Amazing Race Season 25: Cast and Season Preview

Original Post: 6/6/14
UPDATE: 8/28/14

This is a first for just about any reality show: CBS released the cast of Season 25 of the Amazing Race...the day the race began! Normally, we have to wait until a couple weeks before the show will air to find out who is in the cast. Apparently, since they started the race in the very public place of Time Square, they decided they might as well share officially who will be running the race.

We are also in for some more changes coming up this fall. The show will now be airing at 8:00 on Friday instead of it's normal Sunday timeslot. I, for one, am ECSTATIC with this change! Why? Oh, let me the number of weeks that either football, or basketball or golf, or racing has run long. And by it running long, it then forces the always dull 60 Minutes late, and then The Amazing Race is therefore late. Good luck trying to DVR it, unless you also record the show that follows, otherwise you might only get to see the first half of the show. The start time is always unpredictable, so I end up having to check Facebook to find out what time it is actually going to start...gotta love those 8:37 start times. Yeah, that makes sense. This monstrosity has been happening for years, and it's so annoying! I can probably count on 1 hand the number of times the show actually started at 8:00. Sorry, rant over.

So, make sure you plan ahead and plan to catch it on Fridays instead of on Sundays.

What else can we expect from Season 25? Well, there's a rumored change in the format that will sound familiar to Survivor fans. How does immunity sound? It looks like the team who arrives to the mat first on the first leg, will win immunity! They will be able to use their immunity until there are 9 teams left. I think I like this idea better than the random non-elimination rounds. The non-elimination rounds often benefit people who didn't really earn the right to be saved. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

The cast for Season 25 features some familiar faces. No, they haven't run the race before, but you should recognize at least 1 person, if not all 3. One person being surfer Bethany Hamilton. You'll remember that she survived a shark attack that left her with the loss of her arm. Her story was retold in the movie Soul Surfer. She is running the race with her husband, a fellow surfer. The other 2 come from the world of Survivor. No, sadly, it's not Boston Rob and Amber again. This time it's another couple: Keith Tollefson and Whitney Duncan. This pair appeared on Season 23: South Pacific. They finished 11th and 9th, respectively. While on the show, a romance sparked, and it actually continued after the game ended. Unfortunately, at the time, Whitney was married. She ended up divorcing her husband and she is now engaged to Keith.

Big Brother, Ep. 16.29

Nicole or Donny
Donny was the target at the beginning of the week, but we always know in the BB house that things go back and forth all the way up to voting day.

Nicole and Christine were hanging out and getting closer again after what Christine did to Nicole. Frankie and Derrick were watching how close they were getting again and that made them nervous.

Derrick and Frankie talk about who Donny would target if they decided to keep him and he became HOH. They think if they save him, he would not put them up. With Donny as an ally, it might be worth it to keep him around.

The guys come together to discuss as a group what to do. Caleb is so scared of Nicole...he thinks she is super smart. He thinks that her and Christine will align with Victoria. Caleb also suggests keeping Donny. Derrick would be happy to not be the mastermind behind the decision o keep Donny. They take a vote and it's kind of split down the middle. Cody wants Donny gone, Frankie and Caleb want Nicole to go. Now it's up to Derrick to state his opinion. He's been toying with both sides and he really doesn't want to vocalize what he wants because it could be used against him later.

Team America
Julie uses a secret code to let Team America know if they were successful with their mission. Julie will ask one of the members if they were a Have Not what food they would request. They are to say "apple pie". Julie will then say yes or no. So, it comes to that time, and she asks Frankie. And the answer was..."an OVERWHELMING...no." I know a lot of people on Twitter were not impressed with their "play", but I for one, thought it was hilarious! It wasn't the most original or difficult thing to pull off, but I thought it was funny.

Videos from Home
I think in a Big Brother first, Julie shows all of the houseguests short video messages from their loved ones. Lots of tears for everyone!

Votes
Julie informs us that during the break Caleb and Frankie made one last attempt to flip the house vote.

Christine -- Donny
Victoria -- Donny
Frankie -- Donny
Caleb -- Donny
Derrick -- Donny

With a unanimous vote, Donny is out. It will be sad to see him go, but I think it was time. He just wasn't able to get anything going in this game. He did fight hard at the end to stay, but it was too little too late. They all saw him as too good of a guy to take to the end.

Oh Donny! He was so emotional talking to Julie! Such a sweet guy. Sad to hear him say that his feelings were hurt. He was hurt by Team America and he wished they would have tried harder to keep them together because he thinks America put them together for a reason. I can't believe he escaped the block 7 times! I didn't realize that it was that many.

Donny said he had to resign his job as a groundskeeper to come on the show, and he's really hoping he can get his job back. Julie said she thinks he'll be OK. And, oh, by the way, The Bold and the Beautiful called, and they want you to be a guest star! OMG! What part would he play?!

HOH Competition
Finally! An endurance comp! Where have these been all season? With there being no more food competitions this season to make way for the Battle of the Block, there just have not been very many physical/endurance comps. Too bad it's another repeat of a comp that we've seen before. Although it is a fun one to watch. They have to use small cups to carry liquid from one end of a slippery lane to the other to fill up their snowman. They are trying to fill the snowman head to raise the lump of coal inside until they can pull it out. There is a smaller temptation snowman. If they are the first to fill the small snowman will receive $5,000 and also a punishment of 5,000 hollas (or shout outs). Please oh please don't let anyone go for the small snowman!

As they get started, any guesses who the slowest one is? Yep...that would be Victoria. She looks like she's out for a fun ice skate on a pond, and now she's stuck in one place and not moving at all. Yeah, she might as well just go sit down...it's not worth all the bruises on your butt.

Caleb seems to be doing really well. He's flying and seems to be in control...for now any way. It is an endurance competition, so will he be able to keep this pace up? I could see Frankie winning this. He seems pretty agile.

I'm glad to see that so far no one is going for the small snowman...not even Victoria...that would be the only thing she would win all season...if she could fill it before someone fills the bigger one that is. Ha!

Survivor Season 29: Cast Bios

Who's ready for Survivor? I know I am! Season 29 is just around the corner. So, who's playing, and what are the twists? Keep reading for the scoop!

