.
Helen's lawyer was Pav, and her witnesses were Ash, Steven and Kimberly.

Housemate Power
Christopher and Ash are given the power of knowledge by Big Brother. Little do they know they will be evicting 2 people...but it's actually a fake eviction.

They are allowed to have Big Brother ask the other housemates a question, and then they get to hear the answer.

Question 1: If you could give advice to your other housemates, what would it be?
Question 2: Who deserves to win, and has your opinion changed since you entered the house?

Later, Christopher are psychologists and they have to speak to and evaluate each of the housemates.

"Eviction"
Emma tells the house that Helen has been voted out by the public. She is told to leave through the Diary Room, and then she is told that this wasn't a real eviction. She will be staying in the spare room and she will get to watch the rest of the housemates.

Christopher and Ash are then told to choose another housemate to evict. Needless to say, they each didn't want to make a choice, and couldn't make a choice. It was brutal, and Big Brother kept pushing them to state their choice. They had a chat, and finally decided to evict Chris, only because he seemed like he would be the least bothered about going.

Chris, just like Helen, was not really evicted, and he's joining Helen in the spare room.

Reunited
The house is later told that Helen and Chris weren't actually evicted, and they rejoined the house.

Press Conference Training
Danielle and Zoe re-enter the house to give each of the housemates tips on giving interviews.

Exit Training
Mark and Bianca re-enter the house to coach the housemates on how to make their exit from the Big Brother house a memorable one, and how to work the red carpet.

Endorsement Training
Steven and Winston re-enter the house to coach the housemates on how to make endorsement pitches on products when they leave the house. Winston helps Ash, Pav and Christopher. Steven helps Helen, Chris and Ashleigh.

Party
Big Brother invites the evicted housemates back to the house to party with the finalists. I loved listening to them singing along with Take That to "Back for Good". They all had so much fun!

Helen and Ashleigh finally make peace and say they are done fighting. That was nice to see.

FINALE NIGHT!

6th place: Pav
5th place: Chris

The Final 4: Ash, Ashleigh, Christopher and Helen. I would love to see Ash win, and if not Ash, then Christopher.

4th place: Ash
3rd place: Christopher
Runner-up: Ashleigh
WINNER: Helen

Someone please tell me how this happened? It had to be rigged, right? I mean, the public who hated Helen so much from the beginning, now is picking her as the winner over a lot of deserving people? She, who unfairly had a pass to the Final and could not ever be sent home...which means she was not there on her own merits, has now won? As much as the public hated her, she most definitely would have been voted out in week 1 or 2.

There was only 1.2% difference in voting between Helen and Ashleigh, so I would demand a recount. She may have improved her behavior as the series went on, but she still did not deserve to still be there, in my opinion, and she certainly didn't deserve the win. What a letdown to end a pretty good season overall.

I'm glad that she was at least embarrassed by some of the things that she watched herself say in the house. Hopefully she will learn from this and become a better person and not such a bully.
