Big Brother, Ep. 17.13

#FightWinLive
Johnny Mac's motto is Fight Win Live! Other weeks he was trying to stay on the block as the pawn. This week he tried and lost and so this is just lame. He has a good streak with winning Vetos, so he's hoping to #FightWinLive.

Audrey Damage Control Continues
Audrey tells James that she is pissed at Shelli for throwing her under the bus to Jason. She said that was a dumb move for her to betray her like that because she's been loyal to "the couple" aka Clay and Shelli. She said they are naive to think that no one is going to try to split them up. James has no idea why Audrey would be telling him all of this. He doesn't know and he doesn't care. What he is going to do though is tell Clay and Shelli so they can "sort this mess out". Ha! Another lie backfire for Audrey. James thinks this is a smart move for him to tell Shelli and Clay because he isn't a threat this week and it will prove that he is on their side. This was the last straw for Clay and Shelli. Clay is right, this kind of stuff has been going on for weeks. It's finally time to do something about it.

Clay asked Audrey why she's been acting weird. She doesn't understand why Shelli would do that to her. Audrey cries that she has no one in the house and everyone else has another person. She continued acting like a child by pulling the blanket over her face the entire time she was talking to him. She is worried that she is going to go up as a replacement nominee. Clay tries to reassure her, but the truth is it's probably going to happen. Shelli is worried that she's going to have to make the decision to put her up as a replacement nominee. She doesn't want to be the one to send Audrey home. She had the opportunity 2 weeks ago and didn't do it and now she is faced with the same situation. She likes Audrey and wants to trust her, but the whole house wants her gone.

Whackstreet Boys

Big Brother, Ep. 17.12

Who Lied?
Austin wants to know who lied to his face and didn't vote out Jeff like they said. There were 4: Liz, Steve, John, and Jackie. Austin is wrong on 2. He thinks it was Becky, John, Jackie and Audrey. The biggest surprise was Liz. She didn't make a connection with James and she did with Jeff so she wanted to keep him. She obviously doesn't want Austin to find out.

Steve Is His Own Worst Enemy
Poor Steve is so hard on himself. He had a little talk with himself in the bedroom and he was so upset that he didn't get the first question in the HOH competition right. He asked himself if he was going to throw the competition and he said yes, and did he throw that question, no. He planned to throw the comp much better than that and at least get the first question right. He said people already suspect he is throwing comps so this isn't good. I thnk he's putting WAY too much thought into it. I don't think that that many people are paying that close attention to him right now.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.11: Finale & After the Final Rose

Let's just get this over with, and watch Nick completely get blindsided for the 2nd time in a row!

Kaitlyn with her Family
Kaitlyn warns her family that her final 2 hate each other. She admits that she messed up and it involved her final 2. She then said that Nick was one of the final 2 and her mom couldn't believe it. Kaitlyn said she has to forget what she thinks about Nick from Andi's season and she didn't know if she could.

Nick - Family Meeting
Kaitlyn told Nick that she told her family about going too far with him in Dublin. He couldn't believe that she told them that. He's got a lot of room to talk...

Her mom's first question to Nick was "Why are you here?". Starting off with the tough ones! He said he could think of a lot of reasons why he shouldn't do it, but he didn't want her to be with someone else. He said last time he went on the show to see if he could find love, but this time he came for Kaitlyn. He told her that she could send him home at any point.

Kaitlyn's mom talked to him alone and she was honest and told him that watching him last season, she thought he was possessive, jealous and even arrogant. He said he didn't come for a second chance on the show, he came specifically for him and he's not surprised to be in the final 2. He said he was in love with Kaitlyn and if she would have him that he would be with her forever. He started crying, her mom started crying. He asked if she would be OK with that and she said before she met him she wouldn't have been. But, now that she's met him, if he makes Kaitlyn happy that would make her happy. Him being emotional showed a completely different side of him for her and she admitted she was wrong to judge him before meeting him.

Nick then talked to Kaitlyn's dad and he shared all of the things he loved about Kaitlyn and he said that he fully expected to propose and was hoping to have his blessing. Her dad said he gets a good feeling about him and he gave him his blessing.

Nick feels confident, but he doesn't know what her relationship is with Shawn. He said it's hard to imagine her having a connection with him like what he has with her.

Shawn - Family Meeting

The Bachelorette, Ep.11.10: Men Tell All

...and I'm back! Sorry about the absence over the last week, I was on vacation and not able to watch any of my shows. I'm trying my best to get caught up, so here's my rather speedy recap of the "Men Tell All" episode. I'm hoping to keep this brief so it doesn't take too long to do because we have the finale and the "After The Final Rose" coming up tonight. It's going to be a long night!

We start out with some video clips from the season. Who could forget Ryan M. and the not-so-good impression he left with everyone on the first night. And then there's the bromance with JJ and Clint. Of course, we recap the entrance of Nick and the fact that everyone hates him and the ego of Ian.

As soon as the video clips ended, Tanner attacked Ian for calling them all lame and the fact that he didn't associate with the rest of the guys and give them a chance. They said his exit was despicable and he needs to give Kaitlyn an apology. Corey said he didn't agree with the way that Ian approached her, but some of the stuff that he brought up were spot-on. The guys who got to know her more disagreed and said he didn't get to know her well enough. Ian decided to take off his jacket and he got in front of them all and got down on one knee and apologized for things that he said and he regretted the way he left and the way he made Kaitlyn feel. Everyone was really confused as to why he got down on one knee to apologize because that's just so weird? They asked if he was proposing...lol! Several of them came down to shake his hand and accept his apology. I think he seemed sincere, but the getting down on one knee was just weird and over-the-top.