Season Title: San Juan del Sur -- Blood vs. Water

Premiere: Wednesday, September 24 at 8:00 PM (90 minute episode)

Twists:
  1. Blood vs. Water -- Each player is playing with a relative or loved one. This twist was last seen on Season 27. The difference this time is that these are all first-time players and not returning players and their loved ones like the last time.
  2. Hero Challenge/Exile Island -- Loved ones will face off in the "Hero Challenge", with one player being sent to Exile following the one-on-one duel. Winner gets reward, loser goes to Exile Island. In case you forget, Exile Island is where one person is sent to live on their own in between challenges; they are completely separated from their tribe. Not only does the loser go to Exile, but the winner must also choose a tribemate to join their loved one. This twist replaces the Redemption Island twist that accompanied the last Blood vs. Water season. This time, once you're voted out, you're out. One good thing about being sent to Exile is that there is a clue to the hidden immunity idol that is hidden around camp. The idol is at camp, so they're going to have to dig in front of everyone. The Exile Island twist was last seen on Season 18.
  3. Tribes -- Nothing has been said how the tribes will be divided this season. The last Blood vs. Water season, the pairs were all split up. Chances are it will be the same again this season, especially since there were supposed to be 20 competitors instead of 18. The only way for the tribes to be even is to have an uneven 9 on each tribe....unless there's more than 2 tribes. Hmm....
Early Changes to the Game:
  • There were supposed to be 10 pairs competing, but just days before filming began a pair of women had to withdraw after a medical check-up. They didn't have time to bring in anyone else. As a result, there are 2 more men than women competing.
  • The plan was to have Redemption Island again, like the last Blood vs. Water season. However, at the last minute, Jeff Probst and the producers came up with another idea and totally switched directions. That switch was to bring back Exile Island.

Big Brother, Ep. 16.28

Donny = Rain Main
Caleb is convinced that Donny is secretly a genius. He said if you watch him, his eyes are always moving back and forth. He said when you super smart, you're thinking even when you're not thinking. Cody isn't too quick to believe this, but Caleb said he thinks he has a very high IQ. If he was in the military, he was probably in intelligence or something. It's so funny to watch them strategize about who and what they think Donny is. They will all be so shocked when they find out he really is just a groundskeeper.

Team America
The new mission is to create and attempt to impress America. So basically, they can do whatever they want to. If a majority of America votes that they were impressed, and if the mission is completed, they will pass their mission. They have until the Veto Meeting. Donny said if it was up to him, his mission would be to keep Team America together. Um...Donny...you're going to have to do more than that. Obviously Donny is pushing this idea because he's on the block and this would be a way to make him safe.

Frankie doesn't think that America would vote for them to save Donny. Neither Derrick nor Frankie wanted to go along with throwing the Veto to help save Donny. They don't think America would vote that as an acceptable mission.

Frankie said it would throw up huge flags for him and Derrick to try to flip the house. The house wants Donny gone, so it would just be too obvious.

Frankie's idea is to put on a play. I don't think that's the right idea either. Donny realizes that they are just not willing to go out on a limb for him.

Derrick has a heart-to-heart with Donny. Donny still doesn't understand why everyone wants him gone. He said he sleeps and sits by himself outside and hasn't done anything to anyone. Derrick said they are scared of him because he's such a great person. If he makes it to the end, every one of them would give him the money because he deserves it the most. Both of them ended up in tears. Derrick told him that he wasn't sold on him going home and he shouldn't give up the fight. Donny was very appreciative and told Derrick he's a good guy. I agree. I think Derrick is a great guy. I also think Derrick is an extremely smart guy. He has such a great relationship with every person in the house, and it's so good that no one sees him as the mastermind that he is or for the massive gameplayer that he is. Truly incredible. He's playing such a smart game, but also one of the best social games I've ever seen.

The Play: BB House Swap
Frankie gets the house to agree to put on a show. They decide to dress up like and

Frankie does Joey
Donny does Devin
Caleb does Hayden
Derrick does Jocasta
Victoria does Amber

I just have to say I screamed with laughter at each one of these! The most surprising was Donny as Derrick! Who knew Donny could act! Now the house is for sure gonna think he's an actor and not really a groundskeeper.

Bachelor In Paradise, Ep. 1.5

Rose Ceremony Continued...
We last left with Graham seemingly walking out on AshLee's rose offer, and then Michelle going after him...

Michelle thinks that his anxiety over AshLee was making him physically sick. Clare mentioned how interesting it was that AshLee just stood there holding her rose, and she didn't seem the least bit concerned about Graham! Michelle was the one to go after him and make sure he was OK. That was just bizarre! And it really says a lot about her.

Eventually, he does accept the rose (boo!)

Next, Lacy dashes out of the room because she's going to throw up. Looks like there's a bug going through the group. She does end up puking, and Marcus went after her. He suggested that she go to the hospital and that he would go with her. They did an IV on her in the ambulance, and Marcus held her hand through the whole thing. Sweet moment...but sucked for her.

Back at what's left of the Rose Ceremony, and it's now Michelle's turn. Michelle offers the rose to Cody...not much of a surprise there.

Sarah gives her rose to Robert

Jackie gives her rose to Jesse! Shocker! Poor Marquel! I thought she would stick with Marcus, who is clearly the better guy. Apparently she was buying all of his BS hook, line and sinker.

Going home: Marquel and Kalon

Is anyone surprised that Kalon didn't get a rose? Absolutely no one. Good riddance.

New Arrival: Christy

Bachelor In Paradise, Ep. 1.4

Date Card #1 Drama
When they get back from the Rose Ceremony, Robert has a date card. Sarah is thinking that Robert should pick her since he just gave her a rose. She was right! She was so excited to get asked on a date. Michelle, on the other hand, still really emotional from what happened at the Rose Ceremony, went and cried in the bathroom. Graham went to check on her. He told her that there are so many people who would love to take her on a date. "Really?" she asks. She wonders what's wrong with her, and what she's doing wrong. I'm thinking that if Graham stays missing for much longer, AshLee is going to come looking for him, and I don't think she will appreciate him comforting another girl.

The next day, Sarah asks Michelle to do her hair. Michelle did it without complaining, but it was really hard for her. While Robert and Sarah are on their date, Michelle whines about being alone and rejected by Robert.

