Kaitlyn
They go to a local temple. They have to put on special clothes, and they are not allowed to kiss in the temple. Embracing the culture, they decide to carry baskets on their heads just like the women were doing. They participated in some sort of prayer ritual, and Chris wore something really strange on his head.
Next they walked around the streets and said hello to the locals. There were even wild monkeys! And then more monkeys! They were so cute...I want one! Chris let one sit on his shoulder and ate a banana. Next thing you know they just start climbing up his legs and all over him. One even peed on him. Kaitlyn was kind of freaked out. She wasn't so sure she wanted them climbing all over her.
They had dinner in a beautiful garden. Chris said she's been holding back, and she said she knows she has a guard up. She doesn't want to be that way, but she has a fear of loss from her last relationship. She said she is surprised by the way she feels about him. She is vulnerable but feels like she is at her best self when she's like that. He said he's really excited about what they have going and she agreed.
Fantasy Suite time: she said she can't imagine saying no to that. He said they deserve it and she said it was exactly what they need. There was an outdoor bathtub completely filled with different colored rose petals in the shape of a heart...the whole thing was covered in them! It was really pretty!
She said she feels like she has opened up more to him than she has to anyone. She said she is completely falling in love with him. He said he was falling in love with her as well. Ooh...kind of a Bachelor/Bachelorette faux pas...not really supposed to let them know that.
Whitney
Chris said after seeing Whitney on her job, he's not sure if he can see her coming to Arlington or not. Hmm... So they have a nice little boat picnic. The boat takes off, and they're not exactly off to a good start when the driver kind of hits the dock. But he gave the thumbs up, so it must be OK. I'm not so sure about this boat. It's got these old fashioned sails, and the water looks kind of rough. They aren't that far from shore, but still.
She's a little worried because her hometown didn't go exactly how she wanted. She was hoping that her sister would have given her blessing. She explains to Chris where her sister was coming from and why she's so protective, since their father had left them and she had to grow up so fast. She said she was actually upset with her and how she handled things, but Chris said he was OK with it and she shouldn't worry about it. She made a very bold statement that she is pretty confident that she is going to marry him.
And what boat date wouldn't be complete without a double jump into the water?
They don't appear to be having dinner, they are just sitting on a comfy couch with some drinks. He said he is hopeful about their future, and thankful that they didn't get eaten by sharks. She said every week it gets harder and she hates being away from him. He asked her if she had any concerns about moving to Arlington. He said that is his biggest concern about her. She felt bad because she didn't really get to see Arlington. He tried to explain exactly how small it was, being only 500 people. If he wants to do anything, he has to drive quite a long distance. She was honest and said that if she looked on a map, Arlington would probably not be where she would pick. However, she said that looking at her future, she said even though she has her great career, she feels like something is missing. She wants to be a wife and a mother. She would leave her job and she would be ready to give that up to become a wife and a mother. She said if she had any doubt, she wouldn't be there. He said he could see her being a part of his life in Iowa. He said he could definitely see himself proposing to Whitney at the end of this.
Fantasy Suite time: she said she's thought a lot about it and she thinks it would be great. He said some time alone is what they need to take things to the next level.
Becca
She's nervous because with the Fantasy Suite coming up, it's time for her to tell him that she's a virgin.
They take a walk through the country and see the locals working in the fields, and see lots of wild chickens. Chris was fascinated by how they were working in the fields without tractors, like what was done hundreds of years ago. They had some fun playing with some of the local kids. Next they went into a temple. They said they could ask questions about the future to the wise leader. Chris asked if they were meant to be together. He said they made a good couple. Chris asked what Becca's weakness would be, and he said she's hard to control. Becca asked for advice for their date in the evening, and he said they should make love. Oh boy...
Becca is hoping to enjoy their dinner without worrying too much about when the Fantasy Suite card comes. He says he loves her family and he could see being a part of her family. It still concerns him that she's never been in love before and he wonders if she will be able to get there with him. She said she only wants to be married once and she wants to make sure it's the right person. That's why she's been so closed off. She said her first impression about Arlington was that it was small, and he said he wants to make sure she could see herself there. She said she wants to be sure about what she has with him first. He asked her where she thought they were at, and she said she feels differently than she ever has with anyone and she thinks that's what falling in love feels like. He tells her that he is falling in love with her. Uh oh...another faux pas.
Fantasy Suite time: she laughs nervously because Chris could be taking a virgin to the Fantasy Suite and he doesn't even know. It's now time for THE CONVERSATION. She's so worried that it could be a deal breaker. She said she would love to spend alone time with him and it's important. Chris agrees. Still no mention of the v-word.
They head to the room. She sits him down and says that she's shared a lot with him about not ever being in love and not bringing anyone home before. She said she feels like he's falling in love with him but she has something to tell him. She said she's been nervous to bring it up because she wasn't sure how he would feel about it. With the look of intense fear on his face, and a very long pause...she finally says it. He whispers "all right"...then stumbles over his words as usual. He said he respects that and he said he would be lying if he said he wasn't a little surprised. She was very happy with his response.
Visit with Chris H.
Chris has a lot to think about. Kaitlyn and Whitney have said they are falling in love with him and could see themselves moving to Arlington. Becca has admitted some concerns, and he thinks in time that she could get to where the other 2 are. He said he has strong feelings for all 3 and wants all 3 to meet his family. He said he's pretty sure about 1 rose, but the other 2 he's not so sure about. He doesn't know yet what he wants to do.
Rose Ceremony
For some reason, now they are back at a temple and both Chris's are wearing the traditional dress. Odd place for a Rose Ceremony. Chris H. warns Chris about the "rules", and that there should be no kissing. The girls are all dressed up too. That's definitely a first.
Chris asks to talk to Becca before he gives out any roses. Whitney thinks that he might be letting her go before the Rose Ceremony. Becca told her beforehand that she thought she might be going home. Whitney said if he had concerns he wouldn't want to put her through the Rose Ceremony. Kaitlyn also thinks that he is telling Becca goodbye. That thought makes her feel happy.
Becca told him that she is crazy about him and it's not about not wanting to go home or that she's feeling these things because of being on the show. She wants him to know that she is falling in love with him and she didn't want to leave without him knowing exactly how she feels. She said she didn't think she would have these feelings and it took her by surprise a little. She said Arlington is not off the table and she's willing to consider it. He said he's never doubted the potential that they have together, but he has a lot of things to consider.
Kaitlyn is freaked out when Chris and Becca come walking back. Whitney said that if Becca's right for him than she's not, because she is so young and lacks life experience. She doesn't think she's right for him.
And then there's some roosters crowing...another first...lol.
Get Roses: Becca, Whitney (side note: I think this is the 3rd time in a row that Whitney was called first)
Going Home: Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn could not have looked more disgusted when he called Becca's name. As he walked her out, he told her that he was sorry. She asked him what happened and he said nothing happened. He said there were things that he didn't understand and it was excruciating for him. He said he had to make a gut decision even if it makes no sense and just follow his heart. He doesn't know if he made the right decision or not. He said he thinks the world of her and he's scared. She couldn't really even look at him. He said there was no right decision. She took it really hard, and she cried a lot. She didn't want to get in the van and leave. She said it was the most humiliating moment of her life. She was really confused with how she was feeling and it really blew her mind. The whole reason she put her guard up was to prevent feeling like she is right now. She didn't expect to leave feeling like this.
Chris was so upset, he cried outside the temple and had to compose himself.