Corey called out Clint for totally changed his tune after his date with Kaitlyn. He (and JJ) got very arrogant and wouldn't even talk to them. Clint made it clear that he is not gay and he was there for Kaitlyn the whole time. He came on the show to find love and he developed a strong friendship with JJ because he wanted to spend time with people he finds interesting. JJ said that everything that was being said about Clint could, and should, also be said about him. That's what I have been saying from the very beginning! I don't know why JJ got off so easy when they both were doing and saying the same things. JJ said that he and Clint were so mutually intellectually curious about each other and they went way beyond surface-level stuff...and for him there was a lot of "meat to that". OK, JJ, just stop talking because the more you talk, the worse things look for you whether you are truly meaning what you are saying or not. He just is not explaining this well at all...it just sounds way too gross. The looks on the guys' faces were priceless. Kupah said they didn't need to know how deep their relationship was ever again. Somehow Kupah used that to segue into Nick coming on the show part way through when some of them were there from the beginning and have lost their jobs. That was a very strange rabbit trail to deviate to based on what they were talking to JJ about. JJ said he thnks it was right for her to let Nick on to give herself a chance to see what things with Nick would be like and he thinks she did the right thing. Clint said that the guys let their hatred for Nick got in the way of their relationship with Kaitlyn. Kupah said she should have left the show to pursue things with Nick if she felt so strongly about him because it wasn't fair to the other guys that she was obviously thinking about Nick and the previous relationship that she had with him. Joshua said her big mistake was telling the guys from the get-go that she saw her husband in that room...and then she lets an outsider come in.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.11

Ok, so this recap is going to be shorter than normal. Forgive me if there are any misspellings. My Internet is down again, even after being "fixed" yesterday. As a result, I have to do this recap on my phone...because I'm that dedicated. Definitely slows down the typing, but I'll give it my best shot.

Rallying the Troops
Austin thinks he might be OK sitting next to Jeff. Jeff tries to find people to be on his side and apologizes for things he's done. He told Clay that he isn't threatened by his relationship with Shelli and hopes they can still work together. Clay believes in second chances but he's not sure if he can trust Jeff. He gets all weepy talking to Shelli and said he knows he's done wrong things. Jeff confessed to Jackie that he played on Shelli's emotions. Jackie said that if he can sway Shelli, she will sway Clay and they might be able to get the numbers.

Clay and Jason think James is much more trustworthy than Jeff. Meg is still undecided. She thinks James is likable and that could take him far in the game.

Love Triangle
Austin has a good relationship with Liz. Steve has also shown some interest in her. Austin gets jealous when she and Steve playfully say they love each other. The triangle becomes a square when Liz starts flirting with Jeff.

Jeff tells Liz that they have similarities in that they are both twins. She asked him to tell her who told him. He didn't want to say. They are whispering in bed and Jeff pulls the covers over their head. Of course, Austin comes in and freaks out. Liz said Jeff looked so,scared that he was going to poop his pants. Jeff did not just won Austin's vote with that move. He was upset and full of rage that Liz would allow Jeff to pull the covers over them like that. She was supposed to be staying away from him. He makes a statement that he would sacrifice himself in the game to fill the emptiness in his heart. Dude needs some help. Liz thinks Austin is trying to manipulate her more than Jeff is.

The Votes
I think Jeff had a really nicely prepared speech...I was a little shocked that it was so coherent.

Jackie -- James
Austin -- Jeff
John -- James
Meg -- Jeff
Clay -- Jeff
Shelli -- Jeff
Steve -- James
Liz -- James
Jason -- Jeff
Becky -- Jeff
Audrey -- Jeff

By a vote of 7-4, Jeff is evicted. Very interesting split. Did anyone else catch in Liz and Julia's goodbye video that they said sorry for voting him out because it was better for their game? They voted for James. Their vote must have changed at the last minute. Jeff was not surprised they were twins, as He said he's really been studying them this week. He said one was more flirty with him and touched his butt and the other one did not.

Austin's video introduced Jeff to his alter ego Judas. He said no one comes between him and his twins. Jeff thought it was funny and openly flirted with Liz in front of Austin just because he knew it made him mad.

HOH Competition
They will watch a dance routine and they will answer true and false statements about what they saw.

Q1 - James, Jason, Steve, and Clay out
Q2 - Austin and Meg out
Q3 - Liz and Shelli are the only 2 to get it right, so they win HOH

Big Brother, Ep. 17.10

The Plan
Vanessa has to decide whether to target James, who is on the block, or go for Jeff, which would mean that they would need to change the nominees. Vanessa decides it will be easier to go with James. Austin thinks Jeff is the bigger threat, but since Vanessa wants to go with James, he will have to go along with it.

Vanessa and Austin assure Audrey that she doesn't have anything to worry about because they want to work with her. They actually hope she gets picked for the Veto, because if she did that would be the best scenario.

Austin works on Jeff and tells him that Vanessa is trustworthy and is talking about nothing but about how to get Audrey out. Jeff says that Shelli is not good for Clay and they should think about getting her out. The more Jeff talks, the more Austin said he is digging his own grave.

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.9

The Confrontation Continues
We left off with Shawn confronting Nick. We all know this is not going to end well, right?

Well, that was pretty anti-climactic, wasn't it? We really only saw the same thing as last week. The only new thing was Nick bringing up the Eskimo brother thing. Shawn didn't deny it and just said how horrible he is to bring stuff like that up, and then he left.

Ben's Overnight Date
The go for a horse ride. They both talked to their horses...it was cute! And oh look, donkeys! They're so furry! Now they are chasing them down the hill and attacking Ben, oh my!

They ride to a castle for a picnic.  He said over the last few weeks he's started falling in love with her and he realized that it wasn't just the situation. The more he talks, the more I keep thinking that he is way too good for her and he deserves so much more. It's apparent that I seriously have a thing for him :)

She tells Ben that they are going to be having dinner inside the castle, and if all goes as planned (for her) they will be spending the night in the castle.