Date #1: Robert & Sarah
They go for a ride on a small sailboat. They talk about other people coming, and Robert said whoever comes is "kind of screwed". Sarah said they will probably go for Michelle or Jackie. Robert said, and I quote "Oh yeah, Michelle, I forgot about that." Ouch!

Robert is having a lot of fun with Sarah. Sarah feels safe with him. She said it's great having someone like Robert, next to her, who isn't afraid of the ocean. Ha!

New Arrival: Cody

Rising Star, Ep. 1.10 Finale

Tonight we crown the winner of the very first Rising Star!!! Who's it going to be? I know who I want it to be. Go Jesse!!!!! Get your apps ready, and make sure to vote Yes for Jesse!!

The singers were seeded according to their overall scores this season. Here are the matchups: Dana vs. Jesse and Austin vs. Audrey Kate (saved by the West Coast). Why bother...let's just have Austin and Jesse fight it out. We know it's going to come down to the 2 boys, don't we?

Dana vs. Jesse
Do we even need to have them sing? This is not even going to be close.

Dana
Basically I have to vote No because she's going against Jesse. Beyond that, I HATE the song "At Last", so that's reason #2 to vote No. Her voice just cracked slightly...reason #3. I see I'm not the only one holding out for Jesse. The song is almost done, and she's only at 20%. I think besides the small crack, she sounded OK, but the song was just too slow and boring, and no one wanted her to beat Jesse.
Score: 30%

On his worst day...30% is way beyond easy. There is NO WAY, and I mean NO WAY he's not beating that pitiful score!

Jesse
The question is...how many seconds will it take for him to blow past 30? And it's about 15 seconds. Ha! Classic Jesse! Perfect song choice and he killed it. Nothing more to say...the guy's a rockstar!
Score: 87%

Woohoo! And it's Jesse for the EASY win! He will now take on the winner of Austin vs. Audrey Kate.

Austin vs. Audrey Kate
Again, do they even need to sing? Austin is going to blow away Audrey Kate. The only thing going against him is that he is singing first and people might not be as willing to vote Yes.

Austin
Love this song! Great song choice! Not many people can sing Gavin DeGraw and do it justice. He killed this! This was such an energetic version of the song. I like that it sounded like Austin, and not just a copy of the original.
Score: 70%

Audrey Kate
Another poor song choice. That's what's going to prevent you from moving on...we see it all the time. If people can't relate to the song or if it doesn't suit you, they're not going to vote for you. I didn't know this song, and she didn't really do anything to make me want to like it. It was very cabaret. I think she sang it pretty well, but it just wasn't doing it for me.
Score: 49%

Well...who didn't see that one coming? I said it before any of them sang that it was going to come down to Jesse vs. Austin. The guys know what they're doing, they know who they are as artists, and they know what songs to sing when it counts to truly connect and show off what they can do.

The Final Round: Jesse vs. Austin
This time, there is no wall, and we won't see the % bar while they are singing! So scary! They flip a coin, and Austin wins the toss. He chooses to perform 2nd...smart choice. Very smart choice.

This is obviously the best matchup for the finale. These 2 have consistently had the highest scores all season long. Should be good!

Jesse
Eek I almost missed the check-in! Whew! Don't even need to hear him sing, he's the one I want to win, so he's got my vote. But...what is this song? He's got me a little scared, he's doing something strange with his voice that we've never heard before. Gotta say it was a little wonky. Thank goodness he got back to sounding like "Jesse". The only things that could hurt him now are: (1) He's singing first and (2) He picked a song that I don't think that many people will know (I didn't know it). I think closing the show that would be enough to win, but with Austin following him...now I'm not so sure. Yikes!

Austin
This song has been done way too many times. It is a crowd favorite, so it's got that going for it. It's a slow building song, so it might not get the votes quick enough, we'll just have to wait and see. Of course, he sang it beautifully. It's now a matter of taste...do you like the hard-core rocker or the pop/country singer/songwriter? He didn't end on a big note, and the song didn't really go anywhere, so I'm not sure that that will be enough.

I kind of feel like they both picked the wrong songs...which is totally unlike both of them! They should have ended on their first songs because they were much stronger. I think both of them could have done better. Out of this whole season, both of these performances are my least favorite. That's disappointing. Still hoping for a Jesse win though! It's going to be close. The only person to beat Jesse all season (if I'm not mistaken) was Austin, so anything can happen. If Jesse doesn't win, the only reason will be song choice, it's as simple as that.

AND THE WINNER IS....JESSE KINCH!!!!!
The scores were Jesse 76% and Austin 61%

As you can see these scores were much lower than what their other weekly scores were. Song choice people!

I'm so excited for Jesse! But, truth-be-told, I would not have minded Austin winning. He was very deserving. I just felt like Jesse just has something special, and he doesn't sound like anyone else. I'm excited to see where his career will take him.

Big Brother, Ep. 16.27

Nicole is Back!
Nicole won the jury competition, so she is back in the house! Hayden whispers in her ear "Derrick and Cody". Jocasta whispered in her ear to stick with Donny. Let's see how her entering the house changes things. Donny was happy to see his friend return, while the others are ready to send her packing again. Christine feels really worried because she is the reason Nicole was voted out.

Derrick rally his troops, and he said they just all need to stick together this week and they will be fine. Nicole can really only go to Donny for help. Victoria sees them talking and then joins the Detonators in the Fire Room. They assure her that she is safe and that Nicole and Donny are the targets. They said that Donny has come to all of them individually and told them not to trust the others and try to convince them that the others wouldn't take them to the end.

Derrick said that there is no reason for anyone in the group to talk to either of them individually. He said he would call them out for it if they do. If they meet individually, they are only doing it for themselves and not for the group...so just don't do it!

Donny right away confides in Nicole that Christine threw the BOB. Donny said Victoria has no idea what she's doing...no clue about anything.

BBUK 15: Week 8 Recap

Week 8 Recap

This week the public has all the power. All housemates will nominate, but the public has voted to give someone immunity. The winner is Ashleigh. So Ashleigh and Helen can't be nominated.

