Everyone is still reeling from Neal's departure. Joe is worried about the numbers without Neal.
Scot does a great impression of Forrest Gump - ha!
Jason is wearing weird girl pigtail buns! Yuck!
Jason wants to make sure if Neal gave an idol to Aubry that it gets flushed. They will keep voting for Debbie until she goes home.
Aubry sees that the camp is like high school. The jocks and the pretty people are close with each other. The smart nerds are on the outside. However, eventually, the misfits get their revenge. She hopes to look for a crack to work her way in.
Jason gets a little personal and shares his story. He shared that his daughter has autism and it's pretty severe. He was very sincere talking about her. He also shared about the burden it has been on his family financially. Even though he said he wouldn't use his daughters to get ahead in the game, he said if people ask about his daughters, he's going to be honest and share. Cydney thinks this was a good time for him so show his human side. She said she now sees him as more of a threat in the end because people would want to give him the money to help him out. She has some decisions to think about for her game.
Reward Challenge
Challenge: 2 teams each transfer 1 plater on poles out in the water and they must all get up on a tiny platform.
Teams: schoolyard pick
Reward: ice cream
Julia (captain), Nick, Debbie, Scot, Tai
Aubry (captain), Cydney, Michele, Joe, Jason
Captains Aubry and Julia will be the ones being transferred. Aubry is the first to fall in the water...twice. Julia is doing pretty well, while Aubry continues to shake and not be stable at all. She needs to lower her center of gravity and stay bent. Aubry falls 2 more times, so they decide to have Michele try. Already, she looks a lot more steady than Aubry...but she falls and back to the start.
Julia is doing well. If she falls now, they will have a long ways to make up. Cydney now trying and she is in the water.
Julia is close enough to the platform and she's on! Now the hard part - they have to get 2 big buys on the small tower. Scot is first on and his feet take up the entire platform! They will have a long time to work on this because Aubry's team has fallen about 100 times and can't get more than a couple feet.
Somehow, they are making quick work, and Tai is the last to climb the tower. He's so tiny and has no trouble at all. And this was a major blowout!
Poor Aubry. She chose her team poorly and she just can't seem to catch a break.
Reward
The winning 5 indulge in a ton of ice cream - right next to the losers. Debbie didn't feel sorry for them one bit. Jason shouts that they don't have to be so quiet because they won ice cream.
Nick asked Scot where his parents were. He said his mom lives in Utah in assisted living. She has a disease and isn't doing very well. His dad died when he was 16. He said they struggled financially when he was young and he chose the NBA so he could help out. He said he would like to help out more and that's why he's there.
Dara Camp
Joe is snoring. They say his name a couple times to see if he can hear them. They said he wears hearing aids, but he didn't bring them. They start talking about their plan.
Nick goes off with Julia to catch up with anything that might have happened on the boat with the other girls. He said Jason is worried about an all-girls alliance, and she said there isn't one. Cydney sees him talking to Julia and that makes her mad. She asks Nick if the guys asked him to go check up on Julia. She said it looked a little suspect. They kind of him-hawed around. Jason asks her if she wants to go talk. He thinks her paranoia set in earlier than he thought it would. Jason said they talked about a girl's alliance but they didn't tell him to go ask Julia about it. She feels like she might not be able to trust him any more and that he might not have her back. She said she might just have to out his idol, and she doesn't even care.
Immunity Challenge
Challenge: balance on a perch with arms holding onto handles behind their head
Scot is already shaking because of his big feet hanging off of that perch. Tai is really struggling and looks like he's in pain. Really? They've only been up there like 30 seconds. Maybe he's just messing with them.
At 5 minutes in, Jeff tempts those who think they might be safe, with food. He said this would be the one and only temptation. They can give up now for food, or they can fall later and get nothing. Jeff went to get the food, and Julia fell off! She now can't have any of the food that is sitting right next to her. Wow, what a bummer!
Scot, Joe, Michele, and Jason all give up for the food. They get to share in a whole lotta pizza.
Tai looked like he was coming down, but he said he was staying. He said he was staying to see how long he could push his body. He said he didn't want one of the Brains to get it. Jeff said that was a big statement and Nick said it was pretty clear where things were headed as the Brains were outnumbered and were going to be picked off.
With that, Debbie can't stay any longer, and she's off! Aubry was in pain, and she fell. As soon as the last Brain went, Nick decided to step down because he's sure that Cydney had this in the bag.
So it's down to Tai and Cydney.
Tai asks Cydney if she is in any pain, and she said not at all. He said "How is that possible?!". He said she can't be that strong and at some point the strong will break. Tai said he is like bamboo and he bends, but she is like a wetwood that could snap. He said he really wanted to see how far he could push his body.
They are now 40 minutes in. He appears to be in so much pain. He said he's calling Buddha and starts chanting. Cydney's like "what the heck is this dude doing?". He checked in with her again and he said she's feeling it, he can see it in her face. He was squirming and looked like he could come off at any second. But out of nowhere, Cydney steps down! Tai fell to the ground and Cydney fell to the ground. He went over and fell on top of her and then as they got up he hugged and kissed her. It was so cute! Way to go Tai!
Dara Camp Pre-Tribal
Debbie: "Way to suffer, man!" Ha! Tai comes back and asks the chicken "How are you, did you have a good day?" Can this guy be any cuter?
Nick asks Aubry what her plan is with Joe. She said she's waiting for people to come to her. Nick told her they were splitting the votes between all 3 Brains. He said if he were her, he would vote for Debbie, "but I didn't say anything". He said he knows she's vulnerable, so if no one is going to use her, he will.
Cydney says Nick's arrogance in the challenge rubbed her the wrong way. She talks to Aubry and Debbie and Cydney thinks they should target Nick. Debbie seems to be on-board and is all in and is committed. She secretly hoped Nick would come around and they would all target someone like Jason instead.
Cydney talks to Julia and Michele about voting Nick. Cydney said he is completely up Jason and Scot's butt. Michele secretly thinks she would still like to work with Nick, so she's not sure voting him out would be best for her right now.
Tribal Council
Welcome back, Neal! 1st member of the Jury - bittersweet.
Nick again announced to the group that the Beauty and the Brawn are working together and they are splitting the votes among the Brains.
Talk of idol comes up and Tai spills the beans about the Super Idol. Tai said he thought everyone knew...but clearly Julia didn't. Oops. Debbie said clearly someone is on the bottom and it's not too late for her to make a switch. It sounds like Tai is saying that people have told him about this Super Idol, but he's not coming clean about actually having an idol.

Crap... #blindside. Well, saw that coming from a mile away. I knew they were going to eventually go after the "Big 3" who felt they were invincible. I sure hope that Jason and Scot take notice - DON'T GET COMFORTABLE!!!
Next week looks crazy! Scot and Jason go for revenge and take all the tools around camp to starve everyone! Whoa!