Kaitlyn said she can see a future with Ben and she thinks it would be a fun life.

Ben drops a bomb...he said he had a birthday on the show...he turned 26. She was shocked, as she realized that she's older than him (30). She said age wasn't an issue. He told her that she is the hottest older woman he's ever seen.

She looks so happy with him. He makes her smile, she makes him smile.

The Fantasy Suite card comes out. She said this is a big deal for her, but she wants to make sure that he is 100% sure about everything. He said they've never talked about this or any of the other people involved because he's confident in what they have. He said it would be super exciting, and he said it would be the best sleepover ever.

After their night together, she said she's more confused than ever because she had a great time with him. She didn't want to say goodbye to him.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.9

Post HOH Comp
Austin's alter-ego "Judas" has some plans that may or may not include going after Audrey like the rest of the house wants.

Vanessa reveals that Austin is the closest person to her in the house.

Jason is really worried because he has not spoken one word of game to either Austin or Vanessa.

Meg thinks this is going to be an easy week because everyone's agenda is the same: get Audrey out.

Jeff didn't realize that Austin won HOH, he thought Vanessa was HOH...he forgot that there were 2 HOHs. Oh my...get in the game buddy!

James thinks he is in trouble this week because he hasn't talked game with Vanessa.

Possible Targets
Audrey is the most likely target for the week, but Vanessa has other ideas. She thinks Jeff is a real threat in the game. She is also considering putting up James. She said that they will let the house think that they are still targeting Audrey and that will make it easy to backdoor someone else.

Austin is thrilled to be co-HOH with Vanessa because they are both on the same page and just hopes they can make their plan work. Um...Austin...I think you are on Vanessa's plan, because I seriously don't think you have a clue about anything in this game.

New Alliance
"Liz" told Vanessa that people have been talking about her being a twin. Vanessa asked her if it was true and Julia told her that it was and that her name was Julia. Julia hopes that Vanessa will work with her and Liz. Julia even revealed that the twins have to make it 5 weeks in order for them both to be in the game at the same time, and that they switch places every 3 days.

Vanessa is stoked that she has this information and proceeds to tell Julia what she needs to do to be more like Liz. She told her that Liz is funnier and flirtier and she told her that she has to eat more because she is way skinnier than Liz. They think they can get Shelli on their side. Vanessa approached both Shelli and Clay and told them about the twin twist. Shelli is so excited to "meet" Julia.

Vanessa then asks Austin if he's heard the rumors about Liz...he got a funny look on his face. She said the twin thing..he goes "huh?". Man, he wasn't kidding when he told Julie that he didn't have any idea what was going on in the house. He may want to start paying more attention if he hopes to make it in this game. He can't just rely on Vanessa to tell him everything. Austin then asks why it matters that she's a twin. Obviously he is not putting 2 and 2 together that they have actually both been playing the game as one person. He apparently just thought "oh, so she has a twin on the outside, big whoop".  At least he admitted in the DR that he's an idiot.

Finally, Austin thinks about things and realized that Liz and Julia did have some differences. He said he has a different connection with both of them. He kind of has a thing for Liz and now he wants to keep her safe more than ever.

...oh, and all of this happened BEFORE last Thursday's eviction. Not sure why they are showing us this out of order.

So, Julia switches out, and Liz comes back in. Everyone is so excited!! They come up with a name for their new alliance, and it is Sixth Sense. It is kind of interesting that they are kind of 3 sets of 2: Austin & Vanessa, Shelli & Clay, and Liz & Julia.

I have to say that I wasn't so crazy about Liz/Julia, but I think I am kind of liking this alliance of 6. I think they could be very strong...mostly because of Vanessa...we all know that Clay and Shelli haven't been the brightest so far in this game, even though they did manage to get out a big threat, which was Da'Vonne. Now, how can we get John in on this? That would be a perfect 7!

Detective Dentist and Doofus
John is talking to Jeff and Jackie and he said he asked "Liz" about the crown that she had on #9. She said "what crown?". He thought maybe she was just sensitive about it and didn't want to talk about it. John said he could tell because when she smiled (the other one) that the one tooth was slightly a different color than the others. Then, brilliant Jeff said, "So you're saying that there's just one Liz?". Oh my gosh Jeff, you idiot! John said "No, I'm saying maybe there's two." John said if he can get a good look at her teeth he could show him because that's not something that you can switch in and out. So, they decide to go talk to her.

He decides to make an imaginary camera with his hands and goes around to everyone snapping fake pictures. He tells Liz to smile...nothing. She said he was acting weird, John just kept staring at her weird, not able to get a good enough look.

Jeff decided to go talk to Austin about his suspicions. Jeff asked him if he noticed that sometimes Liz likes to work out with him and then sometimes she doesn't at all. He said he thinks she could be a twin and Austin pulled off the fakest surprised face ever. Jeff thought he was doing him a big favor by telling him this. Austin told him that he was so glad he told him because he isn't very good at this kind of thing. Jeff told him that one of them has a crush on him (Austin) and the other one has a crush on him (Jeff)...lol! Austin was like "yeah, I noticed that!". Jeff said they can use this as an advantage. He told Austin about John trying to figure out by looking at her teeth. Austin thinks that if Jeff keeps pressing this that he may need to go.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.8

Post Veto
Jason is devastated that his one and only in the house, Da'Vonne was nominated. Meg is upset because Da'Vonne is so nice.

Shelli is totally upset...not quite sure I understand why.

Last Laugh Twist
A British telephone booth shows up in the house. Kathi Griffin will be calling with 15 tips and only one of them will have the clue for how to win. We all know that it is call #7.