Nominations
Ashleigh nominates Pav and Zoe
Christopher nominates Zoe and Pav
Winston nominates Pav and Zoe
Mark nominates Pav and Chris
Mark nominates Chris and Christopher
Chris nominates Pav and Zoe
Pav nominates Ash and Chris
Ash nominates Pav and Christopher
Helen nominates Pav and Zoe

Everyone's reasons for nominating Pav and Zoe were all based on what the messages from the evicted housemates about being careful with them and they were gameplayers. They were also nominated because the remaining housemates want the original housemates to be safe, and think they deserve to stay more than Pav and Zoe, who have only been there for 2 weeks.

Nominated: Pav (7), Zoe (5), Chris (3)

Each housemate has gotten letters from home. However, not everyone will get to read their letter. Winston is chosen to make decisions on who's letters get deleted.
Round 1: Helen or Mark -- he chooses to delete Mark's
Round 2: Ash or Chris -- he chooses to delete Chris's
Round 3: Pav or Zoe -- he chooses to delete Zoe's
Round 4: Ashleigh vs. Christopher -- he chooses to delete Christopher's

The housemates all got to watch as Winston made his choices. Winston was so smart about it. He really thought about what each person would want him to do and how much a letter would mean to them. In each case, everyone thought he made the right decision, and each person who didn't get a letter was really OK with his decision...and even were pleading with him to choose the other person. Well done Winston! Christopher was impressed that he has really listened to everyone in the house and gotten to know them so well. On a side note...it's kind of interesting that in each case, he chose to delete the letter of the person on the right (or the 2nd of the 2 options).

Everyone had been crying and hugging during and after the letters were read. And then...in a very beautiful moment between all of the housemates, there was a rainbow outside, and they all formed a line with their arms around each other. So sweet!

Shopping Task
There's a clue in the living room. It's a laptop. The task is the Housemates vs. the Internet in a number of online challenges.

Task #1: create an viral video, and it has to get at least 1000 hits on the BB website.
Helen is up first, and she is dressed up like a dinosaur, doing exercises. Chris said he was going to teach everything he knew about football...and he just stared at the ball. Ash wore just about nothing and danced around...oh my! Winston played the guitar and sang...and then went nuts!

Task #2: Christopher, Winston and Pav have to be web cam boys on the Big Boy webpage, and former housemate Luisa tells them what to do, and they have to do whatever she says. Christopher had to dress up like a pig and be a naughty piggy. Winston had to worship Luisa and had to take off his shirt in his mouth and roar like a lion. Pav had to cover himself in peanut butter jelly and bread. They earned 3,000 points toward their total.

Task #3: Mark, Ash, Zoe and Chris have to become a human search engine and answer viewer questions. If they answer honestly, they will earn a number of hits toward their total.

Task #4: On HousemateCompare.com, they need to guess how the public ranked them.
Categories:
Most Stuck Up--Zoe-correct
Most Creepy--Pav-incorrect (answer was Chris)
Most Two-Faced--Chris-incorrect (answer was Helen)
Most Boring--Ash-incorrect (answer was Pav)
Sits on the Fence the Most--Christopher-correct
Most Unhygenic--Christopher-incorrect (answer was Winston)
Most Plays Up To The Camera--Mark-incorrect (answer was Mark, but they got the "least" part wrong, which was Christopher and not Chris)
Most Lazy--Ash-incorrect (answer was Ash, but they got the "least" part wrong, which was Ashleigh instead of Mark)
Most Manipulative--Ashleigh-incorrect (answer was Helen)
Most False--Mark-incorrect (answer was Mark, but "Least" was Christopher and not Winston)
Most Interesting--Ashleigh-correct

They only got 3 correct and did not earn any hits toward their total.

Results: they got 5,000 hits total over all tasks. The number is revealed that they needed to get 10,000, which means they failed the task. They will be on basic rations for the week.

Evicted
Zoe is evicted! Kind of surprised it was her before Pav. She had so many cheers early on, I guess a few things that happened this week caused people to see her differently.

Big Brother, Ep. 16.26

Tonight is not only Eviction Night for one of the Detonators, but it is also the Jury Competition to see who will come back into the house! I'm kind of hoping for Hayden, because I miss his hilarious Diary Room confessionals. I wouldn't mind seeing Nicole come back either, because she is a pretty good competitor, and she's had her share of good DRs too! Of course THE ONLY person who NO ONE wants to see come back is Jacosta. She should have never made the Jury, so she sure doesn't deserve a second chance in the house. We do NOT need to see any more of her bowtie and ridiculous shout-outs in the DR. Let's not forget that whoever is voted out tonight also has a chance to come back. Zach is a pretty good competitor. I think Cody's been holding back in comps, so he could pull out a surprise win if he would be the one evicted. I'm betting it's Zach that will be saying goodbye though. I'm not ready to see either of these 2 go! Also happening tonight: the double HOH twist is coming to an end. Here we go! I can't wait to see what last ditch effort Zach comes up with!

Zach's Last Stand
Frankie thinks that Zach will try to pit them all against each other. He tells Zach if he would have volunteered to go on the block and not made them draw candy out of a bag...he would have never put him on the block.

Zach hopes "the bearded one" will have his back. Donny told him that he wanted him to stay and he would vote to keep him. One down, and 2 votes to go. Donny tries to convince Christine to keep Zach. He said that if Zach goes, Donny doesn't have anyone, and the rest of that alliance are buddied-up and she will be one of the first ones to go.

Zach has one more go with Frankie. He tries to convince him that Cody is with Derrick and not him. He tells Frankie that if he is HOH he knows he's safe. How would Frankie think that? Frankie put up Zach, so why wouldn't Zach put him up? Just because he gave his word? Don't think so!

Team America
Donny recaps how easy it was to rope all the houseguests into get into the Neighborhood Watch. I'm confused, because last night we saw Caleb tell everyone where to look and where to find the items. I thought for sure they didn't make the 24 hours...I guess that's because they didn't show us everything. Apparently they WERE successful after all.

Hat-Gate
Zach schmoozes Victoria and tells her he loves her and wouldn't be anything without her. She decides it's time for payback. Who knew that the pink hat Zach has been wearing was HERS! She said he borrowed it and never gave it back. When he wasn't looking, she took it and took a fork to it! She shredded it! Oh man...we're in for a meltdown! After that, he decides he doesn't have her vote. He's frustrated because he needs a hat, and not just any hat...a woman's hat. Seriously, Zach?