Call #1 - Jason - "be way less annoying"
Call #2 - Meg - "lose 10 lb"
Call #3 - Liz - "breath mints, lots of them"
Call #4 - John - "a little less suck you look like a suitcase" (I listened to this one a couple times, and I'm still not sure exactly what she said because his response was that he's one of the whitest people in the house. I thought she said either "suck" or "sock" and neither one makes sense.)
Call #5 - Vanessa - "try not sucking in competitions"
Call #6 - Jeff - "showers are supposed to be daily"
Call #7 - Da'Vonne - "start thinking about eviction night because you just won the power of the last laugh"...OK, so Clay wanted #7 because that's his lucky number, but Da'Vonne camped out in front of the door because 7 is her number too
Call #10 - Shelli - "burn your wardrobe because it's ugly"
Call #13 - Becky - "you may want to get more beauty sleep"
Call #15 - Clay - "deodorant was invented for a reason, ew"

Da'Vonne was ecstatic to tell Jason that she got it. This is the disaster that no one wanted to happen. She went on a mission to talk to everyone and get them to vote to keep her. Surprisingly, a lot of them said they would...but I'm hoping that they are all lying. Clay noticed how happy she was all of a sudden and he's pretty sure that she won the advantage. He knows his vote will be cut because she hates him. He knows she only said she wanted #7 because he said he wanted it.

Twin Twist

Big Brother, Ep. 17.7

Post-BOB Comp
Da'Vonne is ticked because she is sure that John threw the comp. She dragged him along and he didn't help at all. Meanwhile, John was stoked that he "did nothing!"...he said her strategy was just terrible.

Becky is OK with being dethroned because she had hoped to make new relationships as HOH and she felt like she did that. Now, she thinks Shelli is on board to continue with their plan of back-dooring Audrey. Little does she know, but Shelli actually wants Da'Vonne out instead.

Audrey eavesdrops on Vanessa, Jason, and James. No one was talking game with her, so she had to do what she had to do. She overheard them talking about whether Audrey or Da'Vonne was going to be the target.

Twin Twist, Switch #6
Julia is coming out, Liz is going in. Julia fills in Liz with who won the compettion and who is nominated.

Veto Player Draw
Shelli draws Houseguest Choice and she picked Clay (big surprise)
John draws Meg
Da'Vonne draws Steve (she was less than thrilled with her pick)

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.8

So, last week, we said goodbye to Chris (aka Cupcake). There are still 5 guys left: Shawn, Nick, Ben H., Joe, and Jared. By the end of the night, we should have the final 3, who will then go on overnight dates with Kaitlyn. And who knows, we might even be down to the final 2...their weird continued episodes have really thrown the normal schedule out of whack.

1-on-1 Date: Ben
Yay, Ben! Can't wait to see more of him :) He is just too adorable! I would love to see him as the next Bachelor...just sayin'. He can tell that she's still upset about letting Chris go on her last date.

They go for a paddle boat ride and then play hide-and-seek in some ancient ruins. She is the most horrible liar ever because she started laughing. So now we know that she makes a horrible dead person and a horrible liar.

She told him that he seems like husband material. She said being with him just feels good and feels right. He also thinks something good is happening between them, so he wants to be open and vulnerable, even though he feels he could get hurt. He tells her about being in love with his last girlfriend, and after that ended, his biggest fear is not being loved back and being unlovable. She said that blows her mind because she thinks he is totally a lovable person. She said she could be, and is, falling in love with him. He said he has zero doubts that he's falling in love with her too. He said she reinforces the fact that she would be there for him and be supportive of him.

She asked him what his thoughts were about the overnight date. He said he knows the emphasis is always on the physical, and that's not what it's about for him (yay Ben...I knew I loved you!). He said he respects her views on it, but he can't wait to spend more time with her and more time getting to know her. Needless to say (knowing Kaitlyn's history on the show thus far) she was surprised to hear this. She now wonders if he's a virgin and flat-out just asks him. They had a big laugh over his reaction, but he said, no, he's not, but he appreciates that she sees him as sweet and innocent. They kiss, and then she really ruins the moment and asks him about when he lost his virginity. Man, she is really obsessed with sex, isn't she?

3-on-1 Date: Joe, Nick, Shawn

Big Brother, Ep. 17.6

Power Duo
Shelli and Becky couldn't be a better matched duo-HOH combo. They are so similar and I think they get along really well. Let's hope they can pull off something big this week (aka get Audrey or Da'Vonne out).

They are both nervous about keeping Audrey in the game. They want to do 4 pawns in order to backdoor her. Other than that, they aren't really sure what to do. Shelli said she doesn't want Clay to go up. Becky said she could see putting Steve up because he kind of makes people uneasy by just showing up in different rooms when people are talking. The girls decide to gather some information from everyone and meet individually with all the houseguests.

Jason told Becky that he would be OK with her putting him up since he put her up last week. Austin told Becky that with Jace gone he feels like that is it for him and his biggest fear is being backdoored like he was. I'm sorry, but Austin has barely shown up on anyone's radar at this point. I don't think he has to worry about being backdoored, which is exactly what Becky told him. James told her to try to keep him safe. She said she likes him...she can't promise him anything, but he isn't a target. She told John they have a target and they are working on the 4 people to use as pawns. With most of the people she talked to, she didn't specifically name Audrey as the target, she just implied that they should know who the target is...as the "elephant in the house". With Steve, she did mention Audrey and told him to keep it quiet.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.5

Jace Freaks Out
Jace was definitely blindsided and caught off-guard by being backdoored. He was so visibly upset to the point he was almost crying. He had to put on his sunglasses to cover his eyes.

He clears the HOH Room to talk one-on-one to James. He said he thought they were good. He said he takes it personal because they talked and made deals. James tried to tell him that he didn't want to go up against him in competitions.

Audrey lied right to Jace's face and said she had no part in him ending up on the block. He didn't believe her for one second because he knows that she has bugs in everyone's ears. He knows that she is totally manipulative. He said if he goes home, he hopes the house catches on to her and sends her packing next.