The Vote
It appears Zach knows he's on his way out...I expected a little bigger performance from him actually.

Derrick--Zach
Christine--Zach
Donny--Zach
Caleb--Zach
Victoria--Zach

Funny how they ALWAYS leave Victoria's vote til last...like she doesn't even matter...because we know it never does. Twitter was all upset because Donny didn't give Zach one vote to shake things up.

Zach stands up before Julie even says it's him leaving...there was no doubt with this one. Then he throws candy or something at all of them...haha! Classic Zach! Love him! (Twitter is saying that it was Froot Loops! Very appropriate! lol!)

They all laugh and say "See you never" when his photo goes gray...famous last words. How shocked will they be if it's him to come back!

Julie asks Zach who he would target if he could do it all over again. He said he didn't know and that he would probably throw the HOH. Then she broke the news and told him he better figure it out because he's battling the other 3 jurors next for a chance to get back in the game!

Apparently Zach had formed a #hatmance with the pink hat, because he looked truly devastated when Victoria cruelly showed it to him in her goodbye message, and what she had done to it. You would think someone just murdered his pet. That's how upset he looked! Get over it Zach! But I still love you :)

Jury Competition
7 rounds--get the most disks on the spinning turn table. Each has a lane and the opening is only open for 5 seconds each round. Kind of confusing!

Round 1: all get a disk on
Round 2: all get a disk on
Round 3: Nicole's misses
Round 4: Jocasta is the only one to get it on, she's now in the lead (grrrrr!)
Round 5: all get a disk on, Jocasta still in the lead (ugh!)
Round 6: Nicole, Zach and Jocasta are tied
Round 7: Not sure what happened in this round, there were a lot of disks flying...

Nicole's is the closest to the center, and she gets back in the game! I think there was a tie between her and Jocasta (ugh!), so Nicole won because her's was closest to the center! Thank you Nicole! That was way too close to a disaster!

So, now let's just mention Jocasta throughout that entire competition! She looked possessed! She kind of was mumbling as well...but at least she wasn't speaking in tongues this time! That was just weird. I can't believe she almost won that competition. Why couldn't it have been something physical? It had to be something for her to actually have a shot at, and practically give me a heart attack! I was so afraid she was going to somehow win her first competition. Thank goodness that didn't happen! Happy for Nicole!

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 11.13

Top 6 perform with each other one last time, and then also with an All-Star partner. They each will also perform a solo.

Valerie & Ricky - Broadway
Woah, look at those blue shoes he's wearing! Oh man...the music...I just can't...The dance was cute, but oh man...

Valerie & tWitch - Hip-Hop
This is going to be so much fun to watch! It looks like there's going to be a lot of humor...which tWitch is great at. I love the wedding theme. For a tapper, she pulled this off amazingly well. I loved it!

Ricky & Anya - ChaCha
This was just hot, hot, hot!!! The whole thing was great. He did a great job with the lifts, and he seemed to nail all the moves effortlessly.

Jessica & Casey - Disco
I love their purple outfits! Boy, they didn't waste any time getting into the big crazy, fast-spinning lifts! It has to be super hard to be spinning that fast, and then changing positions of the lift. Ridiculous! They made all of the lifts look really easy and they flowed very smoothly. Fun routine!

Jessica & Ade - Jazz
This looks more like hip-hop than jazz! And those crazy outfits are definitely hip-hop. This was one strange number. I kind of liked it, but it was so weird!

Casey & Makenzie - Contemporary
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! They floated and moved so smoothly. They had great chemistry. He showed a lot of emotion and was totally believable. Loved it!

Jacque & Zack - Foxtrot
And here we go with the old-fashioned music....blech! The foxtrot has to be my least favorite of all the ballroom dances. It's just so boring! I like the way they played up their characters and how they interacted with each other...but that was about it.

Jacque & Will - Contemporary
A ball for a prop has to be so difficult. Anything can happen, and it could just go rolling away. They did an amazing job. I loved all of the work with the ball...really cool and unique. I just wish they would have used it through the whole dance. I really liked the whole dance. Then the 99 red balloons actually fell on them! I totally believed their chemistry...really good!

Zack & Fikshun - Hip-Hop
Love seeing Phillip Chbeeb back as a choreographer! And great to see winner Fikshun back! What an interesting concept, of having them recreate an inkblot. I love the images they created with their bodies...so unique...so Phillip. So many intricate things going on...so cool!!!!

Big Brother, Ep. 16.25

Donny Knows
Donny knows exactly what's going on. He knows Christine was throwing the competition. He knows that everyone else knew about it. Derrick tried to cover things by saying he had a feeling they would win. Donny didn't really say anything. Derrick then caught Donny making a face to the camera after he left the room, so Derrick knows that Donny knows.

Donny and Zach are suddenly BFFs. Donny is hoping Zach wins the Veto, so he won't use it. Donny is befriending him because he knows the alliance "tells him" that Zach is in the alliance, but Donny knows that they don't really consider him a full member of that alliance.

Zingbot!
Woohoo! Zingbot is my favorite! I just wish he wouldn't have brought Kathy Griffin with him. I can't stand her! She's so annoying, and not funny at all. Zingbot starts off with:

Donny: "I love your beard, but I wish it didn't cover your handsome face. Props!"

Donny said he must be overheated because he's not acting right. Instead of insults, he's giving compliments and instead of "Zing!" He's saying "Props!"

Kathy decides to show Zingbot how it's done with some zings of her own:

Caleb: "You and Amber have something in common. You think she's drop dead gorgeous...and she wants you to drop dead."

Christine: "There is a belief that glasses make people look smarter, thanks for disproving that."

Victoria: "I would zing you, but I'm only supposed to zing people who are playing the game." As usual, Victoria is clueless and doesn't think her zing makes any sense...obviously she's still playing because she's still there and she made it to top 8.

Zach: "What do you call someone who's not afraid to cry, wears pink, and cuddles with men? You call them Zach." Of course Frankie and everyone thought she was going to say Frankie. Shocker! And, I'm not sure, but at first Zach was really upset...I thought he was going to cry! But...was it all for show? Not really sure. The rest of the house found it hilarious though! The best part was when she walked up to him slowly, and he was just staring and not looking at her, and she said "Zing, mother****er, zing!" Then he lost it, and laughed and then tossed his chair over.

This was great and everything...but why only 4 real zings? Come on! Where's the rest of them?!

Bachelor in Paradise, Ep. 1.3

Fallout from the Last Rose Ceremony
Everyone thinks what Elise did was terrible. She should have never offered the rose to Dylan because she knew he was going to reject it. And then to do her speech, was just ridiculous. Chris said she should have just given him the rose first.

New Arrival
Danielle (from Juan Pablo's season) was at the house when everyone got back from the Rose Ceremony. She has a date card, and the date card said "the flight leaves at 9:00". That didn't give her much time to make her choice. She doesn't know who is paired up with whom, and she doesn't want to "be that person" who comes in and breaks up a couple. Does she know what this show is about? That's kind of the point...especially as a newcomer. If she DOESN'T break up a couple...she's going home.

Michelle told Danielle that she should go with whichever guy she wants (and then in her ITM said...as long as it's not Marquel). So...guess who she picks...I bet you can't guess. It was Marquel! So, obviously Michelle is upset. She just gave Marquel a rose...even though they are going through a rough patch right now. Little does Michelle know, but Danielle said she purposely came to meet Marquel after seeing him on Andi's season. Uh oh...trouble in Paradise.

So, the next morning, Michelle tells Graham that she is over Marquel. She is into Robert. She was worried that he wasn't going to get a rose, since he was the last one to get a rose. She is thinking that she should have given her rose to him. She also thinks that Marquel and Danielle might actually have a good connection. Wow, that's quite the 180. She's worried that Robert is mad at her for not giving her rose to him, when she kind of seemed like she was.

Date #1: Danielle & Marquel

Rising Star, Ep. 1.9

This is the Semi Finals
The judges votes will only count for 1% this week. The top 3 are moving on to the Finals, while 1 of the eliminated singers tonight will again be saved by the West Coast.

Austin
I love this song, and I think he's going to do pretty well with it. He's starting off really strong, and totally nailing all of the tricky notes. He definitely is capturing the energy needed for this song. Totally loving this performance. His vocal runs are sounding so good tonight. This was a risky song choice for a lot of people, but for him it is totally paying off. LOVED IT!
-All the judges voted yes.
-Score: 81%

Maneepat
Maneepat is the singer who was saved by the West Coast from last week. She picked an EXTREMELY hard song this week. She wasn't great last week, so the chances of her nailing this are not good. She's starting off pretty good...but she isn't to the hard part yet. And there it is...some not so good notes. She did kind of hit the high note of the "chandelier"...but I'm not feeling it. She slowed the song down I think just so she had time to work herself up to the high notes. That's OK, but it totally took away from the song, and you could tell that she was really thinking and trying to get those notes. It just wasn't great.
-Ludacris voted no, but Kesha and Brad voted yes
-Score: 27%

Jesse
Let's show 'em how it's done Jesse! Let's hit the 90% mark! And he's doing "Billie Jean"...this is going to be AWESOME!!! I love his song choices and I love the way he sounds on every song he picks. He is the total package! They were definitely right about him sounding different with this song. He's taking a much quieter approach. I hope people still connect with him the way they have in the past and vote yes! There's the Jesse we've come to love. That grit...just love it! He puts his heart and soul into every performance, and it is just so amazing every time! I think that might be his lowest score yet, but 83% is still pretty darn good.
-all 3 judges voted yes
-Score: 83%

Dana
Absolutely hate what she did to this great Maroon 5 song. Vocally she sounded great, but I hate this slow, cabaret/lounge style singing. Yuck! Not my style at all. Not surprised that she greatly surpassed the very low score of 27% to knock Maneepat out.
-all 3 judges voted yes

Audrey Kate
I love this song, and I think it's a good choice for her...right in her wheelhouse. I really like what she did with this song. This is a song you don't hear anyone do on singing reality shows, so it was cool to see this oldie but a goodie come back. She did it great justice, and may have even sounded better than the original. I'm really hoping she can surpass the 75% to knock out Dana. It wasn't quite enough...hoping that the West Coast will save her. She just ran out of time...the bar was raising slowly, just not fast enough.
-all 3 judges voted yes

Joshua
I wish he would have stuck with his original song choice of "Love Me Again" by John Newman. I love that song. But no...Brad had to talk him into doing a country song. And not a song choice that I really like either. I would be shocked if he doesn't pass Dana at 75% to make it an all-guy top 3. This song has been done so many times. Boring! If you're not going to change it up, you just sound like every other country singer out there. No originality. It doesn't matter how good you sing it if it sounds like it's been done 1000 times before. Wow...he didn't quite get there. Apparently there are some other people who thing the same way as I do!

Big Brother, Ep. 16.24

"Bomb Squad" is in Control
With only 8 people left in the house, there's only 2 people in the house who were not in the original Bomb Squad: Donny and Victoria. That's just crazy to think that Devin's alliance has remained almost intact and the core members are truly calling all of the shots. Everyone says the targets are obvious. However, Derrick has other thoughts.

I hate the fact that other plans are going to keep someone like Victoria safe for another week. They called Victoria into the room and told her that neither Derrick nor Frankie was putting her up this week because "she's been up enough" let's "give her the week off". Seriously?

Frankie and Derrick agree not to target Team America. Derrick tells Donny that he will probably be going up on the block, but he's not anyone's target. Derrick will try to find a way to keep him without looking like he's trying to keep him.

Team America
America's next task for the trio is to create a distraction by hiding a personal piece of clothing that belongs to each houseguest. Then, they are to create a neighborhood watch program to be on alert to keep it from happening again, and they have to be on guard for 24 hours.

Items they talk about hiding:
Christine's glasses
Cody's hat
Zach's gator shirt
Caleb's "Amber" bunny slippers

Skittles!
Derrick is looking for a "volunteer" to go up on the block next to Donny. Caleb has volunteered 3 times, and he's upset that no one else is stepping up to the plate. No one is budging and no one wants to do it. They even talk about doing Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who should go up. Finally, Zach breaks and volunteers, but they decide to be a little more fair about it. So, what do they do? Then they decide to draw Skittles--each person is a color, and whoever's color is drawn goes up. Hahahahaha! This is awesome!