Jace is not going down without a fight. He thinks he can rally enough support to keep him. He was telling this to Austin, and ended the convo with "I'll love you till forever." OK, that's just creepy.

Jace's biggest reason for staying was that he will always be a bigger target than everyone else. He got Liz and Vanessa to say that they would back him. Steve was super excited to give his support to Jace because he needs him. He made a big speech to about half the house and told them if they would support him that he would be indebted to them.

Audrey then decides to say that the entire house knew about the plan to backdoor him because he made them all uncomfortable. He said he doesn't believe that for a second and he knows he is up because of her. They got into a huge argument as he kept calling her a liar and she kept back-pedaling. He said if he stays he will be gunning for her, but she told him "you're going home."

I would love it if he could pull this off. The poor guy really was targeted for no reason. Yeah, he's a big physical threat to win competitions, but so far, his social and strategic gameplay has been non-existent. Like Jace said, Jackie doesn't really bring anything to the game. I would much rather watch someone who is unpredictable. James really missed an opportunity by backdooring Audrey instead of Jace. She would have been totally blindsided! Now she knows people will be coming for and they no longer have the element of surprise. She is a much bigger game threat than Jace. Opportunity totally blown on that one James. I think you will regret it. She already has rubbed everyone the wrong way because she's too involved, she's been caught in some lies, and on her own, decided to bring more people into the alliance.

Twin Twist

Big Brother, Ep. 17.4

New Power Alliance and Sub-Alliance
James forms an alliance with Meg. He then goes after Clay because he's from Texas and is a country boy. In the supply room, James confirms the alliance with Audrey and Clay. They then meet up in the HOH room as a group of 6 (James, Jason, Audrey, Clay, Da'Vonne, Meg).

The Cloud Town alliance was formed between James and Audrey, and Jace and Austin. Jace assured James that he was on his side and would do whatever he wanted to do.

Bro Talk
Jace decides to bring some laughs by streaking in the backyard. No one really batted an eye or paid him any attention. They were actually a little annoyed. Austin was worried that he was annoying people and drawing unnecessary attention to himself. How people perceive Jace reflects on him as well because they are friends. Austin kindly sat him down and basically told him to chill out.

Veto Picks
James draws Becky
Jackie draws John
Steve draws Houseguest Choice and chooses Jason (because he hasn't spent too much time bonding with him and he hopes to use this as a reason later on)

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.7

Continued from last week...Shawn's visit with Kaitlyn in her hotel room...

She told him that he's freaking her out. He flat out asked her if she was in love with him. She said she was "falling in love" with him. She asked him why he was upset. He said he was falling in love with her and it was hard to see her going off with other guys and then after they had a great conversation and things were getting serious, she gives the group date rose to someone else. He said he was really having a hard time and he didn't know if he could do this. He was almost in tears as she tried to convince him to stay. She is still worried that he knows about her being intimate with Nick and she feels really guilty. She isn't guilty about what she did with Nick, she was guilty about the relationships with the other guys. She doesn't want to hurt them by what she did.

Instant bros and BFFs = Jace and Austin. These guys are like 2 peas in a pod. OMG they are using seashells to pretend calling each other on the phone. Their alliance name was born: Shell Town. This is hilarious! Austin is psyched because Jace is a bigger target than him because of his mouth.

Jason and James as Co-HOHs have their first chance to talk one-on-one. For some reason they both agree that John (aka "the dentist") does not seem like a dentist and they think his story is made up, especially the fact that he is from Scranton, PA. Points to Jason for bringing up that that is where The Office takes place, which means he has good taste in TV shows. They are not the first ones to say this about him. Da'Vonne immediately said he didn't seem like a dentist either. They think that if anyone has something to hide or is making something up that it is him.

They think Jace is playing hard socially right now and that he's friends with everyone. Later, Jason and Audrey talk and Jason tells her that he doesn't think she should be worried. She asked who they talked about and he said that he brought up Jace. That made her happy because she thinks he's a challenge beast.

At least early on, it seems like James and Jason could make a really good partnership because they seem to think very much the same.

Shelli and Clay are getting closer. Noooo! Clay, don't do it! She will mess with your head and keep you unfocused in the game! Da'Vonne saw them together and she went to Audrey and said that they need to keep her on the outer ring of the alliance because she seems more into flirting than playing the game.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.2

Tonight the rest of the houseguests join the house!

First Impressions on 2nd Group
Liz - likely to not make friends with the girls
Jason - so many thoughts...the accent, the overexcitement, the fake attitude, and so, so gay; he reminds me of what PeeWee Herman was like as a teenager. He's got the dorkiness of Ian Terry and the exuberance of Frankie Grande.
Vanessa - she plays poker...will she be able to sniff out the other poker player, Da'Vonne, who is lying about her occupation?
John - he's from Scranton...I hope he quotes The Office all day long
Becky - she seems pretty normal
Steve - Ian 2.0; most likely will be BFF with Jason who is also a super fan...except Jason said he wants to be in an alliance of all girls

Liz, Becky, and Steve enter the house, followed by Jason, Vanessa, and John.

Introductions
John is first, and right away, Da'Vonne says "he's lying". She doesn't believe that he gives off a dentist vibe. So, if you're keeping score, Da'Vonne is no 0-2 in reading people. She first said she didn't believe all of what Audrey was saying about her story, and now she doesn't think that John is really a dentist. Looks like her poker skills are either not what she says they are or she is just way in over her head.

Liz makes it known that she broke up with her boyfriend just before coming onto the show because "you only get to be on Big Brother once". Jace is SUPER PUMPED about this! He said he did something similar before coming in.

Clay just called Steve Ian's identical twin. He thinks if he's anything like Ian he will have to keep an eye on him.

Vanessa also lied about her occupation and said she's a DJ.