Whoever is drawn first, will go up against Donny and will throw the comp. Purple is the color drawn, and that was Christine's. She is not too happy about getting the worst task, of having to throw the comp.

The next 2 drawn will go on the block together, and need to win the BOB. The red Skittle is drawn, and that is Cody's. He's also not too happy about this, and is worried about Christine actually throwing the comp. Finally, the green Skittle is drawn, and that's Caleb's Skittle. He's pissed because he has to go up again, and Zach gets to sit back and relax.

Time to Dump Zach?
The group minus Zach decide that it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to try to backdoor Zach. They needed Zach for a while as a number, but they don't need him any more. Derrick says that Donny or Victoria can go any time. I hate this statement for so many reasons. The main reason is that EVERYONE ALWAYS says that about floaters, and then when it comes down to it, they make it all the way to the end, and because they have no blood on their hands, they can end up winning. Case in point, Season 15's winner Andy, and the entire final 3 including Gina Marie and Spencer....all floaters. They got the big players out early, and then turned on each other, and the floaters were all that were left.

Donny's Not So Clueless
Derrick and Frankie tell "the plan" to Donny. Donny said that having his fate decided by colored candy lets him know he's expendable to Team America.  I love that Derrick said they drew the Skittles in front of everyone in the house except for him, because he was sleeping. Hahaha! He picks up on their language of "we" and "they" and he knows they are working together. They tell Donny that Zach and Victoria are the targets this week. Of course, he doesn't know that the plan is for Christine to throw the comp.

Nominations
Derrick nominates Donny and Christine
Frankie nominates Caleb and Cody

Battle of the Block
The Black Box challenge. This is exactly like last season. They enter a completely dark room and they are in search of items, which in this case are bones. They have to get them to fit into their board.

Cody and Caleb bring back 2 bones, but only 1 of them fit.

Christine is having a very easy time throwing this competition because Donny can't see what she's doing. Unfortunately for everyone, Donny is doing pretty good. He's now found 2 bones and the score is tied.

Christine just literally handed a bone to Caleb! Yes!

Caleb and Cody have 3, but Donny just found #4. He realizes that he has found all 4, and has figured out that she is throwing the comp.

Come on Double C! Oh no! Donny just found #5...another single-handed BOB win. Sorry Donny, but I really wanted Caleb and Cody to win. This makes things very tricky for the Veto.

Derrick is now dethroned, and is relying on Frankie and the other Detonators to win the Veto so they can replace either Caleb or Cody with Victoria (or maybe Zach). Yikes!

BBUK 15: Week 7 Recap

Week 7 in the BBUK house...

Kim
Eviction night, Kim wasn't feeling very well. Big Brother allowed her to leave to see a doctor. And then the biggest shocker of the 2-night eviction...KIM IS NOT COMING BACK! Whoa! Never expected that! Or...maybe we shouldn't be that surprised. I think she might be running away from Steven...using her illness as an out. I don't think she knows what to do about him and the guy she left back home. Big Brother first tells them that she is not coming back that night, but eventually, she decides not to return at all. Steven was in shock. He put on his shades so people wouldn't see him cry. He felt like he should be with her to comfort her while she is sick.

Big Brother made an exception for Steven and allowed him to talk to Kim in the hospital. He said he almost walked out. She said if he did that, she would slap him.

So You Think You Can Dance, Ep. 11.12

Top 8--Michael Jackson Night

Ricky & Jaimie - Contemporary
Yay for a Travis Wall routine! His flexibility and extensions are almost super human. He did exactly what Travis wanted him to do. I hated the song, but the dance was really good.

Valerie & Ryan - Samba
Great song choice for this style of dance. The beats and rhythm really fit well. She had pretty good hip action and the Samba Rolls looked pretty good. They were very fluid. I liked the routine, but it did seem a little slow.

Casey & Comfort - Hip-Hop
This is a really interesting story--dangerous/deadly spider. Comfort looks so fierce! Hip-hop might not be his style, but he adapted really quickly. He was hitting so hard! His faces were over the top, just like the choreographers wanted. I think he did a great job, and it was a fun routine. I love the end with him getting stuck in the giant spider web.

Tanisha & Nick - Contemporary
Totally didn't know this was a Michael Jackson song ("She's Out of My Life")...I only know it as a 98º song. The dance was beautiful, and they had a good connection.

Rudy & Allison - Contemporary?
This dance was really hot!I loved it! Allison was amazing! Rudy has never looked this hot. That last throw twist was incredible! I didn't see that one coming! Sounds like the crowd loved it too...they're going nuts!

Zack & Makenzie - Broadway
This was a fun routine. I think he played the character very well. They had good chemistry and were in sync for pretty much all of their side-by-side moves...and there were a lot.

Jacque & tWitch - Hip-Hop
With tWitch in the routine, you know it's going to be good. Right away, I'm loving it! They look so good dancing together. She kept up with him every step of the way. She was really feeling it. I haven't really had a favorite girl in the competition, but I think she's my favorite.

Jessica & Will - Contemporary
I do not remember Will...at all. Maybe he didn't have such long hair when he was on the show before? This dance had some really interesting body shapes and movements. It was a really cool dance. I enjoyed it a lot. They both have such different looks, so it was interesting watching them dance as a couple.

Bottom 4
Tanisha and Jacque
Casey and Rudy

Going Home
Tanisha and Rudy

I am SO BUMMED that Rudy is going home! He had such an amazing routine tonight! He was so devastated! I feel so bad for him! I, however, am not sad to be losing Tanisha...she always bugged me.

Big Brother, Ep. 16.23

So Many Tears!
Nicole wants to clear the air with Christine. Nicole was so hurt by Christine's decision to side with the other side of the house and believe their lies about her. Christine said she was pressured and threatened that if she didn't put Nicole up that she would be gone the next week.

Nicole pleads her case to Christine and Cody. She gave a lot of good reasons to keep her and reasons to finally get rid of Donny who is just skating by without doing anything.

Donny sheds a few tears when talking with Zach. He said he's always left out of conversations and just sits on the sidelines watching them play pool. He asked Zach what he did to make people fear him. Zach lightened the mood by saying it was his beard: fear the beard.