Jason made a big intro and was so excited to tell everyone that he is 25 even though he looks 12, he stocks groceries all day and lives in his parents' basement...and gay, obviously!!! Oh man, am I nailing these houseguests or what?! Da'Vonne just said he was PeeWee Herman!

James said he wouldn't mind Becky, Liz or Vanessa being HOH with him because he wouldn't mind sharing the HOH room with them.

Takeover!
Oh look! It's Phil Keoghan, host of The Amazing Race! He's there to tell us that since there have been Big Brother houseguests on Amazing Race that he should share some Racers with Big Brother. So, Jeff and Jackie who were matched up on The Amazing Race as a blind date are now coming into the house! Wouldn't have been my pick from last season, but they weren't the worst choice either.

The houseguests hear the "Get ready for a takeover!". He shares the new twist with the house.

Immediately Steve knows them and he knows that they already have a close established relationship outside the house, so he hopes that will make them easy early targets.

HOH Competition #2: UF Oh-No
Again someone has to sit out. Vanessa volunteered. They all made a pact to not nominate the 2 people who sat out (Vanessa and Da'Vonne). VERY interesting that the 2 who sat out are the 2 poker players.

The houseguests are "in the film" that the houseguests from last night were going to see in their competition. They are attached to ropes and they have to hold onto a pole. An alien spaceship is trying to suck them up. The last person left holding onto their pole is the winner.

Jason shouts "I'll be on this pole til September, boo!" He's hoping by showing his strength that some of the alpha males will approach him for an alliance.

This group didn't get away without some yucky stuff all over them. It was some sort of slime and goo that was dumped all over them.

Steve is floating up and he's about halfway up his pole, and there he goes! He gets dropped into a big pile of straw...which now is sticking all over him because of the slime.

Jason looks surprisingly comfortable. Jeff didn't want to look too strong, so he let go...not a very convincing fail.

John was the next to go. And it's nothing but girls...and Jason.

Becky goes, and Jackie and Liz are both right at the top of their poles. Liz goes first and I don't know how she is holding onto the top of the pole. Jason is still sitting comfortable at the bottom of the pole.

Jason told Jackie that she could drop any time and he wouldn't put her up. He wanted to win this so bad...and he did.

Big Brother, Ep. 17.1

It's premiere night! Woohoo!

Right away, Julie Chen tells us that 3 twists will be unleashed tonight!

First impressions on the 1st 8 in the house:

  • James -- did not expect him to be a country boy with that accent! Is he the Asian Judd? Who does he remind me of? Can't put my finger on it.
  • Meg -- she's going to get get very annoying very fast, and I really hate her bangs!
  • Jace -- reminds me a lot of Hayden last year\
  • Audrey -- still can't believe she used to be a man!
  • Austin -- still think he looks like Dan Gheesling with tons of hair! I hate the little tie he has on his beard.
  • Da'Vonne -- not sure what I think about her yet
  • Clay -- welll...he's just gorgeous and he loves animals, he's a family guy, and he's bringing his Bible, so yeah...pretty much my favorite (aka he's doomed).
  • Shelli -- she's one tough cookie

Austin, Clay, Da'Vonne, and Shelli are the first 4 in the house, followed by James, Jace, Meg and Audrey.

House Introductions (1st 8 in the house)

  • Shelli and Clay totally have the hots for each other. She's 10 years older than him and she doesn't even care. They must be soulmates because they both have heart murmurs.
  • Clay did not tell the group that he played football at Texas A&M because he didn't want to put a target on his back.
  • Da'Vonne lied and said that she was a school teacher instead of a poker dealer. Let's see if she's as good of a liar as Derrick.
  • James is liking what Meg is bringing to the table. He thinks she's like Taylor Swift.
  • Austin talked about his wrestling injuries and he made it seem like he wasn't totally healed...but he totally is.
  • Audrey shocked the house with her secret, that she is transgender...the look on James' face was priceless. They all seem to be really open-minded and accepting of her...let's hope it stays that way.

Audrey, Da'Vonne, and Shelli get along well and Audrey spearheaded a female alliance within the first few minutes in the house. I have no idea where Meg was at this time - it looks like she's not a part of this alliance (at least right now).

Da'Vonne isn't sure she believes all of Audrey's story.

Looks like the rest of the houseguests aren't moving in until tomorrow night. Can I just say that I hate when there is a 2-night move-in. Regardless of the country, the 2-night move-ins always create unnecessary cliques and an immediate divide amongst the Night 1 people and the Night 2 people. Not a fan of that.

Twist #1: Battle of the Block
Same twist as last season. Darn, I was kind of hoping they would get rid of that this time. For those who don't remember: each week, 2 HOHs will be crowned and each will nominate 2 houseguests. The Battle of the Block is a competition for the 2 HOHs and whoever wins stays HOH and the other could be nominated.

The first HOH competition is taking place now! But...one person has to sit out. Austin was going to, but Da'Vonne spoke up first.

HOH Competition: Flying Tomatoes
There's a red carpet and Kevin Frazier from Entertainment Tonight is there to talk to them. They are perched on a narrow board while tomatoes are being hurled at them. They have to catch 10 first to win, or be the last one standing. And of course the board is moving up and down and tilting.

Oh no! Clay is the first one out, then Meg and Austin too! Jace almost went down, but saved himself. James has 3 balls and the rest who are left have none. Clay was very upset with himself that he didn't last very long. I'm hoping this is a good thing that he didn't win the first one and become an instant target.

Now the tomatoes have exploded and they all look like they are covered in blood. Jace saved himself again! His skating skills are really paying off.

All of a sudden everyone fell at the same time! They had to go to the instant replay to see who fell last. And the winner is James!

Twist #2: BB Takeover
EVERY week there will be a new twist! Major freakout...no one knows what to expect.

Twist #3: Twin Twist
This twist is one that the house doesn't know about. This is actually a repeat of a twist used in Season 5 in the Project DNA twist. In that season it was Adria and Natalie both playing as "Adria". They succeeded in making it to week 5 and Natalie entered the game at that point.

We don't know who has the twins are this season yet, but what we do know is that Shelli's twin will not be joining the game...because her twin is a guy :) The identical twins will be playing as 1 houseguest and will be switching places throughout the game. If they can pull off fooling the other houseguests, they will both earn the right to stay in the competition, just like in Season 5.

I remember this twist pretty well and it was very entertaining! The task is a hard one because not only do they have to act and speak similarly (which can be hard, even though they are twins), but they also have to "remember" conversations they've had with the houseguests, and details about events that have taken place. If they do it like Season 5, the twins will switch places in the Diary Room and they have a very limited time to tell the twin coming in what they talked about with people and what happened.

Until tomorrow night, and the entrance of the rest of the houseguests!

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.6

Ian's Confrontation Continued...
Last week we left off with Ian totally blowing up at Kaitlyn and him letting her know EXACTLY what he thinks of her.

She asked him if he was saying that she wasn't there to find a husband and he said from what he's seen, he doesn't think she is. She told him that her blood was boiling and she was super offended. She couldn't believe that he was calling her shallow and "surface level". She said there is much more to her that he hasn't seen. She was disappointed by the way he approached things. They both agreed that he didn't belong there and he said he would be leaving. She asked if he felt good about that, and he just got up and walked out. To the cameras he said that he is too deep and too complex of a thinker and he doesn't belong there with those other guys. He said he was being punished for being too intellectual. He was so tired of talking about farts, bowel movements, and sex, and he missed having real conversations about life with people. Then he stroked his ego again and said he fully expects to be the Bachelor and he expects to find love on this show. He said the girls would come out of the woodwork wanting to go out with him. Then, in a twist of irony, he said "man, I really need to have some sex". So much for not talking about it. He's absolutely dreaming if he thinks they are going to make him the Bachelor. Not going to happen.

And of course, who comes to her rescue: Nick. He said that he and Ian had a conversation with each other the other day. He told Ian not to be accusatory when he talks to her. He said he told Ian that he wouldn't have come to meet Kaitlyn if he didn't think she was capable of being a great person. Of course he said all the right things and all the things that she wanted to hear in that moment. Then the guys realized that Nick was missing, he had a rose already, and now he's taking up their time again. Joshua is worried that he's not going to have a chance to talk to her to fix the horrible mess he's gotten himself into. Shawn decided to go talk to her, but found her kissing Nick which really upset him.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations (2 but 3 total): Joshua, Justin (plus Ian who walked out)
Remaining Guys (9): Ben H, Ben Z, Chris, Jared, JJ, Joe, Nick, Shawn, Tanner

And there are off to Dublin, Ireland.

Bachelor in Paradise Season 2 Cast Bios

Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise starts with a 2-night premiere on Sunday/Monday, August 2/3 (normal night is Monday).

Part of the cast has been officially announced (aka all of the "starting" cast, with the exception of the guys who haven't been eliminated on the current Bachelorette season with Kaitlyn...so stop reading now if you don't want to see who that might be; and also the "mystery girl" who happens to be Ashley I.'s sister).

RealitySteve has the rest of the cast and who is joining as the season progresses (similar format to last season). A couple that was honeymooning in Nuevo Vallarta had dinner at one of the restaurants at the resort and found the cast list just lying around somewhere, and naturally, they shared it with RealitySteve (see photo at right).

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.5

Continuation: Nick Joins the Guys
Let's just start off by saying that the guys are not thrilled that Nick is crashing their party, and it would be a huge understatement to say that they all hate his guts.

He waltzes in the room like he owns the place. He said he's not there to create drama and he wants to get to know Kaitlyn more. The guys asked him some questions trying to figure out if he's there for her or if he's just in it for a few more minutes of fame. They said they heard he was hanging out with Andi again, and now he's jumping after another Bachelorette. Joshua said he already had his season, and wonders why he would come back for a "cool chick", as Nick called her. Nick continually said that he just "wanted to meet this girl" because he really enjoyed what little conversations they've had together. He said he wants them to respect why he's there.

Cocktail Party
JJ took Kaitlyn out on the ball field and proceeded to pick her up and run and carry her around all the bases...whoop-de-do. Barf.

Tanner told Kaitlyn that Nick didn't really answer their question as to why he was hanging out with Andi instead of pursuing Kaitlyn. You could tell that Kaitlyn wasn't thrilled with that.

Joshua told Kaitlyn that what he knows about Nick is not good.

Shawn refuses to even say Nick's name. He let her know that Nick coming in the house is causing him to put his guard back up again. She tried to encourage him that Nick being there doesn't take anything away from what they have and that she has a strong connection. He told her that he Nick is full of shit - 110%. She asked him if he trusted her and he said he doesn't know if her actions are matching what she is saying.

Rose Ceremony Eliminations (3): Corey, Jonathan, Ryan
Remaining Guys: Ben H, Ben Z, Chris, Ian, Jared, JJ, Joe, Joshua, Justin, Nick, Shawn, Tanner

And they're off to San Antonio, Texas...

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.4

The Sh** is Going to Hit the Fan...
Continued from last week, we start off right off the bat with Kaitlyn getting ready to let Clint have it. She had just been told by all 13 of the other guys that Clint was not there for the right reasons. My question is: why is JJ getting off scott-free...he's doing just about the exact same thing as Clint. So here we go for the play-by-play...