Football Reward
For winning the Battle of the Block, Caleb, Frankie (along with HOH Christine) won a trip outside of the house to the Dallas Cowboy training camp. Caleb is from Texas, and he couldn't be more excited. Frankie surprisingly was very excited also...must be all the cute guys in tight pants. He was squealing like a little girl. Caleb was most excited to meet owner Jerry Jones.

In a way...it's not really fair for Caleb to get to enjoy this reward, since he did NOTHING to earn it. He owes Frankie a HUGE thank you!

The Votes
Caleb -- Nicole
Zach -- Nicole
Cody -- Nicole
Victoria -- Nicole
Frankie -- Nicole
Derrick -- Nicole

6-0 Nicole becomes the first HOH to be evicted in the same week. Sad to see her go, but at least she will be reunited with Hayden in the jury house. She can save him from being stranded there alone with Jacosta.

HOH Competition
The house was visited last night by some scary visitors behind the glass mirrors. Nicole saw them, but no one else did at first. Nicole's screams were hilarious! Then they got Frankie in the bathroom. His scream was the same as hers! And then Victoria...oh my goodness. They all get together in the Fire Room and the lights start flashing and freaking them out. So funny!

An Emergency Quarantine message shows up on the screen saying that there is a threat of a Zombie Apocalypse. They are told a lot of "facts" about the apocalypse on the outside. No doubt they will have to recall these facts in the comp.

Question 1: Caleb is wrong (don't know what he was thinking...it was a no brainer)
Question 2: All right
Question 3: Donny and Victoria are wrong
Question 4: Zach is wrong
Question 5: All right
Question 6: All right
Question 7: All wrong, everyone stays in

Big Brother, Ep. 16.22

The BOB Fallout
The house is reeling from the events from the Nomination Ceremony and the Battle of the Block. Frankie single-handedly saved himself and Caleb and dethroned Nicole.

Frankie and Zach are going at it because they both feel betrayed and lied to. It turns into a "who can scream louder" match about who is the bigger liar.

Derrick tells them to be men and talk behind closed doors. Frankie, Zach, Caleb, Cody and Derrick go into the Fire Room to talk. Frankie decides to tell them all the biggest lie he's told in the game. He tells them that he is a social media mogul with over 1 million followers, and his sister is Ariana Grande. At first they didn't believe him, but eventually they did. He told them, in hopes to distract them and buy himself some time. The guys all said they don't care who he is on the outside, they care more about who he is in the game.

He tells them that he is playing for a charity and hopes to help build schools in Africa.

Now it's time to tell the girls. He's excited to tell them, because he thinks they'll be super excited. They were really stunned, and Victoria screamed at the top of her lungs. They said "you're famous!". Well....really...she's (sort of) famous, and he's got a following...but he's far from famous.

Zach and Derrick both realize that what Frankie's doing is all for strategy. He didn't have to tell them, but he did...it's all strategy. Especially the part about donating his winnings to charity.

Derrick's Many Deals
Derrick has final 2 deals with Cody and Victoria. He plans on honoring his final 2 deal with Cody. However, if Cody isn't around, he'll always have Victoria. He has worked very hard on his relationship with her...which means, he's sat and listened to her cry.

Veto Players
Christine draws Derrick
Zach draws Caleb
Donny draws Nicole

Veto Competition
It's OTEV! This time voiced by Gilbert Godfried! What could be better!! The players will look for drinks named after the evicted houseguests, based on his description. Each round, the last person to get back with the name is out.

Round 1: Donny is out
Round 2: Nicole is out
Round 3: Christine is out
Round 4: Derrick is out
Round 5: Caleb is out! Zach wins Veto!

Before Round 5, Zach asked Caleb if he would throw it. Caleb said he was done throwing comps. Caleb didn't throw it, but Caleb's girl Amber tripped him up. He couldn't find her name. I'm so happy Zach won! I am not ready to see him go yet. His back was against the wall, and I think he has cheated fate one too many times. I think this would have been his time to go if he had not won. I'm sad Donny is still on the block, but let's face it, he's not really doing too much in the game right now.

Broken Alliances
Zach fakes making up with Frankie. He still wants him out the first chance he gets...but he was sure good at lying to him about still wanting to be best friends.

Zach outs all of the alliances currently in play to Victoria. She is crushed to find out that Derrick is in an alliance with the other guys. She then cries to Nicole about it because she thought it was just her and him. Uh oh...I think people are starting to put things together about Derrick. I'm worried that when Zach uses the Veto, that he might be the replacement. Zach immediately regretted telling Victoria because Derrick is an alliance member and he might have just gotten him in some trouble. Duh! What were you thinking?!

Zach tells Derrick that Nicole was the one who told Victoria about the alliance. Derrick isn't buying his story. Derrick asks Nicole, and she said it was Zach. Derrick is smart, so because both Victoria and Nicole are saying it's Zach, he knows he's lying.

He pulls everyone in the room and calls them all out about who said what. Immediately, Zach admits "I lied". Whoa! That wasn't what I expected. In one conversation, Derrick is able to make himself look better, make Victoria and Nicole feel better, and everyone see that Zach was behind it all. This man is a freakin' genius. He totally deserves to win this game. He is playing it flawlessly...and most importantly, he is able to recover from the stupidity of others and use their mistakes to better his game. Genius.

Team America
The Team America task says they need to get someone to volunteer to go up as a pawn and then vote out the pawn. With Donny on the block, they all decide it's too risky, so they choose to not complete the task.

Nicole is the Target
They decide the target should be Nicole because she's a competitor and has won 3 HOHs. They decide to tell Christine that people are talking about Christine telling Nicole everything. They said everyone assumes that she and Nicole are working together. She has to do what the Detonators tell her, or they will be after her next.

Veto Meeting
Zach calls all the "Froot Loops" to the meeting. Ha!

Of course, he decides that he's going to use the Veto on himself.

Christine decides to replace Zach with Nicole. Christine had to choose a side, and she chose the Detonators.

Wow! I can't believe either Nicole or Donny is going to be out this week. Donny said he doesn't know how they will keep him over someone as nice as Nicole.

Nicole is devastated that Christine chose to listen to and believe the lies about her.