She pulls him aside, and everyone know that this isn't good. He said there are people in the house that are "very, very, very jealous," but he and JJ have become "like best, best, best friends." "We have grown very, very, very close." Man, he sure does like the word very, doesn't he? She cut him off and said that JJ does speak very highly of him, but it's not about JJ. She said that everyone else is saying that he is one way with her and another way with the rest of the guys. He said they are jealous, and she said he's just being argumentative. She said he has been backpedaling and he looked dumbfounded. She said they are moving backwards all the time, and here he is just talking about JJ and not about them. He said she could ask any one of the guys and they wouldn't say anything bad about him. he said he's never said anything mean about the guys or to the guys and has been nothing but kind to them all. She obviously knew that wasn't the case. She just rolled her eyes, and let out a couple huge sighs as she tried to decide what to say to him. He said he's been 100% honest with her and that scares him...and now he's laying it on thick trying to save himself. He said he would do whatever it takes to overcome this. She said she is upset because she really, really, really liked him (so I guess her favorite word is "really", either that or she's listened to Carly Rae Jepson's song "I Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Like You" too many times. He said, so what, you're done with me? She said she was done and she didn't trust him, and he thought it was insane. She said her gut was telling her that he wasn't her husband.

Her and Clint joined the guys and he immediately wanted to know who said that he was bad mouthing her. She told the guys that she was going to ask him to leave. JJ looked devastated.

JJ spoke up and said "you should probably say 'sorry' to all of us right now." He said he thought that he was taking an emotional energy away from everyone. What?! Who is he Tony? That was just bizarre. I thought he was talking to Kaitlyn, but he was talking to JJ! And just like THAT, the bromance is over! Just seconds earlier, JJ said that it goes without saying, that whatever happens he would still be friends with Clint, and he would probably know him for the rest of his life. So, was this just JJ trying to save himself at this point? He sees Clint is a sinking ship and he wants to distance himself from him and not go down with him?

JJ followed Clint out and said he probably said some things in the heat of the moment because he was frustrated and said it was hard for him. JJ said the guys were coming after him too and they would probably be in the same limo going home (I wish). They went back and forth about how they each told each other stuff that no one else knows. Clint went off on him and told him to get away from him. He went in there hoping JJ would stand up for him. Clint said he was about to lose his cool and he was not OK with that. Clint walks out with one last jab at JJ: "that tie looks really great with that shirt, you  (bleep), you piece of sh**." Wow. Clint leaves in the limo, and JJ wipes a little tear from his eye and heads to the bathroom. He couldn't even do an interview...he got up, walked to the bushes, bent over and sobbed...over a GUY! Yes, people, that's a first. Thanks ABC for those amplified sniffles, that was totally necessary.

JJ doing what he did just confirmed to Kaitlyn that she did the right thing. No Kaitlyn, the right thing to do was to send them both home.

The guys couldn't believe what JJ did to Clint. As much as they hate Clint, they hate JJ more because he threw his best friend under the bus. Jared said their break-up was the worst break-up in the history of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. Their relationship with each other was obviously more important than their relationship with Kaitlyn.

Kaitlyn said her mind wasn't made up at this point and she pulls Chris aside. She tells him that she doesn't think they should have a Rose Ceremony. Keep in mind, 2 people left this week: Tony left on his own and she sent Clint home. So, even though there was no Rose Ceremony, the numbers have still dwindled. She told the guys that she feels too good about the guys that are left, and JJ wiped away another tear. The guys weren't immediately excited because they were hoping that JJ would be going home.

Chris tells the group that they are all leaving for New York City.

Oh, and can we just talk about the fact that Jared finally shaved his patchy facial hair?!? If this wasn't filmed months ago, I would say he must have read my blog :) Thank you Jared! Much improved!

Remaining Guys: Ben H, Ben Z, Chris, Corey, Ian, Jared, JJ, Joe, Jonathan, Joshua, Justin, Ryan, Shawn, Tanner

The Bachelorette, Ep. 11.3

Just in case you have been living under a rock and failed to miss the previews that ABC is promoting for tonight's episode, or haven't heard all the buzz...here's the scoop:

The promos are "suggesting" that Clint and JJ have um...sort of...fallen in love with (not Kaitlyn) each other. Crazy, right?! Believable? Not really. If RealitySteve has taught us nothing else, it is that the show, and the promos, are highly edited. Edited so much so that sentences can be broken up from conversations that took place in different places and different times, and then put together in order to portray something that didn't actually happen. That's what has happened here. This was RealitySteve's take on the situation:

"Now, lets (sic) get to the good stuff: Since we never got an episode preview at the end of Monday’s episode, promos for next week started running. If you haven’t seen by now, they are teasing the Clint/JJ bromance to “Brokeback Mountain” level proportions. I think you all have seen enough promos to this show to realize how highly edited and snipped that promo is. Watch it real closely. No, Clint is not in love with JJ, and no Clint is not falling in love with another man. I’m amazed at how many of you have emailed and tweeted at me since yesterday thinking that’s what happened. C’mon. Really?"

I also read a very interesting article on realityblurred.com that broke down the promo and pulled apart what was clearly more than one interview spliced together. Read the article here.

Now that that's out of the way and we all know what to expect, let's get onto tonight's episode!

Kupah's Meltdown, continued...
If you remember from last week, Kaitlyn had just dumped Kupah because he was being an idiot. Then he started going off on the camera and Kaitlyn could hear him from inside. She came out to try to settle him down. She told him that nothing was going to change and he was making everything uncomfortable for everyone. Again, this was all his fault because she actually liked him until he said she wasn't trying hard enough to get to know her...when he didn't talk to her at all on their group date.

Then he starts whispering to the camera like an idiot and he said he didn't even like her now and something about her having chlamydia...what?! Good riddance.

2nd Rose Ceremony, continued...

Eliminated (2): Cory, Daniel
Remaining Guys (16): Ben H, Ben Z, Chris, Clint, Corey, Ian, Jared, JJ, Joe, Jonathan, Joshua, Justin, Ryan, Shawn, Tanner, Tony
